The Best MedicineTopics of discussions with friends hover around different issues at different ages. As teenagers, we discussed about our challenges in learning, adolescent problems, etc.  In our youth, we discussed about our dreams of our future, life-partners, career, etc.  A few lucky ones discussed about their love affairs, which had happy ending!  Then came our middle age, when we were busy managing our families and careers and very rarely got to meet our friends.  Whenever we met, the discussion was about how we did the balancing act, our children’s responses, concerns about their education, behaviour and so on.  Children grew up and entered teens and then we had the challenge of handling them.  God knows whether our parents thought about this challenge so much, because the exposure that we had as teenagers was so limited.  Time passed and our children left homes in search of greener pastures.  They found their life partners and the focus now is on their new families.  This is a natural cycle but we all started feeling the pain of empty nests.  We were left to tend to our aged parents and hence when we meet people, what we mostly discuss is ‘health’ or rather ‘ill-health’!  It is not that death is the trend now and it never occurred in the yesteryears but death did not haunt us as much as it does now.  We keep hearing about the demise of the elders in the family, our friends, our colleagues and that keeps reminding us that the time is ticking away.  What haunts us more than death is the age-related complications before we actually embrace death!  Thus all we discuss is about exercise, prevention of certain chronic diseases, management of chronic diseases, weight-loss, diet, medicines, labs, hospitals, doctors - Oh!Do we really get respite from such thoughts and discussions?  We do, if only we go back in time!  How do we do that?  Thanks to technology, we are able to connect to our old friends, friends who can make us feel young!  Recently, we connected through WhatsApp and fifteen of us, who schooled together met up in Secunderabad!  Wow!  I tell you!  Nothing can be as invigorating as attending a school reunion!  Many of my classmates live in Hyderabad/Secunderabad and they took the lead and organised the reunion painstakingly.  We were lucky to get in touch with eight of our teachers.   We invited the teachers to our school Keyes High School, Secunderabad, which was established in 1881.  We felicitated them and sought their blessings.  They were so touched and were genuinely happy that we had all done well in our lives and careers and our children have excelled in their fields.  In fact, one of our teachers said, ‘Seeing your vigour and enthusiasm and your fresh memories I feel like gathering you all in a classroom and conducting a lecture!”We then spent hours in a service apartment, sharing all those golden memories, reliving every incident.  Each of us had something to share.  One of us is a gynaecologist and she shared many of her professional experiences in a very witty manner.  All of us spoke about our marriages and some of us had juicy news about love affairs!  We spoke about the play ‘Panchali Sabadam’, which our classmates had staged on the annual day! We pulled each other’s legs, laughed heartily and even danced and sang!  All of us went back in time by 46 years, putting aside all our present worries, pains and sorrows!  Three days just flew by.  When the time came for us to depart, we were all sad but all of us decided that we had to organise such meets more often in future, getting some more of our friends into the loop.  A few more friends have joined the group since then and are now very eagerly waiting for the second reunion, which we are organising in our garden city in December.  This is the b medicine for all ailments in this age!  Do take this medicine in higher dosages!

Stepping out of my cocoon
 2 March 2018

“Hello dad, my internship location is a different city, 2000 kilometres away! My friends are planning to book train tickets and it will take nearly 36 hours to reach.” I was blabbering on the phone standing in the corridor outside my classroom. I was expecting my dad to say, “Never mind. Both of us will book our flight tickets, I will take you there, meet your office people, book you a hostel for two months, talk to the hostel warden, check food facilities and everything else and ensure that you are in the best of your comfort zone.” Instead, he said, “Yes, go ahead. You also book your ticket along with your friends.” I was frozen for a minute. “But dad, it is a 36 hour long journey!” I said. “Yes, that’s okay. If your friends don’t want to go by air, you go with them by train. It will be fun.” He tried to comfort me. I stood there for another few minutes wondering how I would manage all of it on my own. I had never stepped out of home without my parents’ guidance and that was my cocoon I refused to step out of.Now, I was being given only 18 days to prepare myself for this 2 month long journey far away from home. My batch mate booked train tickets for 5 of us who were going and I was glad that at least I escaped one task. I was extremely nervous. 18 days passed with the blink of an eye. The away-from-home mission started with the train journey, the second of my life so far. But like my friends and my parents had said, the journey was fun. 5 of us immediately bonded and endured our 36 hours playing dumb charades and other games. We reached early morning and stepping foot on a different land comprising of different people, speaking a different language and most importantly, me being away from my parents was like being on an expedition for me.But now, when I recollect those days, I feel those were among the best days of my life and I cherish each memory I have of that place. Roaming on the streets with luggage and hunting for a hostel, negotiating with the hostel warden for the fee and settling my things in the wardrobe were the first few things I did on my own. At home, I was a spoilt child and had never entered the kitchen except for taking food or keeping my utensils in the sink. In the hostel, besides taking food from the kitchen, I washed my utensils, packed mine and my friend’s lunch and even warmed milk on the stove in the middle of a night for a friend who had hurt her foot and couldn’t walk. I even learnt to wash clothes, iron them, withdraw money from a bank, go grocery shopping, interact with people not knowing my language and so many other things I couldn’t have done staying in my own city at my own home.At the internship, my boss assured me that it was a safe city and I could travel around for events and work. I managed to do 18 events in the two months, a number the company was yearning to reach in the two years they had been operating for. Everybody appreciated my work at office.I learnt to not only take care of my own self but of my friends too. They had started teasing me by calling me mommy, the one who was always worried if everybody was eating well, was in their respective rooms before the deadline at night, was reaching office on time, etc. I also became the accounts in charge for the 5 of us, who owed whom how much and why, I kept a record of all of it.Being a strong and chirpy girl most of the time, at some other times I broke down too, on the day of my childhood friend’s wedding when I could not be her bridesmaid, when my grandmother suffered a minor heart attack and I couldn’t be there beside her bed and sometimes, just like that, not knowing why.But overall, I am glad that I went there stepping out of my cocoon. I learnt a lot of household chores, a lot from my internship, made a lot of new friends and most importantly, learnt a lot about my own self!

Are teenagers really a 'mess'?
 20 April 2018

Taking a little hiatus to their lives. We never forget what a mess we were at 16! A big group of friends or no friends at all, being a bully or getting bullied, a friendly person or an introvert who were never in love with their voice. Maybe? Faking smiles or laughing all day long, Dried eyes or dove eyes, racing with the wind at the speed of light, classmates who were irritating before, started residung in the hearts! trying to cover acne, carefree yet insecure about themselves, shot up hormones, distancing themselves from parents, intriguing or rather, questions at every step, looking at the world through a different lens. Undoubtedly, teenage life is the most confusing phase of one's life. How desperatelywe wished to relive those years and change them or live them again? That chapter of life, we all agree was no cake walk but surviving it and living it creating memories seems to be a victory in itself. It looks like a crucial step in the evolution of man which made us strong was this silly age. It seems to shape our present and that is quite a generalized statement. Isn't it?Teens question everything. Yes, even if they have google! It doesn't matter. They will always be in denial. They keep oscillating and floundering in their likes and dislikes. All in all, most of the Indian adults don't know how to bait their rebellious kids. They keep lecturing them which is usually right but the young ignited mind feels the anguish, hatred and obviously, the feeling of being misunderstood. It is okay, teens! you all are hastily running towards your dream, expecting a rise while nature awaits for your great fall!Yes, you will hit the wall just when you were expecting a door!Integrity without even getting noticed will turn you into a cruel satirist! wait for it! until your next fall which will again turn you into a humble person, or, maybe not? Rise- fall- Rise. We all learn from these years. Lots of Food and strange FolksRegular laughing at our own jokes. Fake friends, real friends, BFFs, bf, gf, mum, paa, and teacher with some funny nicknames. The depth of relations is measured by the length of the abbreviations. Validation of the outside world becomes supreme, often influencing your own decisions? Every day looks like the next moment of Insidious! Disappearing dreams, nightmares becoming reality perfectly blending with the virtual world. Basically, several old frames chuckling up to enter the world of transitions. MESS is one word and Embracing it becomes a necessity.  You wish to pull the strings all along but instead gets pulled up by the world!?! Till then you figure out yourself, let me leave you wondering about HAPPY ADULTING!?!

"The Puppet Show"
 14 March 2018

What a beautiful life it was without the virtual reality headaches. Babloo with Golu calling Titu and Monu with other friends were rushing to the nearby fields to play cricket, volleyball, football, gilli danda and kabaddi. They were even so fond of sack race, cycling, hide and seek and a number of other exciting games not only to keep them entertained but also to stay fit and fine. Then, Babloo, Golu, and Titu were growing up playing various outdoor games, the games which need sharp mind, attention, keen intellect and alertness. They were also doing best in their studies and pursuing good careers. It is true that they didn’t know the magic of the computer and internet. If they were given such facility, nobody would have beaten them. Here, what I want to highlight that yes they were lacking a facility, but still, they were the go-getters, the trendsetters. With the advent of computer and internet life changed hugely. Nowadays, kids are ‘internet-babies’ and youth are ‘puppets’ in the hands of the internet. I don’t dare to say anything against internet and it has a lot of contribution to our life. If our life is getting better and better, it is only because of the internet. But as we know “too much of everything is bad”, we should have control over its use. Along with free internet data available, not only youths but most of the people are getting addicted to the internet and social media. Kids cannot stay away from online games, cartoon videos and new varieties of apps are also coming up which fascinates the young minds.Social media is gaining huge popularity day by day. It’s indeed a great idea to stay connected to friends, family, admirers, and well-wishers. Personally, I feel it’s a great platform to expand your knowledge and information base. It connects you to a group of like-minded people, using it we grow our business, increase our fan followers. We also get to know about day to day happenings. But, the excess use of social media leads to frustrations also. There is a kind of virtual competition going on. People are busy showing off that they can afford to visit foreign countries, can go to expensive hotels and can enjoy the most exotic holiday trips and at the same time busy uploading picture, to make others feel that “yes, I can afford and I am living such a lavish lifestyle.” Those people, who really can’t afford, feel sad and broken and it also makes them feel low. It gives them a chance to curse their destiny; it creates and spreads jealousy and narcissism among people. If we post something on social media then we expect more likes and comments and if there are more likes we feel like winners, if fewer likes and comments feel like losers. Somehow, it disturbs our mental peace. Yes, I have seen many teenagers struggling to get more likes, comments, and shares. After the addition of love, wow like emoticon buttons, there is competition to get more loves, wows. Is it a real life? We forget that this is not the taste of a real life.As per my observations on social media behavior I found there are a few types of social media users which can be divided into the following groups;Group-1 (The smart users): These types of people always love to give likes or comments if you look beautiful, smart, if you post pictures of your exotic holiday trips, get good jobs in big companies. Let me say, this is the reason you get more friends and it can also be the reason for losing some friends as they can't see you going, growing, or happy.Group-2 (The Genuine users): There are some people who always give likes and comments from their hearts being yours true and genuine admirers and they never hurt you. They can be the biggest supporters and friends.Group-3 (The Deliberate users): Some are there who prefer to give likes, loves, wows and comments as they expect you to do the same and it’s their sweet strategy to get more likes in return. They can be described as sweet “Like collectors & counters”.Group-4 (The Snobs): Some users are there who give likes and comments only when they find and think, “Oh, yes…this guy is of my level”. Otherwise, they don't care.Group-5 (The Moody users): There is a type of moody users group. They are so moody in this matter and you can't predict when you are going to get likes and comments from them. Group-6 (The Silent users): Another group of users is there who never give likes or comments and don’t bother even if you don’t give comments on their posts.Group-7 (The Jealous users): Some people knowingly avoid you only because “it is you” and they feel jealous of your followers, friends and the more likes and comments you get the more it makes them upset. Group-8 (The Selfish users): The selfish users are the true bargaining kind of people, “If you give likes, I will give likes, if you don’t, I won’t”. However, they start liking your posts like ‘your one and only friend’ and beautiful comments to make win your hearts. But, if they don’t get return likes or comments they just stop there.Group-9 (The Go with the flow users): Go with the flow users are very diplomatic. They give comments, likes, loves on your posts, pictures only when see and find your mutual friends giving you likes, loves, wows, then they can’t tolerate and even if they don’t like they give it only to go with the flow.Group-10 (The Game watchers): Last but not the least, the ‘Game watchers’ love to watch the game till the end. They just pause a bit, then wait and watch how your posts are performing in the ‘Like & Comments Game’. If your posts get more likes n comments then they decide to throw likes. The story doesn't end here. Many people are opening fake accounts and flirt with girls and start chatting with them. As everything has its pros and cons even social media has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is undoubtedly the biggest source of communication, interaction, entertainment or infotainment. It is used in a wrong way causing major issues. Cyberbullying, hurting each other and insulting people are very common these days. Teens are completely trapped by the momentary bliss social media gives. We are celebrating festivals, important days and throwing parties being obsessed with posting pictures and giving status updates by forgetting the actual purpose of the event. In this entire process, we people are getting puppets in the hands of technology and social media. It controls our emotions, it gives us pleasure, and our life is controlled by how many likes, loves, and wows we get. It is also creating frustrations among the youths as they see their friend going ahead, achieving success, going on foreign trips, spending holidays in posh hotels, buying luxurious cars and houses and they can’t do it. It makes them feel low and bad about themselves and their positions. But, they must understand that “all that glitters is not gold” and people do it only to show others. In the name of social media, we forget the actual relationships because we are so busy with this ‘virtual friendship’. As per a new study, we now spend more time on our smartphones than with our partner. While at home, we too remain busy with our smartphones, updating our status on social media and it’s like as if a puppet show is going on and we are the puppets in the hands of social media. Hence, we must understand the pros and cons of social media and it should be used to make our lives better not bitter. We should not be addicted to it. There are a lot of benefits from using these platforms. We can follow the news, can read good articles, and can keep in touch with friends and family who may be physically far away. But sometimes, we should take a break from it, just put the windows down, enjoy the fresh air, breathe, read some good books, do gardening, go for a walk, spend time with family & friends, play some outdoor games and do some charity work and it will give you the real pleasure of being with the real people.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.27
 12 June 2019

Codependency - In Gita Verse 1.27 When the son of Kuntī, Arjuna, saw all these different grades of friends and relatives, he became overwhelmed with compassion and spoke thus.As soon as Arjuna saw different grades of friends and relatives he become overwhelmed, means he become aware of objective world, lost track of his subjectivity. This is Unconsciousness. Whenever we become aware of objective world and become unconscious of self this is Unconsciousness. This is an entry point of codependency. How to recognise codependency:Co-dependent relationships are characterized by a number of things, the main ones being addiction to trying to “fix” someone, depending on another person to be happy, and a feeling of “needing” someone vs. just wanting to be around them, etc. When our fear of losing someone outweighs our fear of losing our own self into them, we can be sure that we are co-dependent. For example, when we have found ourselves forgiving someone time after time, having to “get over” constant feelings of disappointment or frustration out of fear that the person will leave us if we don’t.We are letting fear be the motivator of the relationship which means we have completely become prisoner to their behavior. Roles have been established, and the more we are attached to these roles, the more dependent we are on the other person to reinforce the one we are playing. They need us to reinforce their role and we need them for the same reason. At the point of this happening we are able to establish the boundary between healthy and unhealthy, unconditional love and codependency. As our feelings take a back seat in order to appease the other one, we see how fear of upsetting another person (which goes hand in hand with fear of losing them) sneakily disguises itself as unconditional love and forgiveness. The most important thing to realize here is that the another person cannot make us feel worthy, validated, accepted or loved unless we have unconditionally accepted and loved our own self first.Another person cannot make us feel secure, confident, respected or important if we have not done these things for our own self first. Often, after we have realized that we are not always completely confident, or independent, or fearless we make a mistake that actually ensures we remain a prisoner in a codependent relationship. We try and become who we think we “should” be in order to try and prove to ourselves and the other person that we can be who they want us to be.Unfortunately, this tactic never works for long because to deny a part of our own self is to allow it to persist. What we try to avoid, deny and pretend will continue to pop up in the most inappropriate of times, which becomes another red flag telling us that the relationship is codependent. Healthy relationships need no “strategies.”Loving people that respect themselves and respect one another do not need “tactics” in order to get the other one to act how they want them to.Arjuna even knowing well his role and agenda of the war still become Unconscious towards himself. Verse says - “he became overwhelmed with compassion and spoke thus” - indicates he has become unconscious regarding himself. It don’t mean that he was totally unconscious - in verse Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.14, it says very clearly that before he blew his conch shell he stationed, took his position, indicates that he is self-alert. While in this verse it says that looking all these different grades of friends and relatives, he became overwhelmed with compassion and spoke thus. There is no mention of his self-alertness. In many of my verse I have mentioned repeatedly that to remain self-aware is difficult, but to become Unconscious is easy. When Arjuna addressed Krishna to drive his chariot in the middle somewhere he wanted to see his reality that whether he could remain self-alert, after viewing all his family members and friends, regarding himself or not. He wanted to check before the war started. If we check whether we are self-aware or Unconscious before any act, our act will be connected to our subjectivity. Then our mundane act also will become divine.

I am an introvert
 21 March 2018

Hi, I am an introvert and afraid to communicate with people but human as well and I also had a crush on one of my classmates during my college days. But it wasn't possible for me to talk to her directly, so I approached one of her friends and my schoolmate and that's when everything changed. Days passed as I started texting the friend regularly, keeping my crush aside. In college, we were in different sections but we used to meet after every class. Everybody in the class assumed that I was dating her but we were just good friends. Soon I was sharing everything about my life with her and intended to know more about her. In no time she was my best friend. Being an introvert and having a girl as a Best friend is surprising but she was special to me. For the first time, I was that close to a girl. Two years passed in a blink of an eye. You see time passes quickly when good things happen. Now we are people who know each other completely and understood each other's action. She changed me for good. But life is full of surprises and I had no idea what's coming next. Our friendship went great for let's say two and a half years until I had to shift to a different state for higher studies. That is when everything changed for us. It was getting tougher day by day since we couldn't meet and communicate frequently. And the fear of losing my only best friend kicked in. With time I felt that she ignored me, or maybe busy with her own stuff or maybe her priorities changed.A few months passed this way and my insecurities grew in multiples. And that's when I realized I was in love with her and couldn't let her go away. One night I decided to express my feelings to her, but she never gave a clear reply. I was her priority for sure. According to her, I was her best friend and my place in her life had not changed. But something changed for sure, she was no more the one she used to be with me. But I can't blame you for this.Being an introvert and having a best friend is a blessing. I too had a best friend but she isn't there anymore. So I thought it's better to remain an introvert. There are friends and then there is that one best friend who is etched into your soul and they will forever remain the same. I might still be her best friend but, she isn't the friend I used to have any more.

Dear Zindagi
 10 April 2018

“DeAr ZiNdAgi” Yes !!! what could be more beautiful, precious, lovable & valuable thing in the world other than 'Life' or 'Zindagi'. Dear Friends, we often tend to run so fast in life, that we have no time to stop & when we realize it’s too late to turn back. We hold loads of grudges # sufferings # pain # complains # unspoken words # un expressed love & much more from being child to being adult & that makes us to stay in the nutshell from which we do not want to step out coz of fear to get hurt again, to face people, to tackle same problems & same circumstances again. We keep running away from our-self, & we start living a life that makes us unhappy at times. Life is too short & all we have is only one life so, we should not let our past bad experience haunt & spoil are present. There are many who do not have good relationship with parents, with siblings & of course wife & husband, but each broken things can be fixed if we make efforts & know how to fix them. Being child we were too immature to understand things, situations, parents, siblings, friends, etc, but now that we have grown up we must learn to accept that all people make mistakes knowingly & unknowingly but we should give them a chance & forgive them. The people that make you unhappy let them go away from your life & you need not to regret. The people that make you happy, that motivates you, encourages you, understands you, listens to your heart, loves you should be valued & should never take them for granted.Speak out as and when need, instead of burying your unspoken words & feelings inside your heart. Our heart does not have habit of carrying such a heavy load. Our heart is precious & should be kept peaceful & happy to enjoy every second & minute of our life.Nothing holds us back except I Me & Myself. Learn to live in present & learn to change your present by improving in all little ways that you can that can make you & you life happy & joyful. Mistakes is our best teacher, so keep falling & keep learning but when you get up learn to move forward in life without turning the pages of unhappy past. You are the writer of you own life, so make the most beautiful painting out of it & give the Title “Love you Zindagi”We shld not feel ashamed of talking on our mental stress, depression, & feeling of being alone to our friends, families & dear ones. Dnt simply live life. Learn to live healthy stress free life. If you are happy frm within, you will see more happiness around you to feel & enjoy. If you are mentally stress free & happy it will help u to forget your past, you will live in present, do enjoy the company of yourself, love yourself, appreciate yourself & make your heart free like butterflies. #smblogcontest

Post break up , we normally face three phases.
 16 March 2018

Negative Phase: A phase where we keep disturbed, angry and annoyed all the time from the person who left. We keep abusing, cursing that person in alone, almost everytime. We cry but do not get peace even after weeping. The mind doesn't get settled anywhere. Bad thoughts overcome our senses. Even friends and family seems enemy, we start hating love and relationships. This phase needs patience.Neutral Phase: We stop abusing and cursing the Ex and start remembering him/her in alone. Tears start to come out at every moment we remember. As tears fall down, it gives relief to the heart. It happens only when we are alone because in this phase we start liking being with friends and family. Studies and work keep us busy. We start feeling annoyed from the loneliness and need a partner so that we can enjoy. This phase needs acceleration and determination.Growing Phase: When we step up and decide that now it is not gonna work like before. Once again we start going around with people to make a relationship as phase 1 and phase 2 teach us a lot of lessons. We start shaking head on the moments that we wasted with our Ex, and moments happened during the day bring a smile on our lips. By reaching this phase we understand one important thing that" Always a start is needed to get out of the bad phases and no phase is permanent in life. " Once we understand this statement, means we are fully Healed.

Priyanka, A Savior Girl.....
 20 March 2018

It was 15th March. On her way to Ganesh market, Priyanka found a poor puppy that was passing through the middle of the road and at the same time a girl from opposite side, just came with her two-wheeler and was about to hit that puppy. But Suddenly Priyanka threw everything, jumped and took that puppy away but unfortunately, that two-wheeler hit her that brought her many injuries CV. Still, she forgot about her and curiously searched that puppy and asked the nearby public, “if the puppy is okay if it needs medical help …..”The Puppy raised it's head without making any voice and looked at Priyanka because it was really asking for help. Priyanka was worried about that puppy wherever she herself was badly injured by that two-wheeler. Priyanka reached home with many injuries. After seeing her in such condition, her Mumma badly cried as she was loving her a lot. Dady also came from work and called a doctor to home….her friends came to see her … and all were angry as well as made her fun by saying why she was going to save such a street sided puppy..! But no one was able to read her heart …! In real when Priyanka met that puppy, it had no such name tag or belt tied around its neck. Then It was very dirty and thin but instead of all, it was also very cute. She thought it is a stray dog but unknowingly she went and saved the puppy! Wanted to take it and make it a normal, healthy, happy, Puppy which in reality gives her an opportunity to give life, which was never…..!Priyanka sometimes says "I honestly believe that God sees these creatures being seen by animals as to how anyone can spend in human form! If You have performed well and we must hope that a lot of People will go ahead and learn from you...This is one of the reasons that she comes forward to save them, because dogs are the best friends of humans, and as she said being a valuable animal to get a good life….# Umasankar Sahu #smblogcontest

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.9
 6 July 2019

Momentum - In Gita Verse 2.9 Sañjaya said: Having spoken thus, Arjuna, chastiser of enemies, told Kṛṣṇa, “Govinda, I shall not fight,” and fell silent. This is not only with Arjuna but every one of us is facing this situation. When ever we are stuck into the objective world we become unconscious regarding our present moments act. We want to give up our act for the sake of others. As Arjuna saw the objective world and relationship with them in the objective world he got stuck and wanted to give up his assignment of the universe.Take any incident in your life and recollect how many times you have give up your goal not because of your incompetence but to give respect to the others.I shall narrate one incident in Gore Gopal’s life. When he graduated as an engineer and suddenly decided to take sanyas, there was lot of resistance from his family and friends. But without resisting anyone he didn't give up what he felt and moved towards his goal. Today not only is he happy but with his success everyone who were resisting are also happy and have become his followers.Generally what we do when family and friends have some reservation we give up our goal because at that moment we are not able to balance within ourselves. In the process whole of our life we are carrying certain pain in ourselves. The most difficult thing, the almost impossible thing for the mind, is to remain in the middle, to remain balanced. And to move from one thing to its opposite is the easiest. To move from one polarity to another is the nature of the mind.It is difficult for the mind to come to the right diet, difficult for the mind to stay in the middle. It is just like a clock's pendulum. The pendulum goes to the right, then it moves to the left, then again to the right, and again to the left; the clock's working depends on this movement. If the pendulum stays in the middle, the clock stops. And when the pendulum moves to the right, you think it is only going to the right, but at the same time it is gathering momentum to go to the left. The more it moves to the right, the more energy it gathers to move to the left, and vice versa.Thinking means momentum. The mind starts arranging for the opposite. When you love a person you are gathering momentum to hate him. That's why only friends can become enemies. You cannot suddenly become an enemy unless you have first become a friend.Logic is superficial, life goes deeper, and in life all opposites are joined together, they exist together. Remember this, because then meditation becomes balancing.Buddha taught eight disciplines, and with each discipline he used the word right. He said: Right effort, because it is very easy to move from action to inaction, from waking to sleep, but to remain in the middle is difficult. When you are standing in the middle you are not gathering any momentum. And this is the beauty of it - a man who is not gathering any momentum to move anywhere, can be at ease with himself, can be at home. When Arjuna after saying “Govinda, I shall not fight,” he become silent. This indicates that he is now unable to think, he has agreed to others. It’s not silence or surrender it’s going from one side of the pendulum to other side of pendulum. He became silent because he is creating momentum to go to the other side. Means going from others to himself, without being self alert. In my blog Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.21-22, I wrote - Arjuna when he wanted to look at both the parties and see their preparedness he was self-alert. He was in the middle. He didn’t say to Krishna that I want to see only opposite side. He was in the middle. He wanted to see his party also.Arjuna as soon as he became unconscious towards self he went and got stuck to one side. Now creating the momentum to move to the other side. As he knew that if he wouldn’t fight the war he will be carrying this guilt for the rest of his life.

 9 October 2019
Art

It might seem a challenging job to gain Instagram followers in the beginning, but believe us, it is not that difficult. We have come up with some smart tips and tricks to increase your Instagram followers and engagement, initially.Once you have given a professional touch to your account that we discussed in an earlier blog (Instagram SEO), next is to follow these tips and soon you will reach your goal of growing your initial followers. For that, let us have a look at Dezi’s story,“Dezi had an extraordinary and appealing personality now, however, he isolated himself and no one could see him, he was lonely. One day, he went outside his house and he saw a cute little kid and smiled at him, the kid smiled back, that’s when he realized that the world isn’t a bad place. He got a wave back whenever he waved at people, he started interacting with more and more people. Now, Dezi made a really good group of friends who always supported him. On a friend’s birthday, he gifted him his favorite watch as a present for whatever his friend did for him, which made their bond stronger. Dezi was now content with his life and decided to go for what he cherished the most, “singing”. He decided to organize a singing event. One of his companions, “Influe” helped him out in advertising his event as he knew many people who had similar intrigue. Dezi’s friend, Colla who was a great guitarist played the guitar and gave music to Dezi’s voice on the day of the event. It was a successful event, both Dezi and Colla were immensely happy and got a lot of affection from the crowd. Dezi now found a way to live and got a kick start to his career, his friends played an important role throughout his journey.”We can almost hear you thinking, “But what do I do with Dezi’s journey?” Let us lift the veil for you…1.) Follow for Follow/Like for Like:Some of the things never grow old, these tricks still work if done correctly. Don’t just follow anyone, instead follow the people who follow someone working in the same niche as yours. Because they might be individuals who are interested in the content that you provide. Similarly, like the posts of other business accounts on Instagram who are having a few amount of followers. Remember the kid who smiled back at Dezi?2.) Shout out for Shout out :People do wave back when you wave at them! In the same way, people do give shout outs when you do the same for them. But, keep in mind that their number of followers must not be a lot more than you.3.) Start Interacting :Try to post interactive pictures and videos. For example, tag a friend posts, story polls, story Q&A, etc. The more you communicate with your audience, the more they will be engaged in your content.4.) Join Groups (Support Team):Dezi’s group of friends constantly upheld him. Likewise, joining groups on Instagram who have the same or similar business as you, can help a lot. Groups work as support teams and help in lifting you along with them.5.) Contests/Lucky Draws/Giveaways:Gift and present never fail to make the other person feel special, it strengthens the bond. You can conduct various contests and some cool giveaways for your followers which helps to increase the engagement on your posts and also helps in retaining the existing audience.6.) Hire an Influencer:At present, the trend of influencer marketing is on its peak and just like Dezi, you might also need “Influe” who already has a large audience that might be interested in your business. For example, contact a fashion influencer if you have a clothing business, hire a fitness influencer if you sell supplements or health-related products, etc. Choosing the right influencer is the most important thing.7.) Collaborations:What Colla and Dezi did together would have never been possible if they performed individually. Collaborate with someone who completes you or acts a complementary to your products/services/content.Conclusion:This was our Instagram follower growth guide that can help you to gain Instagram followers initially and to flood up your notification panel. We hope this was helpful. If you need any digital marketing assistance, feel free to contact us (dezignape@gmail.com). We provide digital marketing services like social media marketing, web development, web design, search engine optimization, etc..

But a turning point in their lives sets them apart, with their soul still united and strong. Experience a roller coaster of emotions in this story. Find out how Sushil changed into a successful person from an ordinary boy.My TakeStarting from the title of the book You Are the best thing That Happened to Me gives the hint’s to readers it’s going to be a love story. The title is apt according to the plot.  It’s been said that never judge a book cannot be judged by looking at its cover alone but I personally feel cover can be much better to catch attraction among readers. The story starts with an award function where our protagonist Sushil Pandit receives an award for best employee of the year 2016. Sushil Pandit is a mechanical engineer by profession and author of two bestselling novels. He has achieved everything in life except the love of his life. After the function on his way to home he happens to meets Anuradha a journalism student who doing some research on authors. Anuradha wants to know more about Sushi’s life after achieving everything in life he is incomplete.  Then the story enters into the flashback memories of when he was in school. Sushil joins a coaching center with his friends to improve grades in subject. There he meets Anjali for the first time and felt attracted towards her. Later Anjali and Sushil become best friends who can understand each other well. Sushil was confused with his feelings towards Anjali is it love or attraction? Ashish and Anjali are they both equally important to him he can’t even think of losing one for other. On the other hand Ashish had a crush on Anjali. To know more what happened next to Sushil read the book. The author had beautifully weaved the struggles of every middle class family, the family bonding, surprise birthday celebration of Anjali at tuition center, hang outs with friends, decision to choose between career and love, struggles after college, job hunt and many more incidents. I love how cunning crafted the mother and sons bonding.Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. A book which won’t require the use of a dictionary, a book which evens an amateur reader would love to get indulged in. The pace of the story is slow and kept dragging at some time. The characters are well developed and one can easily relate them.  Narration of the book is simple and engaging. A few typographical errors here and there need to be rectified. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much better. If the Hindi dialogues were translated into English it was much better since everyone will not able to understand it.I recommend this book to the readers who are seeking for a quick read or a light-hearted romantic novel.Overall 3/5 StarsGrab the copy here- Amazon |FlipkartAbout the AuthorSushil Kumar Rana is a Mechanical Engineer work in an MNC company in Odisha.
