Dear members of the male species,I’m sure you’ve heard about the re-energized feminist movement. I’m sure some of you even support it. I also think that the meaning of ‘Feminism’, the crux of what this movement is about is also lost on a lot of people. The media and the public have made it seem like a dirty word. I assure you it’s not. It still stands for equality of the two sexes as it always has and forever will. Anyway, this is not the reason why I’m writing what I am today. I am writing to tell you that I’m sorry. I’m sorry if, in all this ado, you felt lost somewhere because honestly, I can’t imagine being in your place nor do I ever wish to. At this point in time, everyone knows that females face problems and there are steps being taken to eradicate them and if not, at least people are aware and are talking about it. It’s much different for you, I’ve seen. No one talks about how you too can be a victim of sexual assault or rape. No one talks about how you feel depressed. No one talks about how hard it is to bear the brunt of the society. Be masculine. Open jars. Pay bills. Plan Great Big romantic Gestures even if you are an introvert because it’s your job! Don’t cry, don’t wear pink, don’t show your emotions, love your friends but don’t hug the male ones, don’t wax your arms or legs or eyebrows because personal grooming takes a backseat when it comes to fitting in with societies idea of the ultimate male. I’m here to tell you it’s okay. You deserve to be loved. You deserve to be able to express how you feel and do what you want. Maybe you are not restricted, maybe you can roam alone at night and your parents won’t mind, maybe you can go where ever you want without thinking too much but you are not free either. You have rules imposed upon you. You will be ridiculed if you want to go in a profession which is predominantly women oriented and these are only some of the examples. I have a vision of a utopia where there are no boundaries, no rules, no gender stereotyping, only freedom. I hope my words give you a sense of security and understanding and know that I believe in you. Let’s change this world one person at a time. Let’s change this world by being there for each other. Let’s change this world with SheForHe.Love and admiration,The fairer sex(or so I’ve been told)
In last few years, I have had the opportunity to work as a coach with many women leaders and women coaches. Many of them are ambitious and want to grow in their careers, but feel that they don’t have role models to look at. This point has also been raised quite a few times during the gender diversity discussions.I agree, and I think the whole world would acknowledge the lack of enough woman leaders. There is a lot of diversity buzz going on with a target to solve this problem, it will happen one day, but you do not have the luxury to wait. Come on. Don’t wait to look for the role model. Be the role model instead, fill in this vacuum and resolve the problem for others like you!Don’t know where to begin? Let me outline a few quick steps that can help you climb up the Career Ladder:1. Take charge - Tell yourself you are going to be the role model.2. Decide on your career goals – Ask yourself –a. What do you want to achieve in next 3 years?b. What do you achieve in next 1 year?c. What are the 3 things you need to this this quarter?d. What are the 3 things you need to do this month and next month?3. Decide on your other priorities (non-career) for short term specially – 6 months to 1 year.a. What are the other priorities/goals (from other spheres of life)?b. Prioritizing these goal/priorities, pick top 3.c. Make an action plan of what needs to be done for these.d. What can come in the way? Is there a conflict with your career goals? Just look at 1-year career goals.e. If yes, how well prepared you are to handle conflict of goals?f. List down if you need any external support?g. Enlist people who help you on your challenges! Remember, you have a support system that you can lean on!4. Create a list career enablersa. Get a Mentor at work (if possible multiple Mentors!) i. Seek people who can support you to achieve your goals.b. Create a Learning path i. Look for enabling assignments.c. Invest in yourself i. Take a training program. ii. Sign up a coach. iii. Hire a house help if that helps.Note down everything else that may help you to achieve your goals (Career and Non-Career) and then invest in every support system that will help you. 5. Create list of the relationships you need to createWhat relationships you would need to create to reach your goals? It may include creating a business connect with other head of departments, Industry body etc. You may need to create a stronger relationship with another friend/relative who can help you for a few hours on those child-sick days. You are the one who knows what goes here. 6. Create your elevator pitch!Always have a 60 second elevator pitch of what you do and what difference are you making in your current role. 7. Go and Act: Make an action plan for sure but don’t just plan and re-plan, Act! Else all will fail! Do some actionable every single day, even small progress is good progress. 8. Acknowledge yourselfa. Reward yourself for every small win.b. Be ready with a list of rewards for yourself if you completed what you need to do!c. You are your own motivation! You bet it is not easy, but know that every journey begins with the first step. Go ahead, take that first step and be the change you want to see.
This is some real talk about the ways of Vagina and here it goes...No one ever told you anything about it other than the vaginal orgasm shit. You came up with a million ways to call me a slut. Well, I know I'm a bitch. But you ain't getting any, so fuck that. What do you mean when you say that "I don't behave like a girl"? So what if I am not a "wife material". Its none of your business, who I fuck or how late I stay out. Mind your own business and get the fuck out. You can't touch this, but chastity can go to hell. Its not happening without my consent. And I don't need a man anyway. I fight my own battles, don't need no prince to work it out. Women choose their own paths, I am down with that.Don't forget to check your privilege. Education, employment ain't available to all. Workplace harassment, this shit's real, y'all. Your man doesn't use a condom? Tell him to fuck off. Unexpected pregnancy? You are on your own now. Had a baby? Your baby's daddy still a baby himself. You have to clean the house and give on-demand blowjobs. Or else your man cheats and they say its your fault. Mama says "suck it up, you are a girl" but why does my brother gets the jackpot? Dudes be running around topless, no one gets offended. I go braless and get raped, I have "asked for it". All because I have a Vagina. The bloody fountain of life. The root of pleasure, ain't nobody's wife. A shout-out to vaginas and sex positivity. Liberate them, it ain't dirty.Gender equality now!! I'm no one's property starting now!! I ain't following no man starting now!! I'mma find my own worth, starting now!!VAGINA PROPER NOW!!

A girl/women is the most complicated species on the planet earth. Well we all can agree to that..!! Have you ever seen a jumbled rubix cube? Yes exactly.. that is how a women's brain should look like. The are zillion self contradicting thoughts going on all the time. There is family, work, food, sex(yes we do think about sex..less then food though).Let me start with the most complicated one's first: LOVE ♥Our love for family is surreal, its like you touch my family and i will kill you. When it comes to the love of other gender, its very easy for us to get attracted to someone, but really difficult to keep holding the attraction and we always make the first move. Guys may think that they have initiated it but actually it just our dirty little mind games we like to play in the starting of a relationship. A girl always knows the next move of a guy & decides weather to encourage it or diminish it. A yes is always a yes for us but you need to concentrate on the NO. It may be a firm no, or a no which means maybe yes, or a no where you need to persuade a little to make it yes.Anger/Depression/Crying all of these go hand in hand. It starts with anger, changes to depression with time and the final result is crying to take it all off your chest. Though alcohol plays a part too in making things more miserable or may be lighter(depends on the amount of consumption).Well the last but not the least most prominent thing on a girl's head : Jealousy why god why? why didn't you made me thinner like my sister. You do tina has bigger boobs not me? why am i not as fair as kareena? why are hairs not as straight as neha? Well it never ends. This list goes on and on and on. Nonetheless we can never sustain in a world without girls and neither do we want so. #werock#dontmindme#loveall#smblogcontest
I love, love, love watching crime shows and love more Nordic noir and the temperamental detective, where the moods are as erratic and dark as the plot. Here is a list of a few I watched over the last year which has strong female leads. A few of them are incredibly edge of the seat with a fantastic plot and cast to execute them. And thankfully, the women at the center are not seeking or falling in love with the nearest good-looking man as a respite from (and sometimes at the cost of) their detective duties. They are middle-aged with children or are single and unapologetic about it, much flawed and human, yet brilliant and unwavering in their goal. Check them out and let me know others. This genre, I wish, would grow in multitudes1.The Fall: Gillian Anderson returns to the small screen as Stella Gibson and how brilliant is she? We know both the hunted and the hunter in this slow, moody, psychological thriller and yet, the cat and mouse game is less than predictable. The plot: when a Belfast murder remains unsolved, Stella Gibson (Anderson) is brought in to catch the killer. DSI Gibson soon fears that a murder spree is underway in Belfast and a killer is on the loose. An equally brilliant Jamie Dornan plays serial killer Paul Spector whose identity is known within a few minutes of the first episode, but hey, watch it and tell me if that makes it any less exciting.2. The Killing: Who killed Rosie Larsen (and other questions answered). The Killing is based on the Danish television series Forbrydelsen (The Crime) and stars Detective Sarah Linden and her loyal love-to-hate-you-hate-to-love-you sidekick Stephen Holder (I admit, I fell a bit in love with the damaged piece that was him by the end of it). Each episode ends with a cliffhanger that points of a possible killer who doesn’t turn out to be the one in the next (but of course!). In essence, the show follows the investigation of the murder of local teenager Rosie Larsen but is intertwined with others: the police investigation into the murder, the Larsen family's attempts to deal with their grief, and the fluctuating electoral fortunes of a political campaign that becomes embroiled in the case.3. Happy Valley: Oh, how much do I LOVE BBC’s crime productions? There are five on this list (barring The Killing) and I say without hesitation they have mastered the art (or science or what have you). Happy Valley is set in the Calder Valley and Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) plays a strong-willed police sergeant, still coming to terms with the suicide of her daughter, Becky, eight years earlier. She is now bringing up Becky's young son, Ryan, the product of rape. Catherine hears that Tommy Lee Royce, the man responsible for the brutal rape that impregnated Becky and drove her to suicide shortly after Ryan was born, is out of prison after serving eight years for drug charges. Catherine becomes obsessed with finding Royce, unaware that he is involved in the kidnapping of a young girl—Ann Gallagher. Things get worse as the kidnappers try to hide their tracks and Catherine grows neurotically persistent.4. Vera: Based on the Vera Stanhope novels by bestselling author Ann Cleeves, Vera (starring Brenda Blethyn in the titular role) is an employee of the fictional Northumberland and City Police. She is obsessive about her work and driven by her own demons. She plods along in a constantly disheveled state but has a calculating mind, and despite her irascible personality, she cares deeply about her work and comrades (-- from Wikipedia). Everything about her screams motherly and cantankerous, yet she is a formidable force to watch. And you will grow very fond of her by the end of it.5. The Honourable Woman: Not a detective series this but I couldn’t help adding it to the list. THW is a political spy thriller which is so nail-bitingly good, you have to watch now. It features Maggie Gyllenhaal in the title role (isn’t that the new, happy trend: small screen revival projects for the out-of-work or fading big screen stars?). She won a Golden Globe for it. Totally deserved, may I add? Gyllenhaal plays Anglo-Jewish businesswoman Nessa Stein who eight years earlier became the new head of the Stein Group after her brother abruptly stepped down. As she continues her work to maintain the Middle East peace process, old secrets come to the fore and bodies pile up. The stakes are raised high when Kasim, the son of Atika, Nessa's friend as well as Ephram Stein's Palestinian housekeeper, is kidnapped.6. Top of the Lake: Okay, to be honest, this is not one of my favorites. I thought the plot fell a bit flat towards the end. But the characters and the settings are quirky and unique and the whimsical style of storytelling reasons enough to watch. The drama stars Elizabeth Moss (someone I admired in Mad Men and will, till the end of life, know as Peggy Olson). She plays Detective Robin Griffin, a Sydney police officer returning to her remote New Zealand hometown of Laketop, facing the crimes surrounding the pregnancy and disappearance of a local 12-year-old girl, Tui.7. Spiral (Engrenages): Another one to add to the list is the French BBC Drama - Spiral: Engrenages - broadcast on Canal+. It stars two powerful female characters: a quirky, obsessed, but brilliant female Police Captain Laure Berthaud, and a ruthless, corrupt and beautiful female lawyer Joséphine Karlsson, both caring less about the many feathers they ruffle. These female characters are primary to the plot and rarely was their gender invoked in relation to their job role or position of power. This feminist observation apart, the 12 part series is gripping: the characters etched out in great detail (I felt for each of them in their individual disasters and triumphs), their relationships and challenges realistic, and the three subplots cleverly executed and tied together. A minor quibble was the need to look at the subtitles constantly, but I swear by end of it I could speak a little bit of French myself.8. Marcella: Err... another British television crime noir detective series. Yeah, mea culpa, but I do like them so much! They are astonishingly atmospheric—a trait I look for in everything I read or watch—the cast and setting need to grow on me. The series stars Anna Friel as Marcella Backland, a former London detective who is asked to return to work to investigate an unsolved case from eleven years ago involving an unidentified serial killer who appears to have become active again. What I love best is she is un-coplike, almost vulnerable and thus, very relatable. Series 2 started airing in Feb, 2018 and I can’t wait for it to come to Netflix.Homeland and House of Cards are the other two wildly popular series with strong female leads. Might I also dare add Game of Thrones season 6? Finally, we have women sailing to conquer worlds and play both the hero and the villain. We have come a long way.But you know what else I wish for now? That the victims of these murders are not women! YES, let’s write a book or make a TV series where the victims of the serial killer is not a WOMAN? Yes, yes, please? I know, we make a pretty picture no matter what, but let’s not have any more cowering and whimpering. Just for a change.About the writer: Smita Bhattacharya is an author based out of Mumbai. She has a particular soft spot for psychological thriller novels and TV series. Her latest novel, Dead to Them, was released in January 2018 and is currently garnering rave reviews. Her other two books, He Knew a Firefly and Vengeful, have ranked among the top 100 Asian Literature & Fiction on Amazon. Several of her short stories have appeared in Indian and international publications over the years, making her a very happy person indeed. More about her at: www.smitabhattacharya.com
HOUSE HUSBAND----A MATTER OF PRIDE ….OR A NEW CHALLENGEAncient sayings and proverbs glorified the marriage and relationships to great extents. Like, a girl must stay in home and cook, look after the needs of family, while a guy’s work was to earn money and support the family financially. As days passed by, both of them started working and sharing all their works to lead a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle. They needed to save amount for their future too.And now, role reversal is at its peaks. Heavy works, night shifts, tight deadlines, both men and women are capable of everything today. A new trend in recent years is the concept of 'house husband'.. Imagine, a guy staying at home, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes and managing the entire home. How cool it is!! But it isn't as cool as you imagine. Reality is far different from the beautiful imagination one dreams of. A lot of drawbacks come along with this innovative new trend. Yes, even while seeking suggestions for this write up, a few people asked me the same question " Why can't this happen? Many years back, girls stayed at home, taking care of everything. Now why can't guys do the same? Let guys too enjoy the comfort of home for a few years." The point here is not just about the comfort of home or role reversal. It's about sharing responsibilities and staying together.Okay, let's take a stand between both, a house wife and a house husband. A house wife wakes up early, cooks for the family, helps her family members in getting ready and completes any petty works if any. Rest of the day, till her family members return home, she is free. She doesn't have any compulsory task to complete. In the evening, her routine works begin again. What does she do in the meanwhile? In specific, how does she spend the time from 10- 3? A lot of options are there. Gardening, reading, craft works, even watching television serial is considered a decent hobby nowadays. She could learn new stuffs, even new recipes to cook or an idea of getting a new friend even wouldn’t be that bad. Anyhow she would make the best use of her time. Now imagine a house husband. He does the same work in the mornings and evenings as a house wife does. But the mean time?? How could he make the best use of this time? Obviously, many activities are there. But remember the basic psychological fact, a guy cannot stay in the same place for hours together. Even in our homes we have examples. A girl child would stay at home playing with dolls for the whole day. But a boy can't stay at home even for two or three hours completely.( we all would have experienced this even by our own self.)See, we can't blame guys here. Basically, they are gifted with strong physical and mental strength than women. That is why, they are unable to put all their energy within their home. They are basically designed so. And coming to the point, a house husband goes around the city for the whole day, roaming here and there. What would happen eventually? His wife would be struggling in office and he would be casually going here and there. Would it look nice??Another major constraint is money. The earning man gives his salary to his wife and she allocates money for all expenses. That is the practice in most of the homes today. A man may earn in lakhs, but the proper planning and investment can only be done by a girl. So a housewife can easily allocate money for her expenses. But in the case of house husband, a man's ego and self respect would get hurt to great extents if he asks his wife for money. It's not an issue. Not just guys, every human being, after a certain age, wants to be independent or wants the money to be in their hands. Asking money for getting a newspaper or even a cool drink would be awkward. Coming to personal thoughts, a guy can come home late night after work, he can go anywhere, no need of suspecting him (90% cases, women don't suspect or shout). But a guy staying at home while his wife doing night shift, is not that applicable. Seeds of suspicion and doubt would automatically come after a certain period of time. Last and the least bothersome issue is our society. Our society would blame everything. "A girl or guy, whomever it may be, they shouldn't stay at home." A statement given by so called 'social people'. And that can be completely ignored. Coming to the other perspectives, it will be completely new to try out such stuffs. And experimenting that will give an enriching experience too. Remember the days when women spoke of bringing a new change and started working. Like the same, this could turn out to be a beautiful bond. But a great risk in this relationship is, ' a guy must never opt to be a house husband just because he didn't clear his arrears or that he can't get a job. This is not a new try. This is just another way of escaping from one's duties and responsibilities’. And believe it, this would make his life terrible. Because deep in his mind, he would get fixed like he is capable of nothing but household chores. And if he ever feels difficulty in his work as a house husband, then his great imagination has higher chances of becoming a night mare.Mutual understanding, care and concern, trust, promises hold a greater place in this relationship. Suspicion, doubt, inferiority complex are common for both genders. It's all about how a person tackles it and how he responds to people. If guys of their age earn in lakhs and have a car or home of their own, then house husbands should be in a position to give them apt replies instead of making their own selves feel inferior. And he should let go off his ego before asking for money or anything. Always keep in mind, you have become a house husband out of your own wish, not anyone else’s.Remember, people would talk with you, behind you and about you, either in a good or bad way. You cannot paste their mouths, instead you can change your own perspective. And, a point should be always taken into consideration. Men are blessed with stronger abilities only to support women, be it a house husband or a working person. Being a house husband should not push him to heights of laziness and a wonderful zone of comfort.Life is all about challenges. A person with a proper vision and goal towards future, one who is willing to set new trends, someone who is adaptable to changes and more importantly a man who is willing to take up job again, if something goes wrong, can experiment with this bond. New stuffs generally take time. Once you have taken a decision, just go with it. but always remember, becoming a house husband should be a matter of choice and consent, not of escapism and laziness.....#smblogcontest
Being Indian, some news brings you shame. This kind of news is one of them. In 21st CE, Where the whole world watches us with their understanding of this century shamed us for such gender discrimination. In distance village of Rajasthan, Banswara. Few NGO went and found that there is a tradition for women. In this tradition, women eat after his male partner and family. eventually, NGO found that it is gender discrimination and they started to educated women groups. Ironically, Many parts of India these kinds of practice is social norms. These kinds of practice have been unchanged in many decades. Many people saw them as regressive practice or culture which comes from Hinduism but for few of them, it’s only outdated tradition which must go as we live in the 21st Century. For Original article please go throw the below mention link:When women stopped eating leftovers?Irrespective of many arguments that this behavior comes from the patriarchal culture of Indian society, I disagree with this notion. I don’t think so original and fundamental culture of India was male patriarchal in nature. All original scripture which has founded Hinduism agreed on one simple fact:“Women should be worship like Goddess and Their respect brings Devas (deities) into the home”. (Paraphrased from Manusmriti)There are several examples where we Indians celebrated the world most taboo things. Sex (Kamasutra is one of the celebrated book in Indian culture about sex) symbols and position. There is temple which is dedicated to sex and sexual posture. I don’t find that people were having about watching these images together.Khajuraho images which show various posture of sexual activities. (Source: The Wire)So how can a society which gives sex (A widely accepted taboos in all Abrahamic religion) images a place in their temple has become such regressive that they were not allowing women to eat together? It simply baffled me.More than half (51%) of all Indian women of reproductive age have anemia, according to the Global Nutrition report 2017. While our women are not allowed to eat properly. This is a shame situation. But as I was expecting, few readers who have novice understanding about everything had tried to link it with North Indian states, few consider that it’s the fault of Hinduism and few consider that it’s due to our society which has regressive structure.I would like to remind all Indians, It is our burden to remove such practices out of the window and the real reason for such discrimination practice amongst women has nothing to do with Hinduism or It’s ancient culture. For understanding that women position in Indian society please go throw my blog:Women In Hinduism – Part OneWomen in Hinduism.(Wikipedia)We must need to accept that after Mugal invasion (I am not blaming here Mugal but the patriarchy culture they bring in India) our culture has been decayed and it is not inline with our scripture which gives women freedom, allow them social and civil rights. Slowly the local practices turn out to be more patriarchy. But I would like to share an example, which no Indian can be denied and that is the proof that still Indian culture have not inhibit complete patriarchy. When I was a kid. My father used to hard work. I have seen him giving complete salary to my mother (who was the housewife and earn nothing). I have seen him asking money from my mother for his daily expanse. This is the story of millions Hindus household. I never have seen such practice in other culture. Male used to keep all money and give a small number of women for their need. But the above mention practice is a popular culture amongst Hindu family which shows that financial owner of the family is “Women”, They have been termed as “DhanLaxmi” or “Finance Ministers”.So, In my point of view. This kind of practice happening because of Illiteracy. We need a massive drive of literacy (Dharmic and Modern). We need to teach people what they are doing is against of their culture and Modern values.Only Education and Social awareness can bring the change we want. Abusing a culture (which certainly no one understands because of its complexity) is novice attempt to shed of responsibilities. Blaming mindless way will help no one.We must not forget what Upanishads told us about eating habit in the family:And if a man wishes that a learned daughter should be born to him, and that she should live to her full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with sesamum and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring. And if a man wishes that a learned son should be born to him, and that he should live his full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with meat and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring.— BRIHADARANYAKA UPANISHAD 6.4.17 – 6.4.18,The irony with Indians is that We are being more animal after leaving our dharma education. It is time when we bring back the dharmic culture back to our society.
Women working as the top-notch executives in the men dominated the corporate world are just not responsible executives, wives, and mothers but they also play an important role of being a role model for millions of young women aspiring to make it big in the corporate world without compromising on their families. They are often interviewed by the journalists to share their experience on maintaining a healthy balance between work and their most responsible role of being a mother. Their experiences act as a respite for the working women who often feel guilty for not having done enough and not being always present for their children due to their professional commitments. In the changing scenarios, we have numerous prominent women setting trends in the industry, however, let’s have a sneak peek on the lives of three topmost women honchos essaying the role of an ardent professional and a mother with the equal fervor and their advice to women across the world. In her interview with David Bradley, the PepsiCo global CEO Indra Nooyi candidly shares her experience of essaying the role of a mother and a CEO. Nooyi says that honestly, women can’t have it all. One has to often choose between both the work and family and compromise somewhere in between but having a supportive family and office staff has helped her to create a healthy work-life balance between work and her family. She says as she and her husband both have hectic corporate profiles, they both plan their lives together meticulously to maximally fulfill their duties as parents to two daughters. Similarly, the candid and beautiful letter of Chandana Kochar, CEO of ICICI Bank to her daughter has recently been doing rounds in the social media circles wherein Kochar too has emphasized the importance and need of a supportive family for creating a harmonious balance between work and family. In her letter, she tells her daughter that children having working parents have great advantages of growing up independent and responsible from a very young age as parents set examples for them since their childhood days. She beautifully shares her journey and experience since losing her father at a young age and seeing her mother toiling hard to provide them an excellent upbringing and her eventually making it as one of the most powerful and successful CEO of the largest private bank in India. She tells her daughter that her successful career wouldn’t have been possible without an ardent commitment to her work and a supportive family hence accentuating the need of strong family bonds and the importance of playing the role of a mother, wife, daughter, and a CEO with equal fervor. Naina Lal Kidwai, the powerful Country Head and Group Manager of HSBC Bank is known as the first Indian women breaking the stereotypes. In a candid interview, Naina says that she has faced with the dilemma and pressure of leaving a lucrative career when she conceived her first child. But audaciously she chose both ensuring to break industry stereotype by creating a gender-neutral working environment and nurturing her family without making them feel overlooked. Maps And Mother Goddesses in Modern India”,Imago Mundi, Vol 53 pp. 97-11by Sumathy Ramaswamy; “Death of a Kotwal”, The Caste Question pp.241-264 by Anupama RaoThe scales of shapes and skills remain balanced so long there is a constant urge to take action through acts and thoughts. Borrowing evidences from the texts from The Death of A Kotwal and Maps and Mother Goddesses of India, this paper argues how bodies produce knowledge. It lurks around the former where an innocent Kotwal is bludgeoned to death and the latter provides for a bodyscape which helped unite India. This paper reflects how irrespective of the existence of materials, constant interactions in the society can lead to formation of perceptions and abstractions. NON LIVING PARTICIPATION IN ACTIONBodies are known to be the hub for interactions and debates. Apart from their physical realities, in a rut to fight and provide evidence, humans intensify the meaning of the non-existential bodies to make them exist. Rao, in her paper explains the helplessness of the family and the Dalit community after Sawane’s virtual corpse is put under the eyes of the law. The case expedites when it is scrutinized deeply and Rao mentions, “The addition of the PCR Act’s Section 3(x)was mandatory and signaled that the case merited extra care as an atrocity”(243). The idea of the investigation of a dead body by another body in power(legislation) sensationalized the tiff in hand. This case was chalked out as an exception from all of the Anti-Dalit discriminations, because of its gruesome severity. Ramaswamy supporting this argument in her essasy argues reflects how soma (body) of a woman can be utilized for representing a map, to awaken the depressed patriots of India. She says, “These gendered bodyscapes also enable the viewing of the nation’s territory possessively, even pleasurably”(109). Considering maps of margins and boundaries incapable of provocation of any belongingness, she intensifies the need and power of embodiment. Such bodyscapes hence acted like moderators between different ideologies to brew a collective revolution.Man’s constant attempt to question and frame an individual to gain attention has made his instinct for differing between the real and unreal blind. The once real, body of the Kotwal and the virtual Mother India, both created by man are not hotplate for discussion and representations.STRUCTURES TO ABSTRACTIONSBodies are meant to provide a structure and materialize the abstractions. However their state of living existence may be, bodies never cease to engender knowledge and awareness. When put under a magnifying glass of human perceptions, one views different from the other. Rao expresses how the location of the village was harmless yet a catastrophe occurred. As the case progressed it was found out that apart from being Dalit and follower of Ambedkar, he was also the gate keeper for his area. Rao writes, “Living outside the village boundaries, the mahar veskar is the outsider figure who protects the integrity of the village social unit” (258). Sawane wasn’t only a material body, but upon his death,a lot of humanity and responsibilities failed which remained unnoticed.Sumathy Ramaswamy too expresses how blank cartographical representations of their progressing nation once looked at differently, livened up. The body of the mother goddess as a map now, calls for national urge to freedom. She writes “They invite the citizen subject who gazes upon them to relate the nation not as some abstract, dead geographical space but as a near and dear person, his personal goddess, his vulnerable mother, even a beloved lover “(110). One couldn’t have imagined the power of abstract images with bodies to shake the restlessness in the nation and make them aware about their surroundings. These perceptions help build studies of knowledge and emotion amongst people who are witnessing the action. Hence to attain the key of all the knowledge of interest from a body, one must seep through all the roots of the body and decipher all its actions and emotions it represent for others before making quick judgments. It is only then when our deductions will surpass the normal overview of bodies, that we will take a leap into the world of actual reality.KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGES ON THE BASIS OF PERCEPTIONSCo-existing with other humans in the universe leads to various perceptions and ideas to be built around the body. The way he moves, his actions, his speech, all comes into consideration when there is an observer or listener who symbolizes his being with respect to own life. On one hand, Rao reflects the importance of politics in the society, on the other,Ramaswamy talks about the status of the female community through her work. The latter writes on behalf of many and says “feminist geographers have suggested that the conception of the nation as cartographically female enables a ‘masculinist’ relationship to the place”(109).In their purview, such kind of bodyscaping was centralized so men could join arms and perform righteous duties towards the vulnerable mother nation. On a similar note, Rao reflects how ideas taken from the perception of Dalit communities and Ambedkar’s role as a political leader helped shape the judgment. She resounds the case progressions and says, “Kharkov distinguished two forms of phenomenal violence: new violent caste social displayed in conflict around Ambedkar statue and retaliatory counter violence that reinstated Dalits’ stigmatized status” (255). This knowledge became crucial in understanding and refining the position of the Dalit kotwal and his ambition of constructing a statue of Ambedkar. The distress of the Dalit community and their political representative from the past, would not have come under notice if there was no action amidst communities. The analysis that came in effect after continuous actions and perceptions made in societies would not have been produced without the continuous expulsion of knowledge from the bodies. It is due to such their status in the society and such symbolic representations, that we can extrapolate their relationships and achievements in the past.Humans, often involuntarily make decisions keeping in mind other people’s existence in their life and their effects. As goes their anatomy, knowledge can never be separated alone from the way they occupy space. This space however need not be tangible or visible, for what matters more is the influence created by it. By their own will, the bodies spout a river of emotions and actions in due course of their life. As they interact, the by products become adaptable and appreciable by the people over who he has the influence. Now this influence can be used to target a set of people or a notion, it can be used as a boon or a bay, or a tool or weapon. These assumptions about perceptions, extraction of reality from abstractions too are caused by an exchange in ideas and thoughts over time in space. Hence so I believe that bodies are more than occupants of the earth, they exceed their limits and become unique walls of creative knowledge.
One of the finest actors in the Indian Cinema, known for his versatile and natural acting. He has also worked in British films and Hollywood films. His love for the art of cinema knew no boundaries of culture or countries for that matter. 2017 Filmfare award for best actor for the role, The Padma Shri award- India's fourth highest civilian honor for his contribution to the field of arts. Irrfan Khan, known for changing and redefining the 'hero' perception in our country. His love for finding rare and incredible movies, unfortunately, is diagnosed with a rare disease- Neuroendocrine tumors. The Madaari fame actor updated his fans about his health via Twitter by posting a note that read: "Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has been admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes." This makes us wonder how and what is this disease. So, here is everything you need to know:What is Endocrine? The body’s endocrine system is made up of cells that produce hormones. Hormones are chemical substances that are carried through the bloodstream that have a specific effect on the activity of other organs or cells in the body.About endocrine and neuroendocrine tumorsA tumor begins when healthy cells change and grow out of control, forming a mass. A tumor can be cancerous or benign. A cancerous tumor is malignant, meaning it can grow and spread to other parts of the body if it is not found early and treated. A benign tumor means the tumor can grow but will not spread. A benign tumor usually can be removed without it causing much harm.An endocrine tumor is a mass that begins in the parts of the body that produce and release hormones. Because an endocrine tumor develops from cells that produce hormones, the tumor can also produce hormones. This can cause serious illness.A neuroendocrine tumor begins in the hormone-producing cells of the body’s neuroendocrine system, which is made up of cells that are a combination of hormone-producing endocrine cells and nerve cells. Neuroendocrine cells are found throughout the body in organs such as the lungs and gastrointestinal tract, including the stomach and intestines.Types of neuroendocrine tumorsThere are many types of neuroendocrine tumors. Mainly of 3 specific types: pheochromocytoma, Merkel cell cancer, and neuroendocrine carcinoma. Pheochromocytoma is a rare tumor. This type of tumor increases the production of the hormones adrenaline and noradrenaline, which increase blood pressure and heart rate. Even though a pheochromocytoma is usually benign, it may still be life-threatening because the tumor may release large amounts of adrenaline into the bloodstream after injury. Merkel cell cancer is a highly aggressive, or fast-growing, rare cancer. It starts in hormone-producing cells just beneath the skin and in the hair follicles. It is usually found in the head and neck region. Merkel cell cancer may also be called neuroendocrine carcinoma of the skin or trabecular cancer.Neuroendocrine carcinoma. Around 60% of neuroendocrine tumors cannot be described as anything other than “neuroendocrine carcinoma.” Neuroendocrine carcinoma can start in a number of places in the body, including the lungs, brain, and gastrointestinal tract.Overall, it is estimated that more than 12,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor each year. The 5-year survival rate of people with a neuroendocrine tumor varies and depends on several factors, including the type of neuroendocrine tumor and where the tumor is located. what factors may increase the chance of developing this disease. Neuroendocrine Tumor: Risk FactorsA risk factor is anything that increases a person’s chance of developing a tumor. Although risk factors often influence the development of a neuroendocrine tumor, most do not directly cause it. Some people with several risk factors never develop a tumor, while others with no known risk factors do. However, knowing your risk factors and talking about them with your doctor may help you make more informed lifestyle and health care choices. The following factors can raise a person's risk of developing a neuroendocrine tumor:Age. Pheochromocytoma is most common in people between the ages of 40 and 60. Merkel cell cancer is most common in people older than 70.Gender. Men are more likely to develop pheochromocytoma than women. For every 2 women who develop pheochromocytoma, 3 men will develop the disease. Men are also more likely to develop Merkel cell cancer than women.Race/ethnicity. White people are most likely to develop Merkel cell cancer; however, some black people and people of Polynesian descent develop the disease.Family history. Ten percent (10%) of pheochromocytomas are linked to hereditary, or genetic, causes. Immune system suppression. People with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus that causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), and people whose immune systems are suppressed because of an organ transplant have a higher risk of developing a neuroendocrine tumor.Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCV). Research indicates that there is a link between this virus and Merkel cell cancer. Arsenic exposure. Exposure to the poison arsenic may increase the risk of Merkel cell cancer.Sun exposure. Because Merkel cell cancer often occurs on the sun-exposed areas of the head and neck, many doctors think that sun exposure may be a risk factor for this type of cancer. The next section in this guide is Symptoms and Signs. It explains what body changes or medical problems this disease can cause.Sometimes, people with a neuroendocrine tumor do not have any of these changes. Or, the cause of a symptom may be another medical condition that is not cancer.Symptoms of pheochromocytomaHigh blood pressureAnxiety attacksFeverHeadachesSweatingNauseaVomitingClammy skinRapid pulseHeart palpitationsSymptoms of Merkel cell cancerPainless, firm, shiny lumps on the skin that can be red, pink, or blueSymptoms of neuroendocrine carcinomaHyperglycemia, which is a high level of glucose in the blood. Glucose is a sugar that is converted into energy by the body. Hyperglycemia causes frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger.Hypoglycemia, which is a low level of glucose in the blood. It causes fatigue, nervousness and shakiness, dizziness or light-headedness, sweating, seizures, and fainting.DiarrheaPersistent pain in a specific areaLoss of appetite or weight lossA cough or hoarseness that does not go awayThickening or lump in any part of the bodyChanges in bowel or bladder habitsUnexplained weight gain or lossJaundice, which is the yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyesUnusual bleeding or dischargePersistent fever or night sweatsHeadachesAnxietyGastric ulcer diseaseSkin rashSome people also experience nutritional deficiencies before a diagnosis, such as niacin and protein deficiency. Others develop this symptom later. If a neuroendocrine tumor is diagnosed, relieving symptoms remains an important part of your medical care and treatment.Doctors use many tests to find or diagnose, a tumor. They also do tests to learn if the tumor is cancerous and if so, if it has spread to another part of the body from where it started. For most types of tumors, a biopsy is the only sure way for the doctor to know whether an area of the body has cancer. In a biopsy, the doctor takes a small sample of tissue for testing in a laboratory. This list given below describes options for diagnosing this type of tumor. The type of tumor suspectedYour signs and symptomsYour age and medical conditionThe results of earlier medical testsIn addition to a physical examination, the following tests may be used to diagnose a neuroendocrine tumor:Blood/urine tests.- Urine tests check for increased levels of adrenaline in the body. Large amounts of adrenaline can be a sign of pheochromocytoma.X-ray.Computed tomography (CT or CAT) scan. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Biopsy- A biopsy is the removal of a small amount of tissue for examination under a microscope. Molecular testing of the tumor. Positron emission tomography (PET) or PET-CT scanLiving a Healthy lifestyle has become of utmost importance. Early detection of such diseases could save you from later complications and from harmful chemos and painful treatments. Till then, we can only pray and bestow our blessings on Irfaan Khan. We hope he returns in the pink of health and gets back to action very soon.#smblogcontest
World health dayThe World Health Day is celebrated on 7th of April every year. This day is celebrated for awareness of the global health. The World Health Day is been the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations. The World Health Organization (WHO) has there theme, slogan and hashtag for their organization are:Theme for World Health Day is: Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere The slogan is: “Health for All”. The primary hashtag that we are using is : #HealthForAll but look out for posts using #WorldHealthDay as well. The World Health Organization held the First World Health Assembly in the year 1948. The Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of each year, with effect from 1950 after 2 years, as the World Health Day. World Health Day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues, who also organize activities and highlight their support in media reports, such as the Global Health Council. The World Health organizes decided a particular theme for the international, regional and local events on this Day. They have the different theme every year related to their aspect. If we talk about the theme of the World Health Day then we have numbers of year passed with the different theme for the world. Every theme is related to securing your health with different problems. We are celebrating World Health Organization since 1948 till now, long 70 years. Recent themes that are been taken for this day they are; in the year 2014 the theme was taken on the disease Vector-borne meaning of this was a small bite, big threat. In the year 2015, the theme was taken Food safety so that people could eat healthy food. In the year 2016, the theme was taken Halt the rise, this was related to beat diabetes. a largely preventable and treatable non-communicable disease that is rapidly increasing in numbers in many countries, most dramatically in low- and middle-income countries. Simple lifestyle measures have been shown to be effective in preventing or delaying the onset of type 2 diabetes, including maintaining normal body weight, engaging in the regular physical activity, and eating a healthy diet. Diabetes can be controlled and managed to prevent complications through diagnosis, self-management education, and affordable treatment. The WHO estimates about 422 million people in the world have diabetes, with the disease the direct cause of some 1.5 million deaths. The goals of WHD 2016 are scaled up prevention, strengthen care, and enhance surveillance. In the year 2017 the theme was taken Depression: Let's talk because the condition affects people of all ages, from all walks of life, in all countries. It impacts on people’s ability to carry out everyday tasks, with consequences for families, friends, and even communities, workplaces, and health care systems. At worst, depression can lead to self-inflicted injury and suicide. A better understanding of depression – which can be prevented and treated – will help reduce the stigma associated with the illness, and lead to more people seeking help. Talking about the upcoming World Heath Day the theme has been decided is Universal Health Coverage. This topic has been taken so that they could cover all different type of problem of the people. The World Health Organization was founded on the principle that all people should be able to realize their rights to the highest possible level of health.“Health for all” has therefore been our guiding from 70 years. It’s also the impetus behind the current organization wide drive to support countries in moving towards the Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The organization will maintain a high profile focus on (UHC) events through 2018, starting on the World Health Day on 7th of April with global and local conversations about ways to archive health for all.So it has been decided that in this 70th anniversary year, World Health Organization is calling on the world leaders to live up to the pledges they made when they agreed on the Sustainable Development Goals in the year 2015, and commit to concrete steps to advance the health of all people. This means ensuring that everyone, everywhere can access essential quality health services without facing financial hardship. Experience has illustrated, time and again, that Universal Health Coverage is achieved when political will is strong. Throughout 2018, we aim to inspire UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by highlighting policymakers’ power to transform the health of their nation, framing the challenges as exciting and ambitious, and inviting them to be part of the change.Throughout 2018, we aim to Motivate UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by sharing examples of how countries are already progressing towards UHC and encourage others to find their own path.Throughout 2018, we aim to Guide UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by providing tools for structured policy dialogue on how to advance UHC domestically or supporting such efforts in other countries. If we talk about some of the countries have already made significant progress towards universal health coverage. But half of the world’s population is still unable to obtain the health services they need. If countries are to achieve the decided target, then one billion people need more to benefit from UHC by 2023.this is the achievement target year has been decided by the UHC.World Health Day will shine a spotlight on the need for UHC and the advantages it can bring. WHO and its partners will share examples of the steps to take to get there through a series of events and conversations held at multiple levels. As it has been said by the Director General “No one should have to choose between death and financial hardship. No one should have to choose between buying medicine and buying food.”Every people do not know that why this universal health day coverage matters for our countries? It is because the country that invites in UHC marks a sound investment in their human capital. In the recent years, UHC has emerged as a key strategy to make progress towards other health-related and border development goals. Access to essential quality care and financial protection not only enhance people’s health and life expectancy, it also protects countries from epidemics, reduces poverty and the risk of hunger, creates jobs, drives economic growth and enhances gender equality.Do everyone know that why World Health Day is been celebrated? World Health Day celebration focuses on increasing the life expectancy by adding good health to the lives of people and promoting healthier living habits. Youths of the new era are also targeted by this event to prevent and make them healthy to make the world healthy and free from AIDS and HIV.Disease spreading vectors like mosquitoes (malaria, dengue fever, filaria, chikungunya, yellow fever and etc), ticks, bugs, sand flies, snails and etc are also spotlighted by the WHO to make the world free from a wide range of diseases caused by parasites and pathogens. It provides better prevention and cure from the vector-borne diseases spread by vectors and travelers from one country to other. WHO supports various health authorities on global basis to make their own efforts for the public health problems to enhance better life without different diseases. It is generally done for the increase the public awareness of various causes and prevention of high blood pressure. So that they could give knowledge of getting prevented from various diseases and their complications. For encouraging the most vulnerable group of people to frequently check their blood pressure and follow medications from the professionals. The promotion of the self care among people. Motivate are the most important for the worldwide health authorities to make their own efforts in creating the healthy environments in their country. The protections of the families living in the disease vulnerable areas is necessary. We all celebrate World Health Day for our development of the body so that we could live healthy and safe life. Padma BhushanPadma Bhushan is known as the third highest civilian award in the Republic of India which was initiated by the Bharat Ratna and the Padma Vibushan which was followed by Padma Shri. The Padma Shri was inaugurated on 2 January 1954. It is given for the performance of a distinguished service of a high order without variation in caste, gender, position or sex. The award seeks to recognize the work of anyone has done work of achievements and distinction in the different fields and disciplines like trade industry, sports, art, medicine, education, public affairs and much more. The criteria for the award include services in an area that includes services rendered by the Government servants including scientists and doctors. Though, it doesn’t consider those working with the public sector undertakings. The Prime Minister constitutes the Padma Awards Committee every year and the award recommendations are submitted between 1 st May to 15 September by the union and state territory governments, the Ministers of Government of India, Chief Ministers, Members of Parliament, Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibushan awardees and other private individuals. The suggestions are further submitted to the Prime Minister and The President for further approval by the committee members. The Padma Bhushan awards are announced on the eve of Republic Day on 26th of January every year. The award recipients of Padma Bhushan are recorded in The Gazette of India, a publication that is released every week by the Department of Publication. This publication is used by the Ministry Of Urban Development for government official notices. The award conferral is not considered official without its declaration in The Gazette. The award recipient whose awards are restored or revoked is also registered in The Gazette. Such actions are taken by the Government of India and such awardees are to surrender their medals when and if their names are struck from the register. The original specification of the Padma Bhushan was a circle which was made of standard silver with rims on both side and a lotus flower was centrally located with Padma Bhushan engraved in Devanagari script. Later on, the award was modified to a circular shaped bronze toned medal where the lotus is carved on the obverse side of the medal and the word the Padma is placed above the word Bhushan below the lotus in Devanagari script. The emblem of India is also placed with the text Satyamev Jayate written in Devanagari script. In the past, the Padma Bhushan and other prestigious awards were only given by the recommendations of the politicians or ministers but the government has now made it open for nomination. The suggestions for the awards are received online on the portal padmaawards.gov.in which is drafted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. There are a lot of unacknowledged real-life heroes who have done exceptional works in their respective fields and deserved such a national honor and respect. The recipients of Padma Bhushan award include Rajesh Khanna, Jagjit Singh, Aamir Khan, R.K. Narayan, Naseeruddin Shah, Satyajit Ray, Ratan Tata and many more. Recently on 2nd April 2018 Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of the most successful former captain of the Indian cricket team was conferred with the prestigious third highest civil honor, the Padma Bhushan. The award ceremony was coincidentally held on the seventh anniversary of the World Cup triumph, which turned out to be a happy coincidence for Dhoni. What brought the excitement to the next level is that the former captain of India who holds the rank of Honor Lieutenant Colonel was dressed up in his official military uniform and marched past the dignitaries who were present at the Rashtrapati Bhawan to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan from President Ram Nath Kovind. The 37-year-old former Indian captain is the second Indian cricketer to receive this honor after Kapil Dev. Dhoni has received a lot of awards before which includes the ICC ODI player of the year award in 2008 and 2009, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in 2007 and also the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honor in 2009. Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India won the 2011 ICC World Cup and also the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He was also the first captain to win all three ICC limited over trophies and also led India to top of the rankings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was nominated for the Padma Bhushan Awards by the BCCI with a unanimous decision for his excellent contribution in the field of cricket. Dhoni is considered as one of the most successful captains of the Indian Cricket Team. It was a very proud moment for all the Dhoni fans to watch him receive such a great honor. Along with Dhoni, Pankaj Advani was also awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan on 2nd April 2007 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan by the President Ram Nath Kovind. Advani is considered as the best snooker/billiards player to come out of India. Advani has won eight world titles in as many years and a total of 19. Pankaj Advani was nominated by the Billiards and Snooker Foundation of India. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri in 2009, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 2006 and Arjuna Award in 2004. He has held Asian, World and Indian National Championship titles simultaneously. He is known as India’s first World Champion in the 6 red-snooker.However, some bestowals of Padma Bhushan have been returned or refused by the recipients due to national interest or personal reasons. The first person to refuse the Padma Bhushan was Sisir Kumar Bhaduri, Bengali theatre activists in 1959 due to personal reasons. Some famous refusals included Vilayat Khan, Romila Thapar, Sitara Devi, Salim Khan, and Phanishwarnath Renu. Padma Bhushan awards are renowned awards that are a given as a token of appreciation to the citizens of our country to glorify the work contributed by them and to inspire the future generations to thrive towards the progression of our country by excelling in their talents but we should also remember that the awards should not be taken as an outright rationale behind the work as it is the hard work and skill of an individual that is remembered.
Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Who’s the fairest of them all?Fairy tale to Fiction logue, all have been a proof of experiential thoughts to which a human mind can exercise imagination and bring it to reality.Out of many such virtually realistic ideas, how humans perceive themselves to be is a whole stream of consciousness. Especially when it comes to the subject of personalities, history is evident of humans going to unparalleled stretches to satisfy a set paradigm of looks, intelligence and emotions. One of the most staunch realities of people trying to fit in the ‘convention’ that they set for themselves, exist in the track record of how people perceive the image of their Bodies. The most fascinating fact is that unlike in situations where the question is “how is my dress today?”, in body image issues, the questions change to, “how am I today?”. And there in minutes to change words and thoughts, they start doubting not the material but their existence and what they represent to the outer world. This in turn portrays how they think of themselves as this constant representation of the Self leads to a situation of mirror surroundings and influence how they feel about themselves.Body image consciousness is a phenomenon which occurs mostly when there becomes a certain concern extra concern for the individual outside than the individual inside. Over due course of time people have encountered numerous methods of tackling these issues. Sometimes they stem from the standards set by the society, sometimes they rise up out of self expectation. Few industries, majorly Fashion and the cinema industry, have seen individuals going to lengths to deal with body image issues and how they want to be perceived in this industry. Because of the rise of show biz, it became important for people to feel good, show good and take care of their bodies. The industry itself has putten up standards and stereotypes on beauty, talent and style. Through which the stars gaining up to fame and being in the eyes of a larger audience was integral to their performance. Many of these stars had influences in the public so much so, that they wanted to adopt their lifestyle and profess their style of living and thinking. Some well known artists and celebrities in the Indian cinema industries have adopted various ideologies and they have different perceptions on this issue and here are few examples.SRIDEVIEVERGREEN BEAUTYThe late actress was said to always be in her glorified young years even after surpassing her young adult age and contributing decades of marvellous works to the film industry. Sri Devi hammered claims saying that ladies more than 40 should take care of themselves and do what makes them attractive. In spite of the fact that her fans view her as an evergreen delight since her flicks like Naagin and Mr. India , the on-screen character has had an extremely nose job and botox besides the face-lifting and body-tucking surgery done. KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN THE CULTURE PULLS ME INThe performing artist, who brought the unattainable size zero fever in drift, has always been blessed with good looks and features. Even after following dietary restrictions and having strict workout regimes, Kapoor blames her Punjabi culture for being a foodie and her natural instinct towards north Indian delicacies. In an interview for a leading magazine she says, "I don’t know how the size-zero thing started—but I was only 27 and I wanted to do it for a role. It looked amazing, but that was then. I’ve been in the business for a long time since, and I’m more mature—now, it’s about being fit. I’m definitely comfortable in my skin right now” SHILPA SHETTYFIT IN FIFTYShe unquestionably is synonymous to wellness in our nation. After being Recognised as one of the top selling fitness freak actors, Shilpa with her faultless skin, slim midriff, idealize bends and thick hair make her a universal top choice. She claims that her idea of self fitness and hygiene is driven by the motivation of looking at her best at her 50.There have been many such perspectives from the other sides of the gender and industry spectrum, but these were few of the most influential ones. They set the trend for any new style by making it their own and producing a sense of aesthetic with it. Be it as a response to the media or social changes, One’s wellness should be the top priority, both physical and mental. In the end the question should be,Mirror on the wall, who’s the most themselves of them all?
Aarohi is an Independent girl with big dreams. She always wanted to stand at place where she will be admired, loved and respected by many. Her family always stood by her side in every decision she made. After finishing her Masters in Business Administration, She wanted to start a business of her own. She did research for same to find what works well and essentials to start a business. She approached a bank for loan to start her business, Manager of the bank is some distinct relative of her father. Aarohi explained him her business plan and objectives and provided all necessary documents. He signed the documents to proceed further into loan process. When Aarohi was about to bid leave, he said “Have your seat.” and paused for while and continued “I know your father very well. He is great person, he worked hard to reach the position where he stand today. I admire him a lot. And I feel sad to see you running behind banks and offices to raise funds for your business. At this age you should start a family of your own. Business and all these is a difficult job especially for ladies. I know how difficult it is for you to do all this being a girl I respect you for that. You are no less than a son for your father. I wish and hope you will make your parents proud. All the best.” Aarohi bid him leave and was returning home but her mind was still in that manager’s room and her thoughts were rotating around his words. ” he is feeling Sad for me. Why? Just because I’m a girl and working at the age of marriage? And daughter helping her family is some sort of thing to be sympathized ? He is proud of me not for hard work I’m doing but for even after being a girl, I’m doing all this. Why is he showing such sympathy? Will he say same words if I be man, Son. His respect for me is out of sympathy of being a lady and doing business.” There is nothing wrong in respecting women but not just because of their gender, respect them as they are also humans, respect them for their qualities and respect them for the good work they do. “ALL THEY NEED IS YOUR RESPECT NOT SYMPATHY.”

The smooth flow of words makes the narrative not only easy but engrossing too. The characters be they the protagonists or the supporting souls, are well articulated, thus making it easy for the reader to relate to them, their views, their actions and reactions. In fact one can easily don their shoes and live the story without feeling ill at ease/ appearing odd. Each one of them contributes to taking the story forward without a hitch, without a hurdle. The author’s mastery over the language is evident from the terms he has used and the vivid description of events that unfold in the pages of the book. To write is an art, to keep the reader spellbound and yearning for more is magic. The book brings out sibling love at its best and also addresses certain social issues in subtle yet powerful strokes. This book deals with every aspect of struggles a women undergone during the ancient time and also serves a great social message about eunuch community. There are a few typos and one or two places where the author has made contradictory usages that need to be rectified. My favorite protagonist of this story is Maharani Meeramani. The book has worth to be carried and flaunt because it has got a magical touch of love which can be done in a single sitting.A wonderful read, one I’ll strongly recommend to all book lovers. I’m sure that those who don’t like the historical friction will not get disappointed after reading the book.Overall Ratings- 4/5 StarsAbout the AuthorMeenakshi was born on December 27, 1972, in New Delhi. The title “Such Is Her Life” is different and interesting. As the title suggest it’s a collection of musings on women’s life. The author has beautifully crafted all the life of a woman right from the time she is in her mothers womb till the time of her death. Musing are written day to day life of female goes through she is raped, rape, child abuse, sexually, mentally, physically, gender discrimination, acid attack, killing, and many others. The best part about these musings was that they were relatable, each and every girl can feel but never truly express herself to people and the things around us. You will feel the magic of words. How a bunch of few words will move you and you happen to close the book and think about rights of women.Words. That they give voice to your inner most feelings. The words were simple and the language is lucid which eased the reading. Perfectly portrayed the feelings and narration was intresting. I am no hard core feminist you people, but it is evident that our society is ready for many more Kathuas to encounter, so bear me for this one. I believe that the space we are living in is not a perfect and pragmatic Indian institution, rather a street that tastes damp and sticky sweet and is a disguised ideal society, if viewed from a distance. We are still residing in the streets of atrocity since for a major part of us, women are mere humans. Oh wait, do they even fall into the category of humans, who have so ecstatically accepted the standards of behaviour which are highly dependent on the gender one belongs to. Let's wake up and accept that women are not disposable glasses or puppets in the hands of demons always ready to control them. When my parents tell me not to stay out of place after it strikes 12, it is a big moment to ponder whether the modern India we get to hear in speeches is spreading like a wildfire, or is it just a manifestation of our so called developed minds disguised in the dust of prejudices. Our eyes never got weary awaiting for change, but we can expect women to cook on fire, yet reckless we are to sense the fire within them. What is the point of talking about equality or liberation in textbooks when our mind lies in orthodox principles. Our heart wants to be the frontier of change but is reluctant due to the fear of losing the tag of following the mainstream. Respect women, not because you have been imparted that knowledge, or because your mother is one. Respect women, for at the end of the day, they are humans. They face inequality which rises from your delusions. You may cut me with your words all you want. The fact remains, I am a woman.
Section 497 of the Indian Penal Code was talked about adultery.

It doesn't matter if its legal or not , Homosexualiy will always be an issue to any culture.Yes,it took hundreds of years to be legal in some places, but its very uncertain that how long it will take people to understand their feelings and emotions ,and stop seeing them as a threat to any cultural values. People get scared if a homo stands in the vicinity, what if you get harrased somehow by him or her,or whould he or she destroy your social image. There are a lots of doubtful questions come into your mind but its not logical. Think you are heterosexual, do you like or love every opposite gender you see.if you do then you are mentaly retarded, if not then your taste of like or dislike depends on some criteria, which you might be aware of or might not.So A homo also find someone as per his criteria, it won't be everyone. But well there is a chance it could be you ,So if you deny then would that homo force you,can you force somebody to love you.You can't then why you can't befriend a homo?.We are actually insulting them giving a different category "Homo" but do they ever tease us calling Hetero. Why they can't do the same because we are more in numbers than them ,we are on the right path, maintaining the cycle of life, but they are an abomination breaking the cycle and a threat to the existence of human kind. Its true but think from perspective of your life,do you love a woman because you got a Nobel job to maintain life on earth or its just about your satisfaction and security. So just like us they also strive for their own and there is no wrong in it.This is how their body is made and if God is the creator and every creation is beautiful in its way then they are also beautiful and they are rare. There is no shame being a Homo or befriending a homo. They are different and less that doesnt mean we can dominate them. And if you have too much blind faith in scriptures then let me tell you what teaches us what is right and what is wrong,Its Life ,your experience on those actions you taken make you realize what's right in this world and you fight for it.They fought for their rights because its their truth which they protected from our kind.Even who gives you right to judge someone on basis of their sexual orientation. it's their personal matter. If sugar taste bitter for some people , you can't blame them being wrong .For you its sweet for them its bitter,no judgments should pass on personal experience. You can never prove it.So please treat them with equality. So many writers, poets and scientists were born a homo and they blessed us with their creativity. But they also experienced very hard time cause society can't accept them. May be there were more brigher minds but they are not part of history, they names are lost ,grounded in this grey soil. But its modern age,and things need to be changed.
We can't talk about our problems publicly. We are not allowed to scream our sadness out aloud. We are not meant to cry our heart out. We are meant to fight we the demon inside us alone. Why? Because we are meant to be strong. But, wait! What does being strong actually means? Does it mean that even if we are dying inside but still we have to pretend to be totally fine? No, certainly not! In reality, it means to let our emotions flow without any metal barrier, be it be of sadness or happiness. But, why aren't we able to do so? Because of the so-called society whom we give unnecessary footage will judge us, laugh on us. The best gift, we men have got from the society is patriarchy. Often men are being criticised for being dominant. But what we fail to see that patriarchy has been practised by both the genders. We fail to understand the burden and struggle of being the sole bread earner of the family. We fail to understand, how it feels sacrificing the social life! A smile usually cheers our mood but ironically it is being used more often by the men to hide their pain and eventually making them weaker from inside. And when things go out of control, we hear the news of heart attacks, suicides, etc. And at the end, society will be left to say that "अच्छा आदमी था". So stop being a slave of the society and live freely.

Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.My Education, in olden days completed up to basic 10th class in a Sultan Bazar Government High School, Hyderabad. Then Two-Year Pre-University Course from Badruka College of Commerce and Management at Hyderabad. My Graduation in Commerce went in from Osmania University Affiliated College, Badruka College of Commerce & Management, Hyderabad. I did Diploma in Business Management (DBM) course from a Private Institute. I also did Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Private Institution. I did Typewriting Higher Grade and Stenography Higher Grades from then combined Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, Hyderabad. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? My family heredity has Literature blood. By inspiring elders Literary works right from my childhood, I happened to inculcate the habit of literary writings. I have also worked hard to learn good English and Telugu languages for this purpose, though my mother tongue is Telugu. My Blood has got some Literary Blood Cells Therefore, I am a little-bit fluent in my writings, as I on and off keep my brain thinking always. More so, I don't like to keep idle myself. If I don't write and work each day, I don't get sleep, and I become erratic without work. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? In the initial days, when I was writing literary type of work in especially in English, Readers used to comment about the mistakes. I used to refer to English Dictionary for better words. I used to correct myself with patience. I used to write better words in a bad sentence. I have developed the habit of writing English in Flowery Language, so that people/readers should read my literary work i.e., stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes, so on and so forth. Now I have become a little bit perfect, as I think myself, and started writing so many things pertaining to literature work. I am not getting any negative comments for my work. Only I used to get appreciation letters, good comments, and good encouragement and praising notes. I thought I would still contribute more to this World, where Top Level Literary Writers/Authors should Appreciate my works, and my ambition is to have my name in the World Famous Authors/Writers List, as a good Literary Writer, My Ambitions are more and I am working accordingly on daily basis. What is your view about the present day literary work? Present day Literary work is not that of a good Literature work, as evidenced by many Writers works. The standard of English writing is slightly just average. I have observed that my of the Technical and Management Graduates are unable to contribute to literary work, because they are all, to say many on software line. I observed that many of the software people never in the habit of writing articles/stories/songs/literary works, etc. This generation is such. Only old people used to write good English, as I knew and observed well in my life. More so, people and writers who are interested to write good literary work, need to get trained from senior mentors and continuously make a habit of writing, as a regular feature in their life. Then only, at once point of time such Literary work could be well recognized. Lest, there are chances of Literary Work getting drowned, due to not having good Writers in the coming generations. As one knew well, that "Old Water Go, New Water Come".Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Yes definitely. **Marital Rape**it refers to unwanted intercourse by a man with his wife obtained by force, threat of force, or physical violence, or when she is unable to give consent. It is a non-consensual act of violent perversion by a husband against the wife where she is physically and sexually abused. Approximations have quoted that every 6 hours; a young married woman is burnt or beaten to death, or driven to suicide from emotional abuse by her husband. The UN Population Fund states that more than 2/3rds of married women in India, aged between 15 to 49 have been beaten, raped or forced to provide sex. In 2005, 6787 cases were recorded of women murdered by their husbands or their husbands’ families. 56% of Indian women believed occasional wife-beating to be justified. While marital rape gets documented in hospitals, cases are rarely registered, since it is excluded from the India Penal Code’s (IPC) definition of rape, says an analysis by Dilaasa, a counselling centre based out of K.B. Bhabha Hospital in Bandra. “Very rarely do patients tell us about marital rape. In a few cases, we see injuries and probe them. They are not aware this is wrong There is a pattern to the silence: women stay quiet about the assault when young, but are willing to report it at a later stage.’In the present day, studies indicate that between 10 and 14% of married women are raped by their husbands. Sexual assault by one’s spouse accounts for approximately 25% of rapes committed. Of the 664 cases, 159 cases were marital rape in 2015 at NGO Sneha’s crisis counselling centre in Dharavi. At Sneha’s counselling centres at KEM and Sion hospitals, of 218 cases of domestic violence received in 2015, 64 women said they had faced marital rape. Dilaasa analysed 13 cases of sexual violence from the emergency rooms of two of Mumbai’s public hospitals, Rajawadi in Ghatkopar, and Bhabha between 2011 and 2014 and found that only in five instances did the police register a case, mostly under Section 498 (A) (domestic violence), or the contentious Section 377 (unnatural offences). Dilaasa’s domestic violence data shows 60% married women report sexual violence, forced sex being its most common form. Dilaasa notes, “In almost all the cases, the police delay the collection of medical evidence from these hospitals and also do not wish to record an FIR. Union Minister Maneka Gandhi said that even if there was a law against marital rape, women won’t report it. According to the latest National Health and Family Survey (NFHS-4) for 2015-16, 5.4% women have experienced marital rape, under this category. But while the data on marital rape in India exists, marital rape as a crime, “does not exist”. And yet 5.4% of married Indian women say they have experienced marital rape. The figure recorded by NFHS-3 for 2005-6 was 9.5%. Sexual violence of course gets progressively worse if the husband is an alcoholic – 66% of married women experienced physical or sexual violence when “husband gets drunk often”. But only 10% of married victims of sexual violence seek help. The situation is worst in Manipur, 55% of married Manipuri women have been victims to these kinds of violence. Sikkim has the lowest number of victims at 3.5%. The National Health and Family Survey records both sexual and non sexual violence. The survey has looked at married women in the age group of 15-49. The highest form of non-sexual violence comes from men slapping women – 25% of women surveyed said they have been slapped. In all, 12% of married women said they have been pushed, shaken and have had things thrown at them. 10% said the husbands have pulled their arms or hair. Another 7.5% said they have been punched with fists or objects and 7% said they have been kicked, dragged and beaten up. More so, 1.5% said they have been choked or burnt and 0.8% said they have been threatened or attacked with guns, knives and other weapons.👉Marital rape may be broadly classified into following two categories:1.Sexual coercion by non-physical means– this form of coercion involves social coercion in which the wife is compelled to enter into sexual intercourse by reminding her of her duties as a wife. This form of coercion entails applying non-physical techniques and tactics like verbal pressure like include making false promises, threatening to end the marital relationship, lies, not conforming to the victim’s protests to stop, etc.2. Forced sex– this involves the use of physical force to enter into sexual intercourse with an unwilling woman. It can be further classified into the following three categories:i. Battering Rape- this form of marital rape involves the use of aggression and force against the wife. The women are either battered during the sexual act itself or face a violent aggression after the coerced sexual intercourse. The beating may also occur before the sexual assault so as to compel her into sexual intercourse.ii. Force Only Rape- in this form of rape, the husband does not necessarily batter the wife, but uses as much force as is necessary to enter into sexual intercourse with the unwilling wife.iii. Obsessive Rape- this form of rape involves the use of force in sexual assault compiled with perverse acts against the wife. It involves a kind of sexual sadistic pleasure enjoyed by the husband.👉*Marital rape is illegal in 18 American States, 3 Australian States, New Zealand, Canada, Israel, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Soviet Union, Poland and Czechoslovakia. In India, a marriage is a bond of trust and that of affection. A husband exercising sexual superiority, by getting it on demand and through any means possible, is not part of the institution. Legislators use results of research studies as an excuse against making marital rape an offence, which indicates that many survivors of marital rape, report flash back, sexual dysfunction, emotional pain, even years out of the violence and worse, they sometimes continue living with the abuser. For these reasons, even the latest report of the Law Commission has preferred to adhere to its earlier opinion of non-recognition of “rape within the bonds of marriage” as such a provision may amount top excessive interference wit the marital relationship. Rape in any form is an act of utter humiliation, degradation and violation rather than an outdated concept of penile/vaginal penetration. Restricting an understanding of rape reaffirms the view that rapists treat rape as sex and not violence and hence, condone such behavior in India. The importance of consent for every individual decision cannot be over emphasized. A woman can protect her right to life and liberty, but not her body, within her marriage, which is just ironical. Women so far have had recourse only to section 498-A of the IPC, dealing with cruelty, to protect themselves against “perverse sexual conduct by the husband”. But, where is the standard of measure or interpretation for the courts, of ‘perversion’ or ‘unnatural’, the definitions within intimate spousal relations? Is excessive demand for sex perverse? Isn’t consent a sine qua non? Is marriage a license to rape? There is no answer, because the judiciary and the legislature have been silent.👉*India’s parliamentarians just could not find it in them to treat married and unmarried women equally, on matters of rape. “Married women only have the option of using section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, which lays down provisions on cruelty, if they need to allege sexual violence against their husbands,” says Kavita Krishnan, secretary of the All India Progressive Women’s Association. And although Section 377 is known as the law which prohibits “gay sex,” it in fact prohibits “unnatural sex,” an act which can take place between straight people as well. “Sometimes women have used Section 377 if they want to press charges of rape against their husbands,” says Krishnan.Section 375, the provision of rape in the Indian Penal Code (IPC), has echoing very archaic sentiments, mentioned as its exception clause- “Sexual intercourse by man with his own wife, the wife not being under 15 years of age, is not rape.” Criminal charges of sexual assault may be triggered by other acts, which may include genital contact with the mouth or anus or the insertion of objects into the vagina or the anus, all without the consent of the victim. It is a conscious process of intimidation and assertion of the superiority of men over women.👉*There are many reasons such as husband believe in the superiority of men over women; some domestic issues, demand of women for her right in a marital relationship etc. Therefore, the main reason of this marital menace is a wide spread of gender inequality prevailing in our society. The male-dominated system of social norms where woman whether married or unmarried does not have the equal rights in any which way. It is the biggest weapon in hands of man to exploit the women. The role of traditionally assigned to married women in the society. Indian married women are considered as pativratastri means pure, faithful and obliging women. Thus married women have to follow her husband and fulfil all his requirements. The sexual relationship has been considered as an important part of the marriage, it is a woman’s duty towards her husband and she is not supposed to deny that to him. Her rile must be of submission and surrender. Economic dependence on her husband and in-laws is the reason that married women are unable to protect her from frequent practice of marital rape and she is forced to bear it. There must be strict laws for marital rape and the government should make some rules to reduce this problem.Rajabala
Homosexuality:-Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. When it comes to homosexuality, for many people the recurring idea is that it’s something unnatural. But what does unnatural really mean? The definition of the term is something that goes against natural or human laws especially in relation to morality. Homosexuality is normal and is noticed form the ancient times. Between two and eleven percent of human adults report experiencing some homosexual feelings, though the figure varies widely depending on the survey. Homosexuality exists across cultures and even throughout the animal kingdom. Between six and ten percent of rams prefer to mount other rams, not ewes. Certain groups of female Japanese monkeys prefer the company of other females, American bison, polecats or elephants, both males and females have been observed courting and mating with others the same sex. In the case of giraffes, nine out of ten couplings occur between males. Bonobos form matriarchal societies, where 60% of sexual relations occur between females. In lions, 8% of mating observed are among males, and in the case of dogs, numerous research studies affirm the existence of patterns of homosexual behavior. As for birds, all species that form parental relationships do so, to a greater or lesser extent, with members of the same sex. As many as a quarter of black swans are homosexual. Penguins have even struck up same-sex relationships in zoos in different parts of the world. Studies have shown that up to 85% of lesbian pairs are found in populations of western seagulls. And they’re not the only ones. Pigeons, vultures, ibis, lizards, sheep, macaques, hyenas, flies, dragonflies and countless other animal species are challenging the notion that homosexuality is “unnatural”.Sexual orientation is a very complex phenomenon. The exact cause of homosexuality is not know till now. But the reason can be understood from many scientific studies. In the case of a study of male twins, scheduled for presentation at the annual meeting of the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) in Baltimore, Maryland, today, could help explain that paradox. It finds that epigenetic effects, chemical modifications of the human genome that alter gene activity without changing the DNA sequence, may have a major influence on sexual orientation. The gay gene has some association with regions of Chromosome 8 and with the Xq28 gene on the X chromosome. If Being Gay Is a Choice:-If you ask most gay people, they will tell you that being gay is not something they chose to be. It makes sense, as one has to wonder why anyone would choose to be something that could cause them to be scorned by society, rejected by their families, denied rights, and subjected to possible violent hate crimes. Many gays and lesbians would argue that being gay is not a choice, but whether to act on it is. We don’t choose our sexual orientation, but we do choose whether or not to come out of the closet. Most scientific organizations also believe that homosexuality is not a choice and that biology plays some role. The National Mental Health Association says that most researchers believe sexual orientation is complex, and that biology plays an important role. In other words, many people are either born with their sexual orientation or establish it at an early age.source: internetRajabala

In the present times, the cases of children's abuse are frequent in the community due to the changes of family values and social problems. This issue is important as it touches many people who have children and want to protect them. To understand behaviors of the children who have been abused one should analyze the psychological factors crucial for them. One can distinguish two kinds of abuse: physical and sexual. Children aging from 3 to 14 years old can undergo sexual and physical abusing. The behaviors of the children depend on the kind of abusing, ethnicity, gender and age. Moreover, verbal and non-verbal languages are the ways of revealing the differences between abused children. This research paper intends to study behaviors of the children who have been abused and analyze the psychological factors.Literature ReviewThere are a great deal of discussion posts towards this topic. Majority would agree that children who have been abused have their patterns of behavior that are characterized by non-verbal gestures. In addition, non-verbal behaviors can be the determinants of physical or sexual abuse that is revealed through interviewing. For example, using such method as interviewing it have been revealed the fact of abusing. Moreover, the participants of interviewing were stressed and depressed when they answered the questions about physical and sexual violence. In addition, indicators of physical disengagement and stress were progressing while positive emotions were decreasing. Consequently, non-verbal behavior can tell a lot about physical and sexual abuse of children. Non-verbal behavior includes gestures, body movement, language intonation, facial expressions and eye contact.Different kinds of physical evidence, photographic evidence, medical evidence and eyewitness are the ways of determining children's sexual abuse. These are independent measures that can provoke the necessary feelings, emotions and patterns of behavior of children who have been abused. One should mention that indicators of sexual abuse are diverse. They can include disclosure, sexual awareness, symptoms associated with trauma, fears, anxiety, mood changes, conduct problems and other behavioral changes. Furthermore, data from interviewing children is related to the negative experience that oppresses them and can lead even to suicide. In addition, there are such children who are offenders and admit their participation in sexual abuse. Consequently, they can also feel similar emotions. It is important to determine who is an offender and who is a victim as children are cunning and can hide information.Sexual abuse is harmful to the mental order of children. Younger children are more eager to tell about their stressful situations rather than teenagers who feel somalization, anxiety and depression. Therefore, interviewing should also correspond to ethnical, gender and age differences of children. Kathleen Ratican insists that shame and guilt can prevent children from being totally sincere during interviewing. Furthermore, one can see sexually abused children through their relationships with other people. In addition, abused children can be aggressive and hostile to those who interviewed them supposing them to be enemies. Facilitating disclosure and treatment approaches for helping sexually abused children.Sexual abuse is shameful, embarrassing and private topic for discuss. Thus, not all children can admit being sexually abused and provide the objectivity of interviewing. The factors that restrict the reliability and sincerity of interviews are gender, age and individual characteristics. However, one should not use such improper methods as reinforcement (rewards, punishments), social influence, asking suggestive questions to get the necessary information. Furthermore, sexually abused girls are opener comparing with boys by providing more details. Children between 4-6 years old can also give more information due to their trust and childish naivete?.Researches underline the importance of choosing techniques for interviewing children in sexual abuse cases. It is evident that after such negative experience children lose trust, therefore, it is important to establish the contact with them and provide friendly atmosphere. First of all, it is crucial to distinguish the kind of abuse, the reasons and consequences of the violent behavior. There are common patterns of behavior of children who have been abused. These are negative feelings, reservation, depression and hostility. To reveal the fact of sexual abuse in young children one should use play therapy, for example, dolls. However, there can be false answers where children can lie about their sexual or violent abuse. It can be related to their mental and psychological disorders or desire to attract attention of the adult people. In conclusion, one should say that interviewing is one of the best ways to understand behaviors of children who were sexually and physically abused. Interviewing should also correspond to ethnical, gender and age differences of children. Verbal and non-verbal languages can reveal the necessary information and provoke feelings related to physical and sexual abuse. Gender and age are the most important factors that influence children's answers during the interview. Disclosure, sexual awareness, symptoms associated with trauma, fears, anxiety, mood changes, conduct problems and other behavior changes refer to the types of behavior. One should say that every person has his/her individual characteristics that make him/her opener or more reserved. Consequently, girls can inform more details while interviewing, as they are too emotional. As to boys, they are more reserved and suspicious. Yet young children are the most sincere and trustworthy.
About the author: Jane Summers is a professional writer at the https://prime-essay.net writing service. She researches a diversity of topics and composes it into her blog, where she shares useful tips, writing guidelines and many other interactive issues. The topic of female presence in the army has always been controversial. At first, during wars, women were working as nurses, cooks, spies, and couriers among others. It was not official, many of them were injured or killed, but when they decided to take their responsibilities, they had a strong desire to help the military. Some of them even changed clothes and fought on the battlefield alongside with men. They felt like it was their duty, but still they wanted to hide their activity.Times have changed and in the twentieth century new movements arose that demanded more rights for women, better integration in different working areas, and empowerment in general. It was related to the topic of women in the army as well. Feminist ideas stated that men and women have to be equal in all areas of life. At the same time, some conservative points of view were powerful. The supporters of this view preferred a traditional image of the society and its institutions, where men are obligated to be active in social life and defend country, while women needed to do the housework, take care of all of the family, give birth to children and bring them up.Nowadays, women are present in military forces, but many questions remain. For instance, why are there still more soldiers than officers among women? At the same time most of them are even not allowed to stay on the battlefield and have real practice. Obviously, it is closely attached to some gender issues and stereotypes. One of them is that men always are physically stronger and are better leaders than women. Nevertheless, trainings showed that the equal number of males and females can manage tasks and be appropriate units for the military. Last news informed that women would be allowed to serve in combat – infantry, ground, and some special operations in 2016. The question may be topical for many years, because now there are many female units fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, and at the same time many women want to learn military skills. The main point of the article called “Women In Combat Roles In US Military: Still A Small Step To Equality,” written by Fitriani and Ron Matthews, is that the society should not underestimate the importance of women for military even before giving them possibilities to join it in any role. The article provides an example of countries where women are essential part of the armed forces – Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Israel, Germany, Norway, Netherlands, Romania, Poland, South Korea, and Sweden. The authors prove that the US armed forces are trying to minimize the contact of female units with the enemy. They believe that it is not fair and all restrictions to serve in combat units need to be outdone. In addition, it is stated that most of women in the army are not leaders but mainly low-ranking. It was also mentioned that many women were killed or wounded during operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Besides, there are some cases of discrimination and sexual harassment in the military. The view that is against the presence of women in the army is concentrated on some moral, safety, and gender issues, but mostly it is prejudiced, as the authors prove. In summary, the authors think that all military positions need to be available to women. At the same time, they admit that there are some positive changes: the key is not to dismiss the leadership and strength that women can bring to the armed forces before they are given the opportunity to prove themselves. Feminist theory seeks to understand the nature of gender inequality and it focuses on the issues of politics, power, and sexuality. Political activity of feminists is concentrated on such issues as the rights of reproduction, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, sexual harassment, discrimination, and sexual violence. Themes explored in feminism include discrimination, stereotyping, objectification (especially sexual objectification), oppression, and patriarchy.Feminist theory is based on the idea that all consciousness of modern people regardless of gender, are imbued with the ideas and values of masculine ideologies with their male chauvinism, the priority of masculinity, logic, and rationalism. This axiomatic fact of the modern culture explains the need for a feminist to revise the traditional views as well as the need to create the history of women's literature and defend the sovereignty of femininity that does not fit into the male logic. Thus, feminist studies have broad issues: the reconstruction of women's history and women's literary tradition audit patriarchal canons and stereotypes, finding new gender roles, the nature of women's text and the text perception female recipient, the destruction of patriarchal samples language, the problem of women in post-colonial situation and in terms of cultural imperialism, and others. Such a wide range of shows are the basis of the principles of the feminist criticism methodological diversity.Another sociological theory is critical theory which includes a number of approaches and theoretical discourse. Besides, it closely examines and criticizes the society and culture drawing on the knowledge of social sciences and humanities.Literally, the term "critical theory" gathers under a variety of approaches and knowledge based on criticism and reflexive attitude towards knowledge or the current situation in any region. Besides, it is trying to "explain the origin of the objects of his knowledge.Critical theory, in its broadest sense, does not refer to a specific theory or a complete research program but to the discourse" different "in its origin, content, direction, etc. Among these discourses, the ones that are commonly mentioned are Marxism, the Frankfurt School, psychoanalysis, post-structuralism, feminism, post-colonialism, multiculturalism, the study of racism, sexism, ethnocentrism, and colonialism among others.Discursive diversity of "critical theory" is associated with cultural studies, the leitmotif of which is the consideration of cultural phenomena in terms of organizing their relations of domination and subordination related to gender, class, race, etc. Cultural forms, phenomena, and processes are not seen as secondary education depending on the institutional forms or political or economic organization but as a dynamic force. The current situation masks inequality in international relations, and rationalism takes it a priori. Theorists did not seek to explore international or internal system states. They carried out research for political purposes of liberation of humanity from the despotic structures, world politics and economics, which are controlled by hegemonic forces. In this perception of the international system, they were very close to the theoretical neo-Marxism, because they interpreted any knowledge as an instrument of policy. The most important conclusion of critical theory, which is that any theory is a reflection of some hidden interests and their authors, regardless of whether they realize it or not, is an instrument of political power. These two sociological theories are connected with each other, because feminist theory originated from critical theory. It was about seeing gender as a dynamic concept. Gender is not social prejudices, stereotypes, and expectations that public put on both sexes but a choice for which every individual has rights. Critical theory considers the discrimination of women in armed forces to be advantageous for men and the other people who have their own interest in it. It is not always necessary to compare these two theories, because the critical theory was the first and had great influence on feminist theory, because it stated that one should perceive reality and society critically. So, gender is not traits and abilities of men and women but their self-identification and possibilities. The authors demonstrate the reflection of feminist theory when they prove that women are equal to men and if a woman has a desire to defend her country, she has the right to join the military. The equality is shown in three ways:1) Women that are going to join the armed forces are not weaker than men.2) Women are able to be as good high-ranked officers as men.3) Most of women are still far from battlefield serving on traditional positions, but they are able to do more. The other important problems that are mentioned in the article are discrimination and sexual harassment that the armed forces can cope with if they provide appropriate conditions to avoid them.Regarding critical theory, the whole article questions beliefs about women in the army, widely considers the experience of the other countries, recalls how the status of women changed over the decades, and predicts what will happen in a few years. Besides, it provides many numbers and data given from different resources that help one to lead to own conclusions. In general, critical and feminist theories almost reached their aim to liberate women, by giving them the opportunity to work in different areas and providing comfortable conditions. However, there are still some areas that have unpredictable conditions and consequences for women – one of them is the armed forces. Probably, it will take much time to create special conditions for female units and change social beliefs, but one day women will be totally equal to men as defenders.

CCNAs and CCNA up-and-comers hear it constantly: 'Get a few hands-on understanding'. From my own experience ascending the Cisco confirmation stepping stool, I can disclose to you firsthand that there is no learning like hands-on learning. No test system on the planet is going to give you the experience you will get cabling and arranging your very own switches. At whatever point I notice this to one of my understudies, they generally state it is excessively expensive. In all actuality, it is less expensive presently to assemble your very own CCNA and CCNP lab than it has ever been. The mystery? Utilized switches. The word 'utilized' kills many individuals; relatively few of us purchase utilized PCs or utilized servers. Cisco switches, however, are hearty; I for one possess a Cisco 4000 switch that I use as an Edge Hand-off switch in my lab that I've had for around four years, and I've never had an issue with it.The uplifting news for current CCNA and CCNP up-and-comers keen on structure their own labs is that utilized Cisco gear has never been increasingly abundant or less expensive. eBay is a decent method to get a thought of what's out there and what the costs are, yet you don't need to gather your lab each piece in turn. Numerous eBay merchants who sell utilized Cisco gear sell instant CCNA and CCNP labs for one value, including links.I solicited one significant merchant from CCNA and CCNP labs, http://www.ciscokits.com, what the most widely recognized inquiries are in regards to building your own home lab. This is what they needed to state:For what reason do I need genuine switches rather than a test system? You need a physical switch as the test systems simply don't be able to give you the 'hands on' you have to perceive what happens when you separate a link or put a link in an inappropriate area. You will come to discover rapidly that slip-ups you make on Switch 1 are influencing Switch 5 all since you didn't sink a link appropriately. No test system can reenact that. What number of switches do I need? Two switches truly are required to check whether anything works. On the off chance that you have an extremely restricted spending plan, you can get an incentive from just buying a solitary switch over working with a test system. Be that as it may, you won't have the option to see the primary concern we are attempting to achieve. The engendering of course tables! The main way you can check whether your designs work, is to have at any rate two switches. In this way, I emphatically prescribe that you buy a double switch unit that accompanies every one of the embellishments you need. Else you can go through days attempting to discover all the little additional pieces you have to get your lab going.Do I need a switch? All things considered, it is decent to have. Be that as it may, with just around 2 inquiries on the test devoted to 'hands on' switch information, on the off chance that you need to hold back on something, hold back on the switch. What switches and switches would it be advisable for me to purchase?Decisions, decisions, decisions! Which 2500/2600 switch do I pick? I will show a few advantages and disadvantages of every switch underneath, alongside current costs (note that costs are by and large lower on the off chance that you purchase a double switch unit rather than a solitary switch):1) Cisco 2501 Switch with 16 MB Streak/16MB Measure $94.99. The least expensive presentation switch, and it can bolster a larger part of the directions that you should learn for your CCNA test. Each of the 2500 switches that we will talk about accompany at least two sequential ports and an Ethernet port. You should add a handset to this unit to change over the Ethernet AUI port to a RJ-45 style Ethernet port.2) Cisco 2503 Switch with 16 MB Streak/16MB Measure $119.99. This is equivalent to a Cisco 2501, aside from it includes an ISDN port so you can finish all your ISDN directions for the CCNA test. You should add a handset to change over the Ethernet AUI port to a RJ-45 style Ethernet port.3) Cisco 2505/2507 with 16 MB Streak/16MB Measure $109.99. Equivalent to a Cisco 2501 with the exception of it has a worked in 8 or 16 port center point so you don't need to buy a handset.4) Cisco 2514 Switch with 16 MB Streak/16MB Measure $149.99. This switch is equivalent to a Cisco 2501 with the exception of rather than one Ethernet port you have two. You may ask, what is the major ordeal? Indeed, you can utilize this as your Link Modem/DSL Modem switch. Presently you can test your capacity to arrangement a firewall and switch in a live situation on the Web. Heaps of fun! You should add two handsets to change over the Ethernet AUI ports to a RJ-45 style Ethernet ports.5) Cisco 2520 Switch with 16 MB Streak/16MB Measure $119.99. This is equivalent to a 2503 yet it additionally includes two progressively sequential ports so you can utilize this as an edge hand-off switch later in your CCNA contemplates. It costs equivalent to a 2503, so this is an extraordinary cash sparing tip.6) Cisco 2612 Switch with 32 Measure and 8 MB Streak $199.99. This is a secluded switch not at all like any of the 2500 arrangement switches. So the enormous advantage of this is you can purchase additional modules to include usefulness, for example, progressively sequential ports, ISDN ports, Ethernet ports, WICs and such. In any case, because of the adaptability you will pay more. One day it is an edge transfer switch, the following it is your ISDN switch. Over the long haul it will be less expensive than acquiring a lot of committed switches for each order you need to learn.7) Cisco 1912 or 1924 Switch with Big business Programming $109.99. This is a decent ease switch.. The main downside is it is a 10 MB switch aside from the two 100 MB uplink ports. Not a major ordeal since you have 10 MB switches.8) Cisco 2912 or 2924 Switch with Big business Programming $249.99. This switch will run all the present directions required for the test and is an entire 100 MB switch. What's more, should you want to sell your lab after you complete your accreditation, you can either arrange a cost with the seller who offered it to you, or you can sell it yourself on ebay. It's my experience that 95% of applicants who acquire their CCNA proceed to seek after their CCNP inside one year, however, so don't sell it too rapidly. At last, you spend just a couple of hundred dollars, and you increase precious involvement and information that will help you both in your accreditation mission and your activity execution. Having been there, I can reveal to you that you will gain substantially more from really designing and cabling your own hardware than you ever will from any recreation of the genuine article. To your prosperity,PGCES-02 test questionsC9530-519.pdf free practice test70-517 vce engineAPI-580 sample testCIMA-F3 Fundamentals of Management Accounting Seo Audit free practice exam77-420 dumpsHealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner online test1Z0-988.pdf entrance examTop questions pdfOracle Database 11g Data Warehousing Essentials premium dumpsMB2-706 mock testCCA131 Practice testBCCPP Certified Hemodialysis Bio-Medical Technician Seo Audit pass guaranteedPR000005 Developer Certification for Apache Spark Jsfiddle braindumpsC2040-956 exam pass assuranceBCBA mock examAP0-001 exam prepST0-237 exam review810-403 Selling Business Outcomes practice test downloadCompTIA Cloud Essentials bootcampLOT-982 Administering IBM LotusQuickr8.1 Services for WebShperePortal exam pdf answersC9010-022 free test onlineDEV-501 vce engine1z0-028 Oracle Database Cloud Administration real questionsMB2-877 exam killer
The Biggest lie of this century is "Man and Woman are Equal".We are never born as equals and never will be.We are two different body, two different brain and two different mind but a girl always want to behave like a boy and parents also wish to have a boy.its because in any society a man deserve more freedom and power instead of a woman and the reason is we believe in any culture or religion,Man is created in the image of God,.Even when we address the whole human beings we call "Mankind" not "Womankind".For thousands of generations Men are endowed with prime responsibilities to protect the life force on Earth and woman are there to nourish it for the best as an helping hand. But man and woman both deserve equality. So the confusion is if man and woman are not equals then how can we have equality? Here we generally find the negative aspect of "equality",because of the similarities between "fair" and "equal" .We generally think if there is no equality ,there is unfairness. But actually unfairness means not having equal rights. Now let me clarify with an example,A Lion lives in a den and a rabbit in a burrow.A Lion can never be fit in a burrow or a den can never met those requirements for a rabbit to call it burrow. They have different dwelling based on their basic requirements. So we can't call this unfairness but if a rabbit finds no place to make a burrow and a Lion takes all to make a den then it's called unfairness. Beacuse here they don't have equal rights to live.Slimilarly if a Man wears a gown and a woman wears a coat think how hilarious it would look because those were not meant to wear . We both are different and our requirements are different but our basic rights should be equal for both .if a woman insists on wearing a coat thinking it as a "right" to wear same thing what men wears then it's just misconception of "Right" and stubbornness to show that man and woman are equal. This is what happend in most countries. This is the twist what they need to understand about what is "Right".Its true that we always showed our superiority on women ,which led the women to imitate men,so that they don't feel inferior. But the truth is no one is superior here ,and we always need each other. And the results for our misbehaviour to them is very shameful. They have lost they identify and beauty of a woman by generating a man like spirit inside them. Some of them forgot that being women is very important,it's about value, beauty, love, and everything we men are lack off but they complete us.they should think that being woman is a gift which they need to keep safe and protect instead of thinking that being women is a sin.But we are not in a position to say this cause we made this happen. And we have nothing to say , Absolutely nothing.

An industry expert said that after the artificial intelligence upgrade, gender robots are difficult to distinguish from humans. The doll president believes that artificial intelligence is developing so fast that sexual robots will match humans to reality in a few years. He told The Daily Star Online: "I think that we must not only improve the AI part, but also improve the rest of the technology (making it difficult to distinguish human capabilities from the TPE sex doll/robot). A long way to go.Operated by Harsh Strongman, he is said to be a financial advisor and certified public accountant in his 20s, who is said to write articles on health, business, money, personal finance, investment, social skills, body language and self-improvement. His profile picture is a photograph of Chanakya, an ancient Indian politician and royal adviser, who is known for his classic Arthashastra (economics). After browsing the tweets and blog posts, people realized why he was not willing to recommend this account to women. He said that ordinary dolls can reduce the weight of 65 to 80 pounds. If you can reduce this weight, you can add other functions to the flat chested love dolls.Sharing a recommendation to change lives with one gender, while another gender itself is seen as another gender discrimination, but this is only the beginning. Once you have carefully reviewed the approved account, there are a dozen dangerous signs.Over the years, I think we have made great strides in realism, but my hope for the next few years is more innovation. I think people are very concerned about AI and robotics, but other innovations have been overlooked, such as reducing the weight of the sex doll.He said that people read his tweets and blog posts clearly, "because the Japanese sex doll adds value to their lives," Strongman said, and strongly stated that he is not "a low-necked shirt." The babes are attracted to more than 96,000 followers. This "not a hot girl" made some keen observations on women's psychology. This is his deep side:Replace the quasi-metal of the entire sex! Take a moment to clap your hands. But there are more: and this is only the last few weeks. If you continue to scroll down his Twitter timeline, there may be more such treasures.Everyone can see if you don't like strong people, you can avoid following him. He did say that women can follow him "if they want," isn't it? Later that day, his attitude towards the mini 100cm doll was re-established.“In the past few years, the robotics and AI parts have been widely reported, so the public is aware of the progress being made.http://www.osnabruecker.com/blog_entry.php?user=serry&blogentry_id=32545https://www.urdolls.com/love-doll-c-58.html

In order to stop the consumption of natural water and food, it has a worrying effect, making people do not want To touch anything, just in case. By the end of the 1980s, 84% of newlyweds in China were virgins. Not only is the 24-hour service for adult products, but also the self-service kiosks, the sex doll brands and factories have also developed, as if they appeared in the eyes of the public overnight. But the key is: these sex dolls actually have social functions in China. If gender imbalances continue to intensify, the spread of these sex goods will undoubtedly help to postpone social, political and sexual issues. For the male population in China, it is much better to have a soft spot for plastic dolls than to have an international crisis. There are three main reasons why current users of these realistic sex dolls do this. "First, meet the physiological needs." Second, take photos with others and share them with others. Third, role playing.
