Day At University
 14 March 2018

It was another normal day at University. We were standing on the verandah outside our class. And all of a sudden I saw a girl, gosh she was damn pretty.Literally, I stared her for 5 to 6 mins, she noticed me and it became awkward for both of us.We are backbenchers and that too teenager, we have a bad habit of addressing a beautiful girl as " Maal ".That day too one of a friend called me said, " Bhai dekh kya maal h ".That day something got into me and I became furious and replied, " Dubara esa bola toh marunga. The best part was, She heard me say that. " Bhai ki izzat bar gayi larki k nazar m " We stood there for around 90 minutes exchanging smiles. I was like " Yr smile mil rha h matlb ab apna scene bnega. After college I followed her to her house. In between Clge and her house she stopped at 2 places.1) Panipuri wale bhaiya.Girls and Panipuri still a better love story released by our Bollywood nowadays.I too joined her and said to the Panipuri wale bhaiya , " Jis type ka woh kah rahi hai , wesa hi bnaiye ". I don't know if she heard me or not but suddenly she started saying, " Bhaiya aur theeka." And I was like aaj toh lgne wali hai apni. And I swear next morning I realized pyar k chakkr m bhot buri tarah lg gayi.2 ) Recharge shop.As soon as she stopped there I started wondering " Sala jio k zamane m kon recharge krwata h ".I too followed her to the shop and took a recharge of 50 of Airtel. Jio hote hue Airtel m recharge, pyar m kya kya krta hai insaan .Finally, she reached home. That evening again I went to that colony but she was nowhere to be found. I was disappointed. I returned home and started wondering how should I start a conversation. After 4 hours I came up with a plan. I thought of attending a class in her section and would ask her for a pen. " Purana tareeka hai , par hmesa kaam krta hai". As there's a saying Old is Gold. After hours of practice, I was all prepared. I entered the class, sat behind her but felt as if she was ignoring me. And so I dropped my plan and silently moved out of the class after the period was over. I felt bad for a couple of days but then I thought, " Bhai life m chaiye izzat " so I stopped noticing her or looking at herDays passed and I was back to normal. One day I was standing outside her class talking to my friends. And you will be surprised to know what happened next .I caught her clicking my pictures and she was so dumb she didn't even turn the flashlight off . Girls are so smart after all.I was on cloud nine and we started talking. Now we used to meet on a regular basis. It was all going really smoothOne fine evening I asked her out, she agreed. We talked for almost 2 hours and then I suddenly proposed her out of nowhere." Will you be my better half till death do us apart. "She blushed and said, " I am all yours".I was about to kiss her suddenly a voice from the backside," Uth Jah nalayak dophar k 2 baj rahe hai ".It was my Maa.And I realized it was just a beautiful dream.I smiled again And then I said to Maa ," Maa aap toh sapne m bhi kisiko kiss krne nhi deti ".

World Health Day
 2 April 2018

World health dayThe World Health Day is celebrated on 7th of April every year. This day is celebrated for awareness of the global health. The World Health Day is been the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations. The World Health Organization (WHO) has there theme, slogan and hashtag for their organization are:Theme for World Health Day is: Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere The slogan is: “Health for All”. The primary hashtag that we are using is : #HealthForAll but look out for posts using #WorldHealthDay as well. The World Health Organization held the First World Health Assembly in the year 1948. The Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of each year, with effect from 1950 after 2 years, as the World Health Day. World Health Day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues, who also organize activities and highlight their support in media reports, such as the Global Health Council. The World Health organizes decided a particular theme for the international, regional and local events on this Day. They have the different theme every year related to their aspect. If we talk about the theme of the World Health Day then we have numbers of year passed with the different theme for the world. Every theme is related to securing your health with different problems. We are celebrating World Health Organization since 1948 till now, long 70 years. Recent themes that are been taken for this day they are; in the year 2014 the theme was taken on the disease Vector-borne meaning of this was a small bite, big threat. In the year 2015, the theme was taken Food safety so that people could eat healthy food. In the year 2016, the theme was taken Halt the rise, this was related to beat diabetes. a largely preventable and treatable non-communicable disease that is rapidly increasing in numbers in many countries, most dramatically in low- and middle-income countries. Simple lifestyle measures have been shown to be effective in preventing or delaying the onset of type 2 diabetes, including maintaining normal body weight, engaging in the regular physical activity, and eating a healthy diet. Diabetes can be controlled and managed to prevent complications through diagnosis, self-management education, and affordable treatment. The WHO estimates about 422 million people in the world have diabetes, with the disease the direct cause of some 1.5 million deaths. The goals of WHD 2016 are scaled up prevention, strengthen care, and enhance surveillance. In the year 2017 the theme was taken Depression: Let's talk because the condition affects people of all ages, from all walks of life, in all countries. It impacts on people’s ability to carry out everyday tasks, with consequences for families, friends, and even communities, workplaces, and health care systems. At worst, depression can lead to self-inflicted injury and suicide. A better understanding of depression – which can be prevented and treated – will help reduce the stigma associated with the illness, and lead to more people seeking help. Talking about the upcoming World Heath Day the theme has been decided is Universal Health Coverage. This topic has been taken so that they could cover all different type of problem of the people. The World Health Organization was founded on the principle that all people should be able to realize their rights to the highest possible level of health.“Health for all” has therefore been our guiding from 70 years. It’s also the impetus behind the current organization wide drive to support countries in moving towards the Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The organization will maintain a high profile focus on (UHC) events through 2018, starting on the World Health Day on 7th of April with global and local conversations about ways to archive health for all.So it has been decided that in this 70th anniversary year, World Health Organization is calling on the world leaders to live up to the pledges they made when they agreed on the Sustainable Development Goals in the year 2015, and commit to concrete steps to advance the health of all people. This means ensuring that everyone, everywhere can access essential quality health services without facing financial hardship. Experience has illustrated, time and again, that Universal Health Coverage is achieved when political will is strong. Throughout 2018, we aim to inspire UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by highlighting policymakers’ power to transform the health of their nation, framing the challenges as exciting and ambitious, and inviting them to be part of the change.Throughout 2018, we aim to Motivate UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by sharing examples of how countries are already progressing towards UHC and encourage others to find their own path.Throughout 2018, we aim to Guide UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by providing tools for structured policy dialogue on how to advance UHC domestically or supporting such efforts in other countries. If we talk about some of the countries have already made significant progress towards universal health coverage. But half of the world’s population is still unable to obtain the health services they need. If countries are to achieve the decided target, then one billion people need more to benefit from UHC by 2023.this is the achievement target year has been decided by the UHC.World Health Day will shine a spotlight on the need for UHC and the advantages it can bring. WHO and its partners will share examples of the steps to take to get there through a series of events and conversations held at multiple levels. As it has been said by the Director General “No one should have to choose between death and financial hardship. No one should have to choose between buying medicine and buying food.”Every people do not know that why this universal health day coverage matters for our countries? It is because the country that invites in UHC marks a sound investment in their human capital. In the recent years, UHC has emerged as a key strategy to make progress towards other health-related and border development goals. Access to essential quality care and financial protection not only enhance people’s health and life expectancy, it also protects countries from epidemics, reduces poverty and the risk of hunger, creates jobs, drives economic growth and enhances gender equality.Do everyone know that why World Health Day is been celebrated? World Health Day celebration focuses on increasing the life expectancy by adding good health to the lives of people and promoting healthier living habits. Youths of the new era are also targeted by this event to prevent and make them healthy to make the world healthy and free from AIDS and HIV.Disease spreading vectors like mosquitoes (malaria, dengue fever, filaria, chikungunya, yellow fever and etc), ticks, bugs, sand flies, snails and etc are also spotlighted by the WHO to make the world free from a wide range of diseases caused by parasites and pathogens. It provides better prevention and cure from the vector-borne diseases spread by vectors and travelers from one country to other. WHO supports various health authorities on global basis to make their own efforts for the public health problems to enhance better life without different diseases. It is generally done for the increase the public awareness of various causes and prevention of high blood pressure. So that they could give knowledge of getting prevented from various diseases and their complications. For encouraging the most vulnerable group of people to frequently check their blood pressure and follow medications from the professionals. The promotion of the self care among people. EARTH DAY- 22nd, April
 3 April 2018

International Mother Earth Day (or Earth Day)The Earth Day is celebrated on 22 April 2018 each year to celebrate the Mother Earth. Thus, Earth Day is to remind us of the importance of maintenance of the life balance.History:●US senator and environment enthusiast: Gaylord Nelson was the driving force behind the celebrations.●The idea came to Senator Nelson on witnessing the infamous 1969 oil spill in California.●The spill took a toll on the ecological system of California and the Outlook of the nation itself.●Driven by the desire to involve the youth in the cause of the environment. ●It was due to the reason that an ideal date i.e. 22 April was chosen (between the spring break as well as final examinations).●Initially, the event had just 20 million supporters and by the 90s the figure swelled up to 200 million.●Then came the path-breaking legislation in form of Rio Declaration of 1992. This legislation put more effort into economic, social and environmental reforms. ●Today, the figure of the followers is estimated to be beyond 1 billion.  As a result, each year volunteers gather to plant trees, ensure cleanliness of the vicinity and achieving success through sustainable goals. Earth Day 2018 Theme:Leading the process of change is the Earth Day Network. It has been decided to dedicate the celebrations this year to End Plastic Pollution. The organization is creating and finding support for ensuring utility. creating support for a global effort to eliminate single-use plastics along with global regulation for the disposal of plastics.  EDN will educate millions of people about the health and other risks associated with the use and disposal of plastics, including pollution of our oceans, water, and wildlife, and about the growing body of evidence that decomposing plastics are creating serious global problems. From poisoning and injuring marine life to the ubiquitous presence of plastics in our food to disrupting human hormones and causing major life-threatening diseases and early puberty, the exponential growth of plastics is threatening our planet’s survival. EDN has built a multi-year campaign to End Plastic Pollution.  Our goals include ending single-use plastics, promoting alternatives to fossil fuel-based materials, promoting 100 percent recycling of plastics, corporate and government accountability and changing human behavior concerning plastics.EDN’s End Plastic Pollution campaign includes four major components:Leading a grassroots movement to support the adoption of a global framework to regulate plastic pollution;Educating, mobilizing and activating citizens across the globe to demand that governments and corporations control and clean up plastic pollution;Educating people worldwide to take personal responsibility for plastic pollution by choosing to reject, reduce, reuse and recycle plastics, andPromoting local government regulatory and other efforts to tackle plastic pollution.Earth Day Network will leverage the platform of Earth Day and the growing interest in the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2020 as a catalyst for global action.Education is the foundation for progress. We need to build a global citizenry fluent in the concepts of climate change and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet. We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection.Environmental and climate literacy is the engine not only for creating green voters and advancing environmental and climate laws and policies but also for accelerating green technologies and jobs.may be hard to imagine that before 1970, a factory could spew black clouds of toxic into the air or dump tons of toxic waste into a nearby stream, and that was perfectly legal. They could not be taken to court to stop it.How was that possible? Because there was no EPA, no Clean Air Act, no Clean Water Act. There were no legal or regulatory mechanisms to protect our environment. In spring 1970, Senator Gaylord Nelson created Earth Day as a way to force this issue onto the national agenda. Twenty million Americans demonstrated in different U.S. cities, and it worked! In December 1970, Congress authorized the creation of a new federal agency to tackle environmental issues, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.Earth Day began in America in 1970 as a day to celebrate the planet and encourage people to be more environmentally friendly. It is now an annual event and is widely regarded as the beginning of the modern environmental movement. Activities associated with the day often include planting trees, raising awareness about recycling, volunteering for green projects, and reducing the number of energy people consume. Earth Day is supported by a host of celebrities, including Leonardo Di Caprio, Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus and Matt Damon. Earth Day has become one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe. On this day, events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. Currently, it is celebrated in more than 192 countries each year. It was originally celebrated at Spring Equinox around 21 March every day but now the United Nations has designated 22 April as the International Mother Earth Day. Earth Day Network coordinates this annual day across the globe.Earth Day is all about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet Earth with its incredible biodiversity. On this day various national and international activities are conducted to understand the biodiversity and how should we protect our nature – plants, animals, and environment.Today, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with numerous partners and communities in more than 192 countries to raise the environmental concerns and diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. Apart from this, a large number of communities celebrate Earth Week and create awareness among other people regarding environmental issues.Various Earth Day FactsEarth Day Flag is called Ecology Flag. It was created by cartoonist Ron Cobb and was first published in the Los Angeles Free Press on 7 November 1969. The Ecology symbol resembles Greek letter theta and is a combination of the letters “E” and “O” taken from the words “Environment” and “Organism,” respectively. The flag consists of thirteen alternating-green-and-whites stripes with a symbol on the left-hand side. Earth Day Anthem is a universal song associated with Earth Day. Its lyrics are set to the tone of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” melody on which the official anthem of the European Union is based.“Joyful joyful we adore our Earth in all its wondermentSimple gifts of nature that all join into a paradiseNow we must resolve to protect herShow her our love throughout all timeWith our gentle hand and touchWe make our home a newborn worldNow we must resolve to protect herShow her our love throughout all timeWith our gentle hand and touchWe make our home a newborn world.”Earth Day became an international event on 21 March 1971, when UN’s Secretary-General U Thant spoke about it at a Peace Bell Ceremony at the United Nations in New York City. Since then, the United Nations Earth Day ceremony continues each year on the day of the vernal equinox (March 20th or 21st), with the ringing of the UN Peace Bell at the very moment of the equinox.More than 20 million people and thousands of local schools and communities participated in the first Earth Day of the United States that took place on 22 April 1970. This huge turnout made the first Earth Day as the largest organized celebration in the history of the United States. The success of Earth Day helped to influence the United States’ government to create stronger laws to protect the environment.Earth Day Network, the organization behind the Earth Day movement, works with over 22000 partners in more than 192 countries worldwide to raise environmental concerns. Today more than 1 billion people participate in earth day activities each year to make it one of the largest movements on earth.Earth Day 2000 combined the ambitious spirit of the first Earth Day with the international grassroots activism of Earth Day 1990. This was the year when Earth Day used the Internet to expand its reach and organize activists across several continents. The message was loud and clear and it proved invaluable domestically and internationally. In the year 2009, United Nations officially renamed Earth Day as International Mother Earth Day.On Earth Day 2012, more than 100,000 people rode bikes in China to reduce CO2 emissions and save fuel.Every year on April 22, men, women, children, groups and communities all around the world gather together and put all their efforts to collect garbage, plant saplings, encourage people to go for recycling, sign petitions and discuss issues to save this planet from depleting resources. In few places, earth day is celebrated throughout the week to expand its reach so that more people take part and put their efforts to preserve the environment.Earth Day SignificanceEarth Day is a day dedicated to increasing awareness about the Earth, its issues, and problems. Today, more than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world. As a result of this remarkable event, various policy agreements and acts are sanctioned such as Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and many others.Earth Day has gained significant significance in the past. This is due to the fact that people have been witnessing the shortage of food, skyrocketing fuel prices, increased global warming and changing weather patterns. It is a day that acknowledges the importance of our planet. People come to know about the contemporary environmental issues such as global warming, depleting resources etc. Both adults and kids become conscious about the strategies and tactics which they can adopt in day-to-day life to ensure cleaner environments.Various suggestions are brought to light about recycling, energy conservation, increasing plant and tree growth, save water, respect nature, reduce toxins in the air, keep the environment clean, reduce air pollution, planting trees and flowers to increase oxygen and love and respect towards all animals who inhabit the earth. There are small ideas with the huge impact such as – plant a tree every year, switch off the light when not in use, use recyclable bags for grocery shopping etc. presented during Earth Day celebrations.Apart from the individual households, even companies are encouraging their employees to contribute their part when it comes to saving this planet from degradation. Making use of public transportation, carpooling to reduce pollution, switching off AC after office hours, motivating people to take less printouts, using renewable sources to generate power, allowing employees to engage in tele or video conferencing, using CFL lights  and bulbs, extracting geothermal energy to heat up office buildings are few of the initiatives companies are taking to save energy and make this planet safe for our future generations. On the transportation side, companies are now manufacturing and selling hybrid and electric cars that do not make use of petrol or diesel to run. New technologies are coming in which are making these cars at par with that of cars running on petrol and diesel. If people implement some of these and make changes in their behaviors towards Mother Earth, then we would be able to make our planet a much better place to live in – also for coming generations.

“The Importance and relevance of National Festivals”
 4 November 2018
Art

Importance:How oxygen, food & water are essential for our survival same way celebration of national festival is essential for our existance in this world. It fulfill us with patriotism whichbring along a spirit of love and devotion for the country also National Festival strengthen the social relations and communications which leads to unity among people and also bring us more closer to our nation which is helpful in promoting the national harmony. Independence Day, 15th August celebration is a way to remind the people about our hard earned freedom and that we must respect and value it more. It inspires people to stay united and serve the country in every possible way. It is a day to celebrate the true spirit of freedom.  It is of great importance to all the Indian citizens, thus everyone actively participates in the national festival celebration every year. Independence Day reminds us of the heroic deeds of our leaders and freedom fighters who helped us attain freedom. This is  the main reason why we celebrate our national festivals with pride and love for our country. If our brave freedom fighters would not have been sacrificed we would not have even been able to breathe freely in our country. Forget about the national festival celebration  our revered religious festivals would also not have been possible. On this day : India celebrates three National Festivals – Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanti. We the citizens of India celebrate these festivals with full fervour. For India, 15 August is a golden day of her re-birth, a new start. At the midnight of 15 August 1947, the British rulers handed the country back to its Indian leaders, ending a remarkable 200 years old struggle and India became a sovereign nation. Independence Day is celebrated by every citizen of India irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The Prime Minister of India hoists the Indian National Flag from Red Fort every year. This is followed by 21 gun shots to salute and honour the Indian flag and solemn occasion. The Prime Minister then addresses the citizens of the country. Numerous events are organized in various places throughout the country in entire atmosphere is infused with love and devotion for the country.  Many educational institutes also organize kite flying competitions which is also a way of expressing the  freedom.    We honour these noble souls by singing songs and poems in their praise. It is a great site to see little children dressed up as various freedom fighters on this day. In short, every person in the country revels in the nationalistic pride.Several cities in the United States have declared 15 August as 'India Day'.Relevance :In present scenario it is very much relevent because it reminds us and repicturise the secrifices of our freedom fighters which inspire us to maintain our freedom and do our best for our motherland . Patriotism doesn’t require a special date or occasion to express itself. The only thing needed is that we should have immense amount of love and respect for our country. We should not confined patriotism to these selected days only and national festival celebration doesn’t only mean flag hoisting, singing our national anthem and participating in competition on subjects of nationality but it will be worth celebrating if practically we take care of everything like plantation, garbage cleaning, recycling, rejuvenating our mother rivers ,protecting our forests , providing healthy and encouraging environment to growing children, respecting our elders, maximum utilisation of renewable energy resources. If through out the year we do all these definitely we will feel proud while flag hoisting and that will be real tribute to our revered freedom fighters. During our freedom fighter’s time Britishers were our biggest and worst enemy but in today’s scenario corruption, poverty, environment problems and many more big issues are our worst enemies which we have to eradicate. When we remember our national heroes, their working policies it guides us in dealing present crisis. So it is very much relevant to celebrate our national festivals because it invokes the feeling of patriotism in the people of our country and inspire them to become soldier. Our heroes ideology leads us  on every step and inspire us to work towards its betterment and development and also gives  a sense of belonging and a responsibility towards our country. Many questions arise in our citizens mind like- Has India’s growth happened in real sense? India is independent in manufacturing and producing many technical and industrial goods. We can take pride in the space technology and development in this field. But growth of any country is this all about? all these growth  matter less until all the problems related to humanity is solved in real sense. Like this question arise in every citizen’s mind and live example of this is mushrooming NGOs in india which are crusaders of humanity. To encourage them and motivate them several awards are there for such crusader in  India. Do we really love our country? If it would have been true our news papers would not have been filled more than 50% with demotivating news. Whenever we celebrate independence day this question arise in every citizen’s mind and force them to do conscious efforts towards positive growth of our beloved country.Celebrating independence day don’t allow us to divert from our right path but encourage us to take up new resolution every year  for our motheland’s real growth. I feel proud to be Indian because our country has taught us that the meaning of life is not only to live but live with dignity, respect others rights and understand own duties and responsibilities.                                        JAI HIND !

When back in April 2019 I got great response from organisers of such a great award ceremony, i didn't have any idea that I shall get such a great response and support even being a visually impaired and Today I am delighted to be part of such fond memories here in sinaia in Romania that is a prominent cultural hub and provide phenomenal cultural eminence. To present a basic outline, This ceremony is for prize distribution of Awards for European Poetry championship of 2019 but It shall also represent some book launches, official moments, musical events and touring hot spots and hence it is going to be historic for sure. It generally established itself in early beginning from press note of the official organisers, the launch of the festival anthology and musical performances of two famous Italian names that make it a cracker. And from there on things started to span out in phenomenal colour and response that were certainly delightful to be part of as a great legacy. Further on more official steps took place, people from various countries introduced to each other and it was formal mood in it's early beginning from 1400 hours on 4th of may 2019 on it's first opening day for sure. Once that was done it was time for Writer's colloquiums on first historic day and that is what I looked for as a poet or author attending such meet at large. Generally here has to be four different colloquium sessions in which 1st has been devoted to the Balcan touch including writers from prominent countries, second is focused upon countries that are closer to Russian federation, third goes on with writers from big european countries to act upon and the last one has been with Immigrent countries which are popular but not belong to Europe with their writers getting chance. And hence it is a great environment for a visually impaired author like me to meet with all of them and make the most of such great award ceremony that shall go on for 2 days. Now coming to the four sessions that were very high of standard and where I really appreciated the way response was available to have most of it- such sessions had general theme divided in four different subsessions and certain countries were going to take part diversely by their own strides in different forms of literature represented by their writers that was going to make it a great one for sure. The first session had Balcan countries in focus and countries like Servia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Romania, Bulgaria and Montenegro were on stage where they presented Poetry as their core focus and thrilled us with great percentage of performance. Once they had done in the first session and photo clicks were taken, The countries that has closer affinity to Russian heartland came to stage including Albania, Azarbaizan, Bellarous, Moldavia, Poland and Sweedon and they took story writing as their core presentation to respond which was also exciting to listen out and have great response. Once their impact has been covered the 'Big ticket nations' of Europe took centre stage including England, Germany, Italy, Luxoumberg, Turkey and Mesidonia and their plays were phenomenal to watch that made it a cracker. Finally the Immigrant nation came to fourfront at the last session including Iraq, israel, India and Kroetia represented them as nation observing the core discussion where these four nations discussed the existence of writing, why it is valuable and how to present the core intensity to save writing culture which was a great experience altogether. Ultimately the evening was over with laughter and jokes amongst newly made friends, the joy was on great glow and the moment of award ceremony was coming closer as the next day was approaching for which we all have to wait one more day and the prominent galore shall come to impact very soon. The first day ended with the local vegetarian feast for we who like it the most, photo clicks amongst all the representatives from all countries and it was almost phenomenal knowing so many people from Europe for me as a visually impaired author that made the day. Though there is one more glorious day coming, It was a day I shall remember for long as a person. And by shaking hands all around, knowing that more trust has been gained and with more respect for each other we went to our places of stay and it was over for the moment of it with patience for the next day of office of culture coming at large...

Travellin’ is…. my sorta adventure! My backpack is on my shoulder, my jacket is tied on my waist, my passport is in my hands and I’m ready to fly far away! Some people are interested in being glued to their televisions and informing the world that- ‘Hey! Don’t you dare disturb me. It is my hour for Netflix and Chill.’ Hey, that is not my thing. I’m just nomadic, absent-minded, awe-struck and my unusual and weird type while travelling. Seeing each and every corner of this bustling world from my very own eyes is what I keep dreaming of. One day, I’ll also have my travel album with all the places I’ve visited, my experiences, pictures etc. like Kabir had in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. I can’t wait for that day!Travelling has always helped me in inheriting a friendly nature. Meeting different people around the globe and getting to know ‘em is very fun! People in Bhutan were satisfied and happy. In Paris, France they obeyed and followed all rules. In London people were helpful. In Singapore and Malaysia people were proud of being citizens of their countries and many more people of different countries ‘n’ places help me in being more like them and having their positivity. After all, we’re all humans!I just hope that one day, I’ll travel around the globe all by myself and finally feel like a big girl.Cheers if you’re also hoping for this day to arrive in the wink of an eye!

Easter and Good Friday
 21 April 2019

What do we know about Easter and Good Friday other than the two being Christian festivals? We only tend to think of Easter eggs or bunnies. But its not just that. The two festivals have a lot more to do with history, mythology and biblical accounts. The story in the bible, that dates back to the A.D.s, begins with the arrest of Jesus Christ by the Roman authorities. The Romans were completely against Jesus as he was seen as a threat or peril to the Roman Empire and was claimed to be the 'son of god'.The Romans flogged him and sentenced him to death by finally crucifying him. This crucifixion of Jesus is marked by 'Good Friday' in the Christian calendar. This day is of utmost importance to the Christians, they remember Jesus' death on the cross and attend the Good Friday service, reading biblical accounts of Jesus' death and offering prayers. It seems very strange and counter-intuitive that the day when Jesus was brutally beaten up and crucified is called "Good',but there is a deep, hidden reason.According to Christians Jesus died only for the sins of his fellow men. Moreover, the day marks the anniversary when Jesus gave up his life and is a truly holy day.3 days after crucifixion, Jesus from death;he resurrected. which is marked by 'Easter'.Rise of Jesus from his body as described in the bible is essentially the foundation upon which the religion Christianity was built.Celebrating resurrection of Jesus and being grateful to him for sacrificing his life for the sins committed by others are the 2 key reasons for observing Easter.Fertility and birth are what the Easter eggs represent while bunny shows renewal and birth. Thus positivity, understanding the cycle of birth and death, hope, faith and optimism are the messages that these 2 festivities carry along.

Preparing Your Child For Kindergarten
 12 November 2019
Art

All children have different personalities, so it really is difficult to predict how each one is going to react to going to the first day of kindergarten. Some children will walk off without so much as a backward glance at their parents. In this situation, it's usually much harder on the parent than it is on the actual kindergartener. However, sometimes the child has a more difficult time letting go, and the parents may need some advice on how to best prepare them for their first day of school. Most importantly, begin talking about the fact that your child will be going to school far in advance, to get him used to the idea. Bring it up in casual conversation without making a big deal out of it. Try to speak matter of factly about it, as if it is simply a natural progression, and the next step in your child's life. Sometimes, you may want to mention some of the fun things that your child will get to do in kindergarten, but some children will see through this tactic and may feel that you are trying to trick them. For those children, it is best to stick with the matter of fact approach. In the months leading up to the first day of school, make sure that your child has opportunities to be apart from you on a regular basis. Play dates with other children, visits to family members with other children to play with, neighborhood play, or even staying with a babysitter from time to time, will all help your child become more comfortable with the idea that he will survive without you.As the first day approaches, ask your child if he would like to take something from home with him to the first day of school. Something like a small token or stuffed animal can be easily tucked into a backpack, and may give your child that added comfort that he or she is looking for.If your child is visibly stressed, don't embarrass or punish them. Don't try to force them to relax or to not be anxious. These tactics will only make the anxiety worse. Instead, tell your child that what they are feeling is normal, and it is OK to have those feelings. Assure them that you will help them deal with their feelings so that they can learn how to become calmer about going to school. Speak with their teacher privately so that the teacher knows your concerns. Usually, if you can get your child into the classroom, and the teacher can engage him or her in an activity, you can say goodbye and they will adjust comfortably.

Early walkways through London

London is a city that is open for all, welcomes with all the favours you require and it is a city that has so many places, cultural systems and multi-tasking platforms that can certainly make your day if you are about to begin a cultural tournament like European Quiz Championship for which as a field activity we the Indian Visually Impaired team took upon ourselves to explore and have some joy in the city.Usually we arrived here in the early morning through two connecting flights and were certainly tired thus getting a stay to get fresh closer to the airport through support of Indian Quiz Federation was a great venture and we took upon ourselves to have some rest, have some vegetarian feast for ourselves and have great tastes. From there on we have to decide where we should stay for next five days, have to plan our whole field routine between the complete tournament with our hopes to go forward and thence after 2 hours of rest and comfort we took a cab and started our adventure in such a prominent city. The team that is known for certain natural ventures and cultural moves is a certain great habit to have and thence we planned our four different ways for the whole day with some prominent names joining us later and we settled it first visiting through the Tems river, then going closer to the seashore, Thence closing on our trip with some steep pillar areas and ultimately to visit famous hot spots of the city in the eve that was going to be a great experience. In such plans, we first analysed how much has been settled by the board for the travel ventures, discussed with our management how to be comfortable with some prominent names of international fames joining us and also let them know what we were up for that should be perfect to make the day for sure. Once that was all clear, it was not big deal to settle the adventures and before doing that we gradually settled for a short brunch, observed some local nature based commitments for environment and after having both steps we now looked forward for a glorius day coming ahead in such a city like London with lot of joy to be part of indeed. Our trip of the day started with having lot of joy as a team with some great names across Tames river where we had short under-water fun session and we also enjoyed boating, river-rafting and Kayaking which was all great experience to cherish as a group bonding session as a team. Once that was over we headed towards the sea shore and there at the beach we took over a task to perform as a  nature based activity collecting recycling products and using them to recycle with certain machines available which was a group activity once again and made our delight increase a lot having it done accordingly. After having the activities closer to water sports, we retreived back for a short lunch and having vegetarian cooked food for us as a team thence we headed towards some Pillar-owned places with historic essence where we explored with our hands and devices, talked with local guides about their evidence-based maturity and had lot of laughter pulling each other leg as a team. Finally after these three trips were over, the last one was approaching and we took upon ourselves to have another cab ride with two guides for us who stopped the cab on every local venture to explore and it was a great community view of London we had by their support which was all at large great fun to have with group activities and happy atmosphere allalong that is always energetic before any tournament to come and make impact. Ultimately the joy of outdoor fun was over and the formal procession to face the best was approaching soon which meant that European Quiz Championship was not far to begin and it was few hours before we would again sit amongst those all and would be competing but before as a team we gathered closer to the place where we are going to spend our five days as stay and we found some local experts enjoying musical play which we listened on and refreshed our  mood before such formal activity from next day would begin. We confirmed to the officials of the stay rooms that we would have five day settlement in the place and the financial expert of the team paid the official charges with a small help by me as a captain as a group contribution, had some joy with the team before going in to sleep and after having quick pieces of vegetarian supper which is our core demand the night was now approaching fast and we were getting ready to do our best. By all means it was a great day outdoor, we had lot of joy as a group with some prominent names of global respect also joining us and before going to sleep we texted them online thanking their presence and with smiles all over they also responded great. By all accounts now the only hope is to do well in the tournament, As a captain  am assured that we only have to focus our goal coming ahead and let's hope we must perform up to our expectations all over the globe, till more happy moments come by with great furver It's cheers from charlie...

The Blue Moon Day is that Once in a Blue Moon day story which questions an individual’s priorities, ridicules the worldly routines and finally redefines happiness. My TakeThe cover is attractive enough to catch attention. It’s one of the best I’ve come across in recent times. The Title of the book The Blue Moon Day is catchy and completely justifying the story. They complement each other well and also is according to the story, so it’s a perfect combination. It’s always great to read a book when it not only has an interesting cover and title but a great story as well. The story consist of 5 different stories have a different protagonist but there is a common connection among each of the five protagonists was old man in different name. Pizza Engineer, The Messenger, Not Today, The Story Teller, Heaven and last they all come together at The Blue Moon Day. Out of this five short stories The Storyteller is my favorite part. The plot is unique; the storyline is gripping as well as intriguing and the narrative takes the story forward flawlessly. Okinawa: A trip to relax in nature's lap
 27 June 2019
Art

Usually, I am the kind of person who is very much attached to his/her personalized room and don't feel comfortable in any other setup. And that is the reason why I avoid trips which requires me to stay in hotels or Airbnb. But, recently I discovered something new about me. In fact, just two weeks back, I, with my friends decided to visit Okinawa (a prefecture in Japan). Okinawa is considered as one of the blue zones in the world. We booked our flights, reserved resorts, packed some of our vegetarian food (some times it's difficult to get vegetarian food in Japan especially if you are not in Tokyo) and started our journey. As per the government norms, Wednesday is considered as no overtime day in Japan so that day, you get the privilege of leaving the office early. So we started our journey on Wednesday evening. Our itinerary was such that we could get enough time to relax instead of just touching every single tourist places. Generally, it is recommended to have a driving license and rent a car to roam around in Okinawa. But since none of us was having an international driving license so we prepared an itinerary to visit those places which can be reached by bus or ship. The best part of traveling in Japan is that you can rely on Google Maps. Okinawa is surrounded by ocean and located in the south, so the place is a bit humid and hot compared to Tokyo (you don't need to wear shrugs or jackets during the spring season).Day 1And the very first day itself weather wanted us to roam in blue and yellow raincoats as it was a kind of rainy day with a thunderstorm (very common in Japan). After getting ready and wearing the nice dress we had to put on raincoats...it was nature's order we can't help it.Okinawa world (Theme park)The moment I stepped into the cave, I was wonderstruck by the beauty of nature and effort of Japanese sculptors who would have carved down that cave. It recalled me of class 6th geography when we had studied about calcium deposits referred to as stalactites and stalagmites. At that time, I used to think that whether in my life will I be able to see these in real or not? And see, it happened! The cave was quite long and it was conveniently designed with proper lightings and pathways so that people can roam around and enjoy the beautiful formations. You can watch some hot springs also running on one side of the cave. I felt like I am in a palace which has been specially designed for tourism but no, all these structures were formed naturally. Nature is beyond our imagination. Just for your information, it takes 3 years for a stalactite to grow by 1 mm.  Also, if you are a person who likes beer then you are most welcome in Okinawa to have a sip of "Habu" snake sake (beer) :P                                                         Snake sake as omiyage (souvenir)!Day 2We started from Naha in the early morning so as to reach Motobu before noon.Emerald Beach (in Motobu)Forenoon and the beautiful beach sounds an amazing combination no?! I don't have any word to explain the beauty of white sand and blue seawater, you can see it by yourself.Meeting the Japanese standard of cleanliness, the beach was extremely clean and beautiful with the spread of white sand underneath the blue seawater, shining like the bed of emerald in the sunlight. I felt that I could spend my days and nights just sitting beside the sea, enjoying the view and listening to the sound of waves hitting the shore (only if I get paid for doing so :P).Churaumi AquariumThis aquarium is considered to have the world's second-largest water tank. This was my second visit to any aquarium, so for me, it was amazing to see small colorful fishes, coral reefs and big fish like a whale shark. You can see a wide variety of aquatic animals here or in fact, you will discover some new aquatic animals which may not be known to you till the date..that is what happened with us.Also, there are some open areas where you can touch small fishes like starfish. You can feel the hard stone-like stiff body of starfish. And, if you are at the correct time then you may get an opportunity to watch the feeding show. Basically, you can see how they feed 55000 kg whale shark by the filter-feeding method. There were many shows but because of time constraints, we couldn't cover up all the shows. The last thing to watch that day was the Dolphin show. I feel that Dolphins are not just fish but they are the sweetest and cheerful creature among aquatic animals. If you are feeling tired or low just get a ticket to the nearby aquarium and watch the dancing Dolphins. Dolphins are like drama queen only, they will definitely cheer you up and seeing their dance and act, you will definitely burst into laughter.Day 3We had kept this day especially to cover up some of the famous beaches which were on the way from Motobu to Naha. Though because of the rain and thunderstorm, we skipped a few and preferred to stay inside the bus.Cape ManzanoAgain, the clean dark blue water hitting the rocks to carve out a beautiful structure. Till that day, I had seen blue water only in painted sceneries, which used to have no relation with real existence. The rock formation near the beach was looking like the head of an elephant. People over there were busy taking photos and selfies while I felt completely lost in paying gratitude to the Creator for such an amazing beautiful creation. I wanted to absorb everything ... the air ... the scenic beauty with blue water, greeneries and rocks all around ... and the mystic sound of waves ...everything was so pacifying to my soul.  At that moment, I wanted to capture all those feelings, senses and emotions in my memory forever. After Cape Manzano, we roam around a few other beaches before taking our final bus to Naha. Thus the closing evening of the trip passed away. We reached Naha airport and took our flight back to Tokyo. Once again continuing life in between skyscrapers. My one-liner for Okinawa  -  Amazingly beautiful place to relax in the lap of nature! My learning -  It is a foolish idea to judge something without exploring it because you never know what transformation can happen next. I discovered that I had a wrong perception about myself and I love long-duration trips. These trips give you the opportunity to create more memories to cherish upon and to daydream sitting in front of your computer at the office desk.Message - Steal a few days from your busy schedule, pack your bags and start your journey to explore yourself.
