I am inspired by every step of my life, every moments of nature and every natural object. Moreover, I am inspired by my failure. I think getting inspired at every moment is in the subconscious mind of everybody. When a child starts walking, he falls many times before its success. At the dawn I think ah! There is again another new hope after a dark night. The bright light of Sun ray and the calm beams of moon inspire me to be impartial to everybody. When I see the flying birds, the animals gazing in the field, I think they are having nothing with them. Still they do not deviate from their nature. So, why should I, where I have a roof on my head, a monthly salary to meet my basic needs? The same thing I think in my office (which is a small cabin, where there is no electricity). In the midsummer, when day to day life is disturbed due to excess heat, I do manage by a small hand fan to avoid sweating. But at the same time when I see the trolley pullers with load of vegetables or groceries or some other things, I get inspired. My situation looks negligible before them. When I do listen the song of calmness and sound of quietness in the darkness of night my heart fills with pleasure. I feel the beauty of night. The fragrance of scented flowers fills my heart with pleasure. If there is no darkness, how could these beauties of nature would have come? A red ant gathers food for the rainy season; small white ants could make an anthill. So, why can not I struggle? My parents inspired me in every step of my life. They always tell me to march forward, not to look behind. My siblings give the assurance of their presence at every step of my life. And the sentence, “I am with you” being told by my dear one gives me the feeling that I am not alone. There are so many inspiring hands with me.The flowing river tells me that I have a great aim ahead to meet. If there is power in the small wing of the birds to touch the sky, why not my strong legs could march forward? If the tiny droplets can make a large ocean, if the little sands help to make a big desert, why can not I helpful for the society?Last but not the least I am inspired by my failure. Because failure is the pillar stone of my success. My mother always tells that Bheemas (a character of Mahabharata, one among the Pandavas) are defeated in the first war. In my course of life, when I meet with failure at any time, the voice of my parents inspired me to march forward, in the hope of betterment in future.
The Final Frontier has something before it that should matter more to you.
Wash your utensils with this dish-cleaner and sparkle your relationships…There is saffron in the soap…There is chocolate in this shampoo… there are almonds in the face cream!Drink this tea and refresh your relationships…Drink this soft-drink and live without fear…What fools are we, at times!!!All along, some of us have wasted our time; many precious years of life, trying to find out how to lead a perfect life… Probably, you too must have spent hours, trying to understand relationships, love and life. How stupid we have been… All we could have done is to switch on the Television, and sit before it with total faith. Yes, with total faith in our advertisements!!! We could have had the keys to all that we ever wanted in life. The key to beauty; to success; to a happy family life; the key to popularity and the key to health and blossoming relationships—all could have been at our feet in a matter of a few hours… How very silly of us, that we work hard and undergo ordeals and struggles, to fulfil our aspirations!God, bless us. We know not how innocent we are! The noble companies and even nobler advertising agencies are crying hoarse, and trying to better our lives. And, we don’t take them seriously? Using music, Bollywood stars and attractive photography—they spend crores trying to make all our dreams come true, and we do not take the ads seriously?Didn’t they tell us…Spray this deodorant and girls will fall head-over-heels in love with you…Eat this cereal and your husband will start noticing you…Add this in your children’s milk and they will become great scientists!Use this fairness cream and the most handsome and eligible bachelor will be at your feet…If you drink a particular beverage daily, your Boss will be impressed and you could take a trophy home for outstanding performance…It is all so clearly stated. The world of TV Ads is a great teacher. Just sit down… relax… and carefully watch the ads. We can learn how to magically swirl ten mouth-watering dishes—one or two each for every family member and yet, not a drop of sweat shall we shed or a strand of hair move. How? Because the secret, as we would learn, would lay in the dish-washing soap!Have you not seen the ad which teaches us that if we use a particular washing-powder, husband and wives would love each other more? How? Because, the clothes would become softer and so would the hands of the lady….But, what if the washing powder is used by the maid? Would her husband love her more, or ours???? Women, take note of this puzzle!!!Oh no! How much time have we wasted trying to seriously think on some matters, whereas the solutions and lessons were all so very simple!Had we known this secret earlier, we would have had the pleasure of seeing our mothers always young, fresh and happy despite their daily laborious chores. We could have had friends drooling over our looks, and we could have made smarter choices!!! Our brain could have been sharper; our nails and hair glistening; our clothes smarter; our body odour captivating; our sleep peaceful; our taste buds rejuvenated and of course, our relationships, happier. How innocent we have been… Imagine, the key to freedom from pimples, wrinkles, and fine lines was just a remote away!Use this tooth paste-- dance and swirl and live happily thereafter…Take a loan from our bank and we will help you discover the real ‘you’…This toilet cleaner will sparkle your bathroom and your life…There are easy and readymade formulae for increasing the growth of the brain of our children… There are easy solutions for killing germs in ten seconds!! And then, our children would never fall ill even if they gulp pizzas or burgers daily. Wish we could have sat before the televisions with total faith…. We could have given our children filtered water (using modern complicated processes) and they could have topped in their respective classrooms. Are you one of those who were searching in vain for means to raise your self-esteem? Well, did you not know that with a certain brand of tea, courage and confidence comes; and with a certain soft-drink—come tumbling out clever and creative ideas? A certain can of paint is what it takes or perhaps, a bathroom-freshner to raise your esteem in the eyes of your neighbours… Ha, how easy it is, isn’t it?Watch the Advertisements for solutions to all your problems… for answers to all your questions!!! It is not too late.Ah, by the way—have you been looking for a way out to please your in-laws? Oh, ohhh…. All you had to do was prove your intelligence by using a particular mosquito coil, and pride would have surfaced in their eyes and they would have hugged you happily!!!
An extraction from my reading experience, which converted me a writer. I cannot spend a single day without writing, even though I had to get up in the midnight to do it. Though, there is not much progress in my professional career now, but I feel writing converted me to an absolutely different personality. “Ordinary people seek entertainment. Extraordinary people seek education and learning.” -Benjamin Hardy Most people are distracted right now. They’re distracted while they’re at work. They’re distracted when they’re with family and friends. They’re distracted at the gym, on their commute, and even in the shower. The mediocre majority will continue going through life this way, never experiencing the fullness of a life filled with deep focus and purpose. Most people don’t prioritize learning and creating. They don’t care enough about any efforts to invest in their personal development and growth.Entertainment is more important. Most people have replaced achieving their life dreams and goals with TV, partying, and social media.Their life is characterized by entertainment and distraction, not learning and creating. As a result, they don’t have close relationships. They’re stuck in jobs they hate. Their life is on the fast-track to disappointment, and they don’t know what to do.Benjamin Hardy once said, “Entertainment and distraction is the enemy of creation and learning. They will keep you in mediocrity.”If you don’t want to end up living a life of mediocrity, focus on learning and education. It’s the fastest way to become extraordinary, wealthy, and successful. The Quality of Your Learning Determines the Quality of Your Success“Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development, because success is something you attract by the person you become.” -Hal ElrodYour income, relationships, and success are determined by your learning. Most people spend more money on entertainment and gadgets than self-education. This is why they remain poor and broke with superficial relationships. The quality of your learning and how much you invest in yourself directly determines the extent of your growth. In the words of Ryan Holiday:“The extent of the struggle determines the extent of the growth.”You are defined by what you’re willing to struggle for. Most people aren’t willing to really struggle for anything. They blindly accept what they’re given, and spend their free time disengaging from reality.Renowned motivational speaker Jim Rohn once said the most successful people in the world are always lifelong learners. They fully understand that their level of education directly determines their quality of life.“Formal education makes a living, but self-education makes a fortune,” Rohn explained. It’s not just about a college degree. Most of what you learn in college isn’t applicable to real-world success. It’s your self-education, the kind of learning that helps you develop into the next evolution of yourself. Most people will continue to go through life “in quiet desperation, with their songs left unsung.” Others dictate their income, their happiness, and their fulfillment. If you don’t want to end up with regret on your death-bed, choose self-education over entertainment.“You’ve got to wake up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.” George LarimerWe Attract the Things That Reflect Who We AreDarren Hardy, author of The Compound Effect, once told a story about how he ended up with his wife. When he was in his 20’s, he began compiling an enormous list of every attribute he wanted his future wife to have. He eventually filled 40 pages detailing the most exquisite and perfect match he could think of.At the end of his writing, he realized something very important:Any woman like that wouldn’t want to have anything to do with someone like him!Hardy realized he needed to become a far better version of himself to attract a woman like that. You must become a far better version of yourself to achieve the enormous success you want.Benjamin Hardy put it this way: “We attract into our lives what we are.” Ask yourself — if you want a million dollars, do you have the mindset of a millionaire? Do you have the financial knowledge and self-discipline to own that kind of money? Most people don’t, yet they continue complaining about being poor. You’ll never become a millionaire if you don’t become someone who could be a millionaire!Every day, millions of people attract mediocre opportunities into their lives — jobs, time investments, dating partners, etc. — not realizing they are attracting exactly who they are!Extremely successful people are magnets of extraordinary opportunities. They are individuals who gravitate towards success, because they are successful themselves. If you constantly engage in mediocre, subpar activities with toxic individuals, you’ll only receive similar opportunities. You’ll never experience the type of success of the world’s most extraordinary people, because success is something you attract by the person you become.“Every next level of your life will demand a different you.” -Leonardo DiCaprioStep Forward Into Growth or Backwards Into Security“It’s absurd that we would prioritize the hottest new device, the cool car, or trendy toy over owning that which makes us feel the most engaged and most alive.” -Neil PatelC.S. Lewis once described humans this way: “We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.”You do not have the luxury to “wait” to improve. Like an egg, you’ll either progress into a new version of yourself, or go rotten. There is no other way. Most people continue choosing security and safety over the choice to become the fullest version of themselves.Said Louis Sachar:“So, what’s it going to be — safety, or freedom? You can’t have both.”Right now, you have the choice — step forward into growth and development, or step backwards into safety and security. Most people step backward, slowly killing their chances to become extraordinary.Seth Godin once said, “The problem is that our culture has engaged in a Faustian bargain, in which we trade our genius and artistry for apparent stability.”The sad truth is: there’s no such thing as security. Money can be taken away (how many times have you heard of a multi-millionaire going bankrupt?). Our health could fail at any time. Millions of people are abruptly fired or laid off every year.Security isn’t real.We must choose to design our own life, and let go of our addiction to “apparent stability.” If you’ve traded your genius and creativity for “stability,” it’s time to get those back.“The goal of life is not to relax on the beach, sipping mojitos all day. The purpose is to find something you love that adds value to the world.” -Ben FoleyMost People Won’t Ever Experience True Success“The mediocre have a very narrow perception of reality, and in turn, their lives. They see things as they are, not how they can be.” -Ryan HolidayLearning and self-education aren’t popular. Most people don’t read books, attend seminars, or take even the most basic steps for self-improvement. They would rather choose distraction and entertainment. Most people will never be successful because they will spend their life this way. With just a few small changes to your life, you could enter into the top 5% — 10% of your field. The competition is extremely low! Amazing, extraordinary opportunities are abundant, because so few people ever take the steps to discover them. You can become one of the few truly successful people in the world by taking your self-education and learning seriously. In a world of mediocrity, you can become extraordinary with only a few simple tweaks. So how do you start? The more you keep evolving in better versions of yourself, the more you’ll need to be focused on the things that are most important.Your days must be characterized by high-quality activities and behaviors.Benjamin Hardy put it this way: “Success is continuously improving who you are, how you live, how you serve, and how you relate.”James Altucher once said, “Every day, check these 4 boxes: Have I improved 1% on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health?”You can start small. Even the smallest improvement is more than most people will ever see. While most people change slowly and unconsciously over time, you can begin taking control of your success by choosing to make a few small improvements. That’s all it takes. If You Want to Live an Extraordinary Life, You Need to Give Up a Normal One“If you want to live an extraordinary life, you have to give up many of the things that are part of a normal one.” -Srinivas RaoExtraordinary people are very uncommon. Their lifestyle of learning and self-education aren’t popular, either. Odds are, once you begin investing in yourself, you’ll find it’s a lonely road.Todd Henry wisely said, “The more bold you are, the more rejection you’ll experience.” The mob of the majority doesn’t like deserters. If you want an extraordinary life, you’ll need to give up many parts of the “normal” life. That might mean giving up common toxic behaviors or hanging out with toxic people. If “everyone does it,” you’d do well to give it a long, hard look. Most people will never achieve an extraordinary life. That’s OK. The extraordinary life isn’t for everyone. Learning and self-education take time, energy, and focus that most people would rather spend on entertainment and distraction — “ordinary” things.“Great” opportunities cost “good” ones; you can’t have both.Said Benjamin Hardy:Before you evolve, you can reasonably spend time with just about anyone. You can reasonably eat anything placed in front of you.You can reasonably justify activities and behaviors that are, frankly, mediocre. But as your vision expands, you realize you need to make adjustments. You can’t spend your money on junk anymore. You need to manage your time much more diligently. You need to invest in yourself and your future. To avoid mediocrity, you can’t continue being with negative people. You can’t keep eating crappy foods that slow you down. You can’t do many of the things you used to do.This is what extraordinary requires. Most people see the price and simply say “no thanks.”But you can do anything if you pay the price.“Every skill you acquire doubles your odds of success.” -Scott AdamsIn Conclusion“Who you are is a result of who you were, but where you end up depends entirely on who you choose to be from this moment forward.” -Hal ElrodThere are probably dozens of things you do on a daily basis that aren’t helping you improve. Most people live their lives on other people’s terms. Their days are spent working on other people’s goals and following the rules of someone else.Entertainment and distraction rule society. There will never be a shortage of TV shows, Buzzfeed articles, or Bad Lip Reading videos to take up your time.If you want to avoid mediocrity and achieve enormous success, you must cut out distractions and prioritize learning instead. Most people will go their whole lives as a slave to entertainment. They prioritize entertainment over improving their life, their family’s well-being, and their hopes and dreams. This is how people can stay at jobs they hate for years. It’s how people stay in toxic relationships and remain perpetually broke. They don’t bother learning how to succeed. If your lifestyle does not add to your growth and improvement, it will bring you down.Prioritize learning. Invest in self-education.Choose success over mediocrity.
It wont be wrong if I say that 2017 was a time period, in which I explored myself with many such qualities which were hindering my self-exploration since my birth. On particular rough days, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days, so far is 100% and that’s pretty good. I welcomed a new morning by forgiving everyone, who were the cause of my all these days. Inner peace began, the moment I chose not to allow another event or person or the complete world to control my emotion. When I realized this, I started accepting some of my qualities such as stubbornness, emotional, introvert and caring in a positive way, because of which I had suffered my life in a negative way. I stopped explaining myself, when I realized people only understand from their level of perception. So, I was able to completely come out from the ‘Log Kya Kahenge’ attitude. Me, Myself and My writings… that’s all got at the end.I thank to everyone who were my co-passengers of this journey, my toastmaster family, my Trifecta family, my office colleagues and at last but not the least, my own family, my tiny fishes, flower plants and my cute pug…A special thank goes to you who taught me about meditation and encouraged me to follow my passion. Though some of your words were pinching me like the prickles of a cactus, but I tried to go to the depth of those and took a challenge to make you realize next time that the time has come for you to throw one more prickle word towards me. Thanks for all the comments which were coming from an unspoken and unseen energy, pushing me to climb another step up of the ladder of my life,.Going to start a new year with again some unexpected, unwanted and not much encouraging circumstances. Again, let’s see, how the year 2018 is becoming one more milestone in my self-exploration.
o deal with the aftermath of a relationship, unforgettable and impossible in equal parts, I started to look for a book with the hope I mentioned, to find my story in its pages, only to be torn between two Booker winning masterpieces. Coetze's 'Disgrace' and Flanagan's ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’.

Free from ego, free from desires, free from the quotidian in life. Does not get perturbed by the challenges offered by life, does not surrender to the vagaries of the heart. Sees the manifestation of the divine in all beings, resists the tyranny of nature and refuses to follow the crowd. A yogi is on a quest for ‘the truth’, not a self-constructed one, but one received from the master in true humility.
Many, many years ago, a sage was meditating on a Himalayan peak. Majestic dales and solitary vales sprawled around were all aglow with the divine streak.Though the birds chirped songs, and rain poured down in throngs, he was unmovable, lost in a deep trance. In winters, icy cold storms blew and the snow around and over him was all aglow with its chilling primitiveness. His soul but was safe somewhere in the cosy warmth of transcendental realisation. In autumn, wind-fallen leaves sailed down with slumberous tumble, and ripe fruits fell proudly, adventurously for a juicy, pleasant crumble. He still was somewhere else when the nature opened these marvellous jewels from her treasure trove. In spring, wild flowers fully unfurled their fragrance and smile, and honey-bees engaged in dawn to dusk toil. He but was unmoved and transported into a state where the ecstasies of natural bounties don’t mean anything anymore.Summer’s warm days sprayed desultory, eerie uneasiness around, and cool nights proudly embraced this son with his soul heaven-bound. Still it didn’t matter. He was undisturbed and was silently moving on his meditative path.Once it was a full moon autumn night. A fairy was flying amid milky delight. A perfect calmness pervaded the solitary vales. Everything was asleep, bathed in the softest fluffy shades of white. The fairy flew low over the peaks glowing under the moonlight. The seer was lost in his trance in front of his cave, the beauty of nature sprawled around meaningless to him.She saw him and hovered around the sanctimonious air of his sagehood. A small, harmless mischief rustled in her young, innocent heart. She circled in the air above him. Her laughter touched the milky sea around and created soft ripples. Her unbelievably soft dress rustled in the gentle breeze born of her circles. It but did not have any effect on him. He was engrossed too deep in the cosmic balance beyond the sensory contradictions and dualities. The more she looked, the more was the urge in her to bring him back to the beauty of this world, to fetch him from the deep ocean where his soul had dived. His exquisitely masculine physique and persona created tempted sparks on her magic stick. She tried all juicily leering feminine tricks. But her desire-lorn swirls in the air failed to move him even a bit. Helplessly she descended onto the earth. There were almost tears of helplessness in her beautiful eyes. She sat in front of him with those rose-red lips pursed in a heart-breaking frown. Her marvellous eyes were lost in his handsome, bearded, well sculpted face. It was mesmerizing. There was not a single worldly trace on his face. She herself was caught in a trance and lost the sense of time and the laws of the fairyland. The night sped away as if in a jiffy. The day rose. The sun arrived with full earthly delight. There was terror in her eyes. The hope to return to her realm died. She had broken the law of her land by not returning on the same night after the brief terrestrial sojourn. The realisation crashed against her soft self like a thunderbolt. Her utmost sensuous bare shoulders heaved under the tremors of this unpardonable fault. A cry involuntarily tore through her slender throat. And then it was a still bigger violation. His serenely flowing meditative phrase met this sinful, full-stopping dot. His communion with the divinity was broken. His long-closed eyes opened. The world of his penance lay scattered. His fiercely burning eyes stared at the flower in sobs and sighs. Her large, flooded eyes pleaded for mercy. But the fire in his unforgiving eyes was unrelenting and cursing. The fabric of his serenity was torn. The sage thundered, “You proud, vain woman of egoistic beauty, become an ugly bush of thorns!”Mowed down by the spell of his cursing energy, an ugly bush stood in place of that angelic beauty. All shaken and ravaged, he left the place. A thorny branch, meanwhile, got entangled in his loin cloth, as if for meek, pleading forgiveness and brace. He but scornfully jerked it apart and headed to some other place for a new start.Time then took to its heels on swift horses. The seasons changed. The spring’s colourful patterns were rearranged. The summer’s warm kisses melted the snows. The autumn’s harvest uncomplainingly fell to the air’s chiding blows. The winter’s snowy blanket covered the peaks. And rains lashed down in stormy freaks. This pleasant wavering of nature, however, couldn’t shake the sage from the meditative maze high there in the hills. Faraway down the hills, the accursed bush was shrouded in thorny haze. It struggled to sprout fruits and flowers. Even cursing has a testing time against soft, innocent glow of purity. How can something having a fairy core remain ugly and thorny for too long? Her pure soul entombed in that thorny shrine prayed for penance. And see, a flower of her fruits sprouts forth!A flower blossomed among the thorns. So beautiful! It lit up with life among the thorns and deadly pale dark brown branches. It appeared juxtaposed by a miracle, like it had dropped from the heaven and got stuck there. It was the day when the enlightened sage arrived from the north. Contented with his cosmic realisation, he came down the beautiful dale. As he passed the bush, his purified soul sensed the thorny shrub’s plaintive wail. His feet disobeyed him and he couldn’t move. The lone flower among the thorns fell at his feet in holy-most obeisance and greet. He picked it up and was lost in its fragrance. The thorn was ugly. The flower so beautiful and fragrant! What contradiction! Flowery heaven and thorny hell together! The latter born of his cursing condemnation; the flower born of the beauty behind the thorny bars. It was a jolting earthly realisation. Hadn’t he broken the beautifully set laws?Torrents of repentance cut through him. He bid penance at the altar for a long time. His repenting self set around a reformative shrine. His soul drenched in painful chime. He braced the thorns with the love and affection purest of the pure. It gave him bleeding fingers so many times. He caressed and cared for it like it was the beautiful most flowery shrub. He was practicing his penance now, of love, of surrender, of repentance. What else can be bigger than these? When his soul had been salvaged of the sin, nobody could bet against her for a win. There she blossomed in front of him. Beauty, charm and grace filled to the brim. Her smile was forgetting and forgiving. It was the beacon of her penance, of love, of beauty. Inside the stony walls of his heart, a new luminosity was now thriving. The sage embraced her. She, who had been separated from her loved ones, got the earthling she had fallen for. Happiness, bliss and calm opened a new door to the start of a fresh cycle of life, love and humanity. All but the sage had been extinguished by the cataclysm. The lone and forlorn survivor, he had been striking at the doors of heaven with his endless questions. Now there was no more pursuit. The endless had manifested itself in a small sip of love. Now they lived as a man and a woman. New hopes, aspirations and offspring began to thrive. Thus were sown the seeds of another spell and cycle of life, of creation. Their unchecked love in those flowery vales left countless exotic trails. Gurgling brooks gave company to her primordially sensuous laughter. His instinct’s procreating sprouts mingled with the mirthful waters of her receptiveness.
Moira Madhwa cannot be found. She is not in her flat, has not been coming to work and is not answering her phone. Skeletons tumble out of closets, dirty secrets are revealed and each wonders if the other had something to do with her disappearance.
I love, love, love watching crime shows and love more Nordic noir and the temperamental detective, where the moods are as erratic and dark as the plot. Here is a list of a few I watched over the last year which has strong female leads. A few of them are incredibly edge of the seat with a fantastic plot and cast to execute them. And thankfully, the women at the center are not seeking or falling in love with the nearest good-looking man as a respite from (and sometimes at the cost of) their detective duties. They are middle-aged with children or are single and unapologetic about it, much flawed and human, yet brilliant and unwavering in their goal. Check them out and let me know others. This genre, I wish, would grow in multitudes1.The Fall: Gillian Anderson returns to the small screen as Stella Gibson and how brilliant is she? We know both the hunted and the hunter in this slow, moody, psychological thriller and yet, the cat and mouse game is less than predictable. The plot: when a Belfast murder remains unsolved, Stella Gibson (Anderson) is brought in to catch the killer. DSI Gibson soon fears that a murder spree is underway in Belfast and a killer is on the loose. An equally brilliant Jamie Dornan plays serial killer Paul Spector whose identity is known within a few minutes of the first episode, but hey, watch it and tell me if that makes it any less exciting.2. The Killing: Who killed Rosie Larsen (and other questions answered). The Killing is based on the Danish television series Forbrydelsen (The Crime) and stars Detective Sarah Linden and her loyal love-to-hate-you-hate-to-love-you sidekick Stephen Holder (I admit, I fell a bit in love with the damaged piece that was him by the end of it). Each episode ends with a cliffhanger that points of a possible killer who doesn’t turn out to be the one in the next (but of course!). In essence, the show follows the investigation of the murder of local teenager Rosie Larsen but is intertwined with others: the police investigation into the murder, the Larsen family's attempts to deal with their grief, and the fluctuating electoral fortunes of a political campaign that becomes embroiled in the case.3. Happy Valley: Oh, how much do I LOVE BBC’s crime productions? There are five on this list (barring The Killing) and I say without hesitation they have mastered the art (or science or what have you). Happy Valley is set in the Calder Valley and Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) plays a strong-willed police sergeant, still coming to terms with the suicide of her daughter, Becky, eight years earlier. She is now bringing up Becky's young son, Ryan, the product of rape. Catherine hears that Tommy Lee Royce, the man responsible for the brutal rape that impregnated Becky and drove her to suicide shortly after Ryan was born, is out of prison after serving eight years for drug charges. Catherine becomes obsessed with finding Royce, unaware that he is involved in the kidnapping of a young girl—Ann Gallagher. Things get worse as the kidnappers try to hide their tracks and Catherine grows neurotically persistent.4. Vera: Based on the Vera Stanhope novels by bestselling author Ann Cleeves, Vera (starring Brenda Blethyn in the titular role) is an employee of the fictional Northumberland and City Police. She is obsessive about her work and driven by her own demons. She plods along in a constantly disheveled state but has a calculating mind, and despite her irascible personality, she cares deeply about her work and comrades (-- from Wikipedia). Everything about her screams motherly and cantankerous, yet she is a formidable force to watch. And you will grow very fond of her by the end of it.5. The Honourable Woman: Not a detective series this but I couldn’t help adding it to the list. THW is a political spy thriller which is so nail-bitingly good, you have to watch now. It features Maggie Gyllenhaal in the title role (isn’t that the new, happy trend: small screen revival projects for the out-of-work or fading big screen stars?). She won a Golden Globe for it. Totally deserved, may I add? Gyllenhaal plays Anglo-Jewish businesswoman Nessa Stein who eight years earlier became the new head of the Stein Group after her brother abruptly stepped down. As she continues her work to maintain the Middle East peace process, old secrets come to the fore and bodies pile up. The stakes are raised high when Kasim, the son of Atika, Nessa's friend as well as Ephram Stein's Palestinian housekeeper, is kidnapped.6. Top of the Lake: Okay, to be honest, this is not one of my favorites. I thought the plot fell a bit flat towards the end. But the characters and the settings are quirky and unique and the whimsical style of storytelling reasons enough to watch. The drama stars Elizabeth Moss (someone I admired in Mad Men and will, till the end of life, know as Peggy Olson). She plays Detective Robin Griffin, a Sydney police officer returning to her remote New Zealand hometown of Laketop, facing the crimes surrounding the pregnancy and disappearance of a local 12-year-old girl, Tui.7. Spiral (Engrenages): Another one to add to the list is the French BBC Drama - Spiral: Engrenages - broadcast on Canal+. It stars two powerful female characters: a quirky, obsessed, but brilliant female Police Captain Laure Berthaud, and a ruthless, corrupt and beautiful female lawyer Joséphine Karlsson, both caring less about the many feathers they ruffle. These female characters are primary to the plot and rarely was their gender invoked in relation to their job role or position of power. This feminist observation apart, the 12 part series is gripping: the characters etched out in great detail (I felt for each of them in their individual disasters and triumphs), their relationships and challenges realistic, and the three subplots cleverly executed and tied together. A minor quibble was the need to look at the subtitles constantly, but I swear by end of it I could speak a little bit of French myself.8. Marcella: Err... another British television crime noir detective series. Yeah, mea culpa, but I do like them so much! They are astonishingly atmospheric—a trait I look for in everything I read or watch—the cast and setting need to grow on me. The series stars Anna Friel as Marcella Backland, a former London detective who is asked to return to work to investigate an unsolved case from eleven years ago involving an unidentified serial killer who appears to have become active again. What I love best is she is un-coplike, almost vulnerable and thus, very relatable. Series 2 started airing in Feb, 2018 and I can’t wait for it to come to Netflix.Homeland and House of Cards are the other two wildly popular series with strong female leads. Might I also dare add Game of Thrones season 6? Finally, we have women sailing to conquer worlds and play both the hero and the villain. We have come a long way.But you know what else I wish for now? That the victims of these murders are not women! YES, let’s write a book or make a TV series where the victims of the serial killer is not a WOMAN? Yes, yes, please? I know, we make a pretty picture no matter what, but let’s not have any more cowering and whimpering. Just for a change.About the writer: Smita Bhattacharya is an author based out of Mumbai. She has a particular soft spot for psychological thriller novels and TV series. Her latest novel, Dead to Them, was released in January 2018 and is currently garnering rave reviews. Have we got mixed up with our goals and the means to achieve those goals? Most of us have. Wake up before time runs out !...Unhappy and frustrated with recent exam results at school, my elder one was desperately looking forward to something that could soothe her mind. It is not only about kids and exams, it could be you and your career, you and your business, your life, your relations, your passion. Whatever be it, in most cases we seemed to have mixed up with our life's goals and the means to achieve those goals. Don't believe me? Look out for yourself."Dad, now don’t tell me that results do not matter. I know that efforts are more important. But still I am not feeling good...", said a disappointed Arushi."Well, the fact is that results do matter. However, they are not in our control. Our efforts also matter. The beauty of focusing on the efforts is that efforts are always in our control. In any case, let me share with you a story of one of my friends in the United States - that should probably make you feel better...""William Richards was one of my colleagues when we were in the USA. We call him Bill. And you know people there - they are so fond of taking long breaks from the mundane job, and going on for adventures like biking, hiking, boating, flying, and what not.""Ah! Those US days...", remarked Arushi with a glee in her eyes."Yeah...so, this guy – Bill, took a three-week vacation after we signed a new contract with the client. All of us had worked very hard for this, and we all deserved a break. Bill decided to walk up the mountains.""Ok...Is it around the same time we went to Disney World?", inquired Arushi."Yes, exactly, we also took that 3-week break..OK, so when Bill was back after 3 weeks,he explained me about an incident that was strangely disturbing for him.""What was that?""Bill told me that during one of the days when he was climbing one of the toughest peaks. That day was particularly rough for him. He had been climbing since last 6 hours and it was late in the afternoon already. He was literally sweating in the snow, his legs were paining, his shoulders were aching...He was finding it really tough. But of course, he did not have a choice at that time. While all that was happening, he heard a noise of a helicopter quite close to him. When the sound of the whirling helicopter blades increased further, he just looked up and was amazed to see what he saw.""What was there?""It was one of his friends and his neighbor Ronnie on the helicopter...Ronnie was a rich man, also fond of mountains.""Ah ok..""They waived at each other, and then Ronnie shouted that he was going to the M4 peak...Bill said he was too...""OK..."Ronnie then waived Bill to come over to the helicopter and he offered to throw the ladder down to pick him up. Bill was confused whether he should take this offer."C’mon Bill. We have the same goal. We can use his helicopter as a means to achieve this goal faster. What are you thinking? I started just 15 min back and we will be there at the M4 peak in next 5 minutes.""Then, did Bill accept his friends offer?""No, Bill did not. And whether Bill accepted the offer or not is irrelevant. The strange part was this. At that moment, Bill said that he definitely felt very frustrated, sad and hopeless.""That’s obvious Dad...Bill has been climbing for hours together and was in pain. His friend did all that in 15 minutes - just because his friend could afford to rent a helicopter.""It is not obvious my child. It is the core issue.”“Issue, what issue?”“Here is what the issue us. If Bill felt sad seeing his friend go past him and reach the peak in no time with least effort, then I am sorry to say that Bill has got completely messed up with his goals and the means to achieve the goal.""How?""OK. what do you think was Bill’s goal?""To reach the mountaintop.""Again, we always get it wrong here. That is the issue. We get so messed up. Think again why did he take the vacation? At that point when Ronnie was waving at him, Bill thought that reaching the top is the goal and climbing are the means to achieve the goal, while actually, it is exactly the reverse. Think. The climb is the goal and the mountaintop is the means that help him achieve his goal. Did he not take a break to enjoy a few days 'climbing'? The objective was always to climb and enjoy the climb. Now, having said that, remember that the mountaintop is also important, but just as a means. If there was no top, then there would be no climb.""Hmmm....quite interesting.""If he was clear about the goal (climbing), would he be frustrated to see his friend reaching the top faster?""Perhaps, no !""Definitely no. Who reaches the top faster and with how much effort - all this would cease to matter if the goal is to climb. It is just how we look at things. In fact, he should be satisfied that he is already achieving his goal of climbing - which cannot be accomplished in any way via a helicopter.""Interesting Dad....""And now tell me what is your goal when you study - to learn new things and acquire knowledge or to score marks?"Arushi went in thinking mode. It is this self-introspection only that was going to set her perspective right. I let her take her time. After some time, I had to trigger it.."So, let me make it absolutely clear to you. Marks are not the goal at all. Marks are just a means - that help you focus on your main goal - which is to acquire more knowledge, and become wiser. While striving to achieve more marks, your goal is to become knowledgeable and wise – and not the other way round. Let there be no doubt about this. Do not mess up your childhood days in this confusion. Do not do the same mistake that Bill did." "Wow, this does give me a different perspective. But that is not how our teachers and classmates think. They look highly on us only when we get good marks.""Yeah, that is how it is always going to stay - perhaps. They have messed up their lives, and we cannot go and correct everyone around us. It is not feasible. But my advise to you would be not to just follow the herd. The entire herd may be headed to hell."“I get that Dad…I definitely feel better..”Arushi got it. I got it a few years back. Some of you may get it with this post. Some will never get it. Doesn't matter. The end is the same for everyone. But hold....reaching the end of our life is not our goal. Reaching the end is just a means - a reminder - for us to improve, become better, possess more mental strength, exhibit more happiness, elevate someone's life - and these are our goals. Do not get messed up between the goal and the means. On a vacation trip remember that the goal is not to reach the destination, but to enjoy the in-between moments - waiting at the airport, the cab ride with family, the meal at the hotel, the dance party, the scuba dive, the isolated hour at the beach. In a job or a business, the goal is not to reach the next level - but to impact as many people, experience awesome time and relations on the journey. "You always had a goal of financial freedom....", remarked one of my readers."The goal was never to be financially free, Freedom is only a means to reach our goals - of doing what we love doing – writing, planting trees, spending time with children and spouse, taking care of parents, meeting friends - and having an enjoyable life.", I responded.CheersManoj AroraOfficial Website | My Mission
For someone running the last 100 meters of a 42 Km marathon, one sec can seem to be quite a time. On the other hand, to change a simple habit in your life, a decade may seem quite small. Long Term, therefore, is a relative term in life. But it is not so in equity investments. Whether it is mutual funds or stocks, we can define Long Term quite precisely, clearly and objectively - with logical data points.Let us see how.'Being Dead' as an Investment StrategyFidelity Investments recently conducted a study in the US to find out what kind of investments provided the best returns. The results were startling for anyone who feels is a smart investor. The study revealed that the highest returns were from investors who had completely forgotten about their investment for years, or even decades. A good proportion of these investors who were enjoying amazing returns, had actually died a long time ago. The study, therefore, concluded that the most profitable strategy may be to do exactly what a dead person would do - which is nothing. Why should we define 'Long Term'?A long-term investment is often associated with lesserrisk. We just understood from the above study that the longer the term, the lesser the risk - since volatility is averaged out over a period of time.To augment our statement, just have a look at the last 5 year returns of BSE Sensex:9% , 42% , -9% , 16% & 10%The overall annual returns stand at 13%Now, 13% is a fabulous annual return on your investment - but the variability (volatility) is high. During any short period, you could face poor returns - or even losses (as in Year 3). These poor returns are (over)compensated by a great occasional phase (as in Year 2). As you increase the term, the risk will keep reducing. But how long should we keep increasing the Term of investment? For sure, we do not want to die just trying to get good returns. We want to get the returns and use them too - in this lifespan. Isn't the purpose of an investment to get the returns and use the money as well as the returns arising from it? What use is the money if it just keeps growing and you die of old age? The end purpose of money and investments was always to spend it optimally, so as to facilitate happiness in our life. Therefore, to strike a balance, we must define a Long Term investment tenure where we have a fairly reduced risk and we can also use the investment and the returns for the purpose it was intended to. Thus, we should be able to precisely answer the question, "How long is long-term in Equity?"How does our Law define 'Long Term'?Tax Laws are often quite strange, to say the least. Indian IT Act defines Long Term on equity investments after a period of 1 year (12 months). So, does that mean that any equity investment done for more than a year is a truly long-term and therefore, relatively quite safe? Not really!Ironically, on the other hand, any investment done in debt based funds are considered as long-term from a taxation perspective only if you stay invested for at least 3 years. So, are we saying that debt investments are riskier as compared to equity investments - and therefore need a longer duration to average out the risk? It is actually the reverse. Debt based investments are less volatile and therefore less risky as compared to Equity investments. So, we cannot go by the definition of tax laws to define the right tenure of any Long-Term Investments.Defining 'Long Term' logicallyIf you analyze the data for a typical mutual fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 1 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 160% (best 1-year return ever)b) Minimum returns are -57% (worst 1-year return ever)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 2 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 82% (Annualised best return ever - over 2 years period)b) Minimum returns are -34% (Annualised worst return ever - over 2 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 3 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 63% (Annualised best return ever - over 3 years period)b) Minimum returns are -18% (Annualised worst return ever - over 3 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 4 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 59% (Annualised best return ever - over 4 years period)b) Minimum returns are -8% (Annualised worst return ever - over 4 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 5 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 54% (Annualised best return ever - over 5 years period)b) Minimum returns are 4% (Annualised worst return ever - over 5 years period)This means that the minimum annualized returns you could have made annually if you would have invested in the worst possible fund would have been 4%. Do not go by the dwarf-ness of 4% CAGR. Try and understand the significance of this statement. Here is the crux. There was no feasible way that you could have made any loss in equity market if you would have stayed invested for 5 years - since your returns were going to be between 4% and 54%.Let us just go one step ahead. If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 10 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 30% (Annualised best return ever - over 10 years period)b) Minimum returns are 13% (Annualised worst return ever - over 10 years period)Wow !! A worst-case annual returns of 13% !!What else you want equity investments to deliver to you? Of course, that is if you stay invested for 10 years. The above statistics clearly puts the minimum term of investment to be 5 years and the optimum term of investment in equity to be somewhere between 5 and 10 years i.e. 7 years and above. 7+ years is an investment term wherein you get good enough returns with significantly lesser risk. Therefore, in equity investments - long term is not a vague term. It is 7 years+ investment horizon - also validated by 7-year equity cycles.CheersManoj AroraOfficial Website | My Mission
It was 15th March. On her way to Ganesh market, Priyanka found a poor puppy that was passing through the middle of the road and at the same time a girl from opposite side, just came with her two-wheeler and was about to hit that puppy. But Suddenly Priyanka threw everything, jumped and took that puppy away but unfortunately, that two-wheeler hit her that brought her many injuries CV. Still, she forgot about her and curiously searched that puppy and asked the nearby public, “if the puppy is okay if it needs medical help …..”The Puppy raised it's head without making any voice and looked at Priyanka because it was really asking for help. Priyanka was worried about that puppy wherever she herself was badly injured by that two-wheeler. Priyanka reached home with many injuries. After seeing her in such condition, her Mumma badly cried as she was loving her a lot. Dady also came from work and called a doctor to home….her friends came to see her … and all were angry as well as made her fun by saying why she was going to save such a street sided puppy..! But no one was able to read her heart …! In real when Priyanka met that puppy, it had no such name tag or belt tied around its neck. Then It was very dirty and thin but instead of all, it was also very cute. She thought it is a stray dog but unknowingly she went and saved the puppy! Wanted to take it and make it a normal, healthy, happy, Puppy which in reality gives her an opportunity to give life, which was never…..!Priyanka sometimes says "I honestly believe that God sees these creatures being seen by animals as to how anyone can spend in human form! If You have performed well and we must hope that a lot of People will go ahead and learn from you...This is one of the reasons that she comes forward to save them, because dogs are the best friends of humans, and as she said being a valuable animal to get a good life….# Umasankar Sahu #smblogcontest
Dreams have a worldwide language of their own. Each man on the earth dreams for a certain time, every single night. Do your dreams mean something, do they have any connections with real-life prospects? Or are they simply a blend of your flight of fancy?
Review: The Lightning Thief, in Heroes of Olympus, Rick RiordonImagine being a half happy. Being half sad. Being half of any expression or substance and not completely belonging to a clan or community which you can call your own. Imagine not being able to belong anywhere. Percy was one such character.Rick Riordon with his first novel in the series of Percy Jackson And The Olympians crafts one of the best selling fiction books and etches his name in the world of fantasy literature. In his book, the protagonist, Percy Jackson is anatomically, a half blood being. An exciting blend of human and a god.(That consternation when you imagine humans and Gods procreating!) Adapting many characters from the Greek Mythology of heroes and demons, Riordin traverses the readers through a world where the spectator wants to enter this realm of fantasy and live through it.The book starts to make a direct peak in the young readers life, by showing the Jackson’s tough time surviving in school because of his dyslexic nature. After having changed his school umpteen times, he gives up and makes his up his mind to settle and work towards his improvement in his personal and official life. He lives a normal teenage life, with his mother (who is more human than the two parents!) which comes with its own qualms. He tackles his love interest, reads top rated books and struggles in class like you would expect an average teenager to handle his life to be. Hence making it one of the best reads in fantasy novel section in a student’s and adult’s library too. The twist in his destiny comes when he experiences a tiff with one of his professors. Which is unusual since Percy is one docile creature. The tiff brews into a battle where his real identity is revealed and Percy is welcomed to the world of monsters and gods. After a heated battle and a headfull of mind numbing confusions, Percy returns to his house and is promised by his mom to be taken to his favorite Beach in Mantauk. At Mantauk start the real cat -dog race between dreams and reality. His greatest fear and unsettling notion of not being able to fit anywhere suitable for him and experiencing an unknown power over water gets to him and is teleported. Rordion makes this transition seem so swift and endearing it relates to every student’s transition to high school years, which makes it one of the best children’s books. He is taken to a place where he belongs, Camp Half Blood, and made to introduce with his new group of mates who are just as unique in their genealogy as he is. He, along with his favorite friend,Grover who now has become his satyr are introduced to a world of magic, sorcery and witchcraft. Percy finds himself in the mirror by the masters and centaurs who teach him about his life their and his identity unravels as the son of Poseidon- god of the sea. While Percy is following a strict and lax regime at the same time in his real home, meeting with other Demi-gods(Annabeth) (We ship them together!), things take toll in his personal life as his mom gets kidnapped and the world basically starts to tear down. In such a hassle to understand the reasoning behind these events, he is informed of another accusation made on him the Olympians. He becomes a target under suspicion when the king of the Gods,i.e Zeus’s lightening bolt gets stolen. Percy travels through many worlds and crosses his boundaries on the quest to decipher the thief and clear his name. He encounters many hellhounds, monsters and Oracle prophecies get to Percy just like his examinations and social gatherings used to. He learns and masters his skills and spearheads his connect with water through his half stallion, half human teacher, Chiron and uses them to protect Annabeth, Grover against trouble. While getting rid of Hades and his callous tricks to stop Percy from his pursuit to trap him and his team, he exercises his full power and shows his wrath to the God of Wrath himself. Nobody messes with the son of Sea! After passing all the hurdles and dodging arrows, Percy finally is able to restore the peace amongst the gods in Olympus and he goes onto retrieve his mother as well. A well crafted novel revolving around Greek Gods and monsters become very relatable because of the author’s simplistic and innovative expression makes it an impressive story book in english for adults as well. All turning out well at last, but this is just the latest in the series of new novels under the Heroes Of Olympus by Rick!
The Flux, the change in flow, in current, movement, in moments of life.Humans are forever stuck in the hyperboles of their own imaginations and expressions. To relate to a metaphysical hydraulogical phenomenon is to experience life through the flow of water. The structural capacity of water is that of a fluid. The fluid, unlike oil, which makes breathe; unlike acid, which saves more, corrodes less.Water hence, provides a lesson for the pravaah(flow) we all need in healthy living. To endure, collect and proceed… Flow through life with a sense of fluidity, taking shape to the circumstancesthat create the person you are meant to be. When an object traverses through universe in due time, kinetic, potential, stored, all of which, caused by the movement of the substance nurtures energy. Flowing water is a form of energy. Yes, the world has progressed in utilising the hydel power and hydraulic stations, the polities and economies of some countries revolve around them. Where the amazon rainforest has been dependent on existing reserves of hydropower, China produces 856 kw hydroelectric power annually. However I wish to highlight the intellect behind this energy of water. Sparkling Water? The moment it touches your throat, it flows through the surface that existed, erodes the friction and calms your being. When we think of the energy in stored glaciers and bottles, it almost feels solid. Contained. Abstained. So much so that whence we experience a natural or a virtual flow, it teleports us to a place of serenity and tranquility. The moment the shower spouts water on your head, the sense of thirst for peace and refreshment is enlightened. Be an ever flowing river and dance through life, flowing beautifully from one place to another.Glide to the destination of life that awaits. If we indulge in mind mapping, we would realise this phenomenon in depth, as to how our thoughts too are a flow of emotions and ideas. To surpass a phase in life, to move on, we must attempt to not stay put, but move. It is funny how for how people who worship the still water. For it is in a constant state of departure, while still arriving. We realise action when it is at position of unrest. Now it can be when the cloud rains pour, brooks babble across banks and produce froth or even then when see a tear roll down the cheek. It creates a moment of unsteadiness. And also a moment to not to stop. life is like river rapids, strong and powerful.times, we must know when to paddle gentlythrough a slow-moving stream.Wherever you are in your present practice and life,be mindful as to what fluidity your mind and body is craving. Water is the mother of fire and on earth only do we preside.Out of the three elements in existence, water, in my opinion holds the strongest and the most integrated position. I have seen my work and toil fall and turn into rubble within nanoseconds, I have seen alive beings burn to ashes. I didn’t have much to take from my grandfather after he expired, but his teachings on finding the flow stuck to my heart. Next time when you’re stuck in a puddle or a storm, remember to be like the flowing water. Remember to have a pravaah.
Porn as a word that has been making people go crazy, blush, even takes them to a world far from here. On one side, people are promoting high-quality porn, which is again a big deal in this world. And the rest argue as it has been promoting vulgarity and creating illusions of fake orgasms, fake beliefs, myths and everything.
Blurb:OVER A SPAN OF TEN YEARS, HE KILLED FORTY PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEN VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. AFTER FIVE YEARS OF SILENCE, HE IS BACK AGAIN, SEEKING HIS NEXT VICTIM. ONLY ONE MAN CAN STOP HIM – PROFESSOR BLACK.Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer’s house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer ‘Kansa,’ who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. She appealed to her department to bring back Professor Black to help her catch the killer. The Professor, who had a haunting past that had kept him away from the world of crime and investigation for several years, was not willing to take on this case. But the ACP managed to convince him to get on board just for this one last time. Soon after agreeing to help, the Professor realized that for the first time in his life, he had met his match. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed.Intrigue:‘Kansa’ is the First book of ‘The Killer trilogy’ series by Prassant Kevin. The book narration starts with a couple who are traveling back after marriage at Corbett, whose car met with an accident, which rans out on Meher who is an escaped victim from KaNsa. The story grips with “ACP Saargi Desai” who suspects the impression of serial killer Kansa, who seeks help of a alcoholic, drug addict, womanizer yet criminology expert “Professor Black” to break this killing mystery of forty pregnant women and their babies. Not to further be a spoiler, this book answers the questions:Who is kaNsa?Why is the motive of killing pregnant women and their babies?Did ACP and Professor could break this mystery ?How Meher escaped from killer clutches ?To know yourself, read this crime thriller kaNsa. My Review:To start off , the book cover is damn awesome specially the EMBOSED title, the background picture and fine quality paper with bigger font which is handy makes happy to carry. It was one of the most awaited crime thrillers, the pace of book is very good and you will not find yourself bored at any point and a perfect nail biter.Book starts with a hidden message, a second of driving negligence needs more pay off and in other way that paves a great start as clue to find the serial killer, “There is no one either good or bad, but circumstances make them so” , one of the best thing in kaNsa is the story is written and narrated in third person point of view. writing style is pretty clear, decent content and has minimal grammatical errors, can be ignored in interest of plot. The narration was so perfect, I can feel those come before my eyes when I am reading the book (may be due to midnight read)At few places due to suspect and mysterious nature, readers will literally experience chills in their spine (sweet warning), this book pulled me from love and romance to crime and suspense genre ( I stacked three already) ,title kaNsa and story progress makes the keen readers feels the mythological impression in the intrigue.Below few unanswered questions made me to go with a star less:1. Professor Black family ?2. Logical or medical reason to kill pregnant women3. The necklace4. Two pictures of of three by Meher5. Annu Kesharwani, white rabbit6. Exact male who torture and kill pregnant women7. Arjun involvement in crimeLooking forward for Book:2 in this trilogy series, overall kaNsa turns out to be a perfect crime thriller, with decent story-line,well narrated, fit to screen-played, minor grammatical errors, nail biting page turner. Even the last page has an amazing twist that paves a thought for the upcoming one. kaNsa serves as reference for “Criminology” enthusiastLink:KaNsaRegardsKiran K Adharpuram

My Rating : 3 / 5I am a not very usual reader of self-help books but I read them time to time. The last self-help book which I read was “You can win” by Shiv Khera in 2009. After that, I did not get chance to read them. Robin Sharma’s Who Will Cry, Whenyou Die might be one of few self-help books which I have selected for myself. I haven’t got chance to read Robin Sharma best-selling book “The monk who sold Ferrari” but luckily one of my roommate having this book. Confession: I haven’t bought that book but took it on loan from my friend. Might be I will steal from him because that book is simply Awesome.Robin Sharma has written many books on the subject of leadership, self-help, professional guidance, and spirituality. he himself claimed the constant student of philosophy and mentioned that he has amide interest of changing the lives of millions.Irrespective of his attractive writings, he runs the seminars, performs personal classes for high table peoples around the world through his company. This book contains many heart touching topics related to Life, discipline, and leadership. This book is mostly a call for people who don’t want to regrate in their life. I would like to discuss the personal lesson which I vow to follow after reading this book.Write a journal for yourself. It might seem like a crazy idea but I think everyone must try this once in their life. I used to write personal diaries from 2005 to end of 2009. But after being in Job and same monotonous life sucked up my passion for reading, writing and learning for few years. I took the vow to relive my habit of reading in 2014 and that year I have completed 50 books and almost reading more than 12000+ pages. In the year 2016, I also promise to my self that I will start writing and I am doing it from 2016 to till now through this blog. Now I feel that, while these two habits change my life tremendously, this book remind me about my third habit for writing journals for myself. I am a great fan of fountain pens and paper white crispy dairies. I have good fountain pen but next week I am going to buy a diary for talking to myself.Learning Tough loveThis is might be the most difficult thing to do. But I am going to learn tough love with my life. I am not allowing my laziness to fill my days with excuses and crying about things cant be change. I am going to stick with myself (Mind and Body). I remember that one of my European friends told me thatIndians are great people with lot’s of potential but they lack consistency and discipline.I agree with my European friend. Indians even after having so much energy, fail to channelize that power because we believe that breaking the rule is normal. We (as an Indian) don’t believe in the firm and steady lifestyle while we believe that things get settle down eventually. That’s where we are weak and we lack focus.I personally need to reinstate that focus in my life. It can be started with minor but permanent changes. Like I have started to wake up 6:00 AM anyhow. I vow to get into bed around 11:00PM. I have told myself that I will read minimum one hours daily. Eat almonds for my health.Having a book all the time with meThis is one of the ideas which I like most. I mean how many of us notice that we waste our time by sleeping, chatting and gossiping during the day. How many of us waste their hundred hours by standing at lines, watching TV’s shows rather than having a book which can give us million dollar ideas like this one did to me.I am not saying that everyone must have the book and read it unconsciously. But I am saying that use the time which is being wasted in your life.My Mantra is simple: Life is short, Read !!Original Blog
The good and bad for us is that we become used to of anything if uncovered for long enough. Though, that is no resistant that it is good for us. We become used to drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco; we start to enjoy it.
World health dayThe World Health Day is celebrated on 7th of April every year. This day is celebrated for awareness of the global health. The World Health Day is been the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations. The World Health Organization (WHO) has there theme, slogan and hashtag for their organization are:Theme for World Health Day is: Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere The slogan is: “Health for All”. The primary hashtag that we are using is : #HealthForAll but look out for posts using #WorldHealthDay as well. The World Health Organization held the First World Health Assembly in the year 1948. The Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of each year, with effect from 1950 after 2 years, as the World Health Day. World Health Day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues, who also organize activities and highlight their support in media reports, such as the Global Health Council. The World Health organizes decided a particular theme for the international, regional and local events on this Day. They have the different theme every year related to their aspect. If we talk about the theme of the World Health Day then we have numbers of year passed with the different theme for the world. Every theme is related to securing your health with different problems. We are celebrating World Health Organization since 1948 till now, long 70 years. Recent themes that are been taken for this day they are; in the year 2014 the theme was taken on the disease Vector-borne meaning of this was a small bite, big threat. In the year 2015, the theme was taken Food safety so that people could eat healthy food. In the year 2016, the theme was taken Halt the rise, this was related to beat diabetes. a largely preventable and treatable non-communicable disease that is rapidly increasing in numbers in many countries, most dramatically in low- and middle-income countries. Simple lifestyle measures have been shown to be effective in preventing or delaying the onset of type 2 diabetes, including maintaining normal body weight, engaging in the regular physical activity, and eating a healthy diet. Diabetes can be controlled and managed to prevent complications through diagnosis, self-management education, and affordable treatment. The WHO estimates about 422 million people in the world have diabetes, with the disease the direct cause of some 1.5 million deaths. The goals of WHD 2016 are scaled up prevention, strengthen care, and enhance surveillance. In the year 2017 the theme was taken Depression: Let's talk because the condition affects people of all ages, from all walks of life, in all countries. It impacts on people’s ability to carry out everyday tasks, with consequences for families, friends, and even communities, workplaces, and health care systems. At worst, depression can lead to self-inflicted injury and suicide. A better understanding of depression – which can be prevented and treated – will help reduce the stigma associated with the illness, and lead to more people seeking help. Talking about the upcoming World Heath Day the theme has been decided is Universal Health Coverage. This topic has been taken so that they could cover all different type of problem of the people. The World Health Organization was founded on the principle that all people should be able to realize their rights to the highest possible level of health.“Health for all” has therefore been our guiding from 70 years. It’s also the impetus behind the current organization wide drive to support countries in moving towards the Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The organization will maintain a high profile focus on (UHC) events through 2018, starting on the World Health Day on 7th of April with global and local conversations about ways to archive health for all.So it has been decided that in this 70th anniversary year, World Health Organization is calling on the world leaders to live up to the pledges they made when they agreed on the Sustainable Development Goals in the year 2015, and commit to concrete steps to advance the health of all people. This means ensuring that everyone, everywhere can access essential quality health services without facing financial hardship. Experience has illustrated, time and again, that Universal Health Coverage is achieved when political will is strong. Throughout 2018, we aim to inspire UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by highlighting policymakers’ power to transform the health of their nation, framing the challenges as exciting and ambitious, and inviting them to be part of the change.Throughout 2018, we aim to Motivate UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by sharing examples of how countries are already progressing towards UHC and encourage others to find their own path.Throughout 2018, we aim to Guide UHC stakeholders to make commitments towards UHC by providing tools for structured policy dialogue on how to advance UHC domestically or supporting such efforts in other countries. If we talk about some of the countries have already made significant progress towards universal health coverage. But half of the world’s population is still unable to obtain the health services they need. If countries are to achieve the decided target, then one billion people need more to benefit from UHC by 2023.this is the achievement target year has been decided by the UHC.World Health Day will shine a spotlight on the need for UHC and the advantages it can bring. WHO and its partners will share examples of the steps to take to get there through a series of events and conversations held at multiple levels. As it has been said by the Director General “No one should have to choose between death and financial hardship. No one should have to choose between buying medicine and buying food.”Every people do not know that why this universal health day coverage matters for our countries? It is because the country that invites in UHC marks a sound investment in their human capital. In the recent years, UHC has emerged as a key strategy to make progress towards other health-related and border development goals. Access to essential quality care and financial protection not only enhance people’s health and life expectancy, it also protects countries from epidemics, reduces poverty and the risk of hunger, creates jobs, drives economic growth and enhances gender equality.Do everyone know that why World Health Day is been celebrated? World Health Day celebration focuses on increasing the life expectancy by adding good health to the lives of people and promoting healthier living habits. Youths of the new era are also targeted by this event to prevent and make them healthy to make the world healthy and free from AIDS and HIV.Disease spreading vectors like mosquitoes (malaria, dengue fever, filaria, chikungunya, yellow fever and etc), ticks, bugs, sand flies, snails and etc are also spotlighted by the WHO to make the world free from a wide range of diseases caused by parasites and pathogens. It provides better prevention and cure from the vector-borne diseases spread by vectors and travelers from one country to other. WHO supports various health authorities on global basis to make their own efforts for the public health problems to enhance better life without different diseases. It is generally done for the increase the public awareness of various causes and prevention of high blood pressure. So that they could give knowledge of getting prevented from various diseases and their complications. For encouraging the most vulnerable group of people to frequently check their blood pressure and follow medications from the professionals. The promotion of the self care among people. Motivate are the most important for the worldwide health authorities to make their own efforts in creating the healthy environments in their country. The protections of the families living in the disease vulnerable areas is necessary. We all celebrate World Health Day for our development of the body so that we could live healthy and safe life. So let’s celebrate World Health Day on 7th of April.
International Mother Earth Day (or Earth Day)The Earth Day is celebrated on 22 April 2018 each year to celebrate the Mother Earth. Thus, Earth Day is to remind us of the importance of maintenance of the life balance.History:●US senator and environment enthusiast: Gaylord Nelson was the driving force behind the celebrations.●The idea came to Senator Nelson on witnessing the infamous 1969 oil spill in California.●The spill took a toll on the ecological system of California and the Outlook of the nation itself.●Driven by the desire to involve the youth in the cause of the environment. ●It was due to the reason that an ideal date i.e. 22 April was chosen (between the spring break as well as final examinations).●Initially, the event had just 20 million supporters and by the 90s the figure swelled up to 200 million.●Then came the path-breaking legislation in form of Rio Declaration of 1992. This legislation put more effort into economic, social and environmental reforms. ●Today, the figure of the followers is estimated to be beyond 1 billion. As a result, each year volunteers gather to plant trees, ensure cleanliness of the vicinity and achieving success through sustainable goals. Earth Day 2018 Theme:Leading the process of change is the Earth Day Network. It has been decided to dedicate the celebrations this year to End Plastic Pollution. The organization is creating and finding support for ensuring utility. creating support for a global effort to eliminate single-use plastics along with global regulation for the disposal of plastics. EDN will educate millions of people about the health and other risks associated with the use and disposal of plastics, including pollution of our oceans, water, and wildlife, and about the growing body of evidence that decomposing plastics are creating serious global problems. From poisoning and injuring marine life to the ubiquitous presence of plastics in our food to disrupting human hormones and causing major life-threatening diseases and early puberty, the exponential growth of plastics is threatening our planet’s survival. EDN has built a multi-year campaign to End Plastic Pollution. Our goals include ending single-use plastics, promoting alternatives to fossil fuel-based materials, promoting 100 percent recycling of plastics, corporate and government accountability and changing human behavior concerning plastics.EDN’s End Plastic Pollution campaign includes four major components:Leading a grassroots movement to support the adoption of a global framework to regulate plastic pollution;Educating, mobilizing and activating citizens across the globe to demand that governments and corporations control and clean up plastic pollution;Educating people worldwide to take personal responsibility for plastic pollution by choosing to reject, reduce, reuse and recycle plastics, andPromoting local government regulatory and other efforts to tackle plastic pollution.Earth Day Network will leverage the platform of Earth Day and the growing interest in the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2020 as a catalyst for global action.Education is the foundation for progress. We need to build a global citizenry fluent in the concepts of climate change and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet. We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection.Environmental and climate literacy is the engine not only for creating green voters and advancing environmental and climate laws and policies but also for accelerating green technologies and jobs.may be hard to imagine that before 1970, a factory could spew black clouds of toxic into the air or dump tons of toxic waste into a nearby stream, and that was perfectly legal. They could not be taken to court to stop it.How was that possible? Because there was no EPA, no Clean Air Act, no Clean Water Act. There were no legal or regulatory mechanisms to protect our environment. In spring 1970, Senator Gaylord Nelson created Earth Day as a way to force this issue onto the national agenda. Twenty million Americans demonstrated in different U.S. cities, and it worked! In December 1970, Congress authorized the creation of a new federal agency to tackle environmental issues, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.Earth Day began in America in 1970 as a day to celebrate the planet and encourage people to be more environmentally friendly. It is now an annual event and is widely regarded as the beginning of the modern environmental movement. Activities associated with the day often include planting trees, raising awareness about recycling, volunteering for green projects, and reducing the number of energy people consume. Earth Day is supported by a host of celebrities, including Leonardo Di Caprio, Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus and Matt Damon. Earth Day has become one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe. On this day, events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. Currently, it is celebrated in more than 192 countries each year. It was originally celebrated at Spring Equinox around 21 March every day but now the United Nations has designated 22 April as the International Mother Earth Day. Earth Day Network coordinates this annual day across the globe.Earth Day is all about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet Earth with its incredible biodiversity. On this day various national and international activities are conducted to understand the biodiversity and how should we protect our nature – plants, animals, and environment.Today, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with numerous partners and communities in more than 192 countries to raise the environmental concerns and diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. Apart from this, a large number of communities celebrate Earth Week and create awareness among other people regarding environmental issues.Various Earth Day FactsEarth Day Flag is called Ecology Flag. It was created by cartoonist Ron Cobb and was first published in the Los Angeles Free Press on 7 November 1969. The Ecology symbol resembles Greek letter theta and is a combination of the letters “E” and “O” taken from the words “Environment” and “Organism,” respectively. The flag consists of thirteen alternating-green-and-whites stripes with a symbol on the left-hand side. Earth Day Anthem is a universal song associated with Earth Day. Its lyrics are set to the tone of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” melody on which the official anthem of the European Union is based.“Joyful joyful we adore our Earth in all its wondermentSimple gifts of nature that all join into a paradiseNow we must resolve to protect herShow her our love throughout all timeWith our gentle hand and touchWe make our home a newborn worldNow we must resolve to protect herShow her our love throughout all timeWith our gentle hand and touchWe make our home a newborn world.”Earth Day became an international event on 21 March 1971, when UN’s Secretary-General U Thant spoke about it at a Peace Bell Ceremony at the United Nations in New York City. Since then, the United Nations Earth Day ceremony continues each year on the day of the vernal equinox (March 20th or 21st), with the ringing of the UN Peace Bell at the very moment of the equinox.More than 20 million people and thousands of local schools and communities participated in the first Earth Day of the United States that took place on 22 April 1970. This huge turnout made the first Earth Day as the largest organized celebration in the history of the United States. The success of Earth Day helped to influence the United States’ government to create stronger laws to protect the environment.Earth Day Network, the organization behind the Earth Day movement, works with over 22000 partners in more than 192 countries worldwide to raise environmental concerns. Today more than 1 billion people participate in earth day activities each year to make it one of the largest movements on earth.Earth Day 2000 combined the ambitious spirit of the first Earth Day with the international grassroots activism of Earth Day 1990. This was the year when Earth Day used the Internet to expand its reach and organize activists across several continents. The message was loud and clear and it proved invaluable domestically and internationally. In the year 2009, United Nations officially renamed Earth Day as International Mother Earth Day.On Earth Day 2012, more than 100,000 people rode bikes in China to reduce CO2 emissions and save fuel.Every year on April 22, men, women, children, groups and communities all around the world gather together and put all their efforts to collect garbage, plant saplings, encourage people to go for recycling, sign petitions and discuss issues to save this planet from depleting resources. In few places, earth day is celebrated throughout the week to expand its reach so that more people take part and put their efforts to preserve the environment.Earth Day SignificanceEarth Day is a day dedicated to increasing awareness about the Earth, its issues, and problems. Today, more than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world. As a result of this remarkable event, various policy agreements and acts are sanctioned such as Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and many others.Earth Day has gained significant significance in the past. This is due to the fact that people have been witnessing the shortage of food, skyrocketing fuel prices, increased global warming and changing weather patterns. It is a day that acknowledges the importance of our planet. People come to know about the contemporary environmental issues such as global warming, depleting resources etc. Both adults and kids become conscious about the strategies and tactics which they can adopt in day-to-day life to ensure cleaner environments.Various suggestions are brought to light about recycling, energy conservation, increasing plant and tree growth, save water, respect nature, reduce toxins in the air, keep the environment clean, reduce air pollution, planting trees and flowers to increase oxygen and love and respect towards all animals who inhabit the earth. There are small ideas with the huge impact such as – plant a tree every year, switch off the light when not in use, use recyclable bags for grocery shopping etc. presented during Earth Day celebrations.Apart from the individual households, even companies are encouraging their employees to contribute their part when it comes to saving this planet from degradation. Making use of public transportation, carpooling to reduce pollution, switching off AC after office hours, motivating people to take less printouts, using renewable sources to generate power, allowing employees to engage in tele or video conferencing, using CFL lights and bulbs, extracting geothermal energy to heat up office buildings are few of the initiatives companies are taking to save energy and make this planet safe for our future generations. On the transportation side, companies are now manufacturing and selling hybrid and electric cars that do not make use of petrol or diesel to run. New technologies are coming in which are making these cars at par with that of cars running on petrol and diesel. If people implement some of these and make changes in their behaviors towards Mother Earth, then we would be able to make our planet a much better place to live in – also for coming generations.
I am a thriller freak. I am a person who will always pick up crime/mystery novels over contemporary fiction. I read some really good crime thrillers last year by Indian Author so when this opportunity (review copy) came to my door, I couldn’t refuse.

Derrick Jensen, in his book “A language older than words” showcases a monologue of torturous life in the first chapter titled silencing. In a world of mixed ethnicities and cultures, jensen wishes to connect and hit homes of the readers with his nerve wrecking message about the existing mushrooming violence. Marveling environmental beauty and the reality of space, he traverses from his memories of the troubled past and guides us to his future and expeditions where he sought lying was the only route to mend his living. The implicit silence that lurks within the society now and since childhood then, is an act of living in a world distant from the truth. In our schooling years whence we all our free birds with no systemisation in our lives, we risk our hearts at the pleasures of being honest and innocent. The education we receive is a monopolistic game play to create disparity between what we are taught and what we experience and feel. The difference makes us stuck in a virtual world where there is a constant conflict between the residence of belief or sight. To survive from which, we must speak lies. With the passage of time, we get bound within the bountiful cultures of knowledge and monotony strikes our lives and we begin to settle. Settle for the way we work, the pattern in which we breathe, the space in which we travel. This life is ushered by physical, mental emotional oppression. However the contemporary era may be, we continue to deny the truth in reality and become mindless, deaf and mute to those in need. “the lies act as barriers to truth.”If one chose to speak, he would be silenced by the oppressing powers of culture, politics in the society. “Consider your own life, the ways you deny your own experience, the ways you have to deaden your own empathies to get through the day.” This subjugation of truth and self acceptance that has been hardwired in our lives sJensen snap shows flashes from his distraught childhood of extreme physical abuse, to which he was made accustomed to as they were ritualised by his father. Making him witness the rule of the powerful, he made jensen sit on the table, quietly, while he assaulted and victimised his family members. after this became a regime, jensen abandoned his belief system and gave up the fight for a change. His father, made him believe in a world which was made out of a figment of his imagination. To him, this ‘control’ over his thoughts and subsequently actions was ‘normal’. although The intensity of torture and pain inflicted over jensen was a customised service upon him done by his father;he was made to believe that this was the routine for him. Escaping from such incidences was a question of human dignity, more of all, his survival. How did he cater to this acute urge to survive? By lying.Jensen rightfully demonstrates how violence speaks the language of lies. “do not believe a word I write in this book, about my father, about the culture, about anything.” Jensen puts the reader in a state of epistemic ambivalence when he contradicts himself and his stories in an attempt to fabricate the truth. For even then, he wishes to make his ends meet. However unbelievable these covers may be, they must always serve as the barrier for truth to colour the horrid reality. He caged himself in a rock crystallized world where he chose silence over speech, calm over revolt and lies over truth. He quotes R.D Laing “ if our experience is destroyed we have lost our own selves” which is precisely jensen’s trial. By denying of it all being happened at the first place, he attempts on losing those memories. These fabrications are the only bread to the subjugated human, suffocating inside the uniform bars of falsehood.History reflects the human tendency to turn a blind eye and lie about the existence of the to existence of successive damaging events. The study from the Allport, Bruner and Jandorf , psychologists of the holocaust and the transformation of the oppressed, from victims to survivors, is hard hitting one. In that period of constant misery and turmoil, steadily victims adapted to their fate, they became tolerant. This tolerance came by the harvest of escapism in their sweet, small endeavors as a mechanism for survival. They found their abode in mozart, business trips and leisure at the countryside. This helped them carve out their world of facades and live in an unreal reality. Jensen attempts the same by reaching out to the naturally expressive yet unspeaking and unhearing stars and moons. “I did not die because they spoke to me.”Jensen snap shows flashes from his distraught childhood of extreme physical abuse, to which he was made accustomed to as they were ritualised by his father. Making him witness the rule of the powerful, he made jensen sit on the table ,quietly, while he assaulted and victimised his family members. By staining his head, instead of painting a fresh leaf, it became a regime, jensen abandoned his belief system and gave up the fight for a change. This helped them carve out their world of facades and live in an unreal reality. By staunch He reaches out to the time when humans see but don’t acknowledge, hear but not listen and register quite what happens around them. He talks of a time when if a grenade were to roll across on the floor, it humans won’t realize it and turn a blind eye to them. Grease, oil and barrels all of which are uncommon to an average working class human, would be highly common. To the dockworkers and factory-men and thus, dangers in a mill would be shortly adjusted to their lifestyle. They too live in a little world of their own lies, ruled by terror but governed by their own escape.Humans are the tenants of the hyperbole of their deception and by each passing moment of progression or digression they save themselves by being stagnant in their own times. . There are atrocities, havocs, desirous activities, disasters and other moments of upheavels for an average human, imagining an illusionary universe can provide a necessary escape. Hence comes the dire need for adopting false mechanisms. False mechanism provides a fraudulent environment which is subjective to everyone, even if so in reality there is a mass in the common pit. In Jensen’s state of constant denial and neglect of reality, he dwells on his experience and faded memories, even while trying to let go of it. They are always arriving in a constant state of departure. We are silencing the reality which begs our interest and action. And even though we go on eons and eons, we are only here for the fraction of fraction of a second and so we stand in a pool of human built subdued untruths. A pool of veils on truth, made by the subject hood of individuals ,granted to it by the society to facilitate existence. After all the romanticism of relativity theory lies in the passage of time which depends directly as to where we are standing. In past, present, future or just an unreal world decorated by lies of our own.
What if friends are defined on the basis of apps we use??
“DeAr ZiNdAgi” Yes !!! what could be more beautiful, precious, lovable & valuable thing in the world other than 'Life' or 'Zindagi'. Dear Friends, we often tend to run so fast in life, that we have no time to stop & when we realize it’s too late to turn back. We hold loads of grudges # sufferings # pain # complains # unspoken words # un expressed love & much more from being child to being adult & that makes us to stay in the nutshell from which we do not want to step out coz of fear to get hurt again, to face people, to tackle same problems & same circumstances again. We keep running away from our-self, & we start living a life that makes us unhappy at times. Life is too short & all we have is only one life so, we should not let our past bad experience haunt & spoil are present. There are many who do not have good relationship with parents, with siblings & of course wife & husband, but each broken things can be fixed if we make efforts & know how to fix them. Being child we were too immature to understand things, situations, parents, siblings, friends, etc, but now that we have grown up we must learn to accept that all people make mistakes knowingly & unknowingly but we should give them a chance & forgive them. The people that make you unhappy let them go away from your life & you need not to regret. The people that make you happy, that motivates you, encourages you, understands you, listens to your heart, loves you should be valued & should never take them for granted.Speak out as and when need, instead of burying your unspoken words & feelings inside your heart. Our heart does not have habit of carrying such a heavy load. Our heart is precious & should be kept peaceful & happy to enjoy every second & minute of our life.Nothing holds us back except I Me & Myself. Learn to live in present & learn to change your present by improving in all little ways that you can that can make you & you life happy & joyful. Mistakes is our best teacher, so keep falling & keep learning but when you get up learn to move forward in life without turning the pages of unhappy past. You are the writer of you own life, so make the most beautiful painting out of it & give the Title “Love you Zindagi”We shld not feel ashamed of talking on our mental stress, depression, & feeling of being alone to our friends, families & dear ones. Dnt simply live life. Learn to live healthy stress free life. If you are happy frm within, you will see more happiness around you to feel & enjoy. If you are mentally stress free & happy it will help u to forget your past, you will live in present, do enjoy the company of yourself, love yourself, appreciate yourself & make your heart free like butterflies. #smblogcontest

The yesterday's "She" and today's "She" have not been changed just in time, but this change is consistent and comprehensive compared to yesterday. Today's woman breaks the old bondageand challenge her for the new bondage, and she was already in the sky, but she now had a new model and new opportunities for herself. Today, "she" is a woman in her family and there are many steps ahead of her husband, and yet her ambition is not to shed the seeds of "female-oriented culture" or to not "attack male-dominant culture", " "It is to cultivate, expand, and bring such equality in thought and action.Women have always been presumed because of male-dominated culture, but today, she has herself rid herself of this culture and ideas and is inspired by the ideas of equality, universal brotherhood. Today she herself is an inspiration. She has been patiently accepted yesterday and today. She is responsible for the creation of "Good tomorrow" along with other women and men. Today she has a strong positive energy source and confidence. Today, in her thoughts, openness is unqualified. An extraordinary difference is created in her ability to think. Due to these things, "she" today is composed of a separate idea. Her own identity and image have been created today. "She" is the leader in many areas today. Her life is not limited to just her 'housewife', but she is today a "very rich and professional housewife". Today, women are making their own lives and others along with them. A woman never thinks of herself because she is not primarily her own, but today the woman is thinking of herself, trying to do something new in life, and feel free to welcome this thought. She has made many changes in her own positive changes, her lifestyle is changing, and as a man, you have to respect all those things.Today, the work of the women and the labor of women in the country where there is a diverse culture-like culture and variety of variety has always been given secondary importance. Today's women want to change this thing permanently and should take care of their work as a person and expect them to be respected in the society. In addition, her dream is to be recognized by the "Indian woman" tomorrow all over the world. All these things should be started by every Indian citizen from his own house. Till date, men's society has taken women and given secondary position. Today every person in the family has supported the "woman" of his family, understanding the restrictions on her, the extra responsibilities of her, and liberated her from her and encouraged her to live her way, whereas India has been named as the country of "Male and Female Culture" in just a few years. And in this case both men and women will be equally involved in this.
"Hindi Medium" ufff !!! this is rarely heard now a days. Ten to Fifteen years back we often heard parents saying that my child is studying in Hindi medium, Gujarati medium, Marathi medium, govt schools etc & they were comfortable enough to accept that their child is pursuing education in their local language. Studying in Mother tongue was consider as pride for the family years back, but now the picture of the entire education system has changed. English has become so mandatory, that the entire education system has being corrupted & has become a business. To seek admission in reputed school has become dreams for many & out of budget for the middle class family. Parents has to pass through high & lows to meet the demands of the luxurious school, coz it has created a mindset that child will not have good career & life if he/she does not study in convent schools or reputed english medium schools. children coming from the lower middle class family pass through mental depression if fees are not paid on time, money not given for extra curriculum activities or any development activities of such convent & luxuries school. Children are being tortured to such an extent that they do not want to go to school. Apart from school even Coaching classes has become business. Parents need to put their children in good coaching class or study center as well, which is equally costly as schools. I still do not understand, if parents are spending huge amount on school education, than why there is need for coaching class ???? The worst part is even after spending huge amount on both, children are still deprived of real education which means practical education instead of theoretical. Students mug up everything & vomit the same during exams, scores good, but forgets what he/she has learnt as years pass by. The govt schools are in such a bad shape, that the govt itself does not want to change their education system & way of learning. The govt schools are meant for poor this is the taboo that we have for it. The education given here is even more poor that students even cannot complain, neither parents can. If govt is funding to run the government school, than standard of education should be followed, the teacher should be monitored & audits should be conducted, so that education of these schools can be up to the mark, & all the schools whether private of govt are on same page. In fact, fees, education quality, all round development of child etc everything should on same page irrespective of private or govt school. Govt should take initiative to control fees hike & should standardize fees structure so that its affordable for parents & can give them a sigh of relief on their children education. Donations should be strictly stopped & legal action must be taken & must cancel the licences of such schools. Even in corporate world people give so much emphasis on communicating in English that good employees who really work up to the mark stay where they are & someone only with good English seeks promotion. Countries like Singapore, China, Hongkong, Macau & many more uses only their local language to communicate & even the software used are also in their local language. I do not think English is only life, yes is good to talk in English, but one should be comfortable in talking in their local language & should not be felt ashamed even if he/she is different in that crowd. I have seen people making fun of those who often make mistake while talking in English or has incorrect accent, grammar, pronunciation etc. Apart from this yes even though studying in English medium we often fear while going for an interview or writing emails, attending presentations, etc coz we fear of being laughed or criticized by others. English has created fear phobia & we often fail & feel helpless in our personal, social & professional life. Sad but Slowly we all have adopted this English speaking culture, etiquette, life style, way of talking & behaving, that we has lost real I, me & Myself in this RACE & have lost being our-self. Let's keep it simple, let it be any medium, but system of education should be same, standard, affordable, acceptable, and must have bright future for our upcoming generation, society & the nation. Language should not become hurdle in personal & professional life. I have just tried to highlight the painful struggles that parents go through for seeking admission in school, colleges, universities etc for their children. The system requires uniformity in laws & transformation to eradicate corruption & business out of our education system. #smblogcontest
Book Review: Kansa (Book 1 - The Killer Trilogy) by Prassant KevinSo, after a very disappointing start to February with Keepers of Kalachakra, I decided to pick this one up for a bit of light read. I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review and I would try my best to be as honest as possible. I chose this book for the sole reason that it did not promise any cheesy romance that Indian authors churn these days and the blurb provided quite an interesting read about a serial killer. Did the book live up to the expectation? Here is my take on it.Blurb (From Amazon):Over a span of ten years, he killed forty pregnant women and then vanished without a trace. After five years of silence, he is back again, seeking his next victim. Only one man can stop him - Professor Black. Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer's house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer 'Kansa,' who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed. My Take on the Book:Imagine you are being provided a box of Bertie Bott's every flavor bean recommended by a friend and as soon as you take the first bite, you get a bad flavor. The same case happened with me while I was reading this book. Within the first 10 pages of the book, you realize the book was more of an essay rather than a thriller that was expected. Even though the plot was quite promising and had a huge potential, the book just did not live up to the expectation. What promised to be a brilliant plot falls flat due to bad editing, concurrent plot holes and inconsistency in characters. I could count almost three characters whose names changes in the course of the plot due to either spelling errors or the author took the liberty to change the name of the characters which were a synonym to the original name. What I would have preferred was if the author had taken the approach of a more dialogue-oriented story which would have added more clarity and thrill to the novel.Coming down to the characters, except for the main protagonist, none of the characters make any impact on the story. To avoid revealing any spoilers, I would just say, none of the characters did match up to their qualifications that were boasted in the book. Also, at many places, the main character would easily get his hands on things that are generally not quite accessible at many places and that added a few weird expressions on my face. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and since I have been talking quite negative about this book, let's also talk about some positives. Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the plot does seem promising and if the author ties up some of the loopholes, the novel works quite well. Also, since it is the first of the trilogy, there is a vast room for improvement in his future novels. The main protagonist does seem to be larger than life currently, but if this can be handled in future novels, it could just add to the betterment of the character and the novels. So go for it, if you want to read something interesting but where you don't have to put too much of your thinking cap on it. Also, for a person who is a fan of Bollywood Masala movies, this won't be a letdown. My Rating: 1/2 out of 5 (Hoping against hope, that the shortcomings are taken care in future novels)Book in Three Words: Thrilling. Glitched. Exaggerated.email@example.com

What a book…hats off to the author… after a very very long time, I read a book which hooked me till d end and kept me wondering who the culprit was..I couldn’t guess it until the end..The story is written exceptionally well..it has that power which u need in a thriller fast paced book…as soon as I started this I knew I would love every bit of this book.. it is a book about a person who is called ‘kansa’ and who has killed more than 50 people including pregnant women, infants etc.. it all started when Maher met with a road accident and was admitted in the hospital where she revealed that she has escaped from a house where she was kept after kidnapping and also revealed that person was a killer.. ACP Saargi Desai is in charge of this case and after getting into this case she knew she needed help from someone who has vanished from this field years ago she insists commissioner and he agrees to her demands.. than professor comes into the picture he is a man who is alcoholic, aggressive, violent and has numbers of escorts girls as speed dials but he is the only person who can help them crack the case..While trying to solve the case the facts that are portrayed, the twists and turns, people dying, the overall concept was written by the author is brilliant… we can see love, betrayal, duty all in this book…cannot wait for the next book in the series now and I am damn sure it will also be the same…intriguing, thriller, ride of roller coaster all in one book…How do they get hold of Kansa is really worth reading..Overall Rating:- ★★★★★ Hema Suresh Talrejastylishangel28@yahoo.co.in
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light.
The blog is about a weekend that I spent wandering the streets of Cambridge.
what mankind lacks is the only wish to get back into the past ans analyse our mistakes and reverse our decisions. To a younger version of myself, I would always recommend that being innocent to each and everything will make life a journey full of happiness. if I could gift something to a little me, it would be to give everything to the present without worrying what future holds. being a teenager is a blessed opportunity not everyone gets to live with. problems are going to turnaround every time you look ahead but my dear young self," Don't worry about the problems but let your problems worry about the solutions you have. There is no problem without a solution". if i could reverse thing in my life, it would be to give more to the society.
StoryMirror interviewed Shruti Deshpande a fitness enthusiast, internationally certified Zumba instructor, BollyBeats fitness professional and model. Here is what she has to say.Q. Tell us about you and your background.I have always wanted to explore different fields in life. I track the body weight, fat percentages of my students and also take feedback from them at the end of classes. What matters to me the most is that my students/clients don't just enjoy the class but also see results in their bodies. 'Connect' is very important to me. Everbody has 'kahaani' i.e stories to share in life, but their are few stories that are very heart touching, senstive, serious, reality & a matter of attention. I know we all have busy life, busy schedule & there many couples whose life depends on nanny, maids, day care for children etc. At times parents also leave their children at friends place, neighbours place or any relatives place without even having a thought tat whether my child would be safe or unsafe. The dirty mind belongs to strangers is true but we need to accept that even our own near & dear ones could have mind filled with shits & may try to harm your child, abuse your child. We teach many do's & dont's to our children but we forget to teach them a very important lesson that is of their own safety, yes safety of their body, lessons of good & bad touch. Make your child aware about gud & bad sign of touch, talk to them daily, have more conversation about school, teachers, bus drivers, auto driver etc. Parents must not forget that child abuse done by near & dear ones is not a matter to hide, ignore & make your child to suffer & get into pain or depression wherein he/ she cant tend to come out. We see & read many cases of child abuse in newspapers, televisions etc but we only get serious about it the day if any such incident takes place in our family. I request everyone do not wait for such cruel incidents to take place. Get alert & start talking & teaching your child today, coz precaution is better than cure. If any one comes across about any such incidents in schools, tutions, day care centers, NGO's one must immediately light such issues, investigate & inform the police. If we dnt act now than many such strangers will get more gutts to spoil life of several children. Your children are lucky coz they have parents like you to take stand & raise voice for them but there are many who do not have parents, they live in child ngo's, ashrams & have no one to share their pain. It's our moral duty to raise our voice & act against the child abuse. Be a friend to your child so that they can share entire routine & kahani of every day. I appreciate the director to take such a serious topic of 'child abuse' & highlighted the current rising issue for our children. There is a strong message to get serious about your child & their safety. Vidya was awesome the way she performed. It could have highlighted more such issues along with data from schools, child ngo's etc. I give 3.5 start to raise this topic in 'Kahaani -2' . It's a family movie so make sure your child also learns out of it. There is a message for all such strangers that, don't play with the life of any child or else accept death penalty or imprisonment for entire life. Even our judiciary laws must be strict & such person should straight away be sentenced to death.
'Dangal' in hindi, but you can call 'Wrestling' in English. We all are wrestlers in real life, coz we fight with our fears, failures, we fight for our dreams, success, we fight for our love, our near ones, dear ones & much more. Wrestling is not so easy, one has to put in hard efforts, one has to give away sleep & work dedicately towards the goal. The journey is painful & their is always learning in each small step that you take towards your goal. It really needs a big heart to give away entire time & life for shaping the career & moulding it into the finest piece. No other can do that for you except our parents. We at times do question them, we doubt them , we blame them, but the fact is , whatever little they had, they spend that little on us. In todays scenario a child often forgets the pain that parents took to upbring them. No other can trust you as much as our parents does & no other can motivate us except our parents. Even if the entire world is against us, we have parents who stand firm with us. We should always be kind, grateful, thankful & shld show our respect by showering our love & care towards them. The other fact of the society is male dominating, inspite of being educated. We give more encouragement to son in sports or any other field & less to girls. The state fund raised for girls in sports shld be easily approved & available but this corrupted ppl eat funds & fill their own pockets. Girls need to fight with the society & ppl around to prove that they are not less then boys & thoughts towards them are wrong & has no base. Girls are not only born to get marry & do household cores. Parents must take initiative to make their daughter realise of their own worth, potential & value. I salute to the parents who encourages their daughters into sports, singing, dancing or any other field. I feel proud to see parents fighting for the daughters for their rights & equality. The movie emphasis on the thoughts of the society towards girls whether its sports, whether giving birth to girl child etc etc. If given opportunity girls can be much better than boys & we can shape their career, passion & their life. The movie is humorous, it has drama, it has fun, aggression & passion for sports & it has undying spirit of hope & a strong message to the society 'Let her Live' & she can do wonders & create history. The movie is awesome & aamir was superb with his role of being father of two proud daughters geeta & babita. Our society needs more such inspiring father to create more such stories. I give 4.5 star to this movie. Do go & watch & be wrestler to cope up with your life...😊
Taking a little hiatus to their lives. We never forget what a mess we were at 16! A big group of friends or no friends at all, being a bully or getting bullied, a friendly person or an introvert who were never in love with their voice. Maybe? Faking smiles or laughing all day long, Dried eyes or dove eyes, racing with the wind at the speed of light, classmates who were irritating before, started residung in the hearts! trying to cover acne, carefree yet insecure about themselves, shot up hormones, distancing themselves from parents, intriguing or rather, questions at every step, looking at the world through a different lens. Undoubtedly, teenage life is the most confusing phase of one's life. How desperatelywe wished to relive those years and change them or live them again? That chapter of life, we all agree was no cake walk but surviving it and living it creating memories seems to be a victory in itself. It looks like a crucial step in the evolution of man which made us strong was this silly age. It seems to shape our present and that is quite a generalized statement. Isn't it?Teens question everything. Yes, even if they have google! It doesn't matter. They will always be in denial. They keep oscillating and floundering in their likes and dislikes. All in all, most of the Indian adults don't know how to bait their rebellious kids. They keep lecturing them which is usually right but the young ignited mind feels the anguish, hatred and obviously, the feeling of being misunderstood. It is okay, teens! you all are hastily running towards your dream, expecting a rise while nature awaits for your great fall!Yes, you will hit the wall just when you were expecting a door!Integrity without even getting noticed will turn you into a cruel satirist! wait for it! until your next fall which will again turn you into a humble person, or, maybe not? Rise- fall- Rise. We all learn from these years. Lots of Food and strange FolksRegular laughing at our own jokes. Fake friends, real friends, BFFs, bf, gf, mum, paa, and teacher with some funny nicknames. The depth of relations is measured by the length of the abbreviations. Validation of the outside world becomes supreme, often influencing your own decisions? Every day looks like the next moment of Insidious! Disappearing dreams, nightmares becoming reality perfectly blending with the virtual world. Basically, several old frames chuckling up to enter the world of transitions. MESS is one word and Embracing it becomes a necessity. You wish to pull the strings all along but instead gets pulled up by the world!?! Till then you figure out yourself, let me leave you wondering about HAPPY ADULTING!?!
No one can deny that a woman has to live with the same senseof freedom and happiness as we do, because social harmony and peace isinterrelated with each and every one’s happiness in life. I know that most ofyou have respect for woman, but the present situation in India demands moreopen discussions and a little more energy from your side. There are manycomplexities that we need to resolve, behind this cruel action called “RAPE”.Without resolving them, if we make stringent laws, we are acting only on theperipheral of the issue. However, the centre from which this action springs upstill remains the same. Laws are necessary, but they are not enough. In aphysical relationship, the man and woman both should have a mutual agreement.Any action without that agreement proves that one is no more a MAN. We need toinclude this small fact in our education system.A physical relationship is a sacred thingthrough which creation happens, looking at it in a vulgar sense is a sin.Having an affair seems to be a heroic action, but sex is just a part of life, not all of it. We must learn how to get energy out of it, and soon die to thatpleasure, instead of feeding it to our memory. If we don’t die to that memory,it is used by thought and turns your life into a mess. Few of the issues behindthis cruelty seem to be1) Female foeticide – Because of this, theratio of the girlsto boys is reducing, and more men are left with wild unfulfilled desires, turning them into wild animals.2) No sex education –When we don’t teach a child about sex as apart of nature and how to involve in it in a dignified manner, vulgaritycreeps intothe mind. Forget about the child, can you and I talk about sex in a dignifiedmanner, without anyvulgar thoughts or jokescreeping into our conversation?3) Entertainment – Inthe entertainment industry, women are mostly objectified. Within the industrywomen may get paid more and mayget good respect. But because of the way they portray women inpublic, thecommon man is looking at women as sex objects or glamour dolls. Indecent jokes about sexual organs have become a trend becauseof our movies today. 4) Not understanding thefact that thereis no problem with desire, but the problem is with either suppression or the craving for it.“I call himempty who has no love, and forhim sex becomes a problem, anissue, a thing to be avoided or to be indulged.”- Jiddu Krishnamurti
We worship goddess Durga because she depicts 'shakti' or strength. She is the epitome of power, beauty & motherhood. It is said maa Durga resides in all mothers and I completely agree with this fact. But still, some people are neglecting their mother and going to the temple. It's just vain.Life is just like a filmy anticlimax where everything was going just right when we got shocking news. Our mother made us like this "our mind is our eye now, we can handle anything".Nobody was willing to pick up the people who were hurt but only one person who always pick up u, she is our mother. My mother, she's definitely an important person in my life, who doesn't mince her words at all. She's probably the most compatible person, with an energetic soul. I want, my parents are proud to see their daughter achieve things all by herself.
Glasses! It's really an amazing thing.sometimes it saves us from unwanted embarrassing moments.Sometimes it saves us from dust. Whenever we feel sleepy then it will hide our eyes. people have lots of trouble in their life, they can hide their tears as well as their emotions easily inside the glasses. 20% of people with glasses wear them as an attempt to see better. 80% of people with glasses wear them as an attempt to appear smarter. If u have no friends then as a companion it will work out. Basically, Glasses suggest intelligence instead of broken eyes.If you are a glasses user then make Ur glasses as Ur most valuable friend.
People will always give u hard time instead of cantankerous u have to make urself a dignified person.some people behave as an ingenious but on the backend side, they have stealthy like asurgical strike. In this whole world, there is a lot of meretricious people so u have to behave like a tame.If you are a diligent person then u will suffer most of the time, because sometimes there is no place for only hard work u have to do both smart works along with hard work.It is ironic and somehow tragic that good people are often dull, while evil people can be endlessly fascinating.your elders are always there to guide u but u should only accept their suggestions and do as per your understanding.Don't bother too much in anyone's life, leave them alone then only they can understand.u may have lots of divergence in your life but u have to stay durable and go for your duties.Always accept troubles, by solving them u will get more knowledge.Don't be a turbulent and treacherous person, because life is too short u have to live it like full of mania.
In programming language there are lots of keywords like in "Java" 50 reserved words are there, 32 in "C" programming language and another 30 reserved words are for C++. But in life there is a very powerful keyword present, guess what it would be! Which plays a very important role in our day to day life.i. e-"SORRY".Sorry is used as a polite way of asking someone to excuse you for having done something that might have annoyed the person. If someone scolding you in a very loud voice and he/she didn't give a chance to explain properly then you should let them speak for a moment until they speak out their issues. Feel like this, who are talking in a louder voice by dominating others then there must be some serious issues in their life, they might be in pain or suffering some problems, to hide their emotions they are taking the help of a louder style. Keep quiet and listen to their thoughts, if they are nonstop then just apply a trick by saying sorry then they must pause for a while and you should take chance at that time and start your words. Make sure your every word are polite which give them relax like medicine. Even if they are wrong and you are right you should give them a chance to speak out, when they get relax take a break and tell all the things. If they don't understand then give them time for realizing. If still, they do not understand the thing, then don't think so much and leave that topic by saying sorry. Keep your ego in your pocket and try to spread happiness. Life is too short, there is no place for all negative words. Try to smile and make everyone smile.
A few days back I read once again Ayn Rand’s Fountainhead, when I had read it earlier as a school going child I had not understood it at all. I had found it silly and boring; the old copy was still lying in the corner of my father’s bookshelf. My hand stretched involuntarily to pick up the yellow-paged old book a few days back. I started reading it late in the evening and kept at it into the night to finish in a readathon (like marathon) manner. This time I saw the book anew. It was fresh and ringed of issues and thoughts which are relevant even today, as they were at that time, in 1957, and I think they will be still relevant for years to come. The Russian immigrant writer was strong-willed, intelligent and years ahead of her time. The philosophical novel which she wrote then invited much criticism but soon it gained lots of popularity and sold millions of copies. I feel the story of the protagonist though larger than life, why I am saying larger than life as the feelings, conditions, the circumstances which he goes through are little hard to find in today’s world. Many people go through times when they have to succumb to societal pressures, make deal with their ideas, priorities and sooner or later they do it for the sake of their family, friends, careers and what not. But Fountain head’s hero is not ready for a compromise. Not as a student, never as a professional. He is at war with the complete society. He does not give up even after being jobless, alone and broke. It is an amazing read, and I will not venture further. Those who have read it will understand the points which I have mentioned. Those who have not read it, I suggest should read it.Here I want to draw out the philosophy of Fountainhead. Ayn Rand supports individualism on the face of collectivism. It is hard to digest for an Indian, as all other societies but predominantly Indian’s have always been supporting collectivism. We have been always taught to sacrifice, bend, compromise for the sake of family, society, organization and many more. As psychology says a man is a social animal and likes to live in groups. Since the period when a man was a caveman he learned a lesson that if he has to survive then he should live in groups, otherwise he does not have a chance in front of the wild animals. The lessons taken in the jungle worked wonderfully till man dwelled in a cave. It gave him security, protection, recognition, power and many more. But once the wheel was made, the fire was ignited, mines were dug, and houses were constructed things changed. The civilized world came into being, with it came rules and regulations. Discipline was ingrained and customs and traditions became prevalent and then staunch for the smooth running of the society. But, then it was possible for a man to live independently, think independently and work also. When I say independently it does not mean, to live like Robinson Crusoe alone on an island with no contact with the world. That is something totally different; it is a disorder if you choose to do it while living in this usual friendly world. When I say think independently means to take certain decisions, which could be distinct, advanced and revolutionary. It may not fit in with the run of the mill, prevalent set of thinking or working culture of a particular society. But if an individual finds it correct, if he or she has complete faith in his work, concept, project or whatever decision he or she has taken then that individual should go ahead with it with complete confidence. In short ‘dare.’In our own country, India and a huge list of foreign countries we have examples wherein we can see that since time immemorial society has ridiculed, tortured, outcasted individuals with advanced ideas which were completely strange, foreign to that generation. There is a long list, right from Galileo, the Wright Brothers, Edison, Marie Currie, Edward Jenner and many more had to go through great pains and efforts to make people realize the importance of their work. In India as well there have been many great men and women who have been educators, reformists, social workers, businessmen whose work was at first trashed but later on understood and hence accepted by people. Why is it so that people are not ready to accept anything new? I think one of the problems which I can perceive lies in the psyche. We humans or even animals get conditioned to a certain routine, habits, weather and almost everything. If we are doing a certain chore every day, or we have been listening about a certain notion over the years, coming down from parents, grandparents and so on; then our mind and even our body accept it without any resistance. In other words, we can say this is the training of a kind. Our body and mind get prepared to see and then accept certain things in a certain way. As in Fountainhead, the Americans of that time were used to see and hence build completely orthodox, conformist kind of buildings which is why they were not liking and hence opposing the innovative ideas of Howard Roark. Some are so influenced by a certain style of living, that they get upset and so angry and jealous to see innovation. Sometimes, these sensitive minds can see or judge that the idea in front of them is fantastic but they are not willing to change, they do not want to come out of their comfort zone. Here again, I will give an example of the manipulative journalist Ellsworth Toohey of Fountainhead. Just because he didn’t appreciate or understand Roark’s independent thinking, his revolutionary ideas, Toohey tried his level best to finish Roark. In the real world also, where we dwell, there are certain elements like Toohey who do not welcome fresh ideas. But I firmly believe that if we look at today’s world analytically, the progress which it has made in leaps and bounds is because of a germ of an idea, vision, a dream seen by an individual. It is very rare that a dream is carried forward by a society as a whole. It is always initially an individual dream, may be taken up by the society much later. If the individual manages to convince the society of his dream then it propels into a nationwide, statewide revolutionary idea, but never in the beginning. With assurance, I say that individualism, (as in liberty to try new things, set on a new path, try new ways at looking at this good old world) is much greater and better way of living. It should be allowed, helped, propagated and seen as navigators of the progressive world. Collectivism may have helped us in certain situations; where great upheaval is required to turn the old world structure into a new one. But here, I must point out; even this great revolution is always started by one man, one situation. To be always be trapped in the shackles of society’s beliefs, their likings, their fears, their conceptions or misconceptions, how far one can carry this heavy load. There will always come a time when one would like to dump the load and think and move freely. After all, we are genetically distinct from the sheep which follows each other with precision. We are at the peak of the ecosystem because of the structure of our brain. This boiling pot requires fresh ideas for sustenance, as only change is constant and always needed. A caterpillar which is green colored transforms into iridescent blue and does not stay green.By Anuradha Singh.

Books play a significant role in our life. They say that “When you open a book, you open a new world”. I believe that everyone would agree with this statement as books have become inevitable to mankind. For the majority of people, books are part of their everyday life. A book is like a best friend who will never walk away from you.Books are packed with knowledge, insights into a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, prayer and helpful advice. One can read about anything under the sun. Books have been here for centuries and without them today’s knowledge of our past ancestors, cultures and civilizations would have been impossible. On the 23rd of April the world celebrates the World Book Day. This day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly reading. The main aim of the World Book Day is to encourage children to the pleasures of books and reading.
Today, India is one of the most populous countries in the world, out of which most of the population is youth. Youth percentage in India is more than 50%, young people are full of abundant energy, courage, a spirit of adventure, imagination, hope, and ambition. The young men and women of India should be fully involved and creative work of nation-building and reconstruction. The younger generation, which is more generous, flexible, sensitive and dynamic, can do wonders if properly guided and motivated. In fact, the Youth is the future of India. In our country, children always taught by their parents and elders from their childhood to score good marks and be competitive and practical in life, despite of teaching them life lessons about kindness, loyalty, humbleness, helping others, etc instead of that they were taught to be mean, self centered, money-minded etc. In schools, they just got bounded and trapped between walls that just teach them to study as it is whatever it is written in the book, they don't have any practical knowledge about how the world works, how to behave, how to react in difficult situations of life, how to get rid from the unwanted problems. They don't have direction in life, they are just blindly following each other like a flock of sheep. Most of the youth are not aware of what is right and what's wrong, they are in the age where their extreme emotions can turn them into completely different individuals. They start drugs in very young age because of peer pressure and then became an addict with the passage of time. Their Brain stops working after reaching at one point when they completely dissolve themselves in the addiction. We can take the example of Punjab, where 90% of its total youth population was drug addict once, they even don't get bothered by their families, relatives etc. But all these reflect one-sidedness and lack of proper understanding on the part of the elders and grown-ups. The lifestyles youngsters adopt today are chosen either out of curiosity , peer pressure or fashion, alternatively stress, anxiety, and frustration drive them onto these paths. What is even more alarming is that the attraction of today's youth is no longer for ciggerate, tobacco, alcohol. These are now termed as soft items. The "in" things are cocaine, heroin, brown sugar which are so called as stress buster. Besides it, most of the young generation are living meaningless lives, they don't have any ambition or motives in their lives, they don't have dreams. They don't want chase success they are just living in a parallel universe where they just wanted that everything should work according to them. The time is declining very rapidly and now it's the time that they must realise that life won't work like this, they have to came out from the black hole that is attracting them everyday as soon as possible. They have to realise the meaning and importance of their life. They have to direction their lives in a particular way. The future of our country totally relies on the youth, they have to stop wasting their precious time and lives in drugs.

Everyone in this world was once a child and had gone through the phrase of Childhood. It's been that part of life where everyday was memorable, unforgettable, innocent and the best days of life. After growing up we realised that childhood days were the best days of our life, that's why everyone wants to go back to their childhood days. They were the days when there were no worries, no tremendous work load, no thinking about what others might think. Free from all these extra added problems in life. It seems to almost everyone that life was easier then, we don't have have stress, we live a peaceful life in which we were taken care by our parents and our elders. We don't think about our futures, we don't have the fear of getting judged by other people, we make friends from our heart without judging anyone's family background. Childhood is fresh Life and non corrupted. Those were the days with innocent attitude, we used to run play and enjoy every moment of our life.We used to forget the fights in few hours, no sorrows only happines. The only tension we had at that time was of homework nothing else. Relatives used to gift us, we learnt to be brave, stronge, we had our own world with no responsiblities at all. On the same time were very active and weren't obsessed with mobile/laptop.No job,No Money, no tension, free food, free hugs n kisses, bedtime stories. Eat,play,sleep......and then repeat we don't do care about anything else. You do not care how you look, what people think about you. You can play in mud without caring about your clothes, you can cry loudly anytime anywhere. We dont have any responsibilities and, the amount of care and affection towards us is so high and the major thing is that we are not blinded by money which is mere entity that cause the differences in the society. We're taken care by our parents, and elders, we're dependent on them we don't have to care for ourselves. Our hearts we're pure, unadulterated and simple. We're completely unawared from the materialistic world that was existing outside the walls. We have tensions in that period of our lives as well but they're just about studies Tensions of not finding my classwork copy just before the day of the weekly test, Tension of holidays ending and the holiday homeworks still pending. We love to get surrounded by our family, we feel secured, happy and love to get their attention. Childhood is the best part of our lives.

Why indeed? It’s a common question -Why? Kyun? Por Qué ?A three letter word that can mean a lot when used correctly. We face rejections, happiness, success, and disappointments, but do we ever ask ourselves the question why. Think about it, when your boyfriend broke up with you, did you ask Why? When your boss refused you to be the head of some project, even though you had worked hard for it, did you went up to him and asked Why? Or even when the neighbourhood aunty upturned her nose in disgust after seeing you in shorts and coming home late at night, did you stopped her and asked, Why?No, you didn’t. You just turned away and bitched about them being rude, and that you don’t care what they think. But these are some negative scenarios let’s find something positive. When that guy you had been staring at for so many months and he never noticed you, suddenly comes up and asks you out to the coffee, did you ask yourself, Why? When the boss who had refused you the head position for the last project, praises you and makes you go on a foreign project, did you ask Why now?No, you possibly didn’t, because you were happy that these things happened, and most plausibly you wrote them off as they finally realized the truth that you are great. But if you had waited for a moment and actually thought about Why did these things happen, you might have been surprised. Its true, we read many quotes and motivation speeches asking us to stay hungry, to ask questions. But how many of us actually do that? and What questions should we ask? Only one –WHY?To many, it may seem random and weird but it’s not. I learned this trick in one of the turning moments of my life when I think I needed it very much, and that’s why I want to share it with you all. Maybe reading this post can become an eye-opening and turning moment of someone’s life.We often go through life just like that, we live on the periphery and never delve deeper. When we face disappointments and hardships, we consider it a facet or a point in life that would pass. Or when we get some success, we never sit down to actually analyze and think about why it happened, we just consider it our good luck and About Damn time. But it’s not true, nothing happens according to destiny or the clocks of life. We are not mere puppets run by others, the decisions in our life, the various problems or success we face are the result of our own deeds. And we need to realize and analyze it, ask ourselves and others Why? Because when you do that, you analyze the situation you faced or are facing, you get to know the pros and the cons, the good and the bad.The job interview for which you were rejected, if you had asked the interviewer Why? He might have gotten irritated at first or stumped, but it would have made him consider the pros and cons of hiring you, it would have made him analyze you and think, why indeed? The result might have been anything, he may have reanalyzed you and decided you are actually a good fit, or he may have given you the exact reasons of why you were rejected, which would have helped you in future. So asking questions is important, but asking the right questions is more important. And the best question to ask is Why? Because when you ask this question, you can find the best of the worst situation and possibly a solution to it. For a happy situation, it would help you analyze – what you did right to achieve that success and it would act as a booster in future.Lastly, this simple question is what would differentiate you from being a simple homo sapien to being a successful person. And this is a proven fact. If you read any successful person’s biography or listen to their interviews, they always say, that whenever they faced a failure or a rejection, they asked this question to themselves and to the others, and it helped them analyze and realize what was wrong and what they had to do to make it right. That’s all to it.Next time when you face a problem or success, just take a few minutes and ask yourself, Why? It can do wonders for you, and will not help you deal with depression and hopelessness but will lead you to more success and self-fulfilment.

I expected it to be a dark romance thriller but it's a simple love story based on career and love. The title is misleading there is no seduction in the plot. The book is a bag of emotions, love, hate, relationship, passion, separation, trust, bond, joy, happiness, family, relationships, life, sadness, betrayal and many more. This is the story about main protagonist Prisha Khatri. To find out more read the book.Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. I have read the author's previous work i have much expectation from this book too but i'm disappointed this time. Plot becomes predictable sometimes. The story is faced. Narration was simple and okey. The characters are good but could not able to connect with them. A few typographical errors here and there need to be rectified. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much much better.I'll recommend this book to beginners for a light read. Characterization should be done better and i don't like the sudden climax. The cover and title is beautifully crafted. We are all taught that the most beautiful part of a fairy-tale is “happily ever after”. But we fail to notice that all fairy tales begin with “Once upon a time”. Once. It all happened. It was all real. Once. No matter who we are, what we do, or where we live, deep inside we all feel incomplete. It’s like we have lost something and need to get it back. Just what that something is, most of us never find out. And of those who do, even fewer manage to go out and look for it. Alone wasn’t just a closed dark room anymore but a whole wide world full of opportunities. I needed to explore and occupy the vastness of the world inside of me, which until now I hadn’t truly understood. In this whole wide world, where we are engulfed by the modern age technology , we tend to forget that is not a substitute for Grandma’s stories. We develop this ideology that the most valuable things are inevitably materialistic. Our mindsets are inflicted upon this idea and we forget that presents cannot buy presence. Technology has taken over the current situation. We stand in the middle of an era where we have Netflix on the tips of our fingers and Swiggying is the new cool. Technology is like that attractive magnetic pole to which we are iron nails disguised in the dust of development and modernization. On one hand it offers irresistible devices, and Mark Zuckerberg is our new hero, it is also an addition to our lives that has grappled our throats and choked us from within. Technology at its very best is an idyllic tool which is in every way a priceless possession to us. Yet it is high time that we rise from our lives barred by technology, and make judicious use of it. We are busy making connections worldwide but reckless we are to bother about the people we connect with for a lifetime. We have developed the way of life with standards set by Instagram posts and Google is our life guide. We are surrounded by lashes of social media and Google is our 2 am friend. Our lives, to be more specific have ‘technologized’ and it is not that there are no perks of this so called elixir of human life. It exposes us to the world watching us with watchful antagonism. It is a window to the world we desire to be a part of. We are no less than modified creations who have adopted technology in every realm. In this so called paradox called life, we are lost in the chaotic streets of technology, where Google and Face book reside, that we miss on the little things in life. And any person who thinks small things don’t matter, has not seen a match start a wildfire. We are building tall buildings, but our minds are narrow. We talk about development in the name of technology, but our values have certainly diminished. Unnerved by the amount of time we devote to technology oriented activities, we are in the want of something more. But at the cost of what? But let us not forget how technology has given us the tag of the modern man. Let us remember the times it has sorted ways and hardships in life. All this can be accepted only if we don’t get abolished from our roots, which is the base of our existence. Let us embrace technology as an assistance, rather than a bossy fellow who indeed has conquered our lives and harnesses the very essence of it. We shall never forget the popularization of PubG and Fortnite, all credits to our very own tech based lives, due to which our studies reduced to being acknowledged once in a fortnight, and also the Wikipedia posts we have always relied on, or has Quora taken over that position? I am in the middle of a dilemma in this fussy world encompassing of Pinterest in the heart and Google within the soul. Let us wake up to the situation and resist constant dependence on technology. Let us not completely despise ourselves. Afterall, Byju’s will be our eternal ally whenever disguised obstacles in the name of Maths hit our way. We as humans have accepted technology and have adjusted according to the acceptable conditions of it as well. It is high time we put in arduous efforts and restrain ourselves from this very a developing addiction. Nonetheless, no matter how extensively we try to change ourselves, we will have this medium called technology, always by our side. After all, we are humans.

QUOTES – CALIBER/NATURAL LOVE/REGRET STEP/FINE LOVE by Mantri Mark 1310 Tags
Let the journey begins to make quality life not only for yourself but for others.
In our regular life we always want to compete with each other.Whoever we see a little better in anyway, mostly when it comes to financial security, but it could be for fame, and power also.we always start engaging ourself in a aggressive race with each other, and the result we get is a temporary and very momentarily feeling of success which last untill we decide to race again with something else. From our childhood we are taught to rank first in everything,to compete with other human intelligence disregarding the fact everyone has different potentiality in different fields. The competition should be with our ownself not with any external force. When we were children we would be happy saying I am the first boy or first girl in our class, but this is just a lie we are told to feel good .There is no "The First" or The Last" in our life,so if there is no constant figure to achieve then why make such a small goal, which is ever changing. You may rank 100 scoring 99 out of 100.You rank 100 cause there are 99 people who did better than you as you feel it.But you should judge score not rank.you just need 1 number to get 100% ,and its not a big deal.We need to forgive ourself to let go some small small problems, we think Big.We need to think sometimes on what we achieved which inspire us in a way that if we can achieve this much then we can do better but the more you think about that 1 number you will get just frustrated out of nowhere. You can only understand yourself not others ,then how can you race with others potentiality or speciality?.I am not saying that what we are taught in childhood is totally wrong, that's right thing for a children to have but as we grow up we need to change our ways of thinking. As I said there is no certain way to determine right or wrong cause it depends on three factors,Time,Place and Person. Now there might have a question that if we don't race with others then how can we be better than others? The answer leads to actually another question "do you TRULY know what your limit is?" We don't, truly .If We always want to live in a comfort zone then our capabilities are completely unknown by ourselves, so logically there is a higher self inside you which could be a completely different person than you are now .And we all need to find that ,win that race to achieve that.To me "competition" is a word which we selfishly use to be better, but the actual word should be "cooperation" not "competition".
Myths are some historical fictional stories which provide us apparently unreal though unexplored assumptions. They provide us many truths but mostly they are overshadowed by its unreal fantasies. So we never try to understand the inner meaning of the Mythology blaming its misleading approach to Knowledge and Truth. It first influence an individual by its seductive charm and gradually to the group which he belongs and becomes part of religion. Myths often contribute heavily to our perceptions of how the world works. We may not see the incidents what is written in Mythology but always felt a great mysterious presence of reality in those divine or demonic deeds as in our lives. Myths emphasize the invisible, yet they also hint that mythic reality strongly influences everyday human life.Myth appears itself as simple stories but corresponds with our life, psychology, moral codes, Philosophy and Truth. They reveal the power of love, the violence of men, the mystery of death, relations between God and Human, and give us the answers of many Great questions but Different myth tackles these great questions in very distinctive ways.In case of analyzing Myth, we need to have courage to question belief and reality. Now the question comes how belief works? In reality mostly belief doesn’t base on Logic but some authoritative advice which people believe unconsciously, in other way Fact is provable. You dont need any faith to believe a fact. But the dynamic process of telling, listening, and reflection that continually shapes and reshapes people's beliefs about the unseen powers and forces at work in their daily lives.Mythic traditions are not simply a thing of the past but present as well . The primary sources assigned for this course, moreover, offer a glimpse of other culture's ancient stories as they not only survive, but also transform and grow in the modern period. Over thousand years ago myth was the only way to give people knowledge about the world and life but it has changed its presentation through time. That we need to understand .in modern age we discovered science to reveal the knowledge of physical things on earth. Myth did same thousand years ago. The truth is one but shown in different way.We sometime think that reality is only based on the subject we believe. And what all people say are wrong. But reality is too complex to be grasped by means of any one method of analysis. Reality is the combination of many truths concurrently. For them, stories about mythic worlds were in an important sense more real than accounts of observable facts. Yet they also pointed out hidden connections between invisible realities and the ordinary people, places, things and events that they and their audiences daily experienced. But only true visionaries can see that invisible reality exist beyond it. Myth can instruct by going beyond literal truth. Mythic storytelling also continues to evolve in efforts to explore the spiritual dimension often hidden by ordinary perception. Myth gives us many times false massages but only to disguise the truth. Some Christians may say that, it is the Post modern Dilemma where we question Eternal being. But I believe we have right to question as we have freedom to have free will.Such stories often convey important moral lessons, and bring to light important yet otherwise abstract psychological issues and moral dilemmas. The superhero and fantasy science fiction stories enjoyed by older children as well as adults explore more complex notions such as destiny and the vastness of time, highlighting the subtleties of trying to do the right thing in a complex world. Even Legends in Mythology do usually tell of such people interacting with unseen beings forces; the heroes in legends thus often serve as models for the way anyone might themselves interact with the mysterious aspects of their daily life experience. It symbolically depicts what is invisible to most.which only visionaries can see.
It doesn't matter if its legal or not , Homosexualiy will always be an issue to any culture.Yes,it took hundreds of years to be legal in some places, but its very uncertain that how long it will take people to understand their feelings and emotions ,and stop seeing them as a threat to any cultural values. People get scared if a homo stands in the vicinity, what if you get harrased somehow by him or her,or whould he or she destroy your social image. There are a lots of doubtful questions come into your mind but its not logical. Think you are heterosexual, do you like or love every opposite gender you see.if you do then you are mentaly retarded, if not then your taste of like or dislike depends on some criteria, which you might be aware of or might not.So A homo also find someone as per his criteria, it won't be everyone. But well there is a chance it could be you ,So if you deny then would that homo force you,can you force somebody to love you.You can't then why you can't befriend a homo?.We are actually insulting them giving a different category "Homo" but do they ever tease us calling Hetero. Why they can't do the same because we are more in numbers than them ,we are on the right path, maintaining the cycle of life, but they are an abomination breaking the cycle and a threat to the existence of human kind. Its true but think from perspective of your life,do you love a woman because you got a Nobel job to maintain life on earth or its just about your satisfaction and security. So just like us they also strive for their own and there is no wrong in it.This is how their body is made and if God is the creator and every creation is beautiful in its way then they are also beautiful and they are rare. There is no shame being a Homo or befriending a homo. They are different and less that doesnt mean we can dominate them. And if you have too much blind faith in scriptures then let me tell you what teaches us what is right and what is wrong,Its Life ,your experience on those actions you taken make you realize what's right in this world and you fight for it.They fought for their rights because its their truth which they protected from our kind.Even who gives you right to judge someone on basis of their sexual orientation. it's their personal matter. If sugar taste bitter for some people , you can't blame them being wrong .For you its sweet for them its bitter,no judgments should pass on personal experience. You can never prove it.So please treat them with equality. So many writers, poets and scientists were born a homo and they blessed us with their creativity. But they also experienced very hard time cause society can't accept them. May be there were more brigher minds but they are not part of history, they names are lost ,grounded in this grey soil. But its modern age,and things need to be changed.
Yes,GOD Exist. Its hard to believe the existence of God cause we can't see him, we can't feel him through our senses, he doesn't exist in the dimension we exist.as "Seeing Is Believing" there is no way to find God without Logic. Some people may not be agree with this, but as a man of faith I can believe God in Mind and Soul but I can never say or prove by anything that he exists for which you can tell me a hypocrite but if I force you to believe in something that I can't give any reasonable proof, that's what I call hypocrisy. So how can you make your brain believe in Him? Because Brain needs Logic, logic is something that we can't deny as it is the way of getting universal Truth As God has gifted us with reasoning Power . Now come to the point. We know that through Evolution we are becoming more advanced and intellectual as well. Now think How perfect our life is. And how important is the creation of life.We all know the facts which is revealed by Science, some events perfectly sequenced By Nature, which made the impossible possible, the existence of life.but can you believe it's the thing to be done by random co-incidents? Imagine you are holding 5 stones and you want to make good shape with that, now if you throw it would those be in exact same position where you wanted ,I don't think so, if you don't try to make anything perfect, you can never achieve perfection. As based on this Logic there should be something that organized the events, that shaped our Body, giving us supports to keep our life goes on.but the word God made us feel a human figure in our imagination, that's wrong. God is the power who shows his capability through Nature, the omnipotent invisible Power. Some Philosophers say that Nature is God, But Nature is a Visible thing, if follows some rules ,some instructions to sustain life,to keep balance,to keep the order and chaos. There should be something that works sitting behind of it.
I see most people are busy judging others, passing Comments on others, its like they are not living in themselves but in others life, all secrets about other people, their happiness, their thoughts, their tragedy everything, we are so curious about those people around but are we curious about ourselves? .Do you ever give time to your self, criticising your own self ? You think that you know you, but you don't? if you spend 5 minutes to yourself that's enough for a day to understand your soul, I promise. it's your life. Even not only we criticise others we fear, feel embarrassed most of the time what others will think of me, this is working in both ways. Can we not stop this habit? can we not start living in ourselves?.No third party will help you improve your life so why thinking too much. Live in your passion and be honest to yourself that the only way to improve your quality of life.we don't live much as we always complain about it but if we just use our time whatever left in a day with ourselves, I can say that would be the best time for us.we always think either in past or future even its difference is in fraction of seconds. But when you start living in present you will feel true living.that's the moment you touch reality. because that time you are living in yourself, there should be a purpose of life which is greater than life and you strive for it.you are not trying to prove to the world who you are but to yourself, to find yourself. that's the best journey, and if you are true yourself than nothing can stop you to be happy, to be successful the way you want to be. Because at that time you will feel how individual you are, how unique you are and how different you are. And this way your behavior to others will be changed also, you will feel not only your individuality but every human on earth, because they are all individual, they deserve respect, love, protection just like you need. So Be SIMPLE to yourself, be ALIVE in Your heart and most important be HONEST.
The Joy of WritingWriting has always been a noble profession, for writing it brings fame, money, respect, popularity and power ,everything they want but only a true writer knows what is the meaning of writing, the actual joy of writing. Writing is an adventure of life where we drive here and there in our thoughtful realistic imagination.we make our own rules ,we become free like birds, where we make friends, make love.its a free life with ultimate freedom to write our own fate as we wish with bare fingers,to show the exact reality of this world behind false promises.its those painting of letters on blank white pages where we paint their laughter, tears, weariness, some blushing pink cheeks.where we creat our charecters through our visions, where there is no limit of unreal fantasies, where we share all untold secrets of life, truth of life,in a faith of our own truth, philosophy of life, the way we see the world.writing is the quickest way to share our thoughts, ideas, which inspires enough young minds, those piles must be hard to build future on it.For me It makes me just happy,Sometime writing gives our mind ease when we feel desolete like a lone plant in a desert and turn our silence to a Beautiful journey,it's the only way to connect with nature or this real world as we a good writer needs to feel every minute, everything he sees, every single tune he listen, every change in weather he feels, every scents and odours he smells, instead of some people blame us calling Escapist but we want to feel the world exactly how it should be,how God created it ,we never adapt any false doctrine of society, which differs from time to time. This could be a Fiction but i feel it more real than the real world itself. But the sole purpose of writing is not only living in a dreamlike state with unlimited joy rather its best use is in rectifying our minds, society by forcing us to see what's wrong with us.

In childhood, I was a very shy kind of person. I started to write mini poems since I was eight. And my only audience who was allowed to read them was my Mom. Whether it is English Literature or Hindi Sahitya, they are my favorite past times and I love to spend most of my time into reading something. I mostly prefer mythology.I give credit to my friend Mr. Atul Singh, who was the only writer in my big friend circle. What inspired me from him was that being mechanical cum marine engineer he used to write moral punchlines and poetries over Facebook. Somewhere, I felt after seeing his posts, even I should also try it. I appreciate that he came up putting them on Facebook, as I found this helpful to publish my own written posts over my shy nature. My interest in mythology and practice of Krishna Consciousness has made me to put up my first ever-Hindi version of poem over Krishna. I shared in on Facebook, and I got good comments from my friends. This pushed me more in writing, after some time, I found myself expressing my feelings mostly in form of some poetries. Most people cannot say their self-esteem is very high. This is often preventing us from getting things in life, be it a dinner date, job opportunity or just the one pastrami sandwich we like in the cabinet. But it’s not easy to feel good about yourself and then just let the magic happen. Quite the opposite, building an image of yourself where you’re aware of your worth and focus on the good things about you can be a tedious process.Read more at 5 Simple Habits That Instantly Promote Self-Love and Confidence
Q:Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life. A: Currently I am studying in class 9. Till this day I've written over 30 poems, and the credit goes to the interest I have in literature and the way I somehow live my life to the fullest by being anxious.Q: How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? A: Nothing specifically inspired me to write for there is a lot going around in teenage years. Being an amateur in writer, I have a lot to face now. Come what may, my words won't be wasted. Q: What is your view about the present-day literary work? A: As times change, so does the face of literature. Though not so large in number, but there are various rising patrons publishing their own little worlds. Poets like me have new assets of the digital and social media. But sometimes these forums just mentally freeze a person as literature is an overwhelming field.Q: Please tell us something about your literary work. A: My poems are basically like a heart that sings alone. This includes narrating the aesthetics of some incidents, unanswered questions and whimsical daydreams. Some of my literary works reflect self-assessments done at 3 am, uncertain love interests, phases of life, ghosts of people that are still alive, and deep messages conveyed through simple words. And the rest are stupid desires, abstracts, negative glimpses, anxious drama, confessions, longing memories, unspoken words, etc. I have tried to fit them in various poetic styles such as haiku, limerick, acrostic, sonnet, sometime free verses or created my own styles. Q: What was your first literary work and how was it published?A: My first literary work was a small Marathi poem that I wrote when I was 8, though I don't have it written somewhere but I do remember it. After that I hadn't written poems and stories for some 4 years, except some school homework.Q: How many ways literature can contribute to society in future?A: Literature contributes to the society in various ways that we don't even realize. On a smaller level, it might make someone's day and on a larger level, it acts like a eternal communication. To be honest, I do not like visualizing myself with a all 'down to the earth' attitude. I'll go where my poems will get me, also, I am considering to publish my poetry collection. I would suggest the build up a community where a every person gets recognition due to his/her poetic excellence and not the other way round where a poem gets recognition due to its poet/poetess. I am, myself, a aspiring writer and from the little experience I have, I would suggest them to write as per their own terms and conditions, not necessarily tracing some great writer's steps. Initially the context stays simple and text seems jumbled but as it moves forward, context deepens and words get cleared. One's written works are little parts of one's mind you give to the world.Q: How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror? A: I am enjoying my experience with StoryMirror.I would like to add that, earlier I would surf through internet searching for writing communities based in India and would always end up on a abroad or almost closed writing communities. I am really grateful for coming across and being a part of StoryMirror and the respective contests, for being a platform for me to showcase my creativity.Q: Would you like to say something about StoryMirror? A: Also, thank you for providing me with the opportunity to share my views and opinions through this interview. Here is the link to read my content https://storymirror.com/profile/e2cgoydy/5-crookedfingers/poems
Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.I was raised in Patna for the first eight years of my life, after which my family moved to Kolkata. I completed my schooling from Garden High School, Kolkata, and later studied English Literature at Lady Brabourne College under Calcutta University. Finally, I received a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). Most of my childhood memories consist of my grandfather reading me stories, which sowed the first seeds of my obsession with storytelling and all things literary. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? Everything that happened in my life served as inspiration at one point or another, as well as the stories of other people whom I met or read about. I have also always been inspired by movies and TV shows, and routinely get obsessed with characters, whom I then proceed to write about and reinterpret in my own stories and poems.I guess my interest in literature was first born partly because of my grandfather, who would read stories to me every afternoon before we took a nap. That made me curious about storytelling, because I wanted to learn more about the characters and the world, even after the story was over. It was a mixed blessing, really, because I spent most of my student life hiding novels under my textbooks and almost flunking several exams as a consequence. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? Anything worth doing is hard to do, you know? The more you care about what you're doing, the more difficult it is, because you worry about the smallest mistakes and want the final product to be perfect. You also worry about what other people will think, whether or not reviewers and readers would like it, whether something might be misinterpreted, etc. But that's a good thing, really, because it wouldn't matter so much if you didn't love the work. The fact that it's difficult only proves that you're constantly trying to get better. When it stops being a challenge, that's when you need to start worrying. What is your view about the present day literary work? I think we're living in one of the best times in the history of humanity, in terms of literature, or artistic work of any kind. The variety and scope of opportunities that modern writers have is absolutely unprecedented. Earlier, in order to find an audience, you had to find a publisher who'd agree to invest in you, you had to then write in a way that would appeal to the largest section of people possible, to ensure that your publisher made a profit. Or you had to be insanely rich in order to opt for vanity publication, which was very expensive. Now, in various corners of the Internet, you can find all types of literary work – from fanfiction to poetry, novels to flash fiction, there is a place for everything. And all you need to access it is a smartphone and a data plan. And for the most part, you don't really have to worry about being censored or redacted. Writers have never been more free to experiment, try out new things, and have their voice be heard by people around the world.Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Absolutely. I think that the Internet is the best invention since the printing press for writers and creatives in general. Please tell us something about your literary work. I write across mediums and genres. So far, I've written two and a half novels, more than fifty poems, numerous articles, four short stories, and two fanfiction stories. Really, it depends on the type of emotion I'm trying to convey at that point. Almost everything I've ever written can be found on my blog. Well, apart from the novels. Those can be found on Amazon and also on Wattpad. What was your first literary work and how was it published? Well, I suppose my first officially published work was my novel, The Classroom Effect. It was published via Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing program around 2015.How many ways literature can contribute to society in future? In the same way that it has contributed in the past, by keeping a record of the times so that future generations can learn from our mistakes, and the present generation can reflect on the realities of the world while at the same time being entertained.Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world? Writing more stories, spinning better yarns? I don't know, really. As long as I can keep writing things that interest and excite me, I'd be happy! What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets? The best way for creative people to build communities, I think, is by freely sharing their works with those who might enjoy them. You can't connect with people if they don't know you exist. And sharing has never been as easy as it is now, with the Internet. So I think poets and writers in general should take advantage of this opportunity, and share as widely and as freely as possible. What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? Well, I'm pretty new at this myself, and I do aspire. So I'm still in the process of figuring it all out myself. If there's one thing that I have learned, though, it's that in order to do any creative work, you absolutely HAVE to give yourself the freedom to fail. You have to allow yourself to do your absolute worst work, because that's the only way to learn and get better. There's really no way around being a novice. You can't reach grade 3 without going through grades 1 and 2. If you try for perfection from the very beginning (which is what I did initially) you'll just keep disappointing yourself and never get anything done. The desire for perfection is the birthplace of writer's block. How was your experience of writing on Storymirror? It has been wonderful so far! I've read some fantastic poetry on this site and had a lot of fun sharing my own work with this lovely community!Would you like to say something about Storymirror? I think Storymirror is a fantastic platform for young writers and poets to share their work and find a community of other creative individuals. I have been on many online writing forums and websites, but this is the first time I have come across such a platform based primarily around Indian writing. We have long needed such a platform, and therefore, I think it's an amazing initiative that all budding Indian writers and literature lovers should participate in wholeheartedly! Here is the link to read my content https://storymirror.com/profile/vkzhvfka/nupur-chowdhury/poems
Free classifieds has converted me from miserable to satisfied. My father died 2 years back and left me with an old restaurant that my great grandfather started with my grandfather 60 years ago. The restaurant has stood the test of time and still has a very small but loyal customer base who had been eating there for generations, but it has remained pretty much the same since it was started, it gets an occasional paint and repair job once every decade and that's about it. I was a software engineer working with a corporate company, earning around 30 Grand a month, but I wasn't happy with the job, the job was pretty close to modern slavery, and the kind of work I did there wasn't satisfying for the soul.I wanted to take over my father's business, but I knew nothing about restaurants and to make matters worse the restaurant wasn't making enough dough for me to take care of my family's finances, as newer more efficient competitors had cropped up everywhere. I wanted to develop my business, all the banks I approached for a loan were sceptical to say the least as the property that I wanted to attest for the loan, was slowly crumbling into pieces. One fine day I was sitting at my restaurant and going through all the feasible options available, when I noticed a strange trend, more and more people were starting to get parcels there, instead of walking into a restaurant to eat which made me realize that food is my commodity not the restaurant, so I decided to market my food specially and use the whole restaurant space to start a full-fledged delivery based cloud kitchen. We ran a Kerala cuisine restaurant in Chennai, which was highly in demand, I next wanted to market my product and service in a low but highly effective cost that made me turn toward free classifieds on the internet – Used by millions of people all over India. There are so many portals where one could place free classified ads such as Quikr, Olx, Izydaisy.com to name a few in the World. Within a few months of me placing those free classifieds websites and using the social media to create awareness about my business, orders came rushing into my roof. I previously was just making 20 Grand running the restaurant business but then just in a few months it turned into 70 Grand, later a profitable amount of 100 Grand a month, I had to quit my job, which I wanted to do for a very long time, hire more chefs and delivery men. Our business got so much traction that people even started asking for our franchise. It was my humble opinion that we were not ready for a franchise yet, but we did manage to start another branch on the other end of the city which is also working great with the help of classifieds, and now I have incorporated YouTube marketing to the mix. We now have our own dedicated food channel that drives more consumers to try our products. I have also started learning to cook, I help out in the kitchen occasionally, for the first time there is nothing much to complain about in my life, free classifieds has converted me from miserable to satisfied.
Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.I graduated a semester early from Beckman Catholic High School and started taking college courses early on. Currently, I attend Northeast Iowa Community College. Given my hectic life, at the moment I am only enrolled in online courses. Ever-so-slowly, I’m working towards my Associate of Arts degree before I transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? I have always had a fondness for literature—there’s just something immensely intriguing about finding a great book and escaping into the literary world it provides. I’m always adding new books to my kindle. As for writing, I discovered early on in my childhood that I had a talent and interest in poetry. More often than not, I used poetry writing as a therapeutic tool and it proved to be a helpful means of coping with the struggles of my daily life. It still is. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? The difficulties that had the most impact in relation to my writing would probably be writer’s block and finding FREE ways to get my work put out there and/or published. What is your view about the present-day literary work? In regard to poetry specifically, the majority of my favorite writers are modern-day and from this generation. I find that I tend to gravitate towards writing styles similar to my own. I think that there has been a recent increase in writing that has a positive subject matter, which I find refreshing considering most of my own work tends to be on the negative side of life. Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? I definitely believe that social media and technology both have made a HUGE difference in the amount of opportunities available for writers. For me, personally, the digital world has skyrocketed my writing and certainly improved it.Please tell us something about your literary work. My work is almost solely poetry, and that’s what I’ve chosen to dedicate my time spent writing to. Every single piece has some sort of deeply personal connection to me or my life and, in numerous cases, my past. I haven’t had the most sunshine-y life, but in the last five years things have taken a turn for the better in the best ways. I think this positive turn for me is becoming visible in some of my writing. What was your first literary work and how was it published? My first real piece of writing that I put out there was a cheesy Love poem that I wrote around age twelve specifically for a contest hosted by what previously was Poetry.com. It’s called Definition of Love, and through the website at the time, it was published into an anthology entitled Collected Whispers. I was quite proud then, but reading it now, I almost want to blush at how obvious my youth was. How many ways literature can contribute to society in future?I think that, in the future—as well as now, even—literature and writing and poetry will (hopefully) open people’s eyes to what the world was/is like today and explore the endless possibilities of what the world COULD be.Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world? In five years, the hopes I have in regard to my writing all revolve around the simple goal of being recognized and successfully putting myself out there. It’s been a struggle finding ways to do that that won’t affect me financially. What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?I think that many positive strides have been made to do exactly this, and many more are already in the process. I do wish that there was a singular poetry community online that provided ways for writers to share their poetry with others, receive feedback, build a collection of their poetry, AND enter FREE contests/calls for submissions. I feel like, the ways things are right now, poets have to bounce around from site to site or place to place to accomplish all of those things. What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? The best advice I could ever give isn’t my own advice at all, but rather the words of Ernest Hemingway. Ernest Hemingway once said, “Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste food when you eat, and when you sleep really to sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.”How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror? To be completely honest, I have only ever been on StoryMirror to enter a contest. When I got the email requesting an author interview, I was so pleased because I feel like no other writing community appears to care about or get involved with its members/writers. Instantly, I wanted to be a more active part of StoryMirror, so I’d say my experience was wonderful. Here is the link to read my content https://storymirror.com/profile/drmr5sia/morgan-tomas-klostermann/poems
❤️The biochemistry of love❤️Falling in love is undeniably one of the best feelings in the world. The majority of people who seek psychotherapy are either looking for love, too afraid of it or recovering from its loss. Psychologist Cher Laurenti Engerer explains what happens in our brains through this fundamental human experience. Romantic love – the kind that makes our heart skip a beat and puts a bounce in our step – may well be one of the most studied but least understood human behaviours. ❤️Psychological studies about love over the last decade have taken on a new dimension. Through the technologies of MRI imaging of the brain of individuals in the depths of romantic love, we have discovered that the very sight of our loved one is enough to send our brain into a biochemical overload. It was discovered that seeing photos of people we are in love with causes our brains to become active in regions associated with pleasure and rich in so-called feel-good neurotransmitters (happy hormones), such as dopamine. We also now know that primitive areas of the brain are primarily involved in romantic love – which means that love is not something we are consciously in control of but rather a process that happens with little involvement of the central brain. Falling in love happens without us thinking about it. This phenomenon is something of great frustration for most people. In fact, clients often come for psychotherapy hoping to be hypnotised or to be taught ways of forgetting or to stop loving, which of course is not something within our human capacity.❤️People also often seek to take a rational approach to love but, based on these findings, we can see that it is scientifically impossible to be rational and in love at the same time since two very independent mechanisms of the brain are responsible for love and reason; biochemicals are the fundamental influencing factor in the process of falling for our person.❤️So what happens when we fall in love? Chemicals associated with pleasure circuits flood our brain, producing a variety of physical and emotional responses – increased heart rate, dilated pupils, flutters in the stomach, loss of appetite, sweaty palms, flushed cheeks, feelings of passion and anxiety. Levels of stress hormones also increase during the initial phase of love, something most people find difficult to understand.❤️ Romantic love is experienced as a crisis in the brain, causing an avalanche of chemical reactions which shake the pediments of our life. With the increase of certain chemicals comes the depletion of others, causing strange and irrational behaviours. Sometimes, people can even become ecstatic, obsessive, irrational and terrified.❤️We are also prone to making rash decisions in these flights of passion. When in love, the neural processes responsible for making critical assessments of other people, including those we are in love with, shut down – which in essence is the basis for the old adage ‘love is blind’.❤️ The love hormone Oxytocin deepens feelings of attachment and makes couples feel closer to one another after having sex. It elicits feelings of joy, passion, safety and serenity. The lustful part of love is caused by testosterone and estrogens; other chemicals known as monoamines are responsible for attraction.❤️Heartbreak is a strong feeling of grief or despair. It can be experienced as a physical pain in the chest and at times can also be chronically debilitating to our lives, sending us into emotional turmoil and distress. This experience is also fundamentally biochemically based. In essence, it can feel like a ‘withdrawal’ from an addiction, during which ‘happy hormones’ leave our body or try to equilibrate and regulate themselves.❤️Heartbreak causes a volcano of chemical reactions which bring strong feelings of sadness and stress. Our brain triggers that we are in trauma, sending us into an autonomic loop of survival instinct. Life suddenly becomes about coping and our brain floods us with alert signals of danger and copious amounts of stress hormones in our blood. When we fall in love, chemicals give the body a goal and when heartbroken, the very same chemicals in the brain go out of whack, causing a chronic chemical imbalance. Heartbreak takes time to heal and has to run its course.❤️If love lasts, the rollercoaster of biochemical reactions and emotions tends to calm within one or two years, a term people commonly refer to as the end of the ‘honeymoon period’. Brain areas associated with pleasure are still activated as loving relationships proceed, but with the decrease of oxytocin, we also experience a decline in passion and craving.❤️Some propose that over time most couples see a change from passionate love to what is typically called compassionate love – a love that is deep but not as euphoric as in the early stages of romance. This is often a critical period for couples. Some assume they are no longer in love, some seek the passion elsewhere and others experience silent disappointment.❤️The good news is that it is actually possible to stay madly in love with someone after decades together. Research using MRI scans has shown that the same intensity of chemical reactions was observed in couples who had been together for over 20 years, as in those in the early stages of love. So, why do some couples have this and others not? Is it possible to rekindle the flame we experienced in the early days of our relationship after being bogged down by life, children, sickness and work pressures? The study suggested that the excitement of romance can remain while the apprehension is lost.❤️By Rajabala Tripathy
Indian society is giving women the liberty to be sexually active. After hearing of multipartners and wife swapping, the new flavour of the season is of Indian wives dating other men.The syndrome which has become really hip and popular today is ‘my wife’s boyfriend.’ Women today have come out of the four walls of the house and have started experimenting with their sex lives. For many years, the issue of extramarital affairs was thought to be a “woman’s issue” – that is, women dealing with their husbands’ affairs.Today, while large numbers of husbands are still having affairs, there has been a significant increase in the number of Indian wives having affairs.A recent survey done on contemporary marriages by the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai, has brought to light the fact that there is a rise in extramarital affairs, and couples know and accept their partner’s paramours. But the most surprising finding is that more and more married women are looking for love or rather fun outside marriage. With the work place and the Internet, overscheduled lives and inattentive husbands – it’s no wonder more Indian women are looking for comfort in the arms of another man.Women interact with men more at work. They go for more meetings, take more business trips and presumably participate more in flirtatious water-cooler chatter. These light or intensive flirtations whatever the women opts for give them a self-esteem boost during work hours and don’t rock the boat at home.Gone are the days when cuckolding was a social taboo. Today globalization has spawned an almost experimental outlook towards sex.In an age where porn has hit the streets openly, women today do not hesitate to break the ‘humdrum’ of their lives by experimenting with their sex lives and this experimentation is no longer a man’s prerogative. Today wives are acting on the urge more than ever. With husbands pursuing demanding careers and having no time for the home, or for that matter sex, it has led to wives looking for adventure outside marriage.Husbands are also aware of it, because they know that they cannot give them the time. The neglect of their personal life by husbands has led to women becoming desperate for attention and they don’t mind flaunting their boyfriends.Often we want to hold on to relationships because we do not want to get out of our comfort zone. Even if the marriage is not healthy, we tend to hold on to it for various reasons.Whether through an open relationship or just a fantasy, looking elsewhere is not the root cause of trouble in relationships. Instead it’s the fact that we crave adventure in our humdrum lives and most marriages fail to provide that. Many women say that an affair outside marriage has changed their lives for better because they feel desirable in the arms of somebody else.In addition, when women break out from a truly committed relationship and run free, the question is not what they are running towards, but rather what is it they are running from.In this situation looking for love elsewhere tends to be a life pattern triggered by fears (of commitment, of being loved, of waking up with the same person every morning).Over the years, though the institution of marriage is still alive, there is a sea of change in the relationship between husband and wife. People these days look more for financial security than emotional.“The love and care is definitely there, but passion definitely dies away with years. From having sex once a week, they have sex one a month or may not even for months together. It is high time we accept the fact that everybody needs variety in their sex life,” says Devyani Rao, a stylist with a leading lifestyle magazine. In Indian society, people generally have marriages of convenience. According to Mumbai based psychologist, Dr. Varkha Chulani, “This condition of wives having affairs generally arises in 80 percent of marriages today because there is very little communication with each other. For most women, an inattentive husband is the biggest problem, and husbands too have accepted this situation because they refuse to go through the tedious process of divorce.”While the woman is on the lookout for love outside marriage, she is definitely in no mood to leave her husband. She just wants to have her share of fun.For women who have been married for many years and for whom the whole life is about taking care of their kids and their house life definitely becomes very monotonous for them. It becomes natural for them to look for love outside marriage, just to spice up their life. There are several reasons that men accept this arrangement. Firstly, they don’t want to go through the legal hassle of divorce.Second, after spending so many years of togetherness they get used to each other and just knowingly shut their eyes. Third, it gives the man a green signal to have fun with other women.

Epilepsy is a brain disorder which causes repeated seizures. There are many various types of epilepsy as well as many different kinds of seizures. Epilepsy can come in the way of life, especially when seizures keep happening. To control their seizures, people with epilepsy might take medicine, have surgery, or follow a special diet. One can live a normal life if he takes proper Epilepsy treatment. Below few things are pointed out what you should know:1. Epilepsy is quite common. In fact, you might know people around you having epilepsy. In 2015, approximately 3 million adults (age 18 and older) and 470,000 children (age 17 years or younger) had active epilepsy in the United States. That’s around 3.4 million people, that are more than the number of people who live in Montana, Delaware, and New Hampshire combined.2. People with Epilepsy Can Also Live a Happy Life. Many of the people with epilepsy can do the exact same things that people without epilepsy do. There are too many successful people with epilepsy who work in sports, medicine, government, entertainment, and other professions.Individuals with uncontrolled seizures or severe types of epilepsy face more challenges and also find it difficult to work or go to school daily. Few adults dealing with epilepsy have a hard time finding jobs, transportation, and affording medical care.3. Seizure first aid is uncomplicated to give.Around 1 out of 10 people may have a seizure at some stage in his or her lifetime. That means seizures are common, and one day you may need to help someone. First aid for seizures involves helping the person to be safe until the seizure stops on its own and knowing when to call the doctor for emergency help.It has become necessary that professionals such as school nurses and other school staff, law enforcement, first responders, and childcare workers understand the concept of epilepsy and how to offer first aid. CDC provides training programs for these groups through a partnership with the Epilepsy Foundation.4. Seizures can look different than you expect. What comes to mind when you talk about a seizure? In the movies and on TV, many a times they show a person falling to the ground, shaking, and becoming unaware of what’s going on around them. That’s one type of seizure, but it’s a very rare one. Many a times, a person dealing with a seizure may seem confused, stare into space, wander, make unusual movements, or can’t answer questions or talk. At times it is hard to tell when a person is having a seizure, so it’s necessary to learn how to recognize different types of seizures.5. Few Causes of Epilepsy Are Preventable.Epilepsy can be caused by various conditions that affect a person’s brain. Sometimes, doctors don’t know the cause. Traumatic brain injuries, some infections such as cysticercoids, (which are the leading cause of epilepsy worldwide), stroke, as well as pregnancy complications are several preventable causes of epilepsy.
1.2003 - J.W.Marriott - Jakarta,Vietnam2-2008 - The Taj Mahal Palace - Mumbai,India3.2008 (September) - Marriott Hotel - Islamabad,Pakistan4.2008 & 2010 - Serena Hotel - Kabul,Pakistan5.2009 (June) - Pearl Continental Hotel - Peshawar,Pakistan6.2009 (July) - J.W.Marriott & Ritz Carlton - South Jakarta,Vietnam7.2011 & 2018 - Inter Continental - Kabul,Afghanistan8.2015 - Park Palace - Kabul,Afghanistan9.2019 - Shangri-La,Kingsbury,Cinnamon Grand - Sri LankaThe above list is a mere collection of various attacks at several places in different countries by terrorist groups on big five star hotels, but the amount of destruction each has caused to every sphere of life is something we need to worry about. Apart from these, there have been many other devastating attacks carried on by these terrorists, since over a decade at various epicenters in South Asia, or rather specifically in the Indian Sub-Continent along with French Indo-China. Eg: The Pulwama attack (2019) - IndiaIt seems like neither do these terrorist groups understand the importance of 'international peace' nor are the governments of different countries or international institutions able to completely resist and maintain international order. These groups have their own grievances, grudges and bases upon which they get so combative. But the matter of fact is that they still draw support, and from whom?People of my age group (15-20) and young adults (21-26). Getting hypnotized by them, these youths don't just go against their motherland but also end up in black holes of life as there just pulled in and completely lost; they lose their senses and work only for the terrorists. Moreover how many of us have actually bothered to go check the news reports regarding anything on the pernicious attack our neighbour faced or checked the death tolls (its 359).The only way to describe it would be 'deadly' and truly it was.But why such big hotels?(they were common through the list also) Aren't you thinking that? Rather shouldn't you be thinking about that in the first place?Anyway, the answer is that an attack on commercial sites creates more havoc than an attack at the borders or protected and forested areas. The amount of damage such attacks have, especially on infrastructure is more wide spread.Another idea behind such attacks is to draw international attention by killing foreigners who check in and out of hotels daily and simultaneously create a deep tension and situation of panic among residents. Killing the outsiders and horrifying the locals is what they wish to do.All in all, they want to hit the sentiments of each and everyone, governments or citizens, young or old, visitors or residents, infants, mothers or grandmothers, they spare none.Honestly as a writer i don't see any purpose in writing this article until every single person reads it,becomes aware and understands it. After all we don't want any of our family members/relatives/ friends to see or face such awful situations and for that matter even ourselves to be in the fires of death. Also its not completely alright to debate on such wasteful wars or attacks. Before time ticks out we need to get into negotiations and maintain international tranquility. Further if there's a need, the governments and other institutions have to end this game, rather gamble of life, peace and territories. Its high time and we need to curb this social evil.In Hindi " is atankwad aur in atankwadiyon ko bhi jad se ukhad fek na hai".So lets join hand together to create a better, harmonious society for the future and the best thing to serve the purpose would be creating awareness.Lastly lets pray for all the victims. So hows the josh??

Much like yoga,Trekking is an exercise that brings you together the body and the mind And makes your spirits shine, With the nurturing and the taming of your mind, You better the feelings that are food for your soul.Like yoga; in its process and exercise, trekking has a lot to do with breath-work and breath-control leading to mind control. The process of trekking then, further goes on to healing and fixing the energy loopholes of your being. The exercise of trekking is getting popular everywhere in the world. India and Nepal, the areas that are close to the Himalayas are in the spotlight because wisdom comes down from the great Himalayas to these lands. There are a plenty of trekking destination in India, and even more difficult trekking destinations in Nepal. The Annapurna base camp trek in Khandruk, Nepal is a doable and yet difficult trek that I recommend people to participate in.I will go as far as to say that trekking is a meditation and that’s because as widely it is believed that meditation requires one to be still and calm and composed; that may not be the entirety of meditation. Meditation is a practice that we do to activate our minds that has been either focusing on certain things too much, or been too relaxed or out of focus in its functioning.Meditation is essentially a practice that makes your concentration power more and more flexible and stronger. By explanation, concentration is the power of being able to contract and expand your consciousness and hold it for as long as required. Our consciousness gets out of practice and things start to get monotonous. When we go for trekking, the mind is expected to achieve great levels of concentration because it demands the holding capacity of your concentration, which, if not present, will kill you on your trek. That’s why people who have a good hold of their concentration can take up more and more difficult treks. Hence trekking is a form of moving meditation. It can be justified that trekking is essentially yoga in consistent movement and a faster method of unraveling and opening up. If you trek for a living, your body will find itself in a perpetual state of movement, and the mind at rest and in control at all times.Trekking demands for you to be mentally present at all times, or else your reality will be altered very easily and you may lose consciousness, which is why you may find trekkers walking silently in concentration. So what happens when we calm our minds and trek silently? We make our minds more and more alert so that it helps channelize all the energy in the body to be utilized by the physical activity! When your mind is calm and focused and your body is in movement, you become the humblest version of yourself at that moment because you are focusing on the bare necessities to keep you alive and walking ahead. And when humans get what they need and not what they greed, people are humbler and in greater harmony with themselves and each other. It will not be surprising to say that people, who trek as a lifestyle choice, live longer and live life in its full essence because all they have to do is walk away and find another strange place to find comfort in. What happens when you are trekking is that you are meditating with each step, your mind is calm, your body is in movement and your spirits are enriched versions which is how things are supposed to be in life, where people are only caring for their necessities and not for their greed. But the city life has introduced a lot of greed and in times when we exist in satisfaction, we may encounter moments of greed which leads our body and soul in the direction to achieve that greed that we inculcated in us. What we are doing while trekking is focusing on the bare necessities of life. With trekking you will go the natural way, and the natural way always leads to more satisfaction than running madly after something that you don’t even need. The “time” that you buy, is the “age” you have bought for yourself to live.Trekking does have tremendous scope for spiritual growth as well. Wisdom comes with the patience that we are willing to give to the things that are necessary for us, after we have bought all that time from meditating in movement. We are free to spend it on what may be an essential knowledge to pass down to your next generation. Whatever knowledge that people gain from spending time on gaining it, internalizes in our body and down to our genes...So you decide what information and knowledge you want to pass on to the coming generation. Trekking is extremely beneficial for your mind body and soul because when you are on a trek, you are feeding your entire being with all the goodness it needs internally and externally’ with every step you take, the problems you face on this journey are different from not meeting a project deadline…. You see, you’re more worried about collecting enough firewood to grant yourselves a heart-warming bon-fire when you want to take rest.
