Rating: 4/5Dan Brown once replied on a question asked to him about "How much similar he feels when people compare him with Robert Langdon?" He simply replied that it's not alike because Robert is much more courageous and adventuress than him. (paraphrase)Dan Brown answer to Question (mention above).I think Dan is lying about that. I think he enjoys more than anyone and at least surf into excitement created by him for Robert Langdon. From the day, Dan discovers this symbologist, this men (Tom hank) is on run to uncover world biggest discovery and conspiracy through his exceptional intelligence and photographic memory. In this book also Robert never missed any chance to surprise readers with his sheer intelligence. So, Robert tries to answer humans most ancient questions through the help of his friend Edmond Kirsch who ironically killed by a Spanish admiral. Mount Kailash,a holy mountain not only for we hindus but for most of the religion like buddhist and jains are now under certain controversies for its location, sudden climate change and unsuccesssful attempts to reach to the peak of the mountain by many mountaineers who give one of the strangest expalanation for not accomplishing their mission to reach to its peak. So here we will go through the detailed information about our sacred mountain Kailash.so first of all we will see its religious significance that what this mountain mean for different religions like for we hindus it is the abode of the god of gods Mahadev also known as Shiva, Shankar and a thousands of names through which we can refer him to.So let's begin with JainismIn this religion mount Kailash is also known by the name Mount Meru. the believers of Jainism religion say that the first Jain Tirthankara,Rishabhanatha attained Moksha(liberation) on the mount Ashtapada, the mountain which is just next to the mount kailash.HinduismAs already told above in hinduism the Mountain Kailash is belived to be the abode of our beloved lord shiva, the adiyogi, the anadiyogi. Here he live along with his wife accompanied by two childrens i.e Kartika and Ganesh.According to charles Allen, a British freelance writer and a popular historian, one description in the Vishnu Purana states that its four faces are made of Crystals which are:- ruby, gold and lapis lazuli. Mount Kailash is also declared as the pillar of the world and is located at the heart of six mountain ranges representing a lotus.Buddism Like Jainism, in buddhist text too it is refered by the name of Mountain Meru. and Just like we hindus, it is a major piligramage site for Buddhist too. Vajrayana (various Buddhist tradition for tantra and mantra) buddhists believes that mount kailash is the abode of Buddha Cakrasamvara(also known as Demchok) who represents supreme bliss. BonBon, a religion native to Tibet, says that the entire mystical region and Kailash, to which they refered to as the "nine-story Swastika Mountain", is the Axis Mundi, Tagzig olmo Lung Ring. Now since we are over about the beliefs of different reiligion about mount Kailash we should now go to the facts about this mysterious mountain and learn whether the god is realy there on the mountain?and whether he is the one who is preventing these mountainneers from climbing this sacred mountain or abode of his.So, here you go:-1. Mount everest, the highest peak in the world has an altitude of 8848m while mount Kailash has an altitude of just 6638m.The mysteroiuness lies in the fact that till now around 4000 peoples have climbed mountain Everest but not a single being has been able to reach the peak of mount Kailash.2. A pact was made among climbers to not to scale those mountains which were considred holy by any religion and mount kailash is not only considred sacred by only one religion but four. well, some were not able to agree by this pact and finally the british climbers Huge Ruttledge and Lt col Wilson tried their hands But mysteroiusly ran out of time and poor climbers! have to return with bare hands.3. Many adventurers and climbers have claimed the sudden change in weather conditons there. and it has been observed that nails and hairs grow faster than usual. Truly god has some presence there otherwise it wouldn't have been possible for anyone to stop those passionate adventuorers and climbers from achieving their feet.Man has become so technologically strong these days that it can unleash any mystery of nature but we are humans, the creation of god and our all powers and creations are absolute to zero in front of god.that is our limit and we have to admit it anyway. In this context once Reinhold Messner, who condemned the Spanish plans for climbing the sacred mountain, saidIf we conquer this mountain, then we conquer something in people's souls. So, what do you think guys. Is lord shiva still residing there?well i kept my opinion now its your turn. comment below to let me know what you feel.#smblogcontest

Review: The Lightning Thief, in Heroes of Olympus, Rick RiordonImagine being a half happy. Being half sad. Being half of any expression or substance and not completely belonging to a clan or community which you can call your own. Imagine not being able to belong anywhere. Percy was one such character.Rick Riordon with his first novel in the series of Percy Jackson And The Olympians crafts one of the best selling fiction books and etches his name in the world of fantasy literature. In his book, the protagonist, Percy Jackson is anatomically, a half blood being. An exciting blend of human and a god.(That consternation when you imagine humans and Gods procreating!) Adapting many characters from the Greek Mythology of heroes and demons, Riordin traverses the readers through a world where the spectator wants to enter this realm of fantasy and live through it.The book starts to make a direct peak in the young readers life, by showing the Jackson’s tough time surviving in school because of his dyslexic nature. After having changed his school umpteen times, he gives up and makes his up his mind to settle and work towards his improvement in his personal and official life. He lives a normal teenage life, with his mother (who is more human than the two parents!) which comes with its own qualms. He tackles his love interest, reads top rated books and struggles in class like you would expect an average teenager to handle his life to be. Hence making it one of the best reads in fantasy novel section in a student’s and adult’s library too. The twist in his destiny comes when he experiences a tiff with one of his professors. Which is unusual since Percy is one docile creature. The tiff brews into a battle where his real identity is revealed and Percy is welcomed to the world of monsters and gods. After a heated battle and a headfull of mind numbing confusions, Percy returns to his house and is promised by his mom to be taken to his favorite Beach in Mantauk. At Mantauk start the real cat -dog race between dreams and reality. His greatest fear and unsettling notion of not being able to fit anywhere suitable for him and experiencing an unknown power over water gets to him and is teleported. Rordion makes this transition seem so swift and endearing it relates to every student’s transition to high school years, which makes it one of the best children’s books. He is taken to a place where he belongs, Camp Half Blood, and made to introduce with his new group of mates who are just as unique in their genealogy as he is. He, along with his favorite friend,Grover who now has become his satyr are introduced to a world of magic, sorcery and witchcraft. Percy finds himself in the mirror by the masters and centaurs who teach him about his life their and his identity unravels as the son of Poseidon- god of the sea. While Percy is following a strict and lax regime at the same time in his real home, meeting with other Demi-gods(Annabeth) (We ship them together!), things take toll in his personal life as his mom gets kidnapped and the world basically starts to tear down. In such a hassle to understand the reasoning behind these events, he is informed of another accusation made on him the Olympians. He becomes a target under suspicion when the king of the Gods,i.e Zeus’s lightening bolt gets stolen. Percy travels through many worlds and crosses his boundaries on the quest to decipher the thief and clear his name. He encounters many hellhounds, monsters and Oracle prophecies get to Percy just like his examinations and social gatherings used to. He learns and masters his skills and spearheads his connect with water through his half stallion, half human teacher, Chiron and uses them to protect Annabeth, Grover against trouble. While getting rid of Hades and his callous tricks to stop Percy from his pursuit to trap him and his team, he exercises his full power and shows his wrath to the God of Wrath himself. Nobody messes with the son of Sea! After passing all the hurdles and dodging arrows, Percy finally is able to restore the peace amongst the gods in Olympus and he goes onto retrieve his mother as well. A well crafted novel revolving around Greek Gods and monsters become very relatable because of the author’s simplistic and innovative expression makes it an impressive story book in english for adults as well. All turning out well at last, but this is just the latest in the series of new novels under the Heroes Of Olympus by Rick!

Blurb:OVER A SPAN OF TEN YEARS, HE KILLED FORTY PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEN VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. AFTER FIVE YEARS OF SILENCE, HE IS BACK AGAIN, SEEKING HIS NEXT VICTIM. ONLY ONE MAN CAN STOP HIM – PROFESSOR BLACK.Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer’s house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer ‘Kansa,’ who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. She appealed to her department to bring back Professor Black to help her catch the killer. The Professor, who had a haunting past that had kept him away from the world of crime and investigation for several years, was not willing to take on this case. But the ACP managed to convince him to get on board just for this one last time. Soon after agreeing to help, the Professor realized that for the first time in his life, he had met his match. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed.Intrigue:‘Kansa’ is the First book of ‘The Killer trilogy’ series by Prassant Kevin. The book narration starts with a couple who are traveling back after marriage at Corbett, whose car met with an accident, which rans out on Meher who is an escaped victim from KaNsa. The story grips with “ACP Saargi Desai” who suspects the impression of serial killer Kansa, who seeks help of a alcoholic, drug addict, womanizer yet criminology expert “Professor Black” to break this killing mystery of forty pregnant women and their babies. Not to further be a spoiler, this book answers the questions:Who is kaNsa?Why is the motive of killing pregnant women and their babies?Did ACP and Professor could break this mystery ?How Meher escaped from killer clutches ?To know yourself, read this crime thriller kaNsa. My Review:To start off , the book cover is damn awesome specially the EMBOSED title, the background picture and fine quality paper with bigger font which is handy makes happy to carry. It was one of the most awaited crime thrillers, the pace of book is very good and you will not find yourself bored at any point and a perfect nail biter.Book starts with a hidden message, a second of driving negligence needs more pay off and in other way that paves a great start as clue to find the serial killer, “There is no one either good or bad, but circumstances make them so” , one of the best thing in kaNsa is the story is written and narrated in third person point of view. writing style is pretty clear, decent content and has minimal grammatical errors, can be ignored in interest of plot. The narration was so perfect, I can feel those come before my eyes when I am reading the book (may be due to midnight read)At few places due to suspect and mysterious nature, readers will literally experience chills in their spine (sweet warning), this book pulled me from love and romance to crime and suspense genre ( I stacked three already) ,title kaNsa and story progress makes the keen readers feels the mythological impression in the intrigue.Below few unanswered questions made me to go with a star less:1. Professor Black family ?2. Logical or medical reason to kill pregnant women3. The necklace4. Two pictures of of three by Meher5. Annu Kesharwani, white rabbit6. Exact male who torture and kill pregnant women7. Arjun involvement in crimeLooking forward for Book:2 in this trilogy series, overall kaNsa turns out to be a perfect crime thriller, with decent story-line,well narrated, fit to screen-played, minor grammatical errors, nail biting page turner. Even the last page has an amazing twist that paves a thought for the upcoming one. kaNsa serves as reference for “Criminology” enthusiastLink:KaNsaRegardsKiran K Adharpuram

My tick- tock waiting watch is stopped and finally I am giving my verdict on Pralay – the great deluge.I enjoyed Pralay-The great Deluge which is the second part of Harappa - the curse of the Blood River.Like the volume one, this book holds the equivalent charisma and page turner for all. Several characters role play shows instantaneously in this book, like a historical drama based move rolling.Coming to the story, in the last book we had seen that Vivasan pujari was sentenced to mrit karavas like a hell type place and on the next day numerous torture done by King Chandrashekhar army. He landed to the west of Harappa, at the place of Sura, the mighty demon king, with the extreme mental country of in search of revenge of the fatality of his beloved soul mate Sanjana and his single son. The mighty king agrees to help him, but in exchange for something, which stunned the great devta for an instant. On the other end in Banaras, Vidyut flabbergasted and immobilized to see the sudden alteration of Bala, his brotherhood friend. On which earth Bala tried to kill Vidyut and who is the mastermind behind it. Each passing moment Vidyut condition is getting life-threatening. Does he recover from it? In the meantime, meanwhile, the Masaan Raja, the deity of the dead, Trijaat Kapaalik entered the matth with his 666 maniac followers and his guts left everyone stunned in the matth. What was the purpose to visit in such horrible phases to the Matth? Another fragment of the story, Manu succeeded to get away with the lifeless body of his adored mother with the support of Pundit Somdutt and swift with his horse to the East of Harappa in search of the Black Temple as directed. On the way, he met Matshya, a mystery man.Manu seeks help from this mystical man Masaya for taking revenge for the death of his parents. Did he help Manu on his mission? All mystery will solve, once you go through the book. The fast pace of the book holds you till the end & it’s a single sit read for me. Writing a historical fiction is a tough job and need too much research to make it the best. The Author has succeeded in that case. Language and narration are breath-taking from its first page of the book. Mythology was never my cup of tea, but recently I have read few amazing mythology related novels including this and I just loved it now. I was gripped and enthralled by the transformation of the pujari into evil. Saptrishi and Vidyut played and justified their role. The cover is not unique still simple and good it could have been better. The title is catchy, this book I never thought will be released soon I must pat on the back of author for his creativity and imaginations!4/5 to this book!
In a biosphere emaciated by human faults of greed, ignorance, lies, cowardice, and unnecessary aggression, a new society has arisen. From the brink of disaster, humanity has modernised itself in a future version of Chicago, split into five factions that sustain and live by a single core value.
I am a thriller freak. I am a person who will always pick up crime/mystery novels over contemporary fiction. I read some really good crime thrillers last year by Indian Author so when this opportunity (review copy) came to my door, I couldn’t refuse.
The plot is gripping and engrossing as it takes the readers into the world of crime, murder, and evil psychopath - Kansa. Forty pregnant women have been murdered along with their unborn children over a long span of time by Kansa. ACP Desai has been given the responsibility to solve this complex mystery.
Are limits subjective? Should there be limits? If yes of what nature? If no why?
This novel ‘Reminiscences of a seeker-Dark face of a white world’ by Kapil Kumar Bhaskar is an immensely thrilling book. At certain times, it will surely make readers get goosebumps because of the art of the author’s writing and the feelings we get through the story.

Title :Wheels of WishAuthor : Bibhu Datta RoutBlurb : Imprisonment of a couple in the Dwapar Yug and the creation of magnetism at Sun temple in Konark has a great deal of linkage to a missing boy in the 13th century carrying the mightiest power of the universe that transcends in time across generations leading to an alleged rape and murder accusation to the story's protagonist, an investment banker Shashank Chaudhary in 2008 who flies from New York to Odisha to find himself trapped in an 800 years old enigma. A biological allegory that unfolds a historical and mythological mystery that counts back in time as far as the epic Mahabharata. One that surpasses time and the material world with its mathematical calculations within physical elements. Unexplainable evidences, puzzling data, conspiracy theories and unheard secrets intermingle with one another to create plots in the history of time that have been startling scientists and mythologists to date. It's now in the court room that he must face his worst fears and probably the world's greatest held secret, a rare phenomenon of a chromosomal defect, from an unexpected guest. My View : The blurb of the book will definitely fill the curiosity in the reader’s mind. The lovely cover and the title Wheels of Wishes worked completely in grasping my attention making me more curios to unfold the story residing in the book. All the characters are portrayed beautifully; the author very well briefs about the characters at the beginning of the book but still a reader may get confuse as there are numerous characters dwelling in the story. The story is locked with a lot of drama having tints of history and mythology. The way author has painted the details of history is really commendable. Author must have done a lot of research in order to portray such details clearly in his book. Portraying such kind of stories requires knowledge and skills. The tagline on the cover of the book already suggest that the story holds a crime; author has crafted the story very well and the crime revolving around the other events having details of history lands the reader on a different node. The story goes on switching its way from past events to present. The book also contains the hues of love of Shashank and Roohani, murder mystery, rape case and lot more to locate. The writing style is simple which makes the reading journey easy for me. Articulation of the sentences could be much better which will help in attracting the reader’s mind. I found the narration of the story moderate which weakens the links between the reader and the story. Fascinating Read!Rating : 3.5/5Reviewer : Megha Biloniya
I was on my way to pick up my friend Roshan at his office. We planned for a lunch at the nearby restaurant.I started a bit earlier from my room in my new car, which I got recently in a lucky offer for shopping. Initially I can't believe it. Later on, I have to. Everyone in my family felt so happy for it and some of my relatives felt jealous too.On the way, I saw someone standing and asking for lift.I stopped the car and asked him "where do you want to go ?"He told me that he was going to attend an event in the nearby auditorium. The auditorium was on the way to Roshan 's office. So I asked him to get in.He was about six feet tall, broad shouldered, with thick black hair, blue eyes, and a smile on his face. He introduced himself as Aravind. He was talkative. We reached the auditorium within a few minutes and he got down the car and asked me to join along with him for the event. I told that I was going to meet my friend for lunch. He asked politely to join with him for sometime. He told that his friend will attend with in a short period.Untill then he asked me to accompany him. Still I have half an hour left for lunch and Roshan's office was near. So I agreed at the end.No one would have agreed for this deal unless me because he was a stranger but his behaviour made me to agree. He told that the event will be special. The auditorium was well decorated and almost full. We seated in the very first row which made me somewhat uncomfortable. It seemed to be a debate between the existence of God and science. Two groups were present in the dais probably one supporting God and the other science.Aravind got a call and he went out as the voice was not clear .The event has begun. Almost everyone involved in the discussion present in the dais.I waited for Aravind to come back but he wasn't. I am getting out of time and I thought to leave the auditorium but I thought it seems to be unfair to walk outside when a serious debate is going on.I thought for a while and I walked closer to dais and stood at the centre and asked them that I would like to express my opinion to which they all agreed."I am sorry for the interruption. I am Prashanth, an Android games developer working for Nextwave multimedia.I don't think both God and science are opposite to each other.Basically science is the study of structure and behaviour of physical and natural world through observation and experiment. And it clearly mean that it is not a separate entity. All the knowledge, information obtained from human inventions and discoveries is collectivelly called science. So it is clear that if scientists found the proof for the existence of God, then science has to accept the god but it may define in it's own terms. And I believe one day it might happen.Due to lack of communication and misinterpretation, people misunderstood the concept of God in olden days.""Then, why different religions exist ?" asked someone among the crowd ." That's what I am speaking about. Hope you understand better if you re-think my words. ""Then where can we find God ?" asked someone who is present in the dais .I smiled and replied " If I time travel and reach 1400 A.D and ask the working principle of aeroplane, he might wonder what it is because the question had no appropriate answer at that time. But now the time has changed and things too. I think you got my point."" I am a Christian. I believe only Bible. Why should I read Vedas , Quran, etc ?" asked someone." Peace and love is the essence of every holy book. It’s we the humans who judge each other based on caste and religion. God has no discrimination. Many people in the name of religion corrupted the term "God" .If you go through rig Veda, it is completely science which explains most important principles like big bang, electro magnetic field , conversion of mass and energy, etc.But no one has time to go through all these serious subjects. Now scientists were shocked to see the their research results are completely matching with the science mentioned in Vedas and some other sacred tests. The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of the 20th century. The Quran and the Bible mentioned the expansion of the universe even before the invention of the telescope!According to Rig Veda, INDRA is Electric power , SOMA is Electric Charge. Agni is Photon, Vayu is FIELD!RUDRAs are Radiation. Maruts are Radiation Pressure and Aswins are MAGNETIC Poles! Varuna is ELECTRON, Mitra is PROTON and Aryama is NEUTRON.We are not aware of these important facts. And we don't know the actual meaning which is written inside any holy text. For this reason, the confusion arises and which finally lead to wrong paths."" I am a devotee of Lord shiva. I believe he is the only God .Then why people worship many gods ? What do you say ?" asked a devotee of Lord Shiva." We are not only the creation by creator. We are just one among the infinite creations by the creator. God is the name used to represent the creator.God is not associated with any religion. And more importantly, we are living in this tiny planet called Earth in the solar system of milky way galaxy. But he is mighty and collection of infinite energy in the universe. He doesn't care with the name because people call creator with different names for their ease. How we, being humans can name the supreme power of universe ?And, A TV channel changer is called Clicker in England but Remote control everywhere. Do you know that ?""Yes , but ....."" Thank you gentlemen. That is your answer."Finally I would like to say God is the only answer for every question which don't have a reasonable answer yet and science is the answer for every question whose answer was discovered or invented."And I stepped down the dais and the auditorium filled with silence and surprise. I walked out immediately. Then,I got a call from Roshan. He told me that their office building caught fire and the situation was serious.I reached his office with in a short period and I found Roshan standing there in the crowd. He spotted me quickly and came towards me .He told "It was really horrible situation. I was helpless in third storey and the fire was spreading everywhere and suddenly a guy came and saved me . At that moment , I was speechless and even unable to thank him ....""Who was he ?" I interrupted."After Saving me, he went to rescue my colleagues too. Later I lost him but I remember he told his name Aravind...."I was shocked to listen the name Aravind."Is he that Aravind whom I met ? If not who is he ?" I asked myself."God...." a small inner voice whispered in a low tone.[ The usage of word "God" was misused and loosing it's importance day-by-day.Generally, we use the word "God " as an answer for every question whose answer is still a mystery like "only god must know..." So try to know the facts behind the god and sacred texts not behind religion, which is just a man made and adopted system. Finally ,don't misuse the word "GOD ".]

Myths are some historical fictional stories which provide us apparently unreal though unexplored assumptions. They provide us many truths but mostly they are overshadowed by its unreal fantasies. So we never try to understand the inner meaning of the Mythology blaming its misleading approach to Knowledge and Truth. It first influence an individual by its seductive charm and gradually to the group which he belongs and becomes part of religion. Myths often contribute heavily to our perceptions of how the world works. We may not see the incidents what is written in Mythology but always felt a great mysterious presence of reality in those divine or demonic deeds as in our lives. Myths emphasize the invisible, yet they also hint that mythic reality strongly influences everyday human life.Myth appears itself as simple stories but corresponds with our life, psychology, moral codes, Philosophy and Truth. They reveal the power of love, the violence of men, the mystery of death, relations between God and Human, and give us the answers of many Great questions but Different myth tackles these great questions in very distinctive ways.In case of analyzing Myth, we need to have courage to question belief and reality. Now the question comes how belief works? In reality mostly belief doesn’t base on Logic but some authoritative advice which people believe unconsciously, in other way Fact is provable. You dont need any faith to believe a fact. But the dynamic process of telling, listening, and reflection that continually shapes and reshapes people's beliefs about the unseen powers and forces at work in their daily lives.Mythic traditions are not simply a thing of the past but present as well . The primary sources assigned for this course, moreover, offer a glimpse of other culture's ancient stories as they not only survive, but also transform and grow in the modern period. Over thousand years ago myth was the only way to give people knowledge about the world and life but it has changed its presentation through time. That we need to understand .in modern age we discovered science to reveal the knowledge of physical things on earth. Myth did same thousand years ago. The truth is one but shown in different way.We sometime think that reality is only based on the subject we believe. And what all people say are wrong. But reality is too complex to be grasped by means of any one method of analysis. Reality is the combination of many truths concurrently. For them, stories about mythic worlds were in an important sense more real than accounts of observable facts. Yet they also pointed out hidden connections between invisible realities and the ordinary people, places, things and events that they and their audiences daily experienced. But only true visionaries can see that invisible reality exist beyond it. Myth can instruct by going beyond literal truth. Mythic storytelling also continues to evolve in efforts to explore the spiritual dimension often hidden by ordinary perception. Myth gives us many times false massages but only to disguise the truth. Some Christians may say that, it is the Post modern Dilemma where we question Eternal being. But I believe we have right to question as we have freedom to have free will.Such stories often convey important moral lessons, and bring to light important yet otherwise abstract psychological issues and moral dilemmas. The superhero and fantasy science fiction stories enjoyed by older children as well as adults explore more complex notions such as destiny and the vastness of time, highlighting the subtleties of trying to do the right thing in a complex world. Even Legends in Mythology do usually tell of such people interacting with unseen beings forces; the heroes in legends thus often serve as models for the way anyone might themselves interact with the mysterious aspects of their daily life experience. It symbolically depicts what is invisible to most.which only visionaries can see.
The Illusion of being ImmortalMany people wish to be gifted with immortality and imagine how our life would be living that way, a way to live forever beyond time, beyond our chances to experience again and again, to be with our senses and memory that we value most.but we forget we are meant to be dead.Yes,death is not a curse but is a gift, it is the reason for which we search for enjoyment and peace as we know we have very limited time on earth. It is the truth that breaks the illusion of eternal being, which would be very boring and monotonous.the First thing is what is the reason to be born? I think to feel the living soul, to find the purpose of life and Death provides the certainty of it.We live in our own illusion, the mind is a universe and we make a world in it, give it life but never thought of death, and there comes the eternal presence of Death, that makes a life complete as a renowned poet Allen Ginsberg says "Find share and Lose Lest we die unbloomed".In Life there should be something for which you can never be satisfied and may be thats the reason we are made that way,we never become satisfied whatever we get,We always strive for more and more.May be today Lifespan seems too less, as there are many things to do. I appreciate people's view, the world has become too hard to live, people are tired of fighting, and at some point when people lose ability to fight as the same they loose the ability to enjoy physically the way they did in their youth, even you stay youthful forever your mind will be old because it has seen so much of this world, corruption ,injustice, violence and all negative things. But we can't fix the world now, it is in its own way to be destroyed. But whatever the reason is, immortality is much to ask from Life.it will lead you nowhere, you will feel you are stuck in a time loop, neither you die nor live.Because living is not about how long you live, it's about how much you live in the subjective reality, the time you live with mindfulness, perceiving the beauty of your surroundings, every sound you here, every small things you see, everything you feel, because it's our vision what gives us the highest sense of perception either through ingenuity or with curious childlike ignorant mind .may be the death is the end of our physical body but the idea of Death gives us life.there are many Great things done in the name of love, for which we feel more alive Even the perception of death doesn't matter. So death is a perspective concept So as the immortality. And Even sometime Death becomes the only solution of Unknown Mysteries because the true nature of Life is Mystery and that is the reason you can't predict it.Death is also part of fantasy cause it's not possible to feel death when you are full of life. Its more connected to pleasure as people feel seeing cruelty, torture, death.Everything should have a limit.see future is uncertain so it is possible to feel immortality at a point of certain time, then feel what will be the future life?I feel that when I will get utmost peace and love from life I will ask for death because I will always fear the uncertain future and to make the present Happyness for eternity I need to die with it,Death gives us a fixed identify after life otherwise life would be ever changing and at some point we will fear Change.
The new year is all around and everyone is busy filling his or her journals and brainstorming with his or her goals and resolutions. There are infinite dimensions in which you can think about life and there are myriads of aspects in which you can define your goals and achievements. This 2019, I want to share a story that my grandmother has once read to me (a bit inclined to self-care goal). The story begins ...Once upon a time, there used to exist a village where people were not having access to the mirror. So, everyone can see other person but they don't exactly know how they themselves look?. Besides this, they were so much happy with their life that they never inquired about their appearance. There was a common assumption that we all are from the same species so we all are some versions of each other. There was a mutual understanding between self-ego and social ego.One dark night, a monk was crossing the village. Because of pitch dark night, he was not able to identify the hurdles in his path and after walking a while he felt some pricking pain in his foot. He understood that it might be some thorns, but to his bad omen, his foot started bleeding badly. Holding his foot with hands, he sat down under a tree as the pain was unbearable. After a while, he saw someone approaching him but as per the silhouette, it was a woman wearing all black robe from top to bottom. She had a first aid box in her hands. She sat down beside him and started dressing his wounds. The monk started observing her as if he wanted to know who is she? She had covered her whole body and face with black cloth except her eyes. He saw her eyes, it was magical full of positive energy and good vibes. But, the monk could see some scars in her eyes, some hidden scars. She did the dressing with full dedication and devotion, her work was full of compassion. The monk paid his gratitude for the service and blessed her with prosperity and happiness. Just out of curiosity he asked her-"Why have your covered yourself in a black robe from top to bottom?"She said - "Because I am ugly?"Monk - "How do you know? Who told you?"She - "Because I saw myself in the mirror."Monk - "But I have heard that people of this village don't have access to the mirror and that's the mystery which bridges their self-ego to the social ego. In fact, I have heard that the shadow of inferiority complex has not curbed anyone in this village."She - "Yes! that is true. We respect each other and we believe that all of us are equally beautiful. But one day when I went to another village, I couldn't resist myself from looking in the mirror. And then I discovered how ugly am I."After hearing this, the monk smiled and told her - " Please meet me tomorrow at the nearby sea bank. I have to give you some rewards for your help."The next day, she went to the sea bank, again in the same black robe. She could easily identify the monk sitting at the bank, facing towards the sea. As she walked near, the monk asked her to sit down beside him. Both of them sat for a moment in silence, just facing towards the sea and watching waves. When she couldn't suppress her inquisitiveness more, she asked him -"Why did you call me here?"Without answering her question, he asked her - "How do you define beauty?"She answered - "Something that soothes our eyes. Something that looks attractive and can grab our attention.""Okay! Could you see the waves in the sea?"She thought what rubbish is he talking, the waves are quite obvious in the sea.She answered - "Yes"Monk - "What all kinds of waves are there in the sea?"She - "Different kinds with different forms, some are small and some are big. some big waves are eating up the small waves to become bigger."Monk - "Aren't these beautiful waves soothing your eyes?"She - "Yes true! It is very calm and it looks beautiful. Even the sound of waves is soothing to my ears."Monk - "Yeah you are right. But what happens on the day of high tides?"She - "Waves become stronger and scary. Some time they flood the nearby area of our village."Monk - "Ohh! that is a bit scary and not good."She - "Not exactly bad. These waves carry good fertile soil which they leave for us."Monk -"Okays that's good! Now tell me what are these waves made up of?"She - "Water"Monk - "True. Waves are just patterns made up of water. These patterns keep on changing with time. Sometimes they are beautiful and sometimes they are scary. Change is the eternal law of nature, the law of impermanence. This law is applicable to our life too. Our body, our senses, everything keeps on changing with time. And this change in itself is their beauty. You cannot define something beautiful which keeps on changing or which is not permanent. I believe that the water is beautiful and hence its all formation or patterns including big and small waves are actually beautiful. You have to broaden your vision before classifying anything on the basis of their temporary appearance. Beauty is the quality that remains forever like the beauty of water. If you keep on looking yourself every single day then you will identify the change in your appearance and with time you will fall in love with this change. Appearance varies with time but there are certain qualities which remain with us forever and those are the qualities which define the beauty of each one of us. Observe yourself and you will find out how blessed and beautiful you are. Accept it, you are the most beautiful and unique person."The monk left and she sat there as it is. This huge revelation was hard to handle and she got completely numb. And the story ends...I believe its true! each one of us is equally beautiful and unique. And this year promise me, that you will celebrate your uniqueness and beauty.
Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.Hi, my name is Naman Chatterjee. I have recently turned 13 and am moving to 8th grade. I have been born and brought up in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. I started my schooling and continue to be at Shikshantar – a place where I can be ‘me’.From my early days, I have been fascinated by all kinds of cars – that’s what even my teachers from idiscoveri preschool remember about me. As I am growing up, this has become a passion – I am an avid fan of all kinds of car racing – F1, Formula E, Moto GP etc. I enjoy a variety of music and sports - from the age of 6, I started learning tennis & piano and they have gradually become an important part of my routine. I have fun playing games on the Xbox and PS4. And…as expected, I can remain engrossed in books for hours!!! How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? My parents always encouraged me to spend time with books. I remember listening to a wide variety of amusing stories in Hindi, English and Bengali from my parents and grandparents. This started me on my journey with books and this bond has got stronger day by day. At school, I enjoyed reading (or initially observing the pictures) the books from the small book stacks in the classroom. A few years ago, I and my friends became Tintin fans – we used to exchange the comics and read them together. We still do that with books we are currently interested in. During summer holidays, I have spent my time relaxing with the collection of my mother’s old books (& Archies comics!!!) at my Nani’s house. My interest in literature spans a vast range and I enjoy characters like Famous Five, Geronimo Stilton, Shonku & Feluda, Harry Potter etc. I have been entertained by the works of many authors - Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, Herge, Ruskin Bond, Satyajit Ray, Agatha Christie. Mystery & adventure is the genre that I love. At school, we were always encouraged to express our thoughts and feelings on paper – first through art and then through writing. Starting with a few lines in my own spellings, I began writing short pieces based on the themes given in class. I got a lot of encouragement from my teachers and parents and over time, my writing skills evolved to poems and short stories based on prompts or on areas of my interest. Guided by my English teacher, my mother approached Children’s World magazine and my work was well appreciated by the editor. When my first poem got published, it further boosted my confidence and motivated me to write better . I was selected for a workshop ‘ Kissa-O-Kalam’ at Sahitya Akademi in May 2017 where I got to learn about different writing techniques from the mentors and hear interesting ideas of my companions. I have also participated in a number of creative writing competitions including Katha Utsav(2015), Scholastic Writing Awards(2016), Hindu Young World Club contests etc. These experiences have brought in new perspectives and enhanced my writing. What is your view about the present-day literary work?Modern day adventure stories excite me. I have read the series of Percy Jackson, Alex Rider and Time Riders. I find these to be thrilling with fast action and quick changes of scenarios – the twists and turns take the story to unexpected endings. Moreover, these adventures always involve some novel type of technological features which makes it more interesting. I find it difficult to put down the book till I have reached the end –you want to finish it as fast as you can to know the climax. Please tell us something about your literary work.I enjoy writing short stories and poems in English. I generally pick up abstract topics and use my imagination to spin stories around them. For this, I draw upon my experiences of travel, stories that I read, games that I play and what I observe around me.Some of my works include:Short stories - Autobiography of a Pair of Socks, A Chance Encounter with Hanumanji, Desert Escapade Poems – The Paper Boat, Fire n Ice, Falcon, Sounds of Silence I have also written few poems and short stories in Hindi – बचपन, जंगल बचाव, मन करताहै What was your first literary work and how was it published? My first literary work was an English poem called ‘Sounds of Silence’ which was published in the ‘Children’s World’ magazine on its 50th anniversary in April 2017. It is a monthly magazine brought out by the Children Book Trust, Delhi and is one of the oldest magazines for children.Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world? I am keen to continue writing short stories and hope to sharpen my writing skills in the future. One of the ways I plan to do this is by pursuing my passion for reading. This will help me to get more ideas and to create extraordinary stories. What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets? Online platforms help amateur writers to share their works and read contributions from others. This can be enhanced by holding regular events and workshops. Emerging writers get to interact among themselves, appreciate other’s style of writing and learn from each other. Inviting a well known poet or author to share their thoughts will help young writers to get new ideas and develop their writing skills. What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers?I always believe in the motto “Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.” How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror?Story mirror was convenient to access. The features of a theme picture and introduction helps to arouse curiosity and makes the piece inviting for readers. It is encouraging to know that others are enjoying your writings and read their interesting comments. Would you like to say something about StoryMirror?StoryMirror is a great initiative to bring together young writers and create a community for sharing , learning and developing literary skills. I wish them all the best. Here is the link to read my content https://storymirror.com/profile/62vsms3s/naman-chatterjee/stories

Details are so much realistic that one feel being present there.
Rhythmic Response - In Gita Verse 1.16-18 King Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Kuntī, blew his conch shell, the Ananta-vijaya, and Nakula and Sahadeva blew the Sughoṣa and Maṇipuṣpaka. That great archer the King of Kāśī, the great fighter Śikhaṇḍī, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, Virāṭa, the unconquerable Sātyaki, Drupada, the sons of Draupadī, and others, O King, such as the mighty-armed son of Subhadrā, all blew their respective conch shells. One by one everyone blew their respective instruments. By blowing one after the other in rhythm. All of them conveyed their individual strength as united. When individual strength is united it gets multiplied. It’s not simple mathematics like 2x2=4. It will be 2x2=N times. Means countless. In the unity there is no ego. How? When we are united we are ready to be replaced by anyone. None is in competition with anyone. But everyone clarity regarding their goal and role. Like in a movie when the hero is playing his role the villain will not come in between, when the villain is needed on the screen hero will not be in the forefront. Unity simply means when my role is there I will put my effort in total. Once my role is over I will move out.Enthusiasm and Participation is foundation of unity.Enthusiasm - means like child. And when I say be like a child I mean always remain learning, never become knowledgeable. Go on learning; learning is totally different. Knowledge is a dead phenomenon, learning is an live and dynamic process. And the learner has to remember this: he cannot function from the stand of knowledge.Have you ever watched and noticed it? little children learn so fast. If a child lives in a multilingual atmosphere he learns all the languages. He learns the language that the mother speaks, the father speaks, the neighbors speak - he may learn three, four, five languages very easily, without any problem. Once you have learned a language then it becomes very difficult to learn another language because now you start functioning from the standpoint of knowledgeability. So first, when I say be like a child I mean be total. The second thing is remain a learner, function from the state of not-knowing. That’s what innocence is: to function from not-knowing is innocence. The third thing, and the last: a child has a natural quality of trust, otherwise he cannot survive. When the child is born he trusts the mother, trusts the milk, trusts that the milk will be nourishing him, trusts that everything is okay. His trust is absolute, there is no doubt about anything. He’s not afraid of anything. His trust is so much that the mother is afraid because the child can go and start playing with a snake. His trust is so much that a child can go and poke his hand into the fire. His trust is so much; he knows no fear, he knows no doubting. That is the third quality.Participation - once we become learner, child like, as individual then comes participation. We can be participants only by working unitedly. Unless we learn how we can work in unity we will not be able to learn how to participate in our life. Once we learn how to work together as team, the next step you will learn how to work together with Universe or Existence. So that we can create OURSELVES.God is the creator and the only prayer is to be creative, because it is only through creativity that you participate in God; there is no other way to participate. God has not to be thought about, you have to participate in some way. You cannot be an observer, you can only be a participant; only then will you taste the mystery of it. Creating a painting is nothing, creating a poem is nothing, creating music is nothing compared to creating YOURSELF, creating your consciousness, creating your very being.Participation with Universe:Zen is participation. Participate in the night leaving, participate in the evening coming, participate in the stars and participate in the clouds; make participation your lifestyle and the whole existence becomes such a joy, such an ecstasy. You could not have dreamed of a better universe.Everyone has an opportunity to participate with others, to make our contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than each of us could manage alone. Our participation will not only nourish us, but will also contribute something precious to the whole.Pandava by their rhythmic response to Kaurava conveyed that we are united. Our strength is unity and participation. We can change our strategy any time, as our team know that as per the demand of the circumstances who need to be up front and will be there. Person who is in the front at that moment will have the backing and support of everyone.
Be Receptive - In Gita Verse 1.40 When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Kṛṣṇa, the women of the family become polluted, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vṛṣṇi, comes unwanted progeny. In this verse Arjuna says that when irreligion is prominent in the family, the women of the family become polluted, and from the degradation of womanhood. By womanhood he means receiptivity. To seek truth one need to be receptive. To be religious means receptivity.Truth cannot be sought - one can simply be receptive, that´s all. One can open the doors and wait. One can say only this much, “If the divine guest comes, you will be received, welcomed. I don´t know who you are, and I don´t know your address and I cannot even send an invitation. But whosoever you are, and whomsoever it concerns, if you come, my doors will be open - you will not find them closed.” This is all that a seeker can do. And it is all that is needed to be done. More than that is not possible and is not needed. So let this posture be your deep attitude. One has to become receptive. The search for truth is not a male search. It is a feminine search - just like feminine energy - receptive. Not like a male - aggressive.Meditativeness is simply a deep receptivity, a readiness, an open door.Right now Arjuna is disappointed as he is not able to come to his consciousness.Don’t get discouraged by unconsciousness and errors. Get up again, have another try. It is like groping in the dark. But the door is there, so if you go on groping enough, you will stumble upon the door. That’s why religion can never become a science - never! It will always remain a groping. At the most it can be an art and that to so subtle that it cannot be taught. So go on groping. One day it happens. How it happens, why it happens, remains a mystery. In fact nobody has ever been able to exactly say how it happens. If somebody can say how it happens, a science can be created. Then you know the technique. Then you can do a certain act, and it happens. It has happened millions of times, but there is no causality in it, so you cannot determine how it happens. It can be caused. Each time it happens it happens uniquely! Each time it happens it happens in such a new way that it has never happened before like that. And it will not happen again like that. Because each individual is so different, so unique, so individual, that the happening is going to be different. Don’t start longing for it. Allow it to happen - don’t desire it. In desire you become active, aggressive. in allowing you simply wait, in deep receptivity. Waiting for the guest, standing by your door.. Nothing can be done! When the guest will come, he will come! You be ready to receive, that’s all.Not desiring creates receptivity. Desiring makes you aggressive. Desire makes you active, non-desire makes you inactive - that’s what Lao Tzu says by wu-wei, action by inaction, doing things by not doing them.Don’t desire - and it happens. Desire - and you have missed. Don’t prefer, and it is there. Seek - and you go infinitely seeking, and you never attain it.Deep receptivity. This is the mechanism of desire: if you desire, your whole energy becomes active, aggressive - it moves, it becomes male. If you don’t desire, the same energy becomes receptivity, it does not move out, it does not go anywhere, it simply waits, awaits deeply, it becomes feminine. Hence the insistence of Lao Tzu on feminine energy. The world is the manifestation of male energy. And enlightenment, the other world, the other shore, is the manifestation of feminine energy. Why Arjuna can see that the feminine energy will be polluted. As he is in the middle of the war where male energy is active and visible. Everyone of them has become aggressive and ready to fight so feminine energy is not visible. Also in my Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.39 blog, I wrote that right now due to unconsciousness Arjuna is able to see only half the truth. Always remember that half truth is fear oriented. In his fear he thinks that this is permanent, not going to change. But in universe only one thing is permanent, that is Change.
