JAIPUR JAUNTS-1
 Shruthi Rao
 20 February 2018

Epitome of art, architecture and culture. They are rightly the essence of Jaipur, the pink city. Place so vibrant and colorful can be synonymized as “Gateway to Royal Rajasthan”. Art and Architecture is so vastly reflected in the city that once visited, it’s almost impossible to control the urge to visit other parts of the state.Food and delicacies of this region are something not to ignore either. Rich in spices, flavours and desi Ghee are truly the royal ingredients of a Rajasthani meal. This is the exact reason a clique of girls got lost on the streets of Jaipur looking for that perfect Gewarh,Pyaz ke Samose and Dal bati churma; until they could satisfy their appetites. One of the girls wanted to capture the moments and perceptions, while others wanted to be captured in the moments. While the other girls wanted to take back goodies and merchandises as memorabilia, this girl wanted to take back the memories, trapped in the right words.Again, one among them, wanted to live in the aroma and vibes of the place herself, while others wanted to just experience them temporarily. There was something beautiful about feeling on vacation and at home all at once, that’s what made her pen this down.Four girls landed in the city, early in the morning, unaware of even the places to halt. But were no slow-paced in kick starting the day, all dressed to perfection and making bold statements. “Yes, they believed in travelling in class”. It didn’t matter how their itinerary was, but their attires were sure as hell ‘well planned’. It included colors and vibrancies as a base, two days of modernity with some desi touch, while one day restricted to contemporarily basic ethnic outfits!!Itinerary was something like this, first day included all the outskirts, majorly forts of Jaipur. Second day an excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar. Last day included the local inner-city sight-seeing. Planned shopping was to be done either at Pushkar or on the last day of trip which went for a toss and they ended up shopping on all three days. After all, they were girls and it was a girls’ trip, Duuuhhh!!!!!!! Let me clarify – not being a contra feminist here.Experience differ from person to person and so does the stories of travel, even if it’s of the same place or of multiple times. Amer fort (as pronounced), which is written as Amber fort,is a delight to ones’ senses. Well planned, better maintained and least destroyed of all the forts deserves to be called the best of them all. A person can typically spend minimum of one to one and a half hour within the fort. Jaigarh holds world’s largest cannon displayed for public. The walls of Jaigarh and Nahargarh forts are infamously called Great wall of India similar to that of China’s. The view from above and amidst those walls are surely worth a great deal of calorie burn. Not to miss a couple of stops where a glimpse of Jalmahal can be spotted in all its glory,on the driveway to Nahargarh. One can even have some chai and coffee from the local vendors, while chilling at these viewpoints.Pushkar, girls fell for it the moment they entered the streets. Call them vibes, spirit or energy, there was something totally positive. People tend to get drawn towards the hippie culture and ambience the town has. Hosting its tourists with the world’s one and only Bramha temple, charm of the town lies on the banks of serene and sacred lake of Pushkar. The roads of Ajmer to Pushkar in between the aravalli ranges, a sunset on the countryside as a back drop to the camel safari, all adds on to the drive factor. A stay here wouldn’t harm your pockets provided the kind of vacation being looked forward to is of chilling and relaxation as a main purpose. Add on: There is a lot to shop at this place, bargaining is the key!Ajmer Shariff Dargah is a place of religious significance, where faith of believers can be seen at its highest. One thing to be kept in mind is not to visit the place during the times of prayer, especially on the days of Jumma. Tourists might end up waiting for hours together just to enter the center sanctum. Also, the inner most sanctum is the hardest to get in and out of, it is advisable to be cautious of your belongings and special attention required for kids. The most economical and convenient way of travel around Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar back and forth is by local buses .It's good to keep a track of time and manage the day accordingly. There are frequent buses plying around, reaching the destination within the span of 2.5 hours. However, if there are kids and people with ailments and ageing, it's advisable to hire a cab on fair prices.Final day, girls headed towards city the local way. The most effective way of reaching the local sights is by a rick or a cab. All the major destinations inside city for example City palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar are all within the walkable distance from one another. These structures of Hawa Mahal and city palace are of more recent times as compared to those forts on the outskirts. Peek-a-Boo through those colorful windows is how Hawa Mahal can be described. City palace is in all its splendor and glory of roughness. It is enclosed with Musuems, Art galleries, Durbar halls etc. which exhibit the objects used by the then royal family. Only place of interest in Jantar Mantar for girls was of structures containing zodiac signs, along with which they could get photographed. People with special interest in science and astronomical knowledge would enjoy this more than laymen. Otherwise, it is still a good sight to visit as a place from history, especially with the world's biggest sundial as a main attraction.Girls felt teleported to the era of maharaja, these structures gave them a feel of life within them. How they wished, they could go back in time and visit when these places were inhabited!!P.S. My HApPyy Moments:1.Spotting Colorfully Painted Elephants on the streets.2.Watching ladies cooking roti on the lanes of Pushkar.3.Getting a glimpse of civilization and mountains merging from Nahargarh.4.Buying a palazzo with elephant prints on them Yesss… elephant in it’s any form is LOVE!!! HAppy Vacations and don’t forget to check the next blog“Background Check, Jaipur Jaunts-2”, containing history of the places mentioned here in detail.

Are you chasing your goals or merely its means?
 Manoj Arora
 16 March 2018

Have we got mixed up with our goals and the means to achieve those goals? Most of us have. Wake up before time runs out !...Unhappy and frustrated with recent exam results at school, my elder one was desperately looking forward to something that could soothe her mind. It is not only about kids and exams, it could be you and your career, you and your business, your life, your relations, your passion. Whatever be it, in most cases we seemed to have mixed up with our life's goals and the means to achieve those goals. Don't believe me? Look out for yourself."Dad, now don’t tell me that results do not matter. I know that efforts are more important. But still I am not feeling good...", said a disappointed Arushi."Well, the fact is that results do matter. However, they are not in our control. Our efforts also matter. The beauty of focusing on the efforts is that efforts are always in our control. In any case, let me share with you a story of one of my friends in the United States - that should probably make you feel better...""William Richards was one of my colleagues when we were in the USA. We call him Bill. And you know people there - they are so fond of taking long breaks from the mundane job, and going on for adventures like biking, hiking, boating, flying, and what not.""Ah! Those US days...", remarked Arushi with a glee in her eyes."Yeah...so, this guy – Bill, took a three-week vacation after we signed a new contract with the client. All of us had worked very hard for this, and we all deserved a break. Bill decided to walk up the mountains.""Ok...Is it around the same time we went to Disney World?", inquired Arushi."Yes, exactly, we also took that 3-week break..OK, so when Bill was back after 3 weeks,he explained me about an incident that was strangely disturbing for him.""What was that?""Bill told me that during one of the days when he was climbing one of the toughest peaks. That day was particularly rough for him. He had been climbing since last 6 hours and it was late in the afternoon already. He was literally sweating in the snow, his legs were paining, his shoulders were aching...He was finding it really tough. But of course, he did not have a choice at that time. While all that was happening, he heard a noise of a helicopter quite close to him. When the sound of the whirling helicopter blades increased further, he just looked up and was amazed to see what he saw.""What was there?""It was one of his friends and his neighbor Ronnie on the helicopter...Ronnie was a rich man, also fond of mountains.""Ah ok..""They waived at each other, and then Ronnie shouted that he was going to the M4 peak...Bill said he was too...""OK..."Ronnie then waived Bill to come over to the helicopter and he offered to throw the ladder down to pick him up. Bill was confused whether he should take this offer."C’mon Bill. We have the same goal. We can use his helicopter as a means to achieve this goal faster. What are you thinking? I started just 15 min back and we will be there at the M4 peak in next 5 minutes.""Then, did Bill accept his friends offer?""No, Bill did not. And whether Bill accepted the offer or not is irrelevant. The strange part was this. At that moment, Bill said that he definitely felt very frustrated, sad and hopeless.""That’s obvious Dad...Bill has been climbing for hours together and was in pain. His friend did all that in 15 minutes - just because his friend could afford to rent a helicopter.""It is not obvious my child. It is the core issue.”“Issue, what issue?”“Here is what the issue us. If Bill felt sad seeing his friend go past him and reach the peak in no time with least effort, then I am sorry to say that Bill has got completely messed up with his goals and the means to achieve the goal.""How?""OK. what do you think was Bill’s goal?""To reach the mountaintop.""Again, we always get it wrong here. That is the issue. We get so messed up. Think again why did he take the vacation? At that point when Ronnie was waving at him, Bill thought that reaching the top is the goal and climbing are the means to achieve the goal, while actually, it is exactly the reverse. Think. The climb is the goal and the mountaintop is the means that help him achieve his goal. Did he not take a break to enjoy a few days 'climbing'? The objective was always to climb and enjoy the climb. Now, having said that, remember that the mountaintop is also important, but just as a means. If there was no top, then there would be no climb.""Hmmm....quite interesting.""If he was clear about the goal (climbing), would he be frustrated to see his friend reaching the top faster?""Perhaps, no !""Definitely no. Who reaches the top faster and with how much effort - all this would cease to matter if the goal is to climb. It is just how we look at things. In fact, he should be satisfied that he is already achieving his goal of climbing - which cannot be accomplished in any way via a helicopter.""Interesting Dad....""And now tell me what is your goal when you study - to learn new things and acquire knowledge or to score marks?"Arushi went in thinking mode. It is this self-introspection only that was going to set her perspective right. I let her take her time. After some time, I had to trigger it.."So, let me make it absolutely clear to you. Marks are not the goal at all. Marks are just a means - that help you focus on your main goal - which is to acquire more knowledge, and become wiser. While striving to achieve more marks, your goal is to become knowledgeable and wise – and not the other way round. Let there be no doubt about this. Do not mess up your childhood days in this confusion. Do not do the same mistake that Bill did." "Wow, this does give me a different perspective. But that is not how our teachers and classmates think. They look highly on us only when we get good marks.""Yeah, that is how it is always going to stay - perhaps. They have messed up their lives, and we cannot go and correct everyone around us. It is not feasible. But my advise to you would be not to just follow the herd. The entire herd may be headed to hell."“I get that Dad…I definitely feel better..”Arushi got it. I got it a few years back. Some of you may get it with this post. Some will never get it. Doesn't matter. The end is the same for everyone. But hold....reaching the end of our life is not our goal. Reaching the end is just a means - a reminder - for us to improve, become better, possess more mental strength, exhibit more happiness, elevate someone's life - and these are our goals. Do not get messed up between the goal and the means. On a vacation trip remember that the goal is not to reach the destination, but to enjoy the in-between moments - waiting at the airport, the cab ride with family, the meal at the hotel, the dance party, the scuba dive, the isolated hour at the beach. In a job or a business, the goal is not to reach the next level - but to impact as many people, experience awesome time and relations on the journey. "You always had a goal of financial freedom....", remarked one of my readers."The goal was never to be financially free, Freedom is only a means to reach our goals - of doing what we love doing – writing, planting trees, spending time with children and spouse, taking care of parents, meeting friends - and having an enjoyable life.", I responded.CheersManoj AroraOfficial Website | My Mission

Does God realy exist on mountain Kailash?

Mount Kailash,a holy mountain not only for we hindus but for most of the religion like buddhist and jains are now under certain controversies for its location, sudden climate change and unsuccesssful attempts to reach to the peak of the mountain by many mountaineers who give one of the strangest expalanation for not accomplishing their mission to reach to its peak. So here we will go through the detailed information about our sacred mountain Kailash.so first of all we will see its religious significance that what this mountain mean for different religions like for we hindus it is the abode of the god of gods Mahadev also known as Shiva, Shankar and a thousands of names through which we can refer him to.So let's begin with JainismIn this religion mount Kailash is also known by the name Mount Meru. the believers of Jainism religion say that the first Jain Tirthankara,Rishabhanatha attained Moksha(liberation) on the mount Ashtapada, the mountain which is  just next to the mount kailash.HinduismAs already told above in hinduism the Mountain  Kailash is belived to be the abode of our beloved lord shiva, the adiyogi, the anadiyogi. Here he live along with his wife accompanied by two childrens i.e Kartika and Ganesh.According to charles Allen, a British freelance writer and a popular historian, one description in the Vishnu Purana  states that its four faces are made of Crystals which are:- ruby, gold and lapis lazuli. Mount Kailash is  also declared as the  pillar of the world and is located at the heart of six mountain ranges representing a lotus.Buddism Like Jainism, in  buddhist text too it is refered by the name of Mountain Meru. and Just like we  hindus, it is a major piligramage site for Buddhist too. Vajrayana (various Buddhist tradition for tantra and mantra) buddhists  believes that mount kailash is the abode of Buddha Cakrasamvara(also known as Demchok) who represents supreme bliss. BonBon, a religion native to Tibet, says that the entire mystical region and Kailash,  to which they refered to as the  "nine-story Swastika Mountain", is the  Axis Mundi, Tagzig olmo Lung Ring. Now since we are over about the beliefs of different reiligion about mount Kailash we should now go to the facts about this mysterious mountain and learn whether the  god is realy there on the mountain?and whether he  is the one who is preventing these mountainneers from climbing this sacred mountain or abode of his.So, here you go:-1. Mount everest, the highest peak in the world has an altitude of 8848m while mount Kailash has an altitude of just 6638m.The mysteroiuness lies in the fact that till now around 4000 peoples have climbed mountain Everest but not a single being has been able to reach the peak of mount Kailash.2. A pact was made among climbers to not to scale those mountains which were considred holy by any religion and mount kailash is not only considred sacred by only one  religion but four. well, some were not able to agree by this pact and finally  the british climbers Huge Ruttledge and Lt col Wilson tried their hands But mysteroiusly  ran out of time and poor climbers! have to return with bare hands.3. Many adventurers and climbers have claimed the sudden change in  weather conditons there. and it has been observed that nails and hairs grow faster than usual. Truly god has some presence there otherwise it wouldn't have been possible for anyone to stop those passionate adventuorers and climbers from achieving their feet.Man has become so technologically strong these days that it can unleash any mystery of nature but we are humans, the creation of god and our all powers and creations are absolute to zero in front of god.that is our limit and we have to admit it anyway. In this context once Reinhold Messner, who condemned the Spanish plans for climbing the sacred mountain, saidIf we conquer this mountain, then we conquer something in people's souls. So, what do you think guys. Is lord shiva still residing there?well i kept my opinion now its your turn. comment below to let me know what you feel.#smblogcontest

Ganesha- Our all Time favorite
 Pinal Chauhan
 6 April 2018

Ganesha – the all time favoriteLord Ganesha, one of the most famous and favorite among all especially the kids. Do we really know about him? He's just famous as the elephant headedGod with a big belly who is usually found playing around everywhere with hisbest friend the Mouse and eating his favorite food Modak. There are someincidents through which Ganesha proved himself one among the others.Goddess Parvati, wife of Lord Shiva was supposed to go for bath and she wasalone as Shiva was busy meditating on the mountains. She wanted someone toguard her door when she goes and it was only Nandi (Shiva's bull) who could doit. She told Nandi to guard the door and let no one enter till she asks him. Nandidid accept her orders, but he being loyal to Shiva let's him enter inside with whichParvati gets very angry thinking of no one being loyal to her, takes off herturmeric paste applied on her body and makes an idol of a boy and then puts lifeto him and names him Ganesha and declares him to be her own son who wouldbe loyal to her always. Every time she wished to bathe she instructed Ganeshato guard her door and not let anyone enter. One day when he was guarding the door, Shiva happened to come and justrushed inside, but at his surprise, he found a strange boy guarding the door andstopping him to enter in. On asking him who he was and why was he stoppinghim to enter his own house, Ganesha introduces him to be Parvati's son andinforms him, thus, as per her orders he would not allow him to enter. Shiva, furiously warns him to let him go or else he would have to battle with him.Ganesha denies to let him enter and so Shiva asks his army to attack him, butGanesha very bravely rebelled them. Shiva had realized that he was not anordinary boy and thus decided to himself fight with Ganesha and with his divinefury his trishul poking his head cut on the ground and killed him instantly. When Parvati came out after her bath and saw Ganesha lying down, ran towardshim and had found herself extremely hurt and insulted that, she wanted todestroy the whole creation. But, Brahma, being the creator appeared suddenly atthe spot to know what had happened and pleaded her to take back her words. She furiously denied to change her decisions and narrated them the whole case.Shiva apologized for his mistake and tried to keep her cool and decided to getthe head of any first living being they find and would place it on Ganesha's head. So, he ordered Brahma to move towards the north direction and get any head hefinds. In a short time Brahma returns back with a strong big head of an elephantand hands it over to Shiva. Looking at that Parvati was very annoyed thinking- “aboy with an elephant head” and so denied to accept it. But, Shiva explained herthat though he would be an elephant headed, he would not be an ordinary boy,but would be worshiped before all the other Gods. He places the head on thebody and gives him life and declares him to be his own elder son and named himGanapati (leader of the beings)As time passed, Ganesha started growing and with many such incidentsthere was one of the most famous incidents when Ganesha and his youngerbrother Karthik were discriminated and and were tested who was wiser amongthe both. The Devas had insisted to test their qualities and intelligence and so allof them decided to go to Brahma being the creator of the universe would cleartheir doubt. On asking him, he too was speechless that who wiser among theboth. So he decided to send his mischievous son Narada to clear the doubt.Narada, who was always prompt with his pranks had a wonderful plan to testthem so he reached to the divine couple Shiva and Parvati with a magical fruitand insisted them to give it to the one whom they liked the most. They were bothconfused to whom to give it. At the same time Ganesha and Karthik reachedthere and insisted to have the fruit. Shiva and Parvati then decided to organize atest between them. They in the center and all the other gods and goddessessurrounded by them. Ganesha and Karthik in the middle were all prepared for thetest. Karthik was confident enough to win it, as he was a fit and fine. Well,Ganesha was stout and with a big belly who could hardly move from his placefast. Ganesha was very cool and was least concerned about what was going tohappen. They then announced that either of them who goes around the wholeworld thrice and reaches back to them first would get the magical fruit. Karthik, very spontaneously moved on with his peacock and Ganesha puzzled, thinkinghow he would manage as he was too stout and his mouse too small to cope upKarthik, so very wisely Ganesha joined his hands and started moving around hisparents Shiva and Parvati three times. Surprisingly, when he was asked for thereason, he replied, “You have created me, and thus, for me you are the world. So, i don't find it worth wasting my time moving anywhere else” and hecompleted his task very efficiently. Not only Shiva and Parvati but, all presentthere, were very impressed by his wise act and gave him the fruit and cheeredfor him. Thus, Ganesha has been given the dominion over all the Ganas, whichmeans all the classes- be it Gods, humans, insects, animals or celestial beings. Itis said that we have to respect and honor all these Ganas and if do not do so, allour actions are known as the form of thievery as they are not sanctioned. So,instead of preaching each Gana differently, in order to receive the blessings, itwas decided to bow the Lord of all, Shri Ganesha (which means God of allGanas) By receiving his grace, we receive it from all and he removes all thepotential obstacles and helps us to succeed.

Aislin Fall, a poet and photographer
 StoryMirror Feed
 18 April 2018

StoryMirror interviewed Aislin Fall, a 25 years old maker of things. Writer. Photographer. Poet. Compulsive traveller. Joy Seeker. Knowledge sponge. PNW born and bred. Here is what she has to say.Q. Tell us about you and your background.I guess I was born and then a lot of things happened and I ended up where I am now.I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I was 16 when I started taking photographs using my dad's camera. I was really obsessed with fashion photography for a long time and was always making my friends crawl into bushes and peer from behind blooming branches and once, I made my best friend carry a small wooden giraffe around her neighbourhood. Eventually, I started photographing models in the suburbs and beautiful landscapes wearing lots of different clothes. Eventually, I stopped photographing models anywhere. These past few years, I've become more drawn to taking pictures that document life as I see it, which usually fits in the category of travel and portrait photography with a tinge of adventure and lifestyle. I still shoot fashion sometimes but it's not my main focus.Photoshop came before photography for me and by the time I picked up my first camera, I was already dabbling in graphic design and photomanipulation. I fell in love with retouching as I transitioned into fashion photography and I worked as a retoucher for a few years. I don't retouch professionally any longer. I like being outside more than I like being on a computer these days.Travel has been the dominant force in my life for the past four years, although I did travel a lot with my family while growing up. I am usually in a state of going somewhere. I haven't had a "home" for more than a few months in a long time.Q. What is your life's greatest passion? What inspires you? I think life itself is my greatest passion—life and all the things it encompasses. The swell and swoon and pull and press of existence. The miracle of existing at all. The hope is to be as fully present and here in this moment. It's strange how something so simple can be so hard sometimes! How easy to get lost in your head—to stop listening to footfall of passing strangers, trills of birds, pulse of water. So my greatest passion is life and from there, everything else flows. I have been a maker ever since I was little—drawing, writing, forming stories—and the process of creating is a huge passion of mine. Nowadays, it takes the shape of photography and poetry. I grew up travelling the west coast of North America with my family and in my 20s, I've spent a lot of time on the road in Canada, USA, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Travelling is definitely one of the other great loves of my life. But they are all so wound together. Photography, writing, travelling—they're all giant pieces of this life of mine. They're how I think and feel and experience. Life gives me inspiration and then I take that and make these things with it.Life inspires me, the world inspires me, relationships inspire me, art inspires me, emotions inspire me, light inspires me. Since I'm mostly photographing my life as I experience it, I just look for moments.Q. Take us through your work. I shoot people and places. I catch real moments and pull them through my perspective until they feel like me. I get my fingerprints on everything. I'm not one of those photographers who doesn't like to modify things (though if you are, that's fine). I see things as malleable. I love Photoshop. My work is me; my work is my life. It's the fleeting instant that I got my fingers around. It's a record of where I've been and what I've felt. The roads I've walked down, the people I've loved, the sunrises I've seen, the glimmers of light that took my breath away. It's travel or landscape or documentary or lifestyle or portrait or whatever.WhistlerUSATessTasmaniaTasmaniaSydneyScotlandPortoMaiteIrelandIrelandIrelandhowthhollandCanadaBeeAusAthensAthensQ. Can you share with us a 'behind-the-scene' memory of yours that has stood out the most? Back in October, at the beginning of this last backpacking trip in Europe, I went to the Acropolis in Athens for sunrise. I watched the twinkle of dawn wash over the ancient streets of the city and observed the quiet blue of night transform into brilliant, shining light. It was one of those times when you look around at your life and feel all the decisions that brought there to that specific, remarkable, precious point. A blink of overwhelming gratitude.During the day, Acropolis is a swarming beehive of human beings. There are so many people. But when the gates first open in the morning—right before the sun rises, it's nearly empty. There were only two or three other people there when I watched the dawn awaken the city. It was so private and personal, witnessing the sun crest over the mountains, pull the shadows long and far over the ruins.Q. Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of?I have been to 25 countries in 25 years, and while that's not a "career" oriented "achievement," it's a personal achievement. I'm immensely proud of this life that I've carved for myself. I have seen so much and it's truly shaped me.Q. What is your life's philosophy?Love and interconnectivity. Be kind and compassionate towards everything—other humans, animals, the planet, yourself. We are all so tied together. Our actions matter.Q. If you could give a message to all the 20 year olds of the world, what would it be?Be patient. Remember that you are not your emotions. Gratitude is the key. Emotions are passing clouds in the sky—they are things that you experience but they are not your identity so don't be consumed by them or think that they're your truth. Patience because all things take time and it's really hard to really know who you are or what you want at 20. It's important to give yourself room to grow and discover and make mistakes. I view the 20s as being a massive opportunity for learning. Training your mind to practice gratitude has the potential to change everything.Q. How do you want to see yourself 5 years from now?Happy and fulfilled, though that's the aim for every single day and not the destination. I'd like to be sustaining an income from my photography and writing, and still engaged in creative projects that excite me. I hope to have more of a "home" in five years but still travelling a lot with at least another ten new countries checked off my list!Check out her website, blog and instagram.

Rat Race of life
 Meenakshii Tripathi
 21 August 2018

The sun had completed its tour for the day, dark mantle sweeping across the sky, strange darkness in city of heart, light of moon filtering in through the gap of curtain and millions of bright stars, thinking a thought ,you know what! At night you can be anybody and no one care who you are!!You can be a Flower which carry a different fragrance, color and beauty for the world. Can be a Wind ,that exist but can't be seen or heard.somethings need to be felt. Can be Sky ,no matter what storms are passing beyond the clouds. It is always blue. Can be  Pet which love unconditionally  without expectation. Can be a Butterfly which  grow, change and find color in .Can be Bird who wants to fly up at the sky wants to touch the high. Can be a Night sky which is important  to appreciate, the light. Can be a tree that full of generosity. Can be a Child  who teach us to be happy for no reason, busy with something, carefree and living life fully. But when step out from imagination,we  are a person of cruel world which has lost it self in self. We are not living we are just surviving. We  don't want to change our life because we are afraid to change. We all are busy in rat race of life. We are comparing our accomplishments, our joys, our challenges, feeling, pain to others .I can be anybody but I don't  concern myself with Rat race!Nature is our origin and the place where all our subtle needs for beauty, mystery, and adventure are met. And when  we feel empty inside and lifeless outside. Nothing seem colorfull then we notice blooming flowers, purple glow in the western horizon ,rain drops,The snow-capped mountains, blue sky, watered lakes,  rainbow ,that makes us  fall in love with Our self.

How about a snowy affair the winters? How about getting lost in mountains and finding yourself? Maybe, somewhere you belong. Somewhere you can find the best views of the Himalayas. Somewhere, you can do self-introspection peacefully in one of the best campsites in India. Trust me the, prettiest. Just imagine the campsites nestled in snow-covered pine trees. Shrouded by pine forests, and snowfall makes the view much more spectacular. Powdery and surreal it is! Sounds like a fairy tale? It doesn't only sound like a fairy tale but the whole views of Kedarkantha trek are like a dreamscape. You will be witnessing the union of the blue horizon with snowy peaks. You will feel liberated, far away from the city chaos. How often you look out of the window and crave from something surreal? How often do you take that fresh chilled breeze inside you? How often your heart wish to spend time with oneself? How often do you feel that you need a break from all the mess? How often your heart longs to express more? How often do you feel the silence? How often do you feel like that you just need to gaze the stars and loosen yourself a bit?Want to be one of the free and liberated soul? Let's go to one of the most beautiful trails. This is the easy one which gives the most kaleidoscopic view of Himalayas. The trails go through forests and hanging rhododendrons. The verdant green forests, a myriad collection of flora and fauna, what a delightful moment it will be to walk on such trail? This trek can also be done by people who don't have any prior trekking experience. And you will witness three most prominent peaks like Swargorohini, Kalanag, and Bandarpoonch. Awe-struck right? You will be literally amazed. The trek starts from Sankri village of Uttrakhand. From Sankri you got to trek for 4-5 hours to reach another base camp of Juda ka Talab ( It's frozen, during winters). walking trails become bit steep as you will continue to gain height.  From Juda ka Talab to kedarkantha basecamp it will take almost 3 hours to reach. Fron Kedarkantha basecamp to the summit is gonna take 6-7 hours. and you will be exposed to the best views.  And the weather is completely unpredictable. But you gotta push yourself a bit hard, to witness the jaw-dropping beauty, which will leave you speechless.  As it is said, the view comes after the hardest climb. So this winter brace up for some new adventure with the best views, from ascending slopes to lush green meadows, from bit steep to plain trails. This trek has everything.

My solo trip to one of last village in Kasol Himachal.

In the middle of the day, I was standing puzzled in the place known as Kasol. I had no idea how this place would be and what I would do alone there. The foreigners definitely were visible in the majority. Hebrew (Israel official language) was used in many restaurants along with English and Hindi.I usually don't eat before the bus travel, so I was hungry and decided to Visit holy Manikaran first (3 km uphill from Kasol). Manikaran has mesmerizing beauty. A grand Gurudwara besides the God Shiva temple on the bank of violent Parvati river. This place is also blessed with a hot spring. In this hot spring, delicious food of the Gurudwara is cooked. The gateway to Gurudwara led to a bridge to cross Parvati River and the hot spot for profile pictures.Right inside the Gurudwara, there is a pond of hot water from spring in which freezing water of Parvati is brought through a pipe and mixed. It is believed that if you take a bath in this pond all your skin disease will vanish. In the vicinity where water is mixed, the water temperature varies from hot to cold. So you can enjoy lukewarm water. I took the bathe and then I headed up to Langar food. This has been my first ever Gurudwara visit. I would skip the traditional beauty of Gurudwara. I had delicious food there. Most people miss they also serve sweet (Halwa) in form of Prasad upstairs. Never miss that. You can book your room in Gurudwara if you want to stay there. It's free. Free food and free stay make many foreigners crazy. Next, I visited the temple. Clicked some pictures. Here was a thing that no-one told me before. Manikaran is beautiful, but you can hardly spend 3-4 hours only not the entire stay. So I chose to go Kasol again. There are buses every 10 minutes, but I chose to hitchhike. Those two guys were high on weed like most people there. They asked me to take a puff.I said I don't drink and smoke. They said that there is nothing here for you then. They told me from here on, every place is Kasol, where you want to go?I was confused, this situation was never written on any blog. They dropped me at the market.I walked through the market, there was nothing new in that place. There were just ordinary hill station shops and few hotels. I felt cheated by the place and decided to go back.At the bus station while I was waiting for the bus. Some locals suggested me to go to Tosh or to Kheerganga trek. Since I had a healing leg and a luggage, so I was avoiding the difficult long trek. Then this guy appeared, he told me that he has a cafe on the top of Sheela village. It's an easy trek, and he showed me some pictures too.It was a risky choice this guy could be anything. But going back was not the best option either, so I said yes.The bus stopped near a small shop named Naina cafe. It was 4 pm already. As long as the Sun is visible mountains are mesmerizing, beautiful but once it sets they become scary. I wanted to make sure before it happened, I should be in a room. Just beside this cafe, the trek started it lasted around 1 hour going through some easy and rough terrain. Entire time the sound of Parvati River was just adding magic to the journey.I don't even remember when it was the last time when I witnessed the pattern of leaves.Or I danced to the music of water or screamed my heart out, or I wasonly physically exhausted. Facing the fear of death every moment, I only felt what it meant to be alive. It was the first time when I saw something beautiful and did not capture it because I knew no camera can capture what I was feeling while trekking. That's how beautiful little Sheela village trek was.It would be unfair to travellers if I try explain what I felt in words. It was in the true sense, the first night I ever spent in nature. Itwas magical from the Sunrise to the Sunset. It turned out that I was the first customer for that new homestay and their place was in construction. I chipped in my bit. There were a few guys who have left their jobs from metro cities and intended to live forever in this place. Obviously, they all were shouting 'Bum Bhole'. Later that turned out to be a problem that they all were so high when they slept, it was hard to wake them up. I and one more guy had to check out, but there was no one to receive payment. We called on their phone too. Even we left a message that we would pay online in whatever means they would say when they will wake up. Later, around after an hour when we were walking through the long route just to spend more time on this, they came to us and misbehaved. That 5 km walk from that place to last bus stop point, is the best part of my entire journey. Most people who go even further up during camping generally take a taxi to come back. That walk around the Sheela Village is beyond words, I came across places where adventure was the only mean to go ahead. It was scary in between when we realized we two guys were all alone walking through that place and it started to rain too but luckily it stopped.Walking through that unusual route I realized how beautiful life could be, how much we can do in a day. In our usual life we don’t even realize its value. Every day, every place is beautiful as long as you are not stuck there.

Boost Your Self Confidence Through Trekking
 Manmohan Singh
 27 May 2019

Apart from many physical benefits, trekking also helps you in improving the mental as well as psychological health. To know more read the following article. In the last few years trekking in India has witnessed a huge surge in its popularity. And this led to the importance of distinct trekking tours in India such as trekking in Ladakh, Triund, Parashar Lake, etc. Though people have been following it as a trend there are multiple health benefits associated with it as well. It is easy to guess the physical benefits that include improved heart health, effective breathing, stamina, strength, etc. But there are psychological and mental benefits as well that boosts the self-confidence of an individual.Let’s examine how trekking boost self-confidence:Relieves stress: Hectic meetings, deadlines, performance, etc. all these burden the mind with stress which is the source of various health issues. Trekking, on the other hand, distracts the mind from a chaotic lifestyle and gives you space to breathe. For example, trekking in Nepal in amidst of the Himalayas helps you forget the stress and allures you towards the beauty of mountains. This releases endorphins responsible for relieving stress in the body and mind and ultimately makes you happy.Improves outlook: Negativity, unwillingness, anxiety, etc. often blocks the mind and doesn’t let you focus on the work. Whereas, trekking gives you the opportunity to drift these negativities away and focus on the necessary things. You may be trekking in hills, valleys, beaches, forests, etc. it helps you focus on the details of the environment which changes your outlook. It replaces negativity with positivity and feeds energy to the mind and body.Detoxifies digitally: Being digitally active all the time is another way that blocks the thinking capability of the mind and affects the nervous system. Going on a trek helps you detoxify digitally. It reconnects you with nature and brings awareness to the mind as well as body. This enhances the performance at work, communication skills and teaches compassion towards self and others.Strategic planning: Trekking is the most uncertain experience therefore it introduces you to the challenges that may come in the way. It helps you understand the challenges that may come, how to combat and ultimately win over them. As you gain experience, it helps you plan strategically for the trek as well as for life. Moreover, it helps in building managerial skills such as leadership, strategy management, resource planning, etc. To challenge your managerial skills trekking in Ladakh is the best trek route in India.Builds social circle: There can be a possibility that you are good at work but shy to build relations at work. Trekking helps you connect with people from around the globe to share thoughts and express yourself. You may either trek alone and be friends with a bunch of unknown trekkers and make connections for life. You may also trek with your colleagues, friends, family, etc. You will be benefited either way.Develops spirituality: Not many people can remember the last time they peek into their spiritual souls. The struggle between your personal and social life restricts you for the same. But if you are trekking in India, it isn’t that difficult to connect with the spiritual self. The river bank of the holy river Ganga, temples in India, trekking to the religious destinations helps you discover the spiritual self.Enhances efficiency: Since stress is relieved, the outlook is improved, digitally detoxified, strategic planning is improved, etc. All these eventually have positive effects on performance at work. Trekking helps you focus and concentrate on things for longer, sharpen your abilities and skills and helps you rediscover yourself. This enhances efficiency at work or at home. All the above-mentioned reasons shape the overall personality of an individual and hence, boost the self-confidence.

5 Things to Avoid in Food During Trekking
 Manmohan Singh
 30 May 2019

Trekking is a holistic activity that takes you to places that are unbelievably picturesque. Places that you may have seen in photographs and postcards. The glistening mountain tops and pristine lakes are not the only things that are tempting to the soul. The foods in these areas of the world are so different to the taste buds and very new to enthusiastic souls who like to discover these new things while travelling. The fun in travelling lies in these small discoveries that one makes. While trekking, one comes across so many kinds of mesmerising terrains and landscapes, the soul and the body is ready to accept all the good that the foods of the local area brings along in the course of the journey. Not just the food but the native cultures and traditions are rich, diverse and a segment of traditional beliefs that have passed down the ages. Nepal is a place that is known for the diverse amount of trekking trails and terrains, for trek enthusiasts to dwell in. The best part is that trekking in Nepal does not burn a huge hole in your pocket, that’s why Nepal is a favourite amongst enthusiasts. One of the most famous tracks for trekking is the Everest base camp trekking in Nepal. People, who want to get close to the highest mountain in the world, opt for this trekking trail once in Nepal. There is a long list of foods that you should eat while on a trekking trip, but there are 5 important foods and beverages that you must absolutely avoid while starting on a trekking journey. 1. Alcoholic beveragesConsumption of alcohol lowers your energy outlet and drags down your focus while trekking. More than anything, alcohol is a beverage that stirs your emotional levels and hampers the progress on your mental capacity on a trek. Trekking is an activity that requires your mind to be aware and alert at all times; a loss of one second of your attention span can lead to fatal accidents. It is worse if you go through a hangover before starting a lengthy trek.  It is true that people consume alcohol to ward off the chilling winds in a trek, but that is only really small quantities of alcohol. It is always better to celebrate with alcohol after the trek is over. 2. Cold meatsYou may have heard that meat is a very strong source of proteins and energy, but you may not know that you can obtain the same quantity of proteins and vitamins from so many kinds of vegetables. More than anything, why the consumption of meat is so bothersome is that, meat can be preserved and kept for inculcating flavour, and the proteins in the meat don’t survive for long. So, what you consume in the end is a dead flesh that has been cured for flavour. While trekking you need proteins and vitamins to keep you trekking in a consistent manner, it is not advisable to consume dead flesh while on a trek that needs you to produce the energy from within. Especially while on a trek to Nepal do not expect a lot of variety in meat. If you are used to eating beef forget that you will find beef anywhere, cow is the national animal of Nepal and it is highly offensive to consume beef or steak. 3. Carbonated drinksWhen on a trek you must take care of your abdomen and stomach. Try to eat foods that do not upset the stomach a lot. Especially consuming all natural based items is advisable. Carbonated drinks only serve for flavour and the taste buds while not being a very healthy option while on a trek. For energy boost and refreshment, try drinking natural vegan milks and fruit juices instead. 4. RiceEating rice in large amounts causes your stomach to swell and this makes it hard for you to carry your own weight on a trek. Rice is necessary for the carbohydrates that is provides but consuming too much out of hunger is not advised. This is because rice does not provide lot of roughage for exercising the abdomen. Rather breads like the traditional Nepali roti are full of proteins and roughage. 5. Processed foodsAny form of processed foods is likely to contain very less amounts of the vitamins of that particular food. Processed foods also contain traces of preservatives that are not beneficial for your energy flow. Avoid processed foods and try to consume more foods that can be naturally sourced, even if it lacks in flavour which is very unlikely, opt for natural foods, fruits and vegetables.  While on an important trek, or any trekking expedition for that matter, try to go as vegan or vegetarian as possible. The greens that you consume hold a lot more energy than meat and other alternatives you consume for proteins. There are a lot of foods that are essential for treks, and believe it or not, while on a trek, the simplest foods like rice, wheat and lentils are the best source of energy. The locals thrive on this kind of food and it is what keeps them surviving and it the best shape to be alive on these terrains. We may be tourists but the natives are locals they are one with the mountains and the natural surroundings. So follow their lead and do in Rome as the Romans do.

Start with shorter routes in the beginning, and be all decked up with the essentials like a cap, windcheaters, sweat-proof or dry-fit clothes, etc. Keep your head covered from the heat. Also, try to go for pants to avoid minor cuts and injuries in the forests or barren lands. For insulation purpose, you may have to wear layers of light clothes. It sounds odd, but it certainly is the way to go ahead. Synthetic fibers or polyester material clothes are perfect for the trek, to prevent you from chafing as well.Keep your sunscreen, sunglasses handy.Hydration SupportDefinitely, keep yourself hydrated with water and some vitamin C drinks. Do not drink too much at once, take 2-3 sips to basically rinse your mouth time to time during the tiring trek. Consuming too much may give you chest pain, and losing all the water may cause you trouble for the rest of the trek since you have got to purify water.Other than that, do bring a few salty snacks of your choice. Energy bars are a good way to keep yourself going, to re-charge yourself.Take Regular BreaksDo not hesitate to stop once in a while and capture the view in your heart. Taking regular but short breaks is an excellent way to finish your trek as early as possible. This will make you mentally satisfied, and physically able to finish your trek. These breaks will make you realize how important it is to know about your trail so that you can pick the perfect trekking shoes for your trek.Don’t let the hot weather stop you from pursuing your trekking goals. Instead, be the ‘star’ of the trek by considering these tips. Give a hand to your mates, cheer-up the strangers, motivate people, and help them out as you move forward. These are the values of a true trekker.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.23
 Dhwani Shah
 20 July 2019

Eternity - In Gita Verse 2.23 The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind. Now Krishna in this verse says regarding Subjectivity, Soul, which cannot be affected by anything.Which is - The Eternity of Your Being:To live as an awareness: awareness of all the programs the mind has been conditioned for, awareness of all the impulses, desires, memories, imaginations… all that the mind can do.One has to be not part of it, but separate - seeing it but not being it - watching it. And this is one of the most essential things to remember, that you cannot watch your watchfulness. If you watch your watchfulness, then the watcher is you, not the watched. So you cannot go beyond watchfulness. The point that you cannot transcend is your being. The point that you cannot go beyond is you. You can watch very easily any thought, any emotion, any sentiment. Just one thing you cannot watch - and that is your watchfulness. And if you manage to watch it, that means you have shifted: the first watchfulness has become just a thought; now you are the second watcher. You can go on shifting back, but you cannot get out of watchfulness because it is you: you cannot be otherwise. So, “Just be yourself,” Means, “Just be unprogrammed, unconditioned awareness.” That’s how you had come into the world, and that’s how the enlightened person leaves the world. He lives in the world but remains totally separate. One of the great mystics, Kabir, has a beautiful poem about it. All his poems are just perfect - nothing can be better. One of his poems says, “I will give back the soul that was given to me at the time of my birth as pure, as clean, as it was given to me. I will give it back that way when I die.” He is talking about awareness, that it has remained unpolluted. The whole world was there to pollute it, but he has remained watchful. All that you need is just to be watchful, and nothing will affect you. This unaffectedness will keep your purity, and this purity has certainly the freshness of life, the joy of existence - all the treasures that you have been endowed with. But you become attached to the small things surrounding you and forget the one that you are. It is the greatest discovery in life and the most ecstatic pilgrimage to truth. And you need not be an ascetic, you need not be anti-life; you need not renounce the world and go to the mountains. You can be where you are, you can continue to do what you are doing. Just a new thing has to be evolved: whatever you do, you do with awareness - even the smallest act of the body or the mind - and with each act of awareness you will become aware of the beauty and the treasure and the glory and the eternity of your being. Also same thing can be said by different words so we can understand it.Soul has no beginning and no end, it is eternity:Soul has no beginning and no end. It is eternity, and that is God’s gift. God has given himself in the gift, because soul is God. All that is needed is a certain awakening in your heart so you can see it, feel it, taste it, touch it. The gift has been waiting and waiting for you for thousands of years, but you have been asleep, as everybody has been.Unless you want to wake up, unless an intense longing to wake up arises in you, no possible help can be given from the outside. But if you want to be awakened then all possible help is available. It cannot be imposed on you; your freedom cannot be interfered with. With your cooperation the thing is very simple…But if you are not cooperating then it is the most impossible thing in the world; then nothing can be done.Arjuna has to become an awakening. Arjuna has do nothing but a great effort to wake himself up.Right now Krishna is shaking up Arjuna up, again and again and Arjuna is going back to his sleep.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.69
 Dhwani Shah
 3 September 2019

Don’t Renounce - In Gita Verse 2.69 What is night for all beings is the time of awakening for the self-controlled; and the time of awakening for all beings is night for the introspective sage.Krishna is now saying the person who is awake while sleeping is Yogi. It has got nothing to do which whether you live in jungle, or middle of world. Whether you have renonce the objective world or not. It’s about how we live it. That makes you Yogi, Sannyasin, not by renouncing the objective world. Everyone have to live in the world but as awaken person. This World Is Not to Be Renounced:All the religions have been teaching, “Renounce the world.” Krishna teach you, transform the world.Renouncing it is sheer cowardice, and by renouncing it, nothing significant happens — the world goes on living, producing new generations in the old pattern. And the persons who have renounced the world — they also don’t go through a transformation, for a simple reason that they lose all opportunities where they can test whether they are growing or not. You can sit in the Himalayas for a half a century and you will feel silent, but that silence is not yours; it belongs to the Himalayas. Everything is silent, eternally silent, and there is nobody to disturb you.Just to get out of the situations where you get disturbed does not mean that you are attaining peacefulness; it simply means you are running away from situations where you are certain that your peace will be disturbed. Renouncing the world has never been my idea; it was always to change it.Millions of people are suffering, and suffering for stupid reasons. It is absolutely inhuman to turn your back on it and move to the mountains or to the deserts to live peacefully there. That peace is very cheap, very superficial; it has almost no meaning. Just come back to the world and it will be disturbed, it will be shattered into pieces. And that will be immensely significant to awaken you, that what you have been thinking of as peace, silence, has been just a dream which is shattered by the reality, just as a mirror is shattered when hit by a rock… and it is shattered forever. That mirror you cannot put together again, and all those years that you were enjoying the idea that you have attained peace have gone down the drain. This world is not to be renounced. There are beautiful people, there are immensely capable people; they just have never come across a person who could have triggered a process of mutation in their life.Krishna is not for renunciation but for living in awareness, even while sleeping. We are sleeping while we are awake. He is saying be awake while sleeping also, and you will live the life of Yogi.Yoga Nidra:Yoga nidra is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light withdrawal of the 5 senses (pratyahara) with four senses internalised, that is, withdrawn, and only hearing still connects to any instructions given. The goals of both yogic paths, yoga nidra and meditation are the same, a state of meditative consciousness called samadhi. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. In lucid dreaming, one is only, or mainly, cognizant of the dream environment, and has little or no awareness of one's actual environment.Yoga nidra results in conscious awareness of the deep sleep state, which is called prajna in the Mandukya Upanishad.Krishna is saying to Arjuna there is no need to renounce the life and any circumstances. Live with total awareness and in the middle of the war while fighting the war you will be Witnessing Consciousness, Whole. Without renouncing anything you will be Yogi, means like Lotus. Taking birth from mud, living in the mud, still mud will not touch you. NO NEED TO RENOUNCE.

Trekking Vs. Hiking: How to Choose The Best One For You
 Manmohan Singh
 9 October 2019

Hiking and trekking are terms often used interchangeably. If you are an adventurer you might know the difference between the two. Both involve walking but hiking lasts for a much shorter time than trekking. The type of terrain and technical difficulty are where the differences in hiking and trekking lie.The two share few similarities but are different from each other. It is important to understand the differences between hiking and trekking and keep in mind to choose the best one for yourself.  This article brings the answer to your question of how to choose the best one for you between trekking and hiking:HikingHiking includes long hours of walking and is easier as it does not involve climbing skills and anyone will be able to do it. The level of difficulty of hikes varies but it is not too difficult for a person to pursue. If you are thinking to go for an adventure and trekking seems too difficult and time taking, you can start by taking a hike. Hiking does not involve any walking or overnight equipment to carry. If you are looking for hiking, then Nepal hiking tours offers budget friendly packages in the serene mountains with amazing experiences. If you want to experience adventure but are not up for many days that trekking involves and also you are scared, then hiking might be a convenient option for you. Hiking is a wonderful stress buster with minimum risk involved, away from busy life where you can detox yourself and breathe some fresh air and stay in the arms of nature for a while.Much of technical knowledge is not required, if you are physically fit, a hike is waiting for you to explore. TrekkingTrekking lasts for many days and requires physical fitness as it can be more demanding on the body. It involves more challenges than hiking as it lasts for more days. So, if you are an adventure junkie and like the adrenaline rush, then trekking is meant for you. Before planning a trek various factors have to be kept in mind like physical fitness, number of days involved and season. Generally, you will have to camp while trekking so it involves food and equipments.Trekking provides you a wider picture of nature as it involves climbing high altitudes and mountains. If you are a yoga lover, you can choose trekking tours that involves yoga to have a combination of experiences of both yoga and trekking. If you are a trekking enthusiast or want to try out trekking for the first time then Nepal trekking tours offer a range of packages depending upon the number of days and budget. Trekking tours packages are done in groups and as it lasts for a number of days you will be able to make new friends along the way and get to know about the culture and flora and fauna of that specific area. If you want to take the road less traveled then Mustang trekking tours might be right for you. The entire topography of Mustang is different from the other parts of Nepal which makes it a ‘must go to’ place for a trek.   You will have time to interact with the locals on a trekking tour where you can learn about their food, language, tradition and culture. Trekking will transform you physically and mentally. You will learn about your body.Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Inca Trail, etc. are some of the most popular treks.“It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.”  - Sir Edmund Hillary

Bhagavad Gita Verse 4.7
 Dhwani Shah
 28 October 2019

Angulimal - In Gita Verse 4.7 Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion – at that time I descend Myself.Krishna takes birth for others, in compassion. While in compassion Krishna take birth to give, no expectation. For him irreligion means when human being is stuck in duality, their animal nature. To guide the humanity to grow in consciousness he takes birth. In my Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.2, I wrote regarding Only compassion is therapeutic. How? Let’s understand this by Buddha and Angulimal’s story. There was a man in Gautam Buddha’s time whose name was Angulimal. He had taken a vow to cut off one thousand heads, and to take one finger from each dead person and make a garland of one thousand fingers. Angulimal means the man with the garland of one thousand fingers. He was a ferocious man. People stopped going close to him. The road that passed by the hill where he was staying was no longer being used. He had already cut off nine hundred and ninety-nine heads; he was waiting for only one more. The road that passed by his hill was utterly empty, nobody was coming. And then Buddha came to pass. That road was the shortcut, but people were going the long way around, just to avoid Angulimal. Naturally, Buddha took the shortcut. His disciples said, ”Bhagawan, you don’t know what you are doing! Haven’t you heard about that madman, Angulimal? It is better to go the long, roundabout way, rather than to take the shortcut.”But people like Gautam Buddha never turn back. He said, ”I cannot turn back, now even more than before. If I had not known about Angulimal, perhaps I might have taken the other road. That poor fellow is waiting for only one head! My work is done; I have known all that can be known, I have experienced all that can be experienced. Now there is no reason for me.... If I can be of some service to that poor man, it will be good.”He went. Angulimal saw him. Buddha’s disciples, who were always clambering around him, by and by started creating a distance between him and themselves. If he was caught, at least they could escape. Angulimal saw Gautam Buddha coming. Even that dangerous man, who had murdered nine hundred and ninety-nine people already, felt for the first time that he also had a heart. Gautam Buddha was looking so innocent, so childlike and so beautiful in the early morning sun.Angulimal shouted, ”You please turn back, because only one head is missing! Perhaps you are a stranger... but looking at you, something in me says ‘Let this man go – there are many idiots, I can cut off their heads.’ Even if my mother comes here, I will cut off her head! But you please go back. Don’t come close to me – I am dangerous! Do you see my sword? It is waiting for the last head.”Gautam Buddha continued. He stepped off the road and started moving into the mountains, closer to Angulimal.Angulimal said, ”It seems you are more mad than me. Why are you going on and on and on?”Buddha said, ”Angulimal, I stopped going anywhere a long time ago. I am not going anywhere, it is you who are.” Angulimal was standing there – Buddha was walking!Angulimal said, ”Certainly you are mad. You are walking, moving, and you say you have stopped a long time ago. I am standing, and you say, ‘You are moving.’”Buddha said, ”Just try to understand. Your mind is moving, thinking. My mind is silent, there is no movement. And you will not get a better head. It is really a joy to fulfill your vow. Prepare your sword.”Angulimal could not understand what kind of man he was. He was in a great shock; he had never come across such a man! He was ashamed of himself for the first time in his life. He could not look at Buddha eye to eye, because those eyes were radiating compassion, love, grace, joy, blissfulness, ecstasy – things that he had never known, but the fragrance was reaching him.He said again to Buddha, ”You please go, sir. I don’t want to kill you. You are unnecessarily insisting that I do something that I don’t want to do.” But Buddha went on coming closer and closer. And finally he was standing before Angulimal.Angulimal said, ”I used to think I was a stubborn man – you are a thousandfold more stubborn. Now I cannot help you, I have to cut your head.”Buddha said, ”It is an old tradition and convention to fulfill the last wish of a person who is going to die, and I have a very small wish. You fulfill it and then kill me.”He said, “What is your wish? Even if it is the biggest thing, I will manage it for you.”Buddha said, ”No, it is a very small thing. Just cut off a branch of the tree under which you are standing.”Angulimal said, ”What kind of thing are you asking? But okay, if that is your wish.” With his sword he cut off a branch.Buddha said, ”Now, put it back. Let it be part of the tree again. Let it blossom again.”Angulimal said, ”That is impossible. How can I join it with the tree?”Buddha said, ”If you cannot even join a small branch to the tree, do you see the implications of it? Any child could have broken that branch off the tree, and you are a strong man – you have not done a great job. You can cut off my head, but can you manage to give me life again? And if you cannot create, what right have you to destroy?”There was a moment of silence. The sword fell from Angulimal’s hands. He threw away that garland of nine hundred and ninety-nine fingers, and fell at Buddha’s feet. He said, ”I never thought about it, that destroying something – any mediocre person, any coward, any idiot can do that. The real genius is creative – you are right. Please accept me as your disciple.”Buddha initiated him. When people like Krishna, Buddha, Mahavira takes birth they take birth out of their compassion. They guide humanity to grow in consciousness from every circumstances. They don’t choose the circumstances they create opportunity to guide the humanity from any circumstances to grow in consciousness. Person like Angulimal can turn in so why can't we?

Bhagavad Gita Verse 6.2
 Dhwani Shah
 3 January 2020

Categorical Condition - In Gita Verse 6.2 What is called renunciation you should know to be the same as yoga, or linking oneself with the Supreme, O son of Pāṇḍu, for one can never become a yogī unless he renounces the desire for sense gratification.Krishna is saying that the person who is doing rituals and following the words of scripture is not sannyasin. The real sannyasin is one who live in the world and renounced his desires for the fruits but do act is real sannyasin. Whose actions are categorical condition: and that condition is awareness, meditation.Looking at life from the standpoint of self-ignorance is sansara, the world. Looking at life from the standpoint of self-knowing is sannyas. Therefore, whenever someone says that he has taken sannyas, the whole thing seems very false. This ‘taking’ of sannyas creates the impression that it is an antagonistic act against the world. Can sannyas be taken? Can anyone say he has ‘taken’ knowing? And will any knowing that is taken like that be true knowing? A sannyas that is taken is not sannyas. You cannot put a cloak of truth around you. Truth has to be awakened within you. Sannyas is born. It comes through understanding, and in that understanding we go on being transformed. As our understanding changes, our outlook changes and our behavior is transformed without any effort. The world stays where it is, but sannyas is gradually born within us. Sannyas is the awareness that ‘I am not only the body, I am also the soul.’ With this knowing, the ignorance and attachment inside us drops away. The world was outside and it will still continue to be there, but inside us there will be the absence of attachment to it. In other words, there will be no world, no sansara inside us.Sannyas means courage more than anything else, because it is a declaration of your individuality, a declaration of freedom, a declaration that you will not be any more part of the mob madness, the mob psychology. It is a declaration that you are becoming universal; you will not belong to any country, to any church, to any race, any religion. You don't belong anywhere – that is reality. All hankering to belong is deceptive. The very idea to belong creates organizations; the very idea to belong creates the church – because you cannot be alone, so you want to drown yourself somewhere in a crowd. A sannyasin is one who has accepted his aloneness. It is fundamental; it cannot be drowned. By becoming a sannyasin you are not becoming a part of a certain organization – this is not an organization at all. By becoming a sannyasin, you are becoming courageous enough to accept a certain fact: that man exists in aloneness. And it is so fundamental; there is no way to escape from it. It is as fundamental as death. In fact, death is nothing but bringing you the news that you were alone, and now you are alone. And it does not mean that you have to go to the mountains, you can be alone in the marketplace. It is simply a question of being aware, alert, watchful, remembering that you are only your watchfulness. Then you are alone wherever you are. You may be in the crowd, you may be in the mountains; it makes no difference, you are just the same watchfulness. In the crowd you watch the crowd; in the mountains you watch the mountains. With open eyes you watch existence; with closed eyes you watch yourself. You are only one thing: the watcher. And this watcher is the greatest realization. This is your buddha nature; this is your nature of enlightenment, of your awakening. This should be your only discipline. Only this makes you a disciple: this discipline of knowing your aloneness. Otherwise, what makes you a disciple? You have been deceived on every point in life. You have been told that to believe in a master makes you a disciple. That is absolutely wrong; otherwise, everybody in the world is a disciple.Somebody believes in Jesus, somebody believes in Buddha, somebody believes in Krishna, somebody believes in Mahavira; everybody believes in somebody but nobody is a disciple, because to be a disciple does not mean to believe in a master. To be a disciple means to learn the discipline of being yourself, of being your true self.Krishna when says - one can never become a yogī unless he renounces the desire for sense gratification - means - Sannyasins would live life in its totality, but with an absolute condition, categorical condition: and that condition is awareness, meditation. Go first deep into meditation, so you can cleanse your unconscious of all poisonous seeds, so there is nothing to be corrupted and there is nothing inside you which power can bring forth. And then do whatsoever you feel like doing.

mukam karoti vachalampangum langhayate girimyat-kripa tam aham vandesri-gurum dina-taranam“I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master, the deliverer of the fallen souls. His mercy turns the dumb into eloquent speakers and enables the lame to cross mountains.”The glories of Sri Guru are unfathomable, for he is the direct representative of Sri Krishna himself, and being a very dear devotee of the Lord, he imparts upon his disciples bhakti and prem for the lotus feet of Sri Mukunda. Sri Guru, by his mercy alone, can turn a dumb person into an eloquent speaker, enable a lame to cross mountains and make the seed of bhakti grow in the barren land of the hearts of the jivas suffering from the disease of material contamination, by making the hearts of such living entities fertile by nourishing them with Krishna katha. One beautiful example of the glories of Sri Guru can be seen in one pastime od Srila Ramanujacharya. Sri Ramanujacharya, the acharya of the Sri Sampradaya, would regularly give classes to all his followers on the topics of Shastra and Bhakti, which would be attended by all his disciples, most of whom were very learned scholars and sanskrit pandits. Along with all these disciples, the personal servant of Sri Ramanujacharya, a simple illiterate disciple, would also sit and listen to the classes, even though he was not well-versed in the shastras and did not hold knowledge about sanskrit grammar. Once, when Sri Ramanujacharya was about to start the class, he noticed that his personal servant, the illiterate disciple was not present in the assembly and therefore he did not start the session, rather he patiently waited for him to come. The assembles scholarly disciples requested him to start but when he still did not commence with the class, they inquired from him the reason for the delay, for they reasoned that all the prominent disciples had already arrived. Sri Ramanujacharya then mentioned that his personal servant had not yet arrived, which surprised the rest of the assembly, and they said that he could anyway not comprehend the purports of the shastra for he was illiterate and therefore it would be futile to wait for him. However, despite their insistence, he did not start the class and soon the disciple, for whom he had been waiting, arrived and apologised for the delay stating that he had to cross the river to find a suitable spot for him to wash his Guru Maharaj's, Ramanujacharya's, clothes and therefore he had been delayed. Then, upon the instruction of his spiritual master and with his mercy, the same illiterate disciple started composing numerous shlokas, each one of which was grammatically perfect and consisted of the most beautiful poetic embellishments. Hearing these Shlokas, the rest of the disciples were dumbstruck and could not believe what had just happened. This was possible for him due to the mercy of his spiritual master, who was pleased with his service and bestowed upon him all knowledge. Indeed, one who pleases the spiritual master with service is blessed by the spiritual master with the highest of benedictions, pure love of Godhead. Therefore, it is necessary for a living entity desiring to attain the ultimate Goal of life to take complete shelter of a pure devotee of the Lord and please him with service, for he shall then bestow upon the devotee Krishna prem.

For many, Europe is a journey of life. If you want to travel there, prioritize all options to be happy on time. When you have completed your daily tasks, such as obtaining a valid passport, begin planning. We hope paket tour karimunjawa and some of these five tips will help you plan your European trip properly.1. Make Sure You Have The Budget.Yes, it's difficult, but if you don't know exactly where to spend your money and money, you are not a happy traveler if you struggle to call your family for a half trip loan. One thing to consider when planning your trip to Europe is a short trip. That means school holidays and the biggest months must be avoided. If this is not possible, consider a cheaper seat. Of course, a few days at Ritz in London is a dream for everyone. If your budget allows or you need a holiday, we recommend that you do not do this, but you can see the city on your way from the hotel.2. Be Careful When Planning Your Trip To EuropeThere are exactly parts of Europe that you want to see above. If this applies to you, make it your main destination while traveling.Suppose you plan a trip to Europe while watching London, and you have two weeks. Perhaps, after spending the first two days there, travel overnight to Ireland, then another night in London, and then travel to the Netherlands via Eurostar. Perhaps you'll travel to London and go home on a cheap flight to Spain and Portugal. If you want to travel to Europe, you can of course do this central route anywhere. Go to Budapest, Hungary and explore the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria. Alternatively, depart from Copenhagen, Denmark and travel to Sweden, Norway, and Finland. This particular idea is not for everyone, but needs protection. Of course, Europe is not a big problem, but it is a wonderful country. Certain structures are very important to make the most of your time. Therefore, be careful when planning your trip to Europe.3. Do Things Step By Step.If you do not follow these ideas when planning your trip to Europe, at least divide your trip into steps and explore the road section. That means you start your trip in London and fly 1,000 miles to Greece for a few hours, then don't mean returning to Wales for a few days, just three hours by car from the British capital.European small size combined with diversity can help you here. If you are planning a trip to Europe, for a small fee, you can see a variety of cultural and dramatic landscapes in a small space paket tour karimunjawa.4. Write The Accommodation In Advance.Unless you plan to travel completely "on the fly", it is highly recommended that you book your trip to Europe in advance. In addition to adding this process to your plan, you can better understand your travel budget. There are also signs of "no accommodation" everywhere, so you are more likely to return to your next hotel. You can also get a good discount if you specify enough in advance.5. Make A Wise Plan.If you plan to travel to Europe, you need to consider the dynamics of climate change. Before considering European countries (part of the mountains above sea level), for example, there is the fact that Scandinavia is likely to be much cooler than Spain, for example, regardless of the year of travel. ,If your travel possibilities can take over the powers of the continent, you will probably know about almost every weather event you can imagine.Of course, how you perform the above steps when planning your trip to Europe depends on you, your budget, and the time you spend.

HOW TO CREATE A FAKE PERSONALITY ON THE INTERNET AND WHY DO YOU NEED IT
 Parima Geek
 10 February 2020

Recently, few people consider paranoia the desire of Internet users to hide their true identity, hiding behind a kind of virtual way.And this is not a matter of purely Indians specifics when the authorities are trying to get into not only wallets and beds, but already into the heads of citizens, but in the global trend, namely, in revitalizing and expanding the activities of international cybercrime, which is active and quite a successful hunt for personal information.A clear illustration is a scandal involving the theft of customer data from the largest eBay online auction, which erupted in the spring of 2014. Recall that at the end of winter, attackers managed to penetrate the company’s internal network through the accounts of its employees and copy customer information, including names, birthdays, phone numbers, addresses and encrypted passwords for accessing eBay services, within a month. According to experts, cyber burglars got information about 145 million people, and these data are of such a nature that they can be (and will be!) Used in the future for unauthorized entry into any electronic accounts of these people, including those that are still doesn't even exist. The frequency and magnitude of such cyberattacks cannot but cause concern. One can recall another recent hacking of the Target chain of American supermarkets, as a result of which the personal data of up to 40 million people were stolen, including details about payment cards sufficient to make duplicates of them. Such ease of theft and, most importantly, their prevalence indicate that even the largest companies are unable to guarantee the confidentiality of your data. And this means that you should think several times before sending someone your personal data, which is of considerable value. In general, it’s worth considering whether it is really necessary to enter real information about yourself only to subscribe to any newsletters or services. We offer you some tips for hiding your personal data from cybercriminals on the Internet, including using pseudonyms, one-time email addresses, and fake location information. Of course, in a number of cases - such as e-government or Internet banking services - you can’t do without entering real data, but there are many ways to confirm your identity that are not connected to the Internet: for example, via mail or SMS. In other cases, remember that not everyone should trust their true personal information.1. DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR REAL AGEAdvice that children who love to visit websites for those who are over eighteen years old, but also quite relevant for all other Internet users, will especially like it. If some site requires you to "prove" your age (usually it’s resources about alcohol, tobacco or adult sites), just lie. Owners of such a resource do not need to know your real age, so you are not required to report it. You have the right to name absolutely any date of birth, and thereby circumvent this purely formal "protection" from young visitors. When registering on Facebook, you will also be asked for your date of birth: this is partially done to protect against inappropriate content, but mainly in order to send “friends” notifications that it’s time to congratulate you. However, if these are real friends, then they will not need such an alert, so you are free to specify a completely arbitrary date in the profile.2. USE A ONE-TIME EMAIL ADDRESSWhen registering on various fake email generator and network services, they are often asked to enter an email address to send a confirmation, but it is not necessary to use your real mailbox for this, and even more so - to specially create some new one. It is enough to use the services of numerous free disposable mail services. For example, on the website, you can create a fake temporary address in just a few seconds just to get confirmation. Any folders of "incoming" letters on this site are created immediately at the moment when a message arrives on them. After receiving an email to an address like podtverdilka@mailinator.com, you can send a confirmation and thereby register on the desired site without disclosing personal data. After that, you can simply forget about such an address, and you will not receive mountains of spam at your real email address. This is a great way to try some new service, and if you like it, then you can always change the email address in its settings. The service is even easier to use: this extension for the Chrome and Firefox browsers creates a pop-up window whenever a form with a request for an email address appears on any site and offers to "mask it" using a fake address. All messages arriving at such an address will be forwarded to your real mail (for this you need to register), but for the owners of the site it will remain unknown. The paid version ($ 5 per month) will similarly replace the phone number and payment card information.3. BE REALISTIC IN THE DETAILSCreating a fake identity on the Internet is a great way to protect your personal data, but you need to be realistic in detail, otherwise, attentive operators of various services can simply liquidate accounts created on behalf of such an identity, with the loss of all data and other unpleasant consequences. For example, you need to choose a plausible-sounding name (Andrey Solovyov, but not Strelka Dog) and a simple personality profile (student or employee, but not a champion in professional train collision). The virtual location should also be either familiar to you personally (for example, you work there or regularly relax), or it is known to one of your friends.Be sure to upload a photo to your profile, as an account without a photo is perceived by many as obviously false and designed to distribute spam or trolling. Since we are not talking about your own photo, you can find some pictures from the “clip art” or, for example, draw your avatar on some free service like. Never use someone else's photo if you do not want problems with the law and accusations that you are trying to pass yourself off as some other really existing person.4. USE FAKE NAME GENERATORSOwners of many sites love it when their users fill out the maximum in the profiles and report as much information about themselves as possible. If we want to create a realistic personality, but save time, it makes sense to use automatic generators of fake identities. One of the best services of this kind is the Fake Name Generator, which allows you to create personalities with specified characteristics by nationality and place of residence. By the way, although there are Indian names and surnames in the set of options, it is impossible to choose the obviously, the authors simply do not have enough information on the standards for displaying different types of data for these countries. The Fake Name Generator site is remarkable in that it creates a ready-made virtual identity with a mass of a wide variety of data, including a realistic-looking address with an index, a phone number that undergoes automated tests for authenticity, occupation, blood type that actually works after activation of an e-mail, meeting the standards card and social security numbers, height, weight, geographic coordinates, make of car, and even your favorite color. You can specify the age and region of the countries supported by the service. The Fake Name Generator service is perfectly adapted to study and test any online services that require detailed user information without entering any real personal data.5. MASK YOUR LOCATIONHowever, even a perfectly filled profile does not guarantee that you will really be considered, for example, an American of Italian origin, selling antique furniture in Paris. If someone has set out to establish where you are actually connecting to from a particular site, then most likely he will succeed. If you do not believe it, then just go to the IP TrackerOnline website and you will see not only your IP address and information about the provider but also the approximate location on the map, including the country and city. Of course, knowledge of the territorial location alone does not reveal your identity, but in combination with other information, including information about your activity on the site, you can get an idea of who you really are.To replace the IP address, you can use the services of numerous free and paid virtual private networks (VPNs), allowing you to create a complete "electronic visibility" of the fact that you are in a completely different country. One of the best free services of this type is CyberGhost 5 , which can work not only on desktop PCs but also on portable devices running Android and iOS. We wrote about some other VPN services recently in the article “ Avoiding Surveillance: 6 Free VPN Services ”, which we invite everyone to familiarize themselves with.If you are seriously concerned about creating the most believable "legend" for a fake person, then your course of action should look something like this. A used laptop is purchased exclusively for cash, and its hard drive is carefully and repeatedly erased with specialized programs. Then a clean Linux distribution and a limited set of strictly selected open-source programs are installed on it. This laptop will be further used only on behalf of a fabricated person so that nothing would indicate its real owner. In addition, you will never have to use this laptop either at home or at work, where it is easy to track its physical address. And, of course, you should not recall this person on any of your “regular” computers. However, if you simply do not want to receive extra spam or you need to "encrypt" from annoying friends on the forum or on the social network, then you just need to use some of the five steps listed by us.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 7.3
 Dhwani Shah
 15 February 2020

Be Don’t Become - In Gita Verse 7.3 Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth. In this verse Krishna says that it is easy to find God as he is inside us but at the same time it is difficult also as we have forgotten, we are searching for him outside. As God is a presence, not a person. Hence all worshipping is sheer stupidity. Prayerfulness is needed, not prayer. There is nobody to pray to; there is no possibility of any dialogue between you and God. Dialogue is possible only between two persons, and God is not a person but a presence – like beauty, like joy.God simply means godliness. It is because of this fact that Buddha denied the existence of God. He wanted to emphasize that God is a quality, an experience – like love. You cannot talk to love, you can live it.One is now and here. In that tranquility, in that calmness, you become aware of a luminous quality to existence. Then the trees and the mountains and the rivers and the people are all surrounded with a subtle aura. They are all radiating life, and it is one life in different forms. The flowering of one existence in millions of forms, in millions of flowers.THIS experience is God. And it is everybody’s birthright, because whether you know it or not you are already part of it. The only possibility is you may not recognize it or you may recognize it. The difference between the enlightened person and the unenlightened person is not of quality – they both are absolutely alike. There is only one small difference: that the enlightened person is aware; he recognizes the ultimate pervading the whole, permeating the whole, vibrating, pulsating. He recognizes the heartbeat of the universe. He recognizes that the universe is not dead, it is alive. This aliveness is God!The unenlightened person is asleep, asleep and full of dreams. Those dreams function as a barrier; they don’t allow him to see the truth of his own reality. And, of course, when you are not even aware of your own reality, how can you be aware of the reality of others? The first experience has to happen within you. Once you have seen the light within you will be able to see it everywhere.God has to be freed from all concepts of personality. Personality is a prison. God has to be freed from any particular form; only then he can have all the forms. He has to be freed from any particular name so that all the names become his. Then a person lives in prayer – he does not pray, he does not go to the temple, to the church. Wherever he sits he is prayerful, whatsoever he is doing is prayerful, and in that prayerfulness he creates his temple. He is always moving with his temple surrounding him. Wherever he sits the place becomes sacred, whatsoever he touches becomes gold. If he is silent then his silence is golden; if he speaks then his song is golden. If he is alone his aloneness is divine; if he relates then his relating is divine. The basic, the most fundamental thing is to be aware of your own innermost core, because that is the secret of the whole existence. That’s where the Upanishads are tremendously important. They don’t talk about a God, they talk about godliness. They don't bother about prayer. their whole emphasis is on meditation.Meditation has two parts: the beginning and the end. The beginning is called dhyana and the end is called samadhi. Dhyana is the seed, samadhi is the flowering. Dhyana means becoming aware of all workings of your mind, all the layers of your mind – your memories, your desires, your thoughts, dreams – becoming aware of all that goes on inside you.Dhyana is awareness, and samadhi is when the awareness has become so deep, so profound, so total that it is like a fire and it consumes the whole mind and all its functionings. It consumes thoughts, desires, ambitions, hopes, dreams. It consumes the whole stuff the mind is full of.Samadhi is the state when awareness is there, but there is nothing to be aware inside you; the witness is there, but there is nothing to be witnessed.Begin with dhyana, with meditation, and end in samadhi, in ecstasy, and you will know what God is.It is not a hypothesis, it is an experience. You have to LIVE it – that is the only way to know it.Krishna is saying if you find difficulty in finding the God that only means you are unconscious of YOURSELF. Be conscious of yourself and God will be there. Don’t run after anything, be with yourself through any path but BE don’t BECOME.
