5 Surprising Things You Are Doing to Sabotage Your Mental Health
 6 September 2019

It is flat out amazing just how potent our daily routines and lifestyle habits are in influencing mental wellness. While we might assume that mental health issues are the direct result of experiencing a traumatic event or chronic stress, in reality, it is our self-sabotaging habits that can spark symptoms of anxiety or depression. The mind-body connection is incredibly tight. When either one of these core aspects of our being are out of kilter a cascading litany of negative effects will impact the quality of our mental health. This means that our focus each day must center on ways to bolster each: our physical wellness and our mental health. We may not give a moment’s thought to our habit of falling asleep while scrolling through Instagram at the wee hours each night or of stubbornly resisting forgiving someone who has wronged us. These and other ordinary daily actions can become potholes to trip us up, preventing us from feeling our very best psychologically. Below are some common behaviors that may contribute to a less-than-ideal mental state.5 Mental Health Saboteurs Sleep deprivation. As enticing as Netflix binging is, by shortchanging our sleep hours we are unwittingly undermining our mental health. The circadian rhythm, or the sleep cycle, is hardwired into our biology. Mess with that and suffer the consequences, including a weaker immune system, depression, irritability, anxiety, heart problems, and more. According to an article published in Neurologic Clinics [Andrew Krystal, M.D], there is increasing acknowledged that sleep problems and mental health disorders involve “bi-directional causality.”While true that many mental health disorders include sleep disturbances as a prominent symptom in diagnostic criteria. According to a recent article by Harvard Medical School, a whopping 50%-80% of patients seeking psychiatric treatment have chronic sleep issues. Emerging clinical evidence is now shining a light on the causal nature of sleep issues on mental health. How do we improve our quality of sleep and boost our mental wellness?Establish a regular sleep schedule, an earlier bedtime has a positive effect on mental health. Aim for a minimum of 7 hours of sleep nightly.Shut down electronics for at least one hour before bedtime.Limit caffeine, avoid caffeinated beverages after 3pmAvoid exercise after 7pmPractice relaxation rituals before bed, such as taking a warm bath, meditating, writing in a journal, practicing gratitude, and sipping chamomile tea.Lack of exercise. Too many Americans lead a sedentary lifestyle. Couple that with a poor diet and it is no wonder that depression and anxiety rates are rising. The mind-body connection dictates that to reach a state of positive mental health, the body needs to move. Regular exercise is a key element for improving not only physical health but also for elevating mood and reducing anxiety.Clinical evidence of the connection between getting regular exercise and achieving optimum mental health is well documented. An article published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry sums up these findings nicely, explaining that physical exertion increases blood circulation to the brain, influencing the HPA-axis and the limbic system, affecting mood, reactivity to stress, memory, and motivation.Activities that will help boost mental health include:WalkingRunningSwimmingCyclingDancingGardeningHikingHolding grudges. You know those icky feelings we may harbor towards another that rattle around in our subconscious? Well, those negative emotions are bad for our mental health. While our stubborn pride may prevent us from letting go of a grievance, it is important to wellbeing that we learn how to move forward instead of ruminating on such negativity.Hanging on to negative feelings is stressful. The roiling emotions caused by festering resentment or anger can lead to anxiety disorders, states an article published in the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavior Assessment. Emotion regulation, posit the authors, is an important strategy for diminishing feelings of fear and emotional reactivity.Try these tips for releasing pent up negative feelings:Practice forgiveness toward those who may have inflicted harm on you. This is not the same as reconciling with them or forgetting the incident but refers to letting go of the attached emotions to the slight through the act of forgiveness.Journaling can help diffuse feelings of resentment or frustration. By jotting the feelings down on paper they lose much of their potency.Start a gratitude journal and list three things per day that you are grateful for. This helps override those other negative emotions with new positive ones.Practice deep breathing exercises or meditation to help release the negativity.Excessive drinking. While an occasional alcoholic beverage is no big deal for most people, a tendency to overindulge can have dramatic negative consequences on mental wellbeing. In fact, substance abuse can stealthily tip into a substance use disorder. When addiction or chemical dependency results, negative life consequences ensue. Those can cause someone to spiral into depression or to acquire an anxiety disorder. The Centers for Disease Control have created guidelines for discerning what is moderate and what is heavy alcohol consumption. These guidelines stipulate that moderate alcohol consumption is limited to one alcoholic drink per day for women and two drinks for men. A “drink” is equivalent to a 5-ounce glass of wine, a 12-ounce beer, or 1.5 ounces of hard liquor.Social Media. Increasingly, social media overuse is being associated with depression and anxiety disorders. Something that at one time was hailed as a fun way to stay in touch with friends and family has morphed into a source of distress for many. Social media is a giant time-sucker, erasing hours of productivity each day in exchange for mind-numbing infinite scrolling. This can lead to loss of sleep, eye strain, poor posture, and symptoms of behavioral addiction. Most concerning is the negative impact social media over-consumption has on mental health. Many people find that viewing the seemingly perfect lives, faces, bodies, wardrobes, etc. posted on social media feeds can leave them feeling depressed and inadequate. Body image issues, cyberbullying, social media shaming, and low self-esteem are very serious consequences that can result in social anxiety, depression, and lead to isolating behaviors.Tips for reducing social media exposure:Give yourself a defined time limit on daily social media use, and stick to it.Stop scrolling social media at least an hour before bedtime.Go on a social media fast and just log out for a month to restore sanity.

Interview With Revathi Raj Iyer
 21 June 2018

Revathi Raj Iyer is a freelance writer, book reviewer, company director, service volunteer and yoga/fitness enthusiast. Professionally qualified as Company Secretary (India & New Zealand) with legal background, she has worked in the corporate field for over a decade. Bombay is her hometown and Baroda her abode after marriage. When she moved to Fiji Islands, she bid adieu to a rewarding career with a multinational to become a full time mum and pursue her twin passions, yoga and writing. She worked as lecturer of Laws at the University of Fiji. Living between NZ and Fiji, she pursued writing and yoga training and continues her passion after moving to India. She lives in Ahmedabad, India and has completed her next book which is a collection of short stories. Her dream is to write books for children.A couple of easy questions to begin with…First off,  What inspired you to write “My Friendship with Yoga”?Physical activity was dominant in my life right from an early age, as a trained classical dancer, which continued until my late twenties. Thereafter it took a back seat, when I became engrossed with my career together with being hands-on mum to a lovely little daughter alongside other demands that needed my attention. However, things changed when we moved to Fiji Islands, and I got back into fitness with intense aerobics and strength training. As destiny would have it, a disciple of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar was deputed to Fiji to introduce this ancient tradition to the people of Fiji. Yoga was at my door step and I embraced it with heartfelt love. I started writing my yoga journal. One fine day, I decided to give a formal structure to my jottings to reach out to a wider audience. As I wrote the book I had no idea of the publishing process, but I was focussed on my goal. “My Friendship with Yoga” thus took shape and was launched on the 10th January, 2017 at the New Delhi World Book Fair. Thanks to Lifi Publications for making this happen! How do you see writing, as a hobby or a passion?I find writing very therapeutic and it also makes me happy. It is passion that drives me to enter that lonely space, which I beautify with words, plot and characters to create a story. Is yoga a way of life or a way to exercise and meditateYoga and meditation are a way of life for a holistic and healthy lifestyle. It is not instant therapy or about perfecting the postures. It is much more than that.  One has to go through a process of learning – patiently and persistently; and observe the changes it brings about in oneself. Please tell us some more about your debut novel?“My Friendship with Yoga” is about my progression from learning under an instructor to achieving confidence in self-practice and sharing my varied experiences with readers. I have presented the complicated aspects of yoga in a lucid style with practical hints so as to cater book lovers of all age groups and skill levels. The book is divided into three parts:Narrative which combines the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of yoga, wherein a selection of topics along with interesting anecdotes have been coveredThe 2nd Part has more than 80 postures with steps to attain these, guidelines, tips, techniques and benefits; keeping in mind yoga enthusiasts, beginners as well as those who have been practising yoga. The 3rd Part consists of the much desired weekly practice schedule written sequentially with clear instructions to enhance one’s practice. What has yoga done for you as a person?Yoga has helped me to deal with a given situation in a pragmatic and dispassionate manner. It has enabled me to let go of the past and negative emotions, be more positive and result-oriented and direct my energies towards my creative pursuit and other commitments. Yoga has certainly helped in making me acknowledge and appreciate the choices I have made so far, and offered me a healthier and more content lifestyle. What sort of research did you do to write this book?I have been reading books on yoga, but “My Friendship with Yoga,” is the outcome of my entire learning process, from the disciple of BKS Iyengar and instructors from the West. My effort was to present the complicated aspects of yoga in simple language that would appeal to readers of all age groups and skill levels. Yoga is not about perfection as different bodies react in a certain way to a certain posture. To that end, my thought process kept evolving during the entire course of my writing. I made several drafts until I was fully satisfied that I had done justice to my work. For each and every asana which has been illustrated in the book, I consciously performed them and wrote down the steps. Every single breath, every movement, position, the sequence had to be accurate. How did you come up with the title of the book “My Friendship with yoga”?It came straight from the heart; in fact I did not falter or ponder over the title. I began writing this book with its title in place. The title was a reminder to simplify yoga and it guided me in writing a user and reader friendly book, which has been appreciated by the reviewers and readers. Fortunately, my publishers were also happy with the title and did not suggest any changes.Besides writing, what else do you do in your free time?Besides writing and reading books; I practice yoga, support my publisher in the promotion of my book, review books for Muse India, handle professional commitment as Director of a company, travel and spend time with my family. I love to bake and cook, and feel delighted when the outcome exceeds my expectations Do you recall the first ever book/novel you read?I don’t recall the title of the first book, but I started off with the Enid Blyton series, followed by Agatha Christie. Were your parents reading enthusiasts who gave you a push to be a reader as a kid?My mum read a lot and I would accompany her to the local lending library. She was not pushy but I gradually picked up the habit and enjoyed those evening walks to the library after school, with my best friend. She will get nostalgic when she reads this! What are your top three favorite books of all time?It is hard to pick just 3, as I have so many favorites. Hmmm….. The Little Prince, Kite Runner, Reluctant Fundamentalist, Namesake…As a new author, what is your favorite part of the writing/ publishing process? Least favorite. My favorite part is the writing itself and working hand-in-glove with the publishers; the book launch being the icing on the cake. My least favorite part is to face rejections without knowing the reason for it, after waiting for months to hear from publishers. What is the main thing you want readers to take away from your book?To understand the pure essence and simplicity of yoga, without feeling intimidated or inadequateAs mentioned in the book, “Yoga is not about perfection. It is a very enjoyable bonding with our body and mind that teaches us to be resilient and patient.”I would like you to share something about yourself with the readers. Something that does not go in the about the author section something that is the real you?I dream a lot and wish that all my dreams came true, hahaha…And finally, A message for aspiring writers?“Rejections are a part of the whole process of being ultimately accepted and acknowledged, as a writer. Please do not give up, no matter what, and pursue your passion, despite the road blocks. Think of the book lovers and connect with them. Write for them and the passion will always be with you.”Thank you. It was really a privilege interviewing you. Hope you enjoyed the interview. Links to buy the book- Amazon.in Amazon.com FlipkartWrite to her at chirminey@gmail.com

Pessimism and negativity in our daily lives
 25 February 2018

How many times have we heard people say ‘be optimistic and positive in life’? I know I have, whenever things have not been going as I expect them to, there will always be someone giving you a little pep talk on being positive. It is human nature to fall prey to negative thoughts and be pessimistic because, we cannot be happy at all times. Things will always not fall in place and there will be times when you need to work harder than you already are.It is at these stressful times that you should ask yourself... do I really let such negative thoughts take over me...yes! Embrace your failures, your insecurities and your pessimistic attitude instead of just running away from it.Pessimism and negativity can take a toll in your life. They make you irritated, agitated, and restless and can even lead to anxiety and depression. Negativity drains you off all your energy and can have a physical setback to your body. Such thoughts not only affect you but also people around you. Who wants to be with someone who is always brooding and is a pessimist?Have that moment of brooding, of being sad, of letting all your negative thoughts getting to you, but know how to come out of it.Once you have had that moment of pessimism, it is time for you to gear up and overcome the setbacks in your life. Let that moment go away and be motivated to get some action going in your life. How can you do away with such negativity in daily life? What are the sources from where you get such negative thoughts? Are they television, music, a colleague at work, social media? Replace these sources with something better and fun.Stop blowing up small or medium sized issues. Exercise regularly or just take a walk outside in the fresh air and you will feel refreshed. Be grateful for the things that you have in life instead of brooding over what you want or do not have.If negative thoughts are still bothering you, let it out. Talk to someone trustworthy, share your feelings and then see how light you feel.Switching to positive thoughts is a conscious decision. You just need to replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. They will energize you, increase your productivity at work and most importantly make you feel happy and content.

THOUGHTS CAN IMAPCT YOU A LOT

THOUGHTSSeptember 5, 2018EditThe uncomplicated definition of thought is a notion, perception or conception of one. Someone so truly said that ,”As a single step footstep will not make a path on the Earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind.To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives!”Yes! The way you think, is the way you become. It is not just the volume of efforts you put in, but also the type of thoughts you possess. The thoughts that you have in your mind, have an intense impact on your behaviour, success, existence and your emotions. The brain stimulates responses in accordance to the gestures it receives. So, if you develop good thoughts, you’ll have a positive impact . For example: Whenever you are struck with any problem ,don’t panic. Just give your brain positive gestures like everything is normal, I can deal with it.Giving such positive gestures prepares the mind and let’s you stay calm.In the same situation, if you express dismay or get thoughts in your mind like,’ I can’t do anything, Everything is done,’ then your mind gets prepared in such a way that you become all the more alarmed and tensed. Although having positive thoughts can’t solve your problem,’but it will atleast give you courage and inspiration to solve it.I don’t want to stress on the point to have positive thoughts but instead I would suggest you people to always have such thoughts that will make your life simpler. Where some thoughts make up your life , some thoughts destruct it.Thoughts come a lot, some help you trot while some cause you rot. One should understand the fine line between positive and negative thoughts. The thought that calm you down are the positive ones and the ones that warm you up are the negative ones. What may be a positive thought for one may not be positive for the other. For instance Getting a change in society in terms of eradicating superstitions may be a positive thought for one but might be a negative thought for the other since he/she might believe that superstitions are necessary!“Positive feel’s wheel heals quickly!” So,Think you are the conqueror, you will become so. Think you own this world , you’ll definitely own one day. Once you just realize the power of your thoughts you will never think a negative thought. The day you change your thoughts, you can change the world. Thus, HAVE STRONG BELIEF, IT PROVIDES YOU RELIEF. SHAPE YOUR THOUGHTS, TO GET RID OF TRAP IN WHICH YOU ARE CAUGHT…….

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.36
 2 August 2019

Choose - In Gita Verse 2.36 Your enemies will describe you in many unkind words and scorn your ability. What could be more painful for you?Krishna says if you decide to drop war and run away from the war - it only means that you are inviting disrespect for yourself. Your enemies will get a chance to enjoy the victory and with unkind words scorn your ability. It will be very painful. History is always written by winners and never by looser. So down the centuries the whole humanity will know you as a coward and fearful instead of your courage and sharp intelligence. We are the creators of our own destiny. Here if Arjuna remains unconscious irrespective of Krishna ‘s total effort then he will be disrespected for centuries. If he wakes up in his self-consciousness then he will be honored for centuries for his Assignment of Universe, Fighting Without Enmity. How we act makes lot of difference. Our this moments act will create our future. There is an intricate relationship between an act and the end result. We always want to have a perfect result for whatever we do, without losing ourselves in the act. Is such an act possible? To understand the fine difference, it is important to examine ‘perfection’ and ‘totality’. Although for many people, perfection is the ultimate goal, it is nothing less than illusion or myth; something which is nonexistent. We are attracted by the very idea of perfection, not realising that it is like a disease which is dangerous and destructive. If not for our obsession with perfection, our action could open the door to a beautiful spiritual journey.Whatever you do, just pour your heart in it, do it with totality. Karma is enjoyable if the heart is involved in it. Then there is no karma and kerta; both melt and become one. That is totality. Perfection is a myth, while totality is reality.Perfection is a goal somewhere in the future while totality is an experience this very moment, in which your act is transformed into meditation and a beautiful prayer descends in your heart. In fact, there is no future reference or goal for totality; only a routine life style albeit soaked in spiritual fragrance. If you do any work or any act with your whole heart, then you are total, then you are walking on the same path which Kabir and Ravidas chose. The whole idea is to ‘be total’ in everything that you are doing. It doesn’t matter what you do, whether you are making clothes like Kabir or shoes like Ravidas, or cooking food or working on a new design for most advanced spacecraft, or cleaning the floor. The job is immaterial. The focus is that doing is with totality, which is the only way to transform the act into meditation and to transform the doing into a beautiful prayer.Krishna is telling Arjuna it is up to you and choose to be conscious or unconscious towards yourself. If you will be unconscious then also it’s your responsibility for the result and if you are conscious then too it is your responsibility towards the result. Right now you have a choice either to act from consciousness or unconscious once you take the step then you lose your freedom. In this moment you are free to choose. When Awareness Comes and the Light Comes, then there Is Freedom - There are three types of freedom:The first type of freedom at least pretends that there is some goal. Even the politician says, ‘We are fighting to be free – from this kind of society, this kind of structure, this kind of politics. We are fighting to be free from this society just to create another society. We are fighting for some goal, some value, some utopia, some ideology.’ Even he has to pretend that, because the negative cannot exist alone; at least the positive has to be talked about. So communism talks about a classless society, utopia, where everything will be beautiful, where paradise will have descended on the earth. It will take infinity, but that goal has to be given. Otherwise people will not fight for a negative freedom. So the negative implies the positive; and vice versa, the positive implies the negative. When you want to become a painter and your parents are not agreeing and your society thinks it is foolish, you have to fight with them. So freedom for will have something to do with freedom from; they both are together. This is the second type of freedom. The real freedom is the third kind, the transcendental freedom. What is that? It is neither from nor for; it is simply freedom. It is just freedom. That is moksha: just freedom. Neither against anybody – it is not a reaction; nor to create some future – there is no goal. One simply enjoys being oneself, for its own sake; it is an end unto itself. And that freedom is love, and that freedom is God. That freedom is nirvana, that freedom is truth. In that freedom you exist in God, God exists in you. Then nothing wrong can ever happen through you. Then your life is virtue. Then your very breathing is meditation. Then you walk and it is poetry. Then you sit silently and it is dance. Then you are a blessing to the world. You are blessed.Krishna is talking about the third type of freedom. Freedom which comes from awareness and light. In that you become capable of liberating yourself and others also. As Arjuna is in the war Krishna is saying that not only will you be liberated but others also who will be killed by you.

Q:Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life. • I have always been the travel kid. So, my education has always been for like three or four years at some place and other three or four years at other places. I spent my nursery education till 4th grade in my village in U.P. after that I started my 5th grade from Kanpur and studied there till 7th grade and then I moved to Ballia and studied there from 8th grade to 10th. then again, I moved here in Odisha and currently doing my (10+2) in Bhubaneswar. This is my second year. Examination have been started, today was my first exam. Hope everything goes well. Q: How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write?   *  I don't know exactly what inspired me to start writing. At that time when I was in Kanpur, I was in 7th grade, a kid’s magazine named "KIDZ HERALD" used to get published. In that magazine a column would contain the written works of kids when I saw that column, I too wanted to publish but I didn't have any written poem or anything of that type. So I, at that time developed a feeling to write. I would copy along the lines of poems given in my books and try to write a poem or write whatever I used to watch on the television, though I never published one in any magazine. I just used to write from then on. It was in the previous year that is 2018 when I started writing on your site.Q: What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? • Scary thoughts, they sometimes make me question that if the course of writing I am considering is good for me or not. Due to this most my stories are still left incomplete. whenever I start writing anything, I get thoughts like will people love my writing? will they like it? would people hate me? I write worst. I can’t write well and many other negative thoughts like this which sometimes makes me stop writing.Q: What is your view about the present-day literary work?  *  I think the present literary work covers a wide aspects within it because today we can write about politics or religions and put our opinions freely without having to suffer through any punishment. years ago writing was censured by religion branches like church or the king and if books were found against them, they used to punish the writer or sent them to exile. but now we are free to write our opinions in our book. the book " Accidental Prime Minister” is a great example.Q: Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? • Yes I do think that emergence of social media has given us writers a new opportunity as  before, we used to write at home and we only  had options to publish our work in Magazines or go to publisher which needed a lot of paperwork. But now it's different, we with the help of free writing  social sites, we can easily just open the app and write whatever we want and also be secured of our literary work to be not stolen by anyone. Also we can get a huge number of readers and their reviews. Q: Please tell us something about your literary work. *  I mostly write poems  in free style cause you know I am very week at following rules. Right now I am also  trying my hands out at Haiku and flash fiction.          Also I am interested in science fiction and was currently writing one, but due to my exams I have taken a total break from literature as a whole.Q: What was your first literary work and how was it published? •  As I have already told before I first started writing what I saw on Television. Like If I used to watch a movie, I used to write it in paper whatever I saw.  So, my first literary work was, I wrote a T. V.  serial which I daily used to watch, and I never published it cause you know copyrights. If you are Talking about first literary work to get published, the it is one of my poem in your Anthology book. Q: How many ways literature can contribute to society in future?• Literature can have a very powerful impact on people reading it in many ways. It can help fight social issues and bring social Change worldwide not only in future but also in present too. we all know that " A pen is mightier than sword".Q: Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?• I want too see myself in the category of Best seller writers. Hope God listens to my wish and I keep doing my  hard work.Q: What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?•  According to me the ways to build community for poets are:-     1. Keeping it local:-Some of the communities which are tightly knit is not just because they share each other's opinion or respect each other ideas or the forms of writing but also because  they know each other by face. I think it will be better to form local poet group from a region where they meet each  once in a week.   2. This is very important point mostly I have seen communities focuses on a particular prose or a form of writing. In such a big community you can't expect everyone to write in same form or style. There are many forms like flash fiction, Haiku ,Tanka etc....Q: What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? • on the basis of of my writing experience. I have always got the fears like will people read my work? Will people like my work? Or thoughts like I write worst (as I already mentioned above) haunts me and makes me hopeless and search for inspiration here and there. So in this regard I want to say look for inspiration inside you. The best inspiration is the self-inspiration. Don’t let these fears hinder your path of writing and if they ever come and haunt just tell them "I know I write best and of course people will read and love my writings." Shoo away your fears, scold them and get to writing.Q: How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror? • Story mirror has been a great platform to support me in this writing job.  Before joining this site I used to write once in week and sometimes weeks ended and I don't used to write don't  get time to write but  then I joined story mirror's 52 weeks  writing challenge, which inspired me to write every weekday and it made me into habit of writing but as of now I am mostly inactive because of my exams, once  they finish I will be back. And I will appreciate and also look for competitions like 30 days writing challenge on this platform which will inspire writers like me to get into the habit of writing daily.Q: Would you like to say something about StoryMirror? • All and all I had a great experience of writing here on this platform. I really appreciate the covers you edit and design and all the hard work you do to keep supporting writers like us to write more and more. I will always be great full to the StoryMirror and it's team to build a writer, an improved writer in me. Here is the link to read my content https://storymirror.com/profile/57wiybay/priya-singh/stories

Myths about Highly Sensitive Personality
 3 March 2018

"You are too sensitive!"The countless times of this review made me to analyze, synthesize and redefine my personality.High sensitivity is a misunderstood trait. As a highly sensitive person (HSP) myself, I’ve felt insecure in the past about my empathic, thoughtful nature. Luckily, society’s perception of sensitivity is changing, thanks in part to the growing acceptanceneuro-diversity—the idea that neurological variation among people is normal. When you think of the most successful person you know, what qualities do they embody? It’s likely you’re wowed by their ingenuity and creative problem-solving skills. Or maybe you’re impressed by their emotional intelligence and ninja-like ability to connect with people. These are just a few qualities of highly sensitive people (or HSPs), who make up about 20 percent of the population. Despite popular belief, sensitive people make great leaders. They’re consistently rated as top performers. HSPs tend to be well-liked by managers and appreciated for their commitment, even if they get on their co-worker’s nerves from time to time. Some of this diverse group of “famous” individuals that — in my opinion — might appropriately belong on the list of those who exhibit the characteristics of high sensitivity would include Scientists: Albert Einstein, Carl Jung and Charles Darwin, Sir Isaac Newton, Thomas Alva Edison  to political leaders: Abraham Lincoln, Harry S. Truman, Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Eleanor Roosevelt and Princess Diana, today’s celebrities: Mandy Moore, Adrien Brody, Glenn Close, Eddie Murphy, Joaquin Phoenix, Nicole Kidman, Kevin Kline, Winona Ryder and Elijah Wood, to name a few Artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Georgia O’Keefe, Picasso, Frida Kahlo and Frank Lloyd Wright, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Neil Young, Jim Morrison.Singer/song writer Jewel in her famous “I’m Sensitive” song, sings: “So please be careful with me, I’m sensitive And I’d like to stay that way. I have this theory, that if we’re told we’re bad Then that’s the only idea we’ll ever have…”Being sensitive is a superpower, but if not managed properly, it can turn into a stumbling block. Navigating the world as a highly sensitive person involves special considerations, as does loving, working, or living with an HSP.1: The Secret Life of a Highly Sensitive Person And why the trait can actually be an advantage: Applying Your Highly Sensitive Strengths HSPs are masters of emotional intelligence. They pick up on subtleties that less sensitive people miss and have a keen ability to read between the lines. Believe it or not, HSPs can be great entrepreneurs and marketers precisely because they tend to be so skilled at building rapport, listening, and empathizing.2. HSPs are conscientious: Details, structure, and organization are their jam. Because they are accustomed to processing a lot of input, they easily come up with plans and solutions for complex problems, which is an invaluable asset. HSPs can also concentrate deeply and adore getting lost in ideas. This make us perfectly positioned for success in an era where deep work matters.3. HSPs are innovative. Some of the world’s best artists include HSPs. Why? Pair heightened sensory processing with a rich inner experience and you have a group of people neurologically wired to create. So, lean into your curiosity, ask questions that rock the status quo, and explore your whims. It’s what separates you from others who are too afraid to think big.4. HSPs are multi-passionate.They care about their work, their relationships, and it shows. HSPs are usually intelligent trailblazers who find ways to uniquely combine their varied interests into satisfying careers that have impact on the world.Thriving as a Sensitive Person Are there downsides to possessing this innate trait? Of course. But with some forethought and intention, they can employ their high sensitivity as their greatest strength. Get more comfortable with feedback. Most highly sensitive people, despite being good communicators, don’t fare well when caught off guard in meetings or presentations. Similarly, one critical comment may shake them for days or weeks. If you’re an HSP, get ready for high-stakes interactions by anticipating questions that may arise. 5. Don’t react—respond.Life doesn’t always go according to script, and as an HSP, you need to hone your resilience skills in response to surprises. To curb panic and emotional flooding, practice putting space between the triggering event and your response to it.6. Be bullish with boundaries. As a highly sensitive person, it’s essential to conserve your energy. You spend the day picking up on the feelings and moods of your peers. If these interactions skew negative, they can leave you feeling drained. Noisy, busy environments (even bad music—yes, seriously) also take a toll on HSPs.Simple shifts can make a big difference. Try getting to the office early so you can have some quiet working time before the hustle and bustle of the day takes holds. I put a 15-to-30-minute buffer between all meetings to ensure I have time to decompress.Managing your energy effectively comes down to creating solid boundaries and paying close attention to the inputs you allow into your life. Limit time with toxic people, be careful about the media you consume, and be bullish about self-care. If you demand a lot from yourself (which most HSPs do), then building in periods for rest and recovery is nonnegotiable.Tips for Loving or Working with an HSP: Highly sensitive people make loyal partners and great leaders, that much we know. But truthfully, loving, living with, or working alongside an HSP isn’t always easy. You can’t (and shouldn’t try) to change them. But you can inspire and support them in simple ways:If you work with an HSP:Keep them in the loop with frequent updates and clear information. HSPs tend to have a high input orientation, so the more they know, the better. When possible, let them prepare. Give them the meeting agenda ahead of time.Focus on coaching instead of criticizing. Details are an HSP strength, so provide ultraspecific steps for improvement.Honor their hunches. Value intuition as part of your HSP’s decision-making process.2. If you love an HSP:Build quiet time and solitude into your shared schedule.Expect insomnia. HSPs sometimes struggle to sleep soundly because they have active minds.Be patient with them during confrontation. If they need space, don’t take it personally.Above all, whether you’re a co-worker, a sibling, or a spouse, try to appreciate the unique set of characteristics an HSP possesses as best you can. There can be a sharp learning curve, but ultimately, you will both see how high sensitivity can shape your worlds for the better.

Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.My Education, in olden days completed up to basic 10th class in a Sultan Bazar Government High School, Hyderabad. Then Two-Year Pre-University Course from Badruka College of Commerce and Management at Hyderabad.  My Graduation in Commerce went in from Osmania University Affiliated College, Badruka College of Commerce & Management, Hyderabad.  I did Diploma in Business Management (DBM) course from a Private Institute. I also did Post Graduate  Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Private Institution.  I did Typewriting Higher Grade and Stenography Higher Grades from then combined Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, Hyderabad. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? My family heredity has Literature blood. By inspiring elders Literary works right from my childhood, I happened to inculcate the habit of literary writings. I have also worked hard to learn good English and Telugu  languages for this purpose, though my mother tongue is Telugu. My Blood has got some Literary Blood Cells Therefore, I am a little-bit fluent in my writings, as I on and off keep my brain thinking always. More so, I don't like to keep idle myself. If I don't write and work each day, I don't get sleep, and I become erratic without work. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? In the initial days, when I was writing literary type of work in especially in English, Readers used to comment about the mistakes. I used to refer to English Dictionary for better words. I used to correct myself with patience. I used to write better words in a bad sentence. I have developed the habit of writing English in Flowery Language, so that people/readers should read my literary work i.e., stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes, so on and so forth. Now  I have become a little bit perfect, as I think myself, and started writing so many things pertaining to literature work.  I am not getting any negative comments for my work. Only I used to get appreciation letters, good comments, and good encouragement and praising notes. I thought I would still contribute more to this World, where Top Level Literary Writers/Authors should Appreciate my works, and my ambition is to have my name in the World Famous Authors/Writers List, as a good Literary Writer, My Ambitions are more and I am working accordingly on daily basis. What is your view about the present day literary work? Present day Literary work is not that of a good Literature work, as evidenced by many Writers works. The standard of English writing is slightly just average. I have observed that my of the Technical and Management Graduates are unable to contribute to literary work, because they are all, to say many  on software line. I observed  that many of the software people never in the habit of writing  articles/stories/songs/literary works, etc. This generation is such.  Only old people used to write good English, as I knew and observed well in my life.  More so, people and writers who are interested to write good literary work, need to get trained from senior mentors and continuously make a habit of writing, as a regular feature in their life. Then only, at once point of time such Literary work could be well recognized. Lest, there are chances of Literary Work getting drowned, due to not having good Writers in the coming generations.  As one knew well, that "Old Water Go, New Water Come".Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Yes definitely. Digital and Social Media Tools/Devices play an important role to create more Writers and thereby more Readers emerge. Social Medial play an important role in shaping good Literary Writers.  Social Media gives good opportunity for Writers to present their Write-ups through few Blogs which facilitate Writers to present their Mind of Writing. Here, below I will give you a brief Article on Social Media:YOUNG AUDIENCE GRAB & CONQUER SOCIAL MEDIAEach minute, the technology is changing in rapid competitive market segment. Every business entrepreneur wants to have an edge over other competitors. Every businessman aspires for quick turn-over on their end products sales proceeds and wants to become a millionaire or a billionaire bypassing the Constitutional working systems, Acts, Rules, Regulations by violating norms & guidelines of the Ministry of Finance and  Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) and  Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)Evolving marketing & advertising strategies are a prerequisite and essential in these competitive days in reaching out to customers and for public acquaintance is one part, while giving quick ads in latest tools and websites like LinkedIn, Face Book, Twitter, Wi-Fi and Internet through which messages, communications, ads, gist or gigs or contents of any subject matter of one’s personal, business or marketing could reach global people in quickest time, that too at no cost. But, whereas, reaching global people through News Papers, TV channels, hoarders, sign boards, pamphlets or through any other old fashioned system of ads looks to be little bit costly, slow and may not reach all the global people/institutions/companies.  It has been constantly and incessantly observed that increasing use of social media in personal, business and marketing fields is seen on a higher side. There is no doubt in this. The younger audience use social media technologies too much that too on daily basis, without which, the day will not pass.INDIA, Land of Opportunities: The younger generation and audience, now-a-days look for quickest communication, quick Return on Investment (ROI) and money rotation to meet their business and personal ends. The days are rolling-out with updated new technologies in the fields of Research & Development, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Software Development, Science & Technology, Sports & Culture, Tourism and Film Industry, Liquor Industry, Steel Industry, Printing Technology, Plastic Industry, Leather Industry, TV-Press-Media-Print, Grain Industry, Food Industry, Wood-Mattress & Furniture Industry, Glass & Crockery Industry, Cosmetic & Perfumes Industry, Prefabricated Building Material Industry.Face Book, LinkedIn, Twitter, Wi-Fi and Internet are the present days’ excellent media through which one can develop, personal, business, marketing & sales and for diversification and expansion of business plans and to establish good contacts with global people/customers/clients.These are equipped with wonderful media presently available for all the young audience, all at free of cost, for exchange of various aspects and for expression of ideas and business programs, which ultimately keep one busy in public eye. Moreover, global people view and use these latest technology tools in their daily life for publicity purposes. These are the present day TOOL TECHNOLOGY being used by billions of people all-over the world.YOUTH FOR NATIONAL INTEGRITYTODAY’S YOUTH – TOMORROW’S LEADERS:Today’s youth of the nation are all tech-savvy, broad-minded and rebellious with vast ideas, who could mobilize people of all religion, caste and creed as the youth of India play a crucial role in promoting communal harmony which will lead to socio-economic constitutional changes in maintaining peace in the country, as the youth are the future leaders of tomorrow. The youth’s education in engineering, medical, pharmacy, bio-technology, automobile engineering, R&D, management and in all fields of study, can mobilize people due to professional understanding in maintaining peace and communal harmony without interfering in issues like caste, creed, religion or ethnicity.Tech-savvy youth spreads the peace, love and communal harmony through social media tools like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp and blogs. Rapid changes took place through media postings then, after the conviction of culprits in December 2012 Delhi rape case issue. Nirbhaya Fund for survivors of gender violence started due to this case. So, the above tools play an important role in bringing about social harmony.Fine Arts play an important role in spreading the message of brotherhood and peace. Also, young authors, writers, poets and artists come together to enlighten people of India about the secularism in Indian Constitution. One can understand the culture at major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, that the youth cares for personal growth based on their talents rather than they do about caste or religion.Youth having good jobs by virtue of their talent, can bring changes on people around them to maintain peace and harmony in the society without any negative mind set on caste, creed or religion. The government has to work with the youth to bring about unity in diversity for the future of nation. Please tell us something about your literary work. : I am in the habit of writing a good number of stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes and other content material needed by various people/institutions for so many ways. Then I wrote one good article, 'SICKNESS IN PUBLIC ENTERPRISES, CAUSES AND CURES", Submitted to the Public Enterprises Board, New Delhi, during l986-87.How many ways literature can contribute to society in future? Literary works can contribute to the Society in future in countless ways. There is no end to literary work.  The future of the World in Particular India, has got lot of Literary Writers and their work would definitely put India Map in the Top of the World in Literary Writings. It will happen in the coming generations.  Now, the world's good literary work is known as British Literature.  Indians have good knowledge in literary works. But, as Indians, we have learnt many of the Literature from British Literature. British Literature is a standard literature and its famous World Wide., as per my knowledge.Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?.My Literary work can go outdated. New Literary works by young blood and new generations would lead the good literature work. It is quite possible that in the next 5 years, the literary world in India, would compete with British Literary work. What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?Community of Poets should be there in each State, and in each Website, including in Social Media.  Each Story Websites in India should have one POETS BLOG, to inter-act with Poets in India especially, directly.  This will be a good proposal. Moreover, the third letter defines how you would make the decision. Thinking vs. Feeling People who spend more timing thinking before taking a decision can easily understand all the opinions of both parties and can come up with the solutions and are firm while taking a stance and analyses the situations properly. Those who can understand and empathize with other situations can develop solutions for success, growth and would rather bring the change than changing people. Such believe in accepting and appreciating the opinions of the parties. Judging vs. Perceiving Those who are the subject of judging often take decisions based on pre-defined standards, take some time out to think about the decision and have a clear idea about the possible outcome and don’t want someone to bring the conflict once resolved. Those who are the subject of perceiving believe on facts, check assumptions, consider negotiation and seek the mediator to reduce the negative results and establish harmony. An individual working in an organization often have one of these four combinations and management has to follow different conflict management styles to handle conflict between different employees of the organization. Students who are writing an assignment on the conflict management can hire help with assignment online from experts.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.28
 13 June 2019

Right Now Is The Goal - In Gita Verse 1.28 Arjuna said: My dear Kṛṣṇa, seeing my friends and relatives present before me in such a fighting spirit, I feel the limbs of my body quivering and my mouth drying up.It’s a good sign that even in Arjuna’s unconsciousness he went to Krishna. He did not turn to Krishna for his Desire. Read carefully this verse - when he says that “seeing my friends and relatives present before me in such a fighting spirit, I feel the limbs of my body quivering and my mouth drying up” - he recognizes his unconsciousness. He turns towards light - Krishna. When we are unconscious we don’t turn to God, light. We definitely go to God and temple for our desire, to fulfill our desire of objective world, but never ask how we can re-establish in our subjectivity.Arjuna was saying that the indication of his fear, body sensation - which he wants to work on. This signifies that he wants to work on his fear, his body quivering, mouth drying up - all this was driving him towards his Unconsciousness. He is becoming unconscious towards his subjectivity, disconnected with Universe. He needed Krishna’s support to re-connected with his subjectivity.Arjuna is not taking all this symptoms as negative or positive but looking how and with whose support he could again reconnect with his subjectivity. There is nothing like negative or positive. Our self-alertness at that moment is playing a key role in our life.Right Now Is The Goal:Buddha has told again and again to his monks, “I don’t say not to be angry. I say while you are angry, be alert.” This is really one of the fundamentals for mutation. “I don’t say not to be angry. I say: while angry, be alert.” Try it. When anger comes, be alert. Look at it. Observe it. Be conscious of it. Don’t be be in a slumber. And the more alert you are, the less anger. In a moment when you are really alert and anger is not - the same energy becomes alertness.Energy is neutral. The same energy becomes anger. The same energy becomes hate. The same energy becomes love. The same energy becomes compassion. The energy is one; these are all expressions. And there are basic situations in which energy can become a particular mood. If you are unalert, energy can become anger, energy can become sex, energy can become violence. If you are alert, it can become - the alertness, awareness, consciousness, doesn’t allow it to move in those grooves. It moves on a different plane - the same energy.Buddha says, “Walk, eat, sit. Whatsoever you do, do, but do fully conscious, mindful, aware that you are doing it.”Once it happened that Buddha was walking and a fly came and sat on his head, on his forehead. He was talking to some monks, so without really paying any attention to the fly, he just waved his hand and the fly left his forehead. Then he became aware that he had done something not fully aware, because his awareness was towards the monks to whom he was talking, so he said to the monks, “Excuse me for a minute.” He closed his eyes and he raised his hand again. The monks were amazed at what he was doing, because now there was no fly. He raised his hand again and waved his hand near the spot where the fly was - it was not there now. He brought his hand back and then he opened his eyes and said, “You can ask now.”But those monks said, “We have forgotten what we were asking. Now we want to ask you what you did. There was no fly - it was there previously - so what did you do?”Buddha said, “I did as I should have done before - fully consciously raising the hand. It was not good of me. Something had been done unconsciously, automatically, robot-like.”Such alertness cannot become anger, such alertness cannot become hate - impossible. In Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.27, it mentions that Arjuna became overwhelmed with compassion and spoke thus.Word compassion says that even in Arjuna’s Unconsciousness fragrance of his consciousness and subjectivity. This verse says that he turned to Krishna for his fear, means - as Buddha says “I don’t say not to be angry. I say while you are angry, be alert.” - Arjuna turning towards Krishna is turning towards his Subjectivity.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.12
 18 September 2019

Gratitude - In Gita Verse 3.12 In charge of the various necessities of life, the demigods, being satisfied by the performance of yajña [sacrifice], will supply all necessities to you. But he who enjoys such gifts without offering them to the demigods in return is certainly a thief. In this verse Krishna takes us further - he talks regarding Karma from Gratitude. In my blog Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.71, Krishna speaks regarding Give Up Desire. Now he says you live with your Needs and not for your Desire. In my blog Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.12, I have wrote the distinction between Need And Desire. The person who lives their life with the needs are capable of dropping their Ego. Unless you Sacrifice your desire and live the life all your needs can be provided. Dropping your desire is dropping your expectation and living into the present moment. Once you drop your desire suddenly you will find that even for the small need which is provided to you, you will be in gratitude.Let’s understand Gratitude from Junnaid’s life incidence. How to live in gratitude.A Sufi master, Junnaid. He was the master of al-Hillaj Mansoor. He had a habit: after each prayer – and Mohammedans pray five times a day – after each prayer he would say to the sky, “Your compassion is great. How beautifully you take care of us, and we don’t deserve it. I don’t even have words to show my gratefulness, but I hope you will understand the unexpressed gratitude of my heart.”They were on a pilgrimage, and it happened that for three days they passed through villages where orthodox Mohammedans would not allow them even to stay in the villages; there was no question of giving them food or water. For three days without food, without water, without sleep, tired, utterly frustrated… The disciples could not believe that this man Junnaid, their master, still goes on saying the same things. Before, it was okay – but still he goes on saying, “You are great, you are compassionate, and I don’t have words to express my gratitude.”On the third evening when he had finished his prayer, his disciples said, “Now it is time for an explanation. For three days we have been hungry, we have not had water, we are thirsty; we have not slept, we have been insulted continually, no place has been given to us, no shelter. At least today you should not say, ‘You are great, you are compassionate.’ For what are you showing your gratitude?”Junnaid laughed. He said, “My trust in existence is unconditional. It is not that I am grateful because existence provides this and that and that. I am – that’s enough. Existence accepts me – that’s enough. And I don’t deserve to be; I have not earned it. Moreover, these three days have been of tremendous beauty because I had an opportunity to watch whether anger would arise in me, and it didn’t arise; whether I would start to feel that God had forsaken me, and the idea did not arise. There has been no difference in my attitude towards existence. My gratitude has not changed, and it has filled me with more gratitude than ever. It was a fire test, and I have come out of it unburned. What more do you want? I will trust existence in my life and I will trust existence in my death. It is my love affair.Recollect from your own life, when you do anything from Enthusiasm, at that time you will not find any kind of negative emotion in you. Why because when you are Enthusiastic your whole focus is on giving and not on receiving. Just because we were not self-alert we could not realize this. In that moment you will find not only that no negative emotion but you will find your heart is full of love, and you will be thankful to everyone in that moment.Remember such incidence from your life and remind yourself again and again. This reminder will slowly spread in all your actions.Krishna in this verse says to Arjuna that unless you live in gratitude you cannot sacrifice your desire or ego, in that moment not align with Universe or demigods. So he says that they cannot be SATISFY. We are much stuck to the words so we go on doing things with our desire to satisfy the Universe or demigods. In the process we will find only frustration and we find that we are cheating ourselves. Just live Enthusiastically and see how you will be in Gratitude. In that Gratitude you will be Giver and not Receiver. Receivers always has a lot of expectation and desire they are greedy and thief. Don’t follow the words but live Enthusiastically and you will find that you can live this verse in your action.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.19
 25 September 2019

Throw Yes And No - In Gita Verse 3.19 Therefore, without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the Supreme.Krishna here explains regarding freedom to act. When you have desire for fruits in your act you will find bondage. You will be suffocating in your action. Because of your desire for the result, fruits.Experience Freedom, Space, and Meaning:Non-attachment gives us the freedom, space, and time to contemplate the true meaning of life, while attachment distracts us from reality. It influences how we perceive and react to our immediate world, since a world of excess leads to a roller coaster of highs and lows. This in turn motivates us to seek out more of those high moments of pleasure. We enter into a hedonistic world of want-fulfilment which creates further wanting in an attempt to bring lasting happiness. There are three kinds of freedom. One is 'freedom from'; that is a negative freedom: freedom from the father, freedom from the mother, freedom from the church, freedom from the society. That is a negative kind of freedom — freedom from — good in the beginning, but that can't be the goal. Once you are free from your parents, what are you going to do? Once you are free from your society then you will be at loss. You will lose all meaning and significance because your whole life had meaning in saying no. Now whom to say no to??This is 'freedom from'. This is not much of a freedom, but better than nothing. The second kind of freedom is 'freedom for'; that is positive freedom. Your interest is not in denying something, rather you want to create something. For example, you want to be a poet, and just because you want to be a poet you have to say no to your parents. But your basic orientation is that you want to be a poet and your parents would like you to be a plumber. "Better be a plumber! That is far more paying, far more economical, far more respectable too. Poet?!People will think you are crazy! And how are you going to live? And how are you going to support your wife and your children? Poetry can't pay!"But if you are for poetry, ready to risk all, this is a higher freedom, better than the first. It is positive freedom — 'freedom for'. Even if you have to live a life of poverty you will be happy, you will be cheerful. Even if you have to chop wood to remain a poet you will be utterly blissful, fulfilled, because you are doing what you wanted to do, you are doing your own thing. This is positive freedom. And then there is a third freedom, the highest; in the East we have called it MOKSHA — the ultimate freedom, which goes beyond both the negative and the positive. First learn saying no, then learn saying yes, and then just forget both, just be. The third freedom is not freedom against something, not for something, but just freedom. One is simply free — no question of going against, no question of going for. 'Freedom from' is political, hence all political revolutions fail — when they succeed. If they don't succeed they can go on hoping, but the moment they succeed they fail, because then they don't know what to do.That happened in the French Revolution, that happened in the Russian Revolution…that happens to every revolution. A political revolution is 'freedom from'. Once the Czar is gone, then you are at a loss: What to do now? Your whole life was devoted to fighting the Czar; you know only one thing, how to fight the Czar. Once the Czar is gone you are at a loss; your whole skill is useless. You will find yourself very empty.  'Freedom for' is artistic, creative, scientific. And 'just freedom' is religious.Just freedom, neither for nor against, NETI NETI, neither this nor that, but pure freedom, just the fragrance of freedom — before you learn, you will have to know the positive one: 'freedom for'.Hence the satsang, Guru, like minded people, commune. It needs creative commune; to be creative in a thousand and one ways. In every possible way everyone are going to be creative, so that you can learn how to say yes to life. When the yes has destroyed your no, both can be thrown away. That is the ultimate in joy, in freedom, in realization.Krishna tells Arjuna be free of yes and no both so you can act without attachments of the fruits. Once you will act from this freedom you are self-realized, Supreme. You will have freedom in your action and not bondage.

Understanding of Behaviors of the Children Who Have Been Abused
 31 May 2019
Art

In the present times, the cases of children's abuse are frequent in the community due to the changes of family values and social problems. This issue is important as it touches many people who have children and want to protect them. To understand behaviors of the children who have been abused one should analyze the psychological factors crucial for them. One can distinguish two kinds of abuse: physical and sexual. Children aging from 3 to 14 years old can undergo sexual and physical abusing. The behaviors of the children depend on the kind of abusing, ethnicity, gender and age. Moreover, verbal and non-verbal languages are the ways of revealing the differences between abused children. This research paper intends to study behaviors of the children who have been abused and analyze the psychological factors.Literature ReviewThere are a great deal of discussion posts towards this topic. Majority would agree that children who have been abused have their patterns of behavior that are characterized by non-verbal gestures. In addition, non-verbal behaviors can be the determinants of physical or sexual abuse that is revealed through interviewing. For example, using such method as interviewing it have been revealed the fact of abusing. Moreover, the participants of interviewing were stressed and depressed when they answered the questions about physical and sexual violence. In addition, indicators of physical disengagement and stress were progressing while positive emotions were decreasing. Consequently, non-verbal behavior can tell a lot about physical and sexual abuse of children. Non-verbal behavior includes gestures, body movement, language intonation, facial expressions and eye contact.Different kinds of physical evidence, photographic evidence, medical evidence and eyewitness are the ways of determining children's sexual abuse. These are independent measures that can provoke the necessary feelings, emotions and patterns of behavior of children who have been abused. One should mention that indicators of sexual abuse are diverse. They can include disclosure, sexual awareness, symptoms associated with trauma, fears, anxiety, mood changes, conduct problems and other behavioral changes. Furthermore, data from interviewing children is related to the negative experience that oppresses them and can lead even to suicide. In addition, there are such children who are offenders and admit their participation in sexual abuse. Consequently, they can also feel similar emotions. It is important to determine who is an offender and who is a victim as children are cunning and can hide information.Sexual abuse is harmful to the mental order of children. Younger children are more eager to tell about their stressful situations rather than teenagers who feel somalization, anxiety and depression. Therefore, interviewing should also correspond to ethnical, gender and age differences of children. Kathleen Ratican insists that shame and guilt can prevent children from being totally sincere during interviewing. Furthermore, one can see sexually abused children through their relationships with other people. In addition, abused children can be aggressive and hostile to those who interviewed them supposing them to be enemies. Facilitating disclosure and treatment approaches for helping sexually abused children.Sexual abuse is shameful, embarrassing and private topic for discuss. Thus, not all children can admit being sexually abused and provide the objectivity of interviewing. The factors that restrict the reliability and sincerity of interviews are gender, age and individual characteristics. However, one should not use such improper methods as reinforcement (rewards, punishments), social influence, asking suggestive questions to get the necessary information. Furthermore, sexually abused girls are opener comparing with boys by providing more details. Children between 4-6 years old can also give more information due to their trust and childish naivete?.Researches underline the importance of choosing techniques for interviewing children in sexual abuse cases. It is evident that after such negative experience children lose trust, therefore, it is important to establish the contact with them and provide friendly atmosphere. First of all, it is crucial to distinguish the kind of abuse, the reasons and consequences of the violent behavior. There are common patterns of behavior of children who have been abused. These are negative feelings, reservation, depression and hostility. To reveal the fact of sexual abuse in young children one should use play therapy, for example, dolls. However, there can be false answers where children can lie about their sexual or violent abuse. It can be related to their mental and psychological disorders or desire to attract attention of the adult people. In conclusion, one should say that interviewing is one of the best ways to understand behaviors of children who were sexually and physically abused. Interviewing should also correspond to ethnical, gender and age differences of children. Verbal and non-verbal languages can reveal the necessary information and provoke feelings related to physical and sexual abuse. Gender and age are the most important factors that influence children's answers during the interview. Disclosure, sexual awareness, symptoms associated with trauma, fears, anxiety, mood changes, conduct problems and other behavior changes refer to the types of behavior. One should say that every person has his/her individual characteristics that make him/her opener or more reserved. Consequently, girls can inform more details while interviewing, as they are too emotional. As to boys, they are more reserved and suspicious. Yet young children are the most sincere and trustworthy.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.68
 2 September 2019

Major Difference - In Gita Verse 2.68 Therefore, O mighty-armed, one whose senses are restrained from their objects is certainly of steady intelligence.Krishna says to Arjuna to wake-up and be aware towards his senses. Don’t fight with your senses but become alert regarding your senses so that you become self-alert, and think from your subjectivity which is without judgement, attachments, self-guilt, etc.Come to your consciousness and from the present moment of awareness act. Being in the present moment only you can use your subjective intelligence, steady intelligence, universal wisdom. What is the Present Moment? The present moment, at best, is a means to an end, a stepping stone to the future, because the future promises fulfillment, the future promises salvation in one form or another. The only problem is the future never comes. Life is always now. Whatever happens, whatever you experience, feel, think, do — it’s always now. It’s all there is. And if you continuously miss the now — resist it, dislike it, try to get away from it, reduce it to a means to an end, then you miss the essence of your life, and you are stuck in a dream world of images, concepts, labels, interpretations, judgments — the conditioned content of your mind that you take to be “yourself.” And so you are disconnected from the fullness of life that is the “suchness” of this moment. When you are out of alignment with what is, you are out of alignment with life. You are struggling to reach a point in the future where there is greater security, aliveness, abundance, love, joy … unaware that those things make up the essence of who you are already. How do you allow it to emerge?Simply by allowing this moment to be as it is. This means to relinquish inner resistance to what is — the suchness of now. This allows life to unfold beautifully. There is no greater spiritual practice than this. What Krishna says to Arjuna is war looks negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.Krishna is telling Arjuna to look at the war from your own intelligence, which is not polluted by objective world but it is realization of self, your wholeness. Once you become whole suddenly you will realize that the war which you feel is negative on the surface, objective world, is new opening into the objective world. Drop your fear and follow your own intelligence. As in the fear you will not be able to connect yourself with your intelligence. Fear is smoke screen to your intelligence.Fear seems to have many causes. Fear of loss, fear of failure, fear of being hurt, and so on, but ultimately all fear is the ego's fear of death, of annihilation. To the ego, death is always just around the corner. In this mind-identified state, fear of death affects every aspect of your life. For example, even such a seemingly trivial and "normal" thing as the compulsive need to be right in an argument and make the other person wrong - defending the mental position with which you have identified - is due to the fear of death. If you identify with a mental position, then if you are wrong, your mind-based sense of self is seriously threatened with annihilation. So you as the ego cannot afford to be wrong. To be wrong is to die. Wars have been fought over this, and countless relationships have broken .Once you have disidentified from your mind, whether you are right or wrong makes no difference to your sense of self at all, so the forcefully compulsive and deeply unconscious need to be right, which is a form of violence, will no longer be there. You can state clearly and firmly how you feel or what you think, but there will be no aggressiveness or defensiveness about it. Your sense of self is then derived from a deeper and truer place within yourself, not from the mind. Watch out for any kind of defensiveness within yourself. What are you defending? An illusory identity, an image in your mind, a fictitious entity. By making this pattern conscious, by witnessing it, you disidentify from it. In the light of your consciousness, the unconscious pattern will then quickly dissolve. This is the end of all arguments and power games, which are so corrosive to relationships. Power over others is weakness disguised as strength. True intelligence is within, and it is available to you now.Krishna tells Arjuna that when you use your intelligence you will not be attacking or defending anyone in this war. This is the major difference, when you use your own intelligence, you are neither attacking nor defending but you will be a vehicle of universe. In that state you will be able to deliver your assignment of universe Fight Without Enmity.
