Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.14
 20 September 2019

Five Elements - In Gita Verse 3.14 All living bodies subsist on food grains, which are produced from rains. Rains are produced by performance of yajña [sacrifice], and yajña is born of prescribed duties. Not by Krishna but our Ayurveda also says that be in gratitude towards all the five elements, space(Ether), earth, water, air and fire. We worship all this five elements for being in our life and taking care of our needs. To nourish our body we need food but grain, food is combination of all the five elements.Krishna says unless we are in gratitude towards five elements and what they are giving to us we will not be doing our prescribed duties.Ayurveda evolved in the meditative minds of seers of truth - the rishis. For thousands of years their teachings were transmitted orally from teacher to disciple, and later they were set down in melodious Sanskrit poetry. Though many of these texts have been lost over time, an abundant body of Ayurvedic knowledge survives.Originating in Cosmic Consciousness, this wisdom was intuitively received in the hearts of the rishis. They perceived that consciousness was energy manifested into the five basic principles or elements. The rishis perceived that in the beginning the world existed in an unmanifested state of consciousness. From that state of unified consciousness. the subtle vibrations of the cosmic soundless sound aum manifested. From that vibration there first appeared the Ether element. This ethereal element then began to move; its subtle movements created the Air, which is Ether in action. The movement of Ether produced friction, and through that friction heat was generated. Particles of heat-energy combined to form intense light and from this light the Fire element manifested. Thus, Ether manifested into Air and it was the same Ether that further manifested into Fire. Through the heat of the Fire, certain ethereal elements dissolved and liquified, manifesting the Water element, and then solidified to form the molecules of Earth. In this way. Ether manifested into the four elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. From Earth, all organic living bodies including those in the vegetable kingdom such as herbs and grains, and those in the animal kingdom. including man, are created. Earth also contains the inorganic substances that comprise the mineral kingdom. Thus, out of the womb of the Five Elements all matter is born. The five basic elements exist in all matter. Water provides the classic example: the solid state of water, ice, is a manifestation of the Earth principle. Latent heat (Fire) in the ice liquifies it, manifesting the Water principle; and then eventually it turns into steam, expressing the Air principle. The steam disappears into Ether, or space. Thus the five basic elements; Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth, are present in one substance. All five originated in the energy issuing from Cosmic Consciousness: all five are present in all matter in the universe. Thus, energy and matter are one.Man as Microcosm.Man is a microcosm of nature and so the five basic elements present in all matter also exist within each individual.Ayurveda regards the human body and its sensory experiences as manifestations of cosmic energy expressed in the five basic elements. The ancient rishis perceived that these elements sprang from pure Cosmic Consciousness. Ayurveda aims to enable each individual to bring his body into a perfect harmonious relationship with that Consciousness.Krishna by saying that unless you live from your subjectivity you will not realise this five element from which our body is made and having expression of cosmic energy.

Cisco CCNA / CCNP Home Lab Tutorial: Cabling Your Access Server
 5 October 2019

A Cisco home lab is an important investigation instrument when you're planning for CCNA and CCNP test achievement. When you've gotten a few switches and switches, you'll rapidly become weary of moving that blue support link each time you need to arrange an alternate gadget. The answer for this issue is acquiring and arranging an entrance server (AS).For those of you new to get to servers, note that these are not white boxes running Microsoft working frameworks. These are Cisco switches that enable you to associate with every one of the switches and switches in your home lab without moving a link. You can physically or legitimately interface with the entrance server and work with every one of your gadgets from that point. When you're valuing access servers, if you don't mind recall that you needn't bother with a costly AS. At this moment on eBay there are get to servers costing up to $5000 - this isn't what you need to purchase. What you're searching for is something like a 2509 or 2511, which is going to run you somewhere in the range of $100 - $200. It's cash very much spent, in light of the fact that once you get an AS, you'll truly think about how you at any point managed without it.The main extra equipment you need is the link that will physically interface your With regards to different switches and switches in your home lab. The link you need is called an octal link, so named in light of the fact that one finish of this link is really eight closures, all ended with a numbered RJ-45 connector. The huge finish of the link will be associated with the AS itself. The link will associate with a port on the AS that will have "async 1-8" legitimately over the physical port. It is this port makes an AS not quite the same as other Cisco switches. When you have your AS and this link, you're prepared to arrange your AS. Interface the link to the as portrayed above, and afterward you will associate one of the RJ-45 connectors to the reassure port of every single one of your switches and switches. Make a point to take note of the number that is on the link itself directly beneath the connector, since that is significant. In the following piece of this home lab instructional exercise, I'll let you know precisely how to design your entrance server for best outcomes, alongside a couple investigating tips.BIMF vce engineE20-405 dumpCRISC Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) cheat sheets250-310 practice examCRT-271 sample testC2090-180 test questionsEHF free testCAT-680 real testTop cert pdf1z0-519 Practice testPMP passing guaranteeJN0-691 Practice Test1z0-066 exam pdf answersCIMA-C03 cert pdfC2180-276 IBM Business Process Manager Express or Standard Edition V8.0 BPM Application Development test questions free156-727-SA exam pdf answers642-373 exam help1z0-066 Oracle Database 12c: Data Guard Administration Jsfiddle flashcardsHPE2-CP13 prepawayHP0-Y52.pdf test questions freeH12-222 test questions77-881 cheat sheetsPass4sure kill examPass4sure free pdf1D0-525 E-Commerce Strategies and Practices certkiller

Industrial Vacuum Cleaners
 18 April 2019

The first motorized vacuum cleaner was made-up in year 1901 byHubert Cecil Booth. These days’ Vacuum cleaners are found in diverse variants designed to meet needs in different sectors. There are household vacuum cleaners, industrial vacuum cleaners, professional vacuum cleaners, wet dry vacuum cleaners, upright vacuum cleaners, backpack vacuum cleaners, vacuum cleaners, continuous duty vacuum cleaners, portable vacuum cleaners, light duty vacuum cleaners, stationary vacuum cleaners, heavy duty vacuum cleaners. Whatever kind of vacuum cleaner it may be but the technology with which it runs remains similar.Technology : A vacuum's suction is caused by a dissimilarity in air pressure. An electric fan lessens the pressure inside the machine. Atmospheric pressure then forces the air through the carpet and inside the nozzle, and so the dust is just simply pushed into the bag.In industrial and commercial sectors vacuum cleaners are mostly divided into the following types :-Wet and Dry Vacuum CleanerContinuous Duty Vacuum CleanerBackpack Vacuum CleanerDry Vacuum CleanerUpright Vacuum CleanerWet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner : A wet & dry vacuum cleaner is used for gathering of dry dust as well as spillages of water or any kind of liquid. Best wet as well as dry vacuum cleaners can hold huge amount of water, oil and other thick fluids from the floors. Some of these vacuum cleaners are used in mixture with single disc floor scrubber to suck oil, grease and other stains that are earlier dislodged by scrubbing action of Floor scrubber.Continuous duty vacuum cleaner : A Continuous duty vacuum cleaner is used for removal of dust for long hours of working. Mostly the vacuum cleaner with brush motor runs on intermittent duties (i.e. from 30 minutes to 4 hrs at a continues stretch depending upon the ambient). Whereas in countries like India where ambient mostly differ between 25 and 45 degree Celsius there vacuum cleaner with brush motor could work for maximum 30 to 45 minutes. Or else if the usage is for more hours then continuous duty vacuum cleaner or turbine vacuum cleaner or side channel blower vacuum cleaner are mainly considered.Backpack Vacuum Cleaner : A backpack vacuum cleaner can be carried onto ones back as well as hip. They are very light weight with a lengthy electric cable (at least 25 meters). These backpack vacuum cleaners are mostly dry vacuum cleaners and perfect for applications in multiplexes, shopping mall, aircraft cleaning and cinema hall.Dry Vacuum Cleaner : A dry vacuum cleaner fulfill the requirements of collecting dry dust from hard floors. It is compact, tiny in size with 6 to 10 ltrs dust capacity and comes along with accessories for different applications.Upright Vacuum Cleaner : An upright vacuum cleaner is commonly meant for sucking dry dust from carpets. Carpets easily get dusty because of the people's continuous movement over it, the dust or sand carried by their shoes stay deep into the piles of the carpets over a period of time. Upright vacuum cleaner has a kind of cylindrical brushes that combs the carpet, loosens the dust and brings up all the dust from the bottom of the pies to the top which is instantly sucked and collected in the container.Price of Vacuum Cleaner depends accordingly. Vacuum cleaner price may differ with the type, and quality of its build. Mostly the inexpensive vacuum cleaners are dry vacuum cleaners that are used for hotels as well as or household, hospitals. Vacuum cleaner with brush motors are mainly used by buyers because of its compact design and inexpensive cost as compared to the turbine or side channel blower type vacuum cleaners.

MCSE Certification - Better Than Novell?
 4 October 2019
Art

In this article we're going to cover the advantages and disadvantages of getting a Microsoft Affirmation instead of getting a Novell accreditation. To begin with, the contentions regarding which systems administration programming is in reality better will no uncertainty continue for whatever length of time that these two organizations are ready to go. The motivation behind this article in not to figure out which framework is better. The intention is to bring up the contrasts between the two in connection to how simple or hard it will be to get an accreditation and hold an occupation. The principal glaring distinction between a Novell accreditation and a MCSE affirmation is the power of the courses required for every confirmation. As was called attention to in a prior article, to get a MCSE one needs to take seven tests, five center tests and two electives. The courses for these tests are long and troublesome. The time allotment, clearly, to get a MCSE is cosmic. Then again to get a Novell CNE confirmation requires just five tests. Two less tests may not appear as though much however considering each course can take you months you're looking at taking about an a large portion of a year off your preparation time. So this should be viewed as when picking between the two.The following thing you have to mull over is simply the working framework. Since a MCSE is a windows based confirmation and Microsoft Windows is practically the most prominent working framework available, that implies you will have more programming composed by outsider merchants made particularly for windows items. So getting a MCSE will make your life significantly simpler in the real workplace since you won't manage the same number of similarity issues as you will on the off chance that you become a Novell CNE and wind up working with NetWare. Do the trick it to state, your life will be a long way from simple with regards to making things work.At that point there are simply the tests. Normally everybody will have their own supposition on this however the general accord is that the Microsoft Tests are simpler in light of the fact that they are managing working frameworks that we are as of now increasingly acquainted with on account of our ordinary working learning of Windows. Novell NetWare isn't as natural and most state that it requires more "learning" than Microsoft. At that point there is the issue of landing your position. The reality of the situation is, more individuals use Microsoft items, less in light of the fact that they are better but since of the tight hold they have available. So finding a new line of work with a MCSE will be significantly simpler than finding a new line of work with a Novell CNE. The primary purpose behind the predominance of Microsoft organizing versus Novell is a result of the document and printing administrations which have consistently been an issue with Novell. On the off chance that you are searching for flawlessness in either case you have a long pause. Both systems administration frameworks have their pluses and minuses. As a systems administration proficient one needs to choose what is most significant when picking which heading to take, usability or simplicity of passing your test.AHM-510 exam helpMB6-895 test questionsGCPM test questionsES0-005 braindumps1z0-554 exam prepACSM001 ACSM Personal Trainer examcollection700-702 pass guaranteed1z0-475 Oracle IT Architecture SOA 2013 Essentials test questions3301 Avaya Aura Contact Center Maintenance and Troubleshooting Jsfiddle exam reviewCPIM-BSCM Master Planning of Resources Seo Audit essay questions7230X real dumps 201970-697 essay questionsFree certkillerPass4sure flashcardsMB2-184 sample test70-762 free practice testTrending mock examHPE0-J57 exam cramDB2 9 Family Fundamentals latest dumps1z0-462 practice testEnterprise Administration Associate 10-4 real dumps 2019M8010-241 premium dumpsA2040-951 Assessment: IBM Lotus Notes Domino 8.5 Application development Update entrance examCFPS test questionsNS0-192 mock exam

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.44
 9 August 2019

Life Is Play - In Gita Verse 2.44 In the minds of those who are too attached to sense enjoyment and material opulence, and who are bewildered by such things, the resolute determination for devotional service to the Supreme Lord does not take place.Krishna is now specifically saying that people who are attached and only stuck to the words of knowledge they will not be growing in consciousness and the universe will not give them any assignment. So drop your attachments, come out of all the knowledge and use your intelligence, see the universal assignment given to you, act on that.In simple words play your role given by the universe.“Jeevan ko aise jiyo jaise wo abhinay hai aur abhinay aise karo jaise wo jeevan hai. Phir tum dono mein safal ho jaoge.” (Live life as if you were playing a role and act as if it’s your life. Then you will succeed in both.)Generally, we live our lives not very consciously. It is lived mechanically and soon becomes dull and boring. This kind of life lacks life, it has no real heartbeat and no real sensitivity. It becomes a drag. People become walking corpses. To transform this so-called life, one needs to energise it constantly with some prana (energy) and live it in a moment-to-moment awareness. Then this very life becomes a pilgrimage of consciousness and a divine grace envelops it. On doing this, one feels very light and playful.Lightness and playfulness are inter-connected. A man who is playful will feel a certain lightness of his being. It comes with a spirit of being egoless. The ego is something very serious. It is too much of identification with the roles that we play in our lives, without the understanding that the role is just a human function. Being a mother, a father is just a role given to us by existence. Being a doctor or a politician is also a role in society. One has to perform with totality but not get too much identified with the roles. The roles keep changing, as all human beings are created by Existence to live a multi-dimensional life. To be identified with only one role of life is to become fixated and imprisoned, while life has so much to offer. Then we don’t see its vastness and remain confined. This is the real misery of human beings. One needs to move from this misery to the mystery of life that surrounds us every moment. If one observes this whole universe one will see it is not serious or miserable – only man is.Have you seen a serious tree. Have you seen a serious bird. Have you seen a serious sunrise. Have you seen a serious starry night. It seems they are all laughing in their own ways, dancing in their own ways. We may not understand it, but there is a subtle feeling that the whole existence is a celebration.”If you dance, the whole existence becomes a dance. It is already a dance. Hindus call it Ras-Leela, God is dancing, and around God the stars and the moon and the sun and the earth and the whole existence. The whole existence is dancing around God. God is Krishna and the whole existence is his gopis. This is the ras that is continuously going on, but one will realise it only when one learns the ways of dance, the language of ecstasy.Krishna tells Arjuna play your role, don’t try to change the universal assignment. Universe will deliver either through you or through others. Pick up the opportunity look from your own intelligence, see the light instead of darkness.Recollect in any movie if the person is not aligned with the director or producer they are changed. Because for them movie and it’s objective needs to be delivered. So Arjuna it is better to surrender to the universe and play your role. Don’t attach any meaning to your role, just deliver, as when you are totally playing your role universe will honor you for your role and actions.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.15
 21 September 2019

Sacrifice Self-Consciousness - In Gita Verse 3.15 Regulated activities are prescribed in the Vedas, and the Vedas are directly manifested from the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Consequently the all-pervading Transcendence is eternally situated in acts of sacrifice.Krishna when use the word Vedas, he means wisdom, which is always moving, flow, dynamic, it is not static, and such work is born from Vedas. Which is created by God. he is not saying Vedas means scriptures.Krishna by saying this he says to Arjuna there is two way you can perform your act, one is self-unconsciously, another is self-consciously. When you act from your self-consciousness your act will be act of Sacrifice. When you act from self-unconsciously your act is not align with universe, it is not Sacrifice. It cannot transcend you. The purpose of Human birth is to transcend, to become self-alert. Because of this everyone goes through different circumstances. As you cannot imitate others for your self-alertness. Only you will know how you can become self-alert. So never wait any circumstances to repeat in your life. Don’t wait that when Anguliman will come I will act like Buddha very compassionate. That day will never come.Krishna tells to Arjuna to become self-alert, transcend your all the energy into compassion. Even if that circumstances is war. Use the war to become self-alert and secome self-alert from that act that will be your sacrifice to the Universe. In my blog Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.14, I wrote about the five elements how they manifested from one to other. Same way through the body we have to transcend our self-unconsciousness to self-consciousness. That is possible only if we respond to the present moment without getting affected by past or future. Just respond to present moment. There is only one sacrifice is needed is self-unconsciousness. It looks paradox but you cannot sacrifice self-unconsciousness. Because it is nothing but darkness. What you can do is bring light of self-consciousness and immediately self-unconsciousness will be no more. This can happen only in utter relaxation. Be relaxed but there is one more danger is when you are relax you tend to move towards your self-unconsciousness. Be alert at time time. That’s what meditation is all about — to become more alert. Live the same life, just change your alertness — make it more intense. Eat the same food, walk the same path, live in the same house, be with the same woman and the children, but be totally different from your inside. Be alert! Walk the same path, but with awareness. If you become aware, suddenly the path is no more the same, because you are no more the same. If you are aware, the same food is not the same, because you are not the same, the same woman is not the same, because you are not the same. Everything changes with your inner change. If somebody changes his within, the without changes totally. My definition of the world is this — you must be living in a deep inner darkness, hence the world. If you light your inner lamp, suddenly the world disappears, and there is only God. The world and the God are not two things but two perceptions of the same energy. If you are unaware, the energy appears to you to be as the world, the sansara; if you are alert, the same energy appears as God. The whole thing depends on your inner awareness or unawareness. That is the only change, the only transformation, the only revolution, that has to be made.If you practice awareness in your routine life, suddenly you will find that you are becoming self-conscious. Your respond to present moment will be from alertness. Then any circumstances will become for you opportunity to transcend self-unconsciousness.Krishna tells Arjuna don’t take vedas word as static word then you will not be transcend your self-unconsciousness to self-consciousness. Veda is your wisdom, your life flow, it’s dynamic force in you. This present moment of yours demands that you transcend self-unconsciousness to self-consciousness through war. Sacrifice everything to respond to this present moment.

Aislin Fall, a poet and photographer
 18 April 2018

StoryMirror interviewed Aislin Fall, a 25 years old maker of things. Writer. Photographer. Poet. Compulsive traveller. Joy Seeker. Knowledge sponge. PNW born and bred. Here is what she has to say.Q. Tell us about you and your background.I guess I was born and then a lot of things happened and I ended up where I am now.I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I was 16 when I started taking photographs using my dad's camera. I was really obsessed with fashion photography for a long time and was always making my friends crawl into bushes and peer from behind blooming branches and once, I made my best friend carry a small wooden giraffe around her neighbourhood. Eventually, I started photographing models in the suburbs and beautiful landscapes wearing lots of different clothes. Eventually, I stopped photographing models anywhere. These past few years, I've become more drawn to taking pictures that document life as I see it, which usually fits in the category of travel and portrait photography with a tinge of adventure and lifestyle. I still shoot fashion sometimes but it's not my main focus.Photoshop came before photography for me and by the time I picked up my first camera, I was already dabbling in graphic design and photomanipulation. I fell in love with retouching as I transitioned into fashion photography and I worked as a retoucher for a few years. I don't retouch professionally any longer. I like being outside more than I like being on a computer these days.Travel has been the dominant force in my life for the past four years, although I did travel a lot with my family while growing up. I am usually in a state of going somewhere. I haven't had a "home" for more than a few months in a long time.Q. What is your life's greatest passion? What inspires you? I think life itself is my greatest passion—life and all the things it encompasses. The swell and swoon and pull and press of existence. The miracle of existing at all. The hope is to be as fully present and here in this moment. It's strange how something so simple can be so hard sometimes! How easy to get lost in your head—to stop listening to footfall of passing strangers, trills of birds, pulse of water. So my greatest passion is life and from there, everything else flows. I have been a maker ever since I was little—drawing, writing, forming stories—and the process of creating is a huge passion of mine. Nowadays, it takes the shape of photography and poetry. I grew up travelling the west coast of North America with my family and in my 20s, I've spent a lot of time on the road in Canada, USA, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Travelling is definitely one of the other great loves of my life. But they are all so wound together. Photography, writing, travelling—they're all giant pieces of this life of mine. They're how I think and feel and experience. Life gives me inspiration and then I take that and make these things with it.Life inspires me, the world inspires me, relationships inspire me, art inspires me, emotions inspire me, light inspires me. Since I'm mostly photographing my life as I experience it, I just look for moments.Q. Take us through your work. I shoot people and places. I catch real moments and pull them through my perspective until they feel like me. I get my fingerprints on everything. I'm not one of those photographers who doesn't like to modify things (though if you are, that's fine). I see things as malleable. I love Photoshop. My work is me; my work is my life. It's the fleeting instant that I got my fingers around. It's a record of where I've been and what I've felt. The roads I've walked down, the people I've loved, the sunrises I've seen, the glimmers of light that took my breath away. It's travel or landscape or documentary or lifestyle or portrait or whatever.WhistlerUSATessTasmaniaTasmaniaSydneyScotlandPortoMaiteIrelandIrelandIrelandhowthhollandCanadaBeeAusAthensAthensQ. Can you share with us a 'behind-the-scene' memory of yours that has stood out the most? Back in October, at the beginning of this last backpacking trip in Europe, I went to the Acropolis in Athens for sunrise. I watched the twinkle of dawn wash over the ancient streets of the city and observed the quiet blue of night transform into brilliant, shining light. It was one of those times when you look around at your life and feel all the decisions that brought there to that specific, remarkable, precious point. A blink of overwhelming gratitude.During the day, Acropolis is a swarming beehive of human beings. There are so many people. But when the gates first open in the morning—right before the sun rises, it's nearly empty. There were only two or three other people there when I watched the dawn awaken the city. It was so private and personal, witnessing the sun crest over the mountains, pull the shadows long and far over the ruins.Q. Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of?I have been to 25 countries in 25 years, and while that's not a "career" oriented "achievement," it's a personal achievement. I'm immensely proud of this life that I've carved for myself. I have seen so much and it's truly shaped me.Q. What is your life's philosophy?Love and interconnectivity. Be kind and compassionate towards everything—other humans, animals, the planet, yourself. We are all so tied together. Our actions matter.Q. If you could give a message to all the 20 year olds of the world, what would it be?Be patient. Remember that you are not your emotions. Gratitude is the key. Emotions are passing clouds in the sky—they are things that you experience but they are not your identity so don't be consumed by them or think that they're your truth. Patience because all things take time and it's really hard to really know who you are or what you want at 20. It's important to give yourself room to grow and discover and make mistakes. I view the 20s as being a massive opportunity for learning. Training your mind to practice gratitude has the potential to change everything.Q. How do you want to see yourself 5 years from now?Happy and fulfilled, though that's the aim for every single day and not the destination. I'd like to be sustaining an income from my photography and writing, and still engaged in creative projects that excite me. I hope to have more of a "home" in five years but still travelling a lot with at least another ten new countries checked off my list!Check out her website, blog and instagram.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.28
 13 June 2019

Right Now Is The Goal - In Gita Verse 1.28 Arjuna said: My dear Kṛṣṇa, seeing my friends and relatives present before me in such a fighting spirit, I feel the limbs of my body quivering and my mouth drying up.It’s a good sign that even in Arjuna’s unconsciousness he went to Krishna. He did not turn to Krishna for his Desire. Read carefully this verse - when he says that “seeing my friends and relatives present before me in such a fighting spirit, I feel the limbs of my body quivering and my mouth drying up” - he recognizes his unconsciousness. He turns towards light - Krishna. When we are unconscious we don’t turn to God, light. We definitely go to God and temple for our desire, to fulfill our desire of objective world, but never ask how we can re-establish in our subjectivity.Arjuna was saying that the indication of his fear, body sensation - which he wants to work on. This signifies that he wants to work on his fear, his body quivering, mouth drying up - all this was driving him towards his Unconsciousness. He is becoming unconscious towards his subjectivity, disconnected with Universe. He needed Krishna’s support to re-connected with his subjectivity.Arjuna is not taking all this symptoms as negative or positive but looking how and with whose support he could again reconnect with his subjectivity. There is nothing like negative or positive. Our self-alertness at that moment is playing a key role in our life.Right Now Is The Goal:Buddha has told again and again to his monks, “I don’t say not to be angry. I say while you are angry, be alert.” This is really one of the fundamentals for mutation. “I don’t say not to be angry. I say: while angry, be alert.” Try it. When anger comes, be alert. Look at it. Observe it. Be conscious of it. Don’t be be in a slumber. And the more alert you are, the less anger. In a moment when you are really alert and anger is not - the same energy becomes alertness.Energy is neutral. The same energy becomes anger. The same energy becomes hate. The same energy becomes love. The same energy becomes compassion. The energy is one; these are all expressions. And there are basic situations in which energy can become a particular mood. If you are unalert, energy can become anger, energy can become sex, energy can become violence. If you are alert, it can become - the alertness, awareness, consciousness, doesn’t allow it to move in those grooves. It moves on a different plane - the same energy.Buddha says, “Walk, eat, sit. Whatsoever you do, do, but do fully conscious, mindful, aware that you are doing it.”Once it happened that Buddha was walking and a fly came and sat on his head, on his forehead. He was talking to some monks, so without really paying any attention to the fly, he just waved his hand and the fly left his forehead. Then he became aware that he had done something not fully aware, because his awareness was towards the monks to whom he was talking, so he said to the monks, “Excuse me for a minute.” He closed his eyes and he raised his hand again. The monks were amazed at what he was doing, because now there was no fly. He raised his hand again and waved his hand near the spot where the fly was - it was not there now. He brought his hand back and then he opened his eyes and said, “You can ask now.”But those monks said, “We have forgotten what we were asking. Now we want to ask you what you did. There was no fly - it was there previously - so what did you do?”Buddha said, “I did as I should have done before - fully consciously raising the hand. It was not good of me. Something had been done unconsciously, automatically, robot-like.”Such alertness cannot become anger, such alertness cannot become hate - impossible. In Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.27, it mentions that Arjuna became overwhelmed with compassion and spoke thus.Word compassion says that even in Arjuna’s Unconsciousness fragrance of his consciousness and subjectivity. This verse says that he turned to Krishna for his fear, means - as Buddha says “I don’t say not to be angry. I say while you are angry, be alert.” - Arjuna turning towards Krishna is turning towards his Subjectivity.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 3.8
 14 September 2019

Prescribed Duty - In Gita Verse 3.8 Perform your prescribed duty, for doing so is better than not working. One cannot even maintain one’s physical body without work.Krishna now very specifically says to Arjuna, you act on your universal assignment. Fight Without Enmity. If you can fight this war and perform your prescribed duty of universal assignment then you will understand what I am saying. To maintain our body we need to work, if we stop working then our body will not be able to function.God not only to Arjuna but to everyone of us has given opportunity to act and simultaneously become self-aware. Overnight we will not realize what assignment we have got from God. Like when we enter the school they don’t say that you will become an economist, engineer, doctor, architech, etc. They just start with alphabets with everyone. Once you start studying you will know what further study you want to do. But that need certain time. Our Karma Yoga, means from our routine work starts. When we are walking are we self-alert, when we are taking a bath are we self-alert? Most of the time we are thinking either for the future or the past but never the time we are self-alert, self-alert means we are not aware of the sensations happening during that act in our body. As if some kind of current is passing through the space inside of our body. This is the alphabet of self-alert. As this practice will increase suddenly you will find that you are become aware of your third dimension, witnessing consciousness of yours.Once you become familiar with your witnessing consciousness, slowly you will get the direction exactly like what you want to study more from alphabat, you will know direction and will be able to follow the universal wisdom for your action. From this you will know what is your universal assignment. Why it is said that we need to pass through so many birth, because as we start becoming familiar and act through that universal wisdom it takes so much time. Like you cannot become graduate overnight. Same way you will not realize your universal self, emptiness, witnessing consciousness overnight, it will take its own time.Witnessing:Meditation starts by being separate from the mind, by being a witness. That is the only way of separating yourself from anything. If you are looking at the light, naturally one thing is certain: you are not the light, you are the one who is looking at it. If you are watching the flowers, one thing is certain: you are not the flower, you are the watcher.Watching is the key of meditation:Watch your mind.Don't do anything – no repetition of mantra, no repetition of the name of god – just watch whatever the mind is doing. Don't disturb it, don't prevent it, don't repress it; don't do anything at all on your part. You just be a watcher, and the miracle of watching is meditation. As you watch, slowly mind becomes empty of thoughts; but you are not falling asleep, you are becoming more alert, more aware. As the mind becomes completely empty, your whole energy becomes aflame of awakening. This flame is the result of meditation. So you can say meditation is another name of watching, witnessing, observing – without any judgment, without any evaluation. Just by watching, you immediately get out of the mind.Whatever Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and other people like him are doing is good, but they are calling something meditation which is not. That's where they are leading people astray. If they had remained sincere and authentic and told people that this will give you mental health, physical health, a more relaxed life, a more peaceful existence, it would have been right. But once they started calling it 'transcendental meditation' they have raised a very trivial thing to an ultimate significance which it cannot fulfill. People have been in transcendental meditation for years, and in the East, for thousands of years. But that has not become their self-knowing, and that has not made them Gautam Buddhas. If you want to understand exactly what meditation is, Gautam Buddha is the first man to come to its right, exact definition – that is witnessing.Krishna tells Arjuna perform your prescribed duty - Universal Assignment - instead of running away. Even your body also will survive only when it is in action. Become Witness to whole war and perform your duty by Fighting Without Enmity.

Book Review -Kansa Book One of The Killer Trilogy
 13 April 2018

Book Review: Kansa (Book 1 - The Killer Trilogy) by Prassant KevinSo, after a very disappointing start to February with Keepers of Kalachakra, I decided to pick this one up for a bit of light read. I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review and I would try my best to be as honest as possible. I chose this book for the sole reason that it did not promise any cheesy romance that Indian authors churn these days and the blurb provided quite an interesting read about a serial killer. Did the book live up to the expectation? Here is my take on it.Blurb (From Amazon):Over a span of ten years, he killed forty pregnant women and then vanished without a trace. After five years of silence, he is back again, seeking his next victim. Only one man can stop him - Professor Black. Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer's house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer 'Kansa,' who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. She appealed to her department to bring back Professor Black to help her catch the killer. The Professor, who had a haunting past that had kept him away from the world of crime and investigation for several years, was not willing to take on this case. But the ACP managed to convince him to get on board just for this one last time. Soon after agreeing to help, the Professor realized that for the first time in his life, he had met his match. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed. My Take on the Book:Imagine you are being provided a box of Bertie Bott's every flavor bean recommended by a friend and as soon as you take the first bite, you get a bad flavor. The same case happened with me while I was reading this book. Within the first 10 pages of the book, you realize the book was more of an essay rather than a thriller that was expected. Even though the plot was quite promising and had a huge potential, the book just did not live up to the expectation. What promised to be a brilliant plot falls flat due to bad editing, concurrent plot holes and inconsistency in characters. I could count almost three characters whose names changes in the course of the plot due to either spelling errors or the author took the liberty to change the name of the characters which were a synonym to the original name. What I would have preferred was if the author had taken the approach of a more dialogue-oriented story which would have added more clarity and thrill to the novel.Coming down to the characters, except for the main protagonist, none of the characters make any impact on the story. To avoid revealing any spoilers, I would just say, none of the characters did match up to their qualifications that were boasted in the book. Also, at many places, the main character would easily get his hands on things that are generally not quite accessible at many places and that added a few weird expressions on my face. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and since I have been talking quite negative about this book, let's also talk about some positives. Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the plot does seem promising and if the author ties up some of the loopholes, the novel works quite well. Also, since it is the first of the trilogy, there is a vast room for improvement in his future novels. The main protagonist does seem to be larger than life currently, but if this can be handled in future novels, it could just add to the betterment of the character and the novels. So go for it, if you want to read something interesting but where you don't have to put too much of your thinking cap on it. Also, for a person who is a fan of Bollywood Masala movies, this won't be a letdown. My Rating: 1/2 out of 5 (Hoping against hope, that the shortcomings are taken care in future novels)Book in Three Words: Thrilling. Glitched. Exaggerated.murtu.kool@gmail.com

Increasing Extramarital affair
 6 April 2019

Indian society is giving women the liberty to be sexually active. After hearing of multipartners and wife swapping, the new flavour of the season is of Indian wives dating other men.The syndrome which has become really hip and popular today is ‘my wife’s boyfriend.’ Women today have come out of the four walls of the house and have started experimenting with their sex lives. For many years, the issue of extramarital affairs was thought to be a “woman’s issue” – that is, women dealing with their husbands’ affairs.Today, while large numbers of husbands are still having affairs, there has been a significant increase in the number of Indian wives having affairs.A recent survey done on contemporary marriages by the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai, has brought to light the fact that there is a rise in extramarital affairs, and couples know and accept their partner’s paramours. But the most surprising finding is that more and more married women are looking for love or rather fun outside marriage. With the work place and the Internet, overscheduled lives and inattentive husbands – it’s no wonder more Indian women are looking for comfort in the arms of another man.Women interact with men more at work. They go for more meetings, take more business trips and presumably participate more in flirtatious water-cooler chatter. These light or intensive flirtations whatever the women opts for give them a self-esteem boost during work hours and don’t rock the boat at home.Gone are the days when cuckolding was a social taboo. Today globalization has spawned an almost experimental outlook towards sex.In an age where porn has hit the streets openly, women today do not hesitate to break the ‘humdrum’ of their lives by experimenting with their sex lives and this experimentation is no longer a man’s prerogative. Today wives are acting on the urge more than ever. With husbands pursuing demanding careers and having no time for the home, or for that matter sex, it has led to wives looking for adventure outside marriage.Husbands are also aware of it, because they know that they cannot give them the time. The neglect of their personal life by husbands has led to women becoming desperate for attention and they don’t mind flaunting their boyfriends.Often we want to hold on to relationships because we do not want to get out of our comfort zone. Even if the marriage is not healthy, we tend to hold on to it for various reasons.Whether through an open relationship or just a fantasy, looking elsewhere is not the root cause of trouble in relationships. Instead it’s the fact that we crave adventure in our humdrum lives and most marriages fail to provide that. Many women say that an affair outside marriage has changed their lives for better because they feel desirable in the arms of somebody else.In addition, when women break out from a truly committed relationship and run free, the question is not what they are running towards, but rather what is it they are running from.In this situation looking for love elsewhere tends to be a life pattern triggered by fears (of commitment, of being loved, of waking up with the same person every morning).Over the years, though the institution of marriage is still alive, there is a sea of change in the relationship between husband and wife. People these days look more for financial security than emotional.“The love and care is definitely there, but passion definitely dies away with years. From having sex once a week, they have sex one a month or may not even for months together. It is high time we accept the fact that everybody needs variety in their sex life,” says Devyani Rao, a stylist with a leading lifestyle magazine. In Indian society, people generally have marriages of convenience. According to Mumbai based psychologist, Dr. Varkha Chulani, “This condition of wives having affairs generally arises in 80 percent of marriages today because there is very little communication with each other. For most women, an inattentive husband is the biggest problem, and husbands too have accepted this situation because they refuse to go through the tedious process of divorce.”While the woman is on the lookout for love outside marriage, she is definitely in no mood to leave her husband. She just wants to have her share of fun.For women who have been married for many years and for whom the whole life is about taking care of their kids and their house life definitely becomes very monotonous for them. It becomes natural for them to look for love outside marriage, just to spice up their life. There are several reasons that men accept this arrangement. Firstly, they don’t want to go through the legal hassle of divorce.Second, after spending so many years of togetherness they get used to each other and just knowingly shut their eyes. Third, it gives the man a green signal to have fun with other women.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.29
 26 July 2019

AUM - In Gita Verse 2.29 Some look on the soul as amazing, some describe him as amazing, and some hear of him as amazing, while others, even after hearing about him, cannot understand him at all.Krishna says that person when becomes silent at that time suddenly and amazingly either he will see light or hear sound. But most of them become amazing and could not understand. This is the experience from where everything is created and everything is merging back into it.Krishna is reminding Arjuna to become silent so that he can hear universal sound, Aum. Once he will either hear or see the light he will understand the mystery of life. Mystery of birth and death. Krishna tells Arjuna that you are right now uncertain, doubtful. Be like that.A man of uncertainty, a man who is not decisive is in sanshaya – in doubt. This is not against trust because trust is to have trust in somebody. This is against self-confidence; you don’t trust in yourself. That’s a different thing. So whatsoever you do, you are not certain whether you want to do it or don’t want to do it, whether it will be good to go into it or not...an indecisiveness. With an indecisive mind, you cannot enter on the path...not on the path of Patanjali. You have to be decisive. You have to take a decision. Difficult it is because a part of you always goes on saying no. Then how to take the decision? Think about as much as you can; give it as much time as you can. Think of all the possibilities, all the alternatives and then decide. And once you decide, then drop all doubt. Before that, use it: do whatsoever you can do with a doubt. Think of all the possibilities and then choose. Of course it is not going to be a total decision; in the beginning it is not possible. It will be a major decision; the majority of your mind will say yes. Once you decide, then never doubt. The doubt will raise its head. You simply say, “I have decided – finished. It is not a total decision; all doubts are not discarded. But whatsoever could be done, I have done. I have thought it out as completely as it was possible and I have chosen.”Once you choose then never give doubt again any cooperation, because doubt exists in you through your cooperation. You go on giving energy to it, and again and again you start thinking about it. Then an indecisiveness is created. Indecisiveness is a very bad state of affairs; you are in a very bad shape. If you cannot decide anything, how can you do? How can you act?How can Aum – the sound and the meditation – help? It helps, because once you become silent, peaceful, decision becomes easier. Then you are no longer a crowd, not a chaos: many voices talking together and you don’t know which voice is yours. Through Aum, the chanting, the meditating on it, voices become silent. Many voices – now you can see they are not yours. Your mother is speaking, your father is speaking, your brothers, your teachers: they are not yours. You can discard them easily because they don’t need any attention. When you become silent with the chanting of Aum, you are sheltered, calm, quiet, collected. In that connectedness you can see which is the real voice which is coming from you, which is authentic.Be careful. How will Aum help you to be careful? It will drop hypnosis. In fact, if you simply chant Aum without meditating, it will also become a hypnosis: that is the difference between the ordinary chanting of a mantra and Patanjali’s way. Chant it and remain aware. If you chant Aum and remain aware, this Aum and its chanting will become a de-hypnotizing force. It will destroy all the hypnosis that exists around you, that has been created in you by the society and the manipulators, politicians. It will be a de-hypnotization.Once in America, somebody asked Vivekananda, “What is the difference between ordinary hypnosis and your chanting of Aum?”He said, “The chanting of Aum is a dehypnosis: it is moving in the reverse gear.” The process seems to be the same but the gear is in reverse. And how it becomes reverse? If you are meditating also, then by and by you become so silent and so aware, so careful, that nobody can hypnotize you. Now you are beyond the reach of priests and politicians – the prisoners. Now, for the first time, you are an individual, and then you become careful. Then you move with care, take each step with care because millions are the pitfalls all around you.

Who is Hindu?
 18 March 2018

This question comes into my mind when every time I see comment by various Hindus claiming that they are Hindu. As a theology student, I believe that there is something which is not unique in definition as they say. Few common answer, I am referring below:-1. I am born as a Hindu, that is why I am Hindu.2. I do Poojas and follow customs of Hindu community, that is why I am Hindu.3. I am Indian and Hindus are synonyms to Indian.4. I follow Gurus and read Sastras so I am Hindu. But I find that these all answer is not complete and not comprehended all aspect of being Hindu. Irrespective of many customs, Sastras, and Philosophy we still have not a single definition. But after studying the texts, I come into a common ground for this question.I would like to confine it five points or five pillars of being Hindu.1. Anyone who thinks Vedas as Authentic (not authoritative) texts for knowledge and foundation of customs is Hindu.2. Anyone who believes in four basic principles of Vedas and Upanishads: Karm faal, Purusartha, Reincarnation, and Dharma is Hindu.3. Anyone who believes that his basic philosophy is Veda, Vedanta, Agama, Siddhanta or Sagama is Hindu (I am not including Puran).4. Anyone who believes that Bharat (From Himalayas to Kanyakumari and Burma to Afganistan) is the cradle of Dharma and Humanity is Hindu.5. Anyone who believes that Reading, discussing, spreading and seeking the Vedas and Vedic meaning is his ultimate goal of being Dharmic is a Hindu. In more short ways"Anyone who considers Vedas as Authentic texts, believes in the principle of Vedas and follow the philosophy evolve from Vedas is Hindu with the compulsory duty of reading and seeking the meaning of universe for spreading the light of truth"
