Bhagavad Gita Verse 6.39
 Dhwani Shah
 4 February 2020

Own Temple - In Gita Verse 6.36 This is my doubt, O Kṛṣṇa, and I ask You to dispel it completely. But for You, no one is to be found who can destroy this doubt.Arjuna requested Krishna to dispel his doubts completely as he thinks that something is wrong with doubt. There is nothing wrong in doubt. Only thing we need to learn how to use it.Everything depends on right use. So when you go to the world, use doubt; when you enter into your own temple, use trust. Be loose and free so that when you go from the world to own temple you don’t carry the world around with you. Then you can enter own temple totally free of the world — you can pray, dance, sing. And when you move towards the world again, leave the temple behind, because dancing in the world will be very absurd — you may destroy things.Bringing the serious face that you use in the world to own temple won’t be appropriate. Own temple is a celebration; a world is a search. Search has to be serious; a celebration is a play. You delight in it, you become children again. Own temple is a place to become children again and again, so you never lose touch with your original source. In the lab you are an adult; in the temple you are a child. And Jesus says, “The kingdom of God is for those who are like children.”In my Bhagavad Gita Verse 4.40, blog I wrote Nothing is wrong in doubt, don’t be worried about it. Use it well, use it in the right way. If you use it in the right way and use it well, you will come to an understanding: you will come to a doubt of doubt itself. You will see - you will become doubtful of doubt. The mind lives on these doubts. The mind says, “Who knows? This man may be deceiving me. Maybe he is not deceiving, but he himself may be deceived. He may be hallucinating about ecstasy, samadhi – just dreaming, believing. Maybe he has auto-hypnotized himself or maybe he is just a fraud deceiving others, exploiting their gullibility.” The mind will create all these questions, thousands of questions. Questions arise in the mind like leaves grow on trees; the mind goes on growing many, many questions every moment. No answer is of any help. Out of every answer, the mind will create many more questions. It’s natural to feel doubt. If there is no doubt, there is no growth either. The more you are full of doubt and still go on the journey; that makes the difference. The stupid person, the imbecile, the idiot may not feel any doubts, he may simply believe, but he is not going on any adventure. He cannot understand what adventure is. He is just accidental, he is at the mercy of the winds. But the intelligent person is bound to feel doubt. In spite of the doubt, one has to go; that’s how life is. Aes dhammo sanantano – this is the law of life. In spite of all the doubts, one has to go.Do you think the people who have tried to reach Everest were not full of doubt? For a hundred years, how many people tried and how many people have lost their lives? Do you know how many people never came back? Not even their dead bodies came back; they got lost, lost forever. But, still, a few courageous people went on and on.Don’t listen to the mind because the mind means the past; it is dead, already dead and gone. It is non-existential. It is only the footprints of the events that are no more. The mind knows nothing of the present, it cannot know of the present. It hasn’t any capacity to commune with the present because the present is always unknown. You cannot reduce it to the past. The fear of the mind is that the moment you encounter the present you have to be spontaneous, and the mind becomes useless. The mind has to be put aside. And that is the moment where meditation starts happening. To remain confined to the known is to be in the mind; to allow the unknown to enter your being is the beginning of meditation, the beginning of Zen. The present can be approached only through no-mind. If you have any conclusions, you are still carrying the past; conclusions come from the past, prejudices come from the past. You have to put aside everything you have known. You have to look into the present in a state of not-knowing. The mind will tremble – let it tremble. Let it die out of trembling. Don’t listen to it.The mind will create many doubts. That’s why you say “…there are doubts…” It is natural, the mind will create many doubts. The mind will say, “You are perfectly happy, you are perfectly comfortable. Why are you risking? For what? You may lose even that which you have, and not gain anything. Don’t risk!” The mind teaches you to be calculative, to be cautious. When Arjuna tells Krishna - I ask You to dispel it completely. But for You, no one is to be found who can destroy this doubt - he was following the mind. He did not want to take responsibility for his act. So he is asking Krishna to destroy his doubts. Which Krishna cannot do it. Only thing Krishna can do is he can guide him for various practice by which Arjuna can transcend his doubt. He can enter into his own temple with Trust. Your own temple is your interiority.

Belief

As humans we tend to believe in something that is comfortable to us.Even as the child born will immediately start feeling comfortable in the arms of the mother whom the child might not even as the mother because as the child grows ,only then this awareness about relationships becomes evident.Similarly as humans we too have beliefs about an unknown power that we believe is our protector albeit the religion we belong to, albeit the name of the gods and goddesses that we believe in as per our comfort and confidence.I am a very religious person and since childhood this has been my nature. As an adult too I have been a regular visitor at temples, performing rituals that give a pleasant feel to me even though of late people think I am little bit obsessed about the same. Now let me share some experiences that I cherish even today. This was year 1992 .I had a dream in the early morning about a temple and remember a priest of the temple who was guiding me to enter the temple premises .All this in the dream. So I just forgot about this dream and got on with my routine as I was into my pregnancy and needed a lot of rest and care. After a few days of this dream ,I was on an evening walk as it is required ,I happened to pass in front of a bungalow which was well painted and decorated and could hear some melodious bhajans from inside. Now that was something that I could not ignore and walk away.Out of curiosity I just peeped in the house as the doors were open and many people were seated in front of an idol and we're chanting bhajans, now this was the turning point of my religious journey so to say.,the idol that I saw looked similar to what I had seen in my early morning dream. This was unbelievable and amazing. That idol was of the great Shirdi Sai Baba.i had not heard about the temple nor any details of the place where the temple was and is located.i just sat down and was spellbound and you can understand the reason for this. Then myself and my mother enquired and gathered all details about the same and came home.i was at my maternal home due to my pregnancy and informed about this dream and experiences to my husband on phone.Throughout my pregnancy I attended all the bhajans regularly. My entire family ,my husband and children have visited Shirdi many times and our belief is becoming more stronger with time.

Cloud Of Cherry-Bloom . . .

Cloud of cherry-bloom . . .tolling twilightbell . . . TempleUeno? Asakura? When you are silent, you are in middle, like twilight. Person who is in total silent can hear universal sound.Sit in the silence of the night and listen to it. This sound of stillness is very close to the ego. When Omkar begins to sound within you, at first you will hear only the sound of stillness: its echo is like the chirping of a cricket in the silent night. You can hear it all day long, anywhere - in the market, at the office, in the shop. The resonance is everywhere. It may be faint or seem to get lost in the noise of the marketplace, but it is very much there. Once you grasp it you will recognize it more and more often. All day long there is a festival of melodies at his door.Whoever has known him has called him satchitanand - truth, consciousness and bliss. When a person is filled with joy he is filled with song. Joy and song are so close. Except in films no one sings in sorrow; tears flow, not song. Whatever you do in moments of happiness will be filled with song; even if tears flow it will have the tinkle of music in it. In your sitting and standing, in your gait, in your very breath, music will play; your heartbeats will lend rhythm to your song. Truly music is his door, for within resides the supreme bliss.Ultimately the music stops, for it is only a door; once you pass through it the music stops. A moment comes when your music becomes a hindrance. Then only his music sounds. Infinite melodies play within you, but you have no music of your own; you are like an empty house. Our temples are designed for sound to reverberate inside, their construction based on it. The temple is always absolutely empty. This signifies the ultimate state of a seeker; it is a symbol. When the Omkar sounds, we shall be empty within - absolutely empty. A bell is hung at the temple door; whoever comes first rings the bell, for the nada is at the door. These are all symbols. No one should enter the temple through that door of doors without ringing the bell, for only through the sound itself can you enter. The uniqueness of a bell is that it keeps resounding long after you ring it, so the resonance keeps sounding as you enter the main entrance. In that sound alone is the key to your entry into the temple.Through the sound, as it were, you enter into God’s abode. The temple is a symbol of God’s dwelling. When it is sounding constantly you need not ring the bell, but we have formulated a method with the symbol. When you return from the temple ring the bell again. You have to journey back amidst the reverberating sound. All worship, all prayers start with the ringing of the bell.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 10.31
 Dhwani Shah
 12 June 2020

Ultimate Freedom - In Gita Verse 10.31 Of purifiers I am the wind, of the wielders of weapons I am Rāma, of fishes I am the shark, and of flowing rivers I am the Ganges.Krishna’s this verse says that freedom is only religion. Ultimate religion. The Prophet is a unique book by Kahlil Gibran. In it a person asks, “Speak to us of love.” And the hero of this book, Almustafa, answers, “Love each other, but don’t possess each other. Be near each other, but not too near. You should be like the pillars of a temple which hold up the same roof and yet remain far from each other. If the pillars of the temple come nearer, then the roof will fall down. Keep a little distance from your lover so that there can be some free space between you two. If this empty space is completely lost then you will be trespassing on each other, attacking each other.”But all these things are written in books. In real life we take away all the freedom from the person we love because we are afraid that his love may turn somewhere else: “Somebody else may become the possessor of my love.” We are always afraid of losing whatever we have. If we have money, then we are afraid of losing money. If we have love, then we are afraid of losing love. Because of this fear, freedom becomes impossible. The flower of freedom blossoms only in a state of fearlessness. The only yearning one has is for freedom. Everyone’s inner search is for liberation.Wherever you get this freedom, you will be overjoyed. Whenever you feel bondage, you will become sad. If you are sad, then the reason is very clear: you wanted freedom but got chains; you wanted the sky but ended up in a prison; you wanted wings for flying but even your feet were cut off; you wanted ultimate freedom and you staked and lost everything you had for it. There is no chance of getting what you hoped for. That is why you are sad.The meaning of the word God can only be moksha. That is why the great enlightened people have not used the word God. Mahavira talks about moksha and not about God because there are many illusions connected to the word God, and even the word itself has created prisons. Buddha also talks about nirvana and not about God because even the word God has created new bondages – of being a Hindu, a Muslim or a Christian. A Hindu is tied down to being a Hindu, a Mohammedan is tied down to being a Mohammedan. Somebody is tied to a temple and somebody is tied to a mosque.Religion is the ultimate freedom. That is why there cannot be any temple or mosque of religion. The day you become really religious, you will see the divine in the temple as well as in the mosque. Then sometimes you will pray in the temple and sometimes in the mosque. Actually, there will be no need for you to go to the temple or the mosque; you will be able to see the divine in your own house, you will see it everywhere. You can understand this last sutra of Shankara only if you keep in mind that religion is the ultimate freedom.Dropping sex, anger, greed and attachment, meditate upon yourself.Sex, anger, greed and attachment, these are the four bondages which keep your moksha, your freedom, suppressed. The base of all these four is sex. Because sex creates attachment, attachment creates greed, and anger is born toward the person who creates an obstacle to the greed. The basic disease is sex.You must understand the meaning of sex. The meaning of sex is the hope of getting happiness from the other. Sex means “my happiness is outside myself.” And meditation means “my happiness is within me.”Krishna says - The journey will become very easy if you understand these two definitions properly. The meaning of sex is: “My happiness is outside of me, in someone else; if the other gives, then I can get it. I cannot find happiness alone. It is miserable to be alone, and it is a pleasure to be in the company of the other.” That is why you don’t want to be alone. You are afraid to be alone. You feel uncomfortable when you are alone even for a short time. As soon as you are alone you start throwing all types of garbage into yourself. You start reading the newspaper all over again – you don’t mind if you have read the same paper three or four times! Or you switch on the radio so that there can be some noise to save you from being alone. Or you play cards or you run to a hotel or a club – anywhere, anyhow. But only the person who has tasted meditation can sit idle. The person who knows and lives as his happiness is within him, he has experienced ultimate freedom.

General Power of Attorney in Pakistan To Sell:Nazia Law Associates in Lahore is an expert regarding the general power of attorney in Pakistan to sell properties. A general power of attorney in Pakistan to sell, mortgage, or pledge property implies the power to borrow money on mortgages on the principal's account and to create an equitable mortgage by deposit of title deeds, but not to sign promissory note executed. A power of attorney in Pakistan must be construed strictly and unless an express power is given to an agent to enter into contracts of guarantee on behalf of his principal or to execute negotiable instruments for his principal jointly with others the person alleging such power must show that the agent had the power to enter into the transaction. Power to prefer appeal: Where in a printed form of the power of attorney in Pakistan, the clause authorizing an advocate to file an appeal has been struck off by the client; it does not mean that the said power has been taken away from him if it otherwise existed. It only means that the power was not expressly given. The power to prefer an appeal to the High Court must be liberally interpreted and it must be held that it includes the power to prefer petition for revision.  Law For Proceeding And Means For Recover The Debts:Where a general power of attorney in Pakistan confers upon a person authorized to do the acts enumerated below i.e. to take and use all lawful proceedings and means for recovering and receiving debts and advances and also to commence and prosecute and to defend at law all actions, suits, claims, demands, and disputes.  It was that the powers are wide and comprehensive enough to include the power to prefer an appeal.  Revocation of power of attorney in Pakistan: Where a power of attorney was given to the plaintiffs to recover all sums due to the grantor of the power under a contract with the defendants for doing certain work and under which the defendants are to pay the plaintiffs only after the production of the power which is to remain in force till the completion of the work under the contract it was held that:--  The defendant's agent was not justified in making payments to the grantor of the power after production of it by the plaintiffs to the defendants even though the grantor revoked the power afterward while the work was being done.Appointment of attorney cannot be revoked by a deter to the attorney.  Power to manage temple affairs: In the case of temples, a trustee can hardly claim the right to borrow as a matter of course. His right to borrow will arise only in cases of financial necessity, and he will have to use his discretion whether even in such circumstances he should borrow or not. It cannot be assumed, in the absence of words to that effect, that by executing a power of attorney in Pakistan to a person to manage the temple affairs by collecting the debts and amounts due to the temple and meeting the necessary expenses, that the trustee authorized the manager to bind the temple by borrowing.  Powers of Attorney are to be construed strictly.

It is a paradise for trekkers, offering one of the finest trekking opportunities in the world. Not to forget for bird lovers as well who spend days camping in the heart of this park. For not only an escape from the overcrowded city life, but also an escape from the more-crowded Himachali getaways, it doesn’t get much better than Tirthan. As already made known that this is a very offbeat destination, least frequented ad ideal for the solitude seekers, hardcore adventurers, and those who just want to do nothing and just be around. Not a very talked-about destination so the only way to express the charms of the nature here is through images that will tempt you to just go for it.Things To DoRiver CrossingRiver crossing in the Tirthan Valley is an adventure sport for people who are looking for some adrenaline rush in the quiet valley. A person is tied to a safety harness and slides from one point to the other, with the turbulent River Tirthan gushing underneath. The icy cold spray of the river while taking on the sport, sure is a motivating factor for enthusiastsTrekking In The Great Himalayan National ParkThe Great Himalayan National Park is a blessing in disguise for nature lovers. Whatever you may opt for, this place does promise a wonderful experience and equally amazing trip.Serloskar LakeSerloskar Lake, another major attraction of the village is located about 5 km from Jalori Pass. The lake has clear water which remains so despite of several leaves falling in to it.The place is better known for its temple devoted to Goddess Budhi Nagin. It is believed that the Goddess has hundred sons and acts as a guardian of the place. The walk to the lake is equally enchanting from Jalori pass, with thick cover of oak trees.Jalori PassNestled in the peaks of northern Himalayas lies the Jalori mountain pass, an undiscovered beauty located between the prominent towns of Kullu and Shimla. Perhaps one would recognise it better as the snow-covered summit in the Bollywood film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", where actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are seen trekking through the mountainside. With scenic views of the snow-capped Himalayan landscape and the fresh mountain air to surround you, the hike through Jalori Pass has much to offer with exquisite flowers, birds and the environment for a surreal experience. At a height of 10,800 feet above sea level, the trail through this mountain pass is relatively untouched as a tourist attraction, possibly due to the hype surrounding the roads to reach this pass. And it is completely justified.Great Himalayan National ParkGreat Himalayan National Park is one of India's national parks, located in the Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh.
