Being honest, I crave for the dark chocolates but you feel shilly-shally when you are not familiar with the one who is sitting next to you. I was too engrossed in the song that I didn't even notice her. I took a small amount of chocolate from hers and thanked for the same. She smiled back and said its okay.

o deal with the aftermath of a relationship, unforgettable and impossible in equal parts, I started to look for a book with the hope I mentioned, to find my story in its pages, only to be torn between two Booker winning masterpieces. Coetze's 'Disgrace' and Flanagan's ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’.
The publishing industry has been existing for generations now, persistently giving out several optimum reads of the world. India's 'book bazaar' is counted among the largest in the world. The approach of publishing has developed from the traditional scrolls to the new era digital ink.
Adult (A) : Say there are two kids in the world. You and your friend. Noone else exists.Kid (K): Ok.A: You produce apples and your friend produces oranges. Since you love oranges and your friend love apples, you make a deal that every month your friend will give you 100 oranges in return for 100 apples. This is called barter system - you give me some goods or services and your friend pays you back in terms of goods and services. This practices remained for some time until there was some natural calamity in your area and you failed to produce sufficient apples for a month. But you wanted oranges. You went to your friend's place and asked for oranges.K: But why would he give me anything, when he knew that I couldn't keep my promises.A: Correct. So he made a deal. He gave you some paper, which had some agreement that you would pay him back oranges that he was lending to you. The agreement was made with the assumption that, you were an honest guy and you would keep your promises and when you had apples, you would return him back. Exchange of goods in this format gave birth to a new concept called "Money". In economic terms, it is called 'Fiat economy'- where goods are exchanged for something which cannot have a direct utility. Money has utility only when it is exchanged. Until now you had the need for oranges only. But say, you desired for pineapple, strawberries etc. and there are few more players in the market who are exchanging those fruits by issuing different paper notes. This kind of practice gives rise to the 'global currencies' where the value of each currency is different from rest of the world.C: But won't the value of each currency be same in a fair world?A: Yes, in an ideal world, the value of each currency or fiat money should be same. But here comes the complex scenario which is driven by power and greed. Every player in the market wants to get more by paying less. So your apple might not be as appealing to someone as it appeals to other and you end up paying more apples for same goods and services you get from others. C: Why would I pay more when I can get it at a fair price from someone else?A: The fair price is driven by market perception about certain goods and services. Since more players are in the market, more perception prevails. Good, bad and ugly are differentiated by perceptions only.C: Who controls perceptions?A: Good question. The dominant and powerful player in the market controls the perception. By influencing others he will make others realize that his goods or services are better than others and hence demand more value in return.C: But tell me how USD influenced the market to be the dominant player and hence more powerful in the currency market.A: Before world war I, every country was trying to influence other countries to become the dominant player in the market. During that time, Theodore Roosevelt influenced the neighboring countries to follow USD as foreign exchange currency rather than gold, which was used until that period of time. Some notable examples can be read in the history of Cuba, Venezuela, Santo Domingo and panama. America had been engaged in producing arms by that time and was supplying to foreign countries including united kingdom.During world war 1, America gave some good number of arms to United Kingdom, who was under financial crisis and was dependent upon its' ruling countries like India and some south-east Asian countries to generate sufficient money to afford luxury the Britishers were accustomed to. During the financial crisis of world war I, United Kingdom took arms from US trough a negotiation or deal known as Liberty Bond, which amounted to over $20 billon, which would be much more than what is America's current national economy at the moment.C: You mean UK was knowing they cannot pay back the loan, but they were still keen on taking the arms from US to fight against other countries and in that case Americans were keen on giving some loans which they were confident that it could not be repaid.A: Power to control others and the greed to have more are biggest vices of the human being. The then political strategists of America were thinking much beyond their time - at least 50 years ahead of time. UK sooner became an ally in America's endeavor to have USD as global currency post world war II. But acceptance by few countries does not make a currency truly global.C: What happened next?A: After world war II, America was perceived as the super power of the world. Thanks to some scientist who could not visualize the impact of atom bomb before inventing them. Every country was agreeing to a global bank known as World Bank and fund of funds known as International monetary fund. The duty of both entities were to ensure fair market practices in the globe. However influence of US continued and they changed the exchange methods from gold transactions to US dollar. There were a lot of factors which were either manipulated or done strategically to get it done.C: I understand dollar became global currency, but why it became more powerful than Indian rupees.A: Once you have the control of global currency, you can manipulate that in your favor. I will go back to that apple and orange examples. Now that your apple is purchased by US, who has certain criteria of selection of apples to know the fair price of apples. After careful observations, it is declared that your 100 apples are actually 50 apples worth as per US standard. You have two choices - either you don't sell apple or sell in the different market. Say in such scenarios, you don't have the sufficiently big market to sell your apples and you know that if you fail to sell in US, you might lose more money. You don't bargain much and accept the negotiations done by them. When everyone started accepting the terms defined by them, the power of dollar became more. I hope that answers your question.C: Can it never be reversed. I mean INR becomes more powerful than USD?A: Yes, logically possible, for that India as a country has to think ahead of time and the strategist and policymaker make the country self-dependent and more job opportunity is created internally rather than dependent upon foreign resources. Many of the natural resources are under-utilized in India so as the human capital. If that is oriented in right manner, then time is not far we see the reverse action. India needs to be technologically sound and the education system should teach how to be innovative and creative rather than just compete to score marks. I strongly believe, your generations can do.C: Yes, we will. Thank you for the answer.
We have been growing up watching our country always standing at the receiving end, almost all the time as a receiver of grants, funds given by the ‘developed countries’. India is always highlighted as a growing and developing country, in various debates and discussions and we must appreciate the efforts of the foreign & other outside investors for investing in our country & to co-operate us in a major way. But, in this entire process, we forget our potentials, acumen, strength, and abilities to stand apart to be equipped enough to make our country a developed country. It pinches a lot when for getting funds, the true and dismal picture of our country gets Instagrammed and much twitting about us in the international forums & many security facts gets leaked in the name of information and database sharing. But now, we can say it confidently that ‘yes’, we can be “Independently Independent Country”. India is much more prepared for the successful implementation of Skill development and Make in India programs. At the other side, the governance rules, regulations, and policies are on the progressive lines, one of them being Corporate Social Responsibility provisions in the Companies Act.It is a matter of fact that the new provisions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Companies Act will increase the level of CSR giving in India and therefore opportunities to improve social indicators. Everything has come up with a perfect timing as a complete package or as a bonanza. While our economy is heading towards manufacturing and services sectors, it’s high-time to look forward and seeing the demand that we can create for more skilled manpower. We have a varied of skill sets that can be explored to cater skill needs of different sectors. There is a wide range of skills that can be picked up, honed & nurtured for meeting the big gaps in the skilling sectors. There are so many sectors and sub-sectors like retail, Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication, IT-ITeS, Media, Healthcare, gems & jewelry, Telecom, Electronics and hardware, BFSI, Beauty and wellness and many more new and upcoming sectors that needs special skilling attention to create a more potential workforce. The big CSR giants are going to play the significant roles in revamping and reorganizing our economy. A concrete PPP mode of implementation is the need of the hour and the CSR contribution towards Skill India and Make in India can yield huge success. At the same time, women based skill development programmes will give it an extra mileage towards achieving women empowerment along with revenue generation and economic enhancement. On this Women’s Day it should be added to the work agenda of the CSR projects and then it will be the best Women’s Day gift to the poor, downtrodden and all the struggling women and above all to the society. Skilling initiatives can ensure the employability among the youths, women and it can produce more skilled manpower to cater the need of various sectors, and it can create more entrepreneurs, sociopreneurs, and more job creations and can face-lift our country’s economy. We can use the metaphor that India will be a “What not skill store” or “A-Z skill Hub” and it will create scope for different countries to expand their business, there will be more trade and commerce with different parts of the globe which will expand our economic horizon. Skilling Initiatives can make maximum utilization of the human resources, proper skill development training can be imparted to physically challenged, people having conflict with law or the jail inmates, unemployed youths, women etc. so that they can be productive for the society and can be independent as well as can contribute towards country’s economic growth. But it’s impossible without the CSR participation. Since “International Women’s Day” is ahead, on this occasion and to make it more meaningful, CSR, Skill India and Make India campaign should take “Women Empowerment” as a mission and all these things should be combined together for a dynamic social change.Skill Development and Startups initiatives can be linked together for a better output as the youths are taking startups as alternatives to the employment. It can facilitate the job creation or employment generation process in our country by attracting the investors, funders. Our existing companies and industries should go ahead with more expansion ideas and facilities so that they can absorb more and more skilled manpower both towards revenue generation and job creation. Similarly, new companies, industries must come up with new ventures to make the “Make in India Campaign” a huge success. Attitude is the next priority and we must come out of the traditional pattern of skill development initiatives and why only some handpicked sectors, we must be very open to accept and create new sectors & new areas of skilling must be explored and taken up. It will help us to go ahead in the race of development, it will be the hub of economy, our money will be circulated and retained within our country and it will move in a spiral process. It will create more scope for economic growth, our people will be employed, our people will be able to earn more, pay more, spend more, there will be true socio-economic development. A day will come when our NGOs will be self-sustainable by creating their own funding, our Investors will be invited to international forums for investment in those countries, in the same manner, we are trying to draw the attention of the external investors. We will be called the citizens of such a powerful, developed and economically empowered country India.
I love, love, love watching crime shows and love more Nordic noir and the temperamental detective, where the moods are as erratic and dark as the plot. Here is a list of a few I watched over the last year which has strong female leads. A few of them are incredibly edge of the seat with a fantastic plot and cast to execute them. And thankfully, the women at the center are not seeking or falling in love with the nearest good-looking man as a respite from (and sometimes at the cost of) their detective duties. They are middle-aged with children or are single and unapologetic about it, much flawed and human, yet brilliant and unwavering in their goal. Check them out and let me know others. This genre, I wish, would grow in multitudes1.The Fall: Gillian Anderson returns to the small screen as Stella Gibson and how brilliant is she? We know both the hunted and the hunter in this slow, moody, psychological thriller and yet, the cat and mouse game is less than predictable. The plot: when a Belfast murder remains unsolved, Stella Gibson (Anderson) is brought in to catch the killer. DSI Gibson soon fears that a murder spree is underway in Belfast and a killer is on the loose. An equally brilliant Jamie Dornan plays serial killer Paul Spector whose identity is known within a few minutes of the first episode, but hey, watch it and tell me if that makes it any less exciting.2. The Killing: Who killed Rosie Larsen (and other questions answered). The Killing is based on the Danish television series Forbrydelsen (The Crime) and stars Detective Sarah Linden and her loyal love-to-hate-you-hate-to-love-you sidekick Stephen Holder (I admit, I fell a bit in love with the damaged piece that was him by the end of it). Each episode ends with a cliffhanger that points of a possible killer who doesn’t turn out to be the one in the next (but of course!). In essence, the show follows the investigation of the murder of local teenager Rosie Larsen but is intertwined with others: the police investigation into the murder, the Larsen family's attempts to deal with their grief, and the fluctuating electoral fortunes of a political campaign that becomes embroiled in the case.3. Happy Valley: Oh, how much do I LOVE BBC’s crime productions? There are five on this list (barring The Killing) and I say without hesitation they have mastered the art (or science or what have you). Happy Valley is set in the Calder Valley and Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) plays a strong-willed police sergeant, still coming to terms with the suicide of her daughter, Becky, eight years earlier. She is now bringing up Becky's young son, Ryan, the product of rape. Catherine hears that Tommy Lee Royce, the man responsible for the brutal rape that impregnated Becky and drove her to suicide shortly after Ryan was born, is out of prison after serving eight years for drug charges. Catherine becomes obsessed with finding Royce, unaware that he is involved in the kidnapping of a young girl—Ann Gallagher. Things get worse as the kidnappers try to hide their tracks and Catherine grows neurotically persistent.4. Vera: Based on the Vera Stanhope novels by bestselling author Ann Cleeves, Vera (starring Brenda Blethyn in the titular role) is an employee of the fictional Northumberland and City Police. She is obsessive about her work and driven by her own demons. She plods along in a constantly disheveled state but has a calculating mind, and despite her irascible personality, she cares deeply about her work and comrades (-- from Wikipedia). Everything about her screams motherly and cantankerous, yet she is a formidable force to watch. And you will grow very fond of her by the end of it.5. The Honourable Woman: Not a detective series this but I couldn’t help adding it to the list. THW is a political spy thriller which is so nail-bitingly good, you have to watch now. It features Maggie Gyllenhaal in the title role (isn’t that the new, happy trend: small screen revival projects for the out-of-work or fading big screen stars?). She won a Golden Globe for it. Totally deserved, may I add? Gyllenhaal plays Anglo-Jewish businesswoman Nessa Stein who eight years earlier became the new head of the Stein Group after her brother abruptly stepped down. As she continues her work to maintain the Middle East peace process, old secrets come to the fore and bodies pile up. The stakes are raised high when Kasim, the son of Atika, Nessa's friend as well as Ephram Stein's Palestinian housekeeper, is kidnapped.6. Top of the Lake: Okay, to be honest, this is not one of my favorites. I thought the plot fell a bit flat towards the end. But the characters and the settings are quirky and unique and the whimsical style of storytelling reasons enough to watch. The drama stars Elizabeth Moss (someone I admired in Mad Men and will, till the end of life, know as Peggy Olson). She plays Detective Robin Griffin, a Sydney police officer returning to her remote New Zealand hometown of Laketop, facing the crimes surrounding the pregnancy and disappearance of a local 12-year-old girl, Tui.7. Spiral (Engrenages): Another one to add to the list is the French BBC Drama - Spiral: Engrenages - broadcast on Canal+. It stars two powerful female characters: a quirky, obsessed, but brilliant female Police Captain Laure Berthaud, and a ruthless, corrupt and beautiful female lawyer Joséphine Karlsson, both caring less about the many feathers they ruffle. These female characters are primary to the plot and rarely was their gender invoked in relation to their job role or position of power. This feminist observation apart, the 12 part series is gripping: the characters etched out in great detail (I felt for each of them in their individual disasters and triumphs), their relationships and challenges realistic, and the three subplots cleverly executed and tied together. A minor quibble was the need to look at the subtitles constantly, but I swear by end of it I could speak a little bit of French myself.8. Marcella: Err... another British television crime noir detective series. Yeah, mea culpa, but I do like them so much! They are astonishingly atmospheric—a trait I look for in everything I read or watch—the cast and setting need to grow on me. The series stars Anna Friel as Marcella Backland, a former London detective who is asked to return to work to investigate an unsolved case from eleven years ago involving an unidentified serial killer who appears to have become active again. What I love best is she is un-coplike, almost vulnerable and thus, very relatable. Series 2 started airing in Feb, 2018 and I can’t wait for it to come to Netflix.Homeland and House of Cards are the other two wildly popular series with strong female leads. Might I also dare add Game of Thrones season 6? Finally, we have women sailing to conquer worlds and play both the hero and the villain. We have come a long way.But you know what else I wish for now? That the victims of these murders are not women! YES, let’s write a book or make a TV series where the victims of the serial killer is not a WOMAN? Yes, yes, please? I know, we make a pretty picture no matter what, but let’s not have any more cowering and whimpering. Just for a change.About the writer: Smita Bhattacharya is an author based out of Mumbai. She has a particular soft spot for psychological thriller novels and TV series. Her latest novel, Dead to Them, was released in January 2018 and is currently garnering rave reviews. Her other two books, He Knew a Firefly and Vengeful, have ranked among the top 100 Asian Literature & Fiction on Amazon. Several of her short stories have appeared in Indian and international publications over the years, making her a very happy person indeed. More about her at: www.smitabhattacharya.com
All over the world, countries celebrate their independence day with great pride and gusto showcasing their strength and progress to be admired and awed by people. However, I wonder at times are we; human beings really free or liberated? Do we enjoy freedom in true sense? I’ll keep my thought process limited to India without going to the other parts of the world.Every human being according to me is free only at the time of birth. A baby has no worries about projecting the “right public image” and is happy doing anything and everything he wants to. As we grow, we are caged, shackled in many chains by the society- Social, cultural, emotional and lately technological. It starts when the baby (I’ll use ‘She’ as a pronoun as it encompasses ‘he’ too J!) is hardly a toddler. Parents love to show off his/her talents without any consideration for his/her moods and fancies. She has to sing or dance and entertain the relatives who are often least interested. Then there is a marathon for the best school in the city. The kid is again forced to mug up the likely questions to be asked at the interview, learn to behave in a certain manner at the age when she just wants to be left on her/his own. Once at school the comparison starts with all the other children. Every parent wants the child to be the best - marvelling at studies, sports, debates and elocutions, arts, theatre, social etiquette and so on. In short she has to be a Superwoman, while the mothers sweat over every small detail like deciding what hobbies are “in”, what vitamin supplements to give the child for super-built body and extra-intelligent brain, what kind of clothes are in vogue for kids and so on. All advertisements put the pressure on parents to make a scientist/ doctor/ engineer or any professional (Please note that none off the advertisements think much of artists or farmersL! No wonders farmers have remained the most vulnerable lot in our “agrarian” economy for decades!). The harried parents, in turn pass on this frenzied madness on to their children. Every parent dreams of having a super successful child prodigy, irrespective of own talents that he has passed on in the child’s DNA at birth. We want our children to follow the career chart we have created for them taking in consideration the status, social acceptance, and money it will yield. What the child’s interests are is totally ignored.Once the school and college marathon is over and youth gets a plum job, then the other social pressures build up. A girl must learn to be graceful, super talented at juggling home and demanding career, must be having all the socially accepted attributes like – fair, tall, slim, social yet home-loving, educated yet sacrificing, modern yet with traditional values and the list is endless. This brings me to the fairness obsession in our country where most girls are bound to be wheat complexioned due to our geographic and climatic conditions. Having a dusky complexion is looked down upon and if you have a darker skin only God or fairness creams save you! I find the advertisements so ridiculous when a girl dreaming of a great career has to rely on fairness creams to prove her mettle! If she wants to remain single by choice then hell breaks loose. If she marries then her womanhood is not considered complete till she delivers a baby. Why I wonder, in a free country it becomes a privilege of all and sundry to barge into couple’s bedroom and discuss why are they not having kids and what could be wrong with them. Can we not let the parents decide when they want to bring in a life that is going to be their responsibility till they are alive?Men on the other hand are forced to bring home a handsome pay package and comparisons of how much comforts and luxury a neighbour can afford to give his wife vis- a -vis the poor husband becomes a main topic of contention. Once they become parents they too merrily join the same rat race that their parents had joined to ruin them. These are some of the socio-cultural shackles I strongly feel about. Emotional shackles too are somewhat intertwined in these as usually our Indian society loves to emotionally blackmail their loved ones to follow their commands. Log kya kahenge is the most dangerous epidemic that has been afflicted by Asian psyche. Social approval is a bug that has bitten all of us. Imagine the emotional state of a young girl when she is more than often rejected because she is NOT fair, slim or beautiful. She is most often an easy prey to depression. I wonder why we give so much importance to external attributes while totally ignoring the more important ones like nature, intelligence, compatibility etc. in a life partner. Are we shopping here for a curio to beautify home or wanting someone with whom we can share our lives! And same things go for men too - what with markets flooded with anti-balding treatments and all those fairness creams for men? He too is expected to earn well, be qualified with the most lucrative degree, have a macho figure etc. I often hear young girls asking for well sculpted men as their life partners. SO now the fire has reached even the other side of the society. At a young age he’s expected to offer all the comforts and luxuries when he’s still building his career!Added to all these cages, the worst shackle is the technology. We think human being created technology for comforts but today it has totally backfired on us impacting every aspect of the society. Just look around and see for yourself what have smart phones done to our lives! The downfall that started with the idiot box and further fuelled with the internet has been completed by the smart phones. Phones are getting smarter and humans are getting dumber. I’ve nothing against technology and if used sensibly it can be a great boon. We can now reach the entire world in a split second. Emails have become a passé with the advent of other more powerful and faster means of communication. Often Facebook and twitter has helped in reuniting people or in sending across a useful message. Today I too am saying what I feel thanks to this technology. We can surely not ignore the good things. However, we can’t turn a blind eye to the damage it does to our most profound institutions of marriage, family and society as a whole. Families are fast disintegrating today as each one is happy to be in his on anda cell created by his Laptop, smart phone, personal TV or a tablet, and is constantly in his world with his headsets on. Cheating in marriages has never been so rampant and easy with the right to privacy. Virtual affairs ruin many marriages as one doesn’t understand that virtual love is bound to appear “perfect” and it’s only when you actually start life together you need to adjust and understand. Recently, a study revealed how social skills are being affected in this generation that spends most of its time in the virtual world. Family time is unheard of with each one immersed in his on virtual world. We forget that though wired from all sides we are not robots but human beings who are bound to need emotions like warmth, love and touch to thrive. The older generation who is not very tech savvy feels the brunt the most. They are mostly treated like a piece of furniture. The youth has no connect with parents leave alone grandparents. In our desire to connect across miles we have been disconnected from our own family.Family outings, dinners and gatherings do happen surprisingly even today but the most time and attention is hogged by these smart phones. Family time has become a joke with each member immersed in one’s cell phone- exchanging messages. Checking face book updates, updating status and so on.The family vacations are more for clicking selfies and check-ins to let the whole world on social media know the exotic place one is heading to. There have been many stand up comedies, what’s app forwards and tongue in cheek cartoons aimed at this but I feel we are quick to ignore these warning bells and laugh it off merely as a humour. So many have lost lives clicking selfies at dangerous spots but we are too slow to understand the implications. Are we really a generation of dimwits and our cell phones smarter than us? Only God save us in such situation…!All pictures Courtesy- https://unsplash.com
Karma: Myth and Philosophical TheoryFew days ago, I read an article on Karma. I have enjoyed that Article. It is very rare when you get chance to read an article which force you to bend your mind for thinking beyond the boundaries of your bubble of thoughts. I would like to request with reader that if they want they can visit my friend website. He writes about various topics and ideas which are energetic and great. His Article raised many question about the concept of karma. I replied him in his comment box but that was short and unorganized reply. So, I thought that it should be create as blog where I would be able to explain my point more efficiently. There is five major question raised in that article. These questions are related to law of karma, implication and evidence of existence. The first question is about if there is some kind of karma (good and bad), than who will decide that what is good karma? According to whom it will indicate that Karma is good or bad? Before exploring this answer, we must understand that in western dictionary, karma is considered as Consequence of our action. But in Indian philosophy, the definition of karma is slightly different. Karma is not confined to mere consequence of an individual action or action of a society. The word "Karma" is defined as consequence of an individual action within fold of adharma and dharma. Here, Dharma is the natural properties define by Nature to an object and adharma is resistive nature towards someone natural properties. For example, Water has properties to cool material object and Fire can burn objects. These properties of fire and water have predetermine consequence by nature. This is how nature has been constructed and natural consequence is mechanically knot with infinite causality with others. So, human natural properties has been define into three nature- Good (Sattav), Bad (Tamas) and Gray (Rajas). No human can be extreme good or bad.In various ratios, our natural properties have been construct which is direct or indirect result of our location and the era we born. So, Karma is consequence of our action which is result of what we do against or in favour of our swadharma (A term defined for individual dharma because people have various properties). It is not plain consequence of our action.[caption id="attachment_8979" align="aligncenter" width="321"] Endless Knot of karma[/caption]Now, Question arise what is good karma and what is bad karma? As a man himself sows, so he himself reaps; no man inherits the good or evil act of another man. The fruit is of the same quality as the action.— Mahabharata, xii.291.2This verse of mahabharata explain an outline of Good and bad karma. Human life is mirror of his own action. Definition of Good karma is comes from your own perception about world. If a person want to be wealthy, he must do action which not hurt someone else financially. If a person want to be love by everyone, he must be kind to others. There is no God words and holy direction to achieve good karma. There is only one dharmic rule."Do the same action which you expect from others."So,good and bad karma according to whom? This can be answer with this dharmic rule that "according to you". According to our understanding of good and bad karma.Irrespective of this dharmic rule for karma, Human is social animal. In this world we are so strongly interlinked that sometime it is hard for us to even understand that what went wrong within our society. In that situation, Hindu philosophy introduces the concept of Guru or swami. a person who studied the society and spread word against any action or karma which is not in line with current need of society. They are like ancient social reformer. Because eastern religion, especially Hinduism has decentralised religious structure, so it is very hard to challenge any change proposed by Guru and swami. But the negative side of this decentralise religious structure is that it take long time for social reform. The second question raised by article is that the idea of karma concerns free will. The dividing line between what is free action and what is not free action is unclear. Accusation has that Indian school of thought says there is moral consequence to freely undertaken actions. This idea is really thought provoking that weather karma conflict with free will of human. But the bigger question is that do we have really a free will? Let's understand with an example.I was habitual drinker of Coca cola in my young age. Whenever I got chance to drink a cold drink, I always ordered to shopkeeper for coca cola. That was spontaneous to me because my brain was habitual for that. This thing happens with many people for various habits. Some people prefer orange juice over other fruit juice. Some people always prefer apple over other fruits. So, our action or we can say, our choice is construction and pattern of our habits, our patterns. Our will (which is spontaneous) has been drive through such repeated information in our sub conscious mind. Do we have free will? or it's just mechanical outcome of our sub consciousness[/caption] Sure!! We are conscious human being and when it comes to choose different action from our habits we chose with a will we think are free. But the question is that really an action depends on our free will.I think partially its depend on our free will but mostly it is depend on how we look that action or will. Our conscious brain always calculates the risk and tracks all information about that action before executing. Any bitter experience and memory can put that action on hold. But at final stage, it is required other natural properties like ratio of taking risk, our passion for that action (if it attach to a passion) or our current physical and financial condition. We simply do not wish and start implementing. It is complex.Well, now there is concern that some ideas are result of outside moral force which has power of judgement and of inflicting repercussions. As we understand that free will is almost result of our understanding about world and the natural properties which we inherit. So, any action which we do within social framework has social implication. Every society has primitive understanding of world. This infinite net of primitive understanding of world and our collective experience from past is reflect in our current culture, social norms, social ideologies and rituals. Primitive understanding of natural phenomenon has created social ideas.it has no direct relationship to do with original philosophy. These social ideas are rigid and the power of judgement to any different idea comes from these social rigid ideologies and experience. The moral implication has no direct link with original philosophy but social peer pressure which follows the law of social majoritarianism.Yes, there is moral consequence of free will. But this consequence is not result of conflict with karmic theory but these moral consequences are result of contradiction with social framework which based on rigid idea. This rigid idea is result of collective social experience and understanding. These ideas have been promote and protect by religious institute in western religion while in Hinduism there is no protection for such rigid ideas. But as stated, due to decentralize system of religious knowledge such idea still exist in various shape and form in Indian society. I do not think that there is any contradiction and parallel fight with karma and free will here. I often observed that western scholars approach to Indian philosophy with western social theories and analytical tools. For understanding of Indian core belief and philosophy. They should understand that Indian society, Indian point of view and Indian philosophy cannot be analyse with the social theories which is developed for western societies. There was another concern that whether in Indian philosophy there any clear distinction between free will and what is not free?I have to agree with this question that there is no clear distinction because we have failed to defined free will. Whether or not humans have free will is a question that philosophers have debated for centuries, and they will likely continue to do so. Psychology can provide some insights into how free will—or at least a belief in its existence—might work, but beyond that, we likely cannot verify or invalidate its existence. There is third problem was with theory of karma which said "if you do good karma, the consequence will be good. A bad karma result bad consequence".I think this the toughest question to answer. writer says in that article"It is hard to see how some kind of natural karmic law could understand good and bad which are subjective to moral ideas that depend on the perspective of a personal agent, whether that person be a human being or God."First mistake which I found that this is utterly misunderstood concept that the karmic laws is idea based on a perspective of a person or God. The theory of karma is result of long time observation by many sages and their early understanding about people various condition. Second thing which is being conveyed by Indian philosophy that Nature itself an automatic mechanism, Humans are just part of this large mechanism. Universe is materialistic result of this natural mechanism.[caption id="attachment_media-66" align="alignnone" width="3840"] Dalai Lama on Theory of kamra[/caption]Human lives within universe, so any small human action result effect on nature. The question is that whether law of karma has any empirical evidence or not? I am doubtful that these evidence is like mystical experience. I have few experiencing evidence and many millions people have few but it is not as applicable for all others who haven't experience it. All natural laws like karma (Dharmic action), Dharma (Righteous way of life) , Gyana (self-Enlightenment) & Maya (Materialistic illusion) is very personal in nature. In physical world, a scientist spend his all life and invent something which can be used by every other being which is not involve into the studies of that invention. While In Laws of nature, Only a person can experience the natural power, self-enlightenment , materialistic illusion when he do his part of tapas (natural enlightenment). The question rises how we can achieve that enlightenment. Many suggest Yoga, wondering within nature, social works, spending time with Gurus and Swami. But I find it partial practices. The real enlightenment can be attend by Four methods explain in Bhagwat Gita.Karma yoga (a life with righteous action)Gyan yoga (A life which spend to studies nature and natural activities)Bhakti yoga (a life which involve deep devotion for anyone, your life partner, kids, any kind of God, communities)Raja Yoga (A life which is indulged into your profession which you do)Hinduism makes sure that everyone attends Moksha at last. We can have very different blog about this topic.Well, Karma is myth or not is very different question. I think, I am unable to answer that question in this blog. But I would like to have a short note over this. Writer wrote that"If God decides for that to happen on any particular occasion. There are no absolute laws of cause and effect outside the will of god".I would disagree with this statement for two reasons.First reason is that in all Hinduism scripture it stated that god and avatar (incarnation of god on earth) can have consequence (bad) of their moral actions (which was suitable for that different era). Let's take example from the Indian epics of India "Ramayana" and "Mahabharata"In Ramayana, Ram had friendship with sugreev ( a exiled monkey king). His brother bali (another powerful monkey king) had stolen the kingdom and sugreev wife from him. So he decided to take help of Lord Rama. But Bali had a boon that anyone who comes in front of him loose his half power to him. So Rama decided to kill him by hidden passage of trees. But when Lord ram, reincarnated as lord Krishana than Bali killed Krishana. Bali had taken rebirth as archer on era of Mahabharat. Lord Ram had been to face consequence of his action in another birth.Second reason thatO son of Prtha, there is no Karma prescribed for me within all the three planetary systems. Nor am I in want of anything, nor have I need to obtain anything—and yet I am engaged in karma. Chapter 3, Verse 22 .Here Lord Krishana describes how he is also bounded with laws of karma. These two example clearly describe that even god is bounded to these laws of nature. Natural laws are most powerful and govern universe.#smblogcontest
Women working as the top-notch executives in the men dominated the corporate world are just not responsible executives, wives, and mothers but they also play an important role of being a role model for millions of young women aspiring to make it big in the corporate world without compromising on their families. They are often interviewed by the journalists to share their experience on maintaining a healthy balance between work and their most responsible role of being a mother. Their experiences act as a respite for the working women who often feel guilty for not having done enough and not being always present for their children due to their professional commitments. In the changing scenarios, we have numerous prominent women setting trends in the industry, however, let’s have a sneak peek on the lives of three topmost women honchos essaying the role of an ardent professional and a mother with the equal fervor and their advice to women across the world. In her interview with David Bradley, the PepsiCo global CEO Indra Nooyi candidly shares her experience of essaying the role of a mother and a CEO. Nooyi says that honestly, women can’t have it all. One has to often choose between both the work and family and compromise somewhere in between but having a supportive family and office staff has helped her to create a healthy work-life balance between work and her family. She says as she and her husband both have hectic corporate profiles, they both plan their lives together meticulously to maximally fulfill their duties as parents to two daughters. Similarly, the candid and beautiful letter of Chandana Kochar, CEO of ICICI Bank to her daughter has recently been doing rounds in the social media circles wherein Kochar too has emphasized the importance and need of a supportive family for creating a harmonious balance between work and family. In her letter, she tells her daughter that children having working parents have great advantages of growing up independent and responsible from a very young age as parents set examples for them since their childhood days. She beautifully shares her journey and experience since losing her father at a young age and seeing her mother toiling hard to provide them an excellent upbringing and her eventually making it as one of the most powerful and successful CEO of the largest private bank in India. She tells her daughter that her successful career wouldn’t have been possible without an ardent commitment to her work and a supportive family hence accentuating the need of strong family bonds and the importance of playing the role of a mother, wife, daughter, and a CEO with equal fervor. Naina Lal Kidwai, the powerful Country Head and Group Manager of HSBC Bank is known as the first Indian women breaking the stereotypes. In a candid interview, Naina says that she has faced with the dilemma and pressure of leaving a lucrative career when she conceived her first child. But audaciously she chose both ensuring to break industry stereotype by creating a gender-neutral working environment and nurturing her family without making them feel overlooked. She makes it a priority to spend quality time with her family by planning trips to natural places devoid of mobile phone coverage and Internet. Her simple philosophy lies in playing both the roles distinctly.
"Ohh really" He said and I can't explain his way of looking at me… I mean it is just like he thought there is also something which his father can't do. Very anxiously then he ask me "Mamma but it is just an idol, where i can met him to say my wishes!"
The Flux, the change in flow, in current, movement, in moments of life.Humans are forever stuck in the hyperboles of their own imaginations and expressions. To relate to a metaphysical hydraulogical phenomenon is to experience life through the flow of water. The structural capacity of water is that of a fluid. The fluid, unlike oil, which makes breathe; unlike acid, which saves more, corrodes less.Water hence, provides a lesson for the pravaah(flow) we all need in healthy living. To endure, collect and proceed… Flow through life with a sense of fluidity, taking shape to the circumstancesthat create the person you are meant to be. When an object traverses through universe in due time, kinetic, potential, stored, all of which, caused by the movement of the substance nurtures energy. Flowing water is a form of energy. Yes, the world has progressed in utilising the hydel power and hydraulic stations, the polities and economies of some countries revolve around them. Where the amazon rainforest has been dependent on existing reserves of hydropower, China produces 856 kw hydroelectric power annually. However I wish to highlight the intellect behind this energy of water. Sparkling Water? The moment it touches your throat, it flows through the surface that existed, erodes the friction and calms your being. When we think of the energy in stored glaciers and bottles, it almost feels solid. Contained. Abstained. So much so that whence we experience a natural or a virtual flow, it teleports us to a place of serenity and tranquility. The moment the shower spouts water on your head, the sense of thirst for peace and refreshment is enlightened. Be an ever flowing river and dance through life, flowing beautifully from one place to another.Glide to the destination of life that awaits. If we indulge in mind mapping, we would realise this phenomenon in depth, as to how our thoughts too are a flow of emotions and ideas. To surpass a phase in life, to move on, we must attempt to not stay put, but move. It is funny how for how people who worship the still water. For it is in a constant state of departure, while still arriving. We realise action when it is at position of unrest. Now it can be when the cloud rains pour, brooks babble across banks and produce froth or even then when see a tear roll down the cheek. It creates a moment of unsteadiness. And also a moment to not to stop. life is like river rapids, strong and powerful.times, we must know when to paddle gentlythrough a slow-moving stream.Wherever you are in your present practice and life,be mindful as to what fluidity your mind and body is craving. Water is the mother of fire and on earth only do we preside.Out of the three elements in existence, water, in my opinion holds the strongest and the most integrated position. I have seen my work and toil fall and turn into rubble within nanoseconds, I have seen alive beings burn to ashes. I didn’t have much to take from my grandfather after he expired, but his teachings on finding the flow stuck to my heart. Next time when you’re stuck in a puddle or a storm, remember to be like the flowing water. Remember to have a pravaah.
Blurb:All mothers dream of their sons getting married, having children in a couple of years, and living happily ever after. But my dream was shattered into pieces, not to mention that it was because of a reason I cannot talk about in public.Well, after much thought and careful consideration, I have come to the realisation that it is not all over. Varun will get married. This time I will double check. Sameer told me that staying ‘Active’ on Facebook can help. The only problem is that I don’t know how to use Facebook. But how difficult can it be? If I can operate the washing machine and the smart TV, Facebook cannot be much harder. After all, Varun’s future at stake – and my name in society.Intrigue:“Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” – This is the crux of this book. This is the story of “Ilaben Patel” conservative mother who wish to get his son varun married to Aakruthi which calls off due to strange circumstances ends her into the social media vicious circle. What’s next,Could she subsist the concomitant of the social media infirmity ?What decision Ila took in addressing those aftermath?Did Varun get married ?My Review:Blurb hints the essence of social media which is supported by Splendid book cover (Facebook blue background) with a marriage procession horse and a chat text “Ila is online”, this is not the story of protagonist Ila rather its a anecdote of every mother Whose children are already trapped amidst the evils of social media. I cant stop appreciating the author who picked up this idea. Every sentence explains the agony of mother of techno-freak kids. This book is first person(Ila) narration with a dash of comical aspect. Author never missed the theme of chucklesome in the entire plot. Characters are very well illustrated.Author conveyed different angle of motherhood of extant society. Its a different approach in conveying message to the readers. Undoubtedly this is a reference manual for the present day fraternity mothers.“I saw my mother in Ilaben Patel” – I hope that consolidatesI rate “ILA IS ONLINE – Preeti Vayada” a 4.5/5 which carries powerful message, humour, motherhood emotions, family bonding and desi style. Its worth reading as this is of different genre and you will never feel bored. Believe me you will never regret reading this treatise.RegardsKiran K Adharapuram
The good and bad for us is that we become used to of anything if uncovered for long enough. Though, that is no resistant that it is good for us. We become used to drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco; we start to enjoy it.
The Beginning:In the wake of recent riots following the Ram Navami procession in Asansol-Ranigunj in West Bengal, this article is interested to analyse human nature and how does it function in a democratic political culture. The name of Adolf Eichmann is probably known only to a limited circle of people- those affected by his actions and those who studied him later. He was the second in command of the Nazi SS who was part of the team which formulated the policy of Final Solution of the Jews, fled to Argentina after the Second World War,captured by Mossad in May, 1960 , and hanged to death after a trial in Tel Aviv. What is important to know in this chronology of events is that his trial was televised throughout the world to present the extent of atrocities committed by the Nazis (it is however, not to suggest that Israel did not have any hidden agenda of not only gaining sympathy worldwide against the holocaust deniers but also prove its righteousness in putting a man responsible for the death of millions from their own community to trial despite being a nascent nation state which would help them bring their legal authority to the limelight) and that German born American political theorist Hannah Arendt wrote a book based on this trial, Eichmann in Jerusalem: A report on the Banality of Evil to analyse the extent of evil nature of human beings which prompted these people to adopt such horrific methods that led to the extermination of millions of a race from Europe. Putting in perspective- The curious case of West Bengal:Although what is happening in West Bengal following the Ram Navami incident is simply nothing compared to the above-mentioned incident, what is necessary to point out is an analysis of human nature. Bengal has been witness to comparatively lesser riots than northern and central regions of the country, except during the period of the country’s Freedom Movement where riots broke out for example in Noakhali which Mahatma Gandhi himself came to quell. Bengal’s experience of dealing with riots is very less- the last one (post the assassination of Indira Gandhi where the Sikhs were targeted) being successfully quelled by strong hand of Jyoti Basu, the long standing Chief Minister (CM) of Communist Party led West Bengal, preventing any reactions against the Sikh population. The Bengali Bhadrolok class has always taken pride in the fact that they are way above the rest of India class wise, where class does not represent any economy but signify a combination of factors like culture, politics, and social cohesion. This kind of feeling has taken its roots since the time of Bengal renaissance when the society led by some of the well-known Bengali intellectuals and social reformers like Raja Rammohan Roy and Debendranath Tagore ignited a rational thinking among the people (although there are existing views which proclaim that their efforts to modify conservative elements within Hinduism is a step towards making it more acceptable among the populace). We have traversed a long path in History, but we have always loved to bask in the glory of these past achievements and held it very close to our heart. In this long journey we have compromised on our ideals and ideas for petty gains and hence stands no chance of claiming to be on a higher pedestal of moral consciousness. The narratives coming up in the recent communal clashes in Asansol-Raniganj is the same that come up as mud-slinging and blame game following any such similar incidents. The ruling party blames the other, specially the one which has a history of using riot as an instrument to enter the political arena of a geographical space (we have not forgotten Muzaffarnagar yet!), the other accuses the ruling party of allowing the incident to flare up to such an extent by preventing the administration to perform its taskHuman Nature- an analysis:The nature of human as an animal appears to have remain unchanged. The three actors in this case are- BJP’s popular face in Bengal is a Central Minister and earlier voice to many a hit song in Bollywood, Babul Supriyo. CM Mamata Banerjee who has a history of resorting to disruption and chaos in the political culture throughout her rise in the political ladder as an opposition candidate. And finally, the common people who form the significant tool of the implementation of riots as political instruments. All the three actors have their roots in the same society which claims to have nurtured secularism as its core value- so much so that at least the 34 years of communist rule should have been able to nourish a religion-less political thinking. But unfortunately, it failed. It appears everything has gone in vain. Instead of moving towards a more civilised state of nature (at least that’s what Hobbes, Locke and Rousseau would have dreamt of!) we are moving towards a state of animalistic carnal nature of killing one of our own. And here the study of human nature like the one by Arendt attains significance. Human nature is basically animalistic. War, battles, human atrocities, rapes is not something new. It has been going on for generations and has filled the pages of history far too much. What therefore changed were two things- the reasons for the behaviour and the modus operandi of the actions. The basic instinct of performing such acts never left human essence. What Arendt argued was a lack of “thinking” in performing such acts. It always waited for the trigger to manifest its worst nature. With sophistication in our reasoning and societal structure we began our quest for myriad ways of being increasingly animalistic with the sole reason of being powerful over the others. Being powerful allows us to make happen whatever may not otherwise have been within our reach. For our convenience we have given names to these power – some are democratic, some dictatorship while some others are monarchy. But behind all these terminology lies the ever-burning instinct of more power. Democracy is considered to be the best among the worst because it also has its own share of pitfalls and disadvantages like the others but its packaging and marketing by the liberals have been way better than the propagators of the others. What makes such incidents like riots in a democratic polity interesting is, it is the sovereign which was handed the power to rule on behalf of its citizens takes a step backward towards chaos and disorder from where it was duty bound to save the people. Carl Schmitt, the crown jurist of the Nazi era provided an adequate justification in this regard. He claimed it is the sovereign which has the power to decide the cases of ‘exception’ in which it is entitled by the very constitution which binds its action, to take steps to address such scenario. Those exceptional circumstances would facilitate the process of labelling an ‘enemy’ and then follow it up with justification of waging a war against them. Such a logicality was used during the Nazi era to legitimise its actions against the Jews who were made to look responsible for the plight of the Germans post the First World War. The rhetoric in riot like situation is not very different. There is an enemy and there is a saviour. The saviour (Hindus) can legitimise its rule only at the cost of the enemy (the other social groups mainly minorities like Muslims). At the same time, it does not absolve the rulers from its actions or rather (in)action. Following Schmitt, the rulers have misused the legitimacy for its trivial political bargain at the cost of the sovereign who has handed them the power to rule on their behalf.Last but not the least:It is important to think why such incidents happen and how are human beings capable of such atrocities despite claiming it to have travelled the civilisational ladder. The political classification only gives us a convenient way out to explain our deeds- a dictator would directly kill people and in a democracy the ruler would instigate or sit back while people are killing each other. Rather it becomes convenient to perform such acts within a democratic scenario (because accountability comes later) in the absence of the baggage of pre-conceived public opinion against the system. Therefore Democracy, funnily, provides that space where leaders are capable of doing anything until it becomes too little too late. #smblogcontest
(Based on my personal research, March 2018)Throughout my journey, from an aspiring writer to be a contributor of 8, and being on contract for a debut solo; what I realized is that we all need a mentor. The one thing I wished I’d had when I was starting out as a coach, a mentor, a guide - someone who had braved the turbulent waters I was about to set sail on, and come out flourishing and thriving on the other side. Luckily, there are a variety of free online courses available for all types of writers and aspiring writers. Derrick Jensen, in his book “A language older than words” showcases a monologue of torturous life in the first chapter titled silencing. In a world of mixed ethnicities and cultures, jensen wishes to connect and hit homes of the readers with his nerve wrecking message about the existing mushrooming violence. Marveling environmental beauty and the reality of space, he traverses from his memories of the troubled past and guides us to his future and expeditions where he sought lying was the only route to mend his living. The implicit silence that lurks within the society now and since childhood then, is an act of living in a world distant from the truth. In our schooling years whence we all our free birds with no systemisation in our lives, we risk our hearts at the pleasures of being honest and innocent. The education we receive is a monopolistic game play to create disparity between what we are taught and what we experience and feel. The difference makes us stuck in a virtual world where there is a constant conflict between the residence of belief or sight. To survive from which, we must speak lies. With the passage of time, we get bound within the bountiful cultures of knowledge and monotony strikes our lives and we begin to settle. Settle for the way we work, the pattern in which we breathe, the space in which we travel. This life is ushered by physical, mental emotional oppression. However the contemporary era may be, we continue to deny the truth in reality and become mindless, deaf and mute to those in need. “the lies act as barriers to truth.”If one chose to speak, he would be silenced by the oppressing powers of culture, politics in the society. “Consider your own life, the ways you deny your own experience, the ways you have to deaden your own empathies to get through the day.” This subjugation of truth and self acceptance that has been hardwired in our lives sJensen snap shows flashes from his distraught childhood of extreme physical abuse, to which he was made accustomed to as they were ritualised by his father. Making him witness the rule of the powerful, he made jensen sit on the table, quietly, while he assaulted and victimised his family members. after this became a regime, jensen abandoned his belief system and gave up the fight for a change. His father, made him believe in a world which was made out of a figment of his imagination. To him, this ‘control’ over his thoughts and subsequently actions was ‘normal’. although The intensity of torture and pain inflicted over jensen was a customised service upon him done by his father;he was made to believe that this was the routine for him. Escaping from such incidences was a question of human dignity, more of all, his survival. How did he cater to this acute urge to survive? By lying.Jensen rightfully demonstrates how violence speaks the language of lies. “do not believe a word I write in this book, about my father, about the culture, about anything.” Jensen puts the reader in a state of epistemic ambivalence when he contradicts himself and his stories in an attempt to fabricate the truth. For even then, he wishes to make his ends meet. However unbelievable these covers may be, they must always serve as the barrier for truth to colour the horrid reality. He caged himself in a rock crystallized world where he chose silence over speech, calm over revolt and lies over truth. He quotes R.D Laing “ if our experience is destroyed we have lost our own selves” which is precisely jensen’s trial. By denying of it all being happened at the first place, he attempts on losing those memories. These fabrications are the only bread to the subjugated human, suffocating inside the uniform bars of falsehood.History reflects the human tendency to turn a blind eye and lie about the existence of the to existence of successive damaging events. The study from the Allport, Bruner and Jandorf , psychologists of the holocaust and the transformation of the oppressed, from victims to survivors, is hard hitting one. In that period of constant misery and turmoil, steadily victims adapted to their fate, they became tolerant. This tolerance came by the harvest of escapism in their sweet, small endeavors as a mechanism for survival. They found their abode in mozart, business trips and leisure at the countryside. This helped them carve out their world of facades and live in an unreal reality. Jensen attempts the same by reaching out to the naturally expressive yet unspeaking and unhearing stars and moons. “I did not die because they spoke to me.”Jensen snap shows flashes from his distraught childhood of extreme physical abuse, to which he was made accustomed to as they were ritualised by his father. Making him witness the rule of the powerful, he made jensen sit on the table ,quietly, while he assaulted and victimised his family members. By staining his head, instead of painting a fresh leaf, it became a regime, jensen abandoned his belief system and gave up the fight for a change. This helped them carve out their world of facades and live in an unreal reality. By staunch He reaches out to the time when humans see but don’t acknowledge, hear but not listen and register quite what happens around them. He talks of a time when if a grenade were to roll across on the floor, it humans won’t realize it and turn a blind eye to them. Grease, oil and barrels all of which are uncommon to an average working class human, would be highly common. To the dockworkers and factory-men and thus, dangers in a mill would be shortly adjusted to their lifestyle. They too live in a little world of their own lies, ruled by terror but governed by their own escape.Humans are the tenants of the hyperbole of their deception and by each passing moment of progression or digression they save themselves by being stagnant in their own times. . There are atrocities, havocs, desirous activities, disasters and other moments of upheavels for an average human, imagining an illusionary universe can provide a necessary escape. Hence comes the dire need for adopting false mechanisms. False mechanism provides a fraudulent environment which is subjective to everyone, even if so in reality there is a mass in the common pit. In Jensen’s state of constant denial and neglect of reality, he dwells on his experience and faded memories, even while trying to let go of it. They are always arriving in a constant state of departure. We are silencing the reality which begs our interest and action. And even though we go on eons and eons, we are only here for the fraction of fraction of a second and so we stand in a pool of human built subdued untruths. A pool of veils on truth, made by the subject hood of individuals ,granted to it by the society to facilitate existence. After all the romanticism of relativity theory lies in the passage of time which depends directly as to where we are standing. In past, present, future or just an unreal world decorated by lies of our own.

StoryMirror interviewed Bringle Academy that are striking to bring a learning revolution. Here is what they have to say.Tell us about your journey and why BRINGLE started?India is relatively young as a nation with around 28 million youth population being added every year. There is a surge in the implementation of educational technologies for improving student learning. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. Thus began the idea of bridging the gap between education and skills development in 2016. We strive to transform lessons into engaging student-centered, active learning experiences. We began our journey of combining technology with education at Thane, Maharashtra with one center. Our main focus was quaint computer courses and six sigma green and black belt courses. We found our purpose when a young adult with cerebral palsy joined us to learn computers. It was a challenging situation for us to alter our pedagogy and create a learning environment for him. Perhaps most importantly, educators should demonstrate a great deal of emotional support and patience and utilize effective teaching strategies for students with cerebral palsy. Providing positive academic feedback, assisting students in developing friendships with general education peers, and communicating frequently with parents and therapists are all ways that teachers can inspire confidence and success in students with cerebral palsy. Being a catalyst for a Cerebal Palsy dreamer to fulfill his dreams has been our biggest reward so far.Bringle Academy strives to bring a learning revolution, with our core philosophy of ‘Growing with Grace’, which can be achieved through self-improvement and skill enhancement. We constantly thrive on nature’s principal, that ‘learning never stops’, therefore our programs are designed for all age groups and professions. In programming language there are lots of keywords like in "Java" 50 reserved words are there, 32 in "C" programming language and another 30 reserved words are for C++. But in life there is a very powerful keyword present, guess what it would be! Which plays a very important role in our day to day life.i. e-"SORRY".Sorry is used as a polite way of asking someone to excuse you for having done something that might have annoyed the person. If someone scolding you in a very loud voice and he/she didn't give a chance to explain properly then you should let them speak for a moment until they speak out their issues. Feel like this, who are talking in a louder voice by dominating others then there must be some serious issues in their life, they might be in pain or suffering some problems, to hide their emotions they are taking the help of a louder style. Keep quiet and listen to their thoughts, if they are nonstop then just apply a trick by saying sorry then they must pause for a while and you should take chance at that time and start your words. Make sure your every word are polite which give them relax like medicine. Even if they are wrong and you are right you should give them a chance to speak out, when they get relax take a break and tell all the things. If they don't understand then give them time for realizing. If still, they do not understand the thing, then don't think so much and leave that topic by saying sorry. Keep your ego in your pocket and try to spread happiness. Life is too short, there is no place for all negative words. Try to smile and make everyone smile.

The tile is perfect for the plot. “The Divine Throne of Maharani Meeramani” is the first fictional social novel of the author Meenakshi Verma, in which she has raised the question of respect and rights of the third gender, ‘Eunuchs’ along with the equal rights of all human beings. She has not only raised the questions, but also tried to suggest a solution to the society. This is the story of Jairajgarh: The Grand Empire Of Rajputana of Maharana Ranjeet Dev Pratap Singh is a great warrior, and a devious politician. The characters be they the protagonists or the supporting souls, are well articulated, thus making it easy for the reader to relate to them, their views, their actions and reactions. In fact one can easily don their shoes and live the story without feeling ill at ease/ appearing odd. Each one of them contributes to taking the story forward without a hitch, without a hurdle. The author’s mastery over the language is evident from the terms he has used and the vivid description of events that unfold in the pages of the book. To write is an art, to keep the reader spellbound and yearning for more is magic. The book brings out sibling love at its best and also addresses certain social issues in subtle yet powerful strokes. This book deals with every aspect of struggles a women undergone during the ancient time and also serves a great social message about eunuch community. There are a few typos and one or two places where the author has made contradictory usages that need to be rectified. My favorite protagonist of this story is Maharani Meeramani. The book has worth to be carried and flaunt because it has got a magical touch of love which can be done in a single sitting.A wonderful read, one I’ll strongly recommend to all book lovers. "If I think back, I get depressed, if I think ahead I get afraid."-----------------------------------------------------------------------What I am writing I don't know but have some strong feeling for writing so I let my hand write.....I think I should write about some terms in life which are compelling...1. Affection Basically, we will get it from our family like grand parent's affection, cousin's affection, parent's etc . sometimes people show some fake affection and we believe them too much when they kick then we get our own station. That's why making a limited distance from everyone otherwise you will be in pain.2.Kindness 10% people of this world who believe in this hearty. Otherwise, everybody engaged in selfishness. There is no need to tell how to kind because It happens frequently.3. TrustThe most important thing in life is to believe someone unconditionally.Always think twice before trusting anyone. Now a day it's petrific to trust . so always take right decision because sometimes we get knowledge after an excruciation situation.4.LoveIt's really an amazing term of life. It's a blessing from our supreme God. Everyone gets it at least once in their life but the actual thing is to detect your feelings towards it, as per ur feelings u should accept it otherwise reject it politely. But it's true -everyone gets this chance at least once. Now a day it's very cheap, if u have Money along with Beauty then u will get easily so choose ur #betterhalf perfectly because it's your life and you are going to spend everything on it what u have, that may be relations, money, time, heart, etc...Love the man/girl who loves u don't go after any fairytale/Prince charming of your dream. 😀5. HateIt's my favorite term but now a day, I am concentrating on changing it. Don't hate anyone for their behavior, because as per our situation we behave. so keep patience, give time to realize. Nothing is impossible in this world if u have a strong feeling to change.6. RespectGive respect to everyone who belongs to u even if child also. Give it to your heart, don't try to show off your fake respect if u don't have. If u disappoint anyone they don't feel shame to say sorry because sometimes this little word "Sorry " more powerful than our mistakes.7. Forgiveness Always try to forgive and thankful to everyone for whom u get sorrowful condition because then only u can learn to manage more things by yourself.8. Promises Don't do any kind of promise that feels bad each and every time. Promise only that things which you can do by putting your all efforts. Which can only give real happiness!9. ThinkingDon't think negative aspect of anything in starting, think like positive then u can see the beauty of life. Don't think anyone bad because sometimes our situation and our surrounding make us bad. So try to understand everything and do as per ur condition. So many people thinking like this -"As a girl/boy he/she should not do this thing or that thing, What others think about me if I do this and all, etc etc ." Don't think like this, think like an open-minded.One more thing how can I forget ! 😁 that is the best medicine for everything. i. e Smile10.Smile 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀A smile doesn't mean to show ur teeth always. 😂Use it to change the world don't let the world change it. If anyone scolds and scares u then just do one thing, listen what he/she saying then Smile a bit then u feel everything is ok & then other people change their behavior. (It proved, I already tried it so many times basically I use it for my parents. 😀)( my purpose of sharing is to rectify myself and trying to spread a nice day for everyone.)

India is a huge market for commuter motorcycles as the people from the country are looking for affordable two-wheelers with high mileage. The motorcycles are quite handy to cover short distance daily.Hero bike and their Honda counterparts are the two popular manufacturers in this segment. The two companies offer a good combo of power, economy and lower running cost which are the keys to success. The motorcycles are most popular in urban and semi-urban markets. In the following article, we will find the answer on why should we choose Hero bikes over Honda? So, we picked Hero’s one of the most popular motorbikes in the segment, the Glamour FI which faces a tough competition from the Honda’s CB Shine SP.EngineThe Hero Glamour Programmed FI of Hero gets a single-cylinder, 4 stroke, 125-cc air-cooled engine which is capable of delivering a maximum of 9 bhp power at 7,000 rpm and 10.35 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox and provides a quality performance in low and mid-range.On the other hand, the Honda CB Shine SP comes with a similar single cylinder, 4 stroke, 125-cc air-cooled petrol engine which pumps out more power of 10.57 bhp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 10.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is mated to a five-speed transmission.Hence, in this regards, the Honda Shine seems to be the more powerful model.MileageThe mileage of any motorcycle is one of the most essential features to be checked by the buyers. The Hero Glamour FI claims to deliver a mileage of 72 kmpl, as claimed by the company, while the latest Honda CB Shine claims to offer a mileage of 68 kmpl. So this is where the Hero really comes on its own.Performance and FeaturesThe Hero Glamour Programmed FI offers a quite good performance for daily usage. It has a top speed of 97 kmph and you can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds. It has a 12-litre fuel tank and comes with 18-inch alloy wheels. In addition, the two-wheeler has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.On the other hand, the Honda Shine SP does not shine like its competitor. It can attain a top speed of 93 kmph and drum brakes are provided on both the wheels. Also, it has a lower fuel tank capacity as 10.5 litres. However, it has the same size wheels.PricingThe Hero Glamour FI comes with a price tag of around Rs. 67,000 (exclusive showroom), while the Honda Shine SP costs around Rs. 3,000 lesser than that. Though the hero bike does not offer as much power as the Honda, the performance is on the higher side, thanks to the bigger fuel tank and better mileage. That said, despite more power, the Shine cannot reach the top speed of Hero Glamour, which clearly seals the deal.

In a friendship of two parties, the powerful helps the inferior one to plummet disparities among them. We have seen many fables in Indian mythology like Krishna-Sudama, Krishna-Arjun, Trijata-Sita, Draupadi-Krishna and so on. But in modern world, the powerful one defames the inferior one for his own gluttonous purposes. We can't establish entente cordiale with the country who is incessantly suppressing us by playing witty games. Obviously the country I am talking about is U.S., many moons ago, dollar became the most reliable & stable currency in the world, all the countries promulgated it unanimously and relinquished gold to acquire dollar, this is when it all started. All the countries are at risk of sanctions. They all are like a marionette whose strings are managed and controlled by Mr. Trump. Whichever country goes against him, he makes that country's economy miserable like he did in Iran's case by imposing sanctions. Recently Russia has also become the victim of the same and if any country dares to buy paraphernalia from Russia then that country will be in trouble and Chinese military is already facing this punishment. India is in great obfuscation of what to choose among the S400 and Thaad. No matter how powerful Russian S400 is, no matter how many fighter jets it can destroy, but Thaad is an American missile defense system, and American companies can't incur loss. If India refuses to buy Thaad, then there is a fear of sanctions. Same thing America has done in COMCASA agreement, by signing LEMOA, BECA and COMCASA India and US became allies, but in reality it is an act of subjugation. Why to act like a slave? Why to blow US's trumpet unnecessarily? We are not the perpetrators, still we live in apprehension. Now it's time to make some effective strategies against US. When all the countries will walk hand in hand by burying the hatchet and will make up their mind to fight against dollar. It won't be a Herculean task at all.

We mostly do it when we are not confident and confused in any way.Aggressiveness is another way to let our mind free and powerful. As humankind is not allowed to Clean our urges from inside because we are so called civilized. So this becomes a way to feel Pleasure, yelling on others. It feels like giving priority to himself or herself, to be more Alive and Superior Being. In most of time anger impairs ours ability to control over cognitive behavior and then we fail to find any right outcome to express. Gradually it forms a destructive aggressive way to express the condition.Effects – Frequent use of Aggressiveness can cause addiction of being Angry. Like all other emotions if we are always in a way to be angry it consumes us like addiction. In society we misinterpreted such kinds of people. They are very mistaken for their appearance as they lose their self monitoring ability.Cure – When we become aware of this we try to train our brain to control aggression by avoiding physical contact, to rationalize our activities, but the process sometime works as temporary Cure not permanent. In those cases we must take the way of reconciliation. If we blindly keep our self calm, taking responsibility for everything, that will trigger guiltness and that doesn’t kill the reason. So day by day this partial improper training can cause opposite effect as well. We must uproot the origin of Aggression .but its Easy to act like a child rather being a matured one. That's what we follow. We must convert our Anger to Constructive behavior without making dramatic situation.

In today’s era when we talk about equality and stability with the help of technology, system, same time many things still prevailing as it is.We don’t see much changes in society from certain angle. There are people who still want to be with old notions and beliefs. As far as it doesn’t harm anyone’s feelings is ok. But sometimes situations occurs where either or things one has to choose and at that time practical approach is needed.Indeed many things is changing and that shows positive signs in society. Many ways women’s are equal to men. They also do the same which men do. Woman shown their shining side in all fields of life. Many ways they become true achiever. When we look back in to history lady like Rani Laxmibai shown her strength for nation. Same way Kalpna Chavla, Sunita Williams also proven themselves. As a responsible person of society we have to be proud of them. But irony is remain still there. One side women is becoming more and more powerful in all sectors, at the same they face social taboo like woman have to be good looking and physical feet.In today’s time every woman is becoming fashion trended. There is nothing wrong in this, but when it becomes social pressure then it’s wrong. In our society when girl become 13 or 14 years mothers start to give tips on different topics. As far as own hygiene is concern yes every one should but that doesn’t mean to spend long time in parlour. At the age of 15/16 with the body changes if girls have hair on legs or arms, mummy or friends will not see her with respect. In some case classmates will gossip about this. Why girls have to go for facial, body Hari Removing on regular bases. Why can’t they choose to take liberty on that. Yes from the hygiene aspect it’s good but that should not be possessive. Along with this now woman/girls are becoming conscious about their look also. There is a taboo that woman should look good and sexy. Practically speaking what the need to look sexy. It’s a wrong notion that make up makes woman more glamorous. In accent time without these all products woman were having lust and beauty. Mostly importantly woman themselves don’t want to talk about this. They feel embarrassed if hair growth is there or face is not looking good.Recently during discussion one of the friend said to her friend that how can you openly talk about physicality and physical intimacy. Don’t you think it’s wrong ?What’s wrong in this. Why can’t anyone talk openly about this ? Land who gave knowledge about “Kamasutra”, on that land now people are hesitant to talk about this. Yes but this the same land where day by day rap cases are increasing. In school we need to have sex education not just to have it but with serious concerns.I think still there is time to come out from this all and work upon our social taboo. Who can able to do this they can change life.As a woman we need to come out from this taboo and work towards our betterment.#Hitakshi

I always feel rewarded when someone somewhere can relate to it or when my writing brings that beautiful curve on someone’s face or if it brightens someone’s day or uplifts someone’s emotions or motivates someone. Just like a small stone can also create a big ripple, a few words are enough to capture the hidden emotions and deep thoughts beautifully. And to that, if it conveys the message of love, strengthens the connection between the mob, it’s definitely going to uplift the society overall.Q: Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?A: Not only I would love to see my work in more hands, but also would love to see myself in more smiles and like to find a place in more hearts.Q: What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?A: Apart from the connection on social media, if we can organise more events on poetry, I think it would leverage the community for poets.Q: What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? A: Some tips for the aspiring writers: Self-doubt is the biggest enemy. Don’t fall in its trap. Put your unique voice forward without any filters. Never stop exploring yourself. You never know what opportunity is waiting at the other side. Go out, share and connect with others. There’s a lot to learn from the beautiful world out there. Be consistent and make your presence feel.Q: How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror? A: StoryMirror projects a mirror image of your own life stories in varied forms. It’s a great platform to represent your writing skills, whether it’s a story or a poem of any genre. And it provides a vast library as well to engage its readers. I think it will be better to form local poet group from a region where they meet each once in a week. 2. There are many forms like flash fiction, Haiku ,Tanka etc....Q: What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? • on the basis of of my writing experience. Manage Your Resources - In Gita Verse 1.3 O my teacher, behold the great army of the sons of Pāṇḍu, so expertly arranged by your intelligent disciple the son of Drupada. When Duryodhana spoke to his Teacher and his army commander he uses the words Your Intelligent Disciple, instead of saying an Intelligent Person like you, who has given the training to Son Drupada, has placed the army in a particular style. Now use your expertise to rearrange our side. His words don’t show any due respect to Dronacharya his teacher and commander of army. He was trying to belittle him and his responsibility.Duryodhana was not interested in what he has and how to manage his resources. Even though he had the Narayani Sena, which was trained by Krishna himself. His whole focus was on what Pāṇḍava has and how to defeat them.In our life too we always feel something is missing in us. We are looking at others and comparing our life with others instead of using whatever resources we have we can manage and start from what we have, which is our present, the whole universe will support you and help you to accomplish your dream. When you start from what you have in this moment immediately you will feel everything is available and achievable. As your consciousness will shift from scarcity to abundance. When we are looking at others and at what they have, we reduce ourselves to poverty instead focus on whatever resources we have and manage to start our act from that we become an emperor. To live in abundance is the only spiritual thing in the world.Just look at the existence and its abundance. What is the need of so many different types of flowers in the world? Just roses would have been enough, but existence is abundant: millions and millions of flowers, millions of birds, millions of animals.Nature is not ascetic.Abundance is the very nature of existence, that richness is the very core, that existence does not believe in poverty. This is a very thin line, line from where you can become a beggar or be an emperor it’s our choice. No one is responsible for our circumstances except us. No one is stopping us from being emperor, except ourselves. Becoming is beggar and being is emperor. There is only one thing that can make you emperor, and that is your own being. Just find it.The original source of all tension is trying to become. One is always trying to be something; no one is at ease with himself as he is. The being is not accepted, the being is denied, and something else is taken as an ideal to become. So the basic tension is always between that which you are and that which you long to become. You desire to become something. Tension means that you are not pleased with what you are and what you have, and you long to be what you are not and what you don't have. Tension is created between these two. What you desire to become is irrelevant. If you want to become wealthy, famous, powerful, or even if you want to be free, liberated, to be divine, immortal, even if you long for salvation, moksha, then too the tension will be there. Anything that is desired as something to be fulfilled in the future, against you as you are, creates tension. The more impossible the ideal is, there is bound to be more tension. So a person who is a materialist is ordinarily not so tense as one who is religious, because the religious person is longing for the impossible, for the far-off. The distance is so great that only a great tension can fill the gap. Tension means a gap between what you have and what others have. If the gap is great, the tension will be great. If the gap is small, the tension will be small. And if there is no gap at all, it means you are satisfied with what you have. In other words, you do not long to be anything other than what you have. Then your mind exists in the moment. There is nothing to be tense about; you are at ease with yourself. You are in the Tao. If there is no gap you are religious; you are in the dharma. The gap can have many layers. If the longing is physical, the tension will be physical. When you seek a particular body, a particular shape – if you long for something other than what you have on a physical level – then there is tension in your physical body. One wants to be more beautiful. Now your body becomes tense. This tension begins at your first body, the physiological, but if it is insistent, constant, it may go deeper and spread to the other layers of your being. If you are longing for psychic powers, then the tension begins at the psychic level and spreads. The spreading is just like when you throw a stone in the lake. It drops at a particular point, but the vibrations created by it will go on spreading into the infinite. So tension may start from any one of your seven bodies, but the original source is always the same: the gap between a state that is and a state that is longed for. If you have a particular type of mind and you want to change it, transform it – if you want to be more clever, more intelligent – then tension is created. Only if we accept ourselves totally then there is no tension. This total acceptance is the miracle, the only miracle. To find a person who has accepted himself totally is the only surprising thing.Existence itself is non-tense. Tension is always because of hypothetical, non-existential possibilities. In the present there is no tension; tension is always future-oriented. It comes from the imagination. You can imagine yourself as something other than who you are. This potential that has been imagined will create tension. So the more imaginative a person is, there is a possibility of more tension. Then the imagination has become destructive. Imagination can also become constructive, creative. If your whole capacity to imagine is focused in the present, in the moment, not in the future, then you can begin to see your existence as poetry. Your imagination is not creating a longing; it is being used in living. This living in the present is beyond tension.
Be Patient - In Gita Verse 1.5 There are also great heroic, powerful fighters like Dhṛṣṭaketu, Cekitāna, Kāśirāja, Purujit, Kuntibhoja and Śaibya.Duryodhana did not want to look into the possibility of winning the war. It was out of arrogance he tried to insult Dronacharya his teacher and commander of army and also demoralise his own army.Falling down and not focusing on what we have is very easy but to focus on what we have and holding ourselves by dropping our judgement is required to become aware. This is the reason why in all religions patience has been given a lot of importance. Pause and hold yourselves before taking any action. When you hold for a moment there is a drawback/hurdle we may fall to take any action which is Inaction. We fail to even use our Buddhi or intellect. We don’t want to take responsibility of our thinking and take any action, which is always un-chartered. Fear of failure and unknown will also not allow you to take any action.Duryodhana did not have any patience to look into the present situation and see the possibilities available, analyse his strengths and weaknesses. He was trembling with fear as Pāṇḍvas were strategically planning for the war and not on its outcome . The Pāṇḍvas were minutely monitoring the available resources, their strong and weak areas and how to effectively fill any shortcomings. The strategic planning was their strength. They were also concerned with the outcome of the war but they had the courage to behold the present moment and the available resources. They spent every minute on how to effectively use their limited resources. For them what they had was more important and how to manage it was their top priority. Karma is always in the present moment. Our present moment’s karma will give birth to the next coming moment. It is natural to be impatient. Tremendous understanding and awareness is needed not to be impatient, because impatience is not going to help; on the contrary, it is one of the greatest hindrances. You have to understand impatience as your enemy. You want the vast and the mysterious to open its doors, without much effort on your part. It is not possible. There are a thousand and one doors, and only one is right; you will have to knock on all the wrong doors to find the right one. Either in scientific research, or in spiritual seeking, patience is of paramount importance.Edison who invented the first electric bulb had worked on it for three years. All his colleagues and his disciples gradually left. They were impatient, they wanted it to happen immediately, and they could not believe in the patience of Edison.Every day, Edison would come fresh, young, excited, and they would tell him, “We have experimented in so many ways, and we have failed in every experiment. Why not change the subject? We should work on something else.”Edison would say, “Who told you that we have been failures? Each failure brings us nearer to success because there must be only a limited number of doors. We knock on one door, and it is not the right door - but it is not a failure. One door, a wrong door, is eliminated; success is closer. We knock on another door; it is not the right door. But we are even closer to success - two doors are eliminated. Soon we'll be knocking on the right door. But the patience that he had is part of an intelligent and a genuine seeker. After three years, in the middle of the night, he knocked on the right door. For the first time, the human eyes..He was alone, all his colleagues had left; he was tired, utterly exhausted, and thinking himself almost mad. He was alone when he discovered the electric bulb. It had taken three years. Day and night he had been thinking only of one thing - How to approach this? And when the room was lighted up with electricity, he was sitting there in utter wonder. He was the first man to see something which had never existed before. He could not take his eyes off the electric bulb.It was getting late, and finally his wife shouted from the other room, “Put that stupid light off!” She was not aware that it was electricity. She said “Come back, and go to sleep.”He said, “It is not the stupid light that you are acquainted with; it is what my three years of patience has created. You should come here and see!”Patience is the greatest religious quality. The disciple who can wait will find all his questions answered at the right moment. But waiting is a great quality: it is deep patience, it is great trust. The mind cannot wait, it is always in a hurry. It knows nothing about patience; hence it goes on piling question upon question without getting the answer.Sabr comes from sabr: it means infinite patience. Those who are in search will need infinite patience. Patience is the greatest religious quality; if you have patience nothing else is needed. Patience is enough, enough unto itself. Patience means hope, trust, and without any hurry, without any impatience. Impatience simply shows that you are not trustful. Impatience simply shows that you want to impose yourself upon the will of God, that you want it right now. You don’t want him to work on his own. Impatience means, “My will is greater than your will.” Patience means, “I surrender my will to your will. Let yours be my will, so whenever I am ripe, whenever — if it takes an eternity it is okay — I will trust, I will hope. I will not lose my heart, I will not be disheartened.”All meditation is waiting. All prayer is infinite patience. Both Pandavas and Kauravas were fighting the war. Duryodhana was impatient he wanted everything according to his will. While Pandavas were patient they were also fighting the war to win. But totally focused on the action needed and totally focused on their action. When you are focused in the present moment you will act from patience. When your focus is in the future and not ready to focus in the present moment act, but on your desire for something you will be impatient.

Patience Is Very Active - In Gita Verse 1.6 There are the mighty Yudhāmanyu, the very powerful Uttamaujā, the son of Subhadrā and the sons of Draupadī. All these warriors are great chariot fighters.Duryodhana was so impatience that in his anxiety to win the war, he was not knowing what he was speaking. He says that the very powerful Uttamaujā, the son of Subhadrā and the sons of Draupadī, it means his and his brothers sons are not worthy, not powerful. Even though Pandavas sons were taken care and brought up by others as they lost their empire in gambling, and were in exile. Whereas Kauravas themselves had brought up their children. By saying this he conveyed that he and his brothers had failed as parents in bring up their children. When we are in the grip of desire, anxiety and anger religions says don’t do anything in that moment of anger - wait.Haste is one of the greatest diseases of present day, because it has made many things impossible which could have happened with a little patience. On your part great patience is needed, and a trust that the whole existence is in support of all those who are trying to grow spiritually. It is not you who are trying to grow spiritually; it is the existence which through you, is trying to reach its pinnacle.Patience is very alert, patience is very active, patience is very expectant. If you are waiting for somebody — a friend is to call on you — you may be sitting just by the door, but you are very attentive, alert. Any noise on the road, any car passing by, and immediately you start looking: maybe your has friend come? The wind on your doors , and suddenly you are alert: maybe he has knocked…. Dead leaves in the garden moving hither and thither, and you come out of your home; maybe he has come…. Patience is as active as that. It is a waiting. It is not dull, it is very radiant. It is not unconscious; it is not like a stupor. It is like a flame burning bright. One waits. One can wait infinitely, but one waits, expectant, active, alert, watchful.People are in a hurry, and religion is such a tree that it needs patience. It needs infinite patience. It needs no-hurry. If you are in a hurry, you will miss what religion is. Religion is not somewhere in temple or as followers. Religion is where you are. In this moment. If you are in a hurry, if you are in haste, you will never know the taste of its existence.Impatience also shows that you are not trusting your dreams, you are not trusting your totality of longing. Patience simply means: I will wait, whatever time it takes for the spring to come — but I will not wait patiently; I will wait with a heart throbbing, desiring, waiting… each moment, day in, day out. Waiting for the ship is a very total action on your part — because the action is total, your trust is total. One cannot predict when it will come. Only one thing can be said emphatically that if you are impatient it will not come. The more impatient you are for it, the less is the possibility, and if you are patient, it is bound to come. The more patient you are, the closer it is. If your patience is absolute, then it can happen right this very moment. But everything depends on patience. Patience is prayer and patience is trust and patience is love.Pandavas patience had courage to hold the present moment and the given resources. It was active, alive, in gratitude. Even the soldier of their army were ready to be participant in the war. While Duryodhana’s impatience was dead - why dead - as his disrespectful action was not allowing anyone to take any action. Before the war could start he had already lost the war. As his whole army were dead through inaction before the war had even started. His army was not a participant in the war. To achieve our goal we need our supporting team to participate.Recollect the moment when we don’t allow ourselves or the people around us to use the available resources, the whole environment becomes tense. Suddenly we feel everything is dead.Patience is nothing but a fragrance of trust. The night is dark but one trusts that the dawn is coming. Each passing moment the day is coming closer and closer. Maybe the night is actually becoming darker. In fact it becomes darker before the dawn comes, so the actual may not be helpful to the possible. The actual may be saying, ‘What are you doing? What are you waiting for? The night is getting darker than ever before. The dawn must be going further away and the distance is growing greater. This is simple logic: the night is getting darker so the dawn cannot be very close. You are losing track! There is no point in waiting any more.Your mind is constant!y hijacking you from the present moment — either into the past or into the future, but it never allows you to be in the now, to be here. By infinite patience is meant that “I trust, I am not worried. I am not rushing for tomorrow. I will rest in this moment. I will allow this moment its totality. I will explore this moment with my totality.” Then immediately, within a split second something wells up within you, something overwhelms you: a kind of music, a kind of melody, a feeling of well-being, as if everything is as it should be, you are at home, nothing is needed, all is perfect. That feeling is bliss — that everything else as it is, is right; it is absolutely okay, it cannot be better. That feeling is bliss, but that feeling is possible only when you relax, are patient, unhurried. And that’s what meditation is all about. Spirituality is nothing but a style of life, of living moment to moment, without hankering for the future… just living the present so totally that the mind has no time, no space, to go anywhere else… so absorbed, so utterly involved, drunk, with the present.Bliss is something that comes to you from the beyond — not created by you but only received. One has to learn how to wait for it; one has to learn the art of waiting. Patience, infinite patience, is needed.

United We Stand - In Gita Verse 1.15 Lord Kṛṣṇa blew His conch shell, called Pāñcajanya; Arjuna blew his, the Devadatta; and Bhīma, the voracious eater and performer of herculean tasks, blew his terrific conch shell, called Pauṇḍra.Pandava gave their approval and showed their readiness by blowing their conch shells one after the other according to hierarchy and in response to Bhishma. Krishna and Arjuna by blowing their conch shells delivered the message of transcendental, inner strength and stability. One by one everyone started blowing their conch shells. Bhima conveyed his physical strength by blowing his. There was rhythm in their response to Bhishma. They were ready but not excited. There was unity in their team. Unity has different kind of strength. They act from trust on each other. They count on each other's strength. They don’t look for mistakes in each other but stand with each other. When our focus is on the mistake it is a clear indication that we are stuck in the objective world. But when our focus is on the strength it shows that you are respectful towards other person and the universe for its imperfection. As the other person is imperfect so our we and each both can become strength of the other. One of the best examples of the strength of unity is the Indian struggle for freedom. The British were mighty powerful. They controlled and tortured Indians for years. However, even the powerful British officials had to give up when Indians came out together and stood united against them. Many patriotic leaders emerged during those times. Each had his own ideologies and tried to fight the British accordingly. These leaders inspired vast number of Indians who came out in large number to fight against the tyranny of the British.Several protests and processions were carried out during that period. The British government was shaken by these events. People realised the importance of standing together and soon their efforts paid off. The British had to leave the country owing to the mass involvement of Indians in the freedom struggle. Had only a few people come forward to fight, the British would have easily silenced them and continued their rule.Staying United: A Part of Indian CultureOurs is a country with rich tradition and culture. Staying together and helping each other is a part of our culture. Our joint family system is one of the biggest examples of the importance we give to staying united. The joint family system had prevailed in our country for centuries. Unlike the modern times, in the past the families did not only live together but also bonded well. People sat together, chit chatted and had their meals in each other’s company. Staying united helped them in many ways.People in our country did not only live united with their immediate family members but also bonded well with their neighbours and extended family. People stood by each other and acted as a great support system for one another. In India one of the reasons why the percentage of depression and psychological problem is lesser than in other part of the world is because their emotional health is taken care by friends and family members. Also when you live together you become a observer. Also learn how we can become each other’s strength. When you learn all this from your childhood it becomes your nature.“United we stand, divided we fall” means that it is wise to stick together and work in collaboration with others instead of working against each other. Working as a team is a sure shot way to success.Look at Pandava with limited resources, limited amount of finance - as they had just came out from exile, because of their unity they won the war. Kaurava with all the resources, power, finance lost the war because they were divided. Duryodhan was always surprised that why all the brothers of Pandava, with different thinking can stay united. While his brothers were not united. The basic difference was Yudhishthir always listened to them very calmly and gave them freedom to express and act. Freedom of expression and action made them responsible to stay united. While Duryodhana never gave any freedom to his brothers, that’s why they were divided.

Dignity - In Gita Verse 2.5 It would be better to live in this world by begging than to live at the cost of the lives of great souls who are my teachers. Even though desiring worldly gain, they are superiors. If they are killed, everything we enjoy will be tainted with blood. This word of Arjuna clearly come from mental laziness. He did not want to think. What I meant by, he did not want to think is - from the objective world one needs to return to the subjective world, which is connected to universe, after the observation of the fact without any judgement, then with connection with universe, which has higher intelligence, in which everything is included from love, one needs to think. That thinking has compassion for self and for others.Buddha also thinks and we too think , then what is the difference. Difference is from where we think. When you think from objective world it is bound to be judgemental, with opinion, etc. But when you return from objective world connected with your subjectivity then your thinking has universal wisdom and compassion in it. When Buddha thinks he didn’t have any agenda and expectations from his thinking. Yes he had a goal, but not an agenda.First thing, never resist the thinking but direction of the thinking needs to be changed. If you change the direction your thinking will become incapable of making you unconscious. With your thinking we become unconscious because our thinking is from objective world without returning to subjective world and connecting with the universe, in the process we follow the thinking. When we connect ourselves with our subjectivity and then think then it is universal thinking and thinking will follow us.What is the difference between thinking from objective world and thinking from subjective world:When thinking is from objective world - it is carrying with it all the emotions, attachments, judgements, opinion etc. When thinking is from subjective world - it is carrying detachments, compassion, self-dignity, etc.Self-Dignity is very humble, very simple, very innocent; it belongs to the trees. When they blossom in spring, you just look and watch their pride, their dignity. Just watch when a peacock is dancing. Those psychedelic colors, and the beautiful dance ... do you think there is any ego? But there is certainly dignity.Dignity is a totally different phenomenon, it is self-respect. Ego is domination over others. Dignity is just standing on your own feet, independent , freedom; it is not domination over others. The moment you start thinking of dominating, you are falling into the trap of the ego. And God is the greatest ego because he created everything, he dominates everything. He is present everywhere, he is all-powerful. And his reflection in the priests ... The pope claims that he is infallible. Now this is ego.A man of dignity, a man of self-respect will not say such things. Certainly he will walk straight with his head raised in dignity. He will not walk like a slave, surrendered, subdued. He will walk like a lion and roar like a lion. But that is your intrinsic energy, your intrinsic power. The power that depends on others creates the ego. The power that comes from within your own sources of life creates dignity. Meditation brings tremendous dignity, a great grace, but not even a shadow of ego is found in it.If you are capable of murdering God, you will certainly be capable of murdering his image in you. In fact, the moment God is no longer there, you will suddenly be surprised. Where has the ego gone? If the moon is not there, the reflection in the lake of the moon will disappear.Egos are reflections of one moon in different ponds, in different lakes, in different oceans, in different rivers - millions of reflections. But just remove the moon and all the reflections are removed. You don't have to remove every reflection. It will take millennia to remove all those reflections. And in fact, if the moon remains, you cannot remove the reflections.Once God is removed, you will simply find your ego is gone. It was the shadow, the reflection of God. And then you will find a totally new phenomenon, a dignity which is not a domination over others, which is not superiority over others. It is simply the joy that existence loves you, that existence creates you, that existence needs you, that you are not accidental. This gives you dignity, this gives you honor, and it is not dependent on others. It comes from your own innermost experience of your being. The moment you find yourself existential, that you belong to the whole cosmos, and the whole cosmos belongs to you, there arises a tremendous splendor in your being - Himalayan peaks of consciousness, Pacific depths of consciousness. That brings you the lion's roar. You realize for the first time you are not a slave. You realize for the first time you are not a created creature. You realize for the first time that existence is your home, you are not an outsider, and existence is nourishing you every moment. There must be a certain purpose, a certain destiny that existence is seeking through you to reach, a certain height of consciousness, a certain height of love, a certain height of compassion, understanding, wisdom, enlightenment. Existence is trying in every possible way to create a buddha in your very innermost being. The moment you are a buddha, there is dignity without any superiority. There is dignity in a rose flower. Do you think it has any power over anybody? It is so delicate, so vulnerable, but it has tremendous dignity. When it is dancing in the sun, in the rain, in the wind, it knows existence has created in him one of the most beautiful things.Dignity arises out of meditation. For Arjuna his words were coming from the objective world and not from subjective world. He is unconscious of self. He has lost his dignity. As soon as we become unconscious towards the self we lose our dignity.
Acceptance - In Gita Verse 2.6 Nor do we know which is better – conquering them or being conquered by them. If we killed the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, we should not care to live. Yet they are now standing before us on the battlefield.Arjuna is now able to see certain reality - he is not sure of who will win. But by saying “If we killed the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, we should not care to live.” his honesty was expressed. He says that if we kill sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, without them there is no meaning to live the life.Without them there is no meaning to live the life - doesn’t mean that he has any respect or love but he was honest with himself. His entire life has gone in conflict with the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, if they are not there then what he will be doing, his life was totally dependent on them. Conflict with sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra.In our unconsciousness it is very difficult to recognise our stuck mess, foolishness.Saying this he accepted that his life is dependent on them as his entire life has gone in conflict. To accept is big challenge needs courage. Once we accept anything our focus shifts from problem to solution.Look at some people who are fighting with their health and spending their time just taking care of their diseases. Look at the set of the people who take appropriate treatment and their focus is on their work and what they are able to deliver, give through their act. What’s the difference - set of people who are always taking care of their health and diseases are people who could not accept the body as whole, holy. Because for them sickness and diseases are not part of the body. So all their life they will have only one agenda that is fighting with the body. This group of people’s focus is on diseases, means problem.Another set of people they accept their body as whole and holy, means with all the possibility of diseases. They don’t fight and spend their time just to prove that they have disease free body. They properly have a check-up for any diseases and take required treatment, medicine, start treating the diseases and work simultaneously. This set of people focus on the treatment means, solution for the diseases.Acceptance has awareness in it. If you accept then immediately your focus changes from problem to solution.Van Dijk, a mental health therapist in Ontario, Canada, shares insights on everything from validating our emotions to being more effective in our lives to getting through a crisis to improving our relationships. We create suffering by not accepting reality. For instance, we say things like “It’s not fair,” “Why me?”, “This shouldn’t have happened” or “I can’t bear it!” Our instinct is to fight the pain, she writes. Normally, this instinct is protective. But in cases of pain, it backfires. We might avoid our pain or pretend it isn’t present. We might turn to unhealthy behaviors. We might ruminate about our suffering, without doing anything about it. We might turn to substances to forget the pain.Instead, the key is to accept your reality. “Acceptance simply means that you stop trying to deny your reality and you acknowledge it instead,” says Van Dijk.Acceptance does not mean that you approve of a situation or that you don’t want it to change. Acceptance is not a synonym for forgiveness, either. It doesn’t have to do with anyone else. “Acceptance is simply about whether or not you want to continue spending so much time and energy experiencing all of these painful emotions about a situation,” she writes.Forgiveness is optional, according to Van Dijk. But acceptance is necessary for moving forward. “We can’t act to change things until we recognize them as they really are.”Acceptance is powerful. Once we accept reality, our anger tends to decrease. The painful situation loses the power it has over us. While the pain doesn’t go away, the suffering does.Focus on the present. Don’t try to accept something in the future, such as “you’ll never have a long-term relationship.” We have no idea what the future holds. Instead, you might work on accepting that you’re currently not in a relationship — if that’s bringing you suffering.By saying and accepting “we should not care to live” he is turning towards his consciousness. In this awareness he says “Yet they are now standing before us on the battlefield.” - means they all want to fight with us. Very faintly he remembers his assignment of universe. They are standing before us and with enmity and we have to fight with them without enmity.

About the author: Jane Summers is a professional writer at the https://prime-essay.net writing service. She researches a diversity of topics and composes it into her blog, where she shares useful tips, writing guidelines and many other interactive issues. The topic of female presence in the army has always been controversial. At first, during wars, women were working as nurses, cooks, spies, and couriers among others. It was not official, many of them were injured or killed, but when they decided to take their responsibilities, they had a strong desire to help the military. Some of them even changed clothes and fought on the battlefield alongside with men. They felt like it was their duty, but still they wanted to hide their activity.Times have changed and in the twentieth century new movements arose that demanded more rights for women, better integration in different working areas, and empowerment in general. It was related to the topic of women in the army as well. Feminist ideas stated that men and women have to be equal in all areas of life. At the same time, some conservative points of view were powerful. The supporters of this view preferred a traditional image of the society and its institutions, where men are obligated to be active in social life and defend country, while women needed to do the housework, take care of all of the family, give birth to children and bring them up.Nowadays, women are present in military forces, but many questions remain. For instance, why are there still more soldiers than officers among women? At the same time most of them are even not allowed to stay on the battlefield and have real practice. Obviously, it is closely attached to some gender issues and stereotypes. One of them is that men always are physically stronger and are better leaders than women. Nevertheless, trainings showed that the equal number of males and females can manage tasks and be appropriate units for the military. Last news informed that women would be allowed to serve in combat – infantry, ground, and some special operations in 2016. The question may be topical for many years, because now there are many female units fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, and at the same time many women want to learn military skills. The main point of the article called “Women In Combat Roles In US Military: Still A Small Step To Equality,” written by Fitriani and Ron Matthews, is that the society should not underestimate the importance of women for military even before giving them possibilities to join it in any role. The article provides an example of countries where women are essential part of the armed forces – Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Israel, Germany, Norway, Netherlands, Romania, Poland, South Korea, and Sweden. The authors prove that the US armed forces are trying to minimize the contact of female units with the enemy. They believe that it is not fair and all restrictions to serve in combat units need to be outdone. In addition, it is stated that most of women in the army are not leaders but mainly low-ranking. It was also mentioned that many women were killed or wounded during operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Besides, there are some cases of discrimination and sexual harassment in the military. The view that is against the presence of women in the army is concentrated on some moral, safety, and gender issues, but mostly it is prejudiced, as the authors prove. In summary, the authors think that all military positions need to be available to women. At the same time, they admit that there are some positive changes: the key is not to dismiss the leadership and strength that women can bring to the armed forces before they are given the opportunity to prove themselves. Feminist theory seeks to understand the nature of gender inequality and it focuses on the issues of politics, power, and sexuality. Political activity of feminists is concentrated on such issues as the rights of reproduction, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, sexual harassment, discrimination, and sexual violence. Themes explored in feminism include discrimination, stereotyping, objectification (especially sexual objectification), oppression, and patriarchy.Feminist theory is based on the idea that all consciousness of modern people regardless of gender, are imbued with the ideas and values of masculine ideologies with their male chauvinism, the priority of masculinity, logic, and rationalism. This axiomatic fact of the modern culture explains the need for a feminist to revise the traditional views as well as the need to create the history of women's literature and defend the sovereignty of femininity that does not fit into the male logic. Thus, feminist studies have broad issues: the reconstruction of women's history and women's literary tradition audit patriarchal canons and stereotypes, finding new gender roles, the nature of women's text and the text perception female recipient, the destruction of patriarchal samples language, the problem of women in post-colonial situation and in terms of cultural imperialism, and others. Such a wide range of shows are the basis of the principles of the feminist criticism methodological diversity.Another sociological theory is critical theory which includes a number of approaches and theoretical discourse. Besides, it closely examines and criticizes the society and culture drawing on the knowledge of social sciences and humanities.Literally, the term "critical theory" gathers under a variety of approaches and knowledge based on criticism and reflexive attitude towards knowledge or the current situation in any region. Besides, it is trying to "explain the origin of the objects of his knowledge.Critical theory, in its broadest sense, does not refer to a specific theory or a complete research program but to the discourse" different "in its origin, content, direction, etc. Among these discourses, the ones that are commonly mentioned are Marxism, the Frankfurt School, psychoanalysis, post-structuralism, feminism, post-colonialism, multiculturalism, the study of racism, sexism, ethnocentrism, and colonialism among others.Discursive diversity of "critical theory" is associated with cultural studies, the leitmotif of which is the consideration of cultural phenomena in terms of organizing their relations of domination and subordination related to gender, class, race, etc. Cultural forms, phenomena, and processes are not seen as secondary education depending on the institutional forms or political or economic organization but as a dynamic force. The current situation masks inequality in international relations, and rationalism takes it a priori. Theorists did not seek to explore international or internal system states. They carried out research for political purposes of liberation of humanity from the despotic structures, world politics and economics, which are controlled by hegemonic forces. In this perception of the international system, they were very close to the theoretical neo-Marxism, because they interpreted any knowledge as an instrument of policy. The most important conclusion of critical theory, which is that any theory is a reflection of some hidden interests and their authors, regardless of whether they realize it or not, is an instrument of political power. These two sociological theories are connected with each other, because feminist theory originated from critical theory. It was about seeing gender as a dynamic concept. Gender is not social prejudices, stereotypes, and expectations that public put on both sexes but a choice for which every individual has rights. Critical theory considers the discrimination of women in armed forces to be advantageous for men and the other people who have their own interest in it. It is not always necessary to compare these two theories, because the critical theory was the first and had great influence on feminist theory, because it stated that one should perceive reality and society critically. So, gender is not traits and abilities of men and women but their self-identification and possibilities. The authors demonstrate the reflection of feminist theory when they prove that women are equal to men and if a woman has a desire to defend her country, she has the right to join the military. The equality is shown in three ways:1) Women that are going to join the armed forces are not weaker than men.2) Women are able to be as good high-ranked officers as men.3) Most of women are still far from battlefield serving on traditional positions, but they are able to do more. The other important problems that are mentioned in the article are discrimination and sexual harassment that the armed forces can cope with if they provide appropriate conditions to avoid them.Regarding critical theory, the whole article questions beliefs about women in the army, widely considers the experience of the other countries, recalls how the status of women changed over the decades, and predicts what will happen in a few years. Besides, it provides many numbers and data given from different resources that help one to lead to own conclusions. In general, critical and feminist theories almost reached their aim to liberate women, by giving them the opportunity to work in different areas and providing comfortable conditions. However, there are still some areas that have unpredictable conditions and consequences for women – one of them is the armed forces. Probably, it will take much time to create special conditions for female units and change social beliefs, but one day women will be totally equal to men as defenders.

Maturity - In Gita Verse 2.30 O descendant of Bharata, he who dwells in the body can never be slain. Therefore you need not grieve for any living being.Krishna says that the aliveness of the body, which is your soul is not doing any violent act. So don’t think of the body which is perishable. What rightnow Arjuna is thinking is only in terms of objective world, and Krishna is reminding him to come back with the information to subjective world.Krishna is asking him to transform the objective world to subjective world. Objective world is always in the crude form, unless we purify and transform we cannot grow in consciousness. We cannot see the truth. We will be always immature.Maturity means the understanding to decide for oneself, the understanding to be decisive on your own. To stand on your own feet — that’s what maturity is. But it rarely happens, because parents spoil almost every child, more or less. And then there is the school and the college and the university — they are all ready to spoil you. It is very rare that somebody becomes mature. The society is not happy with mature people. Mature people are dangerous people, because a mature person lives according to his own being. He goes on doing his own thing — he does not bother what people say, what their opinion is. He does not hanker for respectability, for prestige; he does not bother for honour. He lives his own life — he lives it at any cost. He is ready to sacrifice everything, but he is never ready to sacrifice his freedom.Society is afraid of these people; society wants everybody to remain childish. Everybody should be kept at an age somewhere between seven and fourteen — that’s where people are.In the First World War, for the first time, psychologists became aware of this strange phenomenon. For the first time on a large scale, in the army, people’s mental ages were searched for. And it was a strange discovery: the army people had the average mental age of twelve. Your body may be fifty, your mind remains somewhere below fourteen. Before fourteen you are repressed — because after fourteen repression becomes difficult. By the time a child is fourteen, if he has not been repressed then there is no possibility to repress him ever — because once he becomes a sexual being, he becomes powerful. Before fourteen he is weak, soft, feminine. Before fourteen you can put anything into his mind — he is suggestible, you can hypnotize him. You can tell him everything that you want, and he will listen to it, he will believe in it.After fourteen, logic arises, doubt arises. After fourteen, sexuality arises; with sexuality he becomes independent. Now he himself is able to become a father, now she herself is able to become a mother. So nature, biology, makes a person independent from parents at the age fourteen. So the greatest work for a man who really wants to become free, who really wants to become conscious, who really wants to become de-hypnotized — who wants to have no limitations of any kind, who wants to flow in a total existence — is that he needs to drop many things from the inside. When Buddha says, you have to kill your mother and father, that doesn’t mean that you have to go and actually kill your father and mother — but the father and mother that you are carrying within you, the idea. You will see maturity coming very soon — and without maturity life is not worth anything. Because all that is beautiful happens only in a mature mind, all that is great happens only in a mature mind. To be a grown-up is a blessing. But people simply grow up — they never become grown-ups. In age they go on growing, but in consciousness they go on shrinking. Their consciousness remains in the foetus; it has not come out of the egg, it is not yet born. Only your body is born — you are yet unborn.Take your life into your own hands: it is YOUR life. You are not here to fulfill anybody else’s expectations. Don’t live your mother’s life and don’t live your father’s life, live your life. And when you start living your life, you are living God’s life.Krishna says to Arjuna to live the Life, which is gift of universe, your subjectivity. So that you can accomplish your assignment of the universe, Fight WIthout Enmity.
Dignity - In Gita Verse 2.33 If, however, you do not perform your religious duty of fighting, then you will certainly incur sins for neglecting your duties and thus lose your reputation as a fighter.Krishna himself is fighter, he knew that when to fight and when to run away from the battlefield. Having that distinction, he is telling Arjuna to fight in this war. He is not provoking him to fight, but directing him towards his assignment of the universe. To direct him towards his assignment Krishna even say that like little bit of threatening so that Arjuna can wake up to his consciousness, he says that because if you will not perform your religious duty of fighting, then you will be certainly incur sin - as you are born in Kshatriya family your first duty is if someone wants to fight you have to accept that challenge. You have to fight with them. If you are neglecting your duties and thus lose your reputation as fighter. Here Krishna’s meaning for reputation as fighter means dignity.Dignity and ego are totally different phenomena. Dignity is non comparative whereas ego is comparative. Dignity comes from the innermost experience of one's being. Bringing out the difference between dignity and ego, "Dignity is a totally different phenomenon, it is self-respect. Ego is domination over others. Dignity is just standing on your own feet, independence, freedom; it is not domination over others. The moment you start thinking of dominating, you are falling into the trap of the ego.""Dignity is very humble, very simple, very innocent; it belongs to the trees. Dignity is just standing on your own feet, independence, freedom; it is not domination over others. Meditation brings tremendous dignity, a great grace, but not even a shadow of ego is found in it.If you are capable of murdering unconsciousness, you will certainly be capable of murdering all image in you. In fact, the moment unconsciousness is no longer there, you will suddenly be surprised. And in fact, if the moon remains, you cannot remove the reflections.Once unconsciousness is removed, you will simply find your ego is gone. It was the shadow, the reflection of unconsciousness. That brings you the lion's roar.Once Arjuna is connected with himself immediately he will become existential, whole. He will regain his Dignity.

Our Role - In Gita Verse 2.41 Those who are on this path are resolute in purpose, and their aim is one. O beloved child of the Kurus, the intelligence of those who are irresolute is many-branched.Krishna is saying those human being who had understanding of the purpose of human birth - GROW IN CONSCIOUSNESS - this is the assignment of universe to human beings. Once you become self-alert you realize your assignment of the universe, you will start living in this objective world but acting from your subjective world. The person who has realised this will be always enthusiastic to act or not, to act for that person of realization life is a play he is only playing his role. His focus will be how to play in totality. He will be total in his act. Like an actor when he is acting in movie and he has to murder someone or he has to fight war with someone he knows that he is playing his role and unless he is total role will not be successful. So what he does is without any kind of emotions he plays his role, as he knows that by murdering or killing someone in the war is not going to make any difference in his personality nor will it dent it. But if he plays his role fully that will give him fame and further opportunities.Same is in our real life - we are just playing our role given by Universe. For that we need the objective also. From the objective world we get certain circumstances in that circumstances we need to play our role. While playing the role we need our intelligence - for strategy, how and when to use the resources, how to increase our resources through our actions, - with the intelligence we need qualities like wait, watchfulness, balance, acceptance, looking into the present moment’s requirement we need to change our decision etc.Now if we play our role in objective world which is nothing but the screen of cinema, as soon as we have finished our role of that moment we need to allow other things to come on the screen. If in all this synchronicity will happen then you will find that in the middle of the world you are unaffected by the objective world. He will become participant in this world. For him nothing like sin or virtues . Everything is divine for him.Synchronistic events provide an immediate religious experience as a direct encounter with the compensatory patterning of events in nature as a whole, both inwardly and outwardly. The law of synchronicity has to be understood. This is one of the greatest contributions of Carl Gustav Jung to modern humanity: the law of synchronicity.Science is based on the law of causality. The law of causality is mechanical. You heat water to a hundred degrees – it evaporates. Where you heat it is irrelevant – in the temple, in the church, in the mosque, it doesn’t matter; in India, in Tibet, it doesn’t matter. If you heat water to a hundred degrees, it evaporates; the water has no say in it. The water cannot say, “Today I am not feeling like it.” Or, “Today is Sunday and I am on a holiday, and I am not interested in becoming vapour.” Or, “Today I am not in the mood, and you can go on heating and heating and I will not evaporate.” Or, “Today I am suddenly feeling very generous towards you so I will evaporate at fifty degrees. I will favour you.” No, the water has no choice. The law is mechanical, it is causal. If you create the cause, the effect has to follow. And it is without any exception. The credit goes to Carl Gustav Jung. The law has been known down the ages, but nobody had named it exactly. He called it ‘the law of synchronicity’. It suddenly happened to a scientist: A scientist a hundred years ago was staying in an old house. In that old house there were two old clocks on the same wall. He was surprised to see that they always kept exactly the same time, second to second: “Old clocks, and so perfect? Not even a single second’s difference?”Being a scientist he became curious. He put one clock five minutes back, and after twenty-four hours in the morning when he looked again, they were again keeping the same time. Now it was a great puzzle. He enquired… nobody had changed, nobody had touched anything. He tried again and again, and again and again they would come to the same rhythm. Then he tried to find out: “What is happening? – something strange. They are disconnected!”Then he observed more minutely and he came to conclude: “The vibration of one clock, which is more powerful, the bigger clock, goes through the wall – just the vibration – and keeps the other clock in tune. It is a subtle rhythm. Nothing is visible.”That was the beginning of a new phenomenon… then many many more things happened. And by the time Carl Gustav Jung started working on how things happen in consciousness, he came to conclude that the vibe of one heart, if it is powerful enough, can change the rhythm of another heart — just like the bigger clock was changing the smaller clock. The vibe is invisible. There is not yet any way to measure it, but it is there. It is not tangible, but it functions. It is not causal. The way in which one heart can change the rhythm of another heart same way when you live in the objective world and act from your subjectivity there aries a rhythm, synchronicity of objective world and subjective world, the whole environment will change around you. It has been said that in the 3 kilometers of radius of Buddha and Mahavira everything will become non-violence. Even the wild animal will become friendly. Now our objective world is visible but subjective world is invisible. If we act in objective world from our subjectivity, our actions will be aligned with universeal direction, from that act you will not be in the vicious circle of sin or virtues but simply play your role and in that always you will find there will be more opportunities and growth is possible.Krishna says Arjuna who realize themselves as a human being they just play their role. So come back to your subjectivity and just play your role.

Be Emperor - In Gita Verse 2.63 From anger, complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool.Krishna is explaining scientifically how we fall through our anger. Why from our childhood we are told by our parents, adults, teachers, masters, everyone that anger is bad. Because we become not only unconscious towards ourselves but also towards objective world. We just fall into hell of our own creation.Let me explain to you through one of the Zen Story:A Zen Master was asked by the Emperor of Japan…. The Emperor had come and asked the question. The Emperor reached the Zen Master and asked him, “What is hell and what is heaven?”The Zen Master looked at the Emperor and said “You son-of-a-bitch! Have you looked at your face in the mirror lately? I have never seen such a dirty-looking fellow before!”The Emperor was enraged! He had not expected such a thing from such a great saint. You don’t know great saints! You know only small, puny saints. A real saint is not a cat, he is a tiger! The Emperor was so enraged that he pulled his sword out of its sheath. He was going to cut the head of the Master. Just as the sword was coming closer, the Master said, “Wait! You are entering hell. This is the gate to hell.”The way the Master said “Wait!” was so powerful that the Emperor’s hand was stopped in the middle, and he understood — “True!” He threw the sword away, fell at the feet of the Master, and the Master laughed and said, “This is the way to heaven! You have already experienced both within a single moment. The distance is not far.”Whenever you are surrendered to existence, whenever you live in trust, love, prayer, joy, celebration, you are in heaven. Can you see that as soon as the Emperor become angry he even forgot the objective world and his agenda of coming to Zen Master. We are also in the same situation, when we are angry not only we miss the opportunity of the objective world but opportunity to become self-conscious also. When the Zen Master abuse the Emperor immediately his ego took over Emperor, Ego and Identity is nothing but our unconsciousness and they are always waiting for opportunity to come in the front. They survive only when we loss connection with our subjectivity. As soon as we are connected with our subjectivity they become our servant to follow and execute our certain work. God has given us ego as we need as servant to use for our objective world.Take the example of scientist. How they use all the information of the objective world. Without getting stuck or judgemental about the objective world they like to work on everything available to them. But they just take it as if they have come across that object for the first time. Without any past reference. They don’t have any expectation from that object, but when they take as resources and work on that object, they direct their thinking towards the opportunity and not towards the problem. In the process they are using their ego. They are so alert that they all the time have realistic check on their thinking, in which direction their thoughts are going. If we take all our life circumstances like an opportunity and resources we not only can grow in objective world but we will be growing in our self-alertness and consciousness only. The hell and heaven are not somewhere else, but they are in this very moment. If we act from our watchfulness like scientist then there is all the possibility to create heaven. But if we are not watchful like scientist we create hell.Difference between successful person and failure person is only one things - have realistic check on our thinking. When you can be self-alert regarding your thinking all the time, in any circumstances you will be able to find out the possibility, your focus will be always on possibility and not on the problem.Krishna is telling to Arjuna, that how his emotions, thinking is away from his self-alertness. If he will not give wake-up call to himself he will in the dilution which will not allow his intelligence to function, he will become bewildered, and in the process instead of becoming Lotus from the Mud. He will become again Mud, stuck in objective world. Stuck in objective world is nothing but misery, unconsciousness, directionless, just wake up like Emperor and immediately you will create your heaven.

In recent years, more Indians are becoming aware of the advantages of using an air cooler instead of air conditioning systems for indoor and even outdoor spaces. However, when it comes to centralised cooling, most people are still unaware of options they can avail as an alternative to centralised AC systems. For instance, commercial air coolers can help to cool large spaces easily. Additionally, you can also get a centralised duct system with large capacity coolers instead of central air conditioners to cool the interiors effectively.Following is a comparison of central air cooling system and centralised AC system to assist you in choosing the best one to fulfil your needs.Advantages of central air cooling systems:There are several advantages of getting an industrial air cooler for departmental stores, theatres, shopping complexes, etc. over central air conditioning. Some of them include-Air cooling systems consume less than a quarter of the energy required by air conditioning systems. With nominal electricity consumption, you can save a lot on your electricity bills with an air cooling system as compared to air conditioning system. There is no need for an area to be enclosed for a cooler to work properly. With ACs, the door and windows need to be kept shut at all times to make sure air is trapped inside. But with an air cooling system, you can keep your doors and windows open at all times, facilitating proper ventilation.ACs require refrigerants for cooling which emit HFC, a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming. Therefore, air conditioning systems are not particularly good for the environment. Commercial air coolers, alternatively, are eco-friendly and do not emit any greenhouse gasses.Air cooling systems can run effectively on small generators, which can be helpful in case of a power breakdown. Centralised air conditioners require powerful generator backups in case of power cuts. The cost of setting up an air cooling system is much lower than that of an air conditioning system. Additionally, maintenance cost of an air cooling system is also much lower than that of a centralised air conditioner. Advantages of a centralised air conditioning system:Following are a few advantages that central AC systems have over commercial air coolers:Central AC helps to circulate air effectively throughout the entirety of a space. It aids in noise reduction. Central air conditioners produce imperceptible noise, which is extremely useful in spaces like hospitals, movie theatres, etc. These units come with a dual function of heating and cooling. You can, therefore, use it to regulate the temperature inside a space according to your requirements. Thus, an air cooler has several advantages over air condition when it comes to cooling an indoor space. However, it is up to you to get the one best suited for your needs. Make sure you learn more about each system to make sure that you avail the best option for yourself. Also, if you end up with an air cooling system, compare the different make and models available in the market to get the best one for yourself.
