 Ipsa Arora
 6 March 2018

Being single is sometimes considered lonely and less fun but at other times singles know that it is a blessing to them. Single status denotes freedom, liberty, no restrictions and more of solo fun. Let us look at 12 things every single should be happy about:You can spend more time with yourself-You can go on solo trips and explore around various holiday destinations. You could even spend time watching your favourite shows or movies till late in the night- you don’t have to spend every night pampering somebody on the phone! Weekends can be lazy as you want them to be. Spend time yawning in your bed, nobody is going to insist you to go out for shopping! You can spend more time with your besties- Every person in a relationship often hears these words from his/her best friends- “You are not giving time to us now. You have changed dude.” Being single you don’t have to face any such problem. You would never have to miss out any of your friend’s party, birthday or hangout plan.Live rich!- No hefty shopping budgets. No spending huge amounts on gifts every now and then. No getting scolded from parents for burning a hole in their pockets. Save all your earnings and your parents earnings for a bright future or even spend it for pampering your own self.No spies behind you- Chill! There is nobody spying on you 24x7. You don’t have to keep someone informed about each and every thing you do in your day. Nobody is going to call you every now and then and inspect about where you are, with whom and why? No need to send mushy good morning and good night messages to someone. No guess games- Girlfriend is in a bad mood, probably because of her boyfriend. She replies to his text by saying ‘hmm’, ‘okay’, ‘fine’. The boyfriend goes back in time to the day they met and starts thinking from that day what made her upset. No don’t have to play any such guessing games. You can just relax and go about doing whatever you want to.No forced choices- Boy likes blue, grey and black coloured clothes only. No fourth colour. His girlfriend forces him to wear a bright orange shirt. He cringes, cries but ultimately gives in. He steps out of his home the next day wearing that bright coloured T-shirt. Nobody can meet the awkwardness he faces. But you, you are free to wear any colour you wish you. Ah what a smile when you step out of your home!No cheesiness in your life- you don’t have to send or receive cheesy messages to or from anyone. You don’t need to tolerate any baby, honey type cheesy stuff. Live your life simply because simplicity is the best.No lies- You don’t have to lie to anyone about where you are, what you are doing or who you are with. You don’t have to hide anything from anyone. Be your own self, live the way you like. You are the master of your life- You don’t need to take permissions from anyone for anything and everything you do in your life. Nobody is going to get angry on you for doing something without informing them.Hang out with your opposite gender friends without anyone getting possessive for you or insecure about your friendship. You know after all that you two are best friends and nobody can take that place in your life. You can flirt with whoever you want to without anyone seeing it and running after you to kill you. Healthy and harmless flirting is good for health after all.Don’t control your emotions- You don’t have to control your emotions and beware of your mood every single time. You can be happy, sad, upset, angry or whatever you feel like. You are not answerable to anyone.Already feeling relaxed and happy about being single? You must be observing a lot of your friends not sure about where their relationship is going. Their major problem in their life is around their relationship only. You on the other hand have no such troubles and are living a happy and content life, aren’t you?

Relationships Today
 Preeti Tal
 27 March 2018

What are relationships today? Search your soul and give the answer. I bet you will pick up your Apple or Blackberry to search for the answer. Wish apple and blackberry  had just been fruits instead of laptops and mobiles. Your first instinct would  be to google the answer. But you needn't do that you just have to search within you and you know the right answer. Life today is full of cares and worries .We are in the rat race just to achieve  our goals. What are those goals? A good education  from a elite institution, a high profile job, a comfortable  lifestyle, a financially strong life partner and the perfect, high achiever kids. So to procure all this we are multitasking. There is no time to stand and stare. Conversations  have become  texts, arguments have become   phone  calls  and feelings  have become  status updates. when you are lonely and you need  a shoulder, you call up your loved ones. But today they are devoid of time and each emotion is shared with  an emoticon. If you are happy and you tell your friends  and relatives, they encourage you with a ☺, if you are 😔, if you are 😕 .Relationships  are all about emoticons. No one has the time to socialize  but virtually  we know about each others lives with Social Status  Updates. Which only take seconds updating you about marriages, breakups, hospital visits, birthdays and so on. The true emotions  have been lost, we are technogeeks and technoslaves. In one word  Relationships  are robotic emotions. #smblogcontest

But a turning point in their lives sets them apart, with their soul still united and strong. Experience a roller coaster of emotions in this story. Find out how Sushil changed into a successful person from an ordinary boy.My TakeStarting from the title of the book You Are the best thing That Happened to Me gives the hint’s to readers it’s going to be a love story. The title is apt according to the plot.  It’s been said that never judge a book cannot be judged by looking at its cover alone but I personally feel cover can be much better to catch attraction among readers. The story starts with an award function where our protagonist Sushil Pandit receives an award for best employee of the year 2016. Sushil Pandit is a mechanical engineer by profession and author of two bestselling novels. He has achieved everything in life except the love of his life. After the function on his way to home he happens to meets Anuradha a journalism student who doing some research on authors. Anuradha wants to know more about Sushi’s life after achieving everything in life he is incomplete.  Then the story enters into the flashback memories of when he was in school. Sushil joins a coaching center with his friends to improve grades in subject. There he meets Anjali for the first time and felt attracted towards her. Later Anjali and Sushil become best friends who can understand each other well. Sushil was confused with his feelings towards Anjali is it love or attraction? Ashish and Anjali are they both equally important to him he can’t even think of losing one for other. On the other hand Ashish had a crush on Anjali. To know more what happened next to Sushil read the book. The author had beautifully weaved the struggles of every middle class family, the family bonding, surprise birthday celebration of Anjali at tuition center, hang outs with friends, decision to choose between career and love, struggles after college, job hunt and many more incidents. I love how cunning crafted the mother and sons bonding.Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. A book which won’t require the use of a dictionary, a book which evens an amateur reader would love to get indulged in. The pace of the story is slow and kept dragging at some time. The characters are well developed and one can easily relate them.  Narration of the book is simple and engaging. A few typographical errors here and there need to be rectified. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much better. If the Hindi dialogues were translated into English it was much better since everyone will not able to understand it.I recommend this book to the readers who are seeking for a quick read or a light-hearted romantic novel.Overall 3/5 StarsGrab the copy here- Amazon |FlipkartAbout the AuthorSushil Kumar Rana is a Mechanical Engineer work in an MNC company in Odisha. The value of Special Event Videography
 Leona Zoey
 1 November 2018

Despite the fact that we are now living in a digital age where more than two thirds of the adult population carry a smartphone, there is still great value to be had from hiring the professional services of an experienced videographer to film your special event, whether that be a corporate event or a notable family event that you want to capture for posterity. In this world of Instagram and throw-away snaps on our phones, hardly any of those taken are even looked at following an event, or even downloaded to print out!Within the visual industry, you will find some very talented and creative professionals that can turn photograph and films into a work of art. They plan out amazing ideas and execute them in a way that leads to delivering some spectacular work.Corporate event videographyUnless you have someone with these creative and clever capabilities present, your event will be just a moment in time that will be gone forever if you don't document it properly. Shooting professional footage of your corporate event can come in very handy. You can use the material to help tell a story or sell your company to prospective business partners and raise awareness of your brand. You can use your film footage to help captivate and entice a target audience that you want to attract to your company, whether that is to work with or sell to. If you are trying to raise money at the same time as running an event, then having a winning film of your event can help to boost ticket sales for the next event you plan to hold.Simply relying on using captured footage from staff smartphones to use for your marketing or to tell a story and document the event can end up looking bitty and unprofessional. What sort of image or first impression will you give to prospective business partners or customers if you don't approach running and documenting your events in a professional manner?Without quality film of your even, you cannot show how impressive or fun it was. You will be unable to show specific elements to potential sponsors, delegates and speakers.Important family eventsJust like in the corporate world, you cannot rely on gathering any useful or quality film footage from your friends and relatives that take snaps and videos of your family event using their smartphones.Whether it is a milestone wedding anniversary, a baby Christening or naming ceremony, engagement party or a celebration for a significant birthday, if you want to keep some treasured memories alive for years to come, hiring a professional videographer is the way to do it properly.Remember that just because everyone owns a smartphone these days, doesn't mean that everyone has suddenly become an expert videographer overnight! Just because your mum can bake a fantastic fruit cake doesn't mean that she could cater a whole wedding with 250 sit-down guests! The old saying of 'horses for courses' really still applies with videography as well as other skilled creative services. Book a professional if you want to benefit from good results. To know more visit our website.

Find your second innings homeIn this scene, I learnt that finding your second innings house where in you do not crib for the normal misfortunes which happen to every one of us. Instead of complaining, you find your own home where you can find a new reason to live your life. Like in the movie, all the old men find different meanings to live a purposeful life instead of brooding over their past. Fear is not good When you are fearful, you cannot perform well. But, there are situations when you are scared but still you have to perform. For instance, when this movie was released Raju Hirani the director of the movie was very scared. He did not know how the movie will come out to be. But, still he was determined in his heart and had the courage to make it. Someone who looks weak not necessarily be weak Mahatma Gandhi was afraid of public speaking. He was very shy. He gave up a case because he did not have the courage to speak. Because of his shyness it was becoming hard for him to continue his practice as a barrister. With practice and courage, Mahatma Gandhi overcame his shyness coming out to be one of the memorable political leaders of the country.Read more: The Meaning of Strength by a Feeble Manhttps://lovemishikasworld.tumblr.com/post/180476267118/lovemishikasworld-the-meaning-of-strength-by-a?fbclid=IwAR29P-N2OVjpKM9gXxexFOquv30YmAkDqz1nO7cIjc-S3O8nIYRdQkQdBYEHave the courage to be more than your public image In a scene in the movie, Mahatma Gandhi says that ask the young man to throw stones over my statue. Munna gets surprised that why Mahatma Gandhi is saying like that. While seeing this scene, I felt that Mahatma Gandhi is above his public image.  He didn’t cared for the outer respect from the young boy. But, he cared about that the young boy who had the courage to walk on Mahatma Gandhi’s path. Always be true to yourself In a scene in the movie, Mahatma Gandhi says to Munna that you have lied to Janhvi. Go tell her the truth because she doesn’t love you she loves that professor. Thus, always be honest to yourself and to your closed ones. There is no point making relations when there are not coming from your heart People often bash other people to get their work done. You cannot force anyone to make relations. Here, Munna forces his son to make relationship with his dad. Thus, he forces him to organize birthday party for his dad. What’s the point to make relations when it is not coming from your heart? Enjoy your old hood Enjoy your old hood because it as beautiful as your childhood. Mock your sorrowsWhen life gets tough, humour makes the journey easy. Take time to laugh at yourself.Choose long-term solutions over short-term solutions In tough times, go for long-term solutions that might take some time but are good for your overall benefit. Don’t scold your kids when they are honestDon’t scold your kids when they are sharing even your mistakes with you. This will give them the freedom to express themselves freely in front of you. Accept your mistakes Here Gandhiji accepts that when he was fifteen years old. He accepted his mistake that he has stolen gold of his brother. But, he accepted his mistake and changed himself for his better. In sad times recall good memories of your pastWhen you are sad, then in your mind eye’s run your beautiful past. True love brings smile on your faceThe time spent with your true love just passes by. Evaluating someone If you want to judge someone, then see how they behave with people who are lesser than them in social status. Opposite reaction to people who unnecessarily irritate you Opposite reaction to people who unnecessarily irritate you can work a lot. Find innovative ways to solve your problemsFind interesting and innovative ways to solve your problems. Do not believe in superstitions Do not believe in the society that is full of people blinded with superstition. It’s easy to preach but it is hard to practice It is hard to walk on the path of hard work, truth and honesty.

Bollywood around the trees
 Kalpana Swamy
 6 February 2019

"Bollywood is all about dancing around the trees"... probably yes and that's what makes us unique and jhintaak!
I guess "around the trees" is a metaphor to show that sweet shyness which tingles your body and that strange happiness you don't know how to express. Most of the songs picturised around trees are the ones where the girl and boy are expressing their love coyly. Starting from 1930s where Ashok Kumar and Devika Rani crooned to “Main Ban Ki Chidiya Ban Me” around the trees to almost the end of 1990s, hindi cinema have taken refuge of nature to depict romance.
And why not? Trees, flowers, gardens and nature appear the best when you heart is blooming with love. It is a state of mind which depicts happiness and joy. Even autumn starts looking fresh in hues of brown and grey, when the love blossoms! Remember the tulip garden in Dekha Ek Khwab from Silsila!
However, I want to recollect one rare song which fits the bill and still does not qualify to be jhintaak at all! “Dil Dhoondhta Hai” from Mausam!
Mausam signifies weather, which changes and never remains constant! The movie aptly titled shows myriad variations of emotions which are created by circumstances and fate. A happy couple separates, a daughter never sees her father and life takes her on the path of a profession where a man is a man, not a father or brother or friend! Fate brings the father and daughter back and relationship tornado takes swirls!
And one song which summarises the whole movie is Dil Dhoondhta Hai Phir Wohi Fursat ke Raat Din!
Gulzar Saab has penned this song in such articulated way that the same lyrics make up for a happy version and a sad version. While Madan Mohan ji has composed both the versions in typical moods, we must give complete credit to Bhupinder Singh ji for exuding such strong emotions in each version so beautifully!
The baritone effortlessly reach your soul in both the versions. While singing happy, he voice smiles and while remembering the happy times heart cries, his voice will pierce you with pain and pathos! More you listen to each version, more you fall in love!
Happy Birthday Bhupinder Singh ji!

Mentally Challeged

Mentally Challenged. My heart aches when I see them suffering because on one hand you are standing and living a normal life with a normal mental stability and on the other hand they who are scared to talk to you because they feel you would make fun of them or ill treat them.People who are mentally challenged face a lot of more difficulties in their life as compared to the normal people out there. People face a lot of problem understanding people who are mentally because at times they do not know what exactly they are talking about. There are ways to understand such people but at times they misuse the ways for wrong person. Being mentally challenged is not be abnormal but they are normal in a different way.In some places people who are mentally challenged are really treated in such a way that they have become a terrible problem in someone’s life. In some cases, the parents leave their own child in an orphanage because they are mentally challenged. Even if they have parents, they still feel that they do not have parents because they are left all alone in the orphanage without a family in spite of having one. I really feel disappointed at times when I hear or come across stories of people who are mentally challenged who are left alone because of their mental health, people mistreat them, molest them because they don’t know what is right and what is wrong. At times they really do not even understand the intentions of the opposite person and what they are going to do or behave like. But there are some people who really try to understand such people because they know it is very difficult for being a mentally challenged person and dealing with other problems along with the people who behave with them differently along with them. Some people try to communicate with such people so that they can make it easy for them to face life and deal with problems and some people just make it too difficult for the mentally challenged people to face their life. Some people aim to make their life easier and some just add more problems in their life. At times mentally challenged people feel left out as they are not treated the same way as normal or ordinary people are treated. As far as its about me I try my best to understand how the person feels and its my responsibility to treat them as I treat other children among them. I usually visit an orphanage before my birthday, it feels good to spend time with people who do not know you but are happy to see you and are happy to communicate with you. Back down the memory lane when I was in 10th I had visited the orphanage near by my house from my school for a social service, I came across not only children but also ladies and girls and boys of my age and older then me who were challenged in some or the other way. It is never too easy to see someone pain even if you do not know them. You feel terrible because you cannot help them in anyone and in the end there is only one way to help them is that give them love and make them happy and make them feel special and there is no other way because they find it difficult because they think we would laugh on them for being mentally challenged.~ By.
