Why Amazon Would Fail In India?
 Bibhu datta Rout
 26 January 2018

Long ago, there lived in a village two brothers — Motu and Patlu. Motu was the fat guy and Patlu was very lean and thin. One day both of them decided that they will start independent business in their village to sell mustard oil. Motu was smart guy and wanted to capture entire village. In order to do so, he started giving discounts on mustard oil. Patlu kept price at same level and focussed on the quality. Soon 90% of the market was captured by Motu and rest 10% was Patlu’s share.Soon Motu realised that he was incurring losses, rather massive losses. Though revenue was going high, but losses were also mounting with equivalent speed. He took some loan ( investor’s money) and diversified his business into ground oil. At that time there were few players in the market, who were already selling ground oil. Motu applied his tactics, as he was quite confident of his discounted business model. He started giving discount on ground oil as well. The investors were happy, that he kept on capturing market. Some more investors joined hands with him and put more money and Motu kept on giving discounts. He captured 80% of ground oil market and incurring more losses. Patlu, who had lost the first battle of mustard oil and few guys from ground oil had joined hands by that time. They had been searching for right time to screw Motu for unethical business practices. However, they could not do anything as Motu was “The Big Motu” by that time and out of reach from guys like Patlu. Motu had been arrogant to the producers, but he kept consumers happy. Producers had no choice, as Motu’s shop was selling more than any other shop out there. While life was moving forward, ‘The Big Motu’ felt there was big need to introduce TV to village, as villagers were deprived of TV. That was indeed a great idea and few investors put large chunk of money to it. Motu came up with a subscription model, so that whoever saw TV, had to pay some amount of money to Motu. People were happy, but the Motu’s staff at ground oil and mustard oil business were terribly unhappy, as the focus on those business were not there. The staff were working too much. The initial high salary was marginalised over period of time. So Motu kept on making customers happy, but at the cost of his own staff and producers of the product. He always believed that if one producer left his shop, dozen more would come and join. He was right, as everyone was dying to have Motu’s name associated with them.Every dog has a day. One day when Motu woke up from bed, he saw Patlu and few police men at his bed. Few of the unhappy producers were also besides him along with few local politician. Police had filed a case of unfair business practice and the charges were verified by few producers, staff even some customers who Motu felt were loyal customers. Motu tried to cease the case by paying some money, but probably he didn’t have enough money to pay the demand of politicians. The very next moment, investors started asking for money, staff revolted and things went very bad. The Big Motu was bankrupt. This story is satire metaphor of how Amazon runs business worldwide and why Amazon would fail in India with unethical business practices. India as a country is very different from the rest of the world. The consumers behave very differently here. Let me highlight few attributes of Indian.Attribute :1 People from Asian origin and specifically Indians value for money. Brand loyalty always loses the battle when pitted against the monetary gains. The discounted model does not create loyal customers in India. Attribute :2 Indians are very receptacle, adoptable to change and very fast in spreading the message. Thanks to mushrooming social media groups. So anytime Amazon tries to reduce the price of discounted items, it would take very little time, people switching to competitor. When Amazon entered India, there were few multi-million dollar e-commerce giants. Now there are many, with a hope that they would be taken over by Amazon some day. If at all Amazon buys few of them, the intrinsic value of the deal would be far below the sell off valuation.Attribute :3 Political and ideological idiosyncrasies. In Indian it is always believed that if two persons don’t match in their political views, probably they won’t be good team player. The silent reader who has been reading until now, will definitely have eyebrows up by now. Politics play an important role in governing a lot of things in India. Unlike west and Europe, where business houses are aligned to multiple parties so that nothing goes wrong when opposition is in power, in India, business houses cannot function the same way. Common people in India barely change political ideologies. As a result, it has been witnessed again and again that big companies ruin once there is a change in power at centre or state. People don’t hesitate to do political vendetta crossing any limits. It won’t be surprising Amazon falls prey to this practices.Attribute 4: Unlike other parts of the world, ego plays a vital role in shaping the personality of Indians. There are ample instances where dear ones are dejected just to satisfy ego, with hefty financial sacrifices. Enough of attributes. Let us put some search light through corridors of Amazon’s functioning in India. Unhappy sellers : Amazon makes majority of sellers unhappy in India. I have talked personally to more than 30–40 big sellers. All have same opinion. They have very indifferent attitude towards sellers. Despite having high profile machinery and huge man force and automated services, many times they fail massively in making their sellers unhappy. Hefty FBA charges : In small items such as books, fulfilment by amazon (FBA) charges are quite high. As a result, many of the regional languages book never ever see the face of Amazon. There is a possibility of some cynical political person sees some opportunity here and files a chargesheet on Amazon of killing regional language by not allowing space in e-commerce. Either Amazon would be forced to reduce the charges or find some alternatives. I don’t find any reason why a book lover won’t be interested to wait for 1 more day to get the books through normal shipping in India. Same day delivery practices in India, where there are a lots of logistics and infrastructure issues cannot be ruled out, would definitely force companies like Amazon to default in multiple instances. All the defaults can be clubbed together to make the case study big enough to file against Amazon. Flawed review practices : Amazon review processes are terribly skewed in favour of Amazon’s sponsored product. It is just a matter of time, when some agencies do some clinical litmus test on Amazon’s practice and expose them completely.Sponsored products : Amazon’s sponsored product has lot of loopholes and tries to fool even sellers. e.g. The adds will be shown to the person who paid for the add and amount will be deducted based on CPC model. Thanks to google’s chrome and Amazon. Both must be sharing the data or a special way of data stealing might be happing from systems.Unnecessary Add budgets : In order to capture Indian market, Amazon has been spending huge money on adds. Many of the TV channels fake viewership no and ask more money than they deserve. Since Amazon has lots of money from people, it does not hesitate to spend as many as they can.Too many things at same time: In stead of making some product robust and full proof, Amazon keeps investing in new products. They are in a mission to capture world just like the great Alexander. But the great man also failed in India, while underestimating the variance of IndianControl over rating systems: If you analyse Amazon take overs, they have almost taken over all big rating agencies starting from Alexa, IMDB, goodreads and many more and try to influence the product. I don’t know whether there are unfair practices over here, but seeing Amazon’s hostile takeover and unfair practices, the probability can not be ruled out.Arrogant behaviour: Two years back, when I was talking to Amazon customer service executive, they were very polite, but these days things have completely reversed. The potential reason could be the employees started believing they are too big to fail. I remember the day when I joined a company called EDS(electronic data system). That time it was fortune 80 company and there was absolutely no work. I left after few months of joining. I gave reason for exit as lack of work. My manager burst into laugh. Manager : You are getting four course meal from five star hotel. Travel is taken care by company and you work in fortune 80 company with good salary. What else you require in life.Me: I feel the company won’t survive more than 15 years with this model as the basics are not clear.Manager: You have gone crazy, as no fortune 100 companies ever died in 15 years. Rest all was history. EDS did some bad take overs, they were not having lots of savings and were not prepared for crisis and finally it was sold to HP. Eventually EDS helped HP, which was a fortune 30 company to incur losses and later divided into multiple parts.Possible cases how Amazon can fail in India.Amazon keeps on buying e-commerce companies, every passing day a new company is born supported by black money. Amazon is tired of fake acquisitions after lots of spending.Amazon has entered into food segment. Once small quality mistake can create a big havoc of generating nationalistic campaign to run against Amazon. All those people who wants to get benefitted, might join hands. One such instances, will create more opportunity and eventual exit due to heavy investors pressure.Amazon is killing the local intellectual market by stopping regional books online, as the cost incurred in distributing through Amazon is quite high. Indians value a lot for education and feel proud while preserving the culture. Indians would not eat, but would definitely love to see their children see big schools. Probably only country in the world who behaves this way. That is the reason education is over $100B business in India. If some campaign is run as anti-India against Amazon, it will take very short time to close Amazon out of India.Right to information and Right to privacy have lots of tentacles, which can be used or misused against unethical practices of Amazon. While entering food segment and entertainment segments, Amazon would be pumping in lots of money as it will be competing with companies like Reliance, UTV, Eros etc. The journey won’t be as easy as competing with Flipkart. Probability will be higher in favour of failure. If there is coalition government at centre, God help the big A. The amount of money that might be pumped into, will force the same year exit from India. There are no substantial examples that any business house running for losses or lack of profit has been able to sustain in long run. Amazon has been without profit for almost since inception, but it was majorly operational in country like US, the country which gave world many economic bubble like dot.com, sub prime crisis etc, where a economy can sustain even debt to GDP ratio is close to 100%. But in changing economic scenario, that model does not hold good. The functioning of Amazon is nothing less than e-commerce version of sub-prime crises, where the company believes that after they capture the complete market they will raise the price. But that instances will never happen in India. The day it is tried, there will either be multiple new companies floated, or public outrage or government interference. All in all these possible cases Amazon would fail in India.

The Rise of Bitcoins
 Pranathi Vuppula
 31 January 2018

Bitcoin- The first ever form of cryptocurrency developed by Satoshi Nakamoto has caused quite a stir in the recent times. And although it has been through a roller coaster, analysts say that Bitcoin is in fact, here to stay.So what is it that makes people trust this form of money exchange so much, despite it not being legal tender?Bitcoins have no physical form. They are purchased online and stored in something known as the 'Bitcoin Wallet'.Investing in bitcoins, transactions or something known as 'mining' are ways to multiply bitcoins. People also get rewarded for purchasing and sending bitcoins, thus multiplying their money. The factor most strongly in favor of bitcoins is the security this medium provides. There is both transparency and user anonymity. The user has two keys- a public key and a private key. While the public key ensures that all transactions are out in the open for verification, the private key is only present with the user. Personal details of the individual aren't required to carry out the transaction, only the private key is.The transactions can be verified by anyone in the block chain but the identity of the person is concealed. These bitcoins can also be encrypted for backup and safety.Bitcoins work on a peer-to-peer based transaction without the presence of a third party. The lack of an intermediary ensures a faster exchange of money. The hassles of paperwork and the long waiting hours are saved. It also means that there is no chance of random freezing, as is done by the banks. There is also very little transaction charge in such a medium of exchange. It is approximately 0.0005 bitcoins per transaction as opposed to the usual 3-5% interest charge by banks. Digital currency  exchanges convert bitcoins to fiat money and they too, charge a negligible rate.Decentralisation of bitcoins is another reason for their popularity. This past year has been a whirl with demonetization validating and invalidating notes constantly. There is no such risk with bitcoins since the government has no control over it and cannot order it's manufacture or seizure. So whether or not bitcoins are here to stay is a matter for experts to decide, but it definitely seems to have become the favorite of many. And let's hope for the sake of all those who have placed their faith in bitcoins that it does, indeed live up to the expectations that it's been setting.

Understanding Blockchain
 Deepak Garg
 1 February 2018

Blockchain is a new technology for performing transactions, often compared to the Internet which revolutionized the way one shares/sees Information. It was first conceptualized by an anonymous person or group of person known as Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. A Blockchain, in the simplest definition, is a ledger of transaction from the time of its genesis. Transaction is any transfer of a tangible/non-tangible asset within the people associated with that Blockchain. Bitcoin is just one of the many application whose core technology is Blockchain. In most of the transaction, there are three parties involved: the sender, the receiver, and the trusted verifier whose role is to verify that the transaction has actually taken place. For instance, one transfer money via bank through cheque, by money wallet; or one lease out a property after performing certain kind of paperwork implying Government as a trusted authority. A Blockchain removes the necessity for a third party to verify the transaction. This also implies that the Blockchain is robust to fraudster and fraudulent transactions.A Blockchain, visually or programmatically, is nothing but a chain of blocks where each block is a set of transactions. Every block contains information such as current timestamp, a link to the previous block and the next block, a collection of valid transactions during the time period between the formation of previous block and current block. Its network consist of working nodes called miners, whose main work is to create new blocks. These new blocks are joined in a single, continuous, authorative record called Block Chain. Whenever a new transaction takes place, it then propagates to the peers of the originating node and so on, till it exists with the whole network. Now the miners’ job is to validate the transaction and create the block by collecting a set of transactions. Creating a block is computationally expensive cryptographically challenging task. Once such a new block is created it is added to the chain and is then transferred back to the whole network. The other receiving nodes in the network adds the block to the existing ledger after validating the block. If one were to alter any transaction in a fraudulent way which had already taken place, they would have to find a new block that would include that transaction to fit the chain. If the current block to be computed in the network is at number 88, and the altered transaction block was 79, then the person will have to find 9 (79-87) more blocks to make a valid blockchain and pass it to the peer network. This is theoretically possible but is not in real world since finding block is not an easy task, making blockchain an ever increasing, irreversible, secure and public ledgerBitcoin, a very popular digital currency, relies on Blockchain. Applications of Blockchain is not limited to digital currency, it can be used to create smart contracts that execute on fulfilling a certain criteria (ex. Ethereum), for instantaneous peer-to-peer transaction without third parties (ex. In stock trading, property trading, patents), etcTo conclude, Block Chain is a distributed ledger of important transactions stored on a decentralized peer-to-peer network which is incorruptible due to high computation costs of blocks making it irreversible creating a trustworthy network to transact removing the need of middleman.

Top 5 problems that a start up will face in India !!
 Ranjit Samal
 18 February 2018

A great question that hovers around the mind of every Start Up enthusiast. Many business strugglers name Start Ups as a land of problems - I mean a quantified amount of problems. Either you are already in a business or planning to jump into the land of unseen potential. It’s all about a journey of uncertainty, travelling a distance less travelled or untraveled – It’s Entrepreneurship. But let’s understand Top 5 problems that each of thestartup encounters:1.      Businessmodel Validation: What we think while modeling a business or in an excel sheet, might not sync while we get down to the ground. A major quantum of the problem is caused due to lack of proper validation of the idea. A pen & paper B- model might not get accepted by the customer thus creating many problems. A sample study of the model with the target market is advisable before dropping ourselves in the market.2.      Competition: A new start up is always a kid in the land of huge, bully filled playground. Rival companies that are already in service in similar market to yours do have a competitive advantage. Their presence in the market for a longer time, high figure in market share, brand loyalty, intense market knowledge & degree of market acceptance makes life difficult for new start ups. But a new start up with a base of disruptive innovation will always have an edge over the older players.3.      Lackof Funding: Majority don’t start a business stating that funding is a big problem. But one won’t realize that we start a business because we don’t have money - it’s quite funny isn’t it?? But the fact is we can’t make money unless we have some money at the beginning. Financial risk plays a huge part in small business, ensuring a constant cash flow to cover up the running cost.4.      Acceptancefrom customers: Initially when your product/service is unknown to the public, the acceptance level of a new entity is a question at consumers’ level. Pushing out the first plot of services, bringing the first set of target customers, converting the prospects to a happy consumer became very difficult at the initial days. However all these are temporary as long as you have tested a sustainable product.5.      Unavailabilityof previous data: Business decisions are often data driven and for a new business not having adequate data set keep them in the face of dilemma. Launching a new concept in the market or even for the business founders themselves with little knowledge of the Industry can be extremely hard to plan. But for a smart guy, we have our end customers to make the things done.Someone said, there are two important days in your life. One, the day you are born, and the other – When your realize Why you have born. Similarly if you are very clear with the solutions that you are offering to the society, these problems are just a DOT.

Focus On Learning and Creating Rather Than Entertainment and Distraction
 Suchismita Sahu
 25 February 2018

An extraction from my reading experience, which converted me a writer. I cannot spend a single day without writing, even though I had to get up in the midnight to do it. Though, there is not much progress in my professional career now, but I feel writing converted me to an absolutely different personality. “Ordinary people seek entertainment. Extraordinary people seek education and learning.” -Benjamin Hardy Most people are distracted right now. They’re distracted while they’re at work. They’re distracted when they’re with family and friends. They’re distracted at the gym, on their commute, and even in the shower. The mediocre majority will continue going through life this way, never experiencing the fullness of a life filled with deep focus and purpose. Most people don’t prioritize learning and creating. They don’t care enough about any efforts to invest in their personal development and growth.Entertainment is more important. Most people have replaced achieving their life dreams and goals with TV, partying, and social media.Their life is characterized by entertainment and distraction, not learning and creating. As a result, they don’t have close relationships. They’re stuck in jobs they hate. Their life is on the fast-track to disappointment, and they don’t know what to do.Benjamin Hardy once said, “Entertainment and distraction is the enemy of creation and learning. They will keep you in mediocrity.”If you don’t want to end up living a life of mediocrity, focus on learning and education. It’s the fastest way to become extraordinary, wealthy, and successful. The Quality of Your Learning Determines the Quality of Your Success“Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development, because success is something you attract by the person you become.” -Hal ElrodYour income, relationships, and success are determined by your learning. Most people spend more money on entertainment and gadgets than self-education. This is why they remain poor and broke with superficial relationships. The quality of your learning and how much you invest in yourself directly determines the extent of your growth. In the words of Ryan Holiday:“The extent of the struggle determines the extent of the growth.”You are defined by what you’re willing to struggle for. Most people aren’t willing to really struggle for anything. They blindly accept what they’re given, and spend their free time disengaging from reality.Renowned motivational speaker Jim Rohn once said the most successful people in the world are always lifelong learners. They fully understand that their level of education directly determines their quality of life.“Formal education makes a living, but self-education makes a fortune,” Rohn explained. It’s not just about a college degree. Most of what you learn in college isn’t applicable to real-world success. It’s your self-education, the kind of learning that helps you develop into the next evolution of yourself. Most people will continue to go through life “in quiet desperation, with their songs left unsung.” Others dictate their income, their happiness, and their fulfillment. If you don’t want to end up with regret on your death-bed, choose self-education over entertainment.“You’ve got to wake up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.” George LarimerWe Attract the Things That Reflect Who We AreDarren Hardy, author of The Compound Effect, once told a story about how he ended up with his wife. When he was in his 20’s, he began compiling an enormous list of every attribute he wanted his future wife to have. He eventually filled 40 pages detailing the most exquisite and perfect match he could think of.At the end of his writing, he realized something very important:Any woman like that wouldn’t want to have anything to do with someone like him!Hardy realized he needed to become a far better version of himself to attract a woman like that. You must become a far better version of yourself to achieve the enormous success you want.Benjamin Hardy put it this way: “We attract into our lives what we are.” Ask yourself — if you want a million dollars, do you have the mindset of a millionaire? Do you have the financial knowledge and self-discipline to own that kind of money? Most people don’t, yet they continue complaining about being poor. You’ll never become a millionaire if you don’t become someone who could be a millionaire!Every day, millions of people attract mediocre opportunities into their lives — jobs, time investments, dating partners, etc. — not realizing they are attracting exactly who they are!Extremely successful people are magnets of extraordinary opportunities. They are individuals who gravitate towards success, because they are successful themselves. If you constantly engage in mediocre, subpar activities with toxic individuals, you’ll only receive similar opportunities. You’ll never experience the type of success of the world’s most extraordinary people, because success is something you attract by the person you become.“Every next level of your life will demand a different you.” -Leonardo DiCaprioStep Forward Into Growth or Backwards Into Security“It’s absurd that we would prioritize the hottest new device, the cool car, or trendy toy over owning that which makes us feel the most engaged and most alive.” -Neil PatelC.S. Lewis once described humans this way: “We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.”You do not have the luxury to “wait” to improve. Like an egg, you’ll either progress into a new version of yourself, or go rotten. There is no other way. Most people continue choosing security and safety over the choice to become the fullest version of themselves.Said Louis Sachar:“So, what’s it going to be — safety, or freedom? You can’t have both.”Right now, you have the choice — step forward into growth and development, or step backwards into safety and security. Most people step backward, slowly killing their chances to become extraordinary.Seth Godin once said, “The problem is that our culture has engaged in a Faustian bargain, in which we trade our genius and artistry for apparent stability.”The sad truth is: there’s no such thing as security. Money can be taken away (how many times have you heard of a multi-millionaire going bankrupt?). Our health could fail at any time. Millions of people are abruptly fired or laid off every year.Security isn’t real.We must choose to design our own life, and let go of our addiction to “apparent stability.” If you’ve traded your genius and creativity for “stability,” it’s time to get those back.“The goal of life is not to relax on the beach, sipping mojitos all day. The purpose is to find something you love that adds value to the world.” -Ben FoleyMost People Won’t Ever Experience True Success“The mediocre have a very narrow perception of reality, and in turn, their lives. They see things as they are, not how they can be.” -Ryan HolidayLearning and self-education aren’t popular. Most people don’t read books, attend seminars, or take even the most basic steps for self-improvement. They would rather choose distraction and entertainment. Most people will never be successful because they will spend their life this way. With just a few small changes to your life, you could enter into the top 5% — 10% of your field. The competition is extremely low! Amazing, extraordinary opportunities are abundant, because so few people ever take the steps to discover them. You can become one of the few truly successful people in the world by taking your self-education and learning seriously. In a world of mediocrity, you can become extraordinary with only a few simple tweaks. So how do you start? The more you keep evolving in better versions of yourself, the more you’ll need to be focused on the things that are most important.Your days must be characterized by high-quality activities and behaviors.Benjamin Hardy put it this way: “Success is continuously improving who you are, how you live, how you serve, and how you relate.”James Altucher once said, “Every day, check these 4 boxes: Have I improved 1% on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health?”You can start small. Even the smallest improvement is more than most people will ever see. While most people change slowly and unconsciously over time, you can begin taking control of your success by choosing to make a few small improvements. That’s all it takes. If You Want to Live an Extraordinary Life, You Need to Give Up a Normal One“If you want to live an extraordinary life, you have to give up many of the things that are part of a normal one.” -Srinivas RaoExtraordinary people are very uncommon. Their lifestyle of learning and self-education aren’t popular, either. Odds are, once you begin investing in yourself, you’ll find it’s a lonely road.Todd Henry wisely said, “The more bold you are, the more rejection you’ll experience.” The mob of the majority doesn’t like deserters. If you want an extraordinary life, you’ll need to give up many parts of the “normal” life. That might mean giving up common toxic behaviors or hanging out with toxic people. If “everyone does it,” you’d do well to give it a long, hard look. Most people will never achieve an extraordinary life. That’s OK. The extraordinary life isn’t for everyone. Learning and self-education take time, energy, and focus that most people would rather spend on entertainment and distraction — “ordinary” things.“Great” opportunities cost “good” ones; you can’t have both.Said Benjamin Hardy:Before you evolve, you can reasonably spend time with just about anyone. You can reasonably eat anything placed in front of you.You can reasonably justify activities and behaviors that are, frankly, mediocre. But as your vision expands, you realize you need to make adjustments. You can’t spend your money on junk anymore. You need to manage your time much more diligently. You need to invest in yourself and your future. To avoid mediocrity, you can’t continue being with negative people. You can’t keep eating crappy foods that slow you down. You can’t do many of the things you used to do.This is what extraordinary requires. Most people see the price and simply say “no thanks.”But you can do anything if you pay the price.“Every skill you acquire doubles your odds of success.” -Scott AdamsIn Conclusion“Who you are is a result of who you were, but where you end up depends entirely on who you choose to be from this moment forward.” -Hal ElrodThere are probably dozens of things you do on a daily basis that aren’t helping you improve. Most people live their lives on other people’s terms. Their days are spent working on other people’s goals and following the rules of someone else.Entertainment and distraction rule society. There will never be a shortage of TV shows, Buzzfeed articles, or Bad Lip Reading videos to take up your time.If you want to avoid mediocrity and achieve enormous success, you must cut out distractions and prioritize learning instead. Most people will go their whole lives as a slave to entertainment. They prioritize entertainment over improving their life, their family’s well-being, and their hopes and dreams. This is how people can stay at jobs they hate for years. It’s how people stay in toxic relationships and remain perpetually broke. They don’t bother learning how to succeed. If your lifestyle does not add to your growth and improvement, it will bring you down.Prioritize learning. Invest in self-education.Choose success over mediocrity.

Stepping out of my cocoon
 Ipsa Arora
 2 March 2018

“Hello dad, my internship location is a different city, 2000 kilometres away! My friends are planning to book train tickets and it will take nearly 36 hours to reach.” I was blabbering on the phone standing in the corridor outside my classroom. I was expecting my dad to say, “Never mind. Both of us will book our flight tickets, I will take you there, meet your office people, book you a hostel for two months, talk to the hostel warden, check food facilities and everything else and ensure that you are in the best of your comfort zone.” Instead, he said, “Yes, go ahead. You also book your ticket along with your friends.” I was frozen for a minute. “But dad, it is a 36 hour long journey!” I said. “Yes, that’s okay. If your friends don’t want to go by air, you go with them by train. It will be fun.” He tried to comfort me. I stood there for another few minutes wondering how I would manage all of it on my own. I had never stepped out of home without my parents’ guidance and that was my cocoon I refused to step out of.Now, I was being given only 18 days to prepare myself for this 2 month long journey far away from home. My batch mate booked train tickets for 5 of us who were going and I was glad that at least I escaped one task. I was extremely nervous. 18 days passed with the blink of an eye. The away-from-home mission started with the train journey, the second of my life so far. But like my friends and my parents had said, the journey was fun. 5 of us immediately bonded and endured our 36 hours playing dumb charades and other games. We reached early morning and stepping foot on a different land comprising of different people, speaking a different language and most importantly, me being away from my parents was like being on an expedition for me.But now, when I recollect those days, I feel those were among the best days of my life and I cherish each memory I have of that place. Roaming on the streets with luggage and hunting for a hostel, negotiating with the hostel warden for the fee and settling my things in the wardrobe were the first few things I did on my own. At home, I was a spoilt child and had never entered the kitchen except for taking food or keeping my utensils in the sink. In the hostel, besides taking food from the kitchen, I washed my utensils, packed mine and my friend’s lunch and even warmed milk on the stove in the middle of a night for a friend who had hurt her foot and couldn’t walk. I even learnt to wash clothes, iron them, withdraw money from a bank, go grocery shopping, interact with people not knowing my language and so many other things I couldn’t have done staying in my own city at my own home.At the internship, my boss assured me that it was a safe city and I could travel around for events and work. I managed to do 18 events in the two months, a number the company was yearning to reach in the two years they had been operating for. Everybody appreciated my work at office.I learnt to not only take care of my own self but of my friends too. They had started teasing me by calling me mommy, the one who was always worried if everybody was eating well, was in their respective rooms before the deadline at night, was reaching office on time, etc. I also became the accounts in charge for the 5 of us, who owed whom how much and why, I kept a record of all of it.Being a strong and chirpy girl most of the time, at some other times I broke down too, on the day of my childhood friend’s wedding when I could not be her bridesmaid, when my grandmother suffered a minor heart attack and I couldn’t be there beside her bed and sometimes, just like that, not knowing why.But overall, I am glad that I went there stepping out of my cocoon. I learnt a lot of household chores, a lot from my internship, made a lot of new friends and most importantly, learnt a lot about my own self!

Finance for kids : Why is US dollar more powerful than Indian Rupees

Adult (A) : Say there are two kids in the world. You and your friend. Noone else exists.Kid (K): Ok.A: You produce apples and your friend produces oranges. Since you love oranges and your friend love apples, you make a deal that every month your friend will give you 100 oranges in return for 100 apples. This is called barter system - you give me some goods or services and your friend pays you back in terms of goods and services. This practices remained for some time until there was some natural calamity in your area and you failed to produce sufficient apples for a month. But you wanted oranges. You went to your friend's place and asked for oranges.K: But why would he give me anything, when he knew that I couldn't keep my promises.A: Correct. So he made a deal. He gave you some paper, which had some agreement that you would pay him back oranges that he was lending to you. The agreement was made with the assumption that, you were an honest guy and you would keep your promises and when you had apples, you would return him back. Exchange of goods in this format gave birth to a new concept called "Money". In economic terms, it is called 'Fiat economy'- where goods are exchanged for something which cannot have a direct utility. Money has utility only when it is exchanged. Until now you had the need for oranges only. But say, you desired for pineapple, strawberries etc. and there are few more players in the market who are exchanging those fruits by issuing different paper notes. This kind of practice gives rise to the 'global currencies' where the value of each currency is different from rest of the world.C: But won't the value of each currency be same in a fair world?A: Yes, in an ideal world, the value of each currency or fiat money should be same. But here comes the complex scenario which is driven by power and greed. Every player in the market wants to get more by paying less. So your apple might not be as appealing to someone as it appeals to other and you end up paying more apples for same goods and services you get from others. C: Why would I pay more when I can get it at a fair price from someone else?A: The fair price is driven by market perception about certain goods and services. Since more players are in the market, more perception prevails. Good, bad and ugly are differentiated by perceptions only.C: Who controls perceptions?A: Good question. The dominant and powerful player in the market controls the perception. By influencing others he will make others realize that his goods or services are better than others and hence demand more value in return.C: But tell me how USD influenced the market to be the dominant player and hence more powerful in the currency market.A: Before world war I, every country was trying to influence other countries to become the dominant player in the market. During that time, Theodore Roosevelt influenced the neighboring countries to follow USD as foreign exchange currency rather than gold, which was used until that period of time. Some notable examples can be read in the history of  Cuba, Venezuela, Santo Domingo and panama. America had been engaged in producing arms by that time and was supplying to foreign countries including united kingdom.During world war 1, America gave some good number of arms to United Kingdom, who was under financial crisis and was dependent upon its' ruling countries like India and some south-east Asian countries to generate sufficient money to afford luxury the Britishers were accustomed to. During the financial crisis of world war I, United Kingdom took arms from US trough a negotiation or deal known as Liberty Bond, which amounted to over $20 billon, which would be much more than what is America's current national economy at the moment.C: You mean UK was knowing they cannot pay back the loan, but they were still keen on taking the arms from US to fight against other countries and in that case Americans were keen on giving some loans which they were confident that it could not be repaid.A: Power to control others and the greed to have more are biggest vices of the human being. The then political strategists of America were thinking much beyond their time - at least 50 years ahead of time. UK sooner became an ally in America's endeavor to have USD as global currency post world war II. But acceptance by few countries does not make a currency truly global.C: What happened next?A: After world war II, America was perceived as the super power of the world. Thanks to some scientist who could not visualize the impact of atom bomb before inventing them. Every country was agreeing to a global bank known as World Bank and fund of funds known as International monetary fund. The duty of both entities were to ensure fair market practices in the globe. However influence of US continued and they changed the exchange methods from gold transactions to US dollar. There were a lot of factors which were either manipulated or done strategically to get it done.C: I understand dollar became global currency, but why it became more powerful than Indian rupees.A: Once you have the control of global currency, you can manipulate that in your favor. I will go back to that apple and orange examples. Now that your apple is purchased by US, who has certain criteria of selection of apples to know the fair price of apples. After careful observations, it is declared that your 100 apples are actually 50 apples worth as per US standard. You have two choices - either you don't sell apple or sell in the different market. Say in such scenarios, you don't have the sufficiently big market to sell your apples and you know that if you fail to sell in US, you might lose more money. You don't bargain much and accept the negotiations done by them. When everyone started accepting the terms defined by them, the power of dollar became more. I hope that answers your question.C: Can it never be reversed. I mean INR becomes more powerful than USD?A: Yes, logically possible, for that India as a country has to think ahead of time and the strategist and policymaker make the country self-dependent and more job opportunity is created internally rather than dependent upon foreign resources. Many of the natural resources are under-utilized in India so as the human capital. If that is oriented in right manner, then time is not far we see the reverse action. India needs to be technologically sound and the education system should teach how to be innovative and creative rather than just compete to score marks. I strongly believe, your generations can do.C: Yes, we will. Thank you for the answer.

THE FEAR OF LIFE

One of the most important but not enough spoken about element of life is fear. Have you ever thought about things that you do or the plans that you make and why do you do that? If you dig deep into the same you will find that most of the decisions and the actions of an individual are driven by fear. Consciously or sub consciously it is the single biggest element which in turn is controlling your life. Why is God so popular? Even after hundreds of years of evolution of mankind people still bow down to the almighty mainly out of fear that their bad times would start anytime and he is their only hope. Whether God exists or should we pray or not is completely a separate discussion. Why is money so important?I have seen people living happily with as low as a Rs 5,000 as family income and even with no income, and some are even unhappy with even lakhs of it, there are plenty still in the fears of job losses and business failures.People tell me that fear is good, it keeps them on their toes. Well I agree with them as long as it does not control them. As long as you control your fears you are living, if fears control you it ruins your life. Hence it is important to know your fears and whether it is playing any role in your decisions of life if yes you need to find a way through it to overcome it and live your life.Managing FEAR: I am fearless, there is nothing called fear in my life. My first reaction to statements like these is that the person is lying. We all have our fears and it cannot go anywhere and it never will the best you can do is be aware of it and don’t let it command you. Getting over our fears are our biggest challenges, sometimes life poses you with situations where you have to encounter with your fears to survive sometimes it’s just a matter of small decisions.  Whether big or small but the quality of your life and work would be determined by your ability to manage your fears.Read about Arjun Sud battle his fears and battle the Tribals to protect his family in the mysterious book CHAKRAVYUH.

“CSR, Skill India, Make in India & Women Empowerment All- In-One”
 Trupti Paikaray
 13 March 2018

We have been growing up watching our country always standing at the receiving end, almost all the time as a receiver of grants, funds given by the ‘developed countries’. India is always highlighted as a growing and developing country, in various debates and discussions and we must appreciate the efforts of the foreign & other outside investors for investing in our country & to co-operate us in a major way. But, in this entire process, we forget our potentials, acumen, strength, and abilities to stand apart to be equipped enough to make our country a developed country. It pinches a lot when for getting funds, the true and dismal picture of our country gets Instagrammed and much twitting about us in the international forums & many security facts gets leaked in the name of information and database sharing. But now, we can say it confidently that ‘yes’, we can be “Independently Independent Country”. India is much more prepared for the successful implementation of Skill development and Make in India programs. At the other side, the governance rules, regulations, and policies are on the progressive lines, one of them being Corporate Social Responsibility provisions in the Companies Act.It is a matter of fact that the new provisions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Companies Act will increase the level of CSR giving in India and therefore opportunities to improve social indicators. Everything has come up with a perfect timing as a complete package or as a bonanza. While our economy is heading towards manufacturing and services sectors, it’s high-time to look forward and seeing the demand that we can create for more skilled manpower. We have a varied of skill sets that can be explored to cater skill needs of different sectors. There is a wide range of skills that can be picked up, honed & nurtured for meeting the big gaps in the skilling sectors. There are so many sectors and sub-sectors like retail, Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication, IT-ITeS, Media, Healthcare, gems & jewelry, Telecom, Electronics and hardware, BFSI, Beauty and wellness and many more new and upcoming sectors that needs special skilling attention to create a more potential workforce. The big CSR giants are going to play the significant roles in revamping and reorganizing our economy. A concrete PPP mode of implementation is the need of the hour and the CSR contribution towards Skill India and Make in India can yield huge success. At the same time, women based skill development programmes will give it an extra mileage towards achieving women empowerment along with revenue generation and economic enhancement. On this Women’s Day it should be added to the work agenda of the CSR projects and then it will be the best Women’s Day gift to the poor, downtrodden and all the struggling women and above all to the society. Skilling initiatives can ensure the employability among the youths, women and it can produce more skilled manpower to cater the need of various sectors, and it can create more entrepreneurs, sociopreneurs, and more job creations and can face-lift our country’s economy. We can use the metaphor that India will be a “What not skill store” or “A-Z skill Hub” and it will create scope for different countries to expand their business, there will be more trade and commerce with different parts of the globe which will expand our economic horizon. Skilling Initiatives can make maximum utilization of the human resources, proper skill development training can be imparted to physically challenged, people having conflict with law or the jail inmates, unemployed youths, women etc. so that they can be productive for the society and can be independent as well as can contribute towards country’s economic growth. But it’s impossible without the CSR participation. Since “International Women’s Day” is ahead, on this occasion and to make it more meaningful, CSR, Skill India and Make India campaign should take “Women Empowerment” as a mission and all these things should be combined together for a dynamic social change.Skill Development and Startups initiatives can be linked together for a better output as the youths are taking startups as alternatives to the employment. It can facilitate the job creation or employment generation process in our country by attracting the investors, funders. Our existing companies and industries should go ahead with more expansion ideas and facilities so that they can absorb more and more skilled manpower both towards revenue generation and job creation. Similarly, new companies, industries must come up with new ventures to make the “Make in India Campaign” a huge success. Attitude is the next priority and we must come out of the traditional pattern of skill development initiatives and why only some handpicked sectors, we must be very open to accept and create new sectors & new areas of skilling must be explored and taken up. It will help us to go ahead in the race of development, it will be the hub of economy, our money will be circulated and retained within our country and it will move in a spiral process. It will create more scope for economic growth, our people will be employed, our people will be able to earn more, pay more, spend more, there will be true socio-economic development. A day will come when our NGOs will be self-sustainable by creating their own funding, our Investors will be invited to international forums for investment in those countries, in the same manner, we are trying to draw the attention of the external investors. We will be called the citizens of such a powerful, developed and economically empowered country India.

The Jobholics
 Trupti Paikaray
 15 March 2018

The only obsession to be in a good job, doing jobs and only jobs, getting better jobs in the good companies, the expectation to work in multi-national companies, dream to be in government jobs, to born, brought up and die with jobs are the acts of the jobholics. They can only see, think, imagine of doing jobs only, to work as paid employees only. I don’t have any problem with the jobs; after all, it gives me and us bread and butter. But, sometimes it hurts me when we are so highly obsessed with jobs that if we don’t get jobs we think it better to sit at home and eat away our parent’s money without thinking of alternatives. The parents are also equally responsible for making their children jobholics. So, the young generation can’t think or imagine a world without or beyond jobs. In absence of a job or with no-jobs they prefer to remain jobless and unemployed, but can’t go for alternative career options. We are born and brought up with such ideas, persuasions and when a child is born the parents start planning, “my son is going to be an engineer only, my daughter is going to be a doctor” and they spoon-feed their children to be doctors and Engineers only when there are a lot of options available, and what about their passions, their interests. I have seen many teenagers suffering from such problems. Some of my juniors have shared their unhappiness with me saying that “I wanted to be a banker, a singer, a painter, but our parents forced us to study Engineering which I don’t like at all”. In the later stage, they have left that Engineering jobs to start banking careers or they have joined the careers of their choices. I feel that parents should guide their children, encourage them to study hard, but they shouldn't impose on them what they supposed to be, it’s purely a personal decision. And the children should enjoy full freedom choosing the career of their preferences; allow them to grow with their dreams, passions, allow them to be a singer, a dancer, a painter, an actor, a teacher, an agropreneur and a journalist. If the children follow their passions and nurtured with their talents, skills, and passions they will grow and fly high and would be successful in life. It will make them happy from within and that is the true meaning of life. Then they will be able to contribute their best to the societySimilarly, job should not be the only option left to the children, the parents should encourage their children to be business tycoons, entrepreneurs, industrialists, not only to be the jobholders but also be the job creators and why 10am to 6 pm job only where no holidays, extra hours of work, non-cooperative colleagues, foul play by co-workers, diplomatic boss and handling all these we develop anxiety and stress which leads to fatal diseases among the youths these days. Long hours of sitting in front of the computers and working like machines make them diseased & unhealthy. Can’t we think of job creations, giving jobs to others? After all, we find that most of the successful people are among the top business tycoons like Tata, Birla, Ambani, and Adani who are big entrepreneurs. If they were thinking of doing jobs only they would not have created the most demanding huge jobs markets for the youths in India and abroad. We should come out of that stereotypes and not only to get jobs but also creating jobs for others should be our motto. In our country people have a typical mindset pertaining to jobs, they only know to give respect to people with high-level jobs and even if a businessman is earning much more than that person he doesn’t get the same respect from the people. Similarly, people with highly established jobs want their children to follow the same pattern even if their wards are not good at studies, if their children don’t get expected jobs and decide to start business careers they are mocked by their friends and relatives, i.e. “what? Son of Mr.X, going to sell clothes and I have seen this happening in my family also. We never appreciate the business, entrepreneurial activities, and the youths without getting any support from their parents and family members being frustrated, being stressed start doing all the wrong things. It not only leads to unemployment but also poverty. Entrepreneurship must be promoted, the parents must understand its significance, and youths must be oriented to follow it as alternative career options. One entrepreneur can give jobs to many unemployed youths. Like American teens don't get pressurized to follow a trend or a career path, our Indian teens should not be pressurized in any case. In America, they know each one of them is different from each other and they designed to do things differently. So they are free to choose their career paths. They do part-time jobs for running their expenditures and they don’t judge the work you do. But here parents will decide whether their children should go for Medical or Engineering. That is the reason they are called developed countries. Hence, in our country the youths should be encouraged to follow the careers of their choices, there should be no compulsions. Similarly, entrepreneurship must be promoted among the youths to make our country developed, rich, and to ensure adequate employment opportunities are available for the unemployed mass.

BORN FREE TO LIVE IN A CAGE
 Padmini Ravindran
 16 March 2018

All over the world, countries celebrate their independence day with great pride and gusto showcasing their strength and progress to be admired and awed by people. However, I wonder at times are we; human beings really free or liberated? Do we enjoy freedom in true sense? I’ll keep my thought process limited to India without going to the other parts of the world.Every human being according to me is free only at the time of birth. A baby has no worries about projecting the “right public image” and is happy doing anything and everything he wants to. As we grow, we are caged, shackled in many chains by the society- Social, cultural, emotional and lately technological. It starts when the baby (I’ll use ‘She’ as a pronoun as it encompasses ‘he’ too J!) is hardly a toddler. Parents love to show off his/her talents without any consideration for his/her moods and fancies. She has to sing or dance and entertain the relatives who are often least interested. Then there is a marathon for the best school in the city. The kid is again forced to mug up the likely questions to be asked at the interview, learn to behave in a certain manner at the age when she just wants to be left on her/his own.    Once at school the comparison starts with all the other children. Every parent wants the child to be the best - marvelling at studies, sports, debates and elocutions, arts, theatre, social etiquette and so on. In short she has to be a Superwoman, while the mothers sweat over every small detail like deciding what hobbies are “in”, what vitamin supplements to give the child for super-built body and extra-intelligent brain, what kind of clothes are in vogue for kids and so on. All advertisements put the pressure on parents to make a scientist/ doctor/ engineer or any professional (Please note that none off the advertisements think much of artists or farmersL! No wonders farmers have remained the most vulnerable lot in our “agrarian” economy for decades!). The harried parents, in turn pass on this frenzied madness on to their children. Every parent dreams of having a super successful child prodigy, irrespective of own talents that he has passed on in the child’s DNA at birth. We want our children to follow the career chart we have created for them taking in consideration the status, social acceptance, and money it will yield. What the child’s interests are is totally ignored.Once the school and college marathon is over and youth gets a plum job, then the other social pressures build up. A girl must learn to be graceful, super talented at juggling home and demanding career, must be having all the socially accepted attributes like – fair, tall, slim, social yet home-loving, educated yet sacrificing, modern yet with traditional values and the list is endless. This brings me to the fairness obsession in our country where most girls are bound to be wheat complexioned due to our geographic and climatic conditions. Having a dusky complexion is looked down upon and if you have a darker skin only God or fairness creams save you! I find the advertisements so ridiculous when a girl dreaming of a great career has to rely on fairness creams to prove her mettle! If she wants to remain single by choice then hell breaks loose. If she marries then her womanhood is not considered complete till she delivers a baby. Why I wonder, in a free country it becomes a privilege of all and sundry to barge into couple’s bedroom and discuss why are they not having kids and what could be wrong with them. Can we not let the parents decide when they want to bring in a life that is going to be their responsibility till they are alive?Men on the other hand are forced to bring home a handsome pay package and comparisons of how much comforts and luxury a neighbour can afford to give his wife vis- a -vis the poor husband becomes a main topic of contention. Once they become parents they too merrily join the same rat race that their parents had joined to ruin them. These are some of the socio-cultural shackles I strongly feel about. Emotional shackles too are somewhat intertwined in these as usually our Indian society loves to emotionally blackmail their loved ones to follow their commands. Log kya kahenge is the most dangerous epidemic that has been afflicted by Asian psyche. Social approval is a bug that has bitten all of us. Imagine the emotional state of a young girl when she is more than often rejected because she is NOT fair, slim or beautiful. She is most often an easy prey to depression. I wonder why we give so much importance to external attributes while totally ignoring the more important ones like nature, intelligence, compatibility etc. in a life partner. Are we shopping here for a curio to beautify home or wanting someone with whom we can share our lives! And same things go for men too - what with markets flooded with anti-balding treatments and all those fairness creams for men? He too is expected to earn well, be qualified with the most lucrative degree, have a macho figure etc. I often hear young girls asking for well sculpted men as their life partners. SO now the fire has reached even the other side of the society. At a young age he’s expected to offer all the comforts and luxuries when he’s still building his career!Added to all these cages, the worst shackle is the technology. We think human being created technology for comforts but today it has totally backfired on us impacting every aspect of the society. Just look around and see for yourself what have smart phones done to our lives! The downfall that started with the idiot box and further fuelled with the internet has been completed by the smart phones. Phones are getting smarter and humans are getting dumber. I’ve nothing against technology and if used sensibly it can be a great boon. We can now reach the entire world in a split second. Emails have become a passé with the advent of other more powerful and faster means of communication. Often Facebook and twitter has helped in reuniting people or in sending across a useful message. Today I too am saying what I feel thanks to this technology. We can surely not ignore the good things. However, we can’t turn a blind eye to the damage it does to our most profound institutions of marriage, family and society as a whole.  Families are fast disintegrating today as each one is happy to be in his on anda cell created by his Laptop, smart phone, personal TV or a tablet, and is constantly in his world with his headsets on. Cheating in marriages has never been so rampant and easy with the right to privacy. Virtual affairs ruin many marriages as one doesn’t understand that virtual love is bound to appear “perfect” and it’s only when you actually start life together you need to adjust and understand. Recently, a study revealed how social skills are being affected in this generation that spends most of its time in the virtual world. Family time is unheard of with each one immersed in his on virtual world. We forget that though wired from all sides we are not robots but human beings who are bound to need emotions like warmth, love and touch to thrive. The older generation who is not very tech savvy feels the brunt the most. They are mostly treated like a piece of furniture. The youth has no connect with parents leave alone grandparents. In our desire to connect across miles we have been disconnected from our own family.Family outings, dinners and gatherings do happen surprisingly even today but the most time and attention is hogged by these smart phones. Family time has become a joke with each member immersed in one’s cell phone- exchanging messages. Checking face book updates, updating status and so on.The family vacations are more for clicking selfies and check-ins to let the whole world on social media know the exotic place one is heading to. There have been many stand up comedies, what’s app forwards and tongue in cheek cartoons aimed at this but I feel we are quick to ignore these warning bells and laugh it off merely as a humour. So many have lost lives clicking selfies at dangerous spots but we are too slow to understand the implications. Are we really a generation of dimwits and our cell phones smarter than us? Only God save us in such situation…!All pictures Courtesy- https://unsplash.com

How long is 'Long Term' in Equity?
 Manoj Arora
 16 March 2018

For someone running the last 100 meters of a 42 Km marathon, one sec can seem to be quite a time. On the other hand, to change a simple habit in your life, a decade may seem quite small. Long Term, therefore, is a relative term in life. But it is not so in equity investments. Whether it is mutual funds or stocks, we can define Long Term quite precisely, clearly and objectively - with logical data points.Let us see how.'Being Dead' as an Investment StrategyFidelity Investments recently conducted a study in the US to find out what kind of investments provided the best returns. The results were startling for anyone who feels is a smart investor. The study revealed that the highest returns were from investors who had completely forgotten about their investment for years, or even decades. A good proportion of these investors who were enjoying amazing returns, had actually died a long time ago. The study, therefore, concluded that the most profitable strategy may be to do exactly what a dead person would do - which is nothing. Why should we define 'Long Term'?A long-term investment is often associated with lesserrisk. We just understood from the above study that the longer the term, the lesser the risk - since volatility is averaged out over a period of time.To augment our statement, just have a look at the last 5 year returns of BSE Sensex:9% , 42% , -9% , 16% & 10%The overall annual returns stand at 13%Now, 13% is a fabulous annual return on your investment - but the variability (volatility) is high. During any short period, you could face poor returns - or even losses (as in Year 3). These poor returns are (over)compensated by a great occasional phase (as in Year 2). As you increase the term, the risk will keep reducing. But how long should we keep increasing the Term of investment? For sure, we do not want to die just trying to get good returns. We want to get the returns and use them too - in this lifespan. Isn't the purpose of an investment to get the returns and use the money as well as the returns arising from it? What use is the money if it just keeps growing and you die of old age? The end purpose of money and investments was always to spend it optimally, so as to facilitate happiness in our life. Therefore, to strike a balance, we must define a Long Term investment tenure where we have a fairly reduced risk and we can also use the investment and the returns for the purpose it was intended to. Thus, we should be able to precisely answer the question, "How long is long-term in Equity?"How does our Law define 'Long Term'?Tax Laws are often quite strange, to say the least. Indian IT Act defines Long Term on equity investments after a period of 1 year (12 months). So, does that mean that any equity investment done for more than a year is a truly long-term and therefore, relatively quite safe? Not really!Ironically, on the other hand, any investment done in debt based funds are considered as long-term from a taxation perspective only if you stay invested for at least 3 years. So, are we saying that debt investments are riskier as compared to equity investments - and therefore need a longer duration to average out the risk? It is actually the reverse. Debt based investments are less volatile and therefore less risky as compared to Equity investments. So, we cannot go by the definition of tax laws to define the right tenure of any Long-Term Investments.Defining 'Long Term' logicallyIf you analyze the data for a typical mutual fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 1 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 160% (best 1-year return ever)b) Minimum returns are -57% (worst 1-year return ever)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 2 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 82% (Annualised best return ever - over 2 years period)b) Minimum returns are -34% (Annualised worst return ever - over 2 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 3 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 63% (Annualised best return ever - over 3 years period)b) Minimum returns are -18% (Annualised worst return ever - over 3 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 4 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 59% (Annualised best return ever - over 4 years period)b) Minimum returns are -8% (Annualised worst return ever - over 4 years period)If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 5 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 54% (Annualised best return ever - over 5 years period)b) Minimum returns are 4% (Annualised worst return ever - over 5 years period)This means that the minimum annualized returns you could have made annually if you would have invested in the worst possible fund would have been 4%. Do not go by the dwarf-ness of 4% CAGR. Try and understand the significance of this statement. Here is the crux. There was no feasible way that you could have made any loss in equity market if you would have stayed invested for 5 years - since your returns were going to be between 4% and 54%.Let us just go one step ahead. If you analyze the data for a typical fund with a multi-decade history over all the possible 10 year periods, you will find that:a) Maximum returns are 30% (Annualised best return ever - over 10 years period)b) Minimum returns are 13% (Annualised worst return ever - over 10 years period)Wow !! A worst-case annual returns of 13% !!What else you want equity investments to deliver to you? Of course, that is if you stay invested for 10 years. The above statistics clearly puts the minimum term of investment to be 5 years and the optimum term of investment in equity to be somewhere between 5 and 10 years i.e. 7 years and above. 7+ years is an investment term wherein you get good enough returns with significantly lesser risk. Therefore, in equity investments - long term is not a vague term. It is 7 years+ investment horizon - also validated by 7-year equity cycles.CheersManoj AroraOfficial Website | My Mission

HOUSE HUSBAND----A MATTER OF PRIDE ….OR A NEW CHALLENGEAncient sayings and proverbs glorified the marriage and relationships to great extents. Like, a girl must stay in home and cook, look after the needs of family, while a guy’s work was to earn money and support the family financially. As days passed by, both of them started working and sharing all their works to lead a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle. They needed to save amount for their future too.And now, role reversal is at its peaks. Heavy works, night shifts, tight deadlines, both men and women are capable of everything today. A new trend in recent years is the concept of 'house husband'.. Imagine, a guy staying at home, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes and managing the entire home. How cool it is!! But it isn't as cool as you imagine. Reality is far different from the beautiful imagination one dreams of. A lot of drawbacks come along with this innovative new trend. Yes, even while seeking suggestions for this write up, a few people asked me the same question " Why can't this happen? Many years back, girls stayed at home, taking care of everything. Now why can't guys do the same? Let guys too enjoy the comfort of home for a few years." The point here is not just about the comfort of home or role reversal. It's about sharing responsibilities and staying together.Okay, let's take a stand between both, a house wife and a house husband. A house wife wakes up early, cooks for the family, helps her family members in getting ready and completes any petty works if any. Rest of the day, till her family members return home, she is free. She doesn't have any compulsory task to complete. In the evening, her routine works begin again. What does she do in the meanwhile? In specific, how does she spend the time from 10- 3? A lot of options are there. Gardening, reading, craft works, even watching television serial is considered a decent hobby nowadays. She could learn new stuffs, even new recipes to cook or an idea of getting a new friend even wouldn’t be that bad. Anyhow she would make the best use of her time. Now imagine a house husband. He does the same work in the mornings and evenings as a house wife does. But the mean time?? How could he make the best use of this time? Obviously, many activities are there. But remember the basic psychological fact, a guy cannot stay in the same place for hours together. Even in our homes we have examples. A girl child would stay at home playing with dolls for the whole day. But a boy can't stay at home even for two or three hours completely.( we all would have experienced this even by our own self.)See, we can't blame guys here. Basically, they are gifted with strong physical and mental strength than women. That is why, they are unable to put all their energy within their home. They are basically designed so. And coming to the point, a house husband goes around the city for the whole day, roaming here and there. What would happen eventually? His wife would be struggling in office and he would be casually going here and there. Would it look nice??Another major constraint is money. The earning man gives his salary to his wife and she allocates money for all expenses. That is the practice in most of the homes today. A man may earn in lakhs, but the proper planning and investment can only be done by a girl. So a housewife can easily allocate money for her expenses. But in the case of house husband, a man's ego and self respect would get hurt to great extents if he asks his wife for money.         It's not an issue. Not just guys, every human being, after a certain age, wants to be independent or wants the money to be in their hands. Asking money for getting a newspaper or even a cool drink would be awkward. Coming to personal thoughts, a guy can come home late night after work, he can go anywhere, no need of suspecting him (90% cases, women don't suspect or shout). But a guy staying at home while his wife doing night shift, is not that applicable. Seeds of suspicion and doubt would automatically come after a certain period of time. Last and the least bothersome issue is our society. Our society would blame everything. "A girl or guy, whomever it may be, they shouldn't stay at home." A statement given by so called 'social people'. And that can be completely ignored. Coming to the other perspectives, it will be completely new to try out such stuffs. And experimenting that will give an enriching experience too. Remember the days when women spoke of bringing a new change and started working. Like the same, this could turn out to be a beautiful bond. But a great risk in this relationship is, ' a guy must never opt to be a house husband just because he didn't clear his arrears or that he can't get a job. This is not a new try. This is just another way of escaping from one's duties and responsibilities’. And believe it, this would make his life terrible. Because deep in his mind, he would get fixed like he is capable of nothing but household chores. And if he ever feels difficulty in his work as a house husband, then his great imagination has higher chances of becoming a night mare.Mutual understanding, care and concern, trust, promises hold a greater place in this relationship. Suspicion, doubt, inferiority complex are common for both genders. It's all about how a person tackles it and how he responds to people. If guys of their age earn in lakhs and have a car or home of their own, then house husbands should be in a position to give them apt replies instead of making their own selves feel inferior. And he should let go off his ego before asking for money or anything. Always keep in mind, you have become a house husband out of your own wish, not anyone else’s.Remember, people would talk with you, behind you and about you, either in a good or bad way. You cannot paste their mouths, instead you can change your own perspective. And, a point should be always taken into consideration. Men are blessed with stronger abilities only to support women, be it a house husband or a working person. Being a house husband should not push him to heights of laziness and a wonderful zone of comfort.Life is all about challenges. A person with a proper vision and goal towards future, one who is willing to set new trends, someone who is adaptable to changes and more importantly a man who is willing to take up job again, if something goes wrong, can experiment with this bond. New stuffs generally take time. Once you have taken a decision, just go with it. but always remember, becoming a house husband should be a matter of choice and consent, not of escapism and laziness.....#smblogcontest

When Women Stopped eating leftovers : A Picture Which Must Change
 Surender Negi
 18 March 2018

Being Indian, some news brings you shame. This kind of news is one of them. In 21st CE, Where the whole world watches us with their understanding of this century shamed us for such gender discrimination. In distance village of Rajasthan, Banswara. Few NGO went and found that there is a tradition for women. In this tradition, women eat after his male partner and family. eventually, NGO found that it is gender discrimination and they started to educated women groups. Ironically, Many parts of India these kinds of practice is social norms. These kinds of practice have been unchanged in many decades. Many people saw them as regressive practice or culture which comes from Hinduism but for few of them, it’s only outdated tradition which must go as we live in the 21st Century.  For Original article please go throw the below mention link:When women stopped eating leftovers?Irrespective of many arguments that this behavior comes from the patriarchal culture of Indian society, I disagree with this notion. I don’t think so original and fundamental culture of India was male patriarchal in nature. All original scripture which has founded Hinduism agreed on one simple fact:“Women should be worship like Goddess and Their respect brings Devas (deities) into the home”. (Paraphrased from Manusmriti)There are several examples where we Indians celebrated the world most taboo things. Sex (Kamasutra is one of the celebrated book in Indian culture about sex) symbols and position. There is temple which is dedicated to sex and sexual posture. I don’t find that people were having about watching these images together.Khajuraho images which show various posture of sexual activities. (Source: The Wire)So how can a society which gives sex (A widely accepted taboos in all Abrahamic religion) images a place in their temple has become such regressive that they were not allowing women to eat together? It simply baffled me.More than half (51%) of all Indian women of reproductive age have anemia, according to the Global Nutrition report 2017. While our women are not allowed to eat properly. This is a shame situation. But as I was expecting, few readers who have novice understanding about everything had tried to link it with North Indian states, few consider that it’s the fault of Hinduism and few consider that it’s due to our society which has regressive structure.I would like to remind all Indians, It is our burden to remove such practices out of the window and the real reason for such discrimination practice amongst women has nothing to do with Hinduism or It’s ancient culture. For understanding that women position in Indian society please go throw my blog:Women In Hinduism – Part OneWomen in Hinduism.(Wikipedia)We must need to accept that after Mugal invasion (I am not blaming here Mugal but the patriarchy culture they bring in India) our culture has been decayed and it is not inline with our scripture which gives women freedom, allow them social and civil rights. Slowly the local practices turn out to be more patriarchy. But I would like to share an example, which no Indian can be denied and that is the proof that still Indian culture have not inhibit complete patriarchy. When I was a kid. My father used to hard work. I have seen him giving complete salary to my mother (who was the housewife and earn nothing). I have seen him asking money from my mother for his daily expanse. This is the story of millions Hindus household. I never have seen such practice in other culture. Male used to keep all money and give a small number of women for their need. But the above mention practice is a popular culture amongst Hindu family which shows that financial owner of the family is “Women”, They have been termed as “DhanLaxmi” or “Finance Ministers”.So, In my point of view. This kind of practice happening because of Illiteracy. We need a massive drive of literacy (Dharmic and Modern). We need to teach people what they are doing is against of their culture and Modern values.Only Education and Social awareness can bring the change we want. Abusing a culture (which certainly no one understands because of its complexity) is novice attempt to shed of responsibilities. Blaming mindless way will help no one.We must not forget what Upanishads told us about eating habit in the family:And if a man wishes that a learned daughter should be born to him, and that she should live to her full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with sesamum and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring. And if a man wishes that a learned son should be born to him, and that he should live his full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with meat and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring.— BRIHADARANYAKA UPANISHAD 6.4.17 – 6.4.18,The irony with Indians is that We are being more animal after leaving our dharma education. It is time when we bring back the dharmic culture back to our society.

The Islamic mafia of Bollywood
 Surender Negi
 18 March 2018

On August 12,1997 a loud series of shots rang out outside the Jeeteswar Mahadev Mandir in Mumbai. They were just one in a sequence of warnings about the state of our nation, and yet just as before, we Hindus refuse to wake up and face the truth. The event that occurred outside the Mahadev Mandir in Mumbai that fateful day, was not particularly outstanding when seen in the context of the daily reinforcement of the fact that India is in the hands of Muslim terrorists. The victim on this particular day happened to be a plump, short media baron, known as Gulshan Kumar.Who was Gulshan Kumar, the Cassette King? He started out life as a humble fruit juice seller's son in Old Delhi. He wanted to make it big in Bombay and he did, by cooking up innovative ways to pirate popular music. Super Cassette Industries, his flagship company and its low price high volume strategy ushered in a musical revolution. Pretty soon he had the leader of the pack , HMV India itself, chomping at the bits in order to compete with him. Using all of his fortunes from his music production company in Noida, near Delhi to finance his film production business, Gulshan Kumar soon became the owner of a vast 400 crore rupee empire.. He was the highest tax payer for the financial year 1992-93.It was with his foray into the Indian film industry that Gulshan took his first step into the jaws of the Muslim Mafia network without which Bollywood simply can not exist. For decades the film industry has been the money-spinning machine and media arm of the Islamic Mafia. The Indian film industry serves a twofold purpose for the international Islamic Mafia which is headquartered in UAE and Pakistan . 1) With a turnover of over Rs. 7000 Crore, the Indian film industry has become one of the biggest money making operations for the Islamic Mafia. Although it is not as profitable as drug-trafficking, sale of illegal arms, prostitution rings or counterfeit money, it certainly does help to line the pockets and provides valuable interface to politicians and industrialists who are enamored of the glamour and glitter of Cinema magic. 2) But the real reason why the Indian film industry is so important to the Islamic Mafia, is the fact that it serves as the best possible propaganda tool in a country of over 950 million people. A blatant glorification of Islam and an utterly distorted insulting portrayal of Hinduism are the tools that it uses constantly to affect Indians' psyche and effectively utilize information warfare. Hindu culture is consistently given the mantle of a backward, intolerant, illogical culture, whereas Islamic concepts, ideas, and judgments are given the legitimacy of truth. One of the most successful byproducts of this psychological manipulation has been the corruption of Hindi, via the glorification of Arabicised Urdu words. In popular films and music, Urdu is always used in order to condition the Indian public. In other instances, terrorism which usually stems from Islamic quarters in India , is attributed to Hindu groups in movies! Islamic terrorists are portrayed as martyrs on screen. Islamic ideas are touted as progressive whereas Hindu ideals are dismissed as outdated and illiterate. Urdu is the language of "civilized" sophisticates, Hindi is the language of "Ganwaars" or village idiots. These are just a few examples of the objectives which the control of Bollywood provides to the Islamic Mafia. On August 12, 1997 , nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary as the familiar portly figure of Gulshan Kumar attired in white kurta stepped out of his car in front of the Jeeteswar Mahadev Mandir that fateful day. A simple Thali of offerings for worship of Lord Shiva swayed in his plump hands as he started walking towards the shrine. His devotion to the divine had been steadfast in its earnestness. A huge portion of his wealth had gone into beautifying and enhancing the pilgrimage experience of Vaishno Devi for pious devotees. It was his efforts which had rekindled the sound of early morning Bhajans in Indian households all over the country. Despite the allegations of piracy and fraud, he had focused all his energies into what he viewed as an offering to God. As the assassins pumped his frame with bullets, the last words heard by Gulshan Kumar were:"Bahut ho gayi teri puja, ab upar ja ke aur karo" (You have prayed enough to your idols down here, now go up there and do it.) A chilling reminder of the fact that Islam and the Islamic Mafia will do its best to eliminate any Hindu who dares to reaffirm his faith loud and clear in India . Who were Gulshan Kumar's enemies? What was his crime? The clues to the answer apparently lie with music director Nadeem Saifee. In 1997, Nadeem's solo album Hai Ajnabi bombed. He wanted Gulshan Kumar to finance his next private album. Gulshan Kumar wisely decided that Nadeem was not destined to be a chartbuster and refused outright. An enraged Nadeem who was obviously used to displaying arrogance in lieu of his Islamic godfather's protection started threatening Kumar saying "Have you got a call or not? My "Chahnewaale" (friends) will call you. You don't know who I am."By May 1997, Abdul Qayoom Ansari alias Abu Salem, a 29-year-old Dubai-based member of the Islamic Mafia, who is also known as one of the "arms" of kingpin Dawood Ibrahim, had called up Gulshan Kumar on his mobile and curtly told him to call back at a Dubai mobile number. When Gulshan called the number back, an amount to the tune of 10 Crore Rupees was quoted and Kumar was threatened with dire consequences if he failed to cough up the dough. Kumar, a man who had managed to survive in the Film Industry long enough without giving in to the Islamic Mafia of ISI's underworld dons, refused to pay outright. Even when Abu Salem sent his Mullah terrorists to Gulshan in person, the wary devotee refused to budge an inch.  Who is Abu Salem??He is accused number 87 in the Bombay bomb blast case. He was charged with procuring nine AK-56 rifles at the command of Dawood's brother Anees Ibrahim. Mumbai courts issued an arrest warrant against him in 1993 ``for conspiracy to cause explosions with intent to cause death and damage to property.'' If caught and convicted he faces the death penalty. In 1995, Interpol had issued a Red Corner alert for him. In 1997, the UAE government received extradition papers for Salem from the CBI upon request. The first ever trap (which is known as `fielding', in the underworld slang) was laid with the blessing of nadeem and his "godfather" Dawood . The trap for killing Gulshan Kumar was laid between July 15 and 20, while he was shooting for his forthcoming untitled film at the Jasdanwala Bungalow at Aqsa Beach , Malad. Two teams from the gang maintained a watch on his movements but failed to strike either because of the milling crowds around him, or for the fact that he was shielded by his Punjabi bodyguard. When Gulshan Kumar refused Abu Salem's threats of extortion, he was enraged at the "Kafir" Hindu's insolence and ordered the hit. Apart from Kumar's 250-crore annual turnover from Super Cassettes and Music Industries, his religiosity and lavish expenditure for devotional purposes including a `langar' at Vaishnodevi temple, where Rs 5 lakh was spent every month had become eyesores for the Islamic Mafia. Abu Salem had been chosen as the key operational head in Bombay by Dawood himself , due to his incredibly cruel and brutal nature. He was also given charge of handling extortions and hawala transactions on Dawood's behalf. In April, Abu Salem began by calling up top film producers asking them to pay up. About 20 top film personalities were personally contacted by Salem over the span of two months. The figures he quoted as extortion payments were in hundreds of crores. Over 95% of the Movie moguls simply paid and never informed the police. Salem 's men attacked producer-director Rajiv Rai at his Tardeo office, which led Rai to flee to London . He never returned since. Later that April an attempt was made on Subhash Ghai's life which was foiled by alert police. Salem himself had telephoned Subhash Ghai asking him to pay up. The Indian Film Industry was serving its purpose as the money making the machine which churned out Millions of Rupees in liquid assets for Dawood and ISI to create mayhem, death and destruction all over India. Not one moviemaker had the guts to resist, every single one of them was deeply involved in this deep-seated treachery and anti-national activity which killed Indian citizens every day. Was it simply because Gulshan Kumar did not give in to this nefarious plan, that his body lay riddled with bullets in front of the Temple steps in Mumbai that day? Hardly. As the details began trickling in, it became apparent that the plot to kill Gulshan Kumar had been hatched on June 12 at Dubai when a galaxy of Indian stars participated in the opening of a luxury hotel owned by Vivek Goswami a narcotics dealer linked to Chota Rajan another underworld non-resident Indian don. As investigations continued, more rivalries began surfing. Ramesh Taurani - owner of Tips another rival to Super Cassette, was identified as an associate of Dawood Ibrahim's gang. The investigation led the police to interview filmstars Pooja Bhat, Salman Khan and Shravan among others. Bollywood's links with Mumbai's underworld were always known. But the extent of its involvement with the Islamic Mafia became apparent only after Gulshan Kumar's death, a man who was murdered simply because he was a Hindu success story. "When the underworld approaches you, you cannot refuse.", these were the chilling words of Nadeem Saifee, the main accused in the Gulshan Kumar murder case. A month later a casual friend of Gulshan Kumar and writer-director Mukul Anand died unexpectedly of a "heart attack" in his sister's home in Mumbai. Anand had been in the process of making a movie on Kashmir which went against the Islamic Mafia's propaganda plans. The film was being shot in USA on the pretext that the environs resembled those of Kashmir . The reality was quite different. Anand had been threatened and he and several of his associates were frightened enough to go into hiding when they returned to India to raise more money for the movie. A relative of the executive producer was slain by a killer on a motorbike. And then all of a sudden Mukul Anand suffered a surprise "heart attack".What is even more shocking to discover is that EIGHT months before Abu Salem ordered the cold blooded of Gulshan Kumar , the CBI had requested his extradition from the UAE government. However, the request became just another of the 35 others pending with the Government of United Arab Emirates and like the other requests, this too was put on the backburner. The CBI is not too optimistic about getting back any of the members of the Dawood gang, hawala dealers and arms and drugs smugglers who are responsible for the most heinous crimes committed against India .The Arab provision of shelter to these hard core terrorists and criminals provides convincing evidence that the conspiracy to create chaos and panic in India stems from the Islamic world in general. Dawood Ibrahim follows and carries out the directives of Pakistan 's ISI and oil rich Arabs, who take pride in their Islamic fanaticism. It is he and his deputies who mastermind all of the major terrorist attacks and hardcore crimes which take place in India . As the disturbing facts about Gulshan Kumar's murder were unearthed, an incredible pattern of internally linked networks which are sustained by the Islamic Mafia become apparent. The crimes begin with low level extortions and proceed higher up the ladder with the all too willing Indian movie industry, as well as heads of major corporations in India and finally goes all the way up to the politicians who hold the highest positions in the land. The breadth and depth of this net of crime and the virulently anti Indian activities it breeds are spread unimaginably far. The extent of involvement is so deep, that the public knows not even one hundredth of the details of this story.Original Post : Islamic Mafia of Bollywood: Death of Gulshan Kumar#smblogcontest

Traces to look for Indian Youth Writers
 saurabh pant
 22 March 2018

In the world of global competition, desperation to prove and a virtual asset to involve upon; Indian authors find it a tedious task to prove rise and perform according to their family challenges and expectations of their own support rising ahead. However, there is a way to solve the desperate thirst and help yourself to become a better author if you are a youth and belong to India willing to rise as a writer/author in the demanding culture of the competitive environment in the gust and proving prosperity of the writing. What the Youth from India needs to acquire is the understanding that writing is an art or a passion and not a money-spinner business which they suppose it to be generally in present circumstances. They have to believe in them rather than believing the economic consequences to turntable ahead. What is more to it that they must take virtual personal writing training and learn the skill and art of writing in their early ages? People around the world today starts to write from age of 14 or 16, But even after publishing many books at such age they only become personally perfect at the age of 21-22 thus the Indian youths have to express themselves with global output open to them, but they need to require an understanding of proper balance that can help them generate proper writing calibre rather than search of the money-spinner responses. Today youths are told that what their future goals can be and how to cherish the similar passion all across the world and similar to it happening in India, thus what youths need to learn as rising writers that they not lose their patience and perfect their duration to be a better author. They can ask for a durational period from their parents and work accordingly to become an accomplished star in the field of writing by obliging such duration in perfection, standardizing and maintaining a grip on the skill and art of writing indeed. It takes time to become a nurtured author even in the 21st century and by such virtue, an author has to accomplish himself/herself to be in the potentiality of proper writing skill so he/she can achieve. Thereby take the time to perfect yourself and don't be ashamed of having such time taking experience, You need to learn ups and downs of writing and once you are done so, You may find that you are a much more matured author than you used to be at the age of 14/15 when you began your writing dream indeed...

INDIAN ELECTION
 Suraj Kumar
 1 April 2018

Indian ElectionElections is basically a decision which is taken by the public to choose an individual to run a district, state or a country. Elections not only help in forming a government but it also helps in private organizations. The election came in practice from the Vedic period. The king used to elect another king from their sons. At that time there was no role of the public in elections. When the country did not get free and there was British rule in India, elections were held at that time also. But when India got independent, Indian public also got an opportunity to participate in the electoral process and to vote his/her choice of an individual. The process of vote transactions is called the election which is used to maintain the status of democracy.  These political programs began to establish in the year 1950 and were established in the form of the non-lateral program. In 70’s election were held after every 5 years. The election commission is the main functioning body which conducts and regulates the election. The schedule is also prepared by the election commission. This commission is a constitutional body. It prepares the electoral rolls, voter id cards and makes an election booth where the public can come and vote for their individual. This body keeps an eye on everything happening in a booth so that no discrepancy should occur. It also appoints staff for supervising the election. The commission issues some code of conduct and all the party have to strictly follow certain codes. These code of conduct are basically some guidelines which need to be followed by political parties and candidates. On the day of the election, people used to visit the booth and vote for their candidate either through ballot paper method or electronic method. The voting is done area wise and once the process voting is completed the counting of votes are done in the presence of candidates. The one who gets the largest number of votes is declared elected by the district magistrate. The scenario of Indian election- In India, a person above the age of 18 has the right to vote and play a prominent role in forming a government. The preparation of election starts in advance. Every party finds a way to convince people to vote them by making banners, poster or organizing rallies and meeting people and giving a speech to convince them. Some also try to convince people by going door to door for votes. There is a chief officer is assigned to each and every polling booth who supervise all the arrangements and ensures that voting is done fairly and smoothly.  The voting begins in the morning and ends at 5pm. But there are some parties who use unfair means of getting votes. These parties give money to poor people and many more things just for getting votes.  They create a political atmosphere. Just because of these guys India is not able to grow. Today everyone wants to be an engineer or a doctor but no one wants to be a politician. In fact, everyone just ignores the politics happening in front of them just by thinking why to dip our hands in this. In my point of view a sweeper is much better than these politicians, at least he dumps in sewage and cleans the dirt of the city. After 70 years of independence also India is said to be a backward country and the reason is public. We are the one encourages corruption and for some money, we give a vote to the wrong party who does not deserve to be elected. We are the one who thinks of ourselves and not about our country and just say that politics has ruined our country. Its neither politics nor corruption it's we who have destroyed our country. In India, there are many ways through which unfair polling is done. Either the politicians bribe the public or they give them warning to give them vote or else they will hurt them or their respective family members. Even these politicians bribe the officials to change the counting of the vote. No one knows how they did but they did it.    Constitution of India is the supreme law and this law is been copied by other countries law. Our constitution is a compilation of many countries law and this shows why India is still a developing country. India is a democratic country, we are secular and we must have a separate constitution. If this change is done it might change our country.Apart from this India is captured by reservation also. Even in elections reservation quota is there in which some Lok Sabha seats are allocated to reserved category. In India’s Parliament, there are 543 seats and out of which 84 are reserved for another category. This reservation is now misused by the politicians for their vote bank. The politicians have an added advantage over this category for their vote bank. They support a reserved category to get some votes. This nuisance is supported by them just for a vote. Reservation is a painkiller. Instead of killing the problem, nipping it in the bud, they hide the symptom and harm the body in the long run. Reservations by design, cannot help those who are genuinely oppressed, but only those who are incompetent.Importance of voting-Voting is important because it gives the right to a common person to choose his or her ruler. The public gets an indirect control over the functioning of government and they also have the power to raise a voice against unfair meansVoting is our right and we all should actively participate in the election and only then we’ll have good governance.Today India is also on his knees and it needs someone to who can run this country properly. If we all can come together and fight for GST then we all can also fight for corruption. First, we need to change ourselves then only we can change the world. Instead of promoting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan first we should look inside ourselves and become a Swachh person then only India can become Swachh.

Book Review- Chakravyuh
 Shweta Kesari
 6 April 2018

Book Review- ChakravyuhI was greeted with some family drama and corporate stuff but was not impressed with the storyline, at the beginning, itself. Although I quite liked the way he expressed his thoughts, the excitement a good book should draw in the very beginning was missing. There are some events which one would like to read either from the first person or second person, but here the events unwrapped through third person's perspective. That part of the story didn't make much impact as it could make through first or second person's perspective.Such as the incident of Nikki and Varun! His observations on day-to-day episodes that he had inculcated to be a part of this book don't go with the flow of the story. There are some usual kinds of stuff he talked about, which we encounter in most of the stories. Thus, the content didn't sound appealing to me. The only hope I had in the journey was the Chakravyuh they are going to face. Tomy surprise, story-line ended on a good account, but what completely lacked is the participation of interesting and engaging events. It seemed like the incidents were written without much of a though, just the normal stuff anyone can think about. Especially, the conversation that takes part. Fine with the regular events, but he could have done more brainstorming while presenting the story before readers.Even if a writer is blessed with a good storyline and a soothing writing style, one thing I found lacking in most of the work I see these days is the participation of healthy events. Writers are unsure as to what to share with the readers. What could go well with the story, and what could make the journey an effortless ride, is a must thing to work on. Even broken incidents start to make sense when they are interesting. But, in this case, incidents are not fruitful enough to serve a flavourful story to the readers. In addition to that, There are some minor typos here and there like some missing letters, replacement of him with her which could be avoided. All I would like to say is, there are plenty of books in the market. If the reader spends his time, money and effort, he would expect the same from the work of the author. Jitendra definitely has a good plot with him, and he could do much more with this, all he needs to work upon is how to strategize healthy events.Rating: 2/5Reviewer: Shweta Kesari

Safety of women is our moral responsibility
 Harsha Darji
 10 April 2018

Girls should be Understood, Listen to them how they feel, Appreciate them the way they are, Be with them when they need you the most, Help them to overcome insecurity, In isolated place do take care if you find her trapped..But sad to it does not happen, coz we do not consider it as our moral responsibility to keep our girls safe.Society is male dominated, so we fail to see how girls actually suffer and go through pains in everyday of their life. Whether it’s standing alone for bus, at railway station, in school, colleges, at jobs, working in police or army, being a housewife or being a daughter in law.Girl goes through molestation & domestic violence, even by their near & dear ones whom they trust the most. Our society has created boundaries for a girl how to dress, how to go around, where to sit, when to talk, how much to study, when to get married & even her career path is decided by the parents or in laws if they allow her to work. Why can’t people be normal with girl’s behaviour? Everybody has their own brains & can distinguish between good or bad, between right & wrong, pro & cos of the action that they take. Why does our society teach girls all the times & not the guys to be decent with their acts?Even if we dressed up in jeans, suit or sari men still tend to see you from top to bottom like an x-ray machine, plz ask us how uncomfortable it feels to be there. Woman can’t even feed their babies in public coz it makes it awkward for her.In offices if you talk nicely with any guy, go for dinner or a cup of coffee, people start assuming that there is something fishy between the two & people start giggling, passing comment, rumours etc etc & makes hostile work environment for a girl to work. Educated people at good level entertain this sort of nonsense. If after office a girl miss the bus & a male colleague drop her at home, society people starts talking rubbish “raat ko late aatti hai, kitne ladko se chakkar hai” & try to spoil her image & name for no reason.Showing condolence with few incidents like rape, child abuse, teasing & molesting does not make sense, coz that is done to gain political vote, to be in limelight, or to increase your TRP & make money out of it.A coin has two side & society should learn to see both the side without being biased. #smblogcontest

STOP fraud in digital transactions
 StoryMirror Feed
 11 April 2018

StoryMirror interviewed ThirdWatch and all about their venture. Here is what they have to say.Q. Tell us about yourself and your backgroundThirdWatch is about stopping fraud in digital transactions. We are avid e-commerce shoppers and has been shopping online since 2005 indiaplaza days when we used to order books online. Couple of years back I was trying to order TV for my Dad who lives in Greater Noida on one of the top 2 e-commerce sites of India however it was not taking the order despite being prepaid. When I ordered the same item to my Gurgaon address it came through. On digging deeper we found that fraud/abuse is a big problem in e-commerce and companies sometimes use broad rules like blocking certain pin codes/cities/states and/or international credit from ordering which affect genuine users part from fraudulent.Given our experience in building big data mobile analytics system we felt confident that we can solve this problem by using Ai and big data hence started ThirdWatch in April 2016.Q. What's is your business all about? Our platform Mitra prevents fraud in digital, banking and e-commerce transactions in real time using AI. Our system captures 200+ parameters and flag every transaction in real time as red or green. It generates a risk score also which defines riskiness of the transaction.By superimposing data from our own knowledge base and from third party databases we enhance the data captured from user transaction like zip code databases , ip address databases, mobile number validity databases. We also use micro models for address profiling, device signature, account profiling and velocity profiling. We capture the whole user behavior including the time taken to place order, the device user is using to order, ip address of user, location of order amongst others. We are very stringent on data security and sign a strong NDA with our clients however we do use networks effects to multiply effectiveness of our platform by collating fraud patterns across the client base and inputting values in our ML algorithm for e.g. fraud rate of email domain, fraud rate or zip code, area and many more.Q. How do you see yourself in next 5 years? In near future we would expand to South East Asia, in long term we will expand into preventing other financial frauds including Insurance and fintech fraud.Q. Message to your customers and viewersFor every customer, Thirdwatch has always been a profit centre and never a cost centre. E-Commerce companies can avail a free 2 months trial, and can actually validate the benefit we are offering themselves.Q. Which are your main clients?  What is the process of integrations? How successful have you been in controlling such fradulent cases in India for these companies?Traction has been phenomenal since we launched, We are currently processing about 5000 transactions per day with a pipeline to reach 50000 transactions per day. Because of our NDA’s and agreements with our client we will not be disclosing clients list, but  we are working with two of the top10 E-commerce Companies of India Q. What is the background of the founders? How big is the team?Adarsh Jain (36) and Shashank Agarwal (28) came up with the idea of ThirdWatch and utilising Artificial Technology to prevent fraud in the e-commerce domain. A few years ago, Adarsh tried to buy a Television set from a leading e-commerce website from his father’s residential address in Noida. The order was unsuccessful due to the location from which it was ordered. The same order could be processed, however, from his Gurgaon address. The problem intrigued Adarsh and he started to research and find the root of this problem. He got to know about the problem e-commerce sellers face, relating to fraud and abuse by fraudulent sellers. Shashank and Adarsh have prior experience with technology solutions, with multiple patents and patent applications in their names individually. They thought of combining their efforts to come up with an all-in-one, smart solution for e-commerce platforms. With a team of 10-15 people at such an early stage of ThirdWatch, the business is growing at a tremendous pace. More people will be on-boarded soon as and when the business expands to other cities and countries.Q. Is your technology scalable to a level wherein it can be used in govt offices or banks? If yes, please give the details on when do you plan on expanding there.Currently, ThirdWatch enables e-commerce businesses to prevent fraud and abuses they come across in form of promo code abuses, chargeback frauds, RTOs, Cash on Delivery frauds, identity frauds, and much more. ThirdWatch's AI- Mitra can be definitely used by Government agencies and banks to detect fraudulent users and block risky transactions. With regards to banks, Mitra can be easily employed to detect fraudulent credit/debit card payments, fake users, multiple accounts held by users to make fraudulent transactions, etc. Mitra can also be useful in the Digital India and Cashless society initiatives undertaken by our Government. There are numerous websites and apps that enable us to transfer money, complete e-KYC, file returns, etc. However, the risks associated with these apps are similar to the risks faced by e-commerce sellers. With AI, detecting and preventing fraud for the Government and Banks is easily plausible!Q. Data security being the Crux in today's internet era, how do you ensure maintaining that? ThirdWatch ensures complete security of the data provided by our clients with its strict Non-Disclosure Policies and Security Measures. The data provided is only used for analysing it and highlighting the transaction into 'risky' and 'fake' transactions. The security parameters are never compromised, and we maintain unmitigated security standards for the data we receive from our clients.Social Media Handles - Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thirdwatchai/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/thirdwatch-data-pvt-ltd/Twitter - https://twitter.com/thirdwatchaiG+ - https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/110280512617140226197/110280512617140226197Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWWWl8h50-w5xuek0GtUEKQ

English Vinglish - A mania or a Phobia
 Harsha Darji
 12 April 2018

"Hindi Medium" ufff !!! this is rarely heard now a days. Ten to Fifteen years back we often heard parents saying that my child is studying in Hindi medium, Gujarati medium, Marathi medium, govt schools etc & they were comfortable enough to accept that their child is pursuing education in their local language. Studying in Mother tongue was consider as pride for the family years back, but now the picture of the entire education system has changed. English has become so mandatory, that the entire education system has being corrupted & has become a business. To seek admission in reputed school has become dreams for many & out of budget for the middle class family. Parents has to pass through high & lows to meet the demands of the luxurious school, coz it has created a mindset that child will not have good career & life if he/she does not study in convent schools or reputed english medium schools. children coming from the lower middle class family pass through mental depression if fees are not paid on time, money not given for extra curriculum activities or any development activities of such convent & luxuries school. Children are being tortured to such an extent that they do not want to go to school. Apart from school even Coaching classes has become business. Parents need to put their children in good coaching class or study center as well, which is equally costly as schools. I still do not understand, if parents are spending huge amount on school education, than why there is need for coaching class ???? The worst part is even after spending huge amount on both, children are still deprived of real education which means practical education instead of theoretical. Students mug up everything & vomit the same during exams, scores good, but forgets what he/she has learnt as years pass by. The govt schools are in such a bad shape, that the govt itself does not want to change their education system & way of learning. The govt schools are meant for poor this is the taboo that we have for it. The education given here is even more poor that students even cannot complain, neither parents can. If govt is funding to run the government school, than standard of education should be followed, the teacher should be monitored & audits should be conducted, so that education of these schools can be up to the mark, & all the schools whether private of govt are on same page. In fact, fees, education quality, all round development of child etc everything should on same page irrespective of private or govt school. Govt should take initiative to control fees hike & should standardize fees structure so that its affordable for parents & can give them a sigh of relief on their children education. Donations should be strictly stopped & legal action must be taken & must cancel the licences of such schools. Even in corporate world people give so much emphasis on communicating in English that good employees who really work up to the mark stay where they are & someone only with good English seeks promotion. Countries like Singapore, China, Hongkong, Macau & many more uses only their local language to communicate & even the software used are also in their local language. I do not think English is only life, yes is good to talk in English, but one should be comfortable in talking in their local language & should not be felt ashamed even if he/she is different in that crowd. I have seen people making fun of those who often make mistake while talking in English or has incorrect accent, grammar, pronunciation etc. Apart from this yes even though studying in English medium we often fear while going for an interview or writing emails, attending presentations, etc coz we fear of being laughed or criticized by others. English has created fear phobia & we often fail & feel helpless in our personal, social & professional life. Sad but Slowly we all have adopted this English speaking culture, etiquette, life style, way of talking & behaving, that we has lost real I, me & Myself in this RACE & have lost being our-self. Let's keep it simple, let it be any medium, but system of education should be same, standard, affordable, acceptable, and must have bright future for our upcoming generation, society & the nation. Language should not become hurdle in personal & professional life. I have just tried to highlight the painful struggles that parents go through for seeking admission in school, colleges, universities etc for their children. The system requires uniformity in laws & transformation to eradicate corruption & business out of our education system. #smblogcontest

Universial Basic Income
 Ayush Mathur
 8 June 2018

Many countries introduced variety of schemes and programs in past many  years to fight against poverty , equality and unemployment etc for the welfare of their country. But very few of them were adopted and implemented by different governments. Similarly a program termed as Universal Basic Income(UBI),Basic Income or Basic income Guarantee was introduced in order to fight against poverty and inequality in the country. This welfare program is a periodic, unconditional cash transfer to every citizen in the country. Here, social or economic positions of the individual are not taken into consideration. The concept of UBI has three main features. They are as following:1) UBI is universal in nature. It means UBI is not targeted.2)The second feature of UBI is cash transfer instead of in-kind transfer.3) UBI is unconditional. That means one need not prove his or her unemployment status or socio-economic identity to be eligible for UBI.Basic income can be implemented nationally as well as regionally or locally. Under UBI, only those with zero income will receive the full benefits in net terms. For those, who earn additional income over the basic income, the net benefits will taper off through taxation .So even though the basic income is universal, only the poor will receive the overall benefits. It's really important for the countries to adopt UBI as a form of social security. It will help in reducing inequality and eliminating poverty. Thus it ensures security and dignity for all individuals. UBI program has certain advantages in it's own way. It givesthe individuals freedom to spend the money in a way they choose. In other words, UBI strengthens economic liberty at an individual level. This would help them to choose the kind of work they want to do, rather than forcing them to do unproductive work to meet their daily requirements. UBI would be a sort of an insurance against unemployment and hence helps in reducing poverty. It will result in equitable distribution of wealth, only poor will receive the full net benefits. Besides these numerable benefits of UBI there are certain limitations as well which sometimes turns into argument like a guaranteed minimum income might make people lazy and it breeds dependency.  There is no guarantee that the additional income will be spent on education, health etc. there are chances that the money will be spent on ‘temptation goods’ such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs etc. Though UBI has many advantages, there are many practical challenges too. A transparent and safe financial architecture that is accessible to all is important for the success of the UBI.

Directionless Youth of our country
 Ayush Mathur
 12 June 2018

Today, India is one of the most populous countries in the world, out of which most of the population is youth. Youth percentage in India is more than 50%, young people are full of abundant energy, courage, a spirit of adventure, imagination, hope, and ambition. The young men and women of India should be fully involved and creative work of nation-building and reconstruction. The younger generation, which is more generous, flexible, sensitive and dynamic, can do wonders if properly guided and motivated. In fact, the Youth is the future of India. In our country, children always taught by their parents and elders from their childhood to score good marks and be competitive and practical in life, despite of teaching them life lessons about kindness, loyalty, humbleness, helping others, etc instead of that they were taught to be mean, self centered, money-minded etc. In schools, they just got bounded and trapped between walls that just teach them to study as it is whatever it is written in the book, they don't have any practical knowledge about how the world works, how to behave, how to react in difficult situations of life, how to get rid from the unwanted problems. They don't have direction in life, they are just blindly following each other like a flock of sheep. Most of the youth are not aware of what is right and what's wrong, they are in the age where their extreme emotions can turn them into completely different individuals. They start drugs in very young age because of peer pressure and then became an addict with the passage of time. Their Brain stops working after reaching at one point when they completely dissolve themselves in the addiction. We can take the example of Punjab, where 90% of its total youth population was drug addict once, they even don't get bothered by their families, relatives etc.  But all these reflect one-sidedness and lack of proper understanding on the part of the elders and grown-ups. The lifestyles youngsters adopt today are chosen either out of curiosity , peer pressure or fashion, alternatively stress, anxiety, and frustration drive them onto these paths. What is even more alarming is that the attraction of today's youth is no longer for ciggerate, tobacco, alcohol. These are now termed as soft items. The "in" things are cocaine, heroin, brown sugar which are so called as stress buster. Besides it, most of the young generation are living meaningless lives, they don't have any ambition or motives in their lives, they don't have dreams. They don't want chase success they are just living in a parallel universe where they just wanted that everything should work according to them. The time is declining very rapidly and now it's the time that they must realise that life won't work like this, they have to came out from the black hole that is attracting them everyday as soon as possible. They have to realise the meaning and importance of their life. They have to direction their lives in a particular way. The future of our country totally relies on the youth, they have to stop wasting their precious time and lives in drugs.

Book Title: The Wild CatAuthor: Taanya SarmaFormat: Paper BackTotal Number of Pages: 328Language: EnglishPublisher: Invincible PublishersPublishing Date: 21 December 2017ISBN-10: 9387328139ISBN-13: 978-9387328136Based on true events, this erotic thriller novel tells the tale of a young, naive woman named Tanya who enters the online dating and chat world. Her first foray into this digital realm initially proves to be bland and disappointing; however, sex, suspense, power struggles and attempted murder soon unfold. These unwelcome adventures interfere with her business and her sanity as she aspires to live up to her deceased parent’s standards.A conman named Sam ensnares Aaron, a handsome investment banker, into his ploy and uses him as a pawn to lure women into doing things they normally wouldn’t do. Sam then exposes their personal information as well as their images, sometimes in the act of cyber sex, and posts them on a very successful porn website that he owns. Tanya’s encounter with these two men evolves into a long, winding road, with each turn bringing irreparable changes in her life.Enraged by the deceit and the unconscionable behavior of these men, Tanya turns whistleblower and vows to assist the FBI in shutting down the dating app and porn site – and she won’t stop until the perverted perpetrators are behind bars. She never relents, but ultimately laments, “I never thought that I would have to give up my life to remain alive.”ReviewsA very interesting book, especially for young girls to understand the danger that exists in this society with online predators ~ Alma Guzman, Executive Producer Hollywood.Sex, suspense, power, struggle, murder attempt and well developed characters. This book has all the masala to be the next blockbuster Bollywood flick. A must read for sure. ~ RJ Khurki, Zabardast Hit 95 FM Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. This gripping story based on true events will keep you hooked till the very last page. ~ Antil, ScoopwhoopMY TAKEStarting from the book cover the first impression is the best impression the foremost thing which I liked in the book is the beautiful cover and its little unusual title “The Wild Cat” it indeed developed the curiosity within me to know what author meant by it.   The lower half of a girl’s face and below it is the night view of a city with buildings in the middle of the cover title with sub title. The Wild Cat A deviant tale of a young woman, a banker and a conman who happen to meet on dating website. The Cover is beautiful and attractive. Title is also perfect for the plot. The story revolves around the line of protagonist Tanya aka Iron Angel, Dorothy, Adam, Mr. U W, Aaron aka Phantom or Alpha, Mrs. Martha, Sarah, Monica , Sam Baker aka call as Nick Baker or Cobra, Newguyintown,Notorious, Aunt Iris, Rookie, Venom, Rebel Queen, Rex, Mr. & Mrs. Baker, Stephanie Owens, Schmidt, Jeff Simpson, Dali, Frida. This is the story of female protagonist Tanya an art gallery owner inherited from her father. She lost her mother in her early age and her father had brought her up but later her father passed away in an accident. She was a alone and only have the support of her best friend Dorothy.  Dorothy is dating online through an app which matches with a person of similar interest and lets them talk in a group or one -one.Tanya also downloads the app iVoice once she learns that she has been using it to date this person who is the owner of a sexy voice according to her. iVoice is a dating app but the twist is that it’s not like any other dating app. It’s a dating app based on voices of different people. One can only connect with another person she is interested in by hearing his voice. No real names, no identities. Just voice. The application has a option to lock in the phone number and also has a voice changer option if any user feels not to reveal their own voice. Tanya, aka Iron Angel on iVoice comes across another user called Adam who invites her to a private chat. Adam apparently is married and is a father to three kids. He shows signs of perversion and voyeurism and have cybered (cyber sex) quite a few times but his wife doesn’t mind even when she knows about his addiction. I don’t know why. Even his therapist knows about it but takes no step to stop him from his adventures. Tanya and Adam end up talking about the colours of underwear they wear, whether they wash hands after peeing, whether they sleep in PJs or sleep naked. I mean, girl you are talking to a virtual stranger and you haven’t even seen his face and you are already talking about penises, panties and thongs!! Like, seriously. I was exasperated at her common sense. He could have turned out to be an old pimp who doesn’t think twice before killing innocent girls. Anyways, coming to the second user Phantom; he is the lead male protagonist in this book. Aaron aka Phantom turns out to be an investment banker and is pretty civil when they first engage in conversation. He isn’t a creep like the two other users she had interacted previously. They almost talk everyday. As days pass, Tanya becomes more addicted to this app and starts to feel “soft” for Aaron. It’s trap. There’s always some people lurking in the background to pounce on when they are presented with opportunities. There’s one such person in this iVoice app too. He gains a large sum of money by selling of phone numbers and private images of the girls who uses this app. When Tanya comes to know about this and learns that Aaron is also linked with this whole ploy, she plots a revenge against them. The rest of the story follows Tanya in her revenge and whether she finds success in her plan. This book ends with a cliffhanger mode. The rest of the story will be in next trilogy set of the book.Language is simple crisp and lucid and has the ability to bring live the events narrated in the book. The characters are well developed and one can easily relate to their actions, reactions, mental agony, outbursts, etc. The only character that left me a bit confused was that of Tanya. The best part is that even the supporting characters are well- developed and merge smoothly into the story. You can easily relate to most of their actions, reactions and inner turmoil. However I would have loved to get to know what happen after BANG. BANG. who had shoot for that i have to wait for next book. While the first half is erotic thriller with cyber crime, the second half which is revenge.  Narration is done well. The author’s strongest point is plot with unique theme and warn the women of online world. One of the most important things that I noticed is how with few words, the author could not only just portrayed  the hazards of online world, the pain, joy and sorrows of the characters but she even manages to bring that out from the readers. Most victims of these crimes were teenage girls and women. There was a nefarious attempt to trap young girls to indulge in wrongdoing. The increase in number of mobile phones had also led to more number of cyber crimes. Crimes were also reported by misusing social networking websites on the internet. The writer’s words has the capacity to hold the reader till the last page. The book has been written well in accordance to real-life examples with realistic point of view. This is the debut novel of author but we don’t seriously feel as if we are reading a book written by a debut author. Overall a fantastic fantasy packed with action and tinged with suspicion and suspense. I personally would like recommend this book to every women out there and to all the book worms it’s a must read.Overall Ratings 4/5 StarsAbout the AuthorTaanya Sarma is an author, poet and an entrepreneur. An ambivert true to form, the depth and duality of Taanya’s personality are evident throughout her writing. The genesis of The Wildcat trilogy stems from her desire to warn naive young women about the pitfalls of the online dating world.Taanya’s goal is to see her series of novels published and available in multiple languages as far reaching as countries like India, China, UK, NZ, SA, Australia – and, of course, in her home country the United States. When she’s not writing, Taanya is most likely thinking about writing – or spending time with her adopted dog, playing the guitar and piano, sketching, biking, snorkeling or participating in some extreme sports like parasailing, skydiving, or bungee jumping. For a more in-depth look into the life and creative mind of Taanya Sarma, follow her at @taanya.sarma or check out her website at http://www.taanyasarma.com

Childhood-The best part of our lives
 Ayush Mathur
 28 June 2018

Everyone in this world was once a child and had gone through the phrase of Childhood. It's been that part of life where everyday was memorable, unforgettable, innocent and the best days of life. After growing up we realised that childhood days were the best days of our life, that's why everyone wants to go back to their childhood days. They were the days when there were no worries, no tremendous work load, no thinking about what others might think. Free from all these extra added problems in life. It seems to almost everyone that life was easier then, we don't have have stress, we live a peaceful life in which we were taken care by our parents and our elders. We don't think about our futures, we don't have the fear of getting judged by other people, we make friends from our heart without judging anyone's family background. Childhood is fresh Life and non corrupted. Those were the days with innocent attitude, we used to run play and enjoy every moment of our life.We used to forget the fights in few hours, no sorrows only happines. The only tension we had at that time was of homework nothing else. Relatives used to gift us, we learnt to be brave, stronge, we had our own world with no responsiblities at all. On the same time were very active and weren't obsessed with mobile/laptop.No job,No Money, no tension, free food, free hugs n kisses, bedtime stories. Eat,play,sleep......and then repeat we don't do care about anything else. You do not care how you look, what people think about you. You can play in mud without caring about your clothes, you can cry loudly anytime anywhere. We dont have any responsibilities and, the amount of care and affection towards us is so high and the major thing is that we are not blinded by money which is mere entity that cause the differences in the society. We're taken care by our parents, and elders, we're dependent on them we don't have to care for ourselves. Our hearts we're pure, unadulterated and simple. We're completely unawared from the materialistic world that was existing outside the walls. We have tensions in that period of our lives as well but they're just about studies Tensions of not finding my classwork copy just before the day of the weekly test, Tension of holidays ending and the holiday homeworks still pending. We love to get surrounded by our family, we feel secured, happy and love to get their attention. Childhood is the best part of our lives.

"If I think back, I get depressed, if I think ahead I get afraid."-----------------------------------------------------------------------What I am writing I don't know but have some strong feeling for writing so I let my hand write.....I think I should write about some terms in life which are compelling...1. Affection Basically, we will get it from our family like grand parent's affection, cousin's affection, parent's etc . sometimes people show some fake affection and we believe them too much when they kick then we get our own station. That's why making a limited distance from everyone otherwise you will be in pain.2.Kindness 10% people of this world who believe in this hearty. Otherwise, everybody engaged in selfishness. There is no need to tell how to kind because It happens frequently.3. TrustThe most important thing in life is to believe someone unconditionally.Always think twice before trusting anyone. Now a day it's petrific to trust . so always take right decision because sometimes we get knowledge after an excruciation situation.4.LoveIt's really an amazing term of life. It's a blessing from our supreme God. Everyone gets it at least once in their life but the actual thing is to detect your feelings towards it, as per ur feelings u should accept it otherwise reject it politely. But it's true -everyone gets this chance at least once. Now a day it's very cheap, if u have Money along with Beauty then u will get easily so choose ur #betterhalf perfectly because it's your life and you are going to spend everything on it what u have, that may be relations, money, time, heart, etc...Love the man/girl who loves u don't go after any fairytale/Prince charming of your dream. 😀5. HateIt's my favorite term but now a day, I am concentrating on changing it. Don't hate anyone for their behavior, because as per our situation we behave. so keep patience, give time to realize. Nothing is impossible in this world if u have a strong feeling to change.6. RespectGive respect to everyone who belongs to u even if child also. Give it to your heart, don't try to show off your fake respect if u don't have. If u disappoint anyone they don't feel shame to say sorry because sometimes this little word "Sorry " more powerful than our mistakes.7. Forgiveness Always try to forgive and thankful to everyone for whom u get sorrowful condition because then only u can learn to manage more things by yourself.8. Promises Don't do any kind of promise that feels bad each and every time. Promise only that things which you can do by putting your all efforts. Which can only give real happiness!9. ThinkingDon't think negative aspect of anything in starting, think like positive then u can see the beauty of life. Don't think anyone bad because sometimes our situation and our surrounding make us bad. So try to understand everything and do as per ur condition. So many people thinking like this -"As a girl/boy he/she should not do this thing or that thing, What others think about me if I do this and all, etc etc ." Don't think like this, think like an open-minded.One more thing how can I forget ! 😁 that is the best medicine for everything. i. e Smile10.Smile 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀A smile doesn't mean to show ur teeth always. 😂Use it to change the world don't let the world change it. If anyone scolds and scares u then just do one thing, listen what he/she saying then Smile a bit then u feel everything is ok & then other people change their behavior. (It proved, I already tried it so many times basically I use it for my parents.  😀)( my purpose of sharing is to rectify myself and trying to spread a nice day for everyone.)

Sometimes things don't go the way we want them to. Sometimes we feel disaster with challenges and difficulties of life. In reality, all of our problems arise from our own mind & from our own work. At that time we did not get the actual reason, but if we take the time to investigate deeply we will discover this truth for ourselves. We are responsible for what happens with us. So learn to forgive & forget. Don't think about yourself only, at the time you started thinking about yourself, then keep in your mind that you are entering into the depression. To irradiate those things -just do your job properly and don't lose in your worries. Take a look at your surrounding then you can understand your problems are nothing. There are lots of people who have more problems than you. Don't think all problem solution is money only. Sometimes your encouraging words and caring nature can be helpful more than money.Everything of Fairyland is lovely because it's according to our imagination but the real fact is it's only like a dream. The real world is different so believe in reality, not in fairyland. Walking on the road alone you can see the life of people. A question coming in my mind, why people have a different kind of lifestyles, why don't they have the same lifestyle? Someone going in shopping and spending as much as he/she can still he/she wants more but there is another one begging on the road for collecting single coins. Someone having a proper house but he wants more house for increasing his property but there is another one who doesn't have anything to save his head. Someone having lots of time to waste but there is another one who doesn't have time to do kinds of stuff, etc. If I go for writing those differences then it will not end.Satisfaction is necessary which comes through our work only. Dissatisfactory work always forces you to think.Remember those old days, when we all are in a childhood stage, how you make yourself satisfy in little things. How you jump in puddles and make yourself happy. How we use a single rupee coin for buying chocolate and when we started eating that we lost in melting that in our mouth and simultaneously we tried to feel the flavor of that chocolate. At that time we make ourselves satisfied so why not now! This is also same life with different taste, it depends upon us to taste in which way we want them to taste. It's the human tendency, we have enough kinds of stuff but our expectation is the main cause of our sadness. It depends upon us how to respond to our life in difficulties. When we can respond to life's difficulties with a positive and peaceful mind, they suddenly seem to melt away into nothing right before our eyes. If we think what is happening, this is only right then we don't see any difficulties, all problem will be like a happiness. Don't forget we can learn from the experiences so allow all problems in a positive manner.Try to do things or give your hands, only to needy people, because this world is full of fake people. Don't hate them because it's not their fault it's only their blindness and environment effect. If possible then handle them & try to be a brightness in their life and show the proper path otherwise leave them as they are. They will understand from their experience.I am always thinking why it is so hard to maintain a continuous happy and peaceful mind if we have all potential for peace and happiness within us? Now I get the answer that is because we habitually surrender to negative thoughts that consume our mind and destroy our inner peace. We only have the capacity to change it, if we adopt a negative state of mind in a positive way then we find the solution easily. At the last but not the least "happiness and Sadness only exist within the mind, so their origins cannot be found outside the mind. In order to really achieve permanent happiness and freedom from all suffering, we must first achieve a thorough understanding of the mind".

Historic Day 2 of Poetry world cup award ceremony 2018

The day 2 of the Poetry world cup award ceremony again started with a bang where few local singer performed solo rock performances and the foreign poets were again asked to join in Prayers, song and lyrics happening around as all had been fresh and had just finished breakfast before joining such a ceremony. However it was a much highly expected official day and hence the people who were administrating had been busy more often than not and had been working entirely to focus on the award distribution that would take place in the 2nd session of the day. It also meant that in 1st session there would be more activity around, But before all that process to follow, the Higher official delegates and administrators of Romania and Bulgaria were witnessed on stage speaking to all writers and they talked about peace and harmony amongst all the hearts which was great in all respects.Once that process had been done, it was now time for some activities by those who had been invited for receiving the award and it was great advantage for all of us as we were asked by the officials to join together in alphabetical order on the stage and get together for a common photo session first and then have some literary presentation for the crowd gathered so we were asked to entertain them with our presence noticed. What this literary presentation meant was that the authors/poets had to recite one of the poems they had submitted for the poetry championship and they were asked to sing it rather than only read it which was going to be more interesting and it was great environment starting to build as the poets gathered,, climbed the another dace one by one and recited their poems. It was not only making a great atmosphere of peace and harmony but was also responded by huge cheer and applauses with coffee and chocolates being served around that was unique way to start and get things on way. However when the announcer called my name, I got bit surprised as I was expecting person sitting on my front row to go  so the way I glimpsed back made other surprised as well and As I wanted there was some laughter which I have always liked to associate myself to make people laugh no matter whatever serious the mood to be. However I was ready and I went on with my poem instructing the Keyboard player what music I wanted and rhymed it on stage with good response and huge cheer. Not only I was getting happy to witness what was happening around, But I was feeling like I belonged to this place which was great and hence once I stepped back and was guided back to my place by some of my poet friends I was asked to join in Chocolate chips which I accepted happily. Hence the 1st official task for the foreign poets went well and I cheered in the speeches made by delegates before and at the end of function and at it's end after 2 hour show down It was called lunch so I went back to cafeteria in great spirits around. Although as the afternoon was progressing and the lunch had ended, the groups have started to chat and they all showed appreciations to the authorities who had taken charge to perform such a huge award ceremony and It was great fun to listen things all around. Once we went back to the auditorium on the ground floor next to the Momentum sphere building it was irry and peaceful once again with hardly voices going across and they were gurgling loud. Everyone sitting as poet had started to consider  his or her position as the time had passed very quick and since then they all had been expecting to get some sort of award as it was all happening here so not taking much time the proceeding  were announced by the Compare and we seated in lines and alphabetical order and applauded the delegates who again started the formal task by explaining what these awards matter to each and every poet so it was becoming such an environment now which nobody can wish to miss for ever. Before  the award receiving ceremony could be started, A brief short film was produced by the organisers which was based on 'World order and it's current stage' with globalisation coming to the fourfront and recognising it's proceeding. IN the starting and final scene of the film, Few words were exchanged by the experts of photography and cinema as they explained why those scenes were there and once that had been done they started to chant about the Award ceremony to proceed that was what for which we all had gathered and it was going to be a cracker. Finally the moment was coming closer and the Announcer on the mike was asking we the poets to be ready according to the category to be in line and make sure that things become with formal process and right decision making. To give the Awards, the highest dignitaries of the Balcan countries have been gathered together and hence there were categories like 'Naturalist poet', 'Humour', 'Dystopia', 'Non Fiction', 'Rising Poet', 'Impressed in Early age', 'Revolutionary', 'Balcanist', 'Secularist', 'Globalised' and so many other. In total around 23 poets were going to receive the awards and it would happen on basis of the category whereby I was going to be awarded 'Gustav Icalnou medal' which is named after the famous Romanian poet Icalnu who rose in middle age and hence this poetry award is awarded for 'Rising poet' across the globe which was not far from me now and I was getting more nervous an was asking for chilled milk again which was provided and I am thankful to the authorities for managing me around. Although Once the process started all the chill and raspness has gone from all the poets who were going to receive the awards and it was happening very fast and in rapid succession as the poet or poetess who was getting award on basis of the category would go on stage, would shake hand with the delegates, and would speak few word of his or her choice, an then lifting the bag with Award and prize money would come back to his or her seat. On the basis of the category when my name was called a huge roar erupted across all the stages and in the building and it was really pleasing to listen out as I was welcomed on dace and I shook hands with the Romanian dignitaries who presented me the bag with award and prize money and hence My  dream seems to be coming true and coming so close. I stood in front and lifted the mike to speak to the crowd that gurgled, and for a minute I let them celebrate and  shout, and then talked with them about why we poets need to continue to hold the thread of 'social bonding' and why it is most essential for all of writing community. Once the noise had silence a bit, they started to listen me closer and as I spoke further it became quiet as they gave their attention and listened to my words where I mentioned the role of writers, The power of digital sphere, the collective attempt, and competitions like World Poetry championship and ultimately why this passion should be with all of us. They clapped at the end, I turned to have a photograph with the officials and one of their juniors assisted me back with my goodies from the stage and I again ordered Chilled milk to have that calmness. Hence after that, remaining poets did the same, came to stage and enjoyed as I did and once the award distribution was over the delegates announced the final release of the Official pamplate notifying the success of award event which was phenomenal.  We all again went back to cafeteria to have a short supper, I shook hands with all winners and group photo clicks with them, enjoyed the Vegetarian deserts and in the early dusk the pleasant wind felt great to me as I walked and along side walked few Indians who I have met in my visit here. They congratulated with great spirits so with them I went back to my hotel after the final proceedings had been accomplished and one more memorable moment has been added to my life's chapter...

Artma Ventures: The World of Digital Art

StoryMirror interviewed Mr. Venkatesh from Artma Ventures and here is what he had to say about his venture:Q. Tell us about you and your background.I come from a tiny town in West Bengal called Kharagpur. Mine is a typical working middle-class family. I was good at Math and the obvious career choice for me was Engineer or so I thought. I worked for 3 years in a chemical company as an electrical engineer and absolutely detested it. In order to change fields, I chose MBA as an option. I went to IIM Kozhikode to study Marketing and Strategy which, I feel, have been 2 of the most enriching years of my life. Q. What is your greatest passion?I have always been passionate about creating things. If I have spare time, I’m either creating some form of art or learning a new technique to better my craft. It is fascinating to me that one can conjure up things and put them out in the world for others to enjoy, critique and ponder over. I’ve tried a lot of things from clay animation to video editing. My first love, however, is painting. I trained under Rabindra Bharathi University in West Bengal for almost a decade in fine arts. I have always dreamt of being an artist and that dream is slowly becoming a reality. I wish to bring smiles and happiness to people through my work and knowing that someone appreciates my work so much that they want to make it part of their life is a kind of fulfillment that I don’t get from anything else. I will continue to create and, in the process, try to bring joy to people around me. I have big plans but let’s keep it for some other time , for now, I just want to paint. Q. We understand you do digital art. How and why did you start painting digitally? Is it easier compared to drawing on the physical medium? In 2010 while I was pursuing engineering, I accidentally discovered the world of digital art. Sitting in my hostel dorm I watched countless videos on Youtube and was awestruck at the kind of work artists across the world were producing in the digital art space. I started drawing with a mouse which, of course, is ridiculously difficult and then researched to find the right tools. Being a college student, I couldn’t afford the equipment back then. A few months later I attended a cultural college fest and as expected there were painting competitions. I won three of them and knew exactly what to do with the cash prize that I earned. I got my first pen tablet immediately after and it is one of the best investments that I’ve made in my life. I used to paint quite often while I was in engineering and for a few months after that. Post that there was never enough time, I tried to keep up but with a regular job, it was hard to maintain consistency. So, I took the plunge and I must say I’m absolutely loving the process. Many people have a notion that digital art is a scam and that it is not as credible as painting on canvas. I have immense respect for anyone who works with the traditional medium as I started my training with that. While the fundamentals of art remain the same, the approach to mastering both is vastly different. In fact, the digital medium provides one a myriad of options and the freedom to experiment. The “undo” option is undoubtedly a lifesaver. However, that should not take away the effort that one puts into perfecting a piece. After all, everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes. Also, if it was that easy everyone would be doing it. I feel art is so much more than just replicating an image. It is about pulling the observer into the piece and moving them with the composition. Through their work, it is about showing the world what the artists themselves see. Q. How do you see this space evolving in the future? There is still very little awareness of the digital painting field in India. It is common for me to encounter questions like, “Do you use an app to convert the images?” People fail to realize that it is painting where each stroke is made in hand. However, it is changing and with the increasing reach of marketing media such as Youtube, it is easier for creators to showcase their process and create awareness about the field. New business models are evolving with the increasing adoption of digital media. I personally feel we are living in the most exciting time for content creators to make something of their creative capabilities. Digital art fits into a large range of fields from animation, merchandising, comic industry, movies, games, graphic design and the list goes on. The sky is the limit for someone who wants to pursue a career in digital art.Q. Could you tell us a little bit about the services that you offer? What is the process like?Sure. We make stylised digital portraits. It starts with selecting the right image for the artwork. We ask our patrons to share as many images as they can of the people they wish to capture in a painting. Once the image is finalised we ask them what their expectations are. The discussion could range from the color palette, the overall tone, the elements that they want to add to the piece. We try to make the paintings personal and have some meaning to the people they showcase. For instance, if it’s a baby’s painting and the baby loves dogs, we include them in the composition. If a couple loves to travel to beaches or has a favorite memory of a place, then we bring that out in the painting. This way the painting becomes far more than just a replica of the image and ends up being much larger than life.Actually, we are running a giveaway on our handle at the moment and it would be great if your users can participate in it. We are giving away one free portrait to the winner of the contest. I will share the link with you.https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo81JjQHXYz/ Q. What is your life's philosophy?“One must choose the problems that they want to solve”. Life at the end of the day is about solving problems from the time we wake up to go to bed. Even the job that one takes is solving the problem of earning a livelihood, living a luxurious life or creating a name for themselves. What if one enjoys solving a certain kind of problem, life then becomes a fun and happy ride. I’ve only come to terms with this in the past few months and that has been an eye-opener. For me, it is simply to keep getting better at creating content that touches people’s lives. Everything I do now revolve around that!Q. If you could give a message to all the 20-year olds of the world, what would it be?There is a very famous quote by Alan Watts, “What would you do if money were no object?” If I could go back to when I was 20 I would tell myself to just focus on my craft. To enjoy the ride while getting better at it every single day. I have spent years doing things which I didn’t love doing and I get petrified at the thought of wasting away another 30 or so years doing the same. To the 20-year-olds, I would just say do what makes you happy as cliché as it may sound. Find your calling and go after it. You will be fine. Please join Artma Ventures on their journey. BANKING PRODUCT NEED INNOVATION FOR FINANCIAL INCLUSION
 Aniket Kirtiwar
 24 October 2018

BANKING PRODUCT NEED INNOVATION FOR FINANCIAL INCLUSION In new banking era innovative products and services are essential to provide our customers, generally in indian 80%market is based on rural population.rural market is vargin market for big market player, in rural  market peoples little amount save and there  need of lending money also small, they need services in affordable cost, so there is very much chances to provide good innovative services to them, in beginning of my career I visited to Krushna Bhima Local area bank in Manvi, Richur Dist. Karnataka that time I very surprise to see "Bank on wheel" concept, in that one small bank branch is setup in one big van, one clerk cum Cashier and officer provides services to rural population by giving them door step services, this mobile banks time fixed to reach every village, and when it reach to village, villagers will enjoy banking services by open a account, FD, RD etc, they could not need to visit bank branch by wasting there time and money. In early stage they depends upon Money Lender, Gold Smith and Merchant in heavy interest rates.such kind of ideas provide good services to financially excluded people who live in remote areas. In 2004 RBI appointed Khan committee for Fins this committee suggest two model, one is BC and second is BF.Businesses correspondence model is  section 25 not for profit company who provide banking services to financially excluded people in behalf of bank through their outlets. Now a day any registered organisation do this. Second  is Business Facilitator model were individual like retired, ex service man, post master etc provide services to those people. Now a days  many NGOs,NBFC, MFIs are working for same purpose but there goal is different they making more and more Gain from Financial inclusion, it reflects to loan dumping, actual purpose was not correct, Not analysis actual condition of borrowers. So in future  that makes big disaster for Financial industry. If there is any chances to change in borrowing rate, good apprisal it help to overcome to our industry, political people also spoil our portfolio indicating those things. If we remember 70% of  crises in past due to bad practices and mindset of making more profit by such Organisation. ---Aniket Kirtiwar

The value of Special Event Videography
 Leona Zoey
 1 November 2018

Despite the fact that we are now living in a digital age where more than two thirds of the adult population carry a smartphone, there is still great value to be had from hiring the professional services of an experienced videographer to film your special event, whether that be a corporate event or a notable family event that you want to capture for posterity. In this world of Instagram and throw-away snaps on our phones, hardly any of those taken are even looked at following an event, or even downloaded to print out!Within the visual industry, you will find some very talented and creative professionals that can turn photograph and films into a work of art. They plan out amazing ideas and execute them in a way that leads to delivering some spectacular work.Corporate event videographyUnless you have someone with these creative and clever capabilities present, your event will be just a moment in time that will be gone forever if you don't document it properly. Shooting professional footage of your corporate event can come in very handy. You can use the material to help tell a story or sell your company to prospective business partners and raise awareness of your brand. You can use your film footage to help captivate and entice a target audience that you want to attract to your company, whether that is to work with or sell to. If you are trying to raise money at the same time as running an event, then having a winning film of your event can help to boost ticket sales for the next event you plan to hold.Simply relying on using captured footage from staff smartphones to use for your marketing or to tell a story and document the event can end up looking bitty and unprofessional. What sort of image or first impression will you give to prospective business partners or customers if you don't approach running and documenting your events in a professional manner?Without quality film of your even, you cannot show how impressive or fun it was. You will be unable to show specific elements to potential sponsors, delegates and speakers.Important family eventsJust like in the corporate world, you cannot rely on gathering any useful or quality film footage from your friends and relatives that take snaps and videos of your family event using their smartphones.Whether it is a milestone wedding anniversary, a baby Christening or naming ceremony, engagement party or a celebration for a significant birthday, if you want to keep some treasured memories alive for years to come, hiring a professional videographer is the way to do it properly.Remember that just because everyone owns a smartphone these days, doesn't mean that everyone has suddenly become an expert videographer overnight! Just because your mum can bake a fantastic fruit cake doesn't mean that she could cater a whole wedding with 250 sit-down guests! The old saying of 'horses for courses' really still applies with videography as well as other skilled creative services. Book a professional if you want to benefit from good results. To know more visit our website.

Small and Mid-Sized Businesses can Benefit from EHS Software
 Leona Zoey
 1 November 2018

There are hundreds ofthousands of small and medium sized businesses operating across the country today. Each business, no matter how many employees they have, will have a long list of health and safety responsibilities to manage, and the list can grow in length as the business grows and expands over the years. What a lot of businesses fail to recognise is that what Health & Safety system worked for them in the very early days of their company may not be fit for purpose now, some years further down the line.Small and medium sized businesses currently employ around one third of the workforce, and that is a huge burden of responsibility to manage, especially when you have the safety of your staff at risk if you fail in your duties to keep them safe at work.Don't underestimate your H&S plans and policiesCompany owners need to make their occupational health and safety policies and procedures a high priority. Small and Mid-Sized Businesses can Benefit from EHS Software

However, this doesn't mean they need to simply set and forget their policies and never revisit or review them over the next few years. The average workplace can be an ever-evolving place that sees a steady turnover of staff and new practices adopted as technology, machinery and equipment moves on. Freelancing, the supermom’s Infinity Gauntlet against maternity discrimination

If you’re an expecting mother in the United Kingdom, you’re probably one of the 54,000 women who lose their livelihood every year, due to maternity discrimination. This bigotry exists but is largely unheard of. Women avoid straining themselves during pregnancy to file a case against their unfair employers. Moreover, the court only gives three months for moms-to-be to report a claim.A research done by Great Britain’s national equality body, The Equality and Human Rights Commission, has brought forward these staggering facts. In a survey of 3,200 women, almost 350 women reported unfair dismissal, roughly equating to 11% of the women. The women were treated poorly, with occasional obviation of their roles. The unwarranted prejudice is taken calmly as the protest can affect the career path of these wronged women heavily. Most of the moms-to-be resign quietly without kicking up a controversy. Fortunately, with a finger-snap, these mothers can turn around their dire situation with freelancing.Freelancing is perfect for new moms who have to take care of themselves and their babies. Over 287,000 mothers are working as freelancers, making up 15% of the total 1,900,000 freelancers. They enjoy high pay and are far from a stressful environment that might trigger post-natal depression. The flexible work hours let them attend to their children while keeping an eye out for official tasks.Indian lead database company, Connecting All India, highlights stay-at-home mothers as primary lead providers. In fact, they work dynamically and better than other freelancers as the children mentally charge them up. These self-employed mothers are able to spend more time with their young ones, keeping them mentally and physically fit. Freelancing moms are free from contracts. They can slip into a comfortable gown, soft slippers, and then start working on their computer system with a stable internet connection. Freelance writing happens to be the most common tasks they undertake, followed by lead generation. Other freelance work they can take includes website design, web development, teaching, graphics illustration, social media marketing, photography, branding, email marketing, translator services, and more. The moms are able to redefine themselves as entrepreneurs and consultants, resulting in more outreach along with better professional opportunities. Homemaker freelancing moms have contributed as much as £7 billion to the UK’s economy. As the freelancing culture is catching up with the Islands, this number is set to increase rapidly. Freelancing women are nothing short of ‘supermoms’, as they juggle their job, their family, and their mental/physical health without complaining.

Importance of doing a Job

Why it's important to be an employee or doing any kind of job? You might get a simpler answer yet its wrong. The main purpose of doing job is not earning money and providing security to family, its about cooperation and fulfill needs of other human beings.Thousands of years before this idea was implemented that everyone has to work because without it humankind won't exist.People made different groups that time based on their particular skills, some of them became potters, carpenters, barbers, hunters and many more.According to basic needs jobs were segregated and the purpose is still the same ,but we don't see that way. Nowadays Money is the most important thing than anything. But what if everyone in this world becomes Rich suddenly and decide not to do any work, will this world exist? It wont.So if you are lazy then be sure you are a threat to existence, not only yours but others. From this perspective every job should be valued and be respectful for their contributions. We made a system where we judge people according to their earnings and the complexity of their jobs But money is nothing but a medium,we need to think about how important their role is,fulfilling needs of our life. Some ultramodern people say things change with time and I am talking like an old man.But The purpose is never changed because we need to question the creation to find the true purpose of existence and if you find it ,it will always be same even after thousand years more. its unaffected by the ravages of time .Things just change their presentation through time and we make new definitions on basis of their effects instead of their cause.which is very untrue.I believe We don't need any great idea from a great thinker to change the world,we just need to see from different angles, gradually small small changes will start ripples of improvements accros the society and will make bigger revolution later like the butterfly effect. We need to be thankfull and show gratitude in everything we do and need efforts from everyone to make better world, but very unfortunately this is impossible to happen.

On Parenting

On ParentingIn India most of the people leaves their baby home alone so they can earn money to make assure their children's future by providing them material security ,this makes them feel the most successful parents .But this concept is 80% wrong, because it makes them overprotective in every way,and they very like to coddle up their children that ruin their mental freedom .Every parents wants their child in their image, this is natural but what they want is to see their children like a baby with tottering legs even he is 30 years old or married. If they can never give freedom even in their mind, then how a child can taste freedom in reality.Every child is born with their natural instinct,if their qualities are not nurtured well ,situation could be catastrophic. So every parent should allow their individualities to grow freely ,they need to accept whoever he or she is going to become. But to make them steady and wise they need to build some moral codes, some rules which helps them to be very straight and strong in mind.Time can change everything,it effects everything but it can't change someone's psych if those moral pillers are strong enough. The most common reason which ruins a child is a bad marriage.Teenage people wrongly caught up in spell called Love without knowing what it is.then they desperately wants to be a father or mother.which is completely wrong decision.when the spell is Broken they start doing compromise with their life but That child here becomes a victim of their situation,my question to them if you are so unwise about love and and future you hold then why you waste another life?.When a child grows up their physical dependencies turns into emotional dependencies. At the time when it wants to be free in its thoughts and emotions they find unhappiness in their family that made them caged in theirselves.because it can't share what it has inside and slowly die in silence,or goes into wrong hands.A child is very similar to an old person.both physically and mentally they are very vulnerable.they require special care in both aspect.but a child is more sensitive cause he is going to be a man one day.So your upbringing would decide what kind of person you want to make.Every parents should study their children's behaviors, the way they react to certain situations. Some time you need to create situation to study the way your child thinks because every child is born with different instinct so their actions might differ.Every minor response from them is important who knows which might reveal their biggest strength.A parent can only be best friend if they try a little bit to modernize their thoughts to cope up with their child. So they can understand whatever happens he or she will take care of me.but in 99% of cases they failed cope up with their new perceptions because they belong to a different time.Another thing is every parent should spend at least three hours a week to teach them about life.telling them some stories about positivity, and being strong in morality.something which they can apply in their life.you can say that we pay school for education , but they can't teach your child like you can.learning is not only about academic excellence but having true perceptions about life. Most of parents don't have time for this, but it's an important lesson which any parent needs to start from the age of 4,they may not remember the whole story but that lesson will always be in their subconscious mind.Which effects the way they are going to think and see things in their vision.Their are other Environmental factors which effects in certain ways but Home is the first school and parents are first teachers.

The Joy of Writing

The Joy of WritingWriting has always been a noble profession, for writing it brings fame, money, respect, popularity and power ,everything they want but only a true writer knows what is the meaning of writing, the actual joy of writing. Writing is an adventure of life where we drive here and there in our thoughtful realistic imagination.we make our own rules ,we become free like birds, where we make friends, make love.its a free life with ultimate freedom to write our own fate as we wish with bare fingers,to show the exact reality of this world behind false promises.its those painting of letters on blank white pages where we paint their laughter, tears, weariness, some blushing pink cheeks.where we creat our charecters through our visions, where there is no limit of unreal fantasies, where we share all untold secrets of life, truth of life,in a faith of our own truth, philosophy of life, the way we see the world.writing is the quickest way to share our thoughts, ideas, which inspires enough young minds, those piles must be hard to build future on it.For me It makes me just happy,Sometime writing gives our mind ease when we feel desolete like a lone plant in a desert and turn our silence to a Beautiful journey,it's the only way to connect with nature or this real world as we a good writer needs to feel every minute, everything he sees, every single tune he listen, every change in weather he feels, every scents and odours he smells, instead of some people blame us calling Escapist but we want to feel the world exactly how it should be,how God created it ,we never adapt any false doctrine of society, which differs from time to time. This could be a Fiction but i feel it more real than the real world itself. But the sole purpose of writing is not only living in a dreamlike state with unlimited joy rather its best use is in rectifying our minds, society by forcing us to see what's wrong with us.

DHARM KI STHAPNA

Respected Sirs,SUBJECT :- Cleaning of Society by Confession and Forgiving, Opportunity of Self Punishment or PRAYSCHIT, ReformationDHARM KI STHAPNA, is the hour of need. We are in minus, having numerous problems. How much minus? Unascertainable, endless ? Where to start to overcome these problems, no definite way is visible ? One major problem is of dishonesty. I hereby take liberty to suggest a way to overcome this problem. We may try to build a platform. We may restart our civilization. First, we declare ourselves to be on Zero. At different times, Government had launched Voluntary Disclosure of Income and Wealth Schemes (called VDS, VDIS, VIDS, Amnesty, etc.), first in 1951, second & third in 1965, fourth in 1975 and fifth in 1997. The broad objectives of all the VDSs were to unearth the undisclosed income & wealth, provide opportunity to the past evaders of tax to adopt the path of rectitude & civic responsibility, to mobilize resources and to channelise funds into priority sectors of the economy. Though the financial outcome of the VDSs of 1975 & 1997 might had been good, but, from the present scenario, you can very well visualize that, apart from collection of some earthed money (that too, of individuals own choice), none of the other objectives (in particular, returning to the path of rectitude & civic responsibility) were / have been achieved. Please introduce some more schemes. Scheme – I This time, scheme should be, not to only disclose the undisclosed income & wealth, but, a scheme of confession / declaration of every dishonesty / financial sin, including disclosure of all bad / black money / assets and surrender thereof. Percentage of surrender be fixed. Government will have to assign / designate this work to some department/s, which shall work as fast track courts in every district or even in rural areas, by taking cognizance of confession / declaration, by taking possession of surrendered money / assets, thereby implying compounding of offences, and forgiving / acquitting the declarant. However, such designated courts may have the power not to acquit such declarants, whose cases are linked with our Country’s security and integrity. This scheme be the last opportunity to us to return to the path of rectitude and civic responsibility. From the date of announcement of the scheme, dishonesty be put to strict vigil and immediate & deterrent punishment, which be continued for ever. After the closure of scheme, the non-declarants of bad / black money be searched, that money / assets be seized / disgorged and they be put for time bound trial before the fast track courts. Besides the black money in our Country, it has been reported (as read in newspapers) that the black money of over Rs.25 (some say Rs.70) Lakhs Crores of our Country was stashed in Swiss banks. This staggering amount of black money is a big hole in the national exchequer and the same can be diverted to the Country’s growth. Amazingly, each of 6 Lakhs villages in our Country would get a share of Rs.4 to Rs.10 Crores if the full amount of black money is retrieved, only from Swiss banks. Now is the time for Government to regain the black money, for which, aforesaid proposed scheme may be first used. Scheme – II In criminal cases, guilt may be divided in 5 categories e.g. negligible guilt, minor guilt, middle class guilt, major guilt and very major guilt. Cases may be discontinued / acquitted in the event of negligible guilt. Offences of minor and / or middle class guilt may be decided by consent orders by payments of expenses / costs & monetary penalties to the courts and damages / compensation to the complainants, by the accuseds. Cases of major guilt and very major guilt be decided in a maximum period of 02 years (one year at Lower Court, six months at High Court and six months at Supreme Court). Scheme – III All the civil disputes be first referred to system of jury / arbitration, where jury members / arbitrators, in each dispute, should first work towards an amicable settlement / conciliation and if the parties do not settle amicably, jury members / arbitrators will pronounce Order / Arbitration Award. Thereafter, there may be time bound court proceedings of maximum one year, upto the level of Supreme Court. This had been provided in CPC Amendment Bill of year 2000, which, probably, was put in THANDA BASTA / scrapped. Decree and Execution be clubbed. All, at least by heart, will welcome, these schemes, because they will have the opportunity for GANGA SANAN. Over 3 Crores cases are pending in courts across our Country. Clearing the backlog of cases is one of the biggest challenges. These schemes will substantially reduce the number of cases and will ease the burden of judiciary and all concerned & investigating departments of Government. Only by honesty, all plans of Government will truly reach to goal, including vision of Rural India. When honesty will prevail, there will be action (KARM) and that action will be in right direction & spirit. Government should do it. Victory is where justice reigns. With regards, Sincerely yours

TRUE PICTURE OF MEDICAL PROFESSION

This is a very complex question. So a detailed answer.Corporate hospitals. There are few high flying doctors in India who are superstars like Amir, Shahrukh and Akshay, who earn loads of money, but majority of the doctors working in corporate hospitals are like the background dancers dancing along with the superstars doing ‘thatha thiyaa’ and earning a fixed salary usually between 75000 to 1.5 lakhs post tax.In some hospitals the income is shared in the department. The big Boss takes 60 to 80 percent, the next senior takes 20 to 40 percent and the remaining doctors have to be satisfied with the bread crumbs. But remember that the superstars or big boss would have worked their ass off for decades to reach that level.Sometimes the big doctors won't allow junior talent to enter the hospital or rise up because of fear of competition.Corporate hospitals are run by businessmen and MBAs. They are listed on the stock markets and are there to make money for their share holders. It is rare to see a CEO of a corporate hospital staying there for more than a couple of years as they are under constant pressure to generate profits.Just like engineering colleges are mushrooming there has been an increase in post graduate doctors passing out. This benefits corporate hospitals as they are able to get labour at cheaper price, instead of employing 1 surgeon for 3 lakhs they can employ 3 for 1 lakh, the supply is exceeding the demand. Majority of corporate hospitals in cities are saturated.Government hospitalCentral government pay scales for doctors are similar to what a class 1 officer or teacher in IIT or NIT will earn. You can be a top class neurosurgeon or a mediocre physician or a pharmacologist your salary will be same. No private practice is allowed. Usually doctors interested in academics and research take up these jobs.State government. Some allow private practice others don't. Salaries are low in states were private practise is allowed. In Tamilnadu an assistant surgeon is paid about Rs 40000 a month. If you have a busy private practice you would generally resign your state government job and focus on private practice.Trust hospitalsThese are charitable hospitals and the pay scales of doctors here are usually very less. Doctors work here because they love what they are doing, most leave after few years when the realities of life strikes them and they find it difficult to provide for their families.Private practiceThis is a different ball game. You can open a small one room clinic and see few patients a day and earn about 50000 Rs a month or you can have your own hospital with beds and provide employment to others. This needs lot of investment and is beyond the means of most doctors. The khandhani doctors or doctors whose previous generations have been doctors usually have a preset clinic or if your parents are already wealthy (usually business) then it is easy to setup a hospital. But the profit margins I guess would be in the order of 10 to 15 percent like any other business. Then there are the free lancers who work in multiple hospitals. Traveling lots of Km daily from morning to late night in the heavy traffic to see patients and earn money. I doubt it if they have a life. I don't know how much they earn.To sum it up. My assessment is that the doctors earn the followingUp to age of 23: pocket money from parentsInternship: Rs 3500 to 20000 pm (depends on where you do your internship)25- early 30s: Rs 15000-80000 pm (depends on where you do your PG). Does not include tuition fees which even in government hospitals can go up to Rs 3-5 lakhs a year.1-3 years of unemployment in between preparing for PG seat. You are dependent on your parents or spouse for money.35 and above: Rs 75000 to 2 lakhs pm, that is what most doctors earn post tax. Few earn about 3 to 5 lakhs or above but they are in the tail end of the standard curve. As you see that doctors start earning a decent salary only in their 30s, a good decade after other professionals. The brightest, smartest and most hardworking student in the class takes up medicine in India. The same person in an another profession would have earned much more for the time and effort he puts in Medical profession. When he/she sees his/her classmates who idolized him/her earn more than him/her and having a better standard of life it pricks him in the corner of the heart, he/she is human after all and not a saint.Don't look at the outliers who earn outrageously, they don't represent the life of an average doctor. Just like all lawyers are not Jethalmani, Sibal or Salve, all doctors are not crorepatis.Remember as a doctor you are on call 24x7, there is no overtime pay, there is no risk allowance, there is no off for working on holidays. You don't get free food in the hospitals or sodexo coupons. Many times you can't afford the treatment you are giving to your patients. The corporate hospital you work in will not give you free treatment if you or your family members fall sick. You get only 2 weeks paid leave in a corporate hospitals and work week is from Monday to Saturday and not Friday.DON'T JOIN MEDICINE, IF YOU WANT TO EARN MONEY. There are easier and less stressful ways to do it. Doctors in India deserve to be paid better. Those who earn well, rarely get to enjoy the money they earn. It is usually the kids and spouse who benefit from what you earn. Most doctors have zero knowledge of finance, investment, stocks and mutual funds because they have no money for the first 10 to 15 years of life to invest. After that they use the money which comes to buy the necessary luxuries of life like car and house (on EMI) and then you feel it is too late to invest. My dear colleagues please correct me if my figures are wrong. I have never worked in a corporate hospital, I have based it on my interactions with friends working in corporate hospitals. To my non medical friends this post is not about corruption in medicine or the unethical practise being done by few doctors, that is a matter of discussion in a different answer. This post is about how a ethical, law abiding, tax paying doctor earns money.STILL I'M PROUD TO BE A DOCTOR AND CARDIOLOGIST 😊

Surrounding is a key factor in everyone. In my surrounding everywhere marriage is going on.When it comes to my marriage, I'm afraid of marriage and started thinking about lots of things.I'm very much clear about my choices and my family choices but still, I'm in dilemma to get marry andmake a new family.I did some research for that.I found some answers from my heart and some from observing my family & friends and some from media.I asked myself some questions so many times- what is marriage, what is good for me,love marriage or arrange marriage and how I know I got the right person, etc?Different people define it in different ways. Not even sociologists are able to agree on a single meaning.According to me, love is God gifted, it's doesn't matter you got love marriage or arrange marriage,in every marriage life love is essential. It does not matter, you love someonebefore or after marriage, the fact is how much you love him/her, how much you sharing and caring.Marriage and family are key structures in most societies.I am going to share some of the important things to make a healthy marriage  -1.TrustJohn Gottman, one of the nation's foremost  researchers of marriages and families, says that "trust is essential to healthy relationships and healthy communities."If you have strong trust then your relationship is healthy nothing will harm your relationship.2.TogethernessSometimes you do what you like, and other times you do...what the other person likes.Maybe people will understand this is a compromise but it's actually the color of love. You spend time together doing things you both enjoy.Whether that's hiking, food tasting,  watching movies or listening to any song, or even working together. If one spouse is passionate about writing and reading then the other person should make time to read and give some tips to improve.3.Time ApartSometimes, giving space for each other is necessary. It is a boring life to spend 24 / 7 together and can't have separate interests and hobbies.you both understand, and respect, that you need time apart doing what you want to do.4. Attentiveness for each otherEven if u get the best chance for going somewhere or your favorite movie ticket,if your partner is not feeling well or he/she has some important work to do thendon't force.understanding each other's situation is the best part of your relationship.5.SharingSharing small things also gives more pleasure. If your situation is bad, don't hide it,since they will be there to comfort you and help you figure out ways to move on from this bad situation.6. Change OvernightDon't expect each other to change overnight. If your spouse is fat or thin or any bad habits they have then that won't make you feel ashamed or even expect you to change overnight.Make them understand that change is a process, and I will support you along the way.7. Do FightsDo some productive fights with him/her.This means listening to each other, understanding and respecting each other's viewpoints, and finding common ground so that you can strengthen your marriage.8. Value and GoalsShare each other's values and goals.I think it would be boring if a couple had the exact interests or personalities.so respect each other's interest and personality.Don't expect the same personality as yours.Let your spouse know how much you are proud of him/her. Celebrate his/her smallachievements.9. Helping each otherHelp each other to become more successful and to maintain a productive work-life balance. I saw in my family, a spouse is also your biggest strength in helping you achieve your goals and will do whatever they can, to help you overcome obstacles blocking your path to success in work and life. And they're genuinely excited when you succeed.10.Laugh“Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand.” – Mark Twain.Make your marriage fun and happy. Tell some words which make your spouse cheer up.When life is stressful this the best way to cheer up.11. ListenListen to him/her rather talking more (vise versa).Your spouse needs the gift of your time and attention. When you listen generously, your spouse will feel secure in coming to you with their concerns, hopes, and fears.Once you’ve identified what your spouse is feeling—whether it’s anger, sadness, frustration, anxiety, or excitement—you can adjust your responses based on their emotional state. When our emotions go into a tailspin, it can be difficult to keep communication healthy. One way to build intimacy in your relationship is by sharing your thoughts and feelingswith each other and then responding to those disclosures in a way that makes you both feel good.12.Seek KnowledgeSeek knowledge from each other. You may don't have the same knowledge. The right person is someone who is interested in learning and growing intellectually by constantly seeking knowledge.13. Ask for helpNever hesitate to ask for help.Asking for help is not your weakness. When you ask your spouse for advice or help you're respecting and admitting the fact that they have more experience or skills in an area that you're not that familiar with.14.Financial goalsYou share the same financial goals.Even the greatest of relationship can end in a break up due to financial differences and concerns. You should both be on the same page when it comes to your financial goals, such as how much moneyyou need to live a happy and stress-free life and how you're going to save for retirement.Strong couples create and share budgets, as well as generate financial challenges for themselvesin order to put their finances in order.15.Physical AffectionThe ways in which we can express physical affection vary and more research is needed.Physical affection is related to lower blood pressure & releases feel-good hormones. One of the reasons why hugging, holding hands, and touching feel good to us is that these behaviors elevate our level of oxytocin, a hormone that reduces pain and causes a calming sensation. How important is physical intimacy in a relationship and what does it really mean? It’s an expression of love.Being physically intimate means more than simply heading to the bedroom with your spouse.Physical intimacy can range from eye-contact, holding hands, cuddling, and of course, sex.Physical intimacy involves a deep emotional connection.Having a deep connection to your spouse on this level helps build trust, boosts morale, and has many health benefits.

Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.My Education, in olden days completed up to basic 10th class in a Sultan Bazar Government High School, Hyderabad. Then Two-Year Pre-University Course from Badruka College of Commerce and Management at Hyderabad.  My Graduation in Commerce went in from Osmania University Affiliated College, Badruka College of Commerce & Management, Hyderabad.  I did Diploma in Business Management (DBM) course from a Private Institute. I also did Post Graduate  Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Private Institution.  I did Typewriting Higher Grade and Stenography Higher Grades from then combined Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, Hyderabad. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? My family heredity has Literature blood. By inspiring elders Literary works right from my childhood, I happened to inculcate the habit of literary writings. I have also worked hard to learn good English and Telugu  languages for this purpose, though my mother tongue is Telugu. My Blood has got some Literary Blood Cells Therefore, I am a little-bit fluent in my writings, as I on and off keep my brain thinking always. More so, I don't like to keep idle myself. If I don't write and work each day, I don't get sleep, and I become erratic without work. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? In the initial days, when I was writing literary type of work in especially in English, Readers used to comment about the mistakes. I used to refer to English Dictionary for better words. I used to correct myself with patience. I used to write better words in a bad sentence. I have developed the habit of writing English in Flowery Language, so that people/readers should read my literary work i.e., stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes, so on and so forth. Now  I have become a little bit perfect, as I think myself, and started writing so many things pertaining to literature work.  I am not getting any negative comments for my work. Only I used to get appreciation letters, good comments, and good encouragement and praising notes. I thought I would still contribute more to this World, where Top Level Literary Writers/Authors should Appreciate my works, and my ambition is to have my name in the World Famous Authors/Writers List, as a good Literary Writer, My Ambitions are more and I am working accordingly on daily basis. What is your view about the present day literary work? Present day Literary work is not that of a good Literature work, as evidenced by many Writers works. The standard of English writing is slightly just average. I have observed that my of the Technical and Management Graduates are unable to contribute to literary work, because they are all, to say many  on software line. I observed  that many of the software people never in the habit of writing  articles/stories/songs/literary works, etc. This generation is such.  Only old people used to write good English, as I knew and observed well in my life.  More so, people and writers who are interested to write good literary work, need to get trained from senior mentors and continuously make a habit of writing, as a regular feature in their life. Then only, at once point of time such Literary work could be well recognized. Lest, there are chances of Literary Work getting drowned, due to not having good Writers in the coming generations.  As one knew well, that "Old Water Go, New Water Come".Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Yes definitely. Digital and Social Media Tools/Devices play an important role to create more Writers and thereby more Readers emerge. Social Medial play an important role in shaping good Literary Writers.  Social Media gives good opportunity for Writers to present their Write-ups through few Blogs which facilitate Writers to present their Mind of Writing. Here, below I will give you a brief Article on Social Media:YOUNG AUDIENCE GRAB & CONQUER SOCIAL MEDIAEach minute, the technology is changing in rapid competitive market segment. Every business entrepreneur wants to have an edge over other competitors. Every businessman aspires for quick turn-over on their end products sales proceeds and wants to become a millionaire or a billionaire bypassing the Constitutional working systems, Acts, Rules, Regulations by violating norms & guidelines of the Ministry of Finance and  Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) and  Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)Evolving marketing & advertising strategies are a prerequisite and essential in these competitive days in reaching out to customers and for public acquaintance is one part, while giving quick ads in latest tools and websites like LinkedIn, Face Book, Twitter, Wi-Fi and Internet through which messages, communications, ads, gist or gigs or contents of any subject matter of one’s personal, business or marketing could reach global people in quickest time, that too at no cost. But, whereas, reaching global people through News Papers, TV channels, hoarders, sign boards, pamphlets or through any other old fashioned system of ads looks to be little bit costly, slow and may not reach all the global people/institutions/companies.  It has been constantly and incessantly observed that increasing use of social media in personal, business and marketing fields is seen on a higher side. There is no doubt in this. The younger audience use social media technologies too much that too on daily basis, without which, the day will not pass.INDIA, Land of Opportunities: The younger generation and audience, now-a-days look for quickest communication, quick Return on Investment (ROI) and money rotation to meet their business and personal ends. Moreover, global people view and use these latest technology tools in their daily life for publicity purposes. These are the present day TOOL TECHNOLOGY being used by billions of people all-over the world.YOUTH FOR NATIONAL INTEGRITYTODAY’S YOUTH – TOMORROW’S LEADERS:Today’s youth of the nation are all tech-savvy, broad-minded and rebellious with vast ideas, who could mobilize people of all religion, caste and creed as the youth of India play a crucial role in promoting communal harmony which will lead to socio-economic constitutional changes in maintaining peace in the country, as the youth are the future leaders of tomorrow. The youth’s education in engineering, medical, pharmacy, bio-technology, automobile engineering, R&D, management and in all fields of study, can mobilize people due to professional understanding in maintaining peace and communal harmony without interfering in issues like caste, creed, religion or ethnicity.Tech-savvy youth spreads the peace, love and communal harmony through social media tools like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp and blogs. Rapid changes took place through media postings then, after the conviction of culprits in December 2012 Delhi rape case issue. Nirbhaya Fund for survivors of gender violence started due to this case. So, the above tools play an important role in bringing about social harmony.Fine Arts play an important role in spreading the message of brotherhood and peace. Also, young authors, writers, poets and artists come together to enlighten people of India about the secularism in Indian Constitution. One can understand the culture at major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, that the youth cares for personal growth based on their talents rather than they do about caste or religion.Youth having good jobs by virtue of their talent, can bring changes on people around them to maintain peace and harmony in the society without any negative mind set on caste, creed or religion. The government has to work with the youth to bring about unity in diversity for the future of nation. Please tell us something about your literary work. : I am in the habit of writing a good number of stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes and other content material needed by various people/institutions for so many ways. There is no end to literary work.  The future of the World in Particular India, has got lot of Literary Writers and their work would definitely put India Map in the Top of the World in Literary Writings. It will happen in the coming generations.  Now, the world's good literary work is known as British Literature.  Indians have good knowledge in literary works. But, as Indians, we have learnt many of the Literature from British Literature. British Literature is a standard literature and its famous World Wide., as per my knowledge.Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?.My Literary work can go outdated. New Literary works by young blood and new generations would lead the good literature work. It is quite possible that in the next 5 years, the literary world in India, would compete with British Literary work. What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?Community of Poets should be there in each State, and in each Website, including in Social Media.  Each Story Websites in India should have one POETS BLOG, to inter-act with Poets in India especially, directly.  This will be a good proposal. Blogs should have, Poets for Stories, Poets for Song Lyrics, Poets for Writers, Poets for Article Writers etc., so on and so forth. What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? My message to aspiring Writers are that, Go on writing. put good proper words, get good meaning, get good flower language. To write good English or Telugu or for that matter in any language of proficiency they are.  Inculcate the habit of writing.  Present the sentences and language in a good way, so that  Readers should hail the writer. How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror?:  StoryMirror is a good platform for all Writers, beginners, children, youngsters, youth, elders and aged Writers. Story Mirror works as good Mediators to Writers and Readers through the august Story Mirror. and it encourages all Writers in their sphere of work in all fields, especially in literature work.Would you like to say something about StoryMirror? Story Mirror should have a tie-up, MoU, Agreement, Contract with Film Field and Literary Associations Worldwide, so that the best writings  should be recognized by various fields/associations.  This gives a good motivation and a good recognition to Writers on their Literary Work.  Story Mirror also to diversify in other languages including Telugu, so that Story Mirror can spread to World Telugu People, apart from others Language Speaking People. Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.I have done my schooling from Diamond Jubilee High School, Hyderabad. I completed my Intermediate from Sri Chaitanya Junior Kalasala and graduated from Chillies Balaji Institute of Technology. I am now working with Dell EMC, as a sales account manager. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write?  I was good at writing since school days. I had won many Essay writing competitions. But at that I didn't realize that it was not only a curriculum but a passion. After few years when Facebook was highly used, I started sharing my views and thoughts which were liked by people. With motivation from these likes, I started writing more and more. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? Time management is very difficult. But, passion for writing is something which drives me crazy. Making the content that will catch people's eyes is a challenging task. I always try different writing styles to make people get interest in reading what I write What is your view about the present day literary work? Present day literature has become a fashion.  Everyday content has to be something new, something sexy. It has to be something jazzy. A writer has to look at all the views that audience would take.  Sometimes,  a writer has to be very careful in terms of what they write on scenarios where they mention about religion, caste, sex, etc, as it could cause controversies. Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Yes, now a days you hardly find anything in papers.  Only few traditional people would like a hard copy. Everything is web based. It is easier to share the content and also get the reviews within short span. Please tell us something about your literary work. I usually write content from real time lessons that happens with me or with people around me. I share it so that others can learn from it. I wrote contents related to current happenings. I can ink anything, which defines the meaning of my name, pINKal. What was your first literary work and how was it published? I used to post on Facebook, so that's the first platform from where I had got multiple opportunities. How many ways literature can contribute to society in future?I guess it can contribute to a level that it can make world a better place. Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?I would love to see myself at a place where even though I don't get fame and money, but at least one person should come and tell me that you inspired me. What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?I guess we have many poets around the world, social media is the way to get along to work together. What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? Keep writing, it must just be a brick that you could start with, you will one day end up building a wall. How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror?  Initially when I started writing, I was criticized by lot of people around me. But, that's not what I cared for. I cared about how can I write more. May be people around me where not interested in reading. So, I was looking for a platform where I could find genuine readers. StoryMirror is that platform. Would you like to say something about StoryMirror? A good initiative, it's not a platform which just allows you to write and read, it inspires and motivates you at the same time. Online Dating In India Site Serves People GloballyAs time is running, more people become singles. Some are already singles, never ever has dated anyone some used to stay single, some are heart-broken. But no one likes to be alone and feel lonely, that's why the market of online dating is growing rapidly. As per the survey, there are millions of people who are singles so the dating websites started to serve people globally. That means you can connect with not only Indian people but also with all country people. So if you are interested in dating foreigners, just try out online dating site in India. Or else, there are international apps, you can try them out as well. Now you will say, why to go for the dating site & waste your money when you have social media sites which let you connect free with the people you want to. But, understand that not everyone is using social media sites. But, it is possible that every single is using dating sites & an app. Online dating is trending in all other countries, apart from India. While the study says most dating sites have only men so the market is also struggling to create a site that attracts women. And talk about the US men, it says they are not at all romantic, and French people don't take dating serious, this might be bad news for Indian girls who want to date American men & settle down there. But yes, American men are practical, so they use proper methods with planning. Either it is for dating or for getting rich.Australians are not interested in dating, they feel shy about it. So if you go for a date with an Australian, then you will feel like you are hanging out with friends. There will be no such thing as dating. But, Brazilian couples value the passion of dating. And also found that traffic from India kept increasing day by day so sometimes dating companies feel surprised that they are receiving traffic from countries which they didn't even target. The beginning of the second day started normally with cool fashion with all prominent people greeting each other, officials welcoming writers of all 21 nations with smiles and handing on schedule of the day to take on, And it was going to be one more day of fun, galore and happy smiles all along. It kicked off with the Honorary directors, organisers and other people being honoured for their service, their short gratitude and explaination of the role they have handed in such time so well, and their wishes to all who have come to represent expecting that preservation of culture in writing shall go on which was agreed by all of us. Once that was done, the proceeding started and it was field adventure to come on where some local sites across Andree Pension, Castelel peles and other local areas were introduced and their impact was explained by the guiding experts while we were observing them that helped the early start to be a prominent one. In such exploration it was great to know the Historic medieval tradition of Romanesque pillars, the way people used to preserve Candle cultures in marvel stones, The way fountation measurement was applied for water management system by early modern Romanian ruling groups and We also came to know the way things were applied in historic fashion. Besides we got the oppurtunity to look after cultural pillars that stand tall inside Castelel Peles and we got the oppurtunity to touch the prime Royal Amblem, the cultural symbol of peace of arts, and we felt great to have it's experience as explained by the guides along side us. Once that was accomplished, we got back into our cabs, took the oppurtunity to reach cafeteria to have vegetarian lunch and it was time approaching now when things would become formal as well as People would have to go back. But the exploration was great in all respects while visiting such hot spots and touring them made it so special after observing such traditions in such great way. Once our outyard adventures have got over, We had lunch, and have been enjoying each other company Thence we decided to take a short experience note with journalists present about the trips in local areas and the writers/poets from all 21 countries took their positions on 6 different podiums inside explaining their experiences altogether. After the experiences and feedbacks were done, things started to get more formal and one more confrence was planned by the organisers but this time not in separate subsessions but in one whole group structure involving all and it took place on the second town hall integral place. Here we all as authors/poets gathered to discuss the future of creative writing and this confrence's main aim was to discuss that what may be the plans to protect the writing culture? How to save it for the next generations? And in what way right steps can be decided? It went all well for around 3 hours with participation, enthusiasm and great thought process of all the writers providing feedbacks for what can be done and how things can be affective and I listened out, argued with some and enjoyed it a lot for sure. And once it was over the final proceedings were on show coming very close now reminding me again of the past happiness of World poetry championship award receiving and I guess this time the process was going to be same one, though the Award ceremony has been much different than that with it's title which suits the best, and I now awaited hoping to have more great fond memories at large. it was time for the last proceeding now and It was as mentioned in above lines has to be the award ceremony where all writers, jury members, associates, guests and prominent names were settled according to their names, places and position waiting for their name calls and receive such prestigious honour. I was only told on the early momentum of 1st day that an award known as 'Best Asian community poet' award has been confirmed in relative to me and I held my breath waiting for the right time. In the beginning the most high ranked officials, organisers and deligates were first called to receive their honours one by one. Once they were over the members of Jury from Europe were called to receive their awards on basis of their literary ranks. Then the official leaders of certain countries were called upon to gain, oblige and receive such prominent awards on basis of their literary standards. And after that all honorary process was over,  thence our numbers came by to get the honours done by receiving our prestigious awards on basis of our commendable performances in field of literature. We were seated according to the alphabetical order on basis of sir name and I seated myself behind Pane, Panoe and Panser waiting for my turn which was not far and meanwhile other honorary writers have started to get the awards I engaged myself holding Mango shake aloft as well as enjoying Veg muffin and once the name was called it was great to settle. I went to stage supported by a volunteer, received the honorary trophy, saved it in my bag, spoke for 5 minutes on transition of Technology for creative writing and didn't extend my hand for the prize money as I have discussed earlier with the award giving committee that the fund should go for the weakened Literary families of Balcan community. And a smile on my face I shook hands with the honour giving members, had some photo clicks with them and Ultimately it was over for me. But it was not all over yet, other remaining writers/poets were receiving their awards and My newly made friends continue to crack jokes while we enjoyed Mango shakes all along, thus once the last alphabet 'Z' was over Thence the award ceremony had come to the close. At the end of all such formalities, the key organisers came to the stage once more and presented their analyses of whole 2 days as the contributory moment of the Validictory function explaining how things went, where they wish to improve more, and how management went through with great support of all of us. Once that was done, night crackers went high into the sky, the memory has almost converged to a glorious one, And with smile all around us the 2 day European Poetry Championship award ceremony was over at large...

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.1

Greed - In Gita Verse 1.1 Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: O Sañjaya, after my sons and sons of Pāṇḍu assembled in the place of pilgrimage at Kurukṣetra, desiring to fight, what did they do?By asking this question Dhṛtarāṣṭras reveals his eagerness. Foremost if we understand our eagerness we can see that we are eager when we feel scarcity, lack, fear etc. In that moment we are in a hurry to grab any opportunity that comes in front of us out of out greed and from here our downfall begins.Nothing happens overnight. Existence is very compassionate. Irrespective of our greed he gives us many hints not to fall prey to our greed. But we are so much consumed with greed we overlook the subtle hints and don’t pay any attention to them. And these subtle hints we call obstacles. We become more restless when any obstacle comes in the path of our greed.Greed is a bottomless pit like a quagmire which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the wants without satiation.Just to understand the nature of greed is enough. You need not do anything else to get rid of it; the very understanding will clarify the whole mess.Man is full or complete if he is in tune with the universe; if he is not in tune with the universe then he is empty, utterly empty. And out of that emptiness comes greed. Greed desires possession or accumulation: by money, by property, by furniture, by friends, by lovers – anything, because one cannot live as emptiness. It is horrifying, it is a ghost life. If you are empty and there is nothing inside you, it is impossible to live.To have the feeling that you have much inside you, there are only two ways: either you get in tune with the universe.... Then you are filled with the whole, with all the flowers and with all the stars. They are within you just as they are outside you. That is real fulfillment. But if you don’t do that, and millions of people are not doing that, then the easiest way is to fill it with any material things.Greed simply means you are feeling a deep emptiness and you want to fill it with anything possible; it doesn’t matter what it is. And once you understand it, then you have nothing to do with greed. You have something to do with your coming into communion with the whole, so the inner emptiness disappears. And with it, all greed disappears. That does not mean that you start living naked; that simply means you do not live just to accumulate things. Whenever you need something you can have it.Greed is not a desire at all. So you need not do anything about greed. You have to understand the emptiness that you are trying to fill, and ask the question, “Why am I empty? The whole existence is so full, why am I empty? Perhaps I have lost track; I am no longer moving in the same direction, I am no longer existential. That is the cause of my emptiness. So be existential.Let go, and move closer to existence in silence and peace, in meditation. And one day you will see you are so full – overfull, overflowing – of joy, of blissfulness, of benediction. You have so much of it that you can give it to the whole world and yet it will not be exhausted. That day, for the first time you will not feel any greed – for money, for food, for things, for anything. You will live naturally, and whatever is needed you will find it. And you will live, not with a constant greed that cannot be fulfilled, a wound that cannot be healed.

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.2

Focus On What You Want - In Gita Verse 1.2 Sañjaya said: O King, after looking over the army arranged in military formation by the sons of Pāṇḍu, King Duryodhana walked up to his teacher and his commander of army Dronacharya.Actions Speak Louder Than Words: before Duryodhana spoke he revealed his focus through his action. He walked to his teacher and his commander of army Dronacharya without his team. It clearly shows from his action that he did not wanted to restructure his strategy after looking over the army arranged in military formation by the sons of Pāṇḍu, to win the war. He just wanted to defeat them. Lot of difference is there when we want to win the war and defeat someone.Universe doesn’t understand the language of others or mine. It only understands where your focus is. As Duryodhana’s focus was on defeating the Pandavas his strategy and action was how to defeat and in that process he lost the war. From our childhood we have always been told by our parents, elders and teachers “Always wish good for others.” Why? One of the reason is when we wish good for others good comes to us. They also told us whenever we want to give something to others give them the best. At that time due to our immaturity we couldn’t understand this. This is the reason whenever something goes wrong we need to check what was our thinking when we are giving to someone.Let me share with you one incidence of Manohar Parrikar’s life - Watermelon Festival:In September 2016, the humble resident of Parra, Goa, addressed an audience at the 14th FGI Awards for Excellence held at Vadodara. It was there that he gave one of his most memorable speeches. It was a speech where he recounts his childhood, growing up in the village of Parra and taking part in the famous ‘Watermelon Festival’. It seemed like a trivial story, one that was meant to evoke a sense of humanity – but it was so much more. Here’s what he said:“I am from the village of Parra in Goa, hence we are called Parrikars. My village is famous for its watermelons. When I was a child, the farmers would organize a watermelon-eating contest at the end of the harvest season in the month of May. All the kids would be invited to eat as many watermelons as they wanted. Years later, I went to IIT Mumbai to study engineering. I went back to my village after six and a half years. I went to the market looking for watermelons. They were all gone. The ones that were there were so small.  I went to see the farmer who hosted the watermelon-eating contest. His son had taken over. He would host the contest but there was a difference. When the older farmer gave us watermelons to eat he would ask us to spit out the seeds into a bowl. We were told not to bite into the seeds. He was collecting the seeds for his next crop. We were unpaid child laborers, actually. He kept his best watermelons for the contest and he got the best seeds which would yield even bigger watermelons the next year. He would also distribute the seeds to the farmers in his neighbourhood. The farmers sowed these seeds to grow watermelons. When the wind blew it carried the pollen from the flowers to his watermelon crop which received better pollen for fertilisation and produced desired watermelons. His son, when he took over, realized that the larger watermelons would fetch more money in the market so he sold the larger ones and kept the smaller ones for the contest. The next year, the watermelons were smaller, the year later even smaller. In watermelons, the generation is one year. In seven years, Parra’s best watermelons were finished. In humans, generations change after 25 years. It will take us 200 years to figure out where we had gone wrong while raising and educating our children. Unless we employ our best to train the next generation, this is what can happen to us.”Unless we become aware of where is our focus and correcting ourselves to shift our focus from receiving to giving, we cannot get best from our act - shifting from Duty To Responsibility. We always act out of our duty and not from responsibility. This is the reason we are not able to create environment of love or godliness which is residing in us. For example all over the world the main duty of the woman is to take care of food for every family member. When we sit at the dining table we expect the woman to serve the food. This same act can be viewed from a different perspective, it’s her duty but can I participate in her duty. With this thought you may help her to arrange the dining table to serve the food. The whole environment changes, from duty to participation. This is everyone’s responsibility to create loving environment. No one can stop you except yourself. Through this small shift in our thinking the universe will create miracles for you.

This award in romanian language is commonly known as 'Pentru cel mai bun poet al comunita-ii asiatice' Honour and has been a great one to have as a poet for any Asian born person. It is generally given to those people who have suffered any challenge in their lives belonging to the Prominent Asian continent and still come out of that making a phenomenal remark for themselves by contributing to culture, literature or in the academic field. In this way this is an award that gives empowerment to certain cultural sectors in Asia and it is for the community's power through recognising them by appreciating their potential for which it is ultimately presented. The award basically contains a shield with a medal with symbol of 'Falcun' on one side and of 'climbing birds' on other side that represents flight sorted out with challenge. A strong prize money also given to apreciate the contributions done by those certain persons appreciating his or her commitment in their prominentn field by their hard work being paid off. And the letter of appreciation by the jury that  gives the same in sinaia in Romania on a certain huge ocasion to recognise the virtual representation of such affiliation for which it is ultimately presented to the recipient presenting the virtual impact for his or her great commitments. I was asked during the invite of the European Poetry championship award ceremony to specify my presence which is to say that I should express my views on the certain award which I mentioned that should be better if it is kept secret and I should come to know about it later once I have been part of fond memories and hence it was agreed and I was yet unaware of the award till the early afternoon of the 1st day of the Poetry award ceremony which was also good being patient. Once I was cornered by the European jury, explained that such award titled 'Best Asian community poet award' shall be on my name and I shall receive it on the 2nd day's award ceremony thence my joy was infinite and It was extremely greatful to all of them. I thanked the lord, my parents and family, gratified poets and author and as well as expressed my joy to the jury who has confirmed and they were equally delightful that made the day first on 4th of May coming to know that such certain award shall be presented to me on eve of 5th of May. Though one thing I made clear that I would not take the heavy prize money offered with it thus satisfied with letter of appreciation and the medal, and that shall go to the contributions of literary communities in Balcan core and difficultly though the jury agreed calling the representatives core who's joy was also on top and hence it was great to be part of such happy moment altogether. In the speech that followed when I was receiving the award, there were things I wished to convey to the writer's community and thence understanding my intentions the award handing team provided me the mike to speak out with galore and joy to express for which I was up to the core. I spoke about the culture of preserving human rights, Talked how culture of writing can be inspired and protected, explained that why Certain communities need to contribute in writing for their ultimate existence, and after thanking everyone with huge cheer and loud clappings all around it was over. I followed the volunteers who have taken me to the podium, asked them to help me out with the wait of the award's trophy which they did greatly, and after all things were rightly managed I went back to my position. Thus having such an award like 'Best Asian Community poet award' is one more memory for me to cherish and I shall keep it in my mind forever as I witnessed other poets/writers receiving their awards and I clapped in their turn like they have done for me that made it a great moment in the validictory function at large...

 5 June 2019

Just like any other design project, terrace garden designs require a lot of creativity, mainly because of the challenges that come with working with live plants. Terrance designers should be considered as they are experienced and talented at working in this area. The advantages of hiring a terrace garden designer are that they have a deep understanding of the materials and tools needed for effective landscaping. Terrace designers also understand how spaces work together to create harmony and the risks associated with landforms. Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.20
 Dhwani Shah
 6 June 2019

Team Of Universe - In Gita Verse 1.20 At that time Arjuna, the son of Pāṇḍu, seated in the chariot bearing the flag marked with Hanumān, took up his bow and prepared to shoot his arrows. O King, after looking at the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra drawn in military array, Arjuna then spoke to Lord Kṛṣṇa these words.Pandava did their preparation being very alert. The flag marked with Hanumān is declaration that like Hanumān, who out of his alertness and freedom became a representative and servant of Rama, Arjuna seated in the chariot bearing the flag marked with Hanumān, declared that out of my freedom and alertness I am a representative and servant of the Existence. Whatever be his order I will execute it. His order is my priority .In any circumstances before we act our preparation and surroundings speak for us. Through our ambience of the objective world we send a message to everyone how they should behave towards us.When Arjuna had sent message of representative and servant of Existence, he clearly conveyed that people who wanted to be representatives and servants of Existence can only join them . Pandava team’s objective was very clear, we would fight the war as a team, no one can have their individual agenda for the war. Not only as team of army but also team with the Universe. Universal Will will be our Will. Our team is a participant of the Universal Will. While Kaurava sent the message of only Duryodhana's will as paramount importance and anyone who has their personal agenda will also be welcomed. Why he was allowing the personal agenda? As I have mentioned in my blog Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.8, he was mentally lazy. Mentally lazy people want to throw their responsibility on others. For him the person who is joining his team has certain enmity and agenda for Pandava then he will be sure that that person due to his vengeance will kill certain people. So that much work he has do less. That much less responsibility will be on his shoulders. We always try shortcuts to fulfil our responsibility and achieve our goal. There are no shortcuts in life. One needs the courage to wait, one need not be tempted by the shortcut. And in life there are no shortcuts; only illusions are shortcuts. Life is arduous because only through arduous struggle does growth come to you; it never comes easily. You cannot get it cheap; anything that is cheap cannot help you to achieve any goal.Universe is not in a hurry. Remember: the mind is always in a hurry, Universe is never in a hurry. Universe waits and waits, it is eternal. There is no need to be in a hurry; life goes on and on and on, it is an eternity. But for the mind time is short, so the mind says, “Time is money.” Universe never says that. Universe says, “Experience,” not time. Life waits, can wait: the mind cannot wait, death is coming near. There is no death for life, but for the mind there is death. The mind always tries to find a shortcut. And to find a shortcut, the easiest way is to create an illusion: think that you are what you want to be. Then you become neurotic. If you decide to deliver the assignments of the Universe, not to find shortcuts then - your desire to blossom like a Rose in the Garden, You have to learn the Art of adjusting with the thorns.Pandava never wanted to find any shortcuts or put the responsibility of the circumstances on anyone. They could find out in the given circumstances what is the possibility to align with the Universe and deliver it’s assignments. For them even and odd circumstances were the same. They looked at the possibility to align with Universe. In this verse it says that Arjuna took up the bow and prepared to shoot the arrow and after looking at the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra drawn in military array, Arjuna then spoke to Lord Kṛṣṇa these words - it clearly indicates his hesitation. His hesitation is indication - Arjuna is not that assertive, he hesitates. And Arjuna’s hesitation is deep. People who don’t hesitate are often superficial, shallow. Hesitation arises from the depths of one’s being; hesitation is very significant. You are fortunate if you are gifted with a grain of hesitancy. Your hesitation will show that you have begun looking at life in its totality. Then you will not speculate that this is true and that is false. You will not say that only the truth is, or only the untruth is. You will know that true and false are two aspects of the same thing, two notes of the same song. Then you will know existence and non-existence are two different notes of the same flute. We can well imagine the problem of a person who sees life in its totality, because his statements are bound to be hesitant and hazy, paradoxical and confusing.Hesitancy is the transitional stage the beginning of the journey. It is only after one hesitates that he goes beyond it. And there are two ways to transcend it. If you accept one side of the truth, your hesitation will disappear. After looking at sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra drawn in military array, he hesitates, why he hesitates and is not assertive - as with his doubt and queries he went to Krishna and not to reconcile with his own will. If he had reconciled with his desire and will he would have been assertive and immediately start fighting. He went and spoke these words to Krishna to show that he is ready to wait and not eager to act.
