Review of “Wheels of Wish” by Bibhu Datta Rout
 Niyati (The_bookshire)
 21 February 2018

Book - Wheels of WishAuthor - Bibhu Datta RoutGenre - Mythological and crime fictionMy Ratings - 3.5 / 5 ⭐️Review -This Crime Fiction novel by author Bibhu Datta Rout is both intriguing and refreshing. The story revolves around an incident that occurs in 2008, with the accused being Shashank, also happens to be in a romantic relationship with Roohani, the victim of the crime. This leads to an interesting chain of investigations, a lot of courtroom drama and conspiracies of unheard, unimaginable circumstances and links to past as old as 13th century. The story goes back to 1200 AD when the chain of mysteries has its roots linking historical and mythological figures which is an Essential dimension in the whole storyIt’s a very short, descriptive and to the point novella, of about 200 pages. The good thing is that the author doesn’t seem intent on beating around the bush. But only at some places it feels a little rushed. The work of mythological facts and fiction is beautifully blended. That being said, the language, narrative and editing could have been much better. Also the Direct translation of certain Hindu words into English is a bit of a let down. I would want more had it not been for some loose ends the book had left.Other than that it’s a good book. Short and fast paced.I’ll definitely recommend you to read this book, especially if you are a Mythological fiction fan.-The bookshire

Book Review: Who Will Cry When you Die by Robin Sharma
 Surender Negi
 1 April 2018

My Rating : 3 / 5I am a not very usual reader of self-help books but I read them time to time. The last self-help book which I read was “You can win” by Shiv Khera in 2009. After that, I did not get chance to read them. Robin Sharma’s Who Will Cry, Whenyou Die might be one of few self-help books which I have selected for myself. I haven’t got chance to read Robin Sharma best-selling book “The monk who sold Ferrari”  but luckily one of my roommate having this book. Confession: I haven’t bought that book but took it on loan from my friend. Might be I will steal from him because that book is simply Awesome.Robin Sharma has written many books on the subject of leadership, self-help, professional guidance, and spirituality. he himself claimed the constant student of philosophy and mentioned that he has amide interest of changing the lives of millions.Irrespective of his attractive writings, he runs the seminars, performs personal classes for high table peoples around the world through his company. This book contains many heart touching topics related to Life, discipline, and leadership. This book is mostly a call for people who don’t want to regrate in their life. I would like to discuss the personal lesson which I vow to follow after reading this book.Write a journal for yourself. It might seem like a crazy idea but I think everyone must try this once in their life. I used to write personal diaries from 2005 to end of 2009. But after being in Job and same monotonous life sucked up my passion for reading, writing and learning for few years. I took the vow to relive my habit of reading in 2014 and that year I have completed 50 books and almost reading more than 12000+ pages. In the year 2016, I also promise to my self that I will start writing and I am doing it from 2016 to till now through this blog. Now I feel that, while these two habits change my life tremendously, this book remind me about my third habit for writing journals for myself. I am a great fan of fountain pens and paper white crispy dairies. I have good fountain pen but next week I am going to buy a diary for talking to myself.Learning Tough loveThis is might be the most difficult thing to do. But I am going to learn tough love with my life. I am not allowing my laziness to fill my days with excuses and crying about things cant be change. I am going to stick with myself (Mind and Body). I remember that one of my European friends told me thatIndians are great people with lot’s of potential but they lack consistency and discipline.I agree with my European friend. Indians even after having so much energy, fail to channelize that power because we believe that breaking the rule is normal. We (as an Indian) don’t believe in the firm and steady lifestyle while we believe that things get settle down eventually. That’s where we are weak and we lack focus.I personally need to reinstate that focus in my life. It can be started with minor but permanent changes. Like I have started to wake up 6:00 AM anyhow. I vow to get into bed around 11:00PM. I have told myself that I will read minimum one hours daily. Eat almonds for my health.Having a book all the time with meThis is one of the ideas which I like most. I mean how many of us notice that we waste our time by sleeping, chatting and gossiping during the day. How many of us waste their hundred hours by standing at lines, watching TV’s shows rather than having a book which can give us million dollar ideas like this one did to me.I am not saying that everyone must have the book and read it unconsciously. But I am saying that use the time which is being wasted in your life.My Mantra is simple: Life is short, Read !!Original Blog

Aditi, a pro-level pessimist boasts her proficiency in envisioning worst possible consequences of every situation. After bumping in to each other, the course on which their life was previously treading begins to witness a complete transformation. The tender age pushes them to believe what they shared was more than a mere comradeship. They try to repel the feeling at first, but it intensifies to such an extent that both of them end up getting swallowed by it. However, they must keep an eye out for the lurking danger as there is a person who is on the quest to bereave them of something which will certainly put their and whole world’s fate in jeopardy. How will their destiny unfold? The cover is catchy enough and the reader shall pick the book up just after looking at it once, the blurb as compared to the story gives an apt just of the entire story. The title My Love Is Away From Mortality is apt according to the plot. This is the story of the protagonist Manav Kashyap and Aditi Gupta. Manav is a sleepyhead and a football lover on the other hand Aditi a pessimist and a book worm. Aditi and Manav soon became friends in school. They were intimate in School days, but the distance started growing between them when they took admission in different colleges. Still their hearts always covet for each other all the time. Despite knowing that their world will be meaningless without each other, still their hearts were not convincing enough to confess their love for each other. Will Manav confess his love with Aditi? How will there destiny unfold? To know more what happened next read the book. However, one thing i want Manav to know is that even if something undesirable happens. I will never stop loving him. I am mortal, but my love for him is away from mortality.Words flow smoothly and emotions find expression thus making the book a veritable treat.  Never felt my interest waning. The every scene and all character are well crafted that you can actually get images of them in your mind. Narration of the novel is simple and really nice. The pace is perfect, neither slow nor too fast. It is steady and smooth. Language is perfect, simple yet elegantly written. I did not liked the climax and Salistonia story felt in complete. I wouldn’t say it would be the same when you finish reading it.  Perceptions may differ. You might like the way the story ends. The author has portrayed each and every character with utmost significance of their own and every one of them has done justice to their respective roles throughout the story. An engrossing read that’s capable of keeping the reader on edge till the very end. Aravind (Arunima’s brother) is also coming from US to attend the party so Manasi decides to use the opportunity to meet him. She had a crush on him. Book Title: Seductive AffairAuthor:Rishabh PuriFormat: Paper BackTotal Number of Pages: 184Language: EnglishPublisher: Srishti Publishers & Distributors;Publishing Date: 10 July 2018ISBN-10: 9387022277ISBN-13: 978-9387022270Prisha Khatri is a regular college graduate, focused on her career, desperate to finally move out of her parents’ house and freshly dumped by her successful fiancé. When she lands a job at a prestigious media house, she’s glad to have something to take her mind off her heartbreak. What she doesn’t expect is to be landed on a business trip with a famously fiery reporter Rajesh Lagheri. He’s travelling to a business conference for a story and doesn’t seem impressed by her involvement. But as soon as they’re out of the office, things change and it becomes clear that there is more to Rajesh’s trip than meets the eye. As Prisha is drawn into the story he’s trying to hide from their editor, their hunt for the story grows more intense and she finds herself growing closer to Rajesh. As their chemistry threatens to overwhelm them and Prisha is pulled deeper into the Seductive Affair, she must decide what matters most to her matters of the head or of the heart. My TakeStarting from the cover and title is enchanting. I expected it to be a dark romance thriller but it's a simple love story based on career and love. The title is misleading there is no seduction in the plot. The book is a bag of emotions, love, hate, relationship, passion, separation, trust, bond, joy, happiness, family, relationships, life, sadness, betrayal and many more. This is the story about main protagonist Prisha Khatri. Prisha getting ready for the first day of her dream job and remembering her past where her ex-fiance Aditya ditched her because she wanted to work and he wanted a wife who will sit at home, cook, raise children and take care of them. Breakup with her ex-fiance due to his insecurity, she is all set to enter corporate world, her dream job. She joins The Chronicles as in one of the leading newspapers of the country. She is attracted to Rajesh a senior reporter. Rajesh and Prisha travels for a businesses  conference in Mumbai where they find themselves getting close to each other while covering a story for their article. To find out more read the book.Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. I have read the author's previous work i have much expectation from this book too but i'm disappointed this time. Plot becomes predictable sometimes. The story is faced. Narration was simple and okey. The characters are good but could not able to connect with them. A few typographical errors here and there need to be rectified. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much much better.I'll recommend this book to beginners for a light read.  Overall Ratings 2/5 StarsGrab the book here- Amazon.in Amazon.com Amazon.co.ukAbout the AuthorRishabh Puri is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with a flair for writing. Find out how Sushil changed into a successful person from an ordinary boy.My TakeStarting from the title of the book You Are the best thing That Happened to Me gives the hint’s to readers it’s going to be a love story. The title is apt according to the plot.  It’s been said that never judge a book cannot be judged by looking at its cover alone but I personally feel cover can be much better to catch attraction among readers. The story starts with an award function where our protagonist Sushil Pandit receives an award for best employee of the year 2016. Sushil Pandit is a mechanical engineer by profession and author of two bestselling novels. He has achieved everything in life except the love of his life. After the function on his way to home he happens to meets Anuradha a journalism student who doing some research on authors. Later Anjali and Sushil become best friends who can understand each other well. Sushil was confused with his feelings towards Anjali is it love or attraction? Ashish and Anjali are they both equally important to him he can’t even think of losing one for other. On the other hand Ashish had a crush on Anjali. To know more what happened next to Sushil read the book. The author had beautifully weaved the struggles of every middle class family, the family bonding, surprise birthday celebration of Anjali at tuition center, hang outs with friends, decision to choose between career and love, struggles after college, job hunt and many more incidents. I love how cunning crafted the mother and sons bonding.Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. A book which won’t require the use of a dictionary, a book which evens an amateur reader would love to get indulged in. The pace of the story is slow and kept dragging at some time. The characters are well developed and one can easily relate them.  Narration of the book is simple and engaging. A few typographical errors here and there need to be rectified. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much better. If the Hindi dialogues were translated into English it was much better since everyone will not able to understand it.I recommend this book to the readers who are seeking for a quick read or a light-hearted romantic novel.Overall 3/5 StarsGrab the copy here- Amazon |FlipkartAbout the AuthorSushil Kumar Rana is a Mechanical Engineer work in an MNC company in Odisha.
