Harvey Leigh Cantwel aka HRVY is the guy of every teenage girl’s dream. With sky blue eyes and a ruffled blonde hairdo, the 19 year old lad is a fountain of talent. Seated at the Bottomline Media office, in a pair of torn jeans and a dark blue kurta, with his management team all around, when we meet HRVY, he’s like your boy next door, casual and down to earth. His first ever live performance at Hard Rock Cafe in Mumbai was sold out with many claiming his performance was truly astounding. He had the girls literally falling for him. His alluring face, million dollar smile and attractive looks, all go to make him a real charmer. HRVY is today one of the most searched singers with his video Personal clocking about 50 million views to date. His songs Phobia, Holiday and the latest single Personal are hot favourites with teens, with their lyrics, most stemming from HRVY’s personal life experiences. HRVY is a social media sensation on platforms such as Instagram and Twitter Before his fame on social media, HRVY was a presenter on BBC’s Friday Download. After that he took to social media and released his first EP, Holiday on 25th July, 2017. While his name is on every teens lips, we can’t but wonder, why the Londoner from Kent, chose HRVY and not his real name. We choose to find out this and lot more when The Teenager Today’s music columnist Verus Ferreira got exclusive access to the dashing youngster. Here are excerpts from that conversation:So everyone wants to know the reason for the change in name. Can you tell us where the ‘a’ and ‘e’ disappeared? My team thought we might take out the vowels ‘a’ and ‘e’, and see how it sounds and make my name sound a bit different. It just stuck What music did you listen to while you were growing up?I listened to U2, songs that my dad used to play in the car. I also like Justin Timberlake, he’s great, then there’s a singer Craig David from the UK and a lot of people who were on the charts while I was growing up. So when did the real love for music light up in you?Music got my fancy at a young age when I was like five or six when I first got to understand what music really was and really enjoyed listening to it. By the time I was 13, I decided that music was what I wanted to do. I had posted a cover of a song on Facebook called ‘Simply Amazing’ by American singer Trey Songz. I shared it around on Facebook and it got a lot of traction for me and it just reached a new high. Then my manager thought I should make a video of it with me singing in it and yeah that’s how it really clicked. So it was a Facebook video which appeared on YouTube. Do songs like Phobia, Holiday, or Personal, give out a message to all your fans? Well not really, I mean, we just write about how we feel which is a concept on how we all work. I like Holiday which is a bit of fun, while Phobia was like more of heart break song, and I know people would like that kind of stuff, it’s just got that romantic side to it. So do these songs stem from your real life experiences? Some of it kind of influenced it a bit, while some of it isn’t, and some is just made up. Well going back in time I liked this girl and so it comes from there. Well the songs are a little bit of my own experiences, and so like I said, like Personal has a line about my ex girlfriend, with a line... you used to flirt with your friends. And as I said I guess a lot is also made up. Every artist goes to a lot of obstacles to reach the top, you have succeeded quite easily. How did you do it?I feel like my career is only just started, and I am sure there will be some obstacles in the way in the future. I think for now it’s been pretty okay, I’ve been on the top, so I’m fine. Your EP ‘Talk with Ya’ has both the songs Phobia and Personal. Phobia is slow, while Holiday is a bit up tempo. How do the fans react to such songs? The fans really like Phobia because it’s much slower, while Personal is danceable, which is really good, so they get a chance to choose what they really like, they have both, songs that they can chill out to at a party and the other to just listen to. Besides singing do play any musical instruments?I really want to learn the piano; I think it’s a very beautiful instrument So in the future what songs would you like to make, slow or maybe a few dance numbers?I would like to release music that has everything, that has both slow and fast numbers.Coming to your first visit to Mumbai, when you knew you were coming to India, what is the first thought that came to your mind?I am really happy to be in India, even if it’s just 5 days. It’s amazing to see such a diverse culture out here. I love the people, they’re so friendly. Everyone who I met, asked me about how I liked the country. They were really very nice and kind to me. So have you heard or watched any Bollywood movies?I have heard a lot of Bollywood and there’s this actor that we have been talking about with my team, I think his name is Shah Rukh Khan and yes I want to watch his movies before I go or take some DVDs home with me. You also have a tour with The Vamps coming up soon, are you also planning a collaboration with them also?Yes I have a tour with them in March and about collaboration well who knows, we are all friends and it may happen. So for now, it’s just the tour with them and just have some fun and yes we want to come to India again. I love the country and will be here again soon. The Vamps are supposed to be on tour in India in June this year and I’m coming back with them. Do you plan on shooting any music videos in India, considering that there have been many artists like Coldplay who have also shot videos here? Now that I have been here I definitely want to shoot a video, and yes the next time we come to India, or maybe when we come in June and also at the end of the year, we may just decide on it. We would probably take in a bit of the Indian culture in it and yes wear something like this (points to his blue kurta). So what are your dreams and aspirations? To take over the world in a good way, musically have my music everywhere. What are your future plans?Just keep releasing songs and to release more music, travel around the world....... just to have fun.... really. What memories would you take from India?I take memories of the people, how they relate to me, the things I’ve seen on the streets, everything around me, the food. I want to try some street food, we haven’t really done that yet, we have kind of hotel food at the moment, so I want to try the dosa. So finally we come to a question many girls would want to know. Do you have a girlfriend? No (laughs). I don’t, I am singleAny message for your fans? I love you guys, thank you for being so supportive, Shukriya. Text and Photos by Verus Ferreira

These primarily included famous political leaders from various Indian Political parties also.Dr. Dattatray Samant or Datta Samant), and popularly known as Doctorsaheb was the trade union leader, who is most famous for leading 200–300 thousand textile mill workers in the city of Bombay now Mumbai on a year-long strike in 1982, which triggered the closure of most of the textile mills in the city. The book is based on this incident but based on timeline as in the year 82.. Being Indian, some news brings you shame. This kind of news is one of them. In 21st CE, Where the whole world watches us with their understanding of this century shamed us for such gender discrimination. In distance village of Rajasthan, Banswara. Few NGO went and found that there is a tradition for women. In this tradition, women eat after his male partner and family. eventually, NGO found that it is gender discrimination and they started to educated women groups. Ironically, Many parts of India these kinds of practice is social norms. These kinds of practice have been unchanged in many decades. Many people saw them as regressive practice or culture which comes from Hinduism but for few of them, it’s only outdated tradition which must go as we live in the 21st Century. For Original article please go throw the below mention link:When women stopped eating leftovers?Irrespective of many arguments that this behavior comes from the patriarchal culture of Indian society, I disagree with this notion. I don’t think so original and fundamental culture of India was male patriarchal in nature. All original scripture which has founded Hinduism agreed on one simple fact:“Women should be worship like Goddess and Their respect brings Devas (deities) into the home”. (Paraphrased from Manusmriti)There are several examples where we Indians celebrated the world most taboo things. Sex (Kamasutra is one of the celebrated book in Indian culture about sex) symbols and position. There is temple which is dedicated to sex and sexual posture. I don’t find that people were having about watching these images together.Khajuraho images which show various posture of sexual activities. (Source: The Wire)So how can a society which gives sex (A widely accepted taboos in all Abrahamic religion) images a place in their temple has become such regressive that they were not allowing women to eat together? It simply baffled me.More than half (51%) of all Indian women of reproductive age have anemia, according to the Global Nutrition report 2017. While our women are not allowed to eat properly. This is a shame situation. But as I was expecting, few readers who have novice understanding about everything had tried to link it with North Indian states, few consider that it’s the fault of Hinduism and few consider that it’s due to our society which has regressive structure.I would like to remind all Indians, It is our burden to remove such practices out of the window and the real reason for such discrimination practice amongst women has nothing to do with Hinduism or It’s ancient culture. For understanding that women position in Indian society please go throw my blog:Women In Hinduism – Part OneWomen in Hinduism.(Wikipedia)We must need to accept that after Mugal invasion (I am not blaming here Mugal but the patriarchy culture they bring in India) our culture has been decayed and it is not inline with our scripture which gives women freedom, allow them social and civil rights. Slowly the local practices turn out to be more patriarchy. But I would like to share an example, which no Indian can be denied and that is the proof that still Indian culture have not inhibit complete patriarchy. When I was a kid. My father used to hard work. I have seen him giving complete salary to my mother (who was the housewife and earn nothing). I have seen him asking money from my mother for his daily expanse. This is the story of millions Hindus household. I never have seen such practice in other culture. Male used to keep all money and give a small number of women for their need. But the above mention practice is a popular culture amongst Hindu family which shows that financial owner of the family is “Women”, They have been termed as “DhanLaxmi” or “Finance Ministers”.So, In my point of view. This kind of practice happening because of Illiteracy. We need a massive drive of literacy (Dharmic and Modern). We need to teach people what they are doing is against of their culture and Modern values.Only Education and Social awareness can bring the change we want. Abusing a culture (which certainly no one understands because of its complexity) is novice attempt to shed of responsibilities. Blaming mindless way will help no one.We must not forget what Upanishads told us about eating habit in the family:And if a man wishes that a learned daughter should be born to him, and that she should live to her full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with sesamum and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring. And if a man wishes that a learned son should be born to him, and that he should live his full age, then after having prepared boiled rice with meat and butter, they should both eat, being fit to have offspring.— BRIHADARANYAKA UPANISHAD 6.4.17 – 6.4.18,The irony with Indians is that We are being more animal after leaving our dharma education. It is time when we bring back the dharmic culture back to our society.
Review: The Lightning Thief, in Heroes of Olympus, Rick RiordonImagine being a half happy. Being half sad. Being half of any expression or substance and not completely belonging to a clan or community which you can call your own. Imagine not being able to belong anywhere. Percy was one such character.Rick Riordon with his first novel in the series of Percy Jackson And The Olympians crafts one of the best selling fiction books and etches his name in the world of fantasy literature. In his book, the protagonist, Percy Jackson is anatomically, a half blood being. An exciting blend of human and a god.(That consternation when you imagine humans and Gods procreating!) Adapting many characters from the Greek Mythology of heroes and demons, Riordin traverses the readers through a world where the spectator wants to enter this realm of fantasy and live through it.The book starts to make a direct peak in the young readers life, by showing the Jackson’s tough time surviving in school because of his dyslexic nature. After having changed his school umpteen times, he gives up and makes his up his mind to settle and work towards his improvement in his personal and official life. He lives a normal teenage life, with his mother (who is more human than the two parents!) which comes with its own qualms. He tackles his love interest, reads top rated books and struggles in class like you would expect an average teenager to handle his life to be. Hence making it one of the best reads in fantasy novel section in a student’s and adult’s library too. The twist in his destiny comes when he experiences a tiff with one of his professors. Which is unusual since Percy is one docile creature. The tiff brews into a battle where his real identity is revealed and Percy is welcomed to the world of monsters and gods. After a heated battle and a headfull of mind numbing confusions, Percy returns to his house and is promised by his mom to be taken to his favorite Beach in Mantauk. At Mantauk start the real cat -dog race between dreams and reality. His greatest fear and unsettling notion of not being able to fit anywhere suitable for him and experiencing an unknown power over water gets to him and is teleported. Rordion makes this transition seem so swift and endearing it relates to every student’s transition to high school years, which makes it one of the best children’s books. He is taken to a place where he belongs, Camp Half Blood, and made to introduce with his new group of mates who are just as unique in their genealogy as he is. He, along with his favorite friend,Grover who now has become his satyr are introduced to a world of magic, sorcery and witchcraft. Percy finds himself in the mirror by the masters and centaurs who teach him about his life their and his identity unravels as the son of Poseidon- god of the sea. While Percy is following a strict and lax regime at the same time in his real home, meeting with other Demi-gods(Annabeth) (We ship them together!), things take toll in his personal life as his mom gets kidnapped and the world basically starts to tear down. In such a hassle to understand the reasoning behind these events, he is informed of another accusation made on him the Olympians. He becomes a target under suspicion when the king of the Gods,i.e Zeus’s lightening bolt gets stolen. Percy travels through many worlds and crosses his boundaries on the quest to decipher the thief and clear his name. He encounters many hellhounds, monsters and Oracle prophecies get to Percy just like his examinations and social gatherings used to. He learns and masters his skills and spearheads his connect with water through his half stallion, half human teacher, Chiron and uses them to protect Annabeth, Grover against trouble. While getting rid of Hades and his callous tricks to stop Percy from his pursuit to trap him and his team, he exercises his full power and shows his wrath to the God of Wrath himself. Nobody messes with the son of Sea! After passing all the hurdles and dodging arrows, Percy finally is able to restore the peace amongst the gods in Olympus and he goes onto retrieve his mother as well. A well crafted novel revolving around Greek Gods and monsters become very relatable because of the author’s simplistic and innovative expression makes it an impressive story book in english for adults as well. All turning out well at last, but this is just the latest in the series of new novels under the Heroes Of Olympus by Rick!
Maps And Mother Goddesses in Modern India”,Imago Mundi, Vol 53 pp. 97-11by Sumathy Ramaswamy; “Death of a Kotwal”, The Caste Question pp.241-264 by Anupama RaoThe scales of shapes and skills remain balanced so long there is a constant urge to take action through acts and thoughts. Borrowing evidences from the texts from The Death of A Kotwal and Maps and Mother Goddesses of India, this paper argues how bodies produce knowledge. It lurks around the former where an innocent Kotwal is bludgeoned to death and the latter provides for a bodyscape which helped unite India. This paper reflects how irrespective of the existence of materials, constant interactions in the society can lead to formation of perceptions and abstractions. NON LIVING PARTICIPATION IN ACTIONBodies are known to be the hub for interactions and debates. Apart from their physical realities, in a rut to fight and provide evidence, humans intensify the meaning of the non-existential bodies to make them exist. Rao, in her paper explains the helplessness of the family and the Dalit community after Sawane’s virtual corpse is put under the eyes of the law. The case expedites when it is scrutinized deeply and Rao mentions, “The addition of the PCR Act’s Section 3(x)was mandatory and signaled that the case merited extra care as an atrocity”(243). The idea of the investigation of a dead body by another body in power(legislation) sensationalized the tiff in hand. This case was chalked out as an exception from all of the Anti-Dalit discriminations, because of its gruesome severity. Ramaswamy supporting this argument in her essasy argues reflects how soma (body) of a woman can be utilized for representing a map, to awaken the depressed patriots of India. She says, “These gendered bodyscapes also enable the viewing of the nation’s territory possessively, even pleasurably”(109). Considering maps of margins and boundaries incapable of provocation of any belongingness, she intensifies the need and power of embodiment. Such bodyscapes hence acted like moderators between different ideologies to brew a collective revolution.Man’s constant attempt to question and frame an individual to gain attention has made his instinct for differing between the real and unreal blind. The once real, body of the Kotwal and the virtual Mother India, both created by man are not hotplate for discussion and representations.STRUCTURES TO ABSTRACTIONSBodies are meant to provide a structure and materialize the abstractions. However their state of living existence may be, bodies never cease to engender knowledge and awareness. When put under a magnifying glass of human perceptions, one views different from the other. Rao expresses how the location of the village was harmless yet a catastrophe occurred. As the case progressed it was found out that apart from being Dalit and follower of Ambedkar, he was also the gate keeper for his area. Rao writes, “Living outside the village boundaries, the mahar veskar is the outsider figure who protects the integrity of the village social unit” (258). Sawane wasn’t only a material body, but upon his death,a lot of humanity and responsibilities failed which remained unnoticed.Sumathy Ramaswamy too expresses how blank cartographical representations of their progressing nation once looked at differently, livened up. The body of the mother goddess as a map now, calls for national urge to freedom. She writes “They invite the citizen subject who gazes upon them to relate the nation not as some abstract, dead geographical space but as a near and dear person, his personal goddess, his vulnerable mother, even a beloved lover “(110). One couldn’t have imagined the power of abstract images with bodies to shake the restlessness in the nation and make them aware about their surroundings. These perceptions help build studies of knowledge and emotion amongst people who are witnessing the action. Hence to attain the key of all the knowledge of interest from a body, one must seep through all the roots of the body and decipher all its actions and emotions it represent for others before making quick judgments. It is only then when our deductions will surpass the normal overview of bodies, that we will take a leap into the world of actual reality.KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGES ON THE BASIS OF PERCEPTIONSCo-existing with other humans in the universe leads to various perceptions and ideas to be built around the body. The way he moves, his actions, his speech, all comes into consideration when there is an observer or listener who symbolizes his being with respect to own life. On one hand, Rao reflects the importance of politics in the society, on the other,Ramaswamy talks about the status of the female community through her work. The latter writes on behalf of many and says “feminist geographers have suggested that the conception of the nation as cartographically female enables a ‘masculinist’ relationship to the place”(109).In their purview, such kind of bodyscaping was centralized so men could join arms and perform righteous duties towards the vulnerable mother nation. On a similar note, Rao reflects how ideas taken from the perception of Dalit communities and Ambedkar’s role as a political leader helped shape the judgment. She resounds the case progressions and says, “Kharkov distinguished two forms of phenomenal violence: new violent caste social displayed in conflict around Ambedkar statue and retaliatory counter violence that reinstated Dalits’ stigmatized status” (255). This knowledge became crucial in understanding and refining the position of the Dalit kotwal and his ambition of constructing a statue of Ambedkar. The distress of the Dalit community and their political representative from the past, would not have come under notice if there was no action amidst communities. The analysis that came in effect after continuous actions and perceptions made in societies would not have been produced without the continuous expulsion of knowledge from the bodies. It is due to such their status in the society and such symbolic representations, that we can extrapolate their relationships and achievements in the past.Humans, often involuntarily make decisions keeping in mind other people’s existence in their life and their effects. As goes their anatomy, knowledge can never be separated alone from the way they occupy space. This space however need not be tangible or visible, for what matters more is the influence created by it. By their own will, the bodies spout a river of emotions and actions in due course of their life. As they interact, the by products become adaptable and appreciable by the people over who he has the influence. Now this influence can be used to target a set of people or a notion, it can be used as a boon or a bay, or a tool or weapon. These assumptions about perceptions, extraction of reality from abstractions too are caused by an exchange in ideas and thoughts over time in space. Hence so I believe that bodies are more than occupants of the earth, they exceed their limits and become unique walls of creative knowledge.

Indian ElectionElections is basically a decision which is taken by the public to choose an individual to run a district, state or a country. Elections not only help in forming a government but it also helps in private organizations. The election came in practice from the Vedic period. The king used to elect another king from their sons. At that time there was no role of the public in elections. When the country did not get free and there was British rule in India, elections were held at that time also. But when India got independent, Indian public also got an opportunity to participate in the electoral process and to vote his/her choice of an individual. The process of vote transactions is called the election which is used to maintain the status of democracy. These political programs began to establish in the year 1950 and were established in the form of the non-lateral program. In 70’s election were held after every 5 years. The election commission is the main functioning body which conducts and regulates the election. The schedule is also prepared by the election commission. This commission is a constitutional body. It prepares the electoral rolls, voter id cards and makes an election booth where the public can come and vote for their individual. This body keeps an eye on everything happening in a booth so that no discrepancy should occur. It also appoints staff for supervising the election. The commission issues some code of conduct and all the party have to strictly follow certain codes. These code of conduct are basically some guidelines which need to be followed by political parties and candidates. On the day of the election, people used to visit the booth and vote for their candidate either through ballot paper method or electronic method. The voting is done area wise and once the process voting is completed the counting of votes are done in the presence of candidates. The one who gets the largest number of votes is declared elected by the district magistrate. The scenario of Indian election- In India, a person above the age of 18 has the right to vote and play a prominent role in forming a government. The preparation of election starts in advance. Every party finds a way to convince people to vote them by making banners, poster or organizing rallies and meeting people and giving a speech to convince them. Some also try to convince people by going door to door for votes. There is a chief officer is assigned to each and every polling booth who supervise all the arrangements and ensures that voting is done fairly and smoothly. The voting begins in the morning and ends at 5pm. But there are some parties who use unfair means of getting votes. These parties give money to poor people and many more things just for getting votes. They create a political atmosphere. Just because of these guys India is not able to grow. Today everyone wants to be an engineer or a doctor but no one wants to be a politician. In fact, everyone just ignores the politics happening in front of them just by thinking why to dip our hands in this. In my point of view a sweeper is much better than these politicians, at least he dumps in sewage and cleans the dirt of the city. After 70 years of independence also India is said to be a backward country and the reason is public. We are the one encourages corruption and for some money, we give a vote to the wrong party who does not deserve to be elected. We are the one who thinks of ourselves and not about our country and just say that politics has ruined our country. Its neither politics nor corruption it's we who have destroyed our country. In India, there are many ways through which unfair polling is done. Either the politicians bribe the public or they give them warning to give them vote or else they will hurt them or their respective family members. Even these politicians bribe the officials to change the counting of the vote. No one knows how they did but they did it. Constitution of India is the supreme law and this law is been copied by other countries law. Our constitution is a compilation of many countries law and this shows why India is still a developing country. India is a democratic country, we are secular and we must have a separate constitution. If this change is done it might change our country.Apart from this India is captured by reservation also. Even in elections reservation quota is there in which some Lok Sabha seats are allocated to reserved category. In India’s Parliament, there are 543 seats and out of which 84 are reserved for another category. This reservation is now misused by the politicians for their vote bank. The politicians have an added advantage over this category for their vote bank. They support a reserved category to get some votes. This nuisance is supported by them just for a vote. Reservation is a painkiller. Instead of killing the problem, nipping it in the bud, they hide the symptom and harm the body in the long run. Reservations by design, cannot help those who are genuinely oppressed, but only those who are incompetent.Importance of voting-Voting is important because it gives the right to a common person to choose his or her ruler. The public gets an indirect control over the functioning of government and they also have the power to raise a voice against unfair meansVoting is our right and we all should actively participate in the election and only then we’ll have good governance.Today India is also on his knees and it needs someone to who can run this country properly. If we all can come together and fight for GST then we all can also fight for corruption. First, we need to change ourselves then only we can change the world. Instead of promoting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan first we should look inside ourselves and become a Swachh person then only India can become Swachh.

StoryMirror interviewed ThirdWatch and all about their venture. Here is what they have to say.Q. Tell us about yourself and your backgroundThirdWatch is about stopping fraud in digital transactions. We are avid e-commerce shoppers and has been shopping online since 2005 indiaplaza days when we used to order books online. Couple of years back I was trying to order TV for my Dad who lives in Greater Noida on one of the top 2 e-commerce sites of India however it was not taking the order despite being prepaid. When I ordered the same item to my Gurgaon address it came through. On digging deeper we found that fraud/abuse is a big problem in e-commerce and companies sometimes use broad rules like blocking certain pin codes/cities/states and/or international credit from ordering which affect genuine users part from fraudulent.Given our experience in building big data mobile analytics system we felt confident that we can solve this problem by using Ai and big data hence started ThirdWatch in April 2016.Q. What's is your business all about? Our platform Mitra prevents fraud in digital, banking and e-commerce transactions in real time using AI. Our system captures 200+ parameters and flag every transaction in real time as red or green. It generates a risk score also which defines riskiness of the transaction.By superimposing data from our own knowledge base and from third party databases we enhance the data captured from user transaction like zip code databases , ip address databases, mobile number validity databases. We also use micro models for address profiling, device signature, account profiling and velocity profiling. We capture the whole user behavior including the time taken to place order, the device user is using to order, ip address of user, location of order amongst others. We are very stringent on data security and sign a strong NDA with our clients however we do use networks effects to multiply effectiveness of our platform by collating fraud patterns across the client base and inputting values in our ML algorithm for e.g. fraud rate of email domain, fraud rate or zip code, area and many more.Q. How do you see yourself in next 5 years? In near future we would expand to South East Asia, in long term we will expand into preventing other financial frauds including Insurance and fintech fraud.Q. Message to your customers and viewersFor every customer, Thirdwatch has always been a profit centre and never a cost centre. E-Commerce companies can avail a free 2 months trial, and can actually validate the benefit we are offering themselves.Q. Which are your main clients? What is the process of integrations? How successful have you been in controlling such fradulent cases in India for these companies?Traction has been phenomenal since we launched, We are currently processing about 5000 transactions per day with a pipeline to reach 50000 transactions per day. Because of our NDA’s and agreements with our client we will not be disclosing clients list, but we are working with two of the top10 E-commerce Companies of India Q. What is the background of the founders? How big is the team?Adarsh Jain (36) and Shashank Agarwal (28) came up with the idea of ThirdWatch and utilising Artificial Technology to prevent fraud in the e-commerce domain. A few years ago, Adarsh tried to buy a Television set from a leading e-commerce website from his father’s residential address in Noida. The order was unsuccessful due to the location from which it was ordered. The same order could be processed, however, from his Gurgaon address. The problem intrigued Adarsh and he started to research and find the root of this problem. He got to know about the problem e-commerce sellers face, relating to fraud and abuse by fraudulent sellers. Shashank and Adarsh have prior experience with technology solutions, with multiple patents and patent applications in their names individually. They thought of combining their efforts to come up with an all-in-one, smart solution for e-commerce platforms. With a team of 10-15 people at such an early stage of ThirdWatch, the business is growing at a tremendous pace. More people will be on-boarded soon as and when the business expands to other cities and countries.Q. Is your technology scalable to a level wherein it can be used in govt offices or banks? If yes, please give the details on when do you plan on expanding there.Currently, ThirdWatch enables e-commerce businesses to prevent fraud and abuses they come across in form of promo code abuses, chargeback frauds, RTOs, Cash on Delivery frauds, identity frauds, and much more. ThirdWatch's AI- Mitra can be definitely used by Government agencies and banks to detect fraudulent users and block risky transactions. With regards to banks, Mitra can be easily employed to detect fraudulent credit/debit card payments, fake users, multiple accounts held by users to make fraudulent transactions, etc. Mitra can also be useful in the Digital India and Cashless society initiatives undertaken by our Government. There are numerous websites and apps that enable us to transfer money, complete e-KYC, file returns, etc. However, the risks associated with these apps are similar to the risks faced by e-commerce sellers. With AI, detecting and preventing fraud for the Government and Banks is easily plausible!Q. Data security being the Crux in today's internet era, how do you ensure maintaining that? ThirdWatch ensures complete security of the data provided by our clients with its strict Non-Disclosure Policies and Security Measures. The data provided is only used for analysing it and highlighting the transaction into 'risky' and 'fake' transactions. The security parameters are never compromised, and we maintain unmitigated security standards for the data we receive from our clients.Social Media Handles - Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thirdwatchai/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/thirdwatch-data-pvt-ltd/Twitter - https://twitter.com/thirdwatchaiG+ - https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/110280512617140226197/110280512617140226197Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWWWl8h50-w5xuek0GtUEKQ
‘God created humanity but we created differences.’
StoryMirror interviewed Viral Thakker and spoke about his venture eBZaar. Here is what he has to say.Q. Tell us about yourself and your backgroundI (Viral Thakker) have 13 years of corporate experience (prior to starting up), primarily as a corporate banker (Relationship Manager) working at ICICI, HSBC and JPMorgan amongst others and managing a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies, top 10 Indian Conglomerates and top 10 PSUs. After completing my Chartered Accountant course, I had a stint in internal & process audits, though business (sales) was always my calling. Audit happened by chance (or brutally put for incorrect guidance and then lack of opportunity) and a Sales role was by choice. My last role was an Executive Director at JPMorgan providing Trade Finance and Working Capital Loan solutions to clients North and East India markets.I also have 20yrs+ of experience as a grocery retailer, in a family business. Have first-hand experience as a milk delivery boy to procurement, selling at the cash counter, keeping track of margins, SKUs, what inventory to push and how to build a loyal customer base built on customer service and trust.Q.What is your life's greatest dream? To be atop Mount Everest and to travel the world. Q. What's is your business all about?eBZaar.com sells fruits, grocery, mithai, cakes, flowers, meat, sea food etc. eBZaar.com makes daily shopping easy and rewarding for the consumer. While daily shopping has many inconveniences, it is no secret that customers love their local stores who provide the right quality, the right products and the right price points. eBZaar empowers these local stores to come online. We provide them a free of cost digital store to help them sell to online customers. At the same time, customers get to buy all their varied grocery at one place, in an online avatar and with all conveniences of online shopping added. In other words, it customers are buying from a real world store but without the need to visit the store.Q. What are its main features and USP?The main feature is that eBZaar allows customers to shop from her own stores - that same quality, same price, same reliability. But now that her life is digital, she also sees the store in her digital world, available 24X7, better price discovery, improved product discovery and a uniform shopping experience. As soon as customer enters the platform, she inputs delivery address and her nearby stores are shown to her. She selects the store, shops from the store and checks out.We simply build upon the loyalty and trust that a customer already has with her favourite local store and add the digital layer; you can say we bring back the choice of products, quality and price points back to the customer; a factor that many large ecommerce offerings overlook.eBZaar also ensures that only your well known and trusted stores are on-boarded onto its platform, yes we have a curation process. This has been one of the success factors in our internal metrics which perform better then some industry averages.Q. What inspires you?To make a mark, to leave a legacy, to not give up, to make it happen – that is very inspiration to me. Sports stories and war stories of fighting out the odds inspires me. Towards, I see Entrepreneurship as an opportunity to make a real world large impact, to make the world a better place. And retail transformation is a chosen space due to my background.Entrepreneurship was always lurking as part of my aspiration as much as banking as a career. As I set about doing my research, I figured that the technology space was evolving rapidly, the big tech eComm players were becoming big, offering huge discounts to force customers to move online. The rate of technology adoption by consumers has been much higher compared to a retail stores. I realized that the retailer has failed to keep pace in the embracing technology, and if this continued, it will become a matter of survival for them. From the context of running a family grocery business for 25 years, I obviously had a lot of passion for this segment, and pull of retail was inherent in my thought process. I could feel and see their potential pain, this was most inspiration as I quit JPMorgan to set out on my own.The shopkeepers or the banyas are otherwise a very smart set of people. Sooner or later, they’d realise the need for online strategy. We decided to make this as our mission - to bring back parity between the tech savvy online consumers and the lesser evolved local stores, connecting them both on a single online platform. The obvious question was: What if I could add a layer of technology to create convenience on top of the existing trust and goodwill already built by the local kirana stores? Thus eBZaar was conceived. Beyond mere survival, it helps local retailer to also compete effectively in the digital world. I had always wanted to grow our family business manifold in to a big organised set of retail stores, after all as a Gujarati, business is in my DNA. And so our mission was formed, a mission of connecting a 100 thousand stores to more then 10million customers in next few years, using tech & online marketing for the digital transformation in retailQ. How do you want to see yourself 5 years from now?eBZaar is on a mission to connect million of stores of 100 million online customers in a few years time. While our current focus in Mumbai – the home market, in 5 years we should have completed our roll out to top 15 cities. Apart, we are working on a few additional tech products to create the desired transformational impact on the retail segment.Find them on Facebook.com/ebzaar , Instagram, twitter and google+.
Today, India is one of the most populous countries in the world, out of which most of the population is youth. Youth percentage in India is more than 50%, young people are full of abundant energy, courage, a spirit of adventure, imagination, hope, and ambition. The young men and women of India should be fully involved and creative work of nation-building and reconstruction. The younger generation, which is more generous, flexible, sensitive and dynamic, can do wonders if properly guided and motivated. In fact, the Youth is the future of India. In our country, children always taught by their parents and elders from their childhood to score good marks and be competitive and practical in life, despite of teaching them life lessons about kindness, loyalty, humbleness, helping others, etc instead of that they were taught to be mean, self centered, money-minded etc. In schools, they just got bounded and trapped between walls that just teach them to study as it is whatever it is written in the book, they don't have any practical knowledge about how the world works, how to behave, how to react in difficult situations of life, how to get rid from the unwanted problems. They don't have direction in life, they are just blindly following each other like a flock of sheep. Most of the youth are not aware of what is right and what's wrong, they are in the age where their extreme emotions can turn them into completely different individuals. They start drugs in very young age because of peer pressure and then became an addict with the passage of time. Their Brain stops working after reaching at one point when they completely dissolve themselves in the addiction. We can take the example of Punjab, where 90% of its total youth population was drug addict once, they even don't get bothered by their families, relatives etc. But all these reflect one-sidedness and lack of proper understanding on the part of the elders and grown-ups. The lifestyles youngsters adopt today are chosen either out of curiosity , peer pressure or fashion, alternatively stress, anxiety, and frustration drive them onto these paths. What is even more alarming is that the attraction of today's youth is no longer for ciggerate, tobacco, alcohol. These are now termed as soft items. The "in" things are cocaine, heroin, brown sugar which are so called as stress buster. Besides it, most of the young generation are living meaningless lives, they don't have any ambition or motives in their lives, they don't have dreams. They don't want chase success they are just living in a parallel universe where they just wanted that everything should work according to them. The time is declining very rapidly and now it's the time that they must realise that life won't work like this, they have to came out from the black hole that is attracting them everyday as soon as possible. They have to realise the meaning and importance of their life. They have to direction their lives in a particular way. The future of our country totally relies on the youth, they have to stop wasting their precious time and lives in drugs.

The day 2 of the Poetry world cup award ceremony again started with a bang where few local singer performed solo rock performances and the foreign poets were again asked to join in Prayers, song and lyrics happening around as all had been fresh and had just finished breakfast before joining such a ceremony. However it was a much highly expected official day and hence the people who were administrating had been busy more often than not and had been working entirely to focus on the award distribution that would take place in the 2nd session of the day. It also meant that in 1st session there would be more activity around, But before all that process to follow, the Higher official delegates and administrators of Romania and Bulgaria were witnessed on stage speaking to all writers and they talked about peace and harmony amongst all the hearts which was great in all respects.Once that process had been done, it was now time for some activities by those who had been invited for receiving the award and it was great advantage for all of us as we were asked by the officials to join together in alphabetical order on the stage and get together for a common photo session first and then have some literary presentation for the crowd gathered so we were asked to entertain them with our presence noticed. What this literary presentation meant was that the authors/poets had to recite one of the poems they had submitted for the poetry championship and they were asked to sing it rather than only read it which was going to be more interesting and it was great environment starting to build as the poets gathered,, climbed the another dace one by one and recited their poems. It was not only making a great atmosphere of peace and harmony but was also responded by huge cheer and applauses with coffee and chocolates being served around that was unique way to start and get things on way. However when the announcer called my name, I got bit surprised as I was expecting person sitting on my front row to go so the way I glimpsed back made other surprised as well and As I wanted there was some laughter which I have always liked to associate myself to make people laugh no matter whatever serious the mood to be. However I was ready and I went on with my poem instructing the Keyboard player what music I wanted and rhymed it on stage with good response and huge cheer. Not only I was getting happy to witness what was happening around, But I was feeling like I belonged to this place which was great and hence once I stepped back and was guided back to my place by some of my poet friends I was asked to join in Chocolate chips which I accepted happily. Hence the 1st official task for the foreign poets went well and I cheered in the speeches made by delegates before and at the end of function and at it's end after 2 hour show down It was called lunch so I went back to cafeteria in great spirits around. Although as the afternoon was progressing and the lunch had ended, the groups have started to chat and they all showed appreciations to the authorities who had taken charge to perform such a huge award ceremony and It was great fun to listen things all around. Once we went back to the auditorium on the ground floor next to the Momentum sphere building it was irry and peaceful once again with hardly voices going across and they were gurgling loud. Everyone sitting as poet had started to consider his or her position as the time had passed very quick and since then they all had been expecting to get some sort of award as it was all happening here so not taking much time the proceeding were announced by the Compare and we seated in lines and alphabetical order and applauded the delegates who again started the formal task by explaining what these awards matter to each and every poet so it was becoming such an environment now which nobody can wish to miss for ever. Before the award receiving ceremony could be started, A brief short film was produced by the organisers which was based on 'World order and it's current stage' with globalisation coming to the fourfront and recognising it's proceeding. IN the starting and final scene of the film, Few words were exchanged by the experts of photography and cinema as they explained why those scenes were there and once that had been done they started to chant about the Award ceremony to proceed that was what for which we all had gathered and it was going to be a cracker. Finally the moment was coming closer and the Announcer on the mike was asking we the poets to be ready according to the category to be in line and make sure that things become with formal process and right decision making. To give the Awards, the highest dignitaries of the Balcan countries have been gathered together and hence there were categories like 'Naturalist poet', 'Humour', 'Dystopia', 'Non Fiction', 'Rising Poet', 'Impressed in Early age', 'Revolutionary', 'Balcanist', 'Secularist', 'Globalised' and so many other. In total around 23 poets were going to receive the awards and it would happen on basis of the category whereby I was going to be awarded 'Gustav Icalnou medal' which is named after the famous Romanian poet Icalnu who rose in middle age and hence this poetry award is awarded for 'Rising poet' across the globe which was not far from me now and I was getting more nervous an was asking for chilled milk again which was provided and I am thankful to the authorities for managing me around. Although Once the process started all the chill and raspness has gone from all the poets who were going to receive the awards and it was happening very fast and in rapid succession as the poet or poetess who was getting award on basis of the category would go on stage, would shake hand with the delegates, and would speak few word of his or her choice, an then lifting the bag with Award and prize money would come back to his or her seat. On the basis of the category when my name was called a huge roar erupted across all the stages and in the building and it was really pleasing to listen out as I was welcomed on dace and I shook hands with the Romanian dignitaries who presented me the bag with award and prize money and hence My dream seems to be coming true and coming so close. I stood in front and lifted the mike to speak to the crowd that gurgled, and for a minute I let them celebrate and shout, and then talked with them about why we poets need to continue to hold the thread of 'social bonding' and why it is most essential for all of writing community. Once the noise had silence a bit, they started to listen me closer and as I spoke further it became quiet as they gave their attention and listened to my words where I mentioned the role of writers, The power of digital sphere, the collective attempt, and competitions like World Poetry championship and ultimately why this passion should be with all of us. They clapped at the end, I turned to have a photograph with the officials and one of their juniors assisted me back with my goodies from the stage and I again ordered Chilled milk to have that calmness. Hence after that, remaining poets did the same, came to stage and enjoyed as I did and once the award distribution was over the delegates announced the final release of the Official pamplate notifying the success of award event which was phenomenal. We all again went back to cafeteria to have a short supper, I shook hands with all winners and group photo clicks with them, enjoyed the Vegetarian deserts and in the early dusk the pleasant wind felt great to me as I walked and along side walked few Indians who I have met in my visit here. They congratulated with great spirits so with them I went back to my hotel after the final proceedings had been accomplished and one more memorable moment has been added to my life's chapter...

QUOTES – CALIBER/NATURAL LOVE/REGRET STEP/FINE LOVE by Mantri Mark 1310 Tags
Why are you being so kind; What are you hiding behind? That lovely face;Smiling with slow pace!I know what you mean; But I’m not what I had been.No more angst and worries;Thinking about those bitter memories! Why should I fall sick; For those who always trick? That’s when I’m awake; And I’ll work for my sake! Now I just want to claim; No one come between my aim.I want to live for me;Watch what I’ll be!My lovers would be proud;Seeing behind me that crowd.I would thank all my haters; For they’ll be amongst my makers!I hope in future we meet,And I won’t be effete. We’ll be strangers by that time,Wish you’ll remember your crime! You wouldn’t know how badly I cried,How many times literally I died,These scars will follow me even in day,I doubt whether they’ll ever fade away!
Marriage and Divorce. This has become a hurdle to many of Bride's family members and even to Bride. Deep analysis is needed for this. A small Article
Makati is the city that is known for it's coffee pubs, cultural glory and equal set up by the way it responds to the cultural nights and that is what we had been hoping for when in the early evening as a musical band we prepared ourselves for the Musical gig. Generally uptil now people had come to know what the 'The lightboom band' does and we were up for the challenge as we also had to perform up to the task with experts coming to analyse and thence a poetry night was also planned later after the musical performances which had to be kept in mind while performing on stage. In such basic conception what was the major concern that we should keep ourselves up to the time limit set as when the fb event was created we had expressed ourselves very clearly for what time introductions, musical night and poetry sessions would go on and we had to keep ourselves into that time frame to set up all core meetings with hussle and bussle happening with more people coming to the event and making it a cracker. When we started the show though we were very great to see the early impression and thence having certain time limit on hand with all the musical systems getting set the night was going to be a cracker with every musical person of the team responded with loud cheers, jeers and delight and thence we took the advantage and launched on to make it a cracker by all means. First the introduction of the people from the academic group proceeded in which the 8 faces from India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia were included who introduced themselves gracefully and explained their cause. Once that was settled, the multigenre writers including me went to the stage and raising our hands into the stands we introduced ourselves and the genre for which we had been here which was phenomenal in all respects. However there was a small hiccop and the old poetry friend Nick sir felt deranged himself deciding later to quit from our co-author project thus the poetry book titled 'Winner's love' has to be disposed of and now it shall be my own responsibility to write a book by my own commitment separately titled 'Culture of World ward 2' by myself which I announced on stage and it was equally congratuated with loud cheers. Besides the third introduction had certain great writers from England and they had come to review the event thence they introduced their cause to the night where it was also met with great cheers. After that a short evening supper time was announced and all who have gathered hardly felt eating themselves into the great cultural night thus in the food gathering it was now all settled for the musical night that was approaching on all fours now. After the supper was over, everybody was curious enough and all the people that had come went back to their seats now waiting for the musical night to come and let the Indian music rock into the stage that was set for our singers to perform and make the most of it by their musical voices. As planned before there were exactly four musical songs written and composed by ourselvss that had to be performed with the introduction of the team so that went great with complete agreement. First the musical instruments launched to the musical gears and thence the singers took on making the most of it which was great in all respects. The momentum they had required was on and hence with huge cheers, loud night voices and gearing move the musical team has impressed all which was the need of the hour and it went fantastic in all respects. Finally after the musical night it was getting late and time was running out thus without any hesitation the Poets were asked to come on stage and Nick sir was also invited amongst all of them for his self-poetry book 'Winner's love' now who's poetic lines he would be reading for which from inside he was pleased no dout though he was still confused with all the performances of Indians going around with Hindi on it's top gears. In the poetry session around 8 poets recited their poems on basis of the alphabetical order and it all went great with the people smiling around, the crowd was thinning but still interested and it was a cracker. On my part I got the chance to read poems of 'Asian Winds' and I did it with great joy feeling elated to get such a great response. Ultimately it was time for closing and for that honorary owners of the Corner Tree Cafe went to the stage and by their gratitude, thank you note and our acknowledgements to them the night was almost over with all went well. We are extremely thankful to our parents, family, and all who have trusted and supported our judgement in this musical cause which was great to see and the smiles are great on those faces who have been faithful to continue backing us on. However for those who not trust or get confuse now also I have said it countless times that for me 'Community first' approach is the key and if they don't believe it no matter what be the situations then they dont count for us and in our community approach only those things matter that are trusted on us. Finally I am highly obliged to the Corner Tree Cafe, their owners and they have agreed also to host a charity event next day for local Disability circle that is pleasing, Thus it is great to see you all contributing with such enthusiasm and we shal be happy to you for yor great support. For now it's goodbye Makati, thank you all for your love and turning up in such huge numbers, it was a great experience by all accounts...
Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life.My Education, in olden days completed up to basic 10th class in a Sultan Bazar Government High School, Hyderabad. Then Two-Year Pre-University Course from Badruka College of Commerce and Management at Hyderabad. My Graduation in Commerce went in from Osmania University Affiliated College, Badruka College of Commerce & Management, Hyderabad. I did Diploma in Business Management (DBM) course from a Private Institute. I also did Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Private Institution. I did Typewriting Higher Grade and Stenography Higher Grades from then combined Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, Hyderabad. How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write? My family heredity has Literature blood. By inspiring elders Literary works right from my childhood, I happened to inculcate the habit of literary writings. I have also worked hard to learn good English and Telugu languages for this purpose, though my mother tongue is Telugu. My Blood has got some Literary Blood Cells Therefore, I am a little-bit fluent in my writings, as I on and off keep my brain thinking always. More so, I don't like to keep idle myself. If I don't write and work each day, I don't get sleep, and I become erratic without work. What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? In the initial days, when I was writing literary type of work in especially in English, Readers used to comment about the mistakes. I used to refer to English Dictionary for better words. I used to correct myself with patience. I used to write better words in a bad sentence. I have developed the habit of writing English in Flowery Language, so that people/readers should read my literary work i.e., stories, song lyrics, haiku poetry, articles, essays, quotes, so on and so forth. Now I have become a little bit perfect, as I think myself, and started writing so many things pertaining to literature work. I am not getting any negative comments for my work. Only I used to get appreciation letters, good comments, and good encouragement and praising notes. I thought I would still contribute more to this World, where Top Level Literary Writers/Authors should Appreciate my works, and my ambition is to have my name in the World Famous Authors/Writers List, as a good Literary Writer, My Ambitions are more and I am working accordingly on daily basis. What is your view about the present day literary work? Present day Literary work is not that of a good Literature work, as evidenced by many Writers works. The standard of English writing is slightly just average. I have observed that my of the Technical and Management Graduates are unable to contribute to literary work, because they are all, to say many on software line. I observed that many of the software people never in the habit of writing articles/stories/songs/literary works, etc. This generation is such. Only old people used to write good English, as I knew and observed well in my life. More so, people and writers who are interested to write good literary work, need to get trained from senior mentors and continuously make a habit of writing, as a regular feature in their life. Then only, at once point of time such Literary work could be well recognized. Lest, there are chances of Literary Work getting drowned, due to not having good Writers in the coming generations. As one knew well, that "Old Water Go, New Water Come".Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? Yes definitely. Unhealthy Relationships.Relationships are something people love to be in. When it comes to talk about relationship, it’s just not a couple’s relationship we are talking about, it includes all the kinds of relation you have which may be related to your family, your relatives, your friends, your lover and so on. When you come across people you tend to share some kind of relationship with them. It can be any kind of relationship but yes you always share a relation with the person you come across. When you talk about relationships, one thing that pop’s up in everyone’s head that is their relationship good or bad. If you try keep the relationship good in front of people, they would think a good image of your relationship, no matter with who it is but if you keep your relationship bad in front of people or keep it way too much good it would create a bad image in people’s head about you relationship. Its not how you present your relationship but the way you keep it and maintain it towards the people.Unhealthy relationships often lead to dangerous paths. If your partner or your love ones insult you, do not give you the respect you deserve, treat you like the way you should not be treated and your relationship with them or your behaviour and their behaviour is more of a physical 0r at times more of a physical abuse that is called or is known as unhealthy relationship. It’s not only that the young girls face such issues in their new relationships along with their partners but also everyone faces some kind of unhealthy relationship with some or the other person they come across with. It’s not easy to deal with such kind of relationships. If you are a parent and you face some kind of unhealthy relationship with your partner and it leads to physical harm and more like a painful abuse it might affect your family and if you have any child it might disturb them and they would not find the peace of mind they desire from the one place without fail also they will lack of happiness because if their parents have abusive and physical violence against each other it might lead up to a lot of problems. This happens in marital relationships. But what about those youngsters who have relationships without knowing what it is. Unhealthy relationship not only refers or means that the relationship where there is no respect, being treated like a trash and being abusive but also it refers to things that you should not do at a certain age because you are not matured enough and maybe it’s not the right thing you should do at that time. I often hear stories from people that a girl had been physical with her partner and then she got pregnant and then she had to abort the child and her parents never forgave her and she was ashamed of it. When people asked her also her family asked her why did she take such step she said her partner would leave her if she didn’t do it and ultimately her partner left her because she was pregnant, that is also known as an unhealthy.Because when someone loves you or you love someone the person knows his or her limits and if they did want something real with you, they would never wish to do anything wrong with you. Not all relationships are like fairy tails or are like horror stories but there is a line in between the healthy and unhealthy relationship. If one could not try to maintain it, it leads towards a wrong path. Every relationship has ups and downs that does not mean you stop trying to maintain the fine line between unhealthy and healthy. Its you who decides to keep what relationship you want to maintain with your love ones. Once it goes off the line its hard to get it on the line.~By. Saloni Maliwal

When back in April 2019 I got great response from organisers of such a great award ceremony, i didn't have any idea that I shall get such a great response and support even being a visually impaired and Today I am delighted to be part of such fond memories here in sinaia in Romania that is a prominent cultural hub and provide phenomenal cultural eminence. To present a basic outline, This ceremony is for prize distribution of Awards for European Poetry championship of 2019 but It shall also represent some book launches, official moments, musical events and touring hot spots and hence it is going to be historic for sure. It generally established itself in early beginning from press note of the official organisers, the launch of the festival anthology and musical performances of two famous Italian names that make it a cracker. And from there on things started to span out in phenomenal colour and response that were certainly delightful to be part of as a great legacy. Further on more official steps took place, people from various countries introduced to each other and it was formal mood in it's early beginning from 1400 hours on 4th of may 2019 on it's first opening day for sure. Once that was done it was time for Writer's colloquiums on first historic day and that is what I looked for as a poet or author attending such meet at large. Generally here has to be four different colloquium sessions in which 1st has been devoted to the Balcan touch including writers from prominent countries, second is focused upon countries that are closer to Russian federation, third goes on with writers from big european countries to act upon and the last one has been with Immigrent countries which are popular but not belong to Europe with their writers getting chance. And hence it is a great environment for a visually impaired author like me to meet with all of them and make the most of such great award ceremony that shall go on for 2 days. Now coming to the four sessions that were very high of standard and where I really appreciated the way response was available to have most of it- such sessions had general theme divided in four different subsessions and certain countries were going to take part diversely by their own strides in different forms of literature represented by their writers that was going to make it a great one for sure. The first session had Balcan countries in focus and countries like Servia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Romania, Bulgaria and Montenegro were on stage where they presented Poetry as their core focus and thrilled us with great percentage of performance. Once they had done in the first session and photo clicks were taken, The countries that has closer affinity to Russian heartland came to stage including Albania, Azarbaizan, Bellarous, Moldavia, Poland and Sweedon and they took story writing as their core presentation to respond which was also exciting to listen out and have great response. Once their impact has been covered the 'Big ticket nations' of Europe took centre stage including England, Germany, Italy, Luxoumberg, Turkey and Mesidonia and their plays were phenomenal to watch that made it a cracker. Finally the Immigrant nation came to fourfront at the last session including Iraq, israel, India and Kroetia represented them as nation observing the core discussion where these four nations discussed the existence of writing, why it is valuable and how to present the core intensity to save writing culture which was a great experience altogether. Ultimately the evening was over with laughter and jokes amongst newly made friends, the joy was on great glow and the moment of award ceremony was coming closer as the next day was approaching for which we all have to wait one more day and the prominent galore shall come to impact very soon. The first day ended with the local vegetarian feast for we who like it the most, photo clicks amongst all the representatives from all countries and it was almost phenomenal knowing so many people from Europe for me as a visually impaired author that made the day. Though there is one more glorious day coming, It was a day I shall remember for long as a person. And by shaking hands all around, knowing that more trust has been gained and with more respect for each other we went to our places of stay and it was over for the moment of it with patience for the next day of office of culture coming at large...

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect tax that has been levied on goods as well as services from July 1, 2017. It is the biggest tax reform since independence and one of the key aspects which have caught the eye of the Indian economy. The government has categorized 1211 items under various tax slabs. According to some prior estimates, GST is supposed to boost the GDP (Gross Domestic Product). The items needed on a day to day basis like fruits and vegetables, printed books, newspapers, eggs, milk, fish, chicken, curd etc have been imposed 0% tax and services such as transportation, small restaurants, packaged food items, tea, coffee, apparel below Rs. 1000, footwear below Rs.500, kerosene etc have been charged 5% tax. 12% tax is charged on goods like butter, ghee, cheese, agarbatti, cell phones etc and services such as non AC hotels, state-run lotteries etc. Most of the items come under the fourth tax slab of 18% tax, such as refined sugar, biscuits, jams, sauces, mineral water, ice cream etc. and services like AC hotels, room tariffs between Rs. 2500 and Rs.7500, IT services etc. 28% tax is imposed on most of the cosmetics, aerated water, paint, ATM, washing machines, automobiles, aircraft, cinemas and room tariffs above Rs. 7500.Mixed Reactions to the new tax regime: Celebrations and protests emerged across India. BJP members burnt firecrackers in Jaipur to welcome GST. At the same time, people burn an effigy during a protest in Birbhum district in West Bengal. Reacting harshly to the GST launch, former Minister P Chidambaran said that micro; small and medium scale traders will suffer huge losses due to GST. On the other hand, the rollout of GST gathered huge and interest and response from Indian Inc. Top industry and business leaders see it as a positive move in terms of infrastructure, trained manpower and short term inflationary pressures. In an interview with Business Standard, Mr Narayana Murthy hoped that GST would simplify trade, boost the economy and generate jobs. Indian textile traders hold placards as they walked past closed shops during a protest against GST on textiles. Most of the shops were shut across Kashmir on 1st July to protest against GST in the state, prompting authorities to impose restrictions on the assembly of people in parts of Srinagar as a precautionary measure. However, every change in society has good and bad effects on its people. Let’s see what GST has kept in store for us!

The glistening mountain tops and pristine lakes are not the only things that are tempting to the soul. The foods in these areas of the world are so different to the taste buds and very new to enthusiastic souls who like to discover these new things while travelling. The fun in travelling lies in these small discoveries that one makes. While trekking, one comes across so many kinds of mesmerising terrains and landscapes, the soul and the body is ready to accept all the good that the foods of the local area brings along in the course of the journey. Not just the food but the native cultures and traditions are rich, diverse and a segment of traditional beliefs that have passed down the ages. Nepal is a place that is known for the diverse amount of trekking trails and terrains, for trek enthusiasts to dwell in. The best part is that trekking in Nepal does not burn a huge hole in your pocket, that’s why Nepal is a favourite amongst enthusiasts. One of the most famous tracks for trekking is the Everest base camp trekking in Nepal. People, who want to get close to the highest mountain in the world, opt for this trekking trail once in Nepal. There is a long list of foods that you should eat while on a trekking trip, but there are 5 important foods and beverages that you must absolutely avoid while starting on a trekking journey. 1. Alcoholic beveragesConsumption of alcohol lowers your energy outlet and drags down your focus while trekking. More than anything, alcohol is a beverage that stirs your emotional levels and hampers the progress on your mental capacity on a trek. Trekking is an activity that requires your mind to be aware and alert at all times; a loss of one second of your attention span can lead to fatal accidents. It is worse if you go through a hangover before starting a lengthy trek. It is true that people consume alcohol to ward off the chilling winds in a trek, but that is only really small quantities of alcohol. It is always better to celebrate with alcohol after the trek is over. 2. Cold meatsYou may have heard that meat is a very strong source of proteins and energy, but you may not know that you can obtain the same quantity of proteins and vitamins from so many kinds of vegetables. More than anything, why the consumption of meat is so bothersome is that, meat can be preserved and kept for inculcating flavour, and the proteins in the meat don’t survive for long. So, what you consume in the end is a dead flesh that has been cured for flavour. While trekking you need proteins and vitamins to keep you trekking in a consistent manner, it is not advisable to consume dead flesh while on a trek that needs you to produce the energy from within. Especially while on a trek to Nepal do not expect a lot of variety in meat. If you are used to eating beef forget that you will find beef anywhere, cow is the national animal of Nepal and it is highly offensive to consume beef or steak. 3. Carbonated drinksWhen on a trek you must take care of your abdomen and stomach. Try to eat foods that do not upset the stomach a lot. Especially consuming all natural based items is advisable. Carbonated drinks only serve for flavour and the taste buds while not being a very healthy option while on a trek. For energy boost and refreshment, try drinking natural vegan milks and fruit juices instead. 4. RiceEating rice in large amounts causes your stomach to swell and this makes it hard for you to carry your own weight on a trek. Rice is necessary for the carbohydrates that is provides but consuming too much out of hunger is not advised. This is because rice does not provide lot of roughage for exercising the abdomen. Rather breads like the traditional Nepali roti are full of proteins and roughage. 5. Processed foodsAny form of processed foods is likely to contain very less amounts of the vitamins of that particular food. Processed foods also contain traces of preservatives that are not beneficial for your energy flow. Avoid processed foods and try to consume more foods that can be naturally sourced, even if it lacks in flavour which is very unlikely, opt for natural foods, fruits and vegetables. While on an important trek, or any trekking expedition for that matter, try to go as vegan or vegetarian as possible. The greens that you consume hold a lot more energy than meat and other alternatives you consume for proteins. There are a lot of foods that are essential for treks, and believe it or not, while on a trek, the simplest foods like rice, wheat and lentils are the best source of energy. The locals thrive on this kind of food and it is what keeps them surviving and it the best shape to be alive on these terrains. We may be tourists but the natives are locals they are one with the mountains and the natural surroundings. So follow their lead and do in Rome as the Romans do.

only bigger second to Quiz world cup, and showshow great this royal tournament has been for the VI people. In this way organisations are many who are behind the scene and also BBC networks Community channelcovers the tournament, like it does the Quiz world cup, thence the way things span out and authoritiesarrange great platforms both for stay and hospitality, and all are helpful that makes it a great one.As far the legacy of being champion to such a grand tournament is concerned, the home country havetaste of winning it twice and besides England, Belgium, Norway, Spain and Austria have also in 2019 inleadership of champion Mr. saurabh Pant from nainital with a very strong team lineup, they may wish tofulfil their will to win this tournament making the mark.In context of the process of the tournament, there are certain rounds by which the challenging teams haveto go through and as the days go by team count starts to thin and some of the best remain to combat thebest moment to cherish. In the 1st round, there are two days to follow in which both days the competing teams have to be with thebraile round and both days have 4 rounds in total with 2 braille rounds particularly on step by step process the whole tournament goes on and it's 5 day hecticschedule makes it a great memory to cherish specially for those who become the ultimate winners. There are also certain fields which a quizzer participating in such grand tournament has to prepare andthey come in different patterns according to the stage. The 1st day covers 'International relations' in which topics like Current Affairs, Global Issues, nativehistories, European-Asian relations and many other are basically covered. On day 2 the issues related to Environment come to face in which topics like European commitments,European chemicals, subsidiary alliances, Europe-Arctic tendencies and gglobal formulas are covered. On day 3 things become more tight and topics related to 'Sports' are covered in which Cricket, Football,Outdoor games, Olympics, Commonwealth and others are covered. And lastly in the knock out stage, spontaneous response matters more than anything where any field cancome to hit the target and best tteams with most prolific speed comes to act to have success.Ultimately it is a tournament to watch out and as International sport-interested people may be busywatching the Cricket world cup that is on progress, there is some nice chance for them to also enjoy ourquiz tournament who's fixtures are not going to clash after great commitments by the International quizfedeeration London is a city that is open for all, welcomes with all the favours you require and it is a city that has so many places, cultural systems and multi-tasking platforms that can certainly make your day if you are about to begin a cultural tournament like European Quiz Championship for which as a field activity we the Indian Visually Impaired team took upon ourselves to explore and have some joy in the city.Usually we arrived here in the early morning through two connecting flights and were certainly tired thus getting a stay to get fresh closer to the airport through support of Indian Quiz Federation was a great venture and we took upon ourselves to have some rest, have some vegetarian feast for ourselves and have great tastes. From there on we have to decide where we should stay for next five days, have to plan our whole field routine between the complete tournament with our hopes to go forward and thence after 2 hours of rest and comfort we took a cab and started our adventure in such a prominent city. The team that is known for certain natural ventures and cultural moves is a certain great habit to have and thence we planned our four different ways for the whole day with some prominent names joining us later and we settled it first visiting through the Tems river, then going closer to the seashore, Thence closing on our trip with some steep pillar areas and ultimately to visit famous hot spots of the city in the eve that was going to be a great experience. In such plans, we first analysed how much has been settled by the board for the travel ventures, discussed with our management how to be comfortable with some prominent names of international fames joining us and also let them know what we were up for that should be perfect to make the day for sure. Once that was all clear, it was not big deal to settle the adventures and before doing that we gradually settled for a short brunch, observed some local nature based commitments for environment and after having both steps we now looked forward for a glorius day coming ahead in such a city like London with lot of joy to be part of indeed. Our trip of the day started with having lot of joy as a team with some great names across Tames river where we had short under-water fun session and we also enjoyed boating, river-rafting and Kayaking which was all great experience to cherish as a group bonding session as a team. Once that was over we headed towards the sea shore and there at the beach we took over a task to perform as a nature based activity collecting recycling products and using them to recycle with certain machines available which was a group activity once again and made our delight increase a lot having it done accordingly. After having the activities closer to water sports, we retreived back for a short lunch and having vegetarian cooked food for us as a team thence we headed towards some Pillar-owned places with historic essence where we explored with our hands and devices, talked with local guides about their evidence-based maturity and had lot of laughter pulling each other leg as a team. Finally after these three trips were over, the last one was approaching and we took upon ourselves to have another cab ride with two guides for us who stopped the cab on every local venture to explore and it was a great community view of London we had by their support which was all at large great fun to have with group activities and happy atmosphere allalong that is always energetic before any tournament to come and make impact. Ultimately the joy of outdoor fun was over and the formal procession to face the best was approaching soon which meant that European Quiz Championship was not far to begin and it was few hours before we would again sit amongst those all and would be competing but before as a team we gathered closer to the place where we are going to spend our five days as stay and we found some local experts enjoying musical play which we listened on and refreshed our mood before such formal activity from next day would begin. We confirmed to the officials of the stay rooms that we would have five day settlement in the place and the financial expert of the team paid the official charges with a small help by me as a captain as a group contribution, had some joy with the team before going in to sleep and after having quick pieces of vegetarian supper which is our core demand the night was now approaching fast and we were getting ready to do our best. By all means it was a great day outdoor, we had lot of joy as a group with some prominent names of global respect also joining us and before going to sleep we texted them online thanking their presence and with smiles all over they also responded great. By all accounts now the only hope is to do well in the tournament, As a captain am assured that we only have to focus our goal coming ahead and let's hope we must perform up to our expectations all over the globe, till more happy moments come by with great furver It's cheers from charlie...
