Q:Please give details about your initial education and forming years of life. A: I’ve done MCA and was there in the IT industry for few years. But, always had a flair for writing since my childhood. I didn’t remember when I first picked up the pen, but I do remember one thing. It changed my entire life!Q: How did you get interested in literature? What inspired you to write?  A: Literature liberates your soul. Words empower you. If you ask what inspires me, I would say, inspiration is everywhere around you. You just need to have an eye for it. I'm surrounded by a lot of people around me. Each one has a story to share. I just get the idea from the everyday life of all those.Q: What difficulties did you have to face with respect to literary work? A: To present a piece of literary work (something worthy, something close to your heart, something upon which you have devoted your time and effort) in front of a huge audience out there, and the related doubts of meeting the expectations of and fear of acceptance by your readers can be the scariest part. It’s challenging yet exciting.Q: What is your view about the present day literary work? A: No doubt, the present day literary work has come a far way. People are eager to put forth their views, share their ideas and narrate their stories.Q: Do you think that the emergence of digital and social media has given a new opportunity to creative writers? A: Yes, the emergence of digital and social media has played a crucial role to showcase the talent of creative writers. Writers are getting more exposure than ever before.Q: Please tell us something about your literary work. A: Writing is a form of art and I love creating it. It is like painting your emotions vividly on a canvas. I believe Pen is the most powerful weapon and Writing is the purest form of therapy. My writings mainly revolve around the freedom, equality and empowerment of women. It also involves exploring life by means of travelling and the life lessons learnt in the entire process.Q: What was your first literary work and how was it published?  A: ‘Be wild again’ is my first literary publication. I owe to the BlogChatter team for the support and direction for publishing it initially. The book is now available onAmazonalso.Q: How many ways literature can contribute to society in future?A: Literature is liberating in itself. I always feel rewarded when someone somewhere can relate to it or when my writing brings that beautiful curve on someone’s face or if it brightens someone’s day or uplifts someone’s emotions or motivates someone. Just like a small stone can also create a big ripple, a few words are enough to capture the hidden emotions and deep thoughts beautifully. And to that, if it conveys the message of love, strengthens the connection between the mob, it’s definitely going to uplift the society overall.Q: Where do you see yourself after 5 years in the literary world?A: Not only I would love to see my work in more hands, but also would love to see myself in more smiles and like to find a place in more hearts.Q: What ways would you suggest to build a community for poets?A: Apart from the connection on social media, if we can organise more events on poetry, I think it would leverage the community for poets.Q: What message would you like to give to aspiring new writers? A: Some tips for the aspiring writers:      Self-doubt is the biggest enemy. Don’t fall in its trap.      Put your unique voice forward without any filters.      Never stop exploring yourself. You never know what opportunity is waiting at the other side.      Go out, share and connect with others. There’s a lot to learn from the beautiful world out there.      Be consistent and make your presence feel.Q: How was your experience of writing on StoryMirror? A: StoryMirror projects a mirror image of your own life stories in varied forms.
