How to Improve aim in PS4 or PS5

If you are a beginner, you recently changed the settings for your sensitivity, or you have only just started playing a game, it can be a bit tricky to aim right on the PS4 or PS5. Practice makes perfect with any new skill.

My experience with PlayStation gaming has been longstanding, but I admit that Fortnite caught me by surprise when I played it for the first time. The aim wasn't as good as it used to be for me - and I was quite puzzled by that.

Using a controller makes aiming more difficult than using a mouse.

Read on to learn how you can improve your aiming at the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. I will list all the things my friends and I have done to improve our aim. These methods have been tested and I've presented you with the results in this guide.

The best way to aim a PlayStation controller

Practice Daily

When it comes to learning how to aim at PS4, there's no shortcut. This post began with the statement that practice makes perfect. You should start with an easier game if you aren't happy with your current goal. If you're not able to aim correctly while playing a battle royale game, you may get extremely frustrated.

I will give you this advice: Take baby steps. You should take this advice seriously, I promise you. Choose an easier game, practice aiming for a few days and you'll improve your skills.

You can train with bots if you don't have friends to play with.

Pick the right level of sensitivity for you

As you probably already know, you can better aim with low-sensitivity settings. As a result, your character moves more slowly and you can begin pre-aiming earlier.

Your character will move faster when you have high sensitivity settings, and your enemies will find and shoot you more difficult. The downside is that aiming becomes more difficult to control.

Initially, low-sensitivity settings should be used, and then higher settings should be explored. When it comes to battle royale and shooting games, play with high sensitivity if you wish to dominate.

The only problem is that you need time to develop your aiming skills in high vulnerability settings.

In order to develop your muscle memory, gradually increase the sensitivity settings.

Fortnite, for instance, makes me play with a sensitivity of 6/6 and a building threshold of 1.38. The rapid build time and precision aiming I achieve thanks to this.

You will notice a significant improvement in your aim in Fortnite on the Playstation console if you use 6/6 sensitivity with 1.38 for building.

In order to develop your muscle memory, gradually increase the sensitivity settings.

Fortnite, for instance, makes me play with a sensitivity of 6/6 and a building threshold of 1.38. I am able to build reasonably fast and aim with precision because of this.

Using 6/6 sensitivity with 1.38 for the building will give you a better aim in Fortnite on your Playstation console.

Create your own strategy

You might not get the same results as others.

Studying the map on which you're playing will help you predict where your enemies are coming from. You have an advantage over new players if you know where players usually hide.

It is important to have a clear strategy, such as maintaining steady sights as you approach a corner.

Making sure you are comfortable with a controller is the first step to ensuring your aim is perfect. Feeling uncomfortable causes you to lose focus. Instead of focusing on hitting your target, you begin thinking about how your hands feel. As a result, your reaction time can be impaired and you'll have less time to line up a shot. The importance of comfort cannot be overstated.

Ensure your environment is comfortable, yet focused, before turning on the game or picking up the controller. Make sure you remove distractions such as your phone, adjust the brightness of your TV/monitor, and ensure you're seated in an active gaming position, such as with your back straight and elbows on your knees, not slouching. Make sure you dress comfortably and do whatever it takes to keep active and comfortable.

Let's move on to the controller.

All OEM controllers are identical, regardless of the hand size of the player. You are responsible for shaping and customizing your controller for the right fit.

We at KontrolFreek have created Performance Thumbsticks and Performance Grips for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One to make this as easy as possible.

With our Performance Thumbsticks, our thumbs will be more comfortable and agile because we increased the surface area and height. You can choose from three different sizes of Performance Grips to customize the type of comfort you want for your hands and palms.

It's time to get to work once you've customized your controller to your optimum specifications.

As you become more comfortable and accurate, it's time to make sure you maintain that level. Making consistent shots is the last step in permanently improving your game.

Aim Training

Practice makes perfect in any skill. Apex Legends has training modes you can use. Create a Free-for-All game in Call of Duty with 11 recruit bots. As you're practicing reflexes and fine-tuning split-second aiming, turn off the sound or take off your headphones and avoid pre-aiming any corners.

SteelSeries' Aim Master is an incredibly useful tool. The game allows you to experience more consistency and accuracy with your shots through a web browser. It's completely free and works in any browser! Another great game with controller support is Aim Lab available on Steam.

A.D.S and Aim Assist

There is some discomfort involved with clicking with the left trigger in most shooting games, especially when you use Aim Down Sights (ADS).

On the other hand, you'll probably also notice that when you use the controller, your weapon moves for you and adjusts its aim for you. This is known as Aim Assist and is prevalent in TPS and FPS games.

Players who use a controller have an enormous advantage over those using a keyboard and mouse (KBM). There is a built-in mechanism to maximize damage and decrease shots in most shooters, and if you are aware of its presence, you can use it to your advantage.

Aim Assist is different in each game program. To get a consistent sense of your chosen game, keep experimenting. The right stick can be nudged slightly upward to help ensure that you take a headshot when you are able to trust the system to aim when you ADS.

I used that method to improve my aim on the console. Follow these quick tips to become a better player. Over time, we will become better at taking aim and reacting to situations. Therefore, keep practicing and being patient.
