Summers are the best time to relish ice cream sandwich cake. Ofcourse, people with a sweet tooth would not think about summers or winters before having this cake, but ingesting this cake in summers will ultimately beat the summer heat. No, people with a sweet tooth do not overrate this delicacy. The delicacy is worth everything. Firstly, it is a cake so, there left no reason to prove its worth. Secondly, it brings along ice-cream with it. So, naturally, this sweet tooth is way better than others. Moreover, an ice cream cake is the only escape from these scorching summers.

The layers of ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate combined are the road to heaven. This gorgeous looking delicacy is perfect to become your summertime sweet. All you got to do is to look for day or midnight ice cream cake delivery, and there you are, receiving your favorite dessert at your doorstep. 

Though I have enjoyed this cake many times, I always wondered how this cake is made. And guess what? This cake only takes 6 ingredients and in all 20 minutes for the preparation. Well, I believe, there’s no match of the whipped cream prepared at home, so I would suggest you use homemade whipped cream while baking.  

Note: If you haven’t tasted this ridiculously beautiful delicacy yet then mind you, you have been missing something outstanding and tasty in your life. 

Ingredients: 

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract.

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoon chocolate syrup

  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar

  • 9 thick square-shaped ice cream sandwiches

  • 1 cup crushed cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies

Directions:

  • Pull a 9*5 inch pan. Place a parchment paper. Leave 1 inch extra on the edges so that they act as handles

  • Beat powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream together in an electric mixer for about 5 minutes at high speed, until it gets stiff peaks.

  • Array 4 sandwiches in a single layer and cut the sandwiches as per the shape of the pan in use. Take 1 cup of fresh whipped cream and spread evenly over the sandwiches to cover them. After covering the plastic wrap, place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to 4 hours. 

  • Now, use the parchment handle to remove the plastic wrap from the cake. Place the cake into larger plate or container after cautiously removing it from the loaf pan. Cover the remaining sides and top of the cake using the frozen whipped cream. Here comes the garnishing part. Sprinkle the crushed cookies and mizzle it with chocolate syrup. 

Chef’s Note: Freeze and collect the cake 4 to 24 hours before serving it. Beat the powdered sugar and heavy cream so well that it forms a stiff peak. Assemble the cake carefully with whipped cream and then freeze and cover it for 24 hours. Now use the remaining frozen whipped cream to cover the cake completely. Then serve it to your friends, family, relatives, and colleagues. I bet they would get tired of praising your skills and talent. 

So, it is pretty much justified to call this ice cream cake a pathway to salvation. Also, this beautiful cake hooks a person not just because of its appearance but also with its lip-smacking taste.
