The exit poll outcomes for the five states — Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram — are due for release on Thursday evening. These states conducted their voting sessions from November 7 to November 30. The outcomes of these five assembly elections are set to be declared on Sunday, December 3.

The exit polls, which are to be revealed on Thursday, are anticipated to provide insights into the potential results of the assembly elections. These state elections are crucial as they are predicted to influence the upcoming Lok Sabha or general election in 2024 significantly.

In three out of these five states, a fierce electoral contest is seen between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. Meanwhile, in Telangana, these two parties are engaged in a triangular fight along with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). In Mizoram, the Mizo National Front (MNF) stands as one of the prominent political parties.

Other political entities such as the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are also in the fray in these elections across the states.

Currently, the Congress holds governance in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, whereas the BJP is ruling in Madhya Pradesh. In Mizoram, Zoramthanga from the MNF serves as the Chief Minister, and in Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao of the BRS is in power.
