We humans adorn many a faces...good bad ugly nasty humane etc...etc.Our interactions with others form impressions about them.Yesterday I had to meet a client morning 9.30. in Noida.Uber was booked for me.The journey as a matter of fact was bumpy jerky and sometimes smooth too. It gave an impression that the driver may be an inexperienced one.At one point my purse toppled and everything fell out. I immediately put my things back.Reaching my destination I got down. Barely had I reached my client’s house that I got a call from the driver,”Ma’am apni chabian le jaiye.”“My keys.. Oh my God,” and ran down again towards the gate.I thanked the driver a hundred times for saving out of a fiasco that could have been without the keys.It didn't come in my notice that the keys had fallen out of the bag. I marvelled at his honesty humanity and humility. Yes goodness prevails!Kiren Babal25.1.2018
Epitome of art, architecture and culture. They are rightly the essence of Jaipur, the pink city. Place so vibrant and colorful can be synonymized as “Gateway to Royal Rajasthan”. Art and Architecture is so vastly reflected in the city that once visited, it’s almost impossible to control the urge to visit other parts of the state.Food and delicacies of this region are something not to ignore either. Rich in spices, flavours and desi Ghee are truly the royal ingredients of a Rajasthani meal. This is the exact reason a clique of girls got lost on the streets of Jaipur looking for that perfect Gewarh,Pyaz ke Samose and Dal bati churma; until they could satisfy their appetites. One of the girls wanted to capture the moments and perceptions, while others wanted to be captured in the moments. While the other girls wanted to take back goodies and merchandises as memorabilia, this girl wanted to take back the memories, trapped in the right words.Again, one among them, wanted to live in the aroma and vibes of the place herself, while others wanted to just experience them temporarily. There was something beautiful about feeling on vacation and at home all at once, that’s what made her pen this down.Four girls landed in the city, early in the morning, unaware of even the places to halt. But were no slow-paced in kick starting the day, all dressed to perfection and making bold statements. “Yes, they believed in travelling in class”. It didn’t matter how their itinerary was, but their attires were sure as hell ‘well planned’. It included colors and vibrancies as a base, two days of modernity with some desi touch, while one day restricted to contemporarily basic ethnic outfits!!Itinerary was something like this, first day included all the outskirts, majorly forts of Jaipur. Second day an excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar. Last day included the local inner-city sight-seeing. Planned shopping was to be done either at Pushkar or on the last day of trip which went for a toss and they ended up shopping on all three days. After all, they were girls and it was a girls’ trip, Duuuhhh!!!!!!! Let me clarify – not being a contra feminist here.Experience differ from person to person and so does the stories of travel, even if it’s of the same place or of multiple times. Amer fort (as pronounced), which is written as Amber fort,is a delight to ones’ senses. Well planned, better maintained and least destroyed of all the forts deserves to be called the best of them all. A person can typically spend minimum of one to one and a half hour within the fort. Jaigarh holds world’s largest cannon displayed for public. The walls of Jaigarh and Nahargarh forts are infamously called Great wall of India similar to that of China’s. The view from above and amidst those walls are surely worth a great deal of calorie burn. Not to miss a couple of stops where a glimpse of Jalmahal can be spotted in all its glory,on the driveway to Nahargarh. One can even have some chai and coffee from the local vendors, while chilling at these viewpoints.Pushkar, girls fell for it the moment they entered the streets. Call them vibes, spirit or energy, there was something totally positive. People tend to get drawn towards the hippie culture and ambience the town has. Hosting its tourists with the world’s one and only Bramha temple, charm of the town lies on the banks of serene and sacred lake of Pushkar. The roads of Ajmer to Pushkar in between the aravalli ranges, a sunset on the countryside as a back drop to the camel safari, all adds on to the drive factor. A stay here wouldn’t harm your pockets provided the kind of vacation being looked forward to is of chilling and relaxation as a main purpose. Add on: There is a lot to shop at this place, bargaining is the key!Ajmer Shariff Dargah is a place of religious significance, where faith of believers can be seen at its highest. One thing to be kept in mind is not to visit the place during the times of prayer, especially on the days of Jumma. Tourists might end up waiting for hours together just to enter the center sanctum. Also, the inner most sanctum is the hardest to get in and out of, it is advisable to be cautious of your belongings and special attention required for kids. The most economical and convenient way of travel around Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar back and forth is by local buses .It's good to keep a track of time and manage the day accordingly. There are frequent buses plying around, reaching the destination within the span of 2.5 hours. However, if there are kids and people with ailments and ageing, it's advisable to hire a cab on fair prices.Final day, girls headed towards city the local way. The most effective way of reaching the local sights is by a rick or a cab. All the major destinations inside city for example City palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar are all within the walkable distance from one another. These structures of Hawa Mahal and city palace are of more recent times as compared to those forts on the outskirts. Peek-a-Boo through those colorful windows is how Hawa Mahal can be described. City palace is in all its splendor and glory of roughness. It is enclosed with Musuems, Art galleries, Durbar halls etc. which exhibit the objects used by the then royal family. Only place of interest in Jantar Mantar for girls was of structures containing zodiac signs, along with which they could get photographed. People with special interest in science and astronomical knowledge would enjoy this more than laymen. Otherwise, it is still a good sight to visit as a place from history, especially with the world's biggest sundial as a main attraction.Girls felt teleported to the era of maharaja, these structures gave them a feel of life within them. How they wished, they could go back in time and visit when these places were inhabited!!P.S. My HApPyy Moments:1.Spotting Colorfully Painted Elephants on the streets.2.Watching ladies cooking roti on the lanes of Pushkar.3.Getting a glimpse of civilization and mountains merging from Nahargarh.4.Buying a palazzo with elephant prints on them Yesss… elephant in it’s any form is LOVE!!! HAppy Vacations and don’t forget to check the next blog“Background Check, Jaipur Jaunts-2”, containing history of the places mentioned here in detail.

The blog is about a weekend that I spent wandering the streets of Cambridge.
StoryMirror interviewed Aislin Fall, a 25 years old maker of things. Writer. Photographer. Poet. Compulsive traveller. Joy Seeker. Knowledge sponge. PNW born and bred. Here is what she has to say.Q. Tell us about you and your background.I guess I was born and then a lot of things happened and I ended up where I am now.I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I was 16 when I started taking photographs using my dad's camera. I was really obsessed with fashion photography for a long time and was always making my friends crawl into bushes and peer from behind blooming branches and once, I made my best friend carry a small wooden giraffe around her neighbourhood. Eventually, I started photographing models in the suburbs and beautiful landscapes wearing lots of different clothes. Eventually, I stopped photographing models anywhere. These past few years, I've become more drawn to taking pictures that document life as I see it, which usually fits in the category of travel and portrait photography with a tinge of adventure and lifestyle. I still shoot fashion sometimes but it's not my main focus.Photoshop came before photography for me and by the time I picked up my first camera, I was already dabbling in graphic design and photomanipulation. I fell in love with retouching as I transitioned into fashion photography and I worked as a retoucher for a few years. I don't retouch professionally any longer. I like being outside more than I like being on a computer these days.Travel has been the dominant force in my life for the past four years, although I did travel a lot with my family while growing up. I am usually in a state of going somewhere. I haven't had a "home" for more than a few months in a long time.Q. What is your life's greatest passion? What inspires you? I think life itself is my greatest passion—life and all the things it encompasses. The swell and swoon and pull and press of existence. The miracle of existing at all. The hope is to be as fully present and here in this moment. It's strange how something so simple can be so hard sometimes! How easy to get lost in your head—to stop listening to footfall of passing strangers, trills of birds, pulse of water. So my greatest passion is life and from there, everything else flows. I have been a maker ever since I was little—drawing, writing, forming stories—and the process of creating is a huge passion of mine. Nowadays, it takes the shape of photography and poetry. I grew up travelling the west coast of North America with my family and in my 20s, I've spent a lot of time on the road in Canada, USA, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Travelling is definitely one of the other great loves of my life. But they are all so wound together. Photography, writing, travelling—they're all giant pieces of this life of mine. They're how I think and feel and experience. Life gives me inspiration and then I take that and make these things with it.Life inspires me, the world inspires me, relationships inspire me, art inspires me, emotions inspire me, light inspires me. Since I'm mostly photographing my life as I experience it, I just look for moments.Q. Take us through your work. I shoot people and places. I catch real moments and pull them through my perspective until they feel like me. I get my fingerprints on everything. I'm not one of those photographers who doesn't like to modify things (though if you are, that's fine). I see things as malleable. I love Photoshop. My work is me; my work is my life. It's the fleeting instant that I got my fingers around. It's a record of where I've been and what I've felt. The roads I've walked down, the people I've loved, the sunrises I've seen, the glimmers of light that took my breath away. It's travel or landscape or documentary or lifestyle or portrait or whatever.WhistlerUSATessTasmaniaTasmaniaSydneyScotlandPortoMaiteIrelandIrelandIrelandhowthhollandCanadaBeeAusAthensAthensQ. Can you share with us a 'behind-the-scene' memory of yours that has stood out the most? Back in October, at the beginning of this last backpacking trip in Europe, I went to the Acropolis in Athens for sunrise. I watched the twinkle of dawn wash over the ancient streets of the city and observed the quiet blue of night transform into brilliant, shining light. It was one of those times when you look around at your life and feel all the decisions that brought there to that specific, remarkable, precious point. A blink of overwhelming gratitude.During the day, Acropolis is a swarming beehive of human beings. There are so many people. But when the gates first open in the morning—right before the sun rises, it's nearly empty. There were only two or three other people there when I watched the dawn awaken the city. It was so private and personal, witnessing the sun crest over the mountains, pull the shadows long and far over the ruins.Q. Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of?I have been to 25 countries in 25 years, and while that's not a "career" oriented "achievement," it's a personal achievement. I'm immensely proud of this life that I've carved for myself. I have seen so much and it's truly shaped me.Q. What is your life's philosophy?Love and interconnectivity. Be kind and compassionate towards everything—other humans, animals, the planet, yourself. We are all so tied together. Our actions matter.Q. If you could give a message to all the 20 year olds of the world, what would it be?Be patient. Remember that you are not your emotions. Gratitude is the key. Emotions are passing clouds in the sky—they are things that you experience but they are not your identity so don't be consumed by them or think that they're your truth. Patience because all things take time and it's really hard to really know who you are or what you want at 20. It's important to give yourself room to grow and discover and make mistakes. I view the 20s as being a massive opportunity for learning. Training your mind to practice gratitude has the potential to change everything.Q. How do you want to see yourself 5 years from now?Happy and fulfilled, though that's the aim for every single day and not the destination. I'd like to be sustaining an income from my photography and writing, and still engaged in creative projects that excite me. I hope to have more of a "home" in five years but still travelling a lot with at least another ten new countries checked off my list!Check out her website, blog and instagram.

Much like yoga,Trekking is an exercise that brings you together the body and the mind And makes your spirits shine, With the nurturing and the taming of your mind, You better the feelings that are food for your soul.Like yoga; in its process and exercise, trekking has a lot to do with breath-work and breath-control leading to mind control. The process of trekking then, further goes on to healing and fixing the energy loopholes of your being. The exercise of trekking is getting popular everywhere in the world. India and Nepal, the areas that are close to the Himalayas are in the spotlight because wisdom comes down from the great Himalayas to these lands. There are a plenty of trekking destination in India, and even more difficult trekking destinations in Nepal. The Annapurna base camp trek in Khandruk, Nepal is a doable and yet difficult trek that I recommend people to participate in.I will go as far as to say that trekking is a meditation and that’s because as widely it is believed that meditation requires one to be still and calm and composed; that may not be the entirety of meditation. Meditation is a practice that we do to activate our minds that has been either focusing on certain things too much, or been too relaxed or out of focus in its functioning.Meditation is essentially a practice that makes your concentration power more and more flexible and stronger. By explanation, concentration is the power of being able to contract and expand your consciousness and hold it for as long as required. Our consciousness gets out of practice and things start to get monotonous. When we go for trekking, the mind is expected to achieve great levels of concentration because it demands the holding capacity of your concentration, which, if not present, will kill you on your trek. That’s why people who have a good hold of their concentration can take up more and more difficult treks. Hence trekking is a form of moving meditation. It can be justified that trekking is essentially yoga in consistent movement and a faster method of unraveling and opening up. If you trek for a living, your body will find itself in a perpetual state of movement, and the mind at rest and in control at all times.Trekking demands for you to be mentally present at all times, or else your reality will be altered very easily and you may lose consciousness, which is why you may find trekkers walking silently in concentration. So what happens when we calm our minds and trek silently? We make our minds more and more alert so that it helps channelize all the energy in the body to be utilized by the physical activity! When your mind is calm and focused and your body is in movement, you become the humblest version of yourself at that moment because you are focusing on the bare necessities to keep you alive and walking ahead. And when humans get what they need and not what they greed, people are humbler and in greater harmony with themselves and each other. It will not be surprising to say that people, who trek as a lifestyle choice, live longer and live life in its full essence because all they have to do is walk away and find another strange place to find comfort in. What happens when you are trekking is that you are meditating with each step, your mind is calm, your body is in movement and your spirits are enriched versions which is how things are supposed to be in life, where people are only caring for their necessities and not for their greed. But the city life has introduced a lot of greed and in times when we exist in satisfaction, we may encounter moments of greed which leads our body and soul in the direction to achieve that greed that we inculcated in us. What we are doing while trekking is focusing on the bare necessities of life. With trekking you will go the natural way, and the natural way always leads to more satisfaction than running madly after something that you don’t even need. The “time” that you buy, is the “age” you have bought for yourself to live.Trekking does have tremendous scope for spiritual growth as well. Wisdom comes with the patience that we are willing to give to the things that are necessary for us, after we have bought all that time from meditating in movement. We are free to spend it on what may be an essential knowledge to pass down to your next generation. Whatever knowledge that people gain from spending time on gaining it, internalizes in our body and down to our genes...So you decide what information and knowledge you want to pass on to the coming generation. Trekking is extremely beneficial for your mind body and soul because when you are on a trek, you are feeding your entire being with all the goodness it needs internally and externally’ with every step you take, the problems you face on this journey are different from not meeting a project deadline…. You see, you’re more worried about collecting enough firewood to grant yourselves a heart-warming bon-fire when you want to take rest.
The article talks about some of the best Yoga exercises that are good for preparing the body for trekking.Trekking and Yoga are related in many ways. Both are highly fascinating to practice, filled with tons of beautiful memories. Rejuvenation of the mind, body, and soul is a common element of Yoga and trekking. All over the world, many trekkers enjoy the delight of the ancient science to boost their chance of succeeding on the trekking trails. Whether you are planning a trekking tour in Nepal or aspiring for a journey in the Alps, Yoga is the best way, to begin with. Even embracing Yoga during the tour can be extremely enjoying.Let’s talk about some of the most effective Yoga poses that help you prepare the body and mind for trekking.Ardha-UtkatasanaLet’s begin with the advanced version of Chair Pose. Ardha-Utkatasana is one of the finest ways to boost the strength of your legs and thighs muscles. Also known as the Standing Figure Four, the asana is practiced on one leg. While one foot is perfectly placed on the ground, the other leg finds itself on the knee. Although bending down in this position needs a lot of effort, it can be easily possible with regular practice. Balance is the key in both - the practice of Ardha-Utkatasana and Trekking.NatarajasanaThe vibrancy of Natarajasana can be understood by the fact that it is the cosmic dance form of Lord Shiva. Being a perfect practitioner of this asana means you are able to perform all kinds of physical activities. During the one-legged asana, the left toe is held by the left hand in the air while the right arm extends parallel to the ground. You should repeat the practice on the other side to complete the exercise. The practice tones almost all body parts and helps the body enjoy tremendous stability.ChakrasanaWelcome flexibility in your life to succeed as a trekker of the utmost level. Chakrasana is all about crossing the limits of the body and applying it to make a person internally strong. The whole body is in a circle-like position with the palms and toes balancing the body. The abdomen remains at the top during the asana. The asana is one of the finest ways to boost the flow of blood throughout the body. It also tones almost all muscles and bones of the body in the process.BakasanaBakasana is known as Crow pose, thanks to its imitation as a crow. The pair of palms holds the body weight while the body recoils in the air. Place your knees on the arms while making sure the buttocks are at the top. The exercise gives a lot of confidence to the practitioner, since it is not an easy task to hold the body on the palms. That mixture of power, confidence, and audacity can be the most important thing to have while trekking.Prasarita PadottanasanaPlace your feet wide apart (approx 2-3 ft) to indulge in a beautiful physical exercise that every avid trekker and hiker should practice. Bend in the forward direction to place the head on the mat. Make sure the knees don't bend in the process. Put your palms on the mat on either side of the head. It is an extremely amazing asana for getting prepared for a difficult level trek like Everest Base Camp Trek and GR 20.PadmasanaAt the end of a physical task, you need to relax. You want a moment or two of quietude in life to calm yourself down. Padmasana is probably the most astonishing way to relax and pacify your mind. The reason that makes Lotus Pose holds the upper hand over other restful exercises is that it comes with the additional benefit of stretching various body muscles. Just by sitting in Padmasana, one can feel complete silence as well as spinal strengthening. Chanting a few mantras helps you attain the state of soulfulness.

In order to keep your track well-lit even at night, keep enough headlamps and flashlights with extra batteries.Shades or cap: Irrespective of the weather you are trekking in, keeping yourself covered should be a priority or else sunburns may affect your skin adversely. Pack a pair of shades and caps to keep yourself protected from the heat of the sun.Hand sanitizers and wet tissues: During the trek, you will be some way or the other in contact with noxious spots which may harm you instead. Apart from many physical benefits, trekking also helps you in improving the mental as well as psychological health. To know more read the following article. In the last few years trekking in India has witnessed a huge surge in its popularity. And this led to the importance of distinct trekking tours in India such as trekking in Ladakh, Triund, Parashar Lake, etc. Though people have been following it as a trend there are multiple health benefits associated with it as well. It is easy to guess the physical benefits that include improved heart health, effective breathing, stamina, strength, etc. But there are psychological and mental benefits as well that boosts the self-confidence of an individual.Let’s examine how trekking boost self-confidence:Relieves stress: Hectic meetings, deadlines, performance, etc. all these burden the mind with stress which is the source of various health issues. Trekking, on the other hand, distracts the mind from a chaotic lifestyle and gives you space to breathe. For example, trekking in Nepal in amidst of the Himalayas helps you forget the stress and allures you towards the beauty of mountains. This releases endorphins responsible for relieving stress in the body and mind and ultimately makes you happy.Improves outlook: Negativity, unwillingness, anxiety, etc. often blocks the mind and doesn’t let you focus on the work. Whereas, trekking gives you the opportunity to drift these negativities away and focus on the necessary things. You may be trekking in hills, valleys, beaches, forests, etc. it helps you focus on the details of the environment which changes your outlook. It replaces negativity with positivity and feeds energy to the mind and body.Detoxifies digitally: Being digitally active all the time is another way that blocks the thinking capability of the mind and affects the nervous system. Going on a trek helps you detoxify digitally. It reconnects you with nature and brings awareness to the mind as well as body. This enhances the performance at work, communication skills and teaches compassion towards self and others.Strategic planning: Trekking is the most uncertain experience therefore it introduces you to the challenges that may come in the way. It helps you understand the challenges that may come, how to combat and ultimately win over them. As you gain experience, it helps you plan strategically for the trek as well as for life. Moreover, it helps in building managerial skills such as leadership, strategy management, resource planning, etc. To challenge your managerial skills trekking in Ladakh is the best trek route in India.Builds social circle: There can be a possibility that you are good at work but shy to build relations at work. Trekking helps you connect with people from around the globe to share thoughts and express yourself. You may either trek alone and be friends with a bunch of unknown trekkers and make connections for life. You may also trek with your colleagues, friends, family, etc. You will be benefited either way.Develops spirituality: Not many people can remember the last time they peek into their spiritual souls. The struggle between your personal and social life restricts you for the same. But if you are trekking in India, it isn’t that difficult to connect with the spiritual self. The river bank of the holy river Ganga, temples in India, trekking to the religious destinations helps you discover the spiritual self.Enhances efficiency: Since stress is relieved, the outlook is improved, digitally detoxified, strategic planning is improved, etc. All these eventually have positive effects on performance at work. Trekking helps you focus and concentrate on things for longer, sharpen your abilities and skills and helps you rediscover yourself. This enhances efficiency at work or at home. All the above-mentioned reasons shape the overall personality of an individual and hence, boost the self-confidence.
Trekking is a holistic activity that takes you to places that are unbelievably picturesque. Places that you may have seen in photographs and postcards. The glistening mountain tops and pristine lakes are not the only things that are tempting to the soul. The foods in these areas of the world are so different to the taste buds and very new to enthusiastic souls who like to discover these new things while travelling. The fun in travelling lies in these small discoveries that one makes. While trekking, one comes across so many kinds of mesmerising terrains and landscapes, the soul and the body is ready to accept all the good that the foods of the local area brings along in the course of the journey. Not just the food but the native cultures and traditions are rich, diverse and a segment of traditional beliefs that have passed down the ages. Nepal is a place that is known for the diverse amount of trekking trails and terrains, for trek enthusiasts to dwell in. The best part is that trekking in Nepal does not burn a huge hole in your pocket, that’s why Nepal is a favourite amongst enthusiasts. One of the most famous tracks for trekking is the Everest base camp trekking in Nepal. People, who want to get close to the highest mountain in the world, opt for this trekking trail once in Nepal. There is a long list of foods that you should eat while on a trekking trip, but there are 5 important foods and beverages that you must absolutely avoid while starting on a trekking journey. 1. Alcoholic beveragesConsumption of alcohol lowers your energy outlet and drags down your focus while trekking. More than anything, alcohol is a beverage that stirs your emotional levels and hampers the progress on your mental capacity on a trek. Trekking is an activity that requires your mind to be aware and alert at all times; a loss of one second of your attention span can lead to fatal accidents. It is worse if you go through a hangover before starting a lengthy trek. It is true that people consume alcohol to ward off the chilling winds in a trek, but that is only really small quantities of alcohol. It is always better to celebrate with alcohol after the trek is over. 2. Cold meatsYou may have heard that meat is a very strong source of proteins and energy, but you may not know that you can obtain the same quantity of proteins and vitamins from so many kinds of vegetables. More than anything, why the consumption of meat is so bothersome is that, meat can be preserved and kept for inculcating flavour, and the proteins in the meat don’t survive for long. So, what you consume in the end is a dead flesh that has been cured for flavour. While trekking you need proteins and vitamins to keep you trekking in a consistent manner, it is not advisable to consume dead flesh while on a trek that needs you to produce the energy from within. Especially while on a trek to Nepal do not expect a lot of variety in meat. If you are used to eating beef forget that you will find beef anywhere, cow is the national animal of Nepal and it is highly offensive to consume beef or steak. 3. Carbonated drinksWhen on a trek you must take care of your abdomen and stomach. Try to eat foods that do not upset the stomach a lot. Especially consuming all natural based items is advisable. Carbonated drinks only serve for flavour and the taste buds while not being a very healthy option while on a trek. For energy boost and refreshment, try drinking natural vegan milks and fruit juices instead. 4. RiceEating rice in large amounts causes your stomach to swell and this makes it hard for you to carry your own weight on a trek. Rice is necessary for the carbohydrates that is provides but consuming too much out of hunger is not advised. This is because rice does not provide lot of roughage for exercising the abdomen. Rather breads like the traditional Nepali roti are full of proteins and roughage. 5. Processed foodsAny form of processed foods is likely to contain very less amounts of the vitamins of that particular food. Processed foods also contain traces of preservatives that are not beneficial for your energy flow. Avoid processed foods and try to consume more foods that can be naturally sourced, even if it lacks in flavour which is very unlikely, opt for natural foods, fruits and vegetables. While on an important trek, or any trekking expedition for that matter, try to go as vegan or vegetarian as possible. The greens that you consume hold a lot more energy than meat and other alternatives you consume for proteins. There are a lot of foods that are essential for treks, and believe it or not, while on a trek, the simplest foods like rice, wheat and lentils are the best source of energy. The locals thrive on this kind of food and it is what keeps them surviving and it the best shape to be alive on these terrains. We may be tourists but the natives are locals they are one with the mountains and the natural surroundings. So follow their lead and do in Rome as the Romans do.

The weather can challenge you with its strong ultra-violet rays, or sometimes humidity causing nausea, dizziness, hyperthermia, sunburns, dehydration, an unconscious state of mind, and can put you in other tricky situations too. The overexposure in the Sun with increased physical activity may initiate heatstrokes, so you better be careful. Social media has given a new voice to the travel industry by sharing the personal experiences of hikers, backpackers, trekkers, photographers, etc. This influential power has spread in India like fire, as the new trend to explore untouched places like Trekking in Ladakh has become a kink for the curious ones. Trekking in India is not an easy thing to do, especially during the summers, because of the diversification in the terrains, but it’s a whole different experience which needs a separate article for itself. If the body temperature touches 40-degree Celsius or above, then it can be dangerous for your brain, heart, kidneys, and muscles. So, we have our list of tips for trekking in hot weather.Top 5 Tips for trekking in hot weather Weather ConditionsMountains have the history of surprising you at every step, not just on the ground, but it also reflects in their unpredictable weather conditions. Make sure you go through the weather forecast, even the sky looks like the clearest blue you have ever seen. As a matter of fact, thunderstorms usually occur when the weather is hot. Crazy right? So, do not take the weather so lightly especially if you are a beginner who is excited and ready to enter the wild. Keep yourself prepared for the worst case scenario. Start EarlyProlonged exposure in excessive heat may cause you headaches after sweating. You may fall unconscious, or lose a lot of energy just by being under the direct sunlight. Therefore, the best tip for any trek is to start early in the morning.A fresh start, much before the sunrise is the perfect time to save your energy for the rest of the trek without feeling lazy about it.Layers of ClothingCheck your gear before stepping in or enrolling into a long trek. Start with shorter routes in the beginning, and be all decked up with the essentials like a cap, windcheaters, sweat-proof or dry-fit clothes, etc. Keep your head covered from the heat. Also, try to go for pants to avoid minor cuts and injuries in the forests or barren lands. For insulation purpose, you may have to wear layers of light clothes. It sounds odd, but it certainly is the way to go ahead. Synthetic fibers or polyester material clothes are perfect for the trek, to prevent you from chafing as well.Keep your sunscreen, sunglasses handy.Hydration SupportDefinitely, keep yourself hydrated with water and some vitamin C drinks. Do not drink too much at once, take 2-3 sips to basically rinse your mouth time to time during the tiring trek. Consuming too much may give you chest pain, and losing all the water may cause you trouble for the rest of the trek since you have got to purify water.Other than that, do bring a few salty snacks of your choice. Energy bars are a good way to keep yourself going, to re-charge yourself.Take Regular BreaksDo not hesitate to stop once in a while and capture the view in your heart. Taking regular but short breaks is an excellent way to finish your trek as early as possible. This will make you mentally satisfied, and physically able to finish your trek. These breaks will make you realize how important it is to know about your trail so that you can pick the perfect trekking shoes for your trek.Don’t let the hot weather stop you from pursuing your trekking goals. Instead, be the ‘star’ of the trek by considering these tips. Give a hand to your mates, cheer-up the strangers, motivate people, and help them out as you move forward. These are the values of a true trekker.

When going off on a vacation, you have an assortment of choices for places to reside. You could stay in a budget to a luxury hotel or a resort, or you can easily choose Villa Rentals. In today’s blog, we’d be glad to point out some of the top 4 benefits that go along with Villa Rentals.1. More PrivacyWhen you’re off on a vacation to an exotic destination, all you want is to be able to completely relax. Time and again, it’s hard to do that at a hotel or resort. You have other family’s kids running through the halls, neighbors from the adjacent rooms making noise much to your annoyance, and much more. Choosing to stay in villas on rent instead offers you a lot more solitude and serenity. Instead of staying with your family members in a small hotel room, you can stretch out across the house. With villas on rent, you can each have your personal bedroom, giving out complete privacy from even your own family or relatives when you require it.2. More SpaceThe size of the majority of the hotel rooms is often quite small. To accommodate around four people in there, with just one bathroom, can be quite hassle for a long vacation. Endow yourself more space to stretch out by choosing villas for rent. When you go for villas for rent, you will not only be provided by several bedrooms to laze around in, but you will also get a full kitchen, get-together areas such as the dining room and lavish living room, and best of all a private outdoor entertainment area with deck or patio, private pool and marvellous views!3. More Personal ServiceWhile some hotels and resorts may have in-house team of personal service providers, you won’t get the same quality of personal service and complete attention there that you will get when you hire villas with pools.By renting villas with pools, you get additional benefits of in-house chefs and housekeepers who ensure that all your requirements during your stay is fulfilled and you can engage yourself in making memories.4. More ValueWhen you decide to stay in a hotel or resort, you get beds and a bathroom and that’s it. What about luxuries beyond a room? When you choose to stay in villa with private pool, you’re receiving a lot more value for money. From the additional space to relax to the availability of personal amenities (not a shared pool that you find at a resort), a villa with private pool gives you an amazing value. Not to mention villas that offer gorgeous views of the Sea or hilly terrains! Combine all that with the luxury services and you won’t find better accommodations than that in villas. To start planning your weekend getaway, give villas on rent a call. We’re here to make your dream of an exclusive vacation a reality in the picturesque paradise we call home! When you decide to stay with us, you can anticipate only the top-class property and best service standards. We look forward to serving you and making your vacation experience a memorable one!

Making arrangements for an excursion to Spain? Choosing how to plan a trip to Spain? The nation is a most loved with explorers, and it bodes well — could you ask for anything better about a spot pressed with undertakings for each sort of guest: delectable food, notorious sights, celebrated historical centers and conventional markets and shops, also the genuine investment funds to be had with regards to eating, drinking, and resting, particularly when contrasted with somewhere else in Europe.Yet, despite the fact that Spain effectively figures among Western Europe's least expensive goals, with a decent portion of sound judgment, you can extend those euros much more remote on your stunning Spanish experience. When to go 1. Spanish urban areas can be less expensive in August Spain's greatest urban areas (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville) will be very hot, sure, however come August, most local people are in the midst of a get-away. Spaniards escape urban zones all at once and head to the sea shore or abroad, making for a significantly less costly time to visit. So, a few cafés and shops will be shut or working decreased hours. 2. Stay away from significant occasions in Madrid and Barcelona At whatever point conceivable, attempt to design your stumble on dates that don't concur with significant neighborhood occasions — abstain from visiting while the Mobile World Congress is in Barcelona (as a rule in late February) when room rates twofold and triple. 3. Plan your outing during Spain's off-season On the off chance that the dates work for you, spare huge amounts of money on your excursion by picking the season you visit cautiously. Pursue winter (not Christmas or New Year's) for the best rates on rooms. Or then again in the event that you'd like hotter temperatures, go for the pre-winter or late-winter shoulder seasons for aggressive rates on rooms and better climate. Sorting out your outings Look at our sorting out for a great outing to the features of Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. 1. Take things gradually Joining to accomplish such a large number of things in too brief period is a certain method to overspend and not have an extra minute to unwind. Take as much time as necessary. Pick a couple of features you would prefer not to miss (i.e., see a couple Modernista design magnum opuses in Barcelona, not every one of them) and invest a portion of your energy meandering — once in a while getting lost is the initial step to finding your new most loved spot. The best time to visit Spain is regularly in the spring (March to May) or throughout the fall (September to November). At these occasions, you'll likely discover less groups, less expensive lodging, and the best climate (in any event, for hitting the sea shore!). 2. Concentrate on a littler zone Rather than attempting to see sights from over the whole nation, settle on a particular area to investigate — you'll get a considerably more top to bottom comprehension of a place and spend less cash voyaging. Progressively unusual pieces of Spain, similar to Galicia (don't miss Santiago de Compostela), Asturias, or Teruel and Valderrobres in Aragon, are great decisions for additional investment funds on nourishment and convenience. 3. Go where local people go On the off chance that you've just observed significant features from around Spain like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and the Prado in Madrid, head to lesser-known attractions that local people successive and little towns and towns close to huge urban communities where urbanites go to escape from everything. One of our top choices? The lovely beach front town of Tossa de Mar close to Barcelona. Spain is a different and interesting nation loaded up with open and loosened up individuals. It's hard not to cherish it once you get into the beat. Arranging an excursion to Spain can be overpowering a result of its sheer number of attractions and goals. Another sight worth seeing is the Capilla Real, the resting spot of numerous Spanish rulers, including Ferdinand and Isabelle, who were answerable for financing the journey of Christopher Columbus to the New World.

Here are 5 things to keep in mind while you plan an ideal trekking destination for yourself:Trekking permitMany treks around the globe require a few documents that are separate from visa and passport. Ideally, before choosing a trek you can look up the different kinds of trekking permits that are needed if you have decided to do a trek in that country. For example, Nepal has several treks that come under National Conservation Projects or Restricted Areas that need a specific set of documents. Be it Everest Base camp or Annapurna base camp trekking, it depends on which trek you choose for you to get a TIMS card. Document research is highly preferred if you’re planning to trek outside your country. WeatherAll treks are majestic unless you’re stuck in a snowstorm, which is highly likely if you ever plan an Everest trek. While planning a trekking destination, it’s advised to consider weather situations that may range from normal to unexpectedly dangerous in no time. Autumn is considered to be the best time for those who wish to trek but doing weather and climate research can save you a lot of trouble once you land in your decided trekking destination. So stay safe, and stay prepared while the sun shines or not.Exit routesTrekking routes are usually safe but some emergencies may cause unwanted injuries and accidents. Some treks are prone to sudden weather changes that might cause unexpected rains or snowstorms, leading to route blockages. While planning your next trekking destination, keep a check on emergency exit routes that are safe and pose the least amount of threat to life. Health coverIf you’re planning a trek outside your country, buying a health cover for the trek is quite necessary. While most countries make it mandatory for outsiders to get travel insurance, some might let you pass. However, for those trekking outside their homelands, a medical cover makes the journey safer and easier to be undertaken. FoodTrekking happens when you want to experience life-changing moments between nature and adventure. But what sustains any adventure is adequate food intake which gets your energy going. While planning a trek destination, be sure to know the seasonal foods of the country that fit your tolerance levels. If you're berry intolerant, then getting to know about the local food is required so that food complications don’t arise in the middle of your trek. Carrying protein bars and necessary food items is a good thing, but getting to know about the destination food will help you plan your meals ahead of time. So don’t forget the most important aspect of your trekking that will decide how your trek goes. Food is important, whether you trek or not. Digital Marketing Service Companay
